Description
City of Chelsea, HarborCOV
A
A
Ers
of
Chelsea,
we
are
here
at
the
taste
of
Chelsea
event,
the
annual
great
festive
occasion
that
raises
money
for
a
great
cause,
we're
at
99,
Marginal,
Street
and
with
me
right
here,
thanks
to
Paula
Bradley
Bachelor.
First,
our
executive
director
of
Chelsea
Community
cable
TV
for
allowing
us
to
cover
this
and
our
expert
behind
the
camera.
He's
smiling
is
Ricky
Velez.
He
is
an
expert
okay,
Mr
jovenad,
founded
this
event.
Many
years
ago
it
has
raised
thousands
and
thousands
of
dollars
for
Harbor
Cove.
He
is
the
chair
of
this
event.
B
Welcome
everybody,
it's
great
to
be
back,
live
over
the
last
two
years
of
because
of
coven.
We
were
unable
to
be
here,
but
we've
got
a
good
selection
of
vendors
who
have
stepped
back
up.
We've
got
what
22
vendors
who
are
going
to
be
here.
The
correct
number
would
be
more
like
tens
of
thousands
of
dollars
and
it
goes
to
a
great
cause.
Harbor
Cove
and
domestic
violence,
which
we
all
know
is
a
big
problem,
and
during
the
last
two
years
it
was
exacerbated
by
covid.
So
it's
been
a
lot
of
fun.
B
We're
also
honoring
two
of
our
people
from
Eastern
salt,
Karen
and
Kevin.
Who
were
the
glue
that
made
this
thing
go
for
the
last
six
or
seven
years
we
lost
Karen
three
years
ago
and
we
lost
Kevin
this
past
summer.
So
we're
doing
this
in
memory
of
them.
Thank
you
very,
very
much
to
East
and
salt.
We
could
not
do
this
without
them.
The
tents,
the
all
the
work
and
labor
that
they
put
into
it.
Joe
and
Shayla
are
just
the
salt
of
the
earth.
A
B
It,
yes,
it
is
actually
hundreds
of
thousands
of
dollars.
You
know
you
never
reach
for
the
sky
all
the
time,
but
you
know
back
20
years
ago,
19
years
ago,
when
we
put
this
together,
it
was
a
dream
to
raise
a
little
bit
of
money
for
a
great
organization,
and
the
organization
has
grown.
Its
need
has
become
more
important
and
through
the
hard
work
of
all
the
people
who
work
at
the
Harbor
Cove
Kuru
and
some
of
the
people
who
preceded
her,
we
have
just
grown
it
into
a
great
event.
B
I
mean
we've
been
here.
I
think
this
is
our
eighth
year
or
ninth
year
here
down
at
99
Marginal
Street,
and
we
couldn't
do
it
without
in
the
tent
I
mean
the
weather
is
not
an
issue.
When
we
have
these
tents,
the
people
have
supported
us
greatly
we're
buying
tickets,
and
now
you
just
want
to
go
on
and
on
and
on
and
continue
to
perpetuate
itself.
So
no
I
I
can't
honestly
tell
you
I
thought:
I
would
grow
to
this
level,
but
I'm
happy.
C
Everyone,
and,
first
and
foremost,
thank
you
Rick
to
Kerry
for
coming
here
year
after
years,
so
thank
you,
everyone
in
the
community,
and
especially
the
sponsors,
vendors,
volunteers,
habaco
staff
and
people
in
the
community.
This
event
is
not
just
for
habako
to
raise
funding
for
Survivor
domestic
violence
and
we
provide
basic
needs,
but
also
we
are
promoting
the
awareness
within
our
community.
C
You
all
are
coming
here
to
support
habaku,
you
all
are
part
of
habako
family,
so
this
event
will
raise
a
lot
of
awareness
about
domestic
violence,
how
it
impact
our
community,
so
please
come
and
enjoy
the
event.
And
again
it's
like
Joe,
captured
all
the
essence
of
the
event.
Thank
you,
Joe
and-
and
we
can't
have
this
event
without
the
Eastern
salt
who
provide
everything
for
for
the
event
and
then
also
the
vendors.
We
can't
have
this
event
without
sponsor
and
the
vendor
and
volunteers
and
everyone
as
part
of
the
community.
B
Okay,
yes,
please
visit
our
website
and
see
who
the
vendors
were
that
supported
us
this
year.
Most
of
them
are
repeat:
vendors
who've
been
back
for
a
number
of
years.
Please
go
to
their
places
of
business
and
support
them.
They're
doing
this
out
of
the
goodness
of
their
heart.
There
is
no
cost
to
us
for
them
to
bring
their
food
and
their
tastes.
So
please
make
sure
you
go
to
our
website
find
out
who
they
are
and
please
join
in
and
enjoy
their
food.
Thank.
A
D
Back
it
is
so
good
to
be
back
after
the
absence
of
the
covet
just
to
see
the
the
good
food
in
the
neighboring
area.
You
get
a
taste
of
it
and
it's
for
a
great
great
cause.
I
mean
this
cause
has
been
going
on
for
what
20
years,
something
like
that
and
the
Brown
Jug
has
been
very
proud
to
be
one
of
the
charter
members
honey.
Yes,.
E
F
H
A

Italian
sandwiches,
what
we're
known
for
okay,
okay,
I
love,
your
steak
and
cheese,
though
too
well
I,
wouldn't
have
kept
up
very
well
here,
but
we're
certainly
going
to
give
as
many
Italians
away
as
we
can.
How
long
you
been
in
Chelsea
50
by
the
sandwich,
Shop's
been
open
for
51
years.

O
Q
A
R
And
I'm
a
chef
at
the
residence
inn
Fairfield
in
in
Chelsea
and
I
counted
on
and
the
privilege
to
be
here
on
tonight,
I'm
overwhelmed
by
the
turnout
here
and
we're
serving
waffles
today,
and
we
have
a
variety
of
fruits:
grapes,
strawberries,
bananas,
oranges,
all
you
could
think
of.
We
have
it
right
here
and
we
just
want
to
say
thank
you
for
being
a
part
of
this
event
tonight.

W
Portrait
you
know
it's
a
family-run
business
I
want
to
make
sure
when
everybody
comes
in,
they
feel
like
they're
having
a
taste
of
Mexico,
good
drinks,
good
atmosphere
and
you
always
walk
out
feeling.
Like
you
know,
a
piece
of
home
is
Left,
Behind
or
you're,
a
piece
of
like
when
you
come
in.
It's
a
piece
of
home
that
you're
walking
into.
A
A
X
Name
is
casim,
so
here
we
have
some
fries
with
our
own
homemade
seasonings.
So
it's
not
just
boring
salt.
We
add
our
own
love
to
it.
Here
we
have
some
homemade
Falafel
chapati,
which
is
a
special.
You
know:
East
African
Middle
Eastern
Mediterranean
bread.
We
also
have
our
homemade
hummus
and
our
famous
chai,
as
well
as
our
hot
sauce
here,
which
is
a
mango
habanero
Chutney,
we're
located
East
Boston,
so
right
on
mavic
street.
So
right
behind
the
airport.

Yes,
they
call
that
I
was
like
what
the
heck
is
that,
but
we
love
her.
Y
We
love
Chelsea
High,
We,
Love,
Our
public

both
been
there.

our

Yes,
would
you
like
to
say
anything
else
to
the
people

we

the
Metro

and
can't
say
enough
about
the
catering
business.
It's
really
going
well,
okay,
continued.
A
F
Gonna
try
some
crab
rangoons

V
V
Our
interview
she's,

picture,
that's
what
you're
doing
okay.

what
bridge
do
we
have
here?

multigrain,
we

sweet
potato,
a

basic
French
French
bread
here
that
everybody
loves
knows
and
loves.
Yeah,
yeah,
okay,.
A
V
AC
You
been
the
intern
just
started
this
semester.
Oh,
we
need
to
go
to
college,
go
to
Endicott
College,
very
good
they're.
AC
The
business
yes,
sir,
hopefully
gonna
open
up
my
own
restaurant
one
day.
Maybe
it'll
be
right
here:
okay,
and
what
do
you?
What
year,
are
you
senior?
Oh
you're,
a
senior
yes,
sir
finishing
up
this
year
and
where
did
you
attend
high
school
Carver,
High,
School,
Carver
Massachusetts?
Yes
down
near
Plymouth,
that's
the
one
King
Richard's
Fair
yep
right,
King,
Richard's
field.
Have
you
been
there
I.
Q
A
A
N
Else,
sir
man
we're
pretty
good
we're
happy.
A
AE
Is
it's
a
really
great
event?
It
was
Joe
Bernard's
Vision
way
back,
you
know
when
and
it's
really
become
just
you
know,
one
of
the
you
know
Premier
Events
in
the
fall
so
to
to
support
a
really
great
organization.
Can
we
say
hello
to
your
fellow.
AE
AE
We
beat
Alabama
that
year,
I
know
I,
know,
I
know
that
was
really
awesome.
He
built
that
Stadium,
the
stadium
that
the
food
he
built,
that's
what
they
call
it
alumni
stadium.
So
what
about
Arthur.
H
M
That's
it
anyone
No
so
at
this,
so
wait
a
minute
hold
on
hold
up
so
this
table
where
have
a
raffle
and
where
all
this
money
goes
towards
Harbor
Cove.
We
have
the
50
50
raffle.
Here
we
have
a
silent
Arch,
but
there's
a
lot
of
great
prizes
donated
by
a
lot
of
great
folks
around
here.
H
H
We
are
a
organization
survive
or
working
with
some
survivors
of
domestic
violence
and
the
money
that
we
raise
here
tonight
is
going
to
go
towards
critical
services
that
our
survivors
need,
like
Crisis
crisis
intervention,
Hospital
costs,
legal
advocacy,
all
sorts
of
things
to
get
people
back
on
their
feet,
for
when
they're
hurting
financially
from
domestic
violence
and
having
to
separate
from
everyone
that
that
they
know
and
trust,
and
so
this
money
really
makes
a
big
difference
in
helping
people
who
need
it
most
get
back
on
their
feet
and
also
find
Independence
and
empowerments.
A
Leo
Robinson
well
now,
where
start
with
the
Mahoney
and
the
macnamese.
Oh
thank
you
for
donating
everyone's
talking
about
your
generosity.
This
is
Shayla
and
Joseph
talk
about
this
event.

a
great
great
night

is.

AH
It's
going
very
well,
it's
always
a
pleasure
to
see
you
and
Ricky
here.
I
see
you
just
got
done
interviewing
Sheila
and
Joe,
who
big
sponsors
of
this
event,
a
nice
table
for
their
two
employees
who
who
passed
Karen
and
just
one
just
a
wonderful
event.
It's
good
to
see
people
out
here
and
it's
always
wonderful
to
see
you
and
Ricky
here
covering
for
the
people
of
Chelsea
to
actually
see
and
it's
event
that
everybody
should
come
down
to.
Thank
you
very
much.
Thank.
T
Going
awesome,
you
know
just
reaching
out
to
Everybody,
basically
in
Chelsea
and
all
you
know,
stripes
and
flavors,
and
and
we're
making
some
good
progress.
I
was
in
Everett
all
day
today,
knocking
on
doors
and
amazingly
people
were
opening
the
doors,
so
that
was
great
but
glad
to
be
here
at
the
taste
of
Chelsea
and
helping
out
Harbor
Cove.
T
It's
a
great
organization
that
does
a
lot
of
great
work,
and
you
know
this
is
always
a
great
thing
to
do
to
come
to
the
taste
of
Chelsea
and,
and
you
know,
participate
in
such
a
great
Community
activity.
Okay,
thank
you
for
being
here
thanks,
Gary.

some
great
other
raffle
items
Carrie
and
we

two

silent
auction
items.

I
am
a
board
member
of
this
amazing
organization
that
focuses
a
lot
on
ending
domestic
violence
and
the
work
that
this
organization
does
is,
or
is
an
organization
that's
near
to
my
heart
and
that
I
believe
we
need
to
continue
supporting
so
I'm
so
happy
to
be
here.
Okay,.

Yes,
no,
we
love
coming
down
this
event
and
as
the
Director
of
operations
at
Chelsea
housing,
we
work
closely
with
Harbor
Cove
and
working
with
the
the
victims
that
they
housed
and
trying
to
get
them
permanent
housing
here
in
Chelsea.
So
they
are
a
fantastic
group
and
and
what
a
more
fitting
night
to
see
all
of
these
great
restaurants
coming
out
here
with
these
wonderful
people
and
support
them
so
and
of
course,
always
a
pleasure
to
see
you
Ricky
and
what
Chelsea
Community,
cable
TV
does
so.
AM
Go
come
with
me:
real,
quick,
hello,
everyone,
Roy
vagina
here,
Chelsea
president
Council
and
I'm
here
at
the
taste
of
Chelsea,
enjoying
another
great
night
being
hosted
by
Harbor,
Cove
and,
of
course,
enjoying
all
the
different
restaurants
that
have
come
out
to
support
Harbor
Cove,
it's
a
great
fundraiser.
AM
You
know
now
that
we're
Beyond
covet
it's
great
to
have
the
tent
back
out
and
be
together
with
everyone
and
share
an
evening
with
everyone
and
I'm
here
with
Angelie
Romero,
who
is
a
Chelsea
High
student.
This
is
her
first
time
member
of
the
Chelsea
honor
class
president
of
the
drama
club.
So
we
can't
look
we're
looking
forward
to
seeing
that
play
the
production
they're
going
to
have
this
year.
AM
But
she
came
here
as
part
of
the
team
that
is
working
with
Judith
Garcia
Judith,
who
is
a
worked
on
the
on,
is
on
the
board
of
directors
for
Harbor
Cove
decided
to
bring
a
bunch
on
Chelsea
High,
Chelsea
High
students
so
that
they
can
see
what
this
event
is
all
about.
So
we're
having
fun
it's
a
little
drizzly
out,
but
we're
under
a
tent.
So
we're
doing.
Okay
right,
yeah,.
P
AM
Thank
you,
everyone.
Thank
you,
Ricky
for
always
doing
a
great
production
see
you
later.
