From YouTube: Special Needs Registry 2023 PSA
Description
City of Chelsea
A
A
A
A
This
registry
came
about
some
of
the
gaps
we
noticed
in
our
coveted
response,
and
that
is
primarily
speaking
about
our
public
health
challenges
and
what
we
face
during
our
initial
vaccination
efforts.
Specifically
speaking
of
our
profile
population,
public
health,
nurse
Paula
and
myself
had
to
rely
on
several
sources
in.
A
A
list
of
Chelsea
homebound
residents
and
be
able
to
service
them.
We
had
to
rely
on
hospital
system,
lists
Elder,
Services
list
and
also
conduct
mailings,
all
of
which
take
a
lot
of
time
and
people
power
to
bring
about
as
we
go
a
little
bit
beyond
covered
and
also
think
of
everyday
emergencies,
such
as
fires,
and
also
think
of
extreme
weather
related
events.
A
A
Six
languages:
these
are
the
top
languages
reflected
in
autodemographics.
We
have
an
English
Spanish,
Portuguese,
Haitian,
Creole,
Arabic
and
Somali.
It
is
voluntary
and
the
information
will
be
kept
confidential.
It
would
only
be
shared
again
with
the
team
here
in
front
of
you
and
people
responding
to
your
emergencies.
A
You
can
sign
up
by
calling
or
3-1-1
and
that
phone
number
is
617-466-4209.
You
can
do
it
online
and
also
you
can
do
it
in
person.
You
can
sign
up
yourself
or
you
can
have
a
loved
one
or
a
caregiver
sign
up
on
your
RV
pass
in
the
next
couple
of
weeks.
Chelsea
residents
will
be
receiving
a
mailer
that
looks
like
this.
It
details
the
information
presented
to
you
here
today
and
again
it
is
in
all
of
the
six
languages
that
we
just
discussed.
A
A
Is
what's
going
to
help
us
better
plan,
prepare
and
respond
in
the
future,
especially
as
I
mentioned
as
we
consider
large-scale
events,
this
list
will
not
work
without
your
participation.
We
will
not
be
able
to
better
prepared
without
your
participation,
and
if
you
have
any
questions
related
to
this,
you
can
definitely
reach
out
to
myself
and
the
public
health
Division
and,
of
course,
any
of
the
other
participating
departments
right
now.
I
will
turn
it
over
to
my
colleagues,
who
have
been
really
key
in
the
development
of
this
list
to.
B
A
D
A
public
health
director
floor
who
spearheaded
this
program
and
her
and
her
team
has
done
an
amazing
job.
They
did
a
great
job
for
all
the
pandemics
and
just
really
reinforces
their
commitment
to
the
safety
and
the
public
health
of
our
community.
Just
to
understand
what
these
type
of
lists
it's.
The
data
is
only
as
good
as
you
provide
to
us
so
feel,
confident
that
your
information
that
you
share
will
be
confidential.
It
will
only
be
used
in
emergencies
and
the
most
important
parts
are.
D
D
E
Good
morning,
AFL
about
my
work
day.
E
This
is
such
a
valuable
to
me,
especially
for
us
from
the
police
side.
We
are
often
the
first
response
to
all
these
calls,
the
more
information
we
have
on
a
family
member,
a
loved
one,
if
that
could
jumpstart
response,
whether
it
be
EMS
flight
service
and
in
the
long-range
planning.
If
we
did
have
this
database
in
case
of
an
effect
that
would
be
evacuation,
we'd
be
so
far
ahead
of
the
plan
that
we'd
be
able
to
deploy,
teams
to
Target
the
high-risk
individuals
to
a
whole
lot.
E
I'd
just
be
called
back
and
the
day
I
was
talking
to
my
college
officer
and
then
there's
like
a
Housing
Authority.
We
had
to
files
like.
Basically
it
was
a
start
playing
refrigerated
most
of
the
elderly
had
whatever
prescriptions
there
had
any
type
of
medical
conditions.
This
is
kind
of
more
of
a
high-tech
way
of
assigning
your
family
members.
E
Up,
like
I,
said
we
have
the
24
7
or
often
the
first
to
respond
the
more
information
our
offices
have
to
bring
the
proper
resources,
medical
fire,
the
better
your
loved
one
will
be,
and
obviously
further
down
the
road
if
there
is
a
effect
that
we
need
to
capitalize
our
services
and
provide
evacuation
where
ahead
of
it.
So
it's
just
a
great
job.
One
last
thing
is
my
follow-up
officer.
Anderson
said
we
will
advertise
on
our
website.
We
have
the
ice
cream
truck
out
everywhere,
maybe
for
free
ice
cream.
E
You,
if
you
sign
a
family
member
up,
but
it's
such
a
great
idea
and
it's
again
like
Chelsea,
who
leads
the
general
area.
A
lot
of
things
created
just
such
a
smile
for
a
high
melting
Mom
who
lives
in
the
community.
It's
just
just
as
smart
to
say
something.
B
Thank
you,
Chico
all
right.
That's
okay,
clean
up
here,
pretty
good
Echo,
pretty
much
a
bunch
of
colleagues.
I
have
two
fronts
on
the
emergency
communications
that
I
don't
think.
So
it
must
be
extremely
helpful
on
the
dispatcher
of
the
call
tank.
It
takes
a
call
from
the
citizen.
As
we
add
the
address.
B
Through
this
program,
especially
registry,
we'll
be
able
to
notify
police
Fire
EMS
at
this
some
type
of
problem
with
that
location,
we'll
give
them
a
heads
up.
The
problem
could
range
from
the
power
Revenue
issue,
which
of
course,
is
on
a
ventilator
or
piece
of
equipment
where
we
realize
upfronted
they're
going
to
be
back
at
a
problem,
all
the
way
to
special
medications
to
evacuate
them
out
of
the
facility
in
everything
in
between
on.
B
E
Like
on
the
police
side,
we
have
extensive
training
in
mental
health,
a
majority
of
Rock
Falls.
Unfortunately,
they're
dealing
with
mental
health
is
kind
of
a
creature
of
habit.
We
have
to
those
who
respond
to
we
get
trained
with
elderly
services.
We
get
trained
mental
health
in
the
academy
service
training.
We
have
a
national
program,
The
Hub,
that
we
connect
all
Source
resources
that.
E
A
So
before
we
adjourn
I'd
like
to
extend
my
gratitude
to
our
acting
city
manager,
Matt
Heath
I
also
like
to
really
thank
the
rest
of
the
team,
Laurie
bulgum
for
really
spearheading
and
doing
a
lot
of
background
research
to
identify
different
special
needs
used
throughout
the
country,
Denise
Ortega
for
I.T
support
and
for
helping
us
Define
the
forms
and
it
put
them
onto
the
website,
the
box
which
are
DPW,
commissioner
and
Scarlet
olivo.
A
Who
will
be
helping
doing
a
lot
of
the
intake
of
these
forms
and
Kissel
who
helped
us
design
the
forms,
call
them
that
hat
or
just
support
and
guidance
Daria,
that
is
from
our
office
of
Housing
and
Community,
Development
who's,
working
on
resiliency
plants
from
Brazilian,
City
and,
of
course,
for
helping
us
can
be
in
this
conference
here
today
and
for
helping
us
spearhead
the
community
efforts
to
really
really
ensure
that
Chelsea
residents
know
about
this
opportunity
and
can
sign
up
for
it
with
ease
and
know
that
we
are
here
again
to
be
better
service
and
to
again,
as
I
was
saying,
to
better
serve
them
and
to
be
able
to
better
respond
to
their
opinions.
