We
have
a
great
variety
of
balls
and
lots
of
members
of
the
community
that
are
coming
in.
Support
of
those
agencies
that
are
contributed
to
the

Hi,
it's
Carolyn
here
and
we
heard
Empty
Bowls
2019
we're
hoping
people
come
down.
It's
a
little
rainy
today,
but
that's
alright.
We
hope
you
come
down
and
we
again
once
again
have
our
soup
club
red
and
our
delicious
ice
cream.
So
please
come
help
us
fundraise
for
an
area
of
food,
pantries,
soup
kitchens.
C
D
We
as
the
Chelsea
hungry
Network,
are
thrilled
to
be
able
to
have
our
8th
annual
Chelsea
Empty
Bowls.
We've
had
19
groups
over
350
residents
come
together
since
October
of
this
year
to
last
year
to
paint
bowls,
and
we
have
365
bowls
to
sell.
We
have
wooden
bowls
to
auction
off.
We
have
beautiful
special
bowls
for
a
silent
auction,
so
we
have
all
sorts
of
different
possibilities
to
raise
funds
for
st.
Loup
kitchen
for
their
for
their
pantry
for
Salvation
Army
pantry
and
engage
food
for
family
pantry.
D

This
is
my
fifth
year
here
supporting
greater
hunger,
Network

our
great
city
of
Chelsea,
with
a
hungry
network
come

Hi
I'm
genera,
Schelotto
and
I'm.
The
literacy
through
hip
hop
instructor
at
breech,
where
we
do
a
lot
of
really
cool
things.
Around
literacy
and
writing.
Poetry
and
writing
plays
writing.
Skits
writing
songs.
So
we
have
a
lot
of
fun
after
school
at
Reach
I'm.
Also
a
trio
coordinator
for
the
middle
school
at
the
Williams,
so
I
work
for
both
the
right
and
the
brown
and
in
trio
we
inspire
students
to
really
get
on
the
path
going
to
college.
H
C
I
Everyone
does
employ
a
Vienna
City
Councilor,
my
lovely
mom
Isabella
Vega,
neither
and
I'm
going
inside
right
now
to
the
hunky
Bowls
event.
My
mud
painted
and
I
was
just
a
drop,
a
painted
very
nice
Bowl
that
they're
gonna
auction
off
we're
going
to
see
how
much
money
she
makes
and
it's
a
great
cause
and
I
hope
to
see
have
one
on
the
inside
hi.
K
L
Hi
I
just
want
to
welcome
everyone
to
the
chosen
under
we're
at
Empty
Bowls
event.
This
is
really
a
fabulous
night
for
to
show
support
for
this
cause,
which
is
to
try
to
help
alleviate
hunger,
not
just
in
our
community
but
in
the
whole
region.
This
is
really
a
pervasive
problem
here
and
we
need
to
do
all
we
can
to
try
to
eradicate
it.
So
I'm
happy
to
be
here
and
grateful
for
all
the
support.
Some
things.
M
M
L
So,
thank
you.
I,
honestly,
just
want
to
welcome
everyone
to
tonight's
event
and
just
on
behalf
of
the
city
say.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
for
coming.
Thank
you
for
your
financial
support,
for
what
is
really
a
very
important
and
worthy
cause.
You
know
hunger
I
always
say:
hunger
is
a
real
insidious
problem
in
our
communities,
not
just
in
Chelsea,
but
in
all
our
surrounding
communities.
It's
a
lot
more
pervasive
than
what
you
think
it
affects
our
friends.
It
affects
it
affects
our
neighbors.
L
L
With
your
help
with
your
financial
support,
we
can
take
the
necessary
steps
to
help
alleviate
the
problem,
and
so
again,
I
want
to
financials
for
your
financial
support
and
I
also
want
to
thank
the
members
and
those
people
heavily
involved
in
the
Chelsea
Hunger
Network,
because,
yes,
they
deserve
an
apology,
because,
with
this
funding
to
support
yo
providing,
they
really
are
working
toward
some
concrete
and
and
true
solutions
to
the
problems
that
we
face
right
here
in
Chelsea.
So
with
that
said,
I'm
going
to
turn
it
over
to
Ron.
L
D
D
How
many
of
you
have
painted
a
bowl
in
the
last
seven
years,
so
I
would
say
about.
Two-Thirds
of
you
have
painted
walls
here
before,
which
is
great,
I,
think
we're
the
largest
art
project
that
Chelsea
has
seen.
This
year
we
almost
doubled
our
capacity
19
different
groups,
165
polos
and
all
over
our
three
hundred
and
sixty-five
people
that
have
come
together
in
community
to
address
hunger,
one
Bowl
at
a
time.
So
thank
you
very
much
for
coming
together
and
helping
us
kayfetz.
D
One
thing
that
you'll
find
is
that
those
of
you
who
have
painted
goals
and
your
friends
on
the
wall
to
your
right.
We
have
a
slide
showing.
You
may
very
well
seen
yourselves
there
as
well
as
opposed
to
rehab
by
the
front
door,
and
it
will
be
also
I'd
like
to
see
some
students
from
Salem,
State
and
John
will
cacio
John
that
you
are.
You
are
John
who
is
using
wind
because
of
John.
D
D
So
when
the
rents
go
up
disproportionately,
the
residents
of
Chelsea
are
affected,
so
that
really
important,
and
also
we
surveyed
over
200
residents
of
Chelsea
now
over
250,
really
good
idea
of
where
the
problems
are,
and
we
found
that
of
the
question
whether
the
question
was
asked
in
the
last
year.
If
you
were
afraid,
you
would
run
out
of
money
at
the
end
of
the
month
to
buy
the
food,
68
percent
were
afraid
that
was
going
to
happen
when
we
asked
him.
D
If
that
actually
did
happen,
57
percent
said
that
they
couldn't
feed
their
families
at
the
end
of
the
month
because
of
the
food
running
out.
So
these
organizations
that
we
support
and
others
in
Chelsea
for
food
relief
are
totally
saturated
over
their
heads
and
what
we
can
do
to
raise
funds
will
help
them
to
be
able
to
expand
their
offering
and
make
a
dent
in
this
problem.
D
So
what
you
can
do
is
that
if
you
can
take
a
look
over
here
at
your
right,
we
have
these
incredible
ten
turn
wooden
bullets
that
were
signed
with
a
raffle
tickets.
Lisa
over
there
we
have
the
tickets
she's
been
telling
me
that
people
had
told
her;
no,
they
don't
want
to
buy
one
and
she's.
She
said,
and
we
don't
want
her
to
be
sad.
So
please,
when
she
comes
to
you
and
says,
by
only
five
dollars,
a
ticket
three
for
ten
and
five
for
twenty,
no
ten
for
20
Oh.
What?
D
D
That's
why
she's
selling
tickets
now
because
she
was
so
moved
by
coming
home
by
those
boats.
So
please
do
that
and
to
your
left,
you
will
find
some
unbelievably
painted
bowls
that
are
on
for
silent
auction.
So
please
take
a
look,
put
down
your
bids
and
if
somebody
has
a
higher
bid
than
you
don't
let
them
get
away
with
it.
So
please
go
there
as
well.
Take
a
look
at
all
those
presentations
and
everybody
goes
to
the
pear
trees
at
st.
Luke's,
the
soup
kitchen
of
st.
D
Luke's
Salvation,
Army
pantry,
and
for
mgh
food
for
families.
Every
penny
goes
to
them
and
finally,
I
want
to
give
a
thanks
to
everybody.
That's
back
in
the
cafeteria,
all
the
volunteers
that
we
have
in
the
back
Keith,
especially
our
chef
Keith
Jones
from
DPN
in
all
that
wonderful,
clam
chowder,
the
chili,
the
soup
he
made
from
scratch.
So
please
give
a
benefit.
Also
I,
don't
know
Amir
and
Katara's
here,
but
that
we
have
the
Toscanini
ice
cream
that
was
donated.
D
Toscanini
is
it's
the
best
ice
cream
in
a
Boston
area,
but
I
think
it
could
be
the
country
and
maybe
in
the
world
it
is
the
best.
So
please
help
yourself
to
that.
Have
some
some
fun
buy
some
tickets
put
in
your
option?
Rakia
I
want
to
think
back
here
for
being
a
credible
DJ
everything
that
comes
to
spin
some
great
stuff,
so
please
enjoy
yourself
empty
your
pockets
and
fill
your
stomach's.
Thank
you.
G
N
O
Come
out,
Chelsea
community,
we're
here
again
I'm
so
happy
to
be
a
part
of
tonight's
event,
for
the
empty
bowl
and
for
an
amazing
cause.
It's
for
to
service
our
food
pantries
in
the
community
and
make
sure
that
each
and
every
one
of
our
residents
get
soup
and
I'm
just
happy
to
be
here
for
a
great
cause.
