helping
charlotte
become
as
environmentally
friendly
as
possible.
Recycling
is
the
process
of
collecting
and
remanufacturing
or
converting
used
or
waste
products
into
a
new
material
through
solid
waste
services.

Solid
waste
services
has
created
guidelines
to
properly
prepare
recyclables
following
these
guidelines
will
ensure
proper
preparation,
therefore,
resulting
in
your
recyclables
being
collected
when
placing
items
that
have
food
or
liquid
residue
one
should
rinse
and
remove
all
residue,
remove
caps
and
lids
from
bottles
and
from
containers
and
place
them
in
the
garbage
cart
place.
All
recyclables
loosely
in
your
rollout
car
do
not
place
recyclables
in
plastic
bags.
Cardboard
should
be
cut,
not
folded
into
sections
and
placed
into
the
recycling
cart
place.
