#ClearwaterBeach continues to see rough surf, rip currents and other hazards for beach goers wanting to enter the water.
Impacts from #RedTide are also being felt along the beach. Watch the short PSA below for tips from a lifeguard on how to safely enjoy the beach when conditions like this are present.

Today,
we're
seeing
steel,
a
lot
of
strong
currents,
rough
surf,
discoloration
in
the
water
and
what
that
brings
a
whole
new
sort
of
animal.
For
today
you
know
it's
the
unknown.
We
don't
know
what
we're
dealing
with
today.
So
sand
is
shifted.
Rip
currents
are
very
possible
a
day
and
we
could
possibly
have
debris
in
the
water,
be
safe,
swim
near
a
lifeguard.
If
you
choose
to
go
into
the
water
and
talk
to
the
lifeguard,
ask
them
what
the
hazards
are
out.
