Welcome
I'm
actually
going
to
be
very
short
and
brief.
I
just
wanted
to
say
good
morning
and
welcome
to
all
of
you
and
thank
you
for
being
here.
We're.
F
C
To
celebrate
a
legacy
of
Dr,
Martin,
Luther
King
and
it's
a
real
special
year,
because
the
Embraced
ceremony
just
took
place
and
it's
absolutely
reflective
of
the
work
Dr
Martin
Luther
King
has
done
and
just
embrace
all
of
us
right,
so
black
white,
a
Asian
all
of
us
as
one.
So
definitely
we
are
happy
to
celebrate
today
and
just
want
to
basically
recognize
all
of
our
local
leaders
and
represent
state
representative
Judith
Garcia
welcome
Chief
Holden
welcome.
C
We
have
our
president
counselor
back
there,
Mr
Leah,
Robinson,
welcome
and
all
of
you.
If
I
don't
know
you
by
name.
I
did
see
that
key,
our
acting
city
manager.
We
appreciate
you
and
just
all
of
you,
welcome
and
I'm
glad
to
be
here
and
I
just
want
to
say.
I.
C
Because
folks,
that
put
this
on
and
thank
you
to
all
of
them-
it's
people's
AAA
Chelsea
and
it's
the
school
Chelsea
school
department,
so
I
was
superintendent.
I
would
beloved
superintendent.
Thank
you
and
thank
you
for
allowing
us
to
be
here
in
your
space
and
just
basically
it
goes
hand
in
hand
because
Dr
Martin,
Luther
King
was
real
big
on
education
right.
He
was
brilliant
right,
we're
still
learning
and
trying
to
do
what
he
did
30
40
50
years
later.
So
how
powerful
is
that
right?
So.
B
C
Just
wanted
to
just
share
a
quote
of
his
that
education
and
his
goals
and
his
discussions
and
speeches
just
go
hand
in
hand,
so
how
appropriate-
and
he
was
a
man
of
God
of
Faith
right,
so
how
appropriate
that
the
church
and
the
schools
come
together
on
a
day
like
today
and
I
just
want
the
students
to
really
hear
this
because
they're
celebrated
they
are
our
future,
that
Dr
King
used
non-filing
practices
to
advance
the
lives
of
black
people
and
all
minorities,
all
minorities.
C
It's
six
areas,
poverty,
wage
discrimination,
housing,
justice,
peace
and
education.
He's
still
doing
that.
You
know
we're
still
doing
that,
so
he
opened
the
door,
but
the
Fight
Continues.
You
know
if
the
work
continues.
So
it's
just
not
a
dating
of
Celebration.
It's
all
year
long
to
carry
those
principles
through
right
here
in.
C
And
he
also
said
much
of
his
work
included:
encouraging
people,
especially
students
such
as
the
Barrett
Junior
High
School
students
in
Philadelphia
here
on
October
26
1967.
He
told
these
young
people
who
became
another,
which
became
another
member
of
our
speech.
What
is
your
life's
blueprint?
He
said
in
a
quote:
don't
allow
anybody
to
make
you
feel
that
you're.
Nobody
always
feel
that
you
come
always
feel
that
you
have
brought
and
always
feel
that
your
life
has
ultimate
significant.
A
C
That's
what
our
children,
our
students,
need
to
hear,
and
he
also
said
be
a
push.
If
you
can't
be
a
trade
Kings
can
Dr
King
continued.
If
you
can't
be
a
highway,
you
can
be
a
trail.
If
you
can't
be
a
son,
then
be
a
star
for
it
isn't
by
size
that
you
win
or
feel
be
the
best
of
whatever
you
are
so
I
appreciate
you
all
and
thank
you
for
coming
out
this
morning.
A
So
we
we
are
delighted
to
be
here
absolutely
and.
G
A
This
is
a
wonderful
time
as
they,
the
Church
of
public
high
school
choir,
comes
on
to
say,
Lift
Every
Voice.
Let
us
sing
this
song
with
them
partially
and
knowing
that
this
song
is
very,
very
historic.
Okay,
it
happens
to
be
the
national
anthem
of
the
black
community,
so
to
speak,
but
national
anthem
or
Justice.
Okay.
So
let
us
welcome
the
Chelsea
Public
High
School
choir.
G
B
A
A
B
A
B
B
B
B
B
B
C
Father
God
would
come
this
morning
asking
you
to
just
stop
by
this
little
School
House
in
Chelsea,
Massachusetts
God.
You've
come
to
give
the
praise
and
we've
come
to
give
you
the
honor
for
everything
you
have
done
for
each
and
every
one
present.
We
thank
you
for
Dr
Martin,
Luther
King.
We
thank
you
for
what
he
stood
for.
He
said.
Injustice
anywhere
is
a
threat
to
Justice
everywhere.
So
father.
C
Still
on
the
battlefield,
father
God,
we
just
ask
you
to
bless
this
program.
We
ask
you
to
bless
the
speakers.
Repression
I,
want
you
to
bless
everybody
that
made
it
over
this
snowstorm
God
that
you
got
us
here
safely,
God
and
God.
We
know
you've
got
something
planned
great
for
this
program
God.
We
just
ask
you
to
continue
to
watch
over
each
and
every
one
of
us
there's
so
much
going
on
Injustice
in
the
world
still
and
Martin
Luther
King
that
he
just
built
a
statue
in
Boston.
It
started
in
Boston
Massachusetts.
C
Legacy
to
live
on,
we
want
to
let
our
children
know
father
God
this
morning
that
there
is
still
hope
in
the
midst
of
something
in
the
midst
of
death
in
the
midst
of
hunger.
In
the
midst
of
homelessness,
there's
still
still
hope,
because
you
sit
on
the
throne,
father
God,
you
said
hi,
but
you
look
love
and
we
know
you're
looking
down
on
us
right
now
in
this
Auditorium.
C
G
C
C
C
C
A
We
have
we
have
three
young
people
that
will
be
doing
readings,
that's
George,
walterslay
and
Junior,
and
William
walterslam
and
Sanaa
fish.
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
A
B
F
F
F
Dr
Martin,
Luther,
King
Jr
had
a
dream
that
one
day
all
men
would
be
created
equal
and
that
our
nation
would
rise
up
and
live
out.
The
true
meaning
of
this
principle.
Now
more
than
ever,
this
freely
resonates
in
our
hearts
and
our
souls.
As
we
lived
in
unsettled
times,
I
mean
we
take
hold
of
his
teachings
and
carry
the
torch
for
this
generation
and
generations
to
come.
On
this
day
we
remember
a
great
view
who
influenced
thousands.
F
F
Here
in
this
great
City
in
Chelsea,
we
continue
to
carry
the
message
of
Freedom,
where
we
welcome
embrace
all
in
our
community
and
together
as
a
collective
voice
that
we
stand
so
now.
What
I
would
like
to
do
is
prevent
our
certificates
and
so
I'm
going
to
ask
all
of
our
first
awardee
from
the
early
learning
school
Hernandez
from
kindergarten.
If
you
could
come
up,
he
did
a
drawing
and
it
was
titled
we
belong
with.
Teacher
is
Miss
if
Andy
is
here
is
Andy
here
this
morning,.
F
Certificate
that
any
students
are
here
will
make
sure
they
get
their
certificates
and
that
they're
celebrating
at
their
schools.
The
next
student
from
the
ELC
is
Genesis
Palacios.
B
F
F
G
F
In
our
superintendent's
updates,
okay,
the
next
bowl
is
the
brookway
school
Sarah
Mesa
Matamoros
greatly.
F
F
And
then
our
next
winner
is
Brian
from
grade
three.
His
poem
is
I,
am
a
human
being
here.
A
Thank
you
very
much.
We
have
the
certificates
here
for
the
students,
so
I
think
that
the
the
schools
were
given
to
them
at
the
school
for
those
that
are
not
here,
but
we
do
have
the
certificates
here
and
every
student
that
is
here
make
sure
you
take,
because
you've
got
gift
cards
for
you
as
well.
Okay,
make
sure
you
take
your
gift
cards
now,
one
of
a
listen
to
a
speech
by
Dr
King,
the
context
of
the
location.
A
So
may
we
at
this
moment,
have
the
video
on
and
listen
to
this
yeah.
D
D
100
years
later,
the
life
of
the
Negro
is
still
sadly
crippled
by
the
manacles
of
segregation
and
the
chains
of
discrimination.
100
years
later,
the
Negro
lives
on
a
lonely
island
of
poverty.
I
have
a
dream
that
one
day
this
nation
will
arise
up,
live
out.
The
true
meaning
of
its
free
will
hold
me
to
choose
to
be
self-evident,
that
all
men
are
created
equal.
D
B
D
B
D
B
A
B
A
So
we
will
call
on
consecutively:
stick
red,
Judith,
Garcia
will
bring
greetings,
but
then
afterwards,
we'll
have
honorable
state
senator
Sal
Domenico,
and
then
we
will
also
have
the
presentations
of
certificates
to
winners
of
essays
poem
and
artwork,
and
the
first
batch
from
the
first
school
will
be
given
the
the
state
senator
and
then
we'll
have
the
Kennedy
School
presented
by
director
Michelle
Cromwell
and
then
the
second
version
is
presented
by
Dean
Sharon,
Caulfield,
okay.
So
let's
put
our
hands
together
in
that
order.
K
Good
morning,
everyone
good
morning,
I
love
coming
here,
because
every
time
I
am
here,
I
remember
the
incredible
work
of
Martin
Luther
King,
but
also
of
the
Chelsea
black
community,
that
for.
K
Put
together
this
event
to
allow
kids
like
the
kids
who
were
here,
I
was
once
there
to
really
take
the
time
to
remember
the
Legacy
and
the
work
that
Martin
Luther
King,
along
with
other
civil
rights
leaders,
took
and
spearheaded.
So
we
could
be
here
today
and
when
I
think
of
this
day,
I
think
about
it
with
immense
gratitude,
because,
as
the
president
of
toasty
black
community
said,
don't
Cromwell
Martin
Luther
King
was
a
leader
who
believed
that
Injustice,
everywhere
or
anywhere
is
Injustice
for
all
and
I.
Think
that.
G
K
Reflect
upon
his
work,
we
should
never
forget
that
today
is
a
day
where
we're
all
being
challenged
to
make
today
A
Day
of
Service.
We
all
have
the
responsibility
to
do
the
right
thing
to
ensure
that
we
serve
in
any
way
that
we
can
in
our
communities
in
our
cities
and
our
neighborhoods,
so
as
I
think
about
Martin,
Luther,
King's,
Legacy,
I
think
about
the
work
that
we
as
individuals
could
be
doing,
to
make
sure
that
we
do
the
right
thing
not
only
for
the
black
and
brown
communities
but
for
everyone.
K
So
I
hope
to
continue
to
share
this
message
with
the
Next
Generation,
and
it's
been
a
special
warning
today.
Listening
to
our
kids
really
take
in
the
words
of
a
great
leader
like
Martin,
Luther
King,
so
I
look
forward
to
continue
to
do
this
work
now
as
a
state
representative,
because
we
have
the
great
responsibility
to
make
sure
that
every
policy
that
we
need
is
policy
that
focuses
in
equity.
So
thank
you
so
much
and
now
I
need
the
program
to
my
counterparts.
Senator
Sal
de
valenika,.
L
L
L
L
G
L
L
L
You
were
expected
to
refrain
from
any
hostile
act.
A
word
either
one
provokes
the
match
will
be
quiet,
ordering
and
serious
you're
expected
to
follow
the
instructions
of
the
trained
Marshals
who
are
identified
of
open
station,
regular
intervals
in
the
match
and
the
Marshalls
were
removed,
any
inappropriate
signs
or
any
appropriate
appropriate
behavior.
L
This
is
a
non-violent,
peaceful
protest
and
they
were
instructed
to
after
that
manner,
in
the
face
of
what
they
thought
were
they
what
they
saw
and
what
was
thrown
at
them
every
step
of
the
way
that
takes
courage,
folks
that
takes
The,
Power
Within
to
know
what
you're
doing
is
right
and
to
know.
If
you
don't
have
to
fight
back
the
way
they
were
fighting
back
because
they're,
the
ones
that
are
wrong,
not
you,
and
that
is
something
that
I
think
we.
You
know.
L
L
L
L
In
that
spot
because
they
want
to
put
their
part
of
History,
they
know
what
happened
that
day
and
how
important
that
speech
was
for
the
future
of
our
country
and
not
too
far
from
here
is
the
monument
to
Dr.
King.
Again,
you
see
young
little
like
lining
up,
take
pictures
in
front
of
this
stone
monument
this
imposing
monument
in
DC,
because
they
know
what
this
man
has
done
for
our
country
and
they
want
their
children
to
not
forget
what
he
has
done
for
our
country
and
I'm.
L
Just
happy
to
see
so
many
young
people
here
today,
because
your
next
leaders
that
it
came
to
carry
that
torch
of
Dr
King
I'm,
getting
old,
we're
all
getting
old.
You
are
the
Next
Generation,
that's
going
to
how
that
means
and
I
had
the
opportunity
in
the
honor
of
being
at
the
Embrace
Memorial
on
Friday
in
the
Boston
Common
and
I
have
the
honor
of
actually
meeting
Dr
Martin,
Luther,
King,
Jr
III
and
his
wife
Andrea,
and
the
guardiolanda.
L
L
L
And
after
I
use
the
recipients,
I
do
have
to
run
to
my
other
hometown
of
Cambridge
Reverend
Dr,
Ellis
Washington
knows
that
something
behind
cameras.
Yet
right
now
it's
actually
I'm
going
to
be
late
there,
but
it's
okay,
I'm
here
where
I
belong
as
well.
Chelsea
I
just
want
to
thank
all
of
you
for
being
here
and
for
living
for
giving
just
like
the
Academy
Award
music
time's
up
foreign.
L
L
L
L
L
B
J
A
We
should
now
have
a
special
selection,
a
dance
selection.
Please
put
your
hands
together.
I
saw
her
do
this
the
first
time
and
it
was
quite
inspiring
okay
and
sometimes
you'll.
You,
you
watch
and
and
listen
to
liturgical
dances,
but
I
tell
you
sometimes
it's
just
very,
very
real
and
I
think
her
presentation,
her
dance
is
absolutely
phenomenal
and
very
inspiring.
So
please
put
your
hands
together
for
sister
Celeste
William.
B
B
A
A
A
M
Hello
good
morning,
and
thank
you
everybody
for
being
here.
Thank
you.
Reverend
such
an
honor,
one
of
my
first
public
speaking
to
the
community
to
be
on
this
day
of
remembrance
you're
on
the
map
with
the
King
holiday.
I
was
thinking
about
this.
What
I
was
thinking
about
what
to
say
it's
really
different
than
any
other
holiday.
It's
not
a
single
a
day
like
independence
day
that
you
have
joy
for
the
day.
It's
not
even
a
day
to
pay
tribute
as
we
do.
M
Memorial
Day
with,
sadly,
is
only
looked
at
one
day:
it's
truly
a
holiday
that
is
a
self-reflection
of
365
days
of
your
life.
M
M
It
truly
is
that
in
unknowingly
to
most
people,
especially
young
people
is
I,
don't
think
people
realize
when
they
say
that
to
themselves
to
really
look
living,
Dr,
King's
vision
and
it
should
be
a
holiday
that
guides
us
every
day
of
Our
Lives,
not
just
thought
of
just
one
day
in
January.
It
was
so
true
what
was
his
mission?
M
There
was
one
of
inclusion,
non-violent
protests,
respect
and
the
rights
of
every
individual
truly
was
the
champion
that
we
were
all
equal
and
we
were
all
Americans
I've
heard
this
said
three
times
a
day,
Injustice
anywhere
there's
a
threat
to
Justice
everywhere,
and
we
talk
about
that
law
enforcement
because
I've
been
a
police
officer
here
in
Chelsea.
This
is
my
32nd
year.
We
need
to
change
the
tone.
Justice
is
not
arrest,
Justice
does
not
detaining
people,
Justice
is
fairness,
Justice
is
treating
people.
M
Dr
King's,
Vision
and
I'm
trying
to
make
that
happen
here
in
Chelsea,
I
think
it
is
it's
it's
truly
the
only
way
the
community
can
be
cohesive
and
work
together.
M
L
C
L
M
Chelsea
and
back
in
the
80s
that
people
may
have
remembered
The
Love
Boat.
Hopefully
we
cannot
make.
A
M
Make
that
fill
up
vote,
but
we
got
truly
all
in
the
same
boat.
I
grew
up
in
the
street
that
was
Multicultural.
We
looked
at
each
other
as
neighbors.
Never
looked
at
anything
else.
We
all
took
care
of
each
other,
we're
respectful
of
each
other
treat
each
other
with
dignity.
M
We
basically
live
his
vision,
and
that
is
so
important
and
we
all
need
to
do
that
every
single
day
it
happens
easily.
If
you
really,
you
know
from
your
heart,
it
doesn't
need
to
be
something
contrived
or
looked
at
just
on
a
single
day
again.
I
truly
believe
it's
a
365
day
of
reflection
and
this
community
is
so
great.
It's
been
great
to
me.
M
I
moved
away,
I
came
back,
I,
I,
truly
love
this
city,
I
love
bump
into
people,
Alan
I
bumped
into
a
moth,
is
getting
ahead
and
seen
Alan
Washington
in
years
at
such
a
great
day
of
remembering
and
having
fun
about
Chelsea,
it's
that's
what
Chelsea
is
I
honestly
think.
Nothing
short
is
I,
see
our
community
as
a
place
where
Dr
King
would
actually
be
proud
of
I
believe
he
would
say
from
high
above
that
Chelsea.
Listen
to
me,
the
people
of
Chelsea
Chelsea
has
learned
from
my
past
until
she
may.
M
M
And
I'm
very
honored
to
give
a
water
which
is
I'm,
usually
not
in
my
repertoire,
but
first
from
the
right
School
we're
giving
it
a
lot
of
from
the
right
School
Technology
Academy
and
there
was
a
Dr
Martin,
Luther
King
Jr
essay
contest
winner
and
it's
for
Christopher
Rodriguez.
M
M
A
I
C
C
B
C
C
Yes
tell
it
purposefully,
tell
it
intentionally
and
I
know
he
will
tell
you
gracefully
and
beautifully,
because
that's
how
Chelsea
Public
School
is
preparing
you
I
will
leave
you
with
a
saying
that
my
Jamaican
Grandma
used
to
have
me
recite
every
morning
before
I
go
to
school
and
the
Mantra
is
labor
for
learning
before
you
grow
old,
for
learning
is
better
than
silver
and
gold,
silver
and
gold
will
vanish
away,
but
a
good
education
will
never
Decay.
You
need
that
education.
B
A
B
B
A
A
G
Thank
you,
I'm,
going
to
make
this
short
and
sweet
on
the
back
of
the
program.
If
you
have
it,
you
will
see
a
well-detailed
bio
I'm,
just
going
to
say,
I've
had
a
fun
pleasing
pleasure
of
hearing
Dr
Washington
speak
at
my
church
and
across
the
Tabernacle
in
Cambridge
of
last
summer
on
August
the
7th
when
he
came
to
my
church
and
spoke
about
her
future
self,
tying
it
to
Dr
King
today.
G
I
fully
believe
that
Dr
King
had
a
firm
grasp
of
understanding,
not
only
his
future
self
but
the
future
of
this
nation,
and
so
there
are
some
conditions.
One
must
have
and
one
must
hold.
There
are
a
couple
of
points
that
Dr
Washington
is
going
to
share
with
you
all
right
quickly.
In
order
to
have
a
better
future,
you
must
have
your
future
self
in
charge.
I
believe
Dr
King
had
that
earned
out.
Well,
when
I
focused
on
my
future
I
make
better
decisions.
G
E
Well,
good
morning
still
morning,
allow
me
to
greet
you,
the
joy
of
our
God
and
the
Greet
you
in
the
spirit
of
freedom
and
Justice,
and
the
struggle
for
freedom
and
Justice,
because
they
don't
come
easy,
nor
is
it
cheap,
I'm
thankful
to
the
Reverend
Dr
George
Walters
Leon,
the
pastor
of
the
Chelsea
people,
saying
the
church
are
Chelsea
for
inviting
me
for
this
opportunity
to
share
with
you
this
morning.
This
is
actually
my
second
time
speaking
for
this
particular
event
and
I.
Just
guess.
Maybe
you
gave
me
another
chance
to
get
it
right.
E
E
To
all
of
the
young
people
who
won
their
Awards
or
their
certificates
for
their
participation,
let
me
just
shout
out
a
couple
people
first
and
foremost,
my
my
wife's
sister
named
Johnson
Washington,
is
with
me
and
I,
decided
to
probably
support
it.
I'm
so
thankful
that
she's
with
me
and
a
colleague
and
a
friend
of
the
brother
Pastor
Art
Gordon,
the
pastor
of
the
Saint
John
Missionary,
Baptist,
Church
and.
E
For
his
support,
I
know
this
has
been
quite
a
program,
so
I'm
going
to
try
to
make
sure
that
my
remarks
are
kind
of
short.
Okay.
Today,
I
wanted
to
speak
of
the
subject,
gospel
or
gaslighting
gospel
or
gaslighting.
E
Gaslighting
is
one
of
those
terms
that
has
made
it
into
the
word
of
the
year
in
the
Miriam
Webster's
Dictionary.
It
is
said
that
the
searches
for
the
word
gaslighting
Rose
by
1740,
and
so
people
have
been
trying
to
figure
out
what
is
gaslighting.
We
hear
people
talk
about
it
all
the
time.
Here's
the
definition
very
quickly.
E
D
G
E
B
D
B
G
E
Old
passage
and
dispute
the
power
and
to
remind
people
wrong,
shall
not
be
able
to
last
forever
and
it's
important
that
we
understand
both
threads
of
that
which
lifted
up
Dr
King,
so
that
when
we
hear
people
say
oh
I,
love
Dr
King,
we
can
critically
examine.
Are
you
doing
anything
to
further
his
message
and
to
make
real
the
goals
and
ideas
of
which
he
spoke?
A
E
Ethnicity,
no
matter
of
anything
that
people
use
to
try
to
suffer
in
this.
We
are
all
bound
together
as
human
beings
and
as
human
beings.
It
is
our
responsibility
for
all
of
us
to
work
for
the
benefit
of
each
other,
so
I
kind
of
call
this
the
gospel
of
the
garments,
because
the
Garment
is
that
which
reminds
us
of
how
we're
tied
together
and
the
good
news
is
that
none
of
us
that
can
really
reach
our
Heights.
A
A
Now
this
is
this,
is
I
took
in
the
five
appreciation,
but
also
I
mean
what
they've
been
doing.
You
know
it's.
There
is
a
saying,
give
a
person
a
flower
give.
A
Give
a
person
your
flower,
you
know
again,
but
we
want
to
do
that.
Okay,
he's
gonna
marvelous
work
in
Cambridge
in
Massachusetts
in
the
AME
Church
from
Atlanta.
Oh
you
know,
and
at
some
point
you
just
have
to
say
thank
you.
I
mean
you've
been
quite
inspiring.
A
A
So,
on
behalf
of
the
people
of
Chelsea
may
I
ask
they
are
superintendent
to
please
come
up
and
the
chief
of
police,
the
police
come
up
as
well,
and
the
CPC
folks
to
please
come
up
as
well,
and
people's
sister
Deborah
sister,
family
Dean.
Please
come
up
as
well
so
Pastor
Washington
on
behalf
of
all
of
us
here:
people's
AMD
CBC,
the
public
schools,
the
public
school,
the
police
department,
everyone
will
say,
congratulations.
We
are
very
much
grateful
for
your
life,
your
ministry
and
your
work
quite
inspiring.
A
B
A
A
B
E
B
B
B
B
B
B
A
Everyone
and
say
thank
you
to
everyone
and
before
you
come
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
to
everyone
as
well:
okay,
especially
the
CBC
people
system,
Beverly
and
gamble,
okay,
they
have
been
very,
very
helpful
and
everyone
else
that
has
been
a
part
of
this
medical
firm
people's
Ard
and
CBC
Etc.
Okay,
thank
you.
C
Very
great
program
and
I
hope
you
enjoyed
it.
It
was
just
a
pleasure
of
all
being
together
as
a
unified
party
from
the
people
of
Chelsea.
You
know
coming
together
to
celebrate
a
great
legacy.
Dr
Massa
state
union
I
just
want
to
thank
all
those
who
showed
up
the
school
department
for
partnering
with
us
on
this
crime
CDC
who
participated
all
the
singings,
the
students,
everyone
you
just
say.
Thank
you
and
many
times
he
used
to
continue
to
bless
you
best
wishes
into
the
new
year.
Thank
you.
A
B
A
A
So,
let's
put
our
hands
together
for
the
Chelsea
Public
Schools.
A
B
B
B
B
H
Dear
Lord
and
our
God,
we
praise
and
thank
you
joyfully
for
this
time.
Together,
remembering
your
servant,
Martin
Luther,
King
Jr.
Thank
you
for
letting
us
gather
here
in
person
to
keep
his
wisdom
alive
and
to
keep
us
all
safe.
In
doing
so,
we
have
experienced
the
blessedness
of
one
another's
company
today
and
we
are
grateful.
H
The
psalmist
has
said
both
hold
how
good
and
pleasant
it
is
when
Kendrick
live
in
unity,
we
are
blessed
to
have
had
an
inspiration
from
our
speakers,
wisdom
from
our
officials
and
Community
leaders.
We
have
heard
the
beautiful
singing
of
our
children
and
youth
heard
their
dreams
and
essays
all
together
as
a
community.
Truly,
we
are
grateful
for
these
moments.
These
glimpses
now
and
then
of
the
Beloved
Community
that
you
intend
for
all
of
us
that.
H
Color
economic
status,
Grace,
gender
identity,
background
sexual
preference,
religion
and
even
politics,
anything
that
causes
us
to
treat
one
another
as
less
than
human
for
Our
Gospel
urges
us.
Otherwise,
let
us
go
forward,
then,
with
the
blessing
based
on
Paul's
letter
to
the
Romans
go
out
into
the
world
with
peace,
let
love
be
genuine
hate.
What
is
evil
and
hold
fast
to?
What
is
good
love
one
another
rejoice
in
Hope,
be.
