A
So,
first
of
all,
if
everyone's
had
a
chance
to
take
a
look
at
the
minutes
from
the
february
3rd
meeting,
do
I
hear
a
motion
for
approving
the
minutes?
Okay,
very
good.
Do
I
have
a
second
thank
you,
so
much
moved
and
seconded
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye
opposed
minutes
are
approved
as
submitted
all
right.
Are
there
any
citizens
to
be
heard
by
the
library
advisory
board.
A
B
B
B
B
B
Middle
of
june,
don't
quote
me
on
the
date:
maybe
the
14th
somewhere
around
there,
because
I
believe
school
gets
out
the
first
week
of
june.
B
B
And
then
our
utility
bills
clearwater's
utility
bills,
they
call
it
sunshine
lines,
they
always
promote
or
some
you
know
our
programs
and
initiatives
so
it'll
be
in.
I
don't
know,
I
guess
it'll
be
next
month's
next
month,
or
maybe
this
month
until
I
haven't,
got
my
utility
bill
yet
in
the
paper
bill.
Yes,.
B
B
We
certainly
became
aware
of,
as
you
know,
the
majority
of
our
parking
lot
is
unavailable
right
now
and
that's
because
they
are
doing
work
obviously
in
the
park,
but
part
of
that
underneath
our
parking
lot
are
some
things
that
they
need
access
to,
so
they
cordoned
off
closed
off
majority
of
our
parking
lot.
There
is
still
some
paint,
some
spacious
spaces,
sorry,
but
also
right
across
the
street.
We
have
temporary
parking
and
there
is
some
signage,
but
I'm
going
to
reach
out
and
see
if
we
can
get
better
signage
because
they're.
B
It's
hard
to
see
so,
but
they
expect
this
to
go
be
closed
off
for
about
four
months.
Four.
B
And
because
of
that
part
of
that,
the
close
off
area
included
our
outside
book
drop.
So
what
we,
our
solution,
was
to
purchase
a
temporary
book
drop
that
was
just
installed
on
tuesday.
I
believe.
Okay,
it's
right
outside
the
east
gate
all
right,
so
it
feels.
A
Okay,
has
there
been
any
projection
as
to
how
this
closure
is
going
to
impact
our
summer
programs?
Here.
B
B
A
B
B
So
that's
where
it
is
right
now
it's
under
review,
so
I
just
wanted
to
give
you
an
update
that
I
you
know
it
is
submitted
as
a
separate
project
and
it
has
to
be
reviewed
and,
of
course
approved
so.
A
All
right
do
you
have
any
idea
when
we
can
expect
some
action
or
an
actual
review
on
it,
and
is
this
something
that
will
go
in
front
of
our
council?
It.
B
Will
probably
well
the
overall
budget
goes
to
the
council
and
they
ultimately
approve
the
budget,
but
before
then
it
goes
to
city
management
and,
of
course,
if
it
is
approved,
work
would
begin
in
october.
First,
the
new
fiscal
year
wouldn't
start
this
year.
That's
if
it's
approved.
B
Okay,
so
it's
fiscal
year.
Our
budget
next
budget
is
fiscally
your
22-23
okay,
but
there
have
been
some
challenges
too,
with
the
consultant
we
were
are
working
with
with
getting
prices
getting
you
know,
availability
of
ffa
furniture
and
fixtures
and
equipment,
so
he's
been
struggling
trying
to
give
us.
You
know
an
idea
and
just
how
long
this
project
will
take
if
we
are
still
dealing
with
the
supply
chain
issue.
Yes,
as
we
all
know,.
A
Yes,
yes,
between
supply
chain
issues
and
inflation.
These
are
interesting
times
very
long,
so,
but
certainly
I'd
appreciate
being
kept
informed
as
to
that,
because
again,
as
most
of
us,
feel
if
our
presence
at
any
meetings
where
this
is
under
discussion,
if
we
could
offer
our
support
for
keeping
our
library
the
best
anywhere,
we
won't
be
there.
Okay,.
A
A
B
B
So
I'm
calling
in
the
renovation
really
it's
just
a
reorganization
of
our
areas,
so
we
don't
have
any
site
plans
or
architectural
drawings
for
that.
It's
just
well
we're
going
to
move
fiction
on
the
third
floor
and
add
more
seating
here.
C
E
B
And
then
revisiting
our
service
model
so
having
you
know
the
first
floor,
being
more
active
grab
and
go
and
and
meeting
spaces
collaboration
and
and
combined.
You
know
circulation
desks
with
the
librarian
so
because
we're
planning
on
moving
some
computers
and
downstairs
so
really
having
like
a
joint
use
desk,
which
is
very
consistent
with
our
other
locations.
C
E
So
I
know
a
little
bit
about
libraries
yeah,
I'm
not
suggesting
anything
like
that,
but
I
know
a
little
bit
about
libraries
and
I
certainly
support
you
and
your
efforts
and
your
staff's
efforts
to
improve
how
the
library
functions
were
any
upgrades
included
for
any
of
the
other
libraries.
B
B
E
B
We've
they've
cleared
out
so
many
I
mean
it's
just
a
well
a
well-planned
footprint,
so
we
like
to
refresh
there
it's
time
to
refresh
their
furniture,
wonderful
because
they
opened
what
in
2005.
So
it's
it's
been
a
while.
So
that's.
B
The
park
is
completed.
We
all
envision
more
people
because
we'll
be
right
on
the
bluff
walks,
so
we
envision
more
people
coming
in.
So
that's
why
we
wanted
to
make
the
first
floor
more
active
and
relevant.
You
know
that
synergy
with
the
park.
D
D
Open
right,
like
the
shelves
will
be,
it
won't
be.
B
A
Great
well,
I'm
very
happy
that
the
library
is
being
integrated
into
the
plants
at
first.
That
definitely
was
a
concern.
It
looked
like
we
were
just
gonna,
be
here
with
the
entrance
off
here
and
imagine
clearwater
there.
So
I'm
very
pleased
that
it's
recognized
that
this
is
a
jewel.
This
is
a
jewel
and
it
needs
to
be
featured
good.
A
B
B
B
I
believe
she
mostly
does
color,
but
I
I
don't
know
what
exhibit
what
specific
is,
if
it's
going
to
be
here,
but
so
she
will
her
exhibit,
will
open
mid-june
and
will
probably
conclude
around
in
december.
Oh
very
cool,
oh.
B
B
A
I
know
people
in
my
building
came
for
the
the
lecture
and
I
had
friends
and
relatives
in
from
out
of
town,
and
we
all
came.
We
kept
coming
up
here
and
a
group
from
my
church
and
and
all
that,
it's
like
this
place
is
amazing
and
the
exhibit
just
people
were
amazed
because
in
central
florida
we
don't
necessarily
know
that
much
about
the
everglades,
and
I
feel
that
my
understanding
certainly
increased
exponentially
because
of
viewing
it
multiple
times.
B
B
So
I'll
just
go
back
as
I
believe
we
met
the
beginning
of
february,
so
there
were
some
big
programs
that
we've
had
since
then.
So
I
just
want
to
tell
you
a
little
bit
about
that.
In
february
we
had
an
honor
black
history
month.
We
had
our
sixth
annual
night
at
the
library
at
our
north
greenwood
library.
B
They
had
a
great
program
of
presenters
and
speakers
and
music
and
the
community
really
came
out
once
again,
and
it
was
just
a
great
time
that
for
them
to
get
together,
connect
and
and
learn-
and
as
you
know,
the
city
is
trying
to
form
a
cra
in
the
north
greenwood
area
communities.
So
it
was
just
great
timing
to
to
kick
off
that
and
we
are
having
community
meetings
in
north
greenwood
to
see
what
the
community
wants.
So
that
will
help
direct.
You
know
the
cra's
efforts,
so
that
was
in
february.
B
In
prior
years
we
hosted
it
here,
but
with
some
of
the
changes
like
this
room
and
now
the
exhibit
space,
we
just
felt
that
we
needed
a
bigger
open
space
and
parking,
so
we
partnered
with
parks
and
rec,
and
we
had
our
comic-con
at
the
ross
norton
recreation
center
in
south
greenwood
and
we
had
over
two
thousand
people
come
and
what's
unique
about
our
comic
con.
It's
family
friendly,
it's
free!
B
So
we
have
you
know,
activities
for
all
ages
and
we
have
vendors
there
selling
their
wares.
So
I
was
just
so
happy
that
to
bring
it
back,
because
that
was
one
of
our
signature
programs
and
and
to
be
able
to
partner
at
the
rec
center
was
just
a
more
conducive
venue,
given
what
our
constraints
here
were
at
the
construction,
so
that
was
in
march
and
in
april
we
hosted
and
we've
been
doing
this
for
three
or
four
years.
We
hosted
a
robotics
competition
and
we
also
sponsored
a
a
team.
B
B
Probably
maybe
10
or
12.-
don't
quote
me
on
that,
but
it
was
a
great
turnout
and
to
see
these,
these
kids
and
their
knowledge
and
they
create
their
own
robot
and
they
code
and
then
they
compete.
Unfortunately,
our
team
didn't
win
first
place
this
year
last
year.
They
did
but
it's
just
it's
a
great
program
and
it
really
supports
the
school's
curriculum.
We
have
the
steam
stem
program,
so
we're
proud
of
that
and
let's
see.
B
May
is
a
slower
month
for
us
because
we're
gearing
up
for
summer
reading
program.
We
do
have
some
programs
scheduled,
but
not
as
many
as
as
normal.
We
did
have
last
weekend
and
I'm
so
glad
the
weather
held
up
because
it
was
outside
at
our
east
community
library,
in
the
quad.
B
It's
our
el
dia
de
los
ninos,
el
dia
de
los
libros,
our
dave,
the
child
day
of
the
book
celebration
and
we've
been
doing
that
every
year
and
it's
been
great
and
it
really
brings
it's
geared
for
the
hispanic
community
and
we
just
had
a
great
time.
I
think
they
had
over
200
people.
B
B
B
One
other
cip
project
that
I
submitted
was
trying
to
get
a
library
vehicle
because
we're
doing
so
many
more
outreach
and
community
events
and
we're
bringing
a
lot
of
equipment
out.
You
know
3d
printers
and
then
you
know
tents
tables.
I
know
our
division
manager
has
this
very
successful
telescope
programs.
So
it's
it's
a
challenge
to
fit
all
this
equipment
and
staff
cars,
so
I
put
in
for
a
library
vehicle.
So
hopefully
good
luck
with
that.
We'll.
B
And
we'll
really
be
out
and
about
so
the
next
part
is
personnel.
Okay,
we
do
not
expect
any
cuts
to
our
budget.
A
B
So
we've
been
hiring
people
and
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
times
we
are
promoting
within,
but
then
that
creates
another
vacancy,
sometimes
and
and
for
us
we
have
a
lot
of
part-time
employees.
So
those
positions,
the
turnover,
is
more
frequent
than
a
full-time
position,
but
we're
filling
we're
filling
the
positions.
It's
just
slow
going.
B
E
E
B
B
Know
you
get
fully
staffed
for
like
a
month.
Maybe
someone
was
like
hey
I'm
relocating
back
to
my
family
in
this
state,
but
the
challenge
for
us
was:
we
had
a
hiring
freeze
during
the
pandemic,
so
we
had
14
positions
that
we
couldn't
fill
and
then,
when
they
lifted
the
hiring
freeze
it
was.
We
had
14
vacancies
to
fill
so
and
then
some
more
that
people
have,
you
know,
moved
on
to
other
opportunities
and
again
the
hiring
process
is
a
process.
It's
it's
doesn't.
B
A
A
B
E
B
Yeah,
all
of
our
job
classifications,
the
salary
job
description,
it's
all
on
the
city's
website
great,
but
the
part-time
positions
are
a
little
more
challenging
to
fill
so.
A
B
B
Yep,
in
fact,
I
just
had
a
meeting
on
tuesday
evening
and
I
haven't
had
got
received
an
update,
but
we
are
requesting
that
they
fund
our
book
bash
again
this
year.
That's
our
back
to
school
program.
That
concludes
our
summer
reading
program
and
they've
been
funding
it
for
if
they
find
it
this
year,
be
the
seventh
year
and
it's
just
wonderful,
because
children
get
backpacks
school
supplies
and
books
all
at
once,
and
it's
just
last
year
was
they.
B
They
went
like
hotcakes,
so
we're
very
grateful
for
the
foundation
for
funding
that
so
crossing
our
fingers.
It'll
be
funded
again
this
year,
okay
and
then,
of
course,
the
we
they
still
have:
funds
from
the
countryside,
capital
improvement,
the
capital
campaign
and
they
fund
a
lot
of
countryside
libraries
programs.
So
they
can
continue
to
support
that.
B
Absolutely
I
can
talk
to
the
executive
director,
in
fact
I'm
seeing
her
tomorrow.
I
can
ask
her
to
to
the
board
to
consider
that
yeah.
B
B
I
don't
believe
they
have
any
book
sales
scheduled
in
the
near
future,
but
we
they've
been
doing
really
really
well
each
library.
You
know
here
we
have
a
store,
but
each
library
has
an
area,
a
friend's
library,
book,
sale
area
and
we've
been
doing
really
well.
People
have
been
purchasing
books
and
so
they're
they've
been
doing
really
well,
and
this
year
they
have
agreed
to
fund
scholarships.
B
B
B
So
we
think
that
we'll
be
okay
so,
but
we
still
have
team
volunteers
as
well.
So,
okay-
and
this
is
a
weird-
this
is
going
to
be
our
first
summer
like
post
cofid,
so
we're
seeing
so
many
people,
you
know
attending
our
programs
and
it
really
feels
nice
to
get
back
to
where
we
were
so.
This
will
be
our
first
summer,
where
we're
doing
in-house
programs
since
coveted,
so
we're
we're
excited
so
we're
also
doing
you
know.
Hybrid
two
will
be
offering
some
virtual
programs.
B
Also
early
great,
I
heard
a
story
the
other
day.
Our
beach
library
has
an
active
book
club
group
and
a
lot
of
them.
You
know
in
the
beach
area
snowbirds,
so
we
do
we're
back
to
in-person
vocab
book
discussions,
book
clubs,
but
we
also
do
a
zoom
a
live
zoom.
So
for
the
snowbirds
who
are
back
home,
they
can
still
participate
in
that
book
book
club.
B
B
A
C
A
E
Yes,
did
you
talk
to
the
director
of
communications
in
regards
to
this
eview.
B
Yes,
I
did
what
kind
of
room,
so
I
requested
her
her
department
to
consider
advertising
for
our
library
programs
during
sea
view
before
city
council
meetings.
So
I
believe
she
said
she
was
going
to
start
working
on
that.
That's
great
yeah,
okay,
excellent
yeah.
E
B
E
E
It's
my
understanding
when
I
got
the
booklet
in
regards
to
responsibilities
etc
for
board
members
regulations.
You
know
sunshine
law
et
cetera.
