From YouTube: Crossing Guard Breakfast 2023
Description
City of Chelsea, Chelsea Public Schools
A
Good
morning,
welcome
to
the
crossing
guide
for
breakfast
I'd
like
to
do
a
little
housekeeping.
First.
Has
everyone
signed
in
first
of
all,
second
of
all:
has
everyone
gotten
enough
to
eat
and,
third
of
all,
after
the
breakfast,
we
will
be
attending
the.
A
Ethics
training
upsty
is
directly
after
the
breakfast
and
don't
worry
the
IT
department
will
get
you
through.
Okay,.
A
A
We
have
been
unable
to
participate
in
this
event
for
a
few
years
now,
but
we
are
back
to
honor
each
and
every
one
of
you
speaking
on
behalf
of
the
crossing
guides.
We
would
like
to
thank
Dr
albeda
engineer
staff
at
central
office,
the
city
councilors
in
school
committee
members,
the
Chelsea
Police
Department
for
their
support
throughout
the
year
the
cafeteria
staff
we
in
Chelsea
cable,
the
I.T
Department.
D
E
So
good
morning,
everyone
just
like
you
Kim,
is
always
telling
me
what
to
do
as
well.
So
I
am
tasked
with
first
thanking
you
all
for
for
what
you
do.
I'm
out
there
walking
around
and
seeing
you
and
hearing
how
hard
it
is
on
a
daily
basis,
we're
we're
trying
hard
to
keep
up
our
staff
to
try
to
make
physical
improvements,
wherever
we
can
to
help
your
safety
and
help
the
safety
of
the
students.
So
we.
D
E
F
Hello,
I'm
Jeanette
Valles
from
it
I
just
want
to
give
a
heartfelt
thank
you
for
all
the
work
that
you
do
for
those
who
know
me,
you
should
know
that
I
value
each
employee
within
our
school
district,
because
each
department
is
very
important
to
make
our
operations
work
smoothly.
Like
Kim
said,
we
see
you
out
there
rain
snow,
hot
cold.
F
F
Oh
my
god,
because
it's
nerve-wracking
but
I
know
you
guys
are
doing
it
to
take
care
of
our
students
in
our
families,
and
we
appreciate
you
so
much
and
Dr
Benson
sometimes
I
call
her
because
I
worry
about
you
guys
and
if
I
see
something
I'm
like
oh
know
that
we
do
care
for
you.
We
are
looking
out
for
you
and
that
we
appreciate
you
very
very
much.
G
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
for
all
that
you
do.
You
I
watch
our
crossing
guards
across
the
city
and
I'm
like
I
prayed
for
you,
I'm
like
I,
don't
I
I
see
what
you
do
and
every
single
day
the
traffic
that
you
have
to
stop
the
kids,
but
you
also
are
building
relationships
with
our
students
and
I,
see
that
I
see
how
you
talk
to
our
kids
as
they
come
into
school
and
you
greet
them
and
they
always
have.
You
always
have
a
smile
on
your
face
and
I
know
the
crossing
guard.
G
G
I
do
get
phone
calls
from
Hurricane
I'm
a
little
worried
about
the
crossing
guard
over
here.
Can
you
look
into
this
or
so
people
are
watching
you
and
they
appreciate
all
that
you
do
and
when
you're
not
there,
I
also
get
the
calls,
and
so
when,
when
we
don't
have
a
crossing
guard
at
a
certain
stop
or
whatever
I
do
get
those
calls
and
people
notice
that
you
guys
are
not
present
when
there's
maybe
a
spot
that
doesn't
have
guard
Junior,
whatever
circumstance.
H
I
want
everyone
to
know
that
you
truly
are
amazing.
You're
awesome,
you
do
very,
very
a
very
difficult
job.
That
is
sometimes
not
always
recognized,
but
we
see
you.
We
appreciate
you.
Our
community
sees
you
and
you
are
a
vital
part
of
our
district.
My
job
in
HR
is
to
make
sure
that
you
all
are
happy
with
your
physician.
You
are
feeling
celebrated
and
that
you
want
to
get
more
people
to
join
your
ranks.
So
we're
happy
to
announce.
H
Kim
has
done
a
really
good
job
advocating
for
you
all,
so
we
are
going
to
be
rolling
out
a
bonus
or
referrals
so
for
crossing
guards.
If
you
have
other
people
that
you
want
to
refer,
we
will
be
offering
a
150
bonus
once
they
pass
their
formationary
period.
You
will
receive
it,
so
we
hope
that
they'll
encourage
you
to
kind
of
find
more
people
who
can
work
alongside
you
and
do
the
important
work
that
you
do
every
day.
The
second
thing
that
we're
trying
to
launch
in
HR
is
making
sure
you
all
feel
appreciated.
H
So
one
thing
that
Kim
and
I
talked
about
was
doing
a
peer-to-peer
appreciation,
so
starting
next
fall,
you'll
all
have
the
chance
to
recognize
your
peers
and
once
a
month
there
will
be
one
person
that
is
recognized
and
that
is
to
celebrate
the
work
that
you're
doing
amongst
your
staff
and
to
give
appreciation
to
all
the
hard
work
that
you're
all
doing.
So
those
are
some
things.
We're
excited
to
launch
and
so
I
will
pass
it
off
to
Kim.
D
Foreign
thanks
I'll
be
real
quick.
You
guys
are
the
first
adult
Chelsea
Public
School
staff,
that
many
of
our
kids
see
on
their
day
and
the
last
space
they
see
on
their
way
home
and
what
I've
observed
in
most
Corners
that
I
go
by.
Is
it's
not
just
getting
kids
across
safely,
but
welcoming
more
being
very
warm
to
them
and
and
starting
their
day
off
in
a
positive
way,
is
so
important
for
us.
I
just
did
some
quick
math
off
to
the
side.
We
have
about
4
000
students
who
don't
take
the
bus.
D
We
have
180
days
of
school
and
we
go
morning
and
then
afternoon
so
quick
count
by
my
count.
You
have
safely
as
a
team
gotten
students
to
and
from
school
one
million
440
000
trips.
D
Active
Mark
here
with
this
team,
you
guys
together,
have
done
some
phenomenal
work
and
it's
not
just
the
numbers
and
obviously
safety
first,
but
aside
from
the
safety
you've
had
over
a
million
kids
start
their
day
off
happy
and
end
their
day
off.
Happy
so
wanna
want
to.
Let
you
guys
know
how
much
we're
grateful
for
all
of
you,
foreign.

Let
me
tell
you
I
nodded
my
head,
but
I
was
really
saying
to
myself
it's
time
to
do
some
math
now
he's
graduating.
