Pretty
currently
fathers
we
come
for
you,
we
thank
you
for
make
many
blessings.
Thank
you
for
your
amazing
grace.
We
pray
for
our
leadership
of
this
country,
I'll
state
special
prayers
for
the
North
leadership
of
our
city,
as
we
undergo
tough
time
for
strong
decisions.
We
ask
for
the
best
of
our
wisdom
and
the
best
of
our
intellect
to
come
forth
as
we
go
forward
to
do
the
business
on
behalf
about
all
of
our
citizens
in
the
city
of
Charleston.
F
We
pray
for
those
who
are
less
fortunate
and
help
that
some
our
decisions
today
will
be
helpful
to
them
to
make
a
better
day.
We
pray
for
those
fighting
for
democracy
far
anyway.
Please
keep
them
in
your
embrace
these
prisons.
We
bring
forth
and
your
name,
let
us
all
say,
amen,
amen.
Thank
you,
sir
I.
B
Second,
all
those
in
favor
say
aye
any
opposed
we
for
a
very,
relatively
short
agenda.
We
got
a
pretty
thick
packet
we
received.
The
first
item
is
for
consideration
of
the
approval
of
a
memorandum
of
agreement
between
the
city
and
kids
on
point
to
utilize,
a
recreation
space,
sagu,
divine
community
center,
so
I
think
either
mister
miss
Yarborough.
You
got
to
talk
to
us
about
item
a
customer.
D
Shared
its
Laurie
I'd
be
happy
to
just
discuss
that
this
is
a
memorandum
of
agreement
that
we're
bringing
before
you
to
ask
permission
for
the
city
of
Charleston
to
allow
kids
on
point
nonprofit
to
utilize
the
recreation
space
and
st.
Julian
Devine
during
the
month
of
July.
There's
no
cost
to
the
the
group
or
to
the
city.
I
would
simply
be
making
recreation
space
available
to
up
to
50
children
in
their
program
for
the
summer
enrichment
program.
That
kids
on
point
will
staff
and
pay
for.
B
D
Said
this
is
the
former
Chuck
down
squash
group
that
started
out
teaching
the
kids
how
to
play
squash
they've
got
a
an
agreement
with
the
College
of
Charleston.
Unfortunately,
due
to
the
covet,
they
lost
their
space
at
the
College
of
Charleston
this
summer.
They
could
not
get
any
space
at
CCSD,
so
they
came
to
the
city
of
Charleston,
so
we've
been
working
with
them
in
the
past.
They
use
our
pool.
They
have
kids
in
our
programs,
so
they've
been
a
good
nonprofit
partner
for
the
city
of
Charleston
for
the
last
several
years
and.
B
D
C
Would
like
to
chime
in
that
this
is
the
group
that
Tod
Abaddon
and
his
wife
started.
They
don't
they
don't
really
run
it
anymore.
They
got
it
running
and
they
focus
on
helping
underserved
kids,
get
opportunities
and
learn
things.
They've
never
learned
before
or
didn't
have
the
opportunity
to
learn,
but
also
kind
of
instill
life
skills
and
all
like
that,
it
is.
It
is
a
awesome
program.
C
B
F
B
G
So,
thank
you
councilmembers.
This
is
a
project
that
you
have
heard
heard
from
in
the
past
when
we
made
the
Greenbelt
application.
Unfortunately,
when
we
brought
that
in
front
of
you
last
time,
we
did
not
have
the
formal
resolution
drafted.
So
this
is
just
a
follow
up
to
that
current
Greenbelt
application
for
the
land
on
Johns
Island
to
then
have
the
formal
resolution
included.
B
E
Don't
really
have
any
just
I
mean
I
I,
fully
support
this
I've
been
trying
to
advertise
mr.
Khan's
Berg's
departments
survey
SurveyMonkey
that
they
would
like
to
hear
from
citizens.
I
took
company.
Our
application,
like
about
a
board
I,
do
feel
like
there
has
been
some
questions
that
are
that
are
framed
in
what
we
said
when
we
were
buying
the
Pemberton
property
and
applying
for
our
urban
allocation
that
the
city
is
allotted
through
the
per
capita
receipt
of
tax
funds
that
go
to
the
Greenbelt
fund,
and
at
that
time
we
made
it
clear
I.
E
So
there's
been
some
people
that
were
asking
the
city
in
the
county
to
look
at
using
Greenbelt
funds
for
two
or
three
other
properties
in
the
interim
and
I
naively
told
them
that
you
know
we
had
used
up
our
allotment
and
that
sort
of
created
a
back-and-forth
between
me
and
a
couple
of
county
council
members
and
now
a
County
ruff.
So
I,
it's
not
controversial,
but
I
do
think
it
needs
clarification
that
that
there
is
now
evidently
a
more
open-ended
strategy
with
the
Greenbelt
gram
coordinator.
E
E
We've
cumulative
work
now
we're
accumulating
as
the
taxes
come
in
over
the
next
several
years,
but
that
with
boone
hall,
my
understanding
from
Kathy
ruff
that
the
board
and
then
the
council
that
that
agreed
to
the
Brune
Hall,
a
conservation
easement
basically
identified
a
new
strategy
that
we
could
borrow
against
funds
that
we
know
we're
gonna
be
earning
into
the
future.
So
just
for
the
record,
it's
fast
a
little
I.
F
Thank
you,
mr.
Campbell
I
kind
of
want
to
piggyback
on,
but
Miss
Jackson
just
say
Councilwoman
Jackson
just
said
in
it.
This
is
a
if
there's
not
once-in-a-lifetime,
opportunity
to
be
able
to
I,
don't
know,
expand
the
existing
park
about
60%,
I
think
with
acreage
and
I
just
want
to
come
in
our
staff
and
offer
working
with
the
own
end.
Obviously,
this
process,
hopefully
soon
would
kind
of
counsel
to
get
this
approved
because
it
would,
with
the
growth
that's
taking
place,
to
enjoy
now
on
to
go
from
what
do
we
have
now?
Mr.
F
Romberg,
something
like
14
acres
to,
hopefully
24
or
25
acres.
I,
just
think!
That's
wonderful,
so
I
just
want
a
command
everybody
for
the
hard
work
and
you're
right.
This
is
a
net
once
in
a
real
opportunity
that
we
can
take
advantage
of
like
we
do
with
for
Pemberton
and
then
know
with
jinan
silent,
just
great.
B
G
B
G
G
G
But
again
if
there
was
an
opportunity,
we
should
go
for
it
and
that,
and
she
also
indicated
that,
based
on
the
existing
funds
on
hand
inside
the
Greenbelt
that
the
money
was
there
and
again
as
referenced
earlier,
it
was
a
similar
approach
that
was
used
for
the
Boone
Hall
purchase.
So
again,
we're
not
the
money's
on
hand,
and
she
would
have
just
encouraged
us
to
make
application
if
we
found
something
to
apply
for
yeah.
E
E
E
You
know
that
I
think
we
had
probably
whether
we
just
were
under
an
impression
that,
because
Boone
Hall
hadn't
happened
yet
and
we've
never
seen
in
advance
of
funds,
but
somehow
you
know
that
the
information
was
was
provided,
Morna
well,
we've
used
up
everything,
we've
got,
and
now
we
have
to
sit
until
we
until
we
can
start
to
accumulate
again
and
the
fact
that
they
are
helping
us
create
a
way
of
using
funds
that
are
unused
right
now.
I
think
is
to
the
credit
of
the
Greenbelt
program.
E
B
G
E
B
E
B
B
G
So
this
this
is
a
project.
That's
been
a
long
time
coming,
I've
been
working
with
the
Land
Trust
to
figure
this
out
for
probably
four
or
so
years.
There's
been
some
some
staffing
changes
over
at
the
Land
Trust
and
anyway.
So
with
this
memorandum
proposes,
is
on
the
land
that
was
protected
a
couple
of
years
ago
around
the
oak
tree,
which
was
the
plan
unit,
development
or
multi
multi,
family
and
some
retail.
G
Of
course,
the
city
of
Charleston,
in
coordinating
with
and
with
the
Greenbelt
folks,
the
Land
Trust,
this
35-acre
Angelo
preserved,
was
protected
from
development
and
our
small
parking
area
that
currently
exists
that
Angelo
Park
does
not
support
the
number
of
folks
that
go
and
see
the
tree
on
a
daily
basis
and
therefore
forces
a
lot
of
cars,
trucks
and
buses
to
park
along
Angelo
Road,
which
created
an
access
issue.
So
we've
been
working
on
this
for
a
couple
of
years.
We
have
a
concept
plan
which
is
adjacent
to
the
angel
oak.
G
B
B
You
you
need
further
discussion
by
any
members
of
council
of
this
committee,
see
you
then
I'll
call
for
the
blood,
all
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye
any
opposed
the
eyes.
Have
it
then
we'll
go
to
3nx,
ations
and
upheld
you're,
not
the
only
pressing
on
the
annexation
trail.
This
time,
I've
got
one
a
my
district
as
well
so
slip.
It
is
okay,
so
who's
your
bringing
up
the
discussion
on
our
annexation
system,
Lee
I'm,
miss.
E
B
Good,
a
second
okay,
any
further
discussion
for
any
members
of
council
on
the
innovations
with
the
these
three
parcels,
all
those
in
favor,
please
signify
by
saying:
yes,
yeah
any
opposition.
Yes,
those
carry
all
right
because
any
further
business
we
need
to
take
out
with
this
committee.
At
this
time,
I.
F
Do
maybe
have
something
attitude
on
the
agenda
for
the
next
time.
Mr.
chairman,
yes,
sir,
it
was
a
possible
land
in
between
the
houses
of
Montclair
Drive,
and
you
know
the
apartments
I
know
it's
owned
by
well.
I
can't
think
your
name
right
now.
They
little
later
it
owns
all
apartments.
Mr.
mill
and
Ellen
Ellen
did
a
stripper
and
then
I
think
the
beach
company
used
to
loan
but
I
believe
the
Catholic
Church
may
own
it.
Now
that
could
be
potential
for
a
nice
little
park.
F
Writer
and
there's
got
Waldo
on
both
sides,
but
it's
kind
of
like
a
peninsula
that
runs
up
in
there
and
between
South
Pine
Point
subdivision,
miss
Hoffman's
apartments
and
want
clear
Drive
and
st.
Joseph
Catholic
Church
right
in
that
area
in
there
and
I've
gotten
some
requests
from
some
of
the
neighbors
in
that
area
to
look
at
it
for
a
park.
So
I
thought.
Maybe
it's
a
good
idea
to
do
that.
You
reach
out
to
a
Catholic
Church.
It
was
given
to
them.
Every
can
make
some
in
the
future.
Make
some
passes
improvements.
C
B
B
Well,
thank
you
for
the
invitation.
Thank
you.
I
is
any
further
business
that
we
need
to
consider
for
this
committee.
I
will
see
those
of
y'all
about
30
minutes
by
the
way.
Remember
Carl
Brady
on
lon
I
did
not
want
to
cut
him
out.
The
decision
we
made
on
Johns,
Island
I,
know
I
love.
This
quote
in
the
paper
that
he
was
I
didn't
want
to
cut
him
off
if
he
was
online
I,
don't
think
he
is
so
all
right.
Well,
CNN!
We
are
hereby
adjourned
and
I'll.
