Because
the
debit
cards
themselves
will
not
be
available
until
the
end
of
october,
we
are
extending
the
city's
food
pantry
lines
until
the
end
of
october.
The
last
day
of
the
food
pantries
will
be
friday
october,
the
30th
starting
next
week.
We
are
going
to
be
reducing
the
number
of
days
of
the
food
pantries
from
five
days
a
week
to
three
days
a
week,
that'll
be
starting
next
week
the
holiday
week,
but
because
next
monday
is
a
holiday,
there
will
be
no
food
pantry
that
day,
monday
october
12th.
B
A
Free
coven
19
testing
remains
widely
available
in
the
city
and
we
encourage
all
residents
to
get
tested
for
the
remainder
of
october.
Walk-Up
testing
will
occur
at
chelsea
city
hall,
each
weekday
from
2
p.m,
until
6
pm
and
from
11
to
5
on
both
saturdays
and
sundays.
That's
in
front
of
city
hall
in
chelsea
square
mobile
testing
will
occur
monday,
wednesday
and
thursdays
from
1
to
5
and
tuesdays
from
10
to
2..
A
A
A
The
best
approach
we
can
take
is
to
continue
to
practice
the
good
habits
that
made
it
possible
to
reduce
dramatically
the
number
of
cases
we
had
in
the
spring.
That
means
wearing
a
face
covering
a
mask
at
all
times
in
public,
maintain
at
all
times,
good
physical,
distancing
from
others
wash
your
hands
thoroughly
and
regularly.
During
the
course
of
the
day,
these
simple
behaviors
have
proven
extraordinarily
effective
in
reducing
the
spread
of
cobit
19.
B
B
A
Also,
I
strongly
encourage
people
to
avoid
large
gatherings,
even
large
gatherings
of
family
members
or
people
with
whom
you're
familiar
the
governor's
order,
prohibits
large
indoor
gatherings
of
more
than
25
persons
and
large
outdoor
gatherings
of
more
than
50
persons
and
any
indoor
gathering
of
more
than
10
people
not
of
the
same
household.
That
requires
that
you
wear
your
mask
even
indoors.
B
A
One
circumstance
in
which
we
have
seen
infections
spread
is
in
travel
to
work,
particularly
among
persons
who
are
carpooling
together
to
a
single
work
site
if
you're
carpooling
with
others.
Please
practice
precautions
by
wearing
a
mask
at
all
times
in
the
vehicles
and
keeping
windows
in
the
vehicle
open
as
much
as
possible.
A
This
past
week
to
help
people
facing
housing
problems,
we
did
launch
our
new
chelsea
housing
legal
clinic.
Any
chelsea
resident
who
is
having
trouble
with
the
landlord
on
a
rental
issue
or
facing
any
type
of
eviction,
can
contact
this
legal
clinic
for
legal
assistance
for
low-income
residents.
There
is
no
cost
for
this
service.
The
number
to
call
is
617
603,
1700
monday,
wednesday
and
friday
9
to
12
noon
and
tuesdays
and
thursdays
12
30
to
3
30.
B
B
A
Finally,
I
do
want
to
remind
all
residents
that,
because
of
some
recent
court
rulings,
there
is
still
time
to
do
the
2020
census.
So
far,
only
656
percent
of
chelsea
residents
have
responded.
Please
complete
the
census
as
soon
as
possible
by
visiting
my2020census.gov
today
or
you
can
stop
by
city
hall
for
assistance
in
filling
out
the
senses.
