Find out how a clear sidewalk is a safe sidewalk. http://sidewalksafety.charlottenc.gov/

A
No
one
does
it
to
be
mean
ugly,
rude,
crude
or
socially
unacceptable,
Charlotte's
growing
by
leaps
and
bounds,
and
there's
a
concerted
City
effort
to
be
sure
that
his
neighborhoods
expand
or
new
ones
pop
up.
The
residents
have
sidewalks
not
just
as
a
design
element
but
sidewalks
that
can
be
used
to
get
to
the
grocery
store,
get
to
work
at
the
bus
stop
or
maybe
just
to
get
a
little
fresh
air
and
exercise.
A
Sidewalks
safety
is
a
serious
concern,
so
the
city
is
taking
a
corporate
approach
to
help
keep
your
eyes
clearly
on
the
sidewalk
prize.
You'll,
soon
be
seeing
the
results
of
that
collaboration
and
your
water
bills
and
on
the
sides
of
some
city
trucks
through
safety
reminders
on
social
media
sites
and
PSAs
on
your
favorite
local
radio
stations,
the
city's
even
created
flyers
and
a
special
website
to
clearly
drive
home
the
safety
message.
It's
something
we've
always
stressed
through
CDOT,
pedestrian
and
bicycle
safety
videos
and
on
their
website
through
examples
from
solid
waste
services.
A
With
illustrations
of
how
the
Community
Relations
Committee
protects
the
rights
of
those
covered
by
the
ATA
and
in
cities,
source
stories
highlighting
the
navigational
needs
of
our
diverse
community.
So
when
you
take
all
those
great
resources
and
put
them
into
one
concerted
effort,
what
you
get
is
a
unified,
City
voice,
supporting
safe
passage
for
all
of
us
and
asking
you
to
take
a
giant
step
by
doing
a
little
thing.
Just
keep
the
sidewalk
clear.
