Description
City of Chelsea
A
Secondly,
I'd
like
to
recognize
our
city
leadership,
as
I
would
not
have
been
able
to
do
much
if
it
were
not
for
the
quick
action
and
teamwork
in
response
to
an
unforeseen
crisis,
and
that
support
was
key
in
being
able
to
continue
services
and
helping
our
veterans
feel
supported
through
this
pandemic
from
the
city
manager's
office
and
the
city
council,
who
provided
early
guidance
during
the
crisis
to
dpw
311
and
the
food
distribution
center.
Who
were
critical
in
coordinating
direct
food
to
home
deliveries.

A
Presentation,
I
know
the
family,
I
know
angel,
you
know
when
he
was
a
single
bachelor
and
now
you
know
beautiful
child
has
come
out
to
do
this
presentation.
You
know
I
don't
need
to
date,
myself.
E
Thank
you
director,
francisco
torres,
thank
everybody
for
you
all
for
being
here
this
morning.
B
E
Memorial
day
goes
back
to
the
19th
century,
where
folks
have
lost
their
friends,
they
were
related
loved
ones
and
our
civil
war
started
to
decorate
the
graves
over
time.
Throughout
the
years
it
became
an
initial
day
that
we
recognized
as
decorated
day
after
world
war.
One
all
americans
adopted
this
data,
we
celebrate
as
memorial
remembering
the
past.
Those
are
still
here:
the
gold
star
mothers
who
family
members
have
gave
the
ultimate
sacrifice
for
our
freedom
for
our
country.
E
E
The
sacrifice
that
we
all
encounter
by
letting
our
loved
ones
go
off
to
wars.
Come
back
from
wars,
try
to
offer
them
assistance,
but
today,
I'm
here
to
do
a
task
to
give
an
invocation-
and
I
want
to
thank
francisco
for
allowing
me
to
be
here,
but
I
just
wanted
to
say
that,
because
sometimes
we
come
up,
we
speak.
We
go
back
to
our
seats
and
we
really
don't
understand
a
bit
of
the
history
of
memorial
day.
E
So
let
us
not
only
reflect
today
at
the
day
of
prayer,
but
also
a
day
of
honoring
those
that
have
went
on
and
gave
the
ultimate
sacrifice.
Let
us
pray
father
god.
Thank
you,
lord,
for
this
opportunity
to
be
with
you
today,
as
we
recognize
this
day
that
has
been
set
aside
and
has
years
ago
lord,
when
our
loved
one
was
sent
off
to
wars
and
different
foreign
nations
lord
to
fight
for
this
country.
We
thank
you
for
the
sacrifice.
The
ultimate
sacrifice
that
many
have
made
lord,
we.
F
E
Thank
you
for
those
that's
here
today
who
are
veterans,
those
just
living
still
through
those
those
conditions
that
they
not
endured.
Lord,
we
pray
father
god
for
the
family
members
lord.
We
pray
for
our
nation
as
we
continue
to
wrap
our
arms
around
our
returning
veterans.
Lord,
we
just
thank
you,
lord
for
this
service.
We
thank
you
for
the
city
of
chelsea,
where
we
have
set
aside
this
opportunity
to
embrace
each
and
every
veteran
that
we
know
of
lord.
We
pray
father
god
that
we
will
be
blessed
today
by
veteran
robert
knox.
E
E
G
Thank
you,
everyone
for
joining
us
on
this
song
and
I
want
to
recognize
some
of
the
officials
that
are
here
today.
We
do
have,
as
you
saw
just
earlier,
constantly
kyle
brown.
We
have
the
council
of
the
robinson
department
of
veteran
council
taylor,
council
cocktail.
I
see
you
guys
with
us.
I
see
school
for
me.
G
Sorry,
jimenez
and
rosemary
constable,
recupero
and
counselor.
B
G
G
Unfortunately,
there
were
some
building
the
the
bridge,
but
that
statue
still
remains
and
in
front
of
city
hall,
along
with
the
statues
that
are
on
that.
That
was
a
circle
of
spanish
war
and
vietnam
right
outside
a
hallway
you'll
see
if
you
pay
attention
the
faces
and
the
plaques
of
those
who
served
in
world
war
one
and
many
times
I'm
staring
at
those
faces.
You
see
how
young
those
individuals
were,
but
they
gave
their
lives
to
this
country
and
never
came
back
to
their
wonder
chelsea.
G
H
H
H
It's
such
a
pleasure
to
just
be
having
some
public
gathering
and
celebration
has
been
so
long
since
we
had
the
opportunity
to
enjoy
days
and
events
like
that,
and
I
could
think
of
no
better
reason
for
coming
together
than
to
celebrate
and
pay
honor
and
tribute
to
the
men
and
women
of
our
military,
particularly,
of
course,
those
who
gave
their
lives
and
service
to
our
country.
Adapt
to
them,
of
course,
is
immeasurable.
H
H
So
I
guess
for
the
next
hour.
I
just
ask
that
we
really
think
long
and
hard
about
these
men
and
women
who
serve
us
in
this
important
capacity,
so
honorably
put
themselves
in
harmony.
Let's
thank
them
for
their
incredible
service
to
this
country
and,
let's
pray,
let's
really
pray
that
they
stay
out
of
harm's
way
and
that
all
of
them
can
return
home
safely
here
to
their
families
in
america.
H
A
Bless
thank
you
to
all
very
much
for
that
presentation
and
with
that
it's
beautiful
tradition,
the
school
department
and
their
participation
with
this
particular
event
being
close
to
impossible
to
really
complete
this
event
without
their
efforts
on
getting
the
young
people
together,
the
practices,
the
teachers,
the
staff
so-
and
I
worked
with
the
previous
superintendent
and
I
report
for
the
whole
time
I've
been
here
so
I'd
like
to
take
this
opportunity
to
present
our
new
superintendent
for
the
school
department
and
when
I
say
new,
just
the
first
time,
she's
participated
here
at
this
event,.
I
B
I
B
I
I
J
J
Good
morning,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
my
name
is
justin,
and
now
I
will
be
reading
the
governor's
memorial
day
proclamation,
whereas,
while
the
nation
was
still
recovering
from
the
horrors
of
the
civil
war,
people
in
cities
and
towns
across
the
country
gathered
honored.
Those
union
and
confederate
soldiers
who
had.
J
Celebrating
the
first
decoration
day
and
whereas
after
world
war,
one,
the
nation
came
together
again
to
honor
those
who
had
fallen
in
the
service
of
their
country
renamed
memorial
day.
The
last
monday
in
may
is
when
people
remember
and
honor
the
memory
of
all
the
men
and
women
who
have
fought
and
died
in
all
american
wars
and
and
whereas,
throughout
our
country's
history,
thousands
of
massachusetts.
Citizens
have
fought
in
wars
and
conflicts
to
defend
our
safety
and
way
of
life
and.
F
B
A
You
can
see
how
often
I
go
across
that
bridge
right,
but
it
was
seeing
you
know
the
type
of
community
that
they
created.
You
know.
Often
anybody
can
write
in
their
business
name
community,
but
when
I
got
out
there
I
really
saw
that
and
I
saw
how
it
was
serving
veterans
on
so
many
different
levels,
and
it
definitely
you
know
impressed
me
when
I
was
done
checking
and
looking
at
the
whole
facility.
A
F
Representative
ryan
and
superintendent
johnson,
thank
you
for
being
here.
I
want
to
thank
city
manager,
librazino
and
council
president
avianeta
and
all
the
council
members
that
are
here.
I'm
sorry
capture,
everybody's
name
got
a
great
council
appreciate
everybody
showing
up
today,
and
I
also
want
to
thank
francisco
for
inviting
me
to
come
here
and
speak
today.
F
Over
the
years,
I've
had
this
solemn
responsibility
to
notify
families
of
their
loss
to
me,
play
drake
coffin
at
an
airport
and
guide
a
family
through
army
army
bureaucracy
to
settle
personal
affairs,
and
I've
presented
flags,
folded,
flags
to
parents
or
spouses.
On
behalf
of
the
president,
a
grateful
nation,
no
one
will.
B
F
F
And
honor,
I
think,
back
to
the
effort
and
sacrifice
of
the
families
of
massachusetts
who
joined
in
the
effort
to
declare
independence
from
england
and
start
a
new
country,
a
country
of
by
and
for
the
people
from
then.
Until
now,
massachusetts
remembers
their
own
who
have
fallen
in
military
service,
the
37
342
individuals
who
have
given
their
lives
in
establishing
and
preserving
the
blessings
of
liberty
for
all
of
us.
F
I
feel
privileged
to
be
here
in
massachusetts.
I'm
not
a
massachusetts
native.
You
could
probably
don't
to
walk
within
that
history
right
here
on
this
ground,
chelsea
in
the
declaration
of
independence
from
england
to
be
part
of
a
community.
That
cares
enough
to
know
that
specific
number
that
ever
changing
number.
I
B
F
F
F
F
F
F
F
F
F
I
do
solemnly
swear
that
I
will
support
and
defend
the
constitution
of
the
united
states
against
all
enemies,
foreign
and
domestic,
that
I
will
bear
true
faith
and
allegiance.
To
the
same
that
I
will
obey
the
wars
of
the
president
of
the
united
states
and
the
orders
of
the
officers
appointed
over
me.
F
Each
of
us
knew,
if
only
in
the
back
of
our
minds
that
this
oath
meant
we
were
willing
to
give
our
life
for
the
person
next
to
us,
for
our
families
back
home
for
fellow
citizens,
that
we've
never
met
for
ideas,
written
on
four
pages
of
parchment.
That
established
the
government
of
our
nation,
a
nation
where
we
all
have
a
voice,
a
nation
where
all
of
us
are
created
equal
with
fundamental
rights
and
privileges.
F
F
B
A
Sometimes
it's
hard
to
really
recognize,
there's
so
many
people
that
don't
really
understand
what's
brought
us
to
memorial
day,
and
I
think
that
that
presentation
that
we
embody
that,
thank
you
so
much
bob
is
double
booked
today,
so
you
might
be
leaving
a
little
early
and
just
thank
you
so
much.
A
A
He
came
to
me
this
morning
and
he
definitely
presented
a
very
poignant.
A
A
K
Thank
you
francisco
good
morning.
What
do
you
want
to
tell
the
elected
representatives
here
at
appointment
few
folks,
who
are
no
veterans
or
relatives
of
ethics,
while
folks
have
interacted
with
those
who
passed
away
to
combat
operations?
I
am
back
in
the
early
90s.
I
came
hello.
K
I
came
to
chelsea
for
a
meeting
at
chelsea
city
hall.
I
was
working
with
statement
and
we
were
walking
in
a
building.
There
was
a
stone
outside
and
it
said
a
good
officer
I
stopped
and
he
was
like
what's
wrong.
I
said
I
sent
him
to
vietnam
and
since
that
day,
every
memorial
day,
I've
come
to
chelsea,
usually
around
6
30
seven
in
the
morning,
just
to
make
our
respects
going
outside
a
few
minutes
again.
My
parents
drago
at
the
ashland
how
that
came
about.
K
I
was
drafted
in
the
army
in
1966
with
senate
germany,
muna
germany
in
october
of
that
year,
service,
company
clerk,
an
aquatic
master
company,
and
I
consider
myself
very
fortunate
knowing
that
I'd
be
there,
the
next
19
months
and
I've
been
discharged
and
someone's
coming
into
vietnam,
two
or
three
months
later
edward
rossick
was
assigned
to
accomplish.
He
came
in,
he
was
a
duty
soldier.
K
He
was
a
private
at
the
time
and
then
roasting
some
chelsea.
So
we
struck
up
a
friendship,
you
know
again
and
it
turned
out
he
was
drafted.
We
never
want
to
talk
about
days
where
he
was
drafted.
He
must
be
drafted
when
I
was
drafted
a
few
days
later,
because
his
serial
number
was
very
close
to
mine.
K
They
make
a
large
long
story
short
for
about
four
months
in
germany.
He
came
to
me
and
said
he'd
like
to
go
to
vietnam,
and
I
said,
are
you
sure
about
this?
You
can
understand.
What's
going
on
you
get
out
of
the
year
or
so
I
said
no,
I
want
to
go
so
as
company
clerk
I
typed
up
was
that
10
49
inch
interview
beyond
the
northern
49ers.
K
In
those
days
we
had
to
do
15
coffees
and
your
manual
typewriters,
not
only
any
ignorant
manual
backgrounds
guys
have
had
eight
coffees
and
seven
bottles.
A
new
cog
with
me
and
punch
as
hard
as
I
could
on
each
letter
so
would
go
through
all
the
problems
on.
Sadly,
they
did
for
him.
He
signed
the
papers
and
we
sent
them
following
a
couple
weeks
later.
He
got
his
artist
and
came
in.
K
I
called
him.
The
army
room
gave
him
his
artist
a
couple
weeks
later.
He
united
say
goodbye
and
he
left.
He
was
coming
down
for
a
30-day
leave
back
to
chelsea
back
to
massachusetts
and
it
is
reported
to
go
to
vietnam
two
or
three
months
later
he
was
dead
when
he
got
he
was
18
years
old
and
at
the
time
I
didn't
realize
I
used
to
watch
young
times.
K
A
I
F
I
J
I
C
C
The
brookwood
school
is
named
after
william
a
brookwoods.
He
fought
for
our
country
in
world
war
ii.
He
was
awarded
two
medals,
the
purple
heart
and
the
golden
bar.
He
was
killed
in
action
and
was
brewery
in
southern
france.
William
burke
was
grew
up
moving
down
the
street.
He
attended
the
chelsea
public
schools,
his
family
owned,
the
business
in
chelsea,
called
the
golden
thimble
store,
sold
fabric
and
elder
screen
materials
and
was
located
on.
I
C
The
clay
school
was
known
after
georgia,
lee
as
a
young
boy.
He
come
to
global
school
after
pearl
harbor
was
attacked
in
1941
george
clooney
was
saying
marine
corps.
He
was
18
years
old
at
the
time
during
world
war.
Two,
he
started
south
pacific
after
second
world
war.
One
day
mr
kelly
returned
to
chelsea
period
in
may,
1948
georgetown
decided
to
meet
with
the
military
and
join
the
army
where
he
was
promoted
to
corporal.
C
C
I
C
C
L
L
L
L
A
Presentation,
I
definitely
can
see
that
you
get
it.
That's
very
important,
because
if
there's
anything
we
can
do
is.
B
H
H
That
is
bringing
our
event
to
a
close.
I
I
do.
I
know
that
I
guess
speak
colonel
notch
had
to
leave,
but
among
his
many
thoughtful
comments,
what
struck
me
was
what
he
had
to
say
about
how
important
these
community
celebrations
are
on
memorial
day,
although
in
chelsea
and
in
many
communities
they
have
become
quite
modest
both
in
size
and
in
a
length
of
time.
H
It
is
still
very,
very
important
that
we
do
this
each
and
every
year,
and
so
we
cannot
do
it
without
you
showing
up
and
participating,
and
for
that
the
city
is
very
grateful.
So
with
that
our
official
event
is
closed.
You
can
join
us
outside
for
the
laying
of
the
wreaths,
and
with
that
I
just
want
to
say
again.
I
hope
you
have
a
very
safe
and
enjoyable
rest
of
this
memorial.
