Description

Microsoft and the Mayor's Youth Employment Program collaborate to bring free summer camps to Charlotte. It's a nationwide initiative that educates young women about careers in technology. Girl Power!

I can clearly see that we're going to be doing something for Legos, so I like LIGO, so I think it's pretty fun.

Microsoft has reached out, in partnership with the mayor's office, to find young ladies, who have great potential to expose them to what technology careers are all about. Technology.

Is everywhere in this day and age, and so I wanted to be able to kick-start and spark that interest in the girls at such a young age to keep them thinking about? Oh well, you know technology might not be the men's eat that I want to do, but it's something that can kick-start and help elevate something I'm very passionate.

About for me, it's successful when the girls understand that it is currently a male-dominated field, but it shouldn't be this.

Is showing us a lot more information, the idea when I was out there and she just talked about how all these people who made Instagram, who made Twitter and Facebook they're all men, and why can't we mission to one.

Of the things that Charlotte is challenged with is having equal access to opportunity for every person in every neighborhood. This is one program. It's going to help us close that gap.

The feedbacks been awesome, and, what's really great about it, is we've actually had girls who have attended the camp actually come back and work for Microsoft. We.

Have great partners in our community have so many people who really just want to make tomorrow better.
