Description
City of Charleston Committee on Public Safety, 6/11/2020
A
B
I'll
be
happy
to
let
us
pray
our
deadly
father.
We
ask
for
your
guidance
today
as
we
meet
with
this
Public
Safety
Committee
Lord.
We
asked
for
your
protection
over
all
of
those
who
are
protecting
our
city
and
we
ask
that
you'll
help
us
to
lead
in
the
way
that
is
acceptable
to
you,
where
it's
in
your
name,
we
pray
amen.
Thank.
A
A
So
we
have
chief
crew,
Liam
I
just
saw
him
a
moment
ago
and
chief
Royals
present
and
I
thought
we've
probably
best
that
we
get
an
update
from
both
of
our
Chiefs
as
the
admits
on
May
30th
and
have
a
general
discussion
where
we
go
from
from
here.
I
heather
is
with
us
as
well
and
Susan's
with
us
as
well.
So
chief
Korea,
you
were
there
a
minute
ago.
I,
don't
see
you
if
they're
there,
we
are
okay,
so
I.
A
Thank
you
for
your
message.
With
an
update
on
the
number
of
structural
fires.
Would
you
wish
to
go
ahead
and
just
want
to
give
us
and
that
may
sound,
like
a
repeat
of
what
we
heard
at
City
Council
on
Tuesday,
but
an
update
on
structural
fires
and
other
responses
that
that
you
had
the
Department
had
on
those
two
days,
I
believe
the
30th
and
31st.
C
Certainly
so
I
don't
have
the
total
call
volume
on
the
top
of
my
head
right
now,
but
it
was
in
was
in
the
ninety
to
a
hundred
range
for
the
day
which,
in
a
coded
nineteen
world,
that's
an
extremely
high
call
value.
What
I
have
found
in
the
last
couple
of
years
that
that
I've
been
in
Charleston
that's
about
a
normal
call
volume
when
we're
not
experienced
in
the
pandemic,
but
it's
probably
150
percent
above
what
we're
used
to
in
Kobe
19.
So
between
10:00
p.m.
and
6:00
a.m.
C
C
A
C
Sir,
so
four
went
to
the
hospital
that
Saturday
night,
all
four
were
released
from
the
hospital
that
evening
three
were
able
to
return
to
duty
their
next
regularly
scheduled
shift,
which
was
Tuesday
June
2nd,
but
we
still
have
one
firefighter
who
is
out
on
medical
leave
with
respiratory
issues.
This
was
all
due
to
exposure
to
tear
gas.
So
three
of
the
four
are
back
I've
been
in
contact
with
the
fourth
and
he
is
making
progress.
A
C
A
Very
good,
any
council
members
have
any
questions
for
chief
Korea
or
anything
regarding
where
we
go
forward.
From
from
this
point
and
I
think
you
have
publicly
beliefs,
on
one
occasion,
chief
Korea,
given
former
achieve
tippet
credit
for
a
plan
of
action
in
this
event,
which
you
carried
out
in
very
honorably
carried
out.
So
we
thank
you.
We
haven't
said
it
enough.
Thank
you
for
the
service
of
our
fire
department,
very
dedicated
men
and
women
in
your
department.
A
Okay
chief
photos,
a
little
shift
to
you
and
I've
been
getting
regular
updates
from
chief
Royals.
You
know,
I'll
say
before
he
comments
that
I
had
met
with
chief
Rose
talked
with
him
as
well
as
chief
Korea
on
numerous
occasions
since
May
30th,
we
had
a
meeting
in
very
informal
get-together
I'm
in
my
office
last
week
was
terrible
of
the
King
Street
businesses
and
other
council
members
were
present
and
also
the
mayor
was
president,
a
very
good
heartfelt
meeting.
A
I
think
in
chief
levels
and
I
then
walked
part
of
King
Street
Saturday
morning,
and
then
then
we
had
another
meeting
with
the
mother
business
owners
on
King
Street
Sunday
morning
and
I
know
you
did
all
walk
through
Sunday
as
well.
So
we've
been
very
active
in
several
regards
chief
rentals
in
responding
to
folks
complaints
and
comics
and
appreciate
your
accessibility
for
those
three
days
that
I
was
with
you.
Thank
you
for
doing
that
in
you,
wanna
give
us
an
update
on
where
we
say
and.
D
We've
worked
closely
with
sled
continue
to
I've,
been
on
the
phone
with
to
Kiel.
Throughout
these
the
last
couple
weeks:
North
Charleston,
Police,
Department,
Mount
Pleasant,
the
Sheriff's
Office
in
both
Charleston
County
in
Berkeley,
County,
DNR,
probation,
parole,
Goose,
Creek
and
and
other
agencies
that
have
been
helping
us
since
this
started.
D
We've
gotten
support
from
the
National
Guard,
and
there
is
still
some
people
from
the
Guard
that
are
most
of
the
guard
has
been
demobilized.
But
we've
asked
that
chief
Kiel
keep
some
resources
available
through
this
weekend
and
he
has
agreed
to
do
that.
A
much
smaller
number
of
resources
put
some
assets
remain
available
through
the
weekend
and
we
contain
a
work
with
chief
Kiel
and
his
appointed
person
here,
captain
Ryan,
Neill
and
I'm
just
going
to
speak
briefly.
I
think
it's
important
to
continue
to
put
it
on
the
record
in
any
public
meetings.
D
Any
public
discussions
and
I've
said
this
since
before
any
of
these
protests,
and
any
of
these
riots
have
occurred-
and
that
is
my
just
great
painful
disdain
for
what
happened
in
Minneapolis
I
cannot
make
a
strong
enough
statement
against
what
occurred
there.
With
that
officer
you
what
I
would
describe
as
a
murder.
Now
that
was
videotaped
and
shown
millions
of
times
throughout
our
country,
where
you
had
a
white
police
officer
in
uniform,
essentially
killing
another
human
being.
Who
happened
to
be
african-american
and
mr.
D
What
happened
to
me,
it's
equally
as
bad
when
you
have
other
officers
not
intervening,
and
we
have
a
policy
that
requires
our
officers.
We
call
it
a
duty
to
intervene,
meaning
if
you
see
something,
that's
being
done,
improper.
You
actually
have
a
requirement
by
policy
by
training
by
culture,
by
the
leadership
that
we've
developed
and
over
the
past
year.
So
we've
enacted,
something
called
epic,
which
is
epical.
Ethical
policing
is
courageous,
is
what
it
stands
for
and
we
go
through
scenarios.
D
D
D
Do
it
safely,
peacefully
and
responsibly.
And
then
the
other
side
of
this
is
the
riots.
And
there
is
a
lot
of
work,
that's
being
done
to
look
at
what
occurred
and
and
what
I'm
done.
Heather
Malloy
our
attorneys
going
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
just
all
the
moving
pieces.
We're
still
in
the
midst
of
this
entire
event,
this
is
not
stopped.
D
There
will
be
continued
protests.
There
will
be
a
need
to
be
vigilant
to
protect
our
communities
to
make
sure
that
we
do
not
have
violence
in
our
communities.
So
there's
a
lot
of
work,
that's
being
done
as
we
look
at
what
happens
Saturday
as
we
look
at
what
we
did
Sunday
as
we
look
at
what
has
occurred.
D
He'd
stayed
since
then
to
make
sure
that
we
stabilize
our
community
to
make
sure
that
we're
working
the
peaceful
protesters
to
make
sure
that
we're
communicating
and
we're
productive
and
that
we're
protecting
our
cities
so
there's
a
whole
lot
of
dynamics
that
continue
in
that
vein.
Another
topic
that
is
extremely
important,
I
know
that
Dan
has
mentioned,
and
and
it's
it's
at
the
top
of
our
priorities,
and
that
is
the
wellness
of
our
officers.
D
This
is
a
time
where
there's
an
attack
on
the
police,
I
think
some
of
its
righteous
because
of
what
happened
and
a
demand
for
change,
and
so
we
have
to
listen
and
it's
hard
and
there's
people.
You
know
our
officers
are
out
trying
to
help
people
and
they're
being
targeted.
There's
been
people
in
our
communities
in
this
region.
If
you
will
who
have
had
all
their
tires.
Their
police
cars
slashed
who've,
been
cursed
out
in
the
grocery
store
called
names,
while
they're
out
on
these
protests
and
it's
a
difficult
time
nationally
locally
throughout
our
state.
D
So
we're
doing
a
lot
I'm
very
proud
of
our
officers,
the
men
and
women
that
are
out
there
that
have
really
stood
in
the
gap
that
are
working
really
hard
to
protect
our
city
and
it's
amazing.
The
positive
feedback
that
we're
getting
from
our
communities.
As
you
said,
even
walking
with
the
business
community,
was
really
really
hit
by
all
of
this
in
such
a
terrible
way.
We're
getting
a
lot
of
support,
there's
a
lot
of
unity
that
is
beginning
to
occur
and
we're
working
together.
D
We
had
officers,
one
officer
that
was
injured,
that
had
some
stitches
but
I'd,
say
even
more
so
than
any
physical
injuries,
and
we
had
people
assaulted.
We
had
a
lot
of
people
that
were
hit
by
things
to
include
skateboards
and
bottles
and
bricks
and
rocks
and
other
things
we've
been
focused
on
resting
them,
feeding
them
hydrating
them,
making
sure
that
they
have
information
and
communication,
because
we
haven't
had
a
lot
of
time
to
slow
down
we're
just
now.
D
Many
of
them
worked
almost
a
couple
of
weeks
without
a
single
day
off
we
we
would
give
him
a
day
off
and
actually
would
work
through
because
they
didn't
want
to
be
short
out
on
the
street,
so
most
of
them
got
it
the
option
of
day
off,
but
some
actually
did
not
take
that
option
and
work
through
we've
been
reaching
out
to
our
communities,
our
greatest
partners.
We
have
so
many.
You
mentioned
the
business
community
on
the
east
side
and
other
groups
that
are
hurting
from
from
what
has
occurred.
D
Everybody
has
been
traumatized
by
this
event
by
this
movement
in
some
way.
Some
forms
some
fashion
and
mainly
the
riots
and
what
occurred
Saturday
night,
so
we're
doing
a
lot
to
reach
out
to
our
business,
our
residential
communities
and
just
continue
to
stand
up
and
strengthen
those
relationships
and
try
to
get
everybody
to
stand
up
on
their
feet.
Just
like
we
were
doing
before
the
coven
and
and
post
protests,
and
through
this
movement,
doing
everything
we
can
to
get
everybody
back
on
their
feet.
D
I
can't
thank
our
legal
teams,
enough
I,
know
Susan
and
Heather
and
Steve
and
others
are
on.
This
call.
They've
helped
us
navigate
conversations
around
things
like
curfews,
criminal
charges,
civil
implications,
constitutional
law
issues.
None
of
this
is
easy
and
we
were
trying
to
get
it
right
and
we're
doing
our
best
to
have
a
good
balance,
and
we
continue
to
learn
as
we
continue
to
navigate
through
this
I
think
we
have
a
good
team,
that's
working
with
us
on
these
issues.
We
continue
to
look
at
things
like
equipment,
training,
staffing.
D
Having
conversations,
what
are
we
learning
as
we
go
along?
How
can
we
make
sure
that
we
have
better
deployments
and
again
working
with
Carrie
and
his
team
is
an
integral
part
of
that
process?
We
did
in
the
midst
of
this.
Have
our
third
covet
case
that
person
is
back
to
work
now
actually
never
became
symptomatic.
D
She
actually
was
out
of
town
a
few
weeks
ago,
realized
that
he
was
in
contact
with
somebody
who
had
tested
positive,
came
back,
tested
was
never
exposed
to
any
people
here
was
quarantined
for
the
14
days
and
is
now
back
to
work
and
never
really
had
any
symptoms,
but
that's
our
third
overall
case
we've
had
27
negative
tests
and
three
positives.
So
far.
Overall,
we
had
I
believe
the
numbers
24
suspects
over
50
warrants
we're
working
closely
with
the
FBI,
the
ATF,
the
US
Attorney's
Office,
the
solicitor's
office
and
other
partners
in
this
region.
D
Everybody
in
this
region
is
helping
with
this
to
round
up
we're
getting
warrants
on
people
or
make
it.
We
made
a
lot
of
arrests
yesterday
and
we're
going
to
continue
to
make
arrests
until
we
have
everybody
identified
and
properly
charged
and
in
custody
that
occurred
that
contributed
to
the
destruction
of
our
city.
D
I'll
end
by
just
thanking
everybody:
the
council,
the
Public
Safety
Committee
members
that
are
on
this
call,
and
every
council
member
that
I've
spoken
with
the
mayor
and
many
others
in
our
community
for
helping
us
all.
The
department
heads
in
the
city
have
stepped
up
in
a
big
way.
While
we
were
in
the
midst
of
all
this,
they
were
helping
out
with
boarding
up
some
windows
and
and
clean
up
and
and
and
helping
us
get
some
funding
and
equipment
things
that
we
needed
and
and
I
just
can't
say.
Thank
you
enough.
E
You
good
afternoon,
everybody
so
I've
been
tasked
with
putting
together
a
timeline
of
events
that
occurred
two
weekends
ago
and
in
doing
so,
I'm
looking
for
things
that
think
that
our
lessons
learned
things
that
we
can
look
into
and
also
I'm,
looking
ahead
to
see
whether
or
not
we
need
to
do
certain
things.
If
we
of
course
get
a
civil
suit
and
I
can
tell
you
that
the
city
of
Charleston
won't
be
immune
from
suit,
I
think
every
municipality
and
the
country
will
probably
have
some
type
of
civil
lawsuit.
E
When
there's
a
protest,
there's
usually
a
civil
lawsuit
attached
to
it.
So
in
thinking
in
that
manner,
we
have
assembled
a
team
with
our
legal
team
to
start
looking
at
the
civil
aspects
and
make
sure
that
we're
fully
prepared
for
for
those
types
of
things,
I
I.
You
know
when
the
chief
says
that
we're
still
in
it,
we
are
still
in
it,
so
I'm
trying
to
gather
information
surrounding
those
two
days.
That
is
a
lot
of
information
body.
More
camera
footage.
E
We
have
officers
supplementing
reports.
Still
we
know,
they're
officers
had
12-hour
shifts
so
a
lot
of
times.
It's
taking
them
a
little
bit
longer
to
support
to
supplement
all
these
reports,
so
we're
getting
a
lot
of
information
in
and
it's
going
to
take
a
lot
of
time.
We
have
cameras
all
over
the
city.
We
have
in
car
cameras
and
we're
trying
to
piece
everything
together,
which
will
will
take
a
long
time
to
do
I'm
also
trying
to
talk
to
as
many
officers
as
I
can
as
well.
Don't
forget.
We
also
initially
have
the
criminal
aspect.
E
We
have
criminal
trials
that
are
that
are
coming
up.
So
there's
a
lot
of
work
going
on
in
that
aspect
as
well
as
far
as
our
evidence
is
what
I
call
it.
We
were
doing
everything
to
preserve
our
evidence.
We
have
a
new
body,
worn
camera
retention
policy,
where
we've
extended
the
time
period,
where
we
retain
that
evidence,
so
we're
making
sure
that
all
of
that
the
body
worn
camera
footage
is
retained
appropriately.
We
are
also
getting
in
a
lot
of
freedom.
Freedom
of
Information
requests
right
now,
so
you
can.
E
You
can
only
imagine
the
amount
of
material
we
were.
We
are
trying
to
gather
and
get
out.
At
the
same
time,
we
are
responding
to
a
lot
of
concerns,
questions
things
of
that
nature
from
the
public,
so
we're
dealing
with
a
lot
but
I
think
all
in
all
what
I'm?
What
I'm
trying
to
convey
is.
This
is
an
enormous
task
and
it's
going
to
take
quite
a
bit
of
time
for
us
to
parse
through
everything
all.
A
Right,
I'm
all
start
with
our
senior
our
committee
counsel,
oversee
teams
and
give
you
the
opportunity
for
us
asking
questions
of
either
chief
Curia
chief
little
Czar
Heather.
At
this
point,.
F
Right
Thank
You
mr.
chairman
members
of
the
committee
and
our
public
safety
team,
thanks
for
being
here
today,
I
know:
there's
a
lot
going
on
and
Heather
I
guess
maybe
through
you
I
just
want
to
ask
this
of
both
Chiefs
and
it
was
just
some
notes.
I
jotted
down
before
this
meeting,
based
on
some
things
that
heard
both
through
the
community
and
in
our
city
council
meetings-
and
that
is
you
know,
as
is
specific
to
the
the
events
of
March
30
May
30th,.
D
Yeah
I'll
take
that
I
think
the
answer
is
yes
to
all
the
above
right
and
I.
Think
right
now
the
message
I
would
give,
which
is
kind
of
it,
helps
to
have
Heather.
You
know
talk
a
little
bit
about
how
the
fact
that
we've
already
begun
that
process,
but
right
now
we
need
to
focus
on
protecting
our
city
and
that's
going
to
take
months
to
do
and
at
some
point
we'll
be
able
to
synthesize
that,
as
you
say,
you
know,
I
don't
know
you
know.
F
D
A
In
a
council
of
seekers,
I've
asked
Heather
as
she's
going
through
this
review
process
and
when
she
mentioned
only
about
collecting
data
and
collecting
reports
collecting
recordings
to
do
that
in
a
way
to
put
those
in
catalogs,
so
that
this
review
process
will
be
a
lot
easier
for
everybody.
But
then
I
do
that,
because
a
lot
of
reasons
why
you,
as
you
and
I,
know,
collect
evidence,
but
part
of
that
I
think
is
to
make
sure
it's
accessible
for
our
for
our
internal
review
process.
A
B
B
Yeah,
first
of
all,
just
want
to
thank
both
of
you,
for
you
were
motifs.
Thank
you
so
much.
You
know
a
lot
of
us
here
three
years
ago
dug
into
your
backgrounds
and
have
seen
since
then.
You
know,
we
know
what
you
stand
for,
and
we
appreciate
what
you
do.
We
know
the
way
you
run
our
departments
and
and
and
you're
very,
very
much
appreciated,
and
we
know
the
outstanding.
B
You
know
men
and
leaders
that
you
are
so
I
just
just
wanted
to
to
say
that
both
of
you
have
have
strengthened
both
the
fire
department
and
the
police
department,
and-
and
you
know
we-
we
appreciate
what
you
do
and
and
thank
you
for
that
and
just
want
to
say
thank
you
for
the
way
that
you
did
reach
out
to
the
business
people
and
in
the
way
that
you're
continuing
to
to
try
to
build
those
relationships
back
up.
I
know
there
was
a
lot
of
anger.
B
I
know
that
was
a
tough
situation
to
be
in,
and
you
know
it's
very
very
much
appreciated
what
to
ask
that
as
we
move
forward,
I
guess
miss
Molloy
and
whomever
else
as
we
move
forward
and
we
give
information
out.
Is
there
a
way
for
this
committee
to
kind
of
get
a
heads
up,
even
if
it's
Allen
before
just
so
that
we're
not
caught
off
guard
before
something
goes
out
to
media
or
to
the
general
public
or
anything
like
that?
I
mean
just
recently.
B
D
Think
the
answer
is
yes,
councilmember
Seeley-
and
this
is
obviously
a
very
big
deal
and
and
I
think
that,
as
are
you
with
all
of
your
constituents
and
everybody
having
an
interest
in
this,
that's
a
reasonable
request
and
I'll
have
to
I'll.
Probably
talk
and
I
know
Steve's
on
the
call,
maybe
Steve
you
can
help
me
via
Charles
Francis,
in
making
a
connection
to
our
public
safety
committee,
in
particular
as
some
of
those
requests
and
and
media
releases
their
public.
D
You
know
most
of
that
is
public
information
as
there's
in
relevant
things
of
importance,
making
sure
that
you're,
aware
of
them
I
think
that's
a
reasonable
request
and
we'll
kind
of
if
you
can
make
note
of
that
Steve,
because
all
the
folios
come
through
you
and
Heather
and
I.
We
can
kind
of
just
talk
about
that
and
see
if
we
could
do
a
little
better
job
to
make
sure
that
you
have
some
heads
up
on
some
things
of
significance
like
that,
chief.
D
A
We
really
thank
you
for
those
comments,
and
questions,
and
chief
particularly
with
folks,
are
very
simply
the
number
of
arrests
are
being
made
or
when
an
arrest
has
been
executed.
Those
updates
are
very
helpful
because
folks
are
very
keen
on
those
numbers
so,
and
that
should
be
pretty
easy
to
disseminate
that
information.
Mr.
F
F
D
E
F
A
G
It's
been
a
difficult
couple
of
weeks
for
all
of
us
and
I
know
you
guys
are
on
the
front
lines
and
I
I'm
gathering
the
morale
on
both
both
departments
is
is
low
and
anything
I
can
do
personally,
please
let
me
know,
and
then
secondly,
I
just
wanted
to
tobacco.
You
know,
as
part
of
the
the
co-chair
for
for
our
new
Commission
I,
definitely
want
to
say
that
every
opportunity
I
get
moving
forward.
G
I
will
point
to
the
the
importance
of
the
protests,
but
I
also
think
it's
important
that
we
communicate
as
leaders
on
council
to
make
sure
that
we
protect
you
all
and
make
sure
that
the
anger
that
is
is
being
felt
is
not
directed
to
to
our
men
and
women
in
service
I'm
gonna
do
every
effort
that
can
and
I
know.
Councilman
Gregory
will
echo
those
sentiments
as
we
continue
to
work
on
the
special
commission
I.
G
A
Councilman
glad
you
brought
that
Commission
app
in
this
meaning
the
suspension
of
Commission
on
equity,
inclusion
in
racial
conciliation
and
part
of
their
task
is
to
we
review
the
racial
bias
on
it
in
recommendation
so
I.
Why
that
peace
is
central
to
y'all's
overall
mission
and
I
think
it's
critical
the
mayor,
the
chief
started
off
as
tommix
talking
about
the
audit
in
in
conjunction
with
what
was
to
say
that
moment
ago
and
I've
said
this
publicly.
A
The
chief
in
you
mentioned
this
earlier
Schiele
when
we
reviewing
candidates,
chief
Reynolds
is
not
afraid
of
confronting
criticism
while
confronting
the
truth
and
he's
going
to
embrace
it
and
make
our
department
better
I,
think
that
speaks
for
both
of
our
fire
chief
and
our
police
chief.
They
are
we're
there
to
embrace
change
and
make
our
departments
better,
because
overall,
we
all
benefit
from
that.
So
appreciate
their
willingness
to
do
that.
Mr.
mayor,
you
don't
mean
to
exclude
you.
A
H
A
A
I
You
chairman
shade,
I'm,
really
just
grateful
to
be
able
to
hear
whenever
our
two
Chiefs
are
explaining
clearly
their
goals,
their
willingness
to
be
transparent
and
forthcoming
and
get
at
the
truth.
I
join
councilmember
saccharin
in
pledging
my
commitment
I've
been
doing
this
whenever
I've
had
the
chance
over
the
next
last
week
or
two
to
are
absolutely
standing
behind
you
and
you're
not
going
to
separate
the
council
from
the
people
that
we
give
our
trust
to.
So.
Thank
you
very
much
and
just
get
some
rest.
Thank.
J
Thank
you,
a
council
member
said
I
just
want
to
echo
that
sentiment
and
just
say
that
I
cannot
express
my
support
for
our
police
chief
and
our
fire
chief,
any
more
than
I,
possibly
can
and
I'm
making
that
known
loud
and
clear
in
every
forum
that
that
I
can
that
I
could
reach
and
I
think
that
you
know
during
a
during
a
crisis.
It's
important
for
everybody
to
you,
know,
be
a
team
and
that's
what
we
are
right
now,
and
this
is
not
just
blind
loyalty.
J
I
have
full
faith
and
confidence
in
our
leadership,
and
you
know:
I
I
tend
to
think
that
when
we
have
some
perspective
on
this
and
we
look
back
and
we
compare
how
the
city
of
Charleston
fared
through
this
crisis
relative
to
some
other
countries
around
the
country,
we're
gonna
be
very
proud
of
of
what
happened
here.
So
thank
you
again
to
everybody
and
look
forward
to
the
continued
efforts
in
the
days
to
come.
Thank.
A
You
and
I
just
want
to
thank
my
my
committee
for
all
their
hard
work.
We
just
went
through
a
series
of
interviews
for
municipal
candidates,
mutual
judge
candidates.
We
have
been
dealing
with
the
koba
19
issues.
This
is
on
our
plate
as
well,
and
we're
also
task
when
it
comes
to
issues
dealing
with
emergency
responses.
We
know
that
we
have
storms
will
be
brewing
out
there.
It's
gonna
do
that,
we're
in
that
middle
that
I'm
trying
the
beginning
of
that
season
of
storms,
so
we
were
going.
A
So
we're
here
to
help
and
I
know
both
of
you,
gentlemen,
have
emphasized
this
and
I
just
want
to
repeat
this
and
I.
Think
I
almost
said
at
beginning
training
is
a
critical
element
of
all
of
us
and
equipments.
Also,
a
critical
element
of
all
this
I
know
we're
going
through
a
budget
process
we'll
soon
and
we'll
have
some
very
tough
decisions
with
budget
issues
coming
up
and
I.
Think
every
member
of
this
council
has
probably
gotten
a
gazillion
emails
on
comments
about
budget
issues,
so
we
will
be
addressing
that
I'm
sure.
A
H
A
So
now
I've
been
in
contact
with
the
wind
east
harbor
and
we've
had
a
good
conversation
yesterday
about
where
we
are
with
the
racial
bias,
audit
and
we'll
do
that
and
I
think
we
probably
don't
have
to
go
into
executive
session
on
one
of
our
fire
stations
under
construction
that
our
next
city
council
meeting
as
well,
so
we'll
be
addressing
that
too.
At
that
time,
okay,
that's
said:
I
said
we
had
a
lot
on
our
plate.
I
really
do
mean.
We
have
a
lot
not
like
I
guess.
A
We've
got
close,
we're
really
really
really
close.
Really,
we
need
to
go
and
have
legal
advice
and
our
next
meeting
on
that
fire
station
all
right.
There
be
no
further
business
I
everybody
have
a
great
rest
of
the
day.
The
Sun
is
how
it
looks
like
and
there's
a
the
Charles
County
Bar
Association
is
sponsoring
a
March
I
think
in
epic,
the
Charter
County
Courthouse
judicial
complex.
So
if
y'all
are
free,
y'all
be
able
to
take
part
of
that
this
afternoon.
Thank
you
all
very
much
in
we
are
hereby
adjourned.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
