hi,
my
name,
is
omar
fermetta,
I'm
a
firefighter
on
your
fire
department,
chelsea
fire
department.
I've
had
the
privilege
of
talking
to
your
children
for
the
last
10
or
15
years
about
fire
safety
and
how
to
keep
themselves
safe,
and
one
of
the
most
important
messages
that
we've
talked
about
is
developing
right
now
over
my
head.
It's
what
to
do.
If
you
ever
find
yourself
in
a
place,
that's
filling
up
with
smoke
smoke
always
behaves.
The
same
smoke
goes
up,
so
the
safest
way
the
safest
place
for
you
to
be
is
down
low.
B
B
So
if
you're
ever
in
a
place,
that's
full
of
smoke
like
this
chances
are
it's
going
to
continue
filling
up
with
more
smoke?
There's
no
time
to
waste
smoke
goes
up,
so
you
should
go
down
and
by
going
down
you
go
all
the
way
down
down
to
the
floor
on
your
hands
and
knees.
If
you
have
to
you
find
the
nearest
exit
and
you.

I've
spoken
to
children
at
schools
for
10
or
15
years
about
these
topics,
and
it's
my
belief
that
they
come
away
with
knowledge
that
can
perhaps
keep
them
safe
or
save
their
life.
The
first
thing
that
I
want
to
talk
about
today
are
matches
matches
are
tools
just
like
any
other
tool
that
have
their
purposes.
Some
of
those
purposes
are
birthday
candles,
barbecue,
grills
or
campfires.
B
B
B
That
I'd
like
to
speak
to
you
about
are
lighters.
Lighters
are
used
for
a
lot
of
the
same
things
that
matches
are
birthday
candles,
barbecue,
grills
campfires,
maybe
some
other
things
that
adults
use
them
for.
But
that
is
the
important
lesson
there
is
adults
use
lighters,
not
children
matches
and
lighters
have
the
same
rules
attached
to
them.
If
you
see
them
on
the
ground,
do
not
step
on
them.
Do
not
kick
them,
you
can
tell
an
adult
and
the
adult
will
take
care
of
it.
