Back
in
there,
okay,
okay,
all
right.
Okay
number,
eight
people,
approval
set
any
discussion
question
guys
all
in
favor
aye
oppose
it.
So
move
parks,
capital
projects
is
properly
moved
and
seconded
that
we
approved
item
number
nine,
all
in
favor,
any
unread
enos,
not
so
move
I
did
that
a
little
backwards,
approved:
okay,
I
guess,
item
11
and
item
10,
its
improperly
moved
and
seconded
that
whip.
Okay,
question.
A
F
Of
the
West
Ashley
Greenway
was
frankly
taking
forever,
because
it's
was
some
federal
funds
involved.
They
call
it
an
LPA
project
and
the
amount
of
bureaucracy
and
red
tape
would
just
astound
you
and-
and
so
what
we
decided
to
do
was
move
forward
with
that,
paving
with
some
of
our
own
unencumbered
city
funds
and
and
transfer
this
money
to
another
LPA
project,
which
will
be
the
new
sidewalk
that'll
run
along
wafu
Road
from
from
the
Greenway
over
to
Savannah
Highway,
which
is
a
bigger
project.
It's
along
the
d-o-t
roadway
and
so
that
kind
of
scrutiny.

C
Just
want
to
thank
the
me
if
we're
doing
it
frankly,
it's
beating
it
up.
I
appreciate
that,
and
obviously
the
project
go
Vaughn
walk,
pool
road
would
subscribe
more
to
those
expenses
anyway
and
you're
right.
That's
right,
wakfu,
road
bike.
We
compared
to
the
the
Greenway.
It
makes
a
whole
lot
of
sense
of
speeded
up.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
It
go.
G
Thank
You
mr.
chairman
I
just
wanted
to
ask
when
I
was
looking
at
this
and
maybe
I
read
it
wrong,
but
it
looked
like
ipw
was
1.5
million
cheaper.
Was
that
correct
and
I
guess
it
just
opens
up
to
do?
Are
they
fully
understanding
in
comparison
to
whatever
the
others
were
offering,
but
it
appeared
that
they
were
1.5
million
dollars
cheaper
than
the
all
the
other
bids,
and
that
just
brought
concern
of
making
sure
that
they
understood
what
they
were
bidding
on
when
I
guess.
I
D
We
had
12
to
14
qualified
general
contractors
show
up
and
it
was
a
mandatory
pre-bid
and
sometimes
that
can
result
in
a
change
in
competitiveness
at
the
bid,
and
you
get
some
folks
that
are
going
to
give
you
a
price
that
they
know
that
they
can
cover
the
cost
and
make
some
money,
and
so
that
we
talked
to
some
contractors
that
didn't
bid
afterwards
and
while
they
they
wouldn't
give
us
what
their
number
was.
It
was
in
between
those
two,
so
I
mean
we
did
ask
them.
Specifically,
we
were
going
in.
D
F
Mr.
Chairman
I
would
just
like
to
point
out
a
couple
things
for
for
our
guests
here
that
we
just
approved
so
they'll
know
number
seven
included
the
completion
of
the
engineering
which
was
discussed
today
in
the
Public
Works
Committee
of
the
Earhart
Street
tunnel
project,
or
really
an
extension
of
the
Fitch
burn
tunnel
over
to
Earhart
Street.
So
right
now
and
I
just
want
to
publicly
shout
out
and
thank
governor
McMaster
and
so
far
I'd
like
to
report
to
Council
that
both
members
of
the
house
and
of
the
South
Carolina
Senate
have
contacted
me
to.
F
C
C
Yeah
many
y'all
may
see
the
deep
water
retrieval
vehicle
that
medica
Universe
has
actually
bought
to
ferry
doctors
and
nurses
back
and
forth
doing
the
rain
bomb
events
that
we
sometimes
get
I
mean
this
could
help
out
even
eliminate
at
least
an
act
30
acre
corridor.
They
use
the
need
for
that.
So,
okay,
it
saves
the
city
I,
think
tens
of
millions
of
dollars
creating
this.
