A
Hello,
everybody:
this
is
Carrie
Shulman
on
behalf
of
Chelsea
community
cable
television.
We
are
at
an
outstanding
event
at
the
Homewood
Suites
Hotel,
and
we
have
the
two
main
women
here:
ceratin
Rizzuto
hostess
and
from
the
xs/s
hotels
in
the
Rotary
Club
President
Ma,
reen,
Foley,
ceratin
Rizzuto.
You've
done
it
again.
Another
outstanding
event
here
well.
B
You
know
this
doesn't
happen
on
its
own.
I
am
very
happy
to
have
partnered
with
the
Cohen
hotels
and
with
Maureen
Foley
from
the
Chelsea
Rotary
Club
and
the
Cohen
hotels,
and
that's
how,
on
top
of
our
committees,
that's
how
it
became
a
successful
evening.
So
thank
you
guys
for
coming.
I,
truly
appreciate
the
support
of
this
community.
I,
truly
appreciate
the
support
of
Maureen
here.
Who's
helped
me
really
spearhead
this
effort.
This
is
an
annual
event.
Last
year
it
benefited
the
Boys
and
Girls
Club
of
Chelsea.
B
It
benefits
a
local
organization
every
year
and
we've
been
doing
the
event
for
10
years
now
it
started
in
my
backyard
in
Lynn
and
we've
brought
it
to
Chelsea.
It's
been
happening
in
Chelsea
for
the
last
I
want
to
say
six
years,
but
don't
quote
me
on
that.
Let's
hear
from
one
of
our
main
supporters:
Maureen
Foley
from
the
Chelsea
Rotary
Club
in
xs/s,
hotel,
Thank.
C
B
The
event
is
the
benefit
Capet,
which
has
been
around
for
over
50
years,
doing
great
work
and
serving
the
community
of
Chelsea
Winthrop
and
Revere,
and
it's
also
going
to
benefit
education
for
all
new
organization
out
of
the
East
Boston
social
center
umbrella,
that
supports
Chelsea
students,
Chelsea
people
and
has
been
supporting
students
of
Chelsea
with
scholarships
and
funds
for
school
supplies.
Bus
passes
and
lunch
money
for
probably
about
eight
years.
So
thank
you
again
to
all
of
you
tuning
in
to
the
community
of
Chelsea
for
its
support
and
everyone.
A
Ricki
we
were
looking
forward
to
this
event:
there'll
be
food
and
fun,
and
speeches
and
entertainment.
So,
let's
start
at
the
viewing
people.
Okay,
all
right
come
on
in
here,
counselor
at
large,
Leo
Robinson,
and
he
has
with
him
the
executive
director
of
Capet,
one
of
the
benefactors
of
tonight's
event.
Mr.
Robinson
president
of
the
Kappa
creel
Estate
Board,
as
well.
What
a
great
organization,
let's
start
with
topic,
well.
D
Capping
is
a
very
good
organization.
My
ties
go
back
to
Kappa,
along
with
Bob
to
1972,
when
I
first
came
back
from
the
Vietnam
War
to
some
roots,
hammerin
and
the
city
of
Chelsea,
and
we've
had
a
wonderful
relationship.
Tortillas
Bob
and
his
people
do
excellent
work.
You
know
what
Head
Start
and
the
after
school
programs
and
weatherization
fuel
assistants
and
all
kind
all
kinds
of
issues
you
you
have
issues
the
best
place
to
get
those
issues
solve
call
CAPA.
D
A
E
Thanks
Kerry,
so
you
know,
you've
always
been
a
stand-up
guy
covering
all
these
things
and
we
thank
you
very
much
for
everything
you
do
so
I'm
Catholic
through
a
51
years
in
eradicate
poverty,
huge
task,
thousands
have
escaped
poverty
as
a
result
of
these
strategies
that
we've
developed
over
the
years,
the
assistance
has
been
provided.
Leo,
Robinson,
Chelsea's
greatest
asset,
he's
a
fighter.
He
understands
what
people
need
in
order
to
move
to
the
next
step.
So
this
is
the
route
we
try
to
take.
We
try
to
give
people
hope
and
encouragement.
E
D
E
Ceratin
rizzuto
is
a
remarkable
person
she's
the
most
committed
person
that
we
know
to
community
services.
She's
got
compassion,
she's
got
the
heart
and
the
soul,
the
dedication
she's
a
wonderful
asset
for
Chelsea
and
we're
deeply
grateful
for
her
doing
this
organizing
this
event.
We
had
our
last
event
here
five
years
ago,
so
we're
not
an
organization
that
comes
out
annually
to
try
to
raise
funds
so
to
do
this.
Every
five
years
is
really
a
big
deal
for
us
and
we
owe
her
a
debt
of
our
gratitude
of
your
staff
is
here
tonight.
We
do.
A
A
F
F
The
mobile
outreach
unit
we
go
out
throughout
the
city
of
Chelsea
and
we
provide
resources
to
those
that
are
in
need
that
are
homeless
and
with
or
without
substance,
use
the
substance,
disorder,
wraparound
services.
We
work
closely
with
the
navigators
in
Chelsea
and
we
also
provide
you
know
whatever
resources
they
may
need
whatting.
F
F
A
G
H
I
J
I
J
Who
is
Roy
balance
and
sister?
Hopefully
you
know
yeah
of
course,
so
it's
a
small
world,
you
know
and
a
great
job
that
did
they
do
to
raise
funding
for
the
capric
here
tonight.
Obviously
we
know
capric
does
some
great
work
here
in
the
community
I'm
familiar
with
the
fuel
assistance
program
that
they've
worked
on
in
years.
They've
helped
a
lot
of
people
in
need
and
they
have
another
a
number
of
other
other
programs
that
they
do.
I
Of
law
going
it's
it's
great,
so
I
know
if
cake,
because
I
my
off
is
actually
right.
Next
to
capping,
but
I
do
a
lot
of
court-appointed
work
and
I
have
a
lot
of
clients
who
cap
ik
assists
with
either
hoppin
those
sometimes
to
go
to
court,
be
listed,
it's
payees
for
them.
So
it's
really
great
that
tonight
we're
gonna
be
hopefully
raising
a
lot
of
money
to
help
them,
and
we
have
a
lot
of
really
great
raffles
and
silent
auction.
So
in.
I
A
K
K
It's
great
to
be
here:
they've
been
great
partners.
We
worked
with
them
for
a
number
of
years
now
and
helping
enroll
patients
provide
information
about
the
health
center,
but
also
helping
people
with
insurance
questions
and
the
work
that
they
do
in
this
community
and
the
surrounding
areas
is
just
phenomenal.
Was
so
happy
and
I'm
happy
to
be
here,
buddies.
A
K
A
L
A
M
Doing
great
it's
doing
great.
We
have
three
schools
and
about
600
kids
going
to
school
every
day
in
Chelsea,
our
flagship
school
at
Bunker,
Hill
campus
in
Lawrence
and
in
Springfield
Massachusetts,
and
while
we
had
a
rough
time
in
Lawrence
at
the
beginning
of
the
year,
along
with
the
city
because
of
the
gas
explosions
and
tragically,
we
lost
one
of
our
students
there.
M
A
N
A

O
O
O
A
P
P
Rizzuto
is
the
Energizer
Bunny
she's
involved
in
so
many
great
initiatives
and
organizations,
and
she
does
a
lot
of
good
work
and
I
committed
we're
lucky
to
have
her
and
capric.
You
know
we
all
know
what
they
do
in
this
community.
Barbara
Pucci
and
his
whole
team
do
a
great
job
for
so
many
people-
and
you
know
we
need
good
community
partners
to
keep
all
these
old
good
things
that
are
happening
and
Chelsea
is
on
the
move
and
a
lot
of
stuff
happening
here.
Doing.
A
P
A
P
About
that,
every
football
team
looks
good,
they
look
great
yeah
I
know
that
they
have
another
great
season,
but
you
know
and
we're
happy
to
support
Chelsea
I.
Could
you
know
athletics
as
well,
because
you
know
anytime
any.
We
can
go
out
there
and
put
themselves
out
there
and
practice
and
put
a
lot
of
effort
into
it.
We
want
to
recognize
that
and
thank
them
for
all
that.
Thank
you
very
much.
I
pledge
them
and
we
love
Chelsea.
Okay,.
A
R
Q
Q
A
Q
No,
it's
changed
over
my
33
years.
It's
evolved,
but
it's
evolved
in
a
good
way
based
on
community
needs
and
set
up
being
us
against
them.
It's
together
together,
policing,
I
call
it
that
you
work
with
the
community
we're
in
the
80s.
It
was.
We
were
the
law
and
there
was
order.
That
was
it.
So
it's
changed
for
the
good.
Q
Q
S
Are
you
doing
good
and
all
the
people
Chelsea
I,
just
want
to
say
hi
to
all
my
constituents
you
know
of
all
Chelsea,
especially
in
the
fifth
district.
You
know
it's
really
great
for
me
to
be
here
with
Carrie,
of
course,
and
I
just
want
to
also
say
hi
to
my
mom
and
she's.
Watching.
Oh,
but
ya,
know
you
know
it's.
It's
I'm
really
glad
to
be
here.
You
know
this
fundraiser
means
a
lot
for
CAPA
and
education
for
all
and
we
will
keep
on
you
know
working
hard
to
keep
them
up
and
strong.
You.
S
S
It's
an
amazing
school.
You
know,
I
went
to
the
Clark
when
I
was
in
middle
school.
I
saw
a
lot
of
my
former
teachers.
I
really
wish.
I
had
the
technology
and
resources
they
have
now,
but
you
know
that
school
is
amazing,
like
I
can't
believe
it
was
even
possible,
but
you
know
we
we
did
it
and
that's
that's
the
the
biggest
accomplishment
for
the
city
of
Chelsea
continued.
T
U
A
A
W
W
Yes,
well,
we
did
something
a
store
akin
the
City
Council
was
oh,
it's
the
first.
In
this
stage
we
passed
the
water
bill
for
the
homeowners
which
will
get
water
and
sewer
they
do
it
for
the
seniors,
but
never
for
homeowners.
So
this
would
be
the
first
one
in
the
state
where
the
homeowners
in
July
for
everything
goes
well.
We'll
get
10%
off
the
water
and
sewer,
which
is
nobody.

C
B
Good
evening,
everyone
again
thank
you
for
making
this
event
the
success
that
it
is
every
year
really
appreciate.
All
of
you
coming
we're
going
to
start
the
program
as
Maureen
said,
and
we
want
to
get
over
to
the
stage
senators
out
the
Dominical
didn't
develop
any
more
lives.
Thank
you
for
joining
us.
P
You
know
it's
important
for
us
to
remember,
and
particularly
now,
what's
going
on
around
us
and
stand
up
for
each
other,
we
have
to
help
each
other.
You
have
to
make
sure
that
the
people
that
need
help
the
most
know
that
there's
a
band
ever
people
behind
them
and
they
have
a
voice
and
have
people
that
know
how
it
is
to
help
each
other.
P
You
know
in
Santa,
Mizuno
Basara
she's
our
success
story
of
she's
not
outside
Santa
is
the
Energizer
Bunny,
as
we
all
know,
she's
involved
in
so
many
activities,
organizations
charitable
events
and
the
one
constant
that
the
one
theme
that
you
know
a
Sarah
to
me.
She's,
always
there
help
others.
She
puts
others
before
herself,
she's
always
working
hard
to
help
me
show
them
and
I,
don't
know
how
much
time
is
in
the
day,
because
her
Day
is
on
24
hours
and
I.
Think
our
family
for
sharing
her
with
us
as
well.
P
Something
education
colleges
there
may
be
making
educational
opportunities
for
everybody,
not
just
a
select
few
and
for
Barbra
Jean.
My
good
friend
Bob.
Whenever
there's
an
issue
in
his
communities
when
there's
a
fire
or
people
need
help,
artisan
virtus
situation
show
they
need
food
clothing,
housing,
Catholic,
step,
stop
and
Bob
is
in
the
front
line
every
day
when
other
people
are
trying
to
help
Bob's
actually
doing
the
work
he
talks
to
talked
and
he
walks
the
walk
and
I
would.
P
Smita
not
gonna
tell
you,
we
get
a
lot
of
calls
and
emails
in
the
Statehouse
and
we
got
a
lot
of
people
who
haven't
cared
for
a
lot
of
issues
and
Sarah
to
him.
Bob,
I'm,
tenacious,
tenacious
I
have
one
emails
from
Bob
than
any
other
person
in
my
entire
district
and
it
always
emails
to
make
sure
that
we
don't
forget
to
help
the
people
in
our
communities.
So
we
don't
hear
from
all
like
a
little
nervous,
because
that
means
that
it's
only
two
good
but
Bob
isn't
really
there.
P
B
B
B
B
R
Z
Catholic,
usually
is
able
to
provide
some
help,
so
the
city
has
become
so
dependent
upon
Catholic
and
it's
their
successes
due
to
the
incredible
work
of
not
only
bar
is
a
fabulous
executive
director
but
they're
incredibly
hard-working
staff.
They
are
always
looking
to
improve
the
lives
of
economically
disadvantaged
and.
Z
E
So,
fifty-one
years
ago,
Kevin
was
established
for
the
purpose
of
eradicating
poverty
cachexia
a
lofty
challenge
we're
still
at
it.
Today.
The
mission
was
pretty
clear:
it
was
to
eradicate
poverty.
It
was
to
to
determine
what
the
causes
our
poverty
in
this
particular
geographic
area.
Without
populations,
we
went
to
determine
the
barriers
to
identify
the
barriers
that
keep
becoming
self-sufficient.
So
what
about
learning
that
those
were
in
developing
strategies?
E
A
good
example
is
providing
developing
daycare
childcare,
full-time,
affordable
childcare
for
parents,
attend
school
job
training
award
full
time
to
develop
headstart
program,
to
develop
programs
that
provide
access
to
health
care
for
people
that
don't
have
access
to
be
able
to
provide
housing,
stable
quality,
affordable
housing
that
people
that
are
homeless.
So
thousands
of
people
participated
in
these
programs
over
the
years
and
many
asking
the
public
there's
so
many
many
thousands
every
recipe.
So
just
in
Chelsea
brand
weather
today
there
were
six
thousand
households
that
are
at
risk
for
housing
displacement.
So
that's
incredible!
E
E
Kevin
good
state,
back
two
years
ago
we
solicited
information
from
some
2000
respondents.
We
found
that
33%
of
everybody
that
respond
to
the
survey
on
house
indicated
that
that
was
spending
in
excess
of
fifty
percent
of
their
income.
So
you
can
see
the
first
calamity
that
happens
when
someone's
life
is
probably
moving
to
cause
them
to
be
displaced
from
house.
E
Local
municipalities,
funny
interest
is
to
work
for
help.
You
turn
to
you,
and
this
is
where
you
come
in.
It's
developing
collaborations
its
incubating
ideas
and
businesses
and
using
our
resources
with
our
resources
to
be
able
to
get
the
job
done.
What
is
the
job?
It's?
Basically,
the
message
that
we
try
to
do
is
we
want
people
to
have
hope,
so
you
don't
have
to
be
a
false
hope.
We
want
it
to
be
a
real
home
with
a
real
opportunity.
It
doesn't
mean
to
all
them
all
the
persons
and
families
household
problems.
E
E
You
know
if
we
utilize
certain
tools,
certain
basic
tools
and
it
costs
money
that
we
can
help
people
leave
body
achieve
self-sufficiency,
so
when
capital
owner
about
a
hundred
twenty
people,
so
that
work
there
and
many
of
the
people
are
working
now
they
work
for
fathers
given
a
job
opportunity.
They
were
able
to
escape
that
situation.
So
we
need
you,
we
need
to
do
donations.
We
need
your
support.
We
need
the
leadership,
your
ideas
and
Creed
creativity,
so
that
brings
us
to
thank
you.
E
Thank
you,
everything
that
you
do,
because
you
are
our
partners,
they're
our
collaborators
and
want
to
thank
all
the
sponsors
that
came
out
tonight.
The
light
of
these
great
gifts
that
silent
auction
that
some
funds
raised
we
want
to
thank
best
city
manager,
Chelsea
city
manager.
Tell
me
with
you
know,
just
an
incredible
source
of
energy
inspiration.
E
It
was
trust
me
working
through
this
confident
even
were
that
we
do
and
he's
believable
he
gets
it.
We
have
more
remarkable
state,
senator
zeldin
Abednego.
This
man
is
shepherded
through
a
special
appropriation
for
Catholic.
Now,
for
the
past
five
years
that
special
appropriation
that
we
utilize,
the
two
people
in
housing
that
this
place-
first
month's
rent,
the
last
ones,
renter
security,
deposit,
Tommy
Medina-
has
been
behind
the
major
changes
in
Chelsea
as
it
pertains
to
people
that
have
had
another
yeah,
we
have
a
great
builder
special
on
South
America.
E
He
also
against
this
he's
he's
somebody
that
is
determined
and
the
stands,
the
complex
problems
that
families
have
family
man
and
as
a
result
in
evidence
he
trusts
us.
Also
without
his
support
we
would
not
be
able
to
do
the
world
were
doing
today.
You
have
an
Italian
delegation
of
elected
officials
that
are
incredible
in
this
area.
Probably
you
should
they're
really
incredible
people
Dan
Ryan
speak
at
the
Leo
right
through.
E
And
never
forgotten
the
community
remains
here.
He
understands
the
problems
and
every
day
he
delivers
good
City
Council's
here
this
year.
I
know
Giovanni
is
here:
Joe
is
here.
These
are.
These.
Are
people
that
truly
understand
the
problems
that
Joseph
faces
and
they're
applying
the
creativity
to
solve
the
problems
together
with
us?
E
So
last
the
same
as
last
but
not
least,
17
is
the
most
remarkable
person
that
I
know.
She
really
truly
is
she's
she's.
Not
only
this
remarkable,
a
family
person,
lovely
husband,
David,
she
is
the
most
dedicated
conscientious
person.
She
has
a
heart
of
compassion
for
everyone
and
she
also
was
a
great
asset
to
Chelsea,
so
Sarah
team.
Thank
you
very
much.

AA
AA
We
are
so
thankful
to
have
this
awesome
people
this
awesome
turnout
here
tonight
and
to
be
raising
funds
for
capping
who
in
turn
turns
around
and
helps
provide
neat
helps,
provide
services
to
need
needy
people
in
our
neighborhood
helps
provide
services
to
people
who
need
heat
and
housing
and
emergency
services,
and
we've
been
doing
this
for
51
years
and
with
the
help
of
the
local
politicians
and
our
friends
up
at
the
up
at
the
Statehouse.
We
continue
to
do
this.
AA
We
want
to
continue
to
do
this
for
another
50
years,
because
programs
like
ours,
probably
programs
like
the
nonprofit's,
are
going
by
the
wayside,
and
this
there's
never
a
shortage
of
people
who
are
need
and
Chelsey
Revere
and
Winthrop
and
all
over
the
country.
So
you
really
have
to
have
you
really
have
to
give
a
voice
to
those
people
who
don't
have
a
voice
and
I
want
to
thank
ceratin
again
for
giving
us
this
wonderful
night
tonight
here
as
a
fundraiser?
Thank
you
so
much.
Okay,.

being
here
all
right,
come
on
in
Joe,
okay,
I
feel
honored
to
be
with
this
distinguished
group.
They
are
the
hotel
group,
that's
for
sure
and
Chelsea
Maureen
Foley
I'm,
turning
the
mic
over
to
you,
because
you're
good
at
organizing
you're,
the
president
of
rotary
and
you
have
to
key
it
Christmas.
He
is
here
and
Joe
and
the
whole
group.
Good
luck.
Thank.
AE
Everybody
thank
you
very
much
for
being
here.
This
is
a
great
event,
great
opportunity
for
Chelsea
and
hope
that
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
and
get
a
lot
more
members
as
fabless
whoops.
