Whoo-Hoo
certainly
has
taken
our
minds
off
of
covet
19
the
last
few
days,
but
unfortunately
the
cases
had
been
rising
pretty
steadily,
not
a
good
thing.
I
think
the
last
week
was
the
most
cases
in
a
week
that
we've
seen
in
South
Carolina
since
since
the
pandemic
began,
so
we've
still
got
to
keep
our
eye
on
that.
That's
for
sure,
let's
see
Shannon's
on
the
line.
I
know
and
Tracy
we've
been
following
that,
so
we
waited
a
couple
minutes.
Let's,
let's
go
ahead
and
get
started,
Jennifer
divine
call
on
the
roll
Councilwoman.
E

D
D
Good
night
last
night
and
I
don't
know,
chief
Reynolds
has
been
able
to
join
us
yet,
but
there
were
no
no
serious
arrests.
There
was
one
DUI
that
was
not
related
to
any
protests
or
or
gatherings
so
I'm
recommending
that
actually
doesn't
require
council
action
that
we
we
not
have
a
curfew
tonight
by
the
ordinance
that
you
passed
yesterday.
D
I
do
want
to
remind
you
and
everyone
that
you
have
empowered
me
with
consultation
with
the
police,
that,
if,
on
the
spur
of
the
moment
that
that
conditions
were
to
change-
and
we
felt
a
curfew
would
be
necessary
to
put
into
place
that
we
have
that
tool
in
the
toolbox,
just
just
in
case
something
happens
unforeseen
at
this
point.
We
want
to
give
our
businesses
the
opportunity
to
get
back
into
business.
D
We
we
have
no
bonafide
threats
so
to
speak,
and
so
we
feel
comfortable
proceeding
this
evening
with
with
no
curfew
and
and
try
to
get
back
to
the
sense
of
normalcy
and
back
to
norm
here
today.
So
that's
good
news.
Another
piece
of
good
news
is
that
video
that
was
going
around
yesterday
I
think
council,
member
Griffin
had
sent
it
to
the
police
department
when
he
saw
it
in
the
morning
and
and
I
watched
it
yesterday,
I
was
it's
really
horrific.
That
gentleman
has
been
apprehended.
D
Our
folks
have
been
hard
at
work
on
that
it
happens
that
he
was
in
North
Charleston.
So
apparently
this
morning,
North
Charleston
and
collaboration
with
us
and
sled
and
others.
Everybody
that's
been
working
on
this
made
the
arrest
he's
in
the
AL
cannon,
Detention
Center
as
we
speak,
and
so
it
shows
our
commitment,
everyone's
commitment
jointly,
that
we
will
pursue
every
trace
of
evidence
we
find
and
those
who
were
involved
in
the
criminal
side.
C
D
D
Special
commission,
like
almost
like
our
budget
and
hoc
committee
and
I,
would
like
to
ask
council
members,
Gregory
and
saccharine
to
co-chair
that
with
the
ability
of
any
council
member
who
wants
to
participate
and
be
on
it
to
be
engaged
and
be
on
it.
There
will
be
no
limit
to
the
number
of
council
members
if
you
want
to
be
on
that,
but
I'd
like
to
ask
them
to
co-chair
the
two
fully
go
back
to
our
apology
on
slavery,
on
all
the
actions
that
we've
taken
since
that
time.
D
Johnson
will
staff
this
effort
and
make
recommendations
back
to
me
and
City
Council
within
90
days
of
action,
steps
that
we
can
take
to
further
the
goals
that
were
were
set
at
that
time
and
many
of
those
things
we've
been
working
on.
But
it's
it's!
It's
certainly
appropriate
to
give
it
a
full
scrutiny
and
I'm
so
thankful
that
we
had
that
discussion
yesterday.
C
Night,
if
you
want
yeah
you
it
was
it
was.
It
was
ironic
that
I
I
think
I
would
we
were
channeling,
Council
and
Gregory,
because
you
and
I
have
had
that
discussion,
maybe
an
hour
before
councilman
Gregory
raised
that,
and
you
know
we're
prepared
to
open
up
to
that
ad
hoc
committee,
all
the
city
resources
needed
and
the
mayor
and
I
talked
about
this
this
morning.
We
need
to
look
at
all
of
our
policies
as
well,
hiring
and
procurement.
We
need
to
set
the
example
of
we're.
C
D
D
Must
be
on
the
cell
phone
I'm
here
come
on,
joined
us
Jennifer
and
there's
our
chief
Reynolds
chief
I
made
a
report
about
the
lack
of
incidents.
Last
night
we
had
a
good
night
that
we're
not
going
to
plan
on
a
curfew
tonight
unless
conditions
change
and
that
an
arrest
has
been
made
of
the
gentleman
who
was
going
around
on
the
on
the
Facebook
post
from
yesterday.
So
I
already
covered
those
on
it.
Would
you
like
that?
Please
give
us
a
report
and
anything
you'd
like
I.
E
E
We've
got
a
protest
yesterday
of
about
300
people,
cloning,
a
lake
very
peaceful,
and
they
did
exactly
what
they
protest
and
and
at
the
point
in
time,
occur
few.
Where
there
was
some
agreement
discussion
they've
moved
on.
There
was
also
protests
in
front
of
City
Hall
at
the
four
corners
they
kneeled
down
for
eight
minutes
in
the
street
and
then
when
they
were
done,
they
again
were
peaceful
and
did
exactly
what
they
said.
They
do
I'm
seeing
in
some
other
areas
of
the
country
where
the
officers
are
actually
walking
with
the
protesters.
E
Kneeling
with
protesters
and
I
would
love
to
see
that
happen
here
in
terms
of
working
closely
together.
I
know
that
a
lot
of
the
pastors
and
others
in
the
community
are
getting
together
to
see
how
we
can
send
a
clear
message
about
togetherness
and
unity,
especially
going
into
this
weekend,
and
so
a
lot
of
work
being
done
behind
the
scenes.
We
started
that
way
on
Saturday.
We
did
it
together,
we
did
it
peacefully
and
of
course,
we
all
know
what
happened
after
that.
E
We
want
to
get
back
into
a
mode
where
we
are
working
with
the
protesters.
It
has
never
been
our
intent
to
make
mass
arrests
to
throw
gas
to
do
things
that
will
distance
the
very
communities
that
we've
been
working
so
closely
with
and
so
hard
to
protect.
So
we
have
a
lot
of
work
to
do,
but
for
tonight
what
the
mayor
said
is
correct.
We
do
not
have
a
lot
of
issues.
E
Last
night
there
were
some
talk
about
things,
there's
some
incident
small
minor
things
that
occurred
up
towards
North
Charleston
and
none
of
those
things
materialized
in
in
our
city
and
I've,
been
in
contact
with
Carl
Richie.
Specifically,
they
also
are
not
going
to
have
a
curfew
and
I
know
that
mayor's
talk
to
other
counterparts
and
I.
Think
that's
the
right
approach
and
we'll
continue
to
monitor
Thank
You.
B
D
Correct-
and
you
know,
I
was
kind
of
waiting
to
make
the
announcement
until
now,
because
I
wanted
to
be
on
the
same
page,
but
with
the
county
and
I
spoke
with
him
earlier
this
morning,
but
they
wanted
to
talk
with
some
folks
and
we're
we're
together
on
this
again
same
same
caveat
that
if
anything
were
to
change
conditions
were
to
change.
We
certainly
reserve
the
right
to
put
one
in
place.
We
want
to
keep
that
tool
in
the
toolbox
for
right
now.
That's
for
sure
and.
E
B
I,
we
see
the
handful
a
small
number
of
emails
about
what
to
anticipate
for
this
weekend
if
we
were
expecting
anything
to
replicate
last
weekend
for
this
coming
weekend,
and
the
second
thing
is
that
you
mentioned
of
us
folks,
walking
with
these
protesters
I
for
one
would
be
more
than
happy
to
participate
in
those
peaceful
walks
with
those
protesters.
So
that's
all
our
planning
that
and
trying
to
incorporate
officers
and
other
city
officials.
Please
count
the
end.
Keep
me
in
mind:
I
would
love
to
participate
and.
E
Will
do
that
and
I
dance
your
question
about
this
weekend,
we're
working
hard
I
just
got
up
a
call
with
the
South
Carolina
police
chiefs,
Association
Chukyo
and
a
variety
of
other
people,
and
just
talking
about
things
like
prosecution
of
these
cases.
The
US
attorney
has
been
very
open
with
his
support
if
the
case
falls
into
their
category
and
we,
of
course,
in
contact
with
Scott
Wilson
locally.
E
There
is
a
national
effort
with
the
FBI,
as
well
as
a
local
state
effort
with
sled
and
with
our
agency,
to
continue
to
collect
data
and
information
on
these
suspects.
The
mayor
named
one
of
them
there's
obviously
more
than
one,
and
we
will
continue
every
one
of
these
investigations
until
every
one
of
those
people
are
arrested.
We
have
people
who
set
fires.
We
have
people
who
assaulted
officers.
You
know
everything
that
we've
talked
about.
E
We
have
a
lot
of
those
things
on
video
and,
if
they're,
if
they
fit
a
federal
prosecution
and
and
there's
some
criteria,
it's
pretty
stringent
to
be
able
to
get
a
case.
What
they're,
interested
and
they're
open
to
that
conversation
in
terms
of
a
variety
of
different
things,
people
coming
from
out
of
state
people
being
organized
if
we.
