A
B
Barbara
cooper,
fbl
manager,
clearwater
air
park
inc,
so
some
good
news
to
report
the
fuel
price.
After
a
summer
of
crazy
fuel
prices,
we
got
a
load
in
yesterday
that
price
went
down
52
cents
today
and
last
fuel
it
went
down
47
cents.
B
The
eaa
has
had
the
bus,
the
blood
mobile
there
a
couple
times,
but
this
time
it's
just
the
air
park,
sponsoring
it
it'll
be
saturday
august
13th
I
have
little
flyers,
I
can
give
everybody
it's
going
to
be
from
9,
00
a.m,
to
12
p.m,
and
they
give
everybody
a
20
e-gift
card,
a
blood
towel
and
a
wellness
checkup,
which
is
nice,
so
we're
trying
to
get
people
rounded
up
to
donate
some
blood.
So
I'll
have
some
of
these.
B
If
anybody
would
like
to
pick
one
up
regarding
the
air
park
operations
with,
even
with
the
summer
heat
and
the
storms,
the
airpark
has
remained
busy
all
the
hangars
are
still
full.
We
still
maintain
our
waiting
list.
We
haven't
had
as
much
transient
traffic
but
we're
still
getting
transient
traffic.
B
D
B
D
B
C
Barb
is:
is
there
what
am
I
trying
to
say
a
like
a
a
day,
an
open
house.
B
B
E
E
F
B
Years
ago
we
had
a
couple
abandoned
airplanes.
I
don't
know
if
mike
was
here
for
that
or
not
we
had
to
go
through
the
whole,
it's
a
long
process,
but
they
were
actually
abandoned
and
we
actually
had
an
auction
and
had
to
sell
them.
So
these
folks
are
still
paying
for
their
spots.
We
keep
telling
them,
they
have
to
get
it.
You
know,
but
you
know
how
it
is
with
the
marina
the
same
way
right,
it's
the
same,
yeah
the
planes
that
are
on
spots.
A
B
B
Yeah
well,
if
they're
not,
we
have
to
go
through
that
process.
I
mean
it's
a
long
process
because
you
have
to
you
have
to
follow
all
the
rules.
To
do
that,
you
have
to
try
to
contact
them
numerous
times.
You
have
to
send
them
letters,
you
have
to
put
it
in
the
paper.
You
know
it's
a
whole
legal
thing
that
you
have
to
do
so.
B
I
don't
know
that
they're
beyond
repair,
most
airplanes
can
be
repaired.
You
know,
yeah
I
mean
there
was
a
gentleman
hadn't
flown
his
airplane
for
a
while
they
repaired
it.
In
fact,
I
think
they
put
all
new
avionics
in
it
and
everything
else,
it's
amazing
and,
and
it
got
sold
so
yeah,
those
old
airplanes.
I
mean
just
like
those
ones
that
were
just
in
there
from
the
40s.
You
know
they
they
usually
be
brought
back
to
life.
So
most
of
your
money,
okay!
Well,
that's
all!
I
had
thanks
thanks
barb.
Thank
you.
Bob.
A
Okay:
next,
we
as
the
board
need
to
discuss
and
identify
our
time
that
we
want
to
do
our
annual
presentation
to
the
council
last
year.
We
did
it
in
september,
but
I
spoke
with
eric
and
it
seemed
best
that
we
would
do
it
after
the
new
lessee
is
selected,
and
we
can
talk
about
how
we
participated
in
the
whole
rfp
process
and
developing.
G
G
So
you
know
the
city
procurement.
We
drafted
the
rfp
with
input
from
the
marine
aviation
department.
We
advertised
the
rfp
for
a
minimum
of
21
days.
It
was
open
from
june
29th
to
august
2nd
at
10
a.m.
The
city
procurement
is
the
only
point
of
contact
allowable
for
potential
respondents.
During
this
time,
a
rfp
committee
made
up
of
city
staff
will
review
this
and
score
proposals
at
a
public
meeting
and
that
will
be
on
the
meeting
at
8
11.
G
G
That
is
going
to
be
over
across
from
the
police
station.
It's
where
building
code
enforcement,
okay,
human
resources,
it's
at
11.!
E
G
A
D
This
isn't
advertised
meeting
that
we're
advertising.
I
don't
that's
the
first
I've
heard
of
it.
A
A
I
know
it's
getting
closer
to
holidays,
but
I
know
I'm
around
so
I'll
be
able
to
to
do
it
at
least
in
in
november,
at
some
point
and
then
hopefully,
when
we
talk
about
our
next
agenda
item,
we
will
have
had
that
presentation
as
well.
We
can
add
on
to
that
as
our
list
of
things
you
know
it
might
be
fun
for
since.
F
I
know
he'll
end
up
doing
it.
It
might
be
nice
to
have
one
more
meeting
and
then
maybe
you
could
do
the
first
council
meeting
of
december
or
something
like
that.
Try
to
get
too
far
into
christmas.
I
was.
A
F
A
D
A
If
I
can
probably
do
that
third
or
seventeenth-
and
we
can-
you
know-
touch
base
with
eric
and
make
sure
one
of
those
days
would
work.
So
is
everybody
in
agreement
with
that,
then
have
one
more
meeting
and
then
try
to
shoot
for
the
third
or
the
17th
council
meeting
to
do
a
presentation
for
the
board.
A
A
A
So,
after
speaking
with
eric,
it
seems
like
it
might
be
better
to
have
more
of
a
presentation
to
kind
of
familiarize
everybody
here
on
the
board.
What
it
is
the
city
is
looking
to
do
and
they
can
tailor
it
to
what
they
think.
Specifically
out
of
that
plan
could
possibly
be
done
at
the
air
park
at
some
point.
A
So
I
just
need
to
get
a
board
consensus
that
we
would
all
like
to
see
this
presentation
by
the
city
sustainability
coordinator
at
our
next
meeting.
Okay,
okay,
yeah.
I
agree:
okay!
Well,
we
have
favorite
all
in
favor,
say
half
a
year,
all
three
of
us
again,
so
that
was
the
other
agenda
item
that
I
was
saying
would
be
good.
That
we'd
be
able
to
then
talk
about
when
we
do
the
presentation
to
the
council
that
we've
had
this
presentation
from
the
city
about
the
green
initiative
and
things
that
we've
also
identified.
D
F
Have
anything
they
can
send
out
the
email
prior
to
you
know
I'd
love
to
be
able
to
read
the
background
on
it
first,
so
I
feel
prepared.
D
D
F
G
Yes,
so
the
rfe
rfq
process,
I've
already
spoken
online.
So
I
wanted
to
talk
about
the
overlay
project,
so
the
state
of
florida.
They
maintain
the
pavement
improvement
program
for
all
the
airports
across
florida,
so
they
come
in.
They
come
in
every
year
or
every
other
year
and
they
look
at
your
runways,
your
taxiways
and
your
apron,
and
they
look
at
the
degradation
of
the
runway.
G
G
We
don't
have
all
the
funding
on
our
end,
but
the
state
has
already
funded
it.
They've
already
earmarked
it
so
in
about
six
months
or
so,
I'm
going
to
meet
with
a
record
engineer
of
record
with
the
city
of
clearwater
and
we're
going
to
go
out
there
and
look
at
it
he's
going
to
give
me
an
estimate
and
see
what
needs
to
be
done
so
we're
about
50,
40
and
30
in
some
areas,
useful
life
left
of
the
apron.
G
We
have
that
and
then
we
still
have
the
security
cameras
that
project's
still
going
on
we're
needing
to
replace
the
fiber
optics
that
run
from
the
terminal
out
to
the
hangers.
For
the
camera
system,
the
fiber.
That's
there
now
has
just
passed
its
useful
life,
so
we've
already
gotten
funding
from
the
state
for
that.
We've
already
got
approval
from
city
council,
so
now
we're
just
waiting
on
the
contractor
to
come
out
and
put
in
the
fiber
optics.
G
C
C
I
know
the
city
a
little
while
ago
was
looking
at
what
are
they
going
to
do
with
the?
I
think
it
was
22
and
a
half
million
dollars
and
federal
funds.
The
city
got,
do
you
know
if
any
of
that
any
of
it
five
dollars
or
something
was
allocated.
G
To
the
to
to
the
airport,
I
don't
know
if
they've
completely
decided
where
all
that
money
is
going
to
know.
I
know
they've
been
having
public
hearings
on
that
in
public
meetings
to
discuss
that,
and
I
don't
know
if
they've
earmarked
all
that
money
yet,
but
we
were
able
to
secure
some
of
the
funding
through
the
code
relief.
I
think
the
very
first
act.
F
Is
it
appropriate?
I
looked
up
the
names
of
the
people
that
replied
to
the
proposal
and
I
was
just
checking
names
against
the
corporate
names.
I
was
just
curious
number
three,
the
clearwater
blue
sky
is
an
appropriate
ass
to
who
is
that
they're,
not
in
the
list
of
corporations.
G
F
F
A
F
Not
today,
because
I've
done
so,
I
guess
I
did
what
I
did.
Oh
I
will
say
I
always
like
to
this
is
a
good
forum,
our
young
eagles,
just
because
it's
nice
for
community
relations,
we,
with
with
barbara
cooper's
approval,
we're
going
to
try
to
do
a
a
little
bit
smaller
event
more
frequently.
So
if
we
lose
one
to
weather,
which
has
been
a
problem
this
year,
we
actually
lost
two.
E
F
To
to
weather
with
this,
they
didn't
cooperate,
and
so
we're
going
to
do
we're
going
to
try
it
just
experiment
with
the
last
september
october
november,
a
max
of
30,
which
means
there's
always
five
no
shows
so
it'll,
be
a
max
of
25
kids
and
try
to
get
started.
Get
it
done
with,
and
less
impact
on.
The
airport
is
partly
what
we're
hoping
to
do,
and
then
we
don't
have
to
try
to
come
up
with
eight
airplanes
to
fly,
60,
kids
or
70
kids.
F
We
can
get
by
with
one
or
two
airplanes
or
three
or
four,
and
so
we're
just
going
to
see
how
it
goes
and
we're
kind
of
we've.
We've
talked
with
venice.
That
does
a
it
does
something
similar
a
smaller
group
more
often,
and
they
have
good
luck
with
it.
It's
a
it's
a
fast
event.
It
gets
done
in
a
hurry
and,
like
I
said,
we
have
a
weather
weather
castle.
That's
not
a
big
deal.
Get
this
gasoline
try
again
next
month.
E
G
I
would
suggest
that
you
email
me
whenever
you
have
these
events
and
I
can
send
those
to
public
communications
and
get
those
sent
out
and
on
social
media,
and
things
like
that
yeah,
absolutely
because
I
know
that
you
know
I'm
very
appreciative
for
everything
that
young
eagles
does
at
the
airport.
I
think
it's
great
what
you
guys
do
so.
G
A
F
F
I
just
put
it
up
last
week
for
in
the
backs
of
30.
and
three
kids
are
already
signed
up
three
between
the
three
of
them.
They've
found
27
young
eagle
points,
I'm
kind
of
going
not
starting
to
get
to
be
time
for
you
to
either
take
lessons,
or
you
know,
we're
all
burning
gas
trying
to
take
you
for
what
kid
had
15
young
eagle
flights
in
the
last
two
years.
I
mean
it
just
goes
all
over
anywhere
there's
one
he
shows
up
if
he
doesn't
turn
out
to
be
a
pilot.
C
The
shortage
of
pilots
there's
a
tremendous
shortage
of
pilots
and
that's
it's
gonna.
It's
gonna
be
that
way
for
a
long
time.
You
know
airlines
are
parking
airplanes
because
they
can't
get
pilots-
and
I
know
you
you
you
have
a
flight
school
but
is
is,
is
a
flight
school?
C
You
know-
and
I
think
I
may
have
asked
you
this
privately
when
we
were
walking
out
or
something
one
day,
but
I
mean
just
so
the
board
hears
this
too.
As
I
said,
I
know
you
have
flight
instructors
and
so
on,
but
are
you?
Is
your
flight
school
in
any
way
affiliated
with
any
of
the
airlines?
In
other
words,
I
I
know
that,
for
example,
american,
united
alaska
delta
and
probably
many
others
are
all
trying
to
capture
the
pilots
when
they're
training
so
that
they
can.
C
B
Well,
it's
not
our
school,
it's
tampa
bay
aviation,
they
run
space
at
the
airpark
and
they
are
very
active
with
that.
They've
had
several
presentations
from
airlines
where
they
come
and
speak
to
the
pilots
like
a
career
day
thing.
They
had
republic
airways
there
and
I
can't
remember
another
one,
but.
B
At
least
two
or
three
of
them
recently
and
they're
all
flowing
through
to
the
all
the
instructors
once
they
get
their
hours,
they're
out
and
they're
getting
these
regional
jobs.
One
of
the
helicopter
pilots
grace
just
just
got
her
offer
for
not
homeland
security,
but
a
border
protection.
She
just
got
a
job
with
them.
B
She
starts
training
in
a
couple
weeks,
so
yeah
they've
all
gone
on
to
either
corporate
flying
or
the
regional
jets,
and
then
on
to
I
mean
I
know
personally
a
couple
of
the
flight
instructors
that
were
there
a
few
years
ago.
One
day
I
was
flying
to
pittsburgh
on
a
legion.
He
was
in
the
ranks
in
the
right
seat
of
the
allegiant
aircraft
came
back
and
talked
to
me,
and
I
sat
there
and
I
saw
him
walk
in.
I
was
like
wow
kind
of
gives
me
goosebumps.
You
know.
B
Instructor
two
years
ago,
so
yeah-
those
are
those
those
are
really
good
stories
and
I'm
just
looking
for
a
way
mike
that
you
know.
Is
there
a?
Is
there
a
story
here.
B
Well
I'll
tell
you
an
interesting
story,
one
of
the
guys
that
was
a
lineman
at
the
airport
when
he
started
when
he
was
18
years
old.
He
did
all
his
training
at
the
flight
school
various
flight
schools
that
were
there
over
the
years
he
started
out
working
at
psa,
which
was
u.s
airways
express.
He
became
a
captain.
There
now
he's
a
captain
for
american,
the
mainline
and
that's
all
in
a
short
time,
five
or
six
years.
It's
amazing.
B
It
used
to
be
in
the
old
days
it
took
you
20
years
to
become
a
captain
in
an
airline
major,
but
now
they're
just
flowing
through
so
fast.
So,
yes,
that's
that
flight
school
is,
is
building
a
pilot
base
for
all
the
airlines
right
now,
okay,
yeah!
Well,
I
I
think,
and
they
have
a
lot
of
career
students
there
too.
So
I
think
there
is
something
there
that
we
you
know
somebody
whether.
C
It's
somebody
from
tampa
bay
times
or
yeah.
Some
somebody
who's
good
at
writing.
This
kind
of
stuff
up,
certainly
they
could
come
and
talk
to
the
flight
school
talk
to
barb
and-
and
I
I
just
like
to
see
you
know-
clearwater-
get
a
little
recognition
for
what's
going
on
here.
Absolutely
so.
G
C
Might
be
something
that
would
be
it'd,
probably
be
really
perfect.
If
there
was
a
an
article
done-
and
you
know,
there's
a
lot
of
photos
that
they
could
use
yeah,
okay,
I'll
mention
it
too
yeah
thanks
