If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
The
Charlotte
Housing
Authority
will
open
the
wait
list
for
the
Housing
Choice
Voucher
program,
formerly
known
as
section
8
to
new
applicants.
This
video
will
provide
you
with
an
overview
of
the
Housing
Choice
Voucher
eligibility
requirements
and
step-by-step
instructions
for
completing
the
online
application.
A
Waitlist
applications
will
only
be
accepted
through
the
online
applications
portal.
This
video
is
created
to
answer
basic
questions
and
help
you
successfully
submit
your
application
online.
Submitting
your
waitlist
application
is
the
first
step
in
the
voucher
process
and
will
not
guarantee
a
voucher.
Applications
will
be
screened
by
housing
authorities,
staff
and
qualifying
applicants
will
be
contacted
by
someone
from
our
staff
at
a
later
date
and
time.
A
Let's
go
over
some
basic
eligibility
requirements
of
a
Housing,
Choice,
Voucher
program
or
HCV
to
help
you
determine
if
this
program
is
the
right
choice
for
you
and
your
family,
the
Charlotte
Housing
Authority
cannot
deny
anyone
from
applying
for
the
waitlist.
However,
there
are
several
federal
requirements
that
applicants
must
meet
in
order
to
be
eligible
for
the
program.
The
head
of
household
must
be
18
years
old
or
an
emancipated
minor.
The
day
the
voucher
is
issued
at
least
one
member
of
the
household
must
be
a
US
citizen
or
a
non
citizen
with
eligible
immigration
status.
A
A
There
is
an
income
and
household
size
chart
available
on
our
website,
WWE
in
Sea
Org,
to
help
you
determine
if
your
family
is
eligible
based
on
your
total
household
income
and
size,
the
chart
can
be
found
by
clicking
on
housing
opportunities,
Housing
Choice,
Voucher
program
and
2014
income
limits.
Under
the
related
downloads,
the
housing
authority
will
conduct
a
criminal
background
check
for
all
household
members,
age,
16
and
older,
when
an
application
is
selected
for
processing.
A
Additionally,
the
Charlotte
Housing
Authority
does
not
issue
vouchers
to
families
with
a
member
who
has
a
conviction
and
arrest
for
any
violent
and/or
drug-related
crime
within
the
last
seven
years.
In
an
effort
to
address
the
pressing
needs
of
our
community,
the
Charlotte
Housing
Authority
has
established
five
local
preferences
to
determine
how
families
are
placed
on
the
waitlist.
A
The
first
preference
is
given
to
homeless
families
to
qualify
for
this
preference,
the
head
of
household
spouse
or
co-head
must
be
homeless
and
participating
in
a
self-reliance,
supportive
service
program
that
assists
families
in
a
shelter
or
short-term
transitional
housing
program
for
a
maximum
of
90
days.
The
second
preference
is
given
to
families
where
the
head
of
household
is
a
veteran
who
served
in
the
active
military
naval
or
air
service
and
who
was
discharged
or
released
therefrom
under
conditions
other
than
dishonorable.
A
The
Charlotte
Housing
Authority
believes
that
all
able-bodied
residents
should
work
and
has
provided
a
third
preference
to
working
families
in
order
to
qualify
for
this
preference,
the
head
of
household
spouse
or
co-head
must
be
employed
at
least
15
hours
a
week,
be
enrolled
in
a
self-sufficiency
program
or
in
school
or
a
training
program.
This
also
includes
families
where
the
head
spouse
or
sole
member
is
a
person,
age,
62
or
older,
or
a
person
with
disabilities.
A
The
fourth
preference
is
for
those
individuals
who
are
near
elderly,
for
this
preference,
heads
of
household
spouse,
co-head
or
sole
member
is
a
person
between
the
ages
of
50
and
61
years
old.
There
is
a
fifth
preference
given
to
victims
of
domestic
violence
to
qualify
for
this
preference
families
must
provide
verification
of
domestic
violence,
either
from
local
law
enforcement,
such
as
a
protection
from
abuse
order
or
through
a
referral
from
a
local
organization.
A
Those
are
the
charlotte
housing
authorities,
five
local
preferences.
If
your
family
qualifies
for
any
of
these
preferences,
you
should
indicate
the
appropriate
preference
on
your
application.
You
can
still
apply
to
the
waitlist
if
you
do
not
qualify
for
a
local
preference.
Now
that
you
know
a
little
