A
B
Welcome
to
the
charlotte
community
toolbank,
my
name
is
maureen
kruger
and
I'm
honored
to
be
our
executive
director,
we'd
love.
To
tell
you
a
little
bit
about
the
work
we
do
in
the
community.
Serving
organizations
like
yours.
The
tool
bank
is
available
to
any
charitable
organization,
including
neighborhood
associations,
schools,
churches,
government
organizations
and
your
traditional
nonprofits.
B
All
of
our
11
000
inventory
items
are
available
to
our
member
agencies.
Anytime,
they
have
a
mission
related
project.
Those
projects
can
be
anything
from
helping
an
elderly
neighbor
landscape,
their
yard,
to
hosting
a
community
gathering
or
forum.
We're
happy
to
help.
You
project
manage
your
next
event,
but
before
we
do
that,
we
want
to
take
you
on
a
tour
of
our
warehouse
and
show
you
all
the
things
that
we
have
to
offer
all
of
our
items:
loan
at
three
percent
of
the
retail
costs
for
one
week
so
for
pennies
on
the
dollar.
B
B
Let's
take
a
step
back
before
we
get
too
much
into
the
details
about
all
of
our
specific
tools.
Let
us
show
you
some
projects
that
we've
put
together
with
our
friends
at
the
city
of
charlotte.
That
will
help
you
understand
the
tool
bank
and
figure
out
what
great
creative
things
you
can
do
in
your
neighborhood.
C
D
D
D
A
Perhaps
your
apron
group
is
interested
in
painting
the
pavement.
A
common
project
across
the
city
of
charlotte
first
connect
with
us,
and
we
will
connect
you
with
the
department
of
transportation
for
you
to
get
approval
after
you
have
approval,
you
can
visit
the
tool
bank
to
rent
some
necessary
supplies
to
help
with
your
project
the
tool.
A
B
After
all
that
hard
work
unwind
with
a
movie
night,
with
your
neighborhood
association,
we
have
inflatable
movie
streams,
sound
systems,
generators
to
power,
your
sound
system
and
your
projector,
as
well
as
all
of
the
safety
equipment.
You
need
to
keep
your
area
contained,
make
sure
you
reserve
the
adirondack
chairs,
so
your
guests
can
kick
back
in
comfort.
B
C
Hi,
I'm
nichelle
neighborhood
training
and
development
program
manager
with
the
city
of
charlotte.
Our
next
project,
we're
going
to
talk
about
is
street
cleanup
if
your
streets
need
a
little
tlc.
This
is
a
great
project
for
you
and
your
neighbors.
As
you
can
see,
there
are
lots
of
materials
that
you
can
rent
from
the
charlotte
tool
bank.
In
order
to
help
you
with
your
project,
we
have
brooms,
we
have
dust
pans,
there's
also
safety
equipment
walkie-talkies,
so
you
can
stay
in
communication,
a
clipboard.
C
A
Many
charlotte
neighborhoods
have
constructed
little
free
libraries
to
share
books.
Several
have
also
constructed
little
free
pantries,
a
similar
project
in
which
they
can
share
non-perishable
food
items.
The
charlotte
community
tour
bank
has
plenty
of
tools
to
help
your
neighborhood
group
construct
a
library
or
pantry
as
well.
A
huge
help
is
a
table
saw
which
rents
for
just
nine
dollars
and
can
really
help
when
ripping
plywood.
A
The
community
tool
bank
also
has
post
hole.
Diggers
available
for
rent
circular
saws
palm
sanders,
cordless
drills,
hammers
drop
cords
and
necessary
equipment.
This
little
free
library
right
here
was
used
using
the
charlotte
community
tool.
Bank
tools
constructing
a
little
free
library,
is
truly
a
great
project
for
a
neighborhood
group
to
pursue
together.
B
Hi,
I'm
back
to
talk
to
you
about
more
fun
and
games
that
the
tool
bank
has
for
your
neighborhood
association.
This
is
great
for
picnics
or
gatherings
as
well
as
national
night
out.
Everything
here
is
giant.
We've
got
giant,
jenga
giant,
connect,
four
giant,
checkers
and
giant
chests.
Don't
forget
how
many
chess
pieces
come
in
a
set
for
when
you
pick
up
bring
a
big
enough
vehicle.
B
B
And
hula
hoops,
which
are
new
to
our
inventory,
all
of
these
items
loan
for
pennies
a
week
and
will
definitely
bring
together
all
of
your
neighbors.
We're
so
glad
that
you
came
and
took
a
tour
of
the
tool
bank
and
got
to
learn
about
some
of
the
projects.
We
can
help
your
neighborhood
association
take
on.
Please
don't
hesitate
to
reach
out
to
us
or
our
friends
at
the
city
of
charlotte,
so
we
can
make
sure
your
neighborhood
is
as
strong
as
possible.
A
B
All
guests
of
the
tool
bank,
whether
you're,
picking
up
or
dropping
off,
are
required
to
wear
a
face
mask
and
we
do
have
those
available
for
you
and
your
volunteers
on
your
project.
So
we
can
provide
those
to
you
free
of
charge
when
your
items
come
back
after
a
project,
we're
quarantining
them
and
then
following
cdc
guidelines
to
make
sure
they're
cleaned
thoroughly
before
they're
ready
to
go
out
to
the
next
project.
B
We
are
following
all
of
the
governor
and
county
recommendations
on
gatherings,
and
we
may
have
to
adjust
your
order
based
on
the
size
of
the
group,
because
we
are
not
loaning
tools
to
projects
that
exceed
the
current
order
of
gathering
size.
If
you
have
any
questions
about
how
the
tool
bank
is
helping
organizations
respond
to
covit
or
our
own
safety
precautions,
please
give
us
a
call
we'd
be
happy
to
answer
your
questions
thanks
again
for
coming
to
take
a
tour
and
we
hope
to
see
you.
