A
H
Some
on
record
good
evening,
city
manager,
Council
mayor
and
staff,
my
staff's
out
working
I'm
here
tonight-
I'm
Beth,
Davis,
1962,
Harding,
Plaza
Clearwater
I'm
here
tonight
to
thank
you
for
the
Deep
dive
conversation
mayor
and
all
and
the
resolution
for
the
completion
of
Drew
Street
is
a
safe
Street
to
all
the
staff
who
you'll
have
to
pass
along
because
I
think
they're
not
here
tonight.
Thank
you
for
the
hard
work
and
probable
overtime
and
sleepless
nights
getting
it
all
done.
H
When
you
should
have
been
celebrating
graduations
or
summer
break
with
your
kids,
you
were
working
for
us
and
for
counsel.
Perhaps
you
wanted
to
be
putting
a
final
touch
on
Coachman
Park,
which
is
probably
on
your
list,
but
planning
legal
engineering,
traffic
control
and
more
from
all
of
us
and
my
phone
buzzes
too.
Thank
you.
At
the
work
session,
there
was
unanimous
consensus
on
safety
for
section
2,
residential
of
Drew
Street,
State
Road
590
between
Myrtle
and
Keene,
and
tonight
I'd
like
to
ask
now
that
the
test
striping
is
off
the
table.
H
Please
add
to
your
work
session:
Monday
would
be
perfect
a
request
to
install
the
planned
speed
limit
of
35
miles
an
hour
for
these
two
plus
miles
now
change
this
now
and
vote
for
the
residents
now
propose,
as
a
group
to
fdot
and
forward
Pinellas
at
changes
sign
to
speed
limit
as
quickly
as
possible.
Save
the
summer.
H
18
signs
need
to
be
changed:
east
and
west.
We
like
to
call
that
a
cheap
date
place
the
Clearwater
electronic
signs
before
Cain
and
Myrtle.
We
had
them
a
new
speed
limit
35
miles
per
hour,
now
slow
down
and
be
safe
happy
summer.
This
will
improve
our
execution
and
results
as
we
progress
in
this
plan.
Let's
start
now,
this
number
35
miles
an
hour
is
in
the
plan
that
you
all
seem
to
agree
with
that.
Thank
you
for
improving
the
quality
of
life
for
everyone
who
drives
Drew
Street,
no
matter
where
they
live.
H
I
Good
evening
my
name
is
Jennifer
heathcock
and
I'm.
A
resident
of
Clearwater
I
have
been
for
almost
two
years
two
years.
I
am
also
the
face
of
homelessness
in
this
city
too,
and
I've
been
working
with
Kathy
Hamm
she's.
The
new
is
the
new
homeless
Outreach
for
Clear
Water
I
have
talked
with
her
actually
today,
and
she
was
talking
about
like
this
is
a
pallet
program,
for
you
know
and
I
think
it
can
really
work.
I
I
I
won't
go
into
details,
but
if
anybody's
heard
about
the
eight
counts
in
Polk
County
I
won't
you
know,
but
that
just
look
it
up.
It
was
last
week
that
can
pretty
much
sum
up.
My
childhood
from
my
own
father-
and
you
know
that's
very
uncomfortable
for
me
to
have
to
say
that
and
I
get
that
it's
very
uncomfortable.
I
But
my
main
thing
for
showing
up
for
here
tonight
is
to
remind
everybody
and
let
everybody
aware
that
they're
having
a
meeting
Tuesday
June
13th
at
5
30
at
the
Largo
Public
Library,
and
it
is
for
the
ending
homelessness
together.
Pinellas
County
Continuum
of
Care
I've,
actually
been
in
a
meeting.
I
just
want
to
say
one.
You
know
Mr
bunker
and
Miss
back
when
you
are
kind
of
messing
with
my
head,
because
y'all
learning
the
racing.
I
But
you
know
I'm
very
thankful
to
you
and
you
know
how
you
do
Outreach
to
the
community,
and
you
know
more
people
on
the
city
council
should
actually
go
out
and
entertain
with
our
on
your
unhoused
neighbors,
because
we're
not
homeless
anymore,
because
I
get
disability.
So
there's
no
reason
why,
if
I
had
affordable
housing
to
get
I
would
be
able
to
live
in
comfortably
and
continue
to
contribute
to
this
beautiful
community
that
I've
become
a
part
of
I
want
to
thank
you,
Jesus,
sorry,
but
yeah.
I
So
the
meeting
is
Tuesday
June
13th
at
5
30
at
the
Largo
Police
public
library
and
I'm.
Expecting
a
very,
very
big
turnout.
I
would
like
to
see
some
of
y'all
there
as
well,
because
I
also
just
had
a
nine
day
stint
and
winmore,
which
was
a
little
bit
of
Heaven
in
hell,
because
you
know
that's
a
whole
town
and
place,
but
I
also
encourage
their
professionals
at
that
place
as
well
to
show
up
in
support
of
mental
health
services
and
more
funding.
J
The
veterans,
Advocate
and
I
might
be
repeating
myself
in
some
of
these
things,
but
that's
what
retirees
do,
because
we
have
a
new
team.
That's
forming
up
in
regards
the
relationship
with
Miguel
Air
Force
Base
I
have
been
working
with
John
Jennings
on
getting
Fourth
of
July
celebration.
Get
the
military
involved.
J
He
had
been
at
the
bull
Simmons
banquet
before,
but
for
some
reason
he
didn't
get
an
invitation.
So
I
was
working
on
that
that
as
well,
no,
he
resigned.
Both
men
misconduct
shown.
So
we
had
the
banquet
and
the
one
of
the
final
acts.
I
guess
the
chief's
water
was
he
was
there
was
our
city
manager
and
two
people
were
honored
that
I
didn't.
They
were
going
to
be
out
there,
but
I
knew
him
well,
one
was
Wayne
Fisk
Peter
and
the
Sonterra
way
to
get
the
pows
out
of
Vietnam.
J
He
was
my
mentor
when
I
was
a
lieutenant
Scott
Air
Force
Base
and
Major
General
Harrow
passed
away
from
cancer
before
he
did.
That
I
had
a
lithograph
signed
by
and
I
presented
to
Courtney
Robinson
Channel
10,
who
was
the
emcee
her
found
a
special
operator.
He
died
in
94.,
but
he
was
in
the
ass
again
that
way
to
rescue
Kurt
news
and
just
cause
and
I
gave
that
to
her.
But
I
didn't
know
what
it
was
going
to
be
there.
J
So
I
was
glad
to
point
out
that
it
was
signed
by
General
Harold
We,
Are
Family,
but
that's
one
of
the
things
I've
talked
about
in
the
other
hiring
people
said
we
don't
want
an
inclusive
military
wheel,
family.
We
want
to
be
inclusive,
so
I've
kind
of
been
working
on
some
things,
but
I
have
to
put
them
on
hold
the
wing.
J
Commander
Colonel
Bingham
cheeky
they're
very
amenable
to
opening
up
a
relationship
and
kind
of
duplicated
off
Scott
Air
Force
Base,
where
they
marry
up
with
certain
organizations
like
starting
to
detective
Kevin
Chambers
at
mcdill,
and
he
was
like
Mary
up
at
the
Clearwater
Police
and
he's
Civil
Service,
which
is
actually
is
good
because
you
have
continuity
because
people
get
promoted,
they
retire,
they
get
orders
out.
But
today,
that's
why
I'm
not
my
usual
casual
retiree
dress.
J
We
had
an
awesome
briefing
over
in
tampons
by
Central
Command
and
we
got
to
find
out
what
a
modern
Central
Command
in
the
Middle
East
is
like
now
and
they're
very
amenable
to
having
people
like
here
or
our
friends,
our
neighbors
in
there
for
a
briefing
in
the
command
post,
unclassified
so
other
than
that
I'll
get
back
in
my
cage.
Thank
you.
K
Thank
you
good
evening,
mayor
and
City
Council
Members
I'm
here
today
in
support
of
Clearwater.
As
everybody
knows,
Clearwater
is
known
for
its
beaches
and
also
for
its
wildlife
and
I
moved
here
five
years
ago
and
I
moved
into
a
retirement
home
because
I
wanted
to
have
a
place
for
when
I
retired
wasn't
quite
you
know
ready
to
retire
at
that
time,
but
it
had
at
least
over
a
hundred,
maybe
120
oak
trees,
beautiful
beautiful
and
I'm
from
the
country,
so
I
loved
it
and
I
was
very
pleased
and
then
the
park
wanted.
K
The
community
wanted.
The
corporation
wanted
to
cut
down
the
oak
trees
because
they're
hard
to
manage
and
they
are
a
risk
and
so
clear
water.
At
the
time
the
arborist
went
out
and
said:
okay,
these
could
be
taken
down.
These
shouldn't
be
taken
down
and
then
all
of
a
sudden
Florida
passed
that
law
I
believe
it's
163-045
that
allowed
citizens
to
go
ahead
and
take
down
trees
without
getting
approval.
K
So
they
turned
around
and
put
in
a
request
to
remove
80
of
the
trees
and
I
know
for
a
fact
that
they
took
down
more
than
40
I'm,
not
sure
what
the
exact
number
was,
but
an
extreme
amount.
Some
of
those
Oaks
were
hundreds
of
years
old
and
they
were
gorgeous
and
so
I
noticed.
So
at
the
time
you
know,
I
called
you
know:
I
called
the
mayor.
I
called
the
the
governor
I
called
the
news
stations,
but
it
was
too
late.
K
It
was
already,
but
I
did
notice
that
in
your
you're,
looking
ahead
for
2003,
that
that
was
one
of
your
legislative
objectives
is
to
overturn
that
I've.
Seen
that
on
your
website
and
I
was
excited
about
that.
So
I
went
on
the
website
to
see
if,
where
the
bill
was
and
how
it
was
progressing
and
I
found
out
that
it
actually
died
on
May
5th
in
the
the
Community
Affairs
Community
Committee,
it
was
SB
886.
K
So
I
understand
that
at
this
point
there
might
not
be
a
lot
that
you
can
do.
But
I
have
a
question
for
you
I.
When
I
read
the
details
of
the
actual
citation,
it
said
that
they
had
to
have
an
arborist
say
that
it
it
the
tree
was
dangerous
either
to
a
person
or
to
the
property,
and
I
cannot
believe
that
a
hundred
and
maybe
25,
trees
or
more
are
all
fall
into
that
category.
K
I
looked
at
the
list,
they
just
put
in
another
list
to
take
down
another
23,
32,
trees
and
I,
seen
that
they
have
another
request
coming
through
in
August,
I
did
talk
to
the
manager
some
time
ago.
I
was
at
my
time
and
they
said
that
corporate
wanted
to
take
all
the
trees
out,
except
for
the
palm
tree.
So
that
is
their
intention.
So
if
there's
any
way
that
we
could
have
Clearwater
go
out
and
and
validate
the
I'll
get
back
to
you.
Okay,.
L
M
Okay,
good
evening
my
name
is
Mike
Master
Serio
I'm,
a
resident
Clearwater
I,
want
to
get
up
here
and
say.
Thank
you
to
all
the
council
members
for
the
challenging
ordeal
of
Drew
Street
I
want
to
thank
councilman
Albritton
for
bringing
it
up
because
that
changed
it
and
we
tried
to
do
a
striping,
and
that
thought
it's
better
not
to
do
that,
but
I.
Don't
really
think
that
changing
from
one
lane
to
two
lanes
is
going
to
be
the
solve.
The
problem.
M
I
think
it's
speeding,
whether
it's
35
and
I
agree
with
Beth
35
miles
an
hour
is
good,
whether
it's
75
or
40.
If
we
don't
change
how
people's
habits
are
people
speed,
no
matter
what
and
that's
the
problem
that
causes
a
safety
problem
so
when
whether
it's
one
lane
or
two
you're
still
going
to
have
speeding,
so
we
have
to
enforce
that
the
other
thing
I
one
thing
I'd
like
to
say,
is
hopefully
they'll.
Look
at
the
fact
that
there's
25
bus
stops
between
Osceola
and
13
going
east
and
12
going
west.
M
So
that's
also
going
to
slow
traffic,
so
I
just
want
them
to
make
sure
that
maybe
they
maybe
they
get
with
PSTA
and
reduce
that
or
change
that.
But
that's
another
thing,
I
don't
know
of
any
I,
didn't
see
that
in
any
of
the
reports,
but
anyway,
thank
you
so
much
for
everything
that
you
do
each
and
every
week.
N
Good
evening,
how
are
you
with
Eric
and
I
live
at
800
Moss
Avenue
I
own,
the
house,
also
at
806
Moss
Avenue
and
the
K-pop
Terrace
Subdivision,
and
it
used
to
be
an
unincorporated
and
in
2019
the
city
brought
us
sewers
and
offered
sewers
to
neighborhood
as
an
expansion
and
basically
said
that
if
you
want
to
join
the
sewer
addicts
into
the
city
of
Clearwater,
we'll
hook
the
sewer
to
your
house
and
it
watch
out
fantastic
everybody's
great.
N
He
gave
us
a
great
price
on
it,
and
so
what
happened
was
the
bucket
was
reasonable.
I
had
to
talk
a
few
neighbors
into
doing
it,
and
so
we're
happy.
I
belong
to
Long
Center
now,
and
we
love
the
parks
and
trails,
and
the
thing
is
I'm
asking
for
is
our
Lake
and
our
backyard
Lake
Louise,
which
was
part
of
when
I,
was
unincorporated,
Pinellas
County.
Also,
and
now
the
city
of
Clearwater
is
taking
it
over.
N
Can
we
get
more
treatments
or
do
something
more
here,
but
they
they
say
well
we're
limited
on
what
we
can
do,
because
they
don't
have
control
over
how
much
I
guess
they
could
spend
on
this.
This
league
well
I,
wouldn't
be
complaining
if
other
Lakes
look
like
this
or
ponds,
but
there's
a
pond
two
blocks
down
from
us
on
Oak.
That's
right
at
the
K-pop
entrance
to
the
park,
and
that
is
ours
is
a
fresh
water
spring
fed
Lake.
It's
I've
been
there
for
30
years,
and
it's
never
had
this
issue
before.
N
But
if
the
pond
down
the
street,
which
was
actually
trickier
for
years,
wasn't
clear
and
then
I
go
to
other
Parks
I've
seen
other
lakes
and
they're
all
clear
I'm
like
we
need
something
to
be
done
without
this
Lake
I,
don't
know
what
happened
to
it.
I
have
a
picture
of
it.
If
you'd
like
to
see
it,
the
neighbors
are
very
upset.
I,
said
kind
of
the
person,
I
go
to
I,
said
well,
I
will
go
and
speak
and
see
what
we'll
get
for
this
can
I
just
happens
here.
N
You
so-
and
you
know
it's
always
clear,
so
we're
just
very
upset
and
we're
just
asking
for
somebody
to
send
somebody
out
or
maybe
like
they
checked,
Alligator
Creek
all
the
time
down
there.
They
have
samples,
they
check
the
water.
Maybe
something
happened.
We
don't
understand
why
it
keeps
blooming
and
blooming
and
blooming
and
and
other
Lakes
aren't
so
I
appreciate
your
help
on
this.
Why
don't
you
leave
that.
P
A
couple
things
a
lot
of
people,
don't
know
and
I
don't
know
if
this
is
the
first
time.
Maybe
you
do
or
maybe
Mike
does
Clearwater
got
a
silver
Battlefield
award.
It's
and
there's
two
more
levels:
it's
on
Silver,
gold
and
platinum,
I,
don't
know
if
you've
ever
got
one,
but
the
city
Clearwater
got
a
bestsell
award.
It's
for
mental
health,
I
think
with
the
lady
who
afraid
they
came
up
here
and
talked
about
the
situation
homeless.
That's
a
real
feather
in
our
cap.
P
Getting
an
award
any
of
the
four
categories
for
the
program
we
also
just
did
a
great
job
and
that
the
pastor
or
minister
rank
is
whatever
talked
about
the
safety
of
the
police
and
fire
and
everything,
but
I
think
he
should
mention
or
future
people
might
want
to
mention
the
people
in
the
sanitation
department
and
working
at
the
in
the
sewer
plant
and
if
you've
ever
seen
the
guys
hanging
off
the
back
of
the
truck
that
picks
up
the
stuff
that
the
parade
I
saw
two
guys
on
the
back
of
a
city,
trash
truck
and
it's
starting
to
rain,
and
they
were
trying
to
finish
their
run
and
picking
up
all
the
stuff
that
you
know
when
I
put
stuff
out
of
his
Thorns
or
Nails
I,
put
a
note
or
chop
it
up
or
something
or
I
see
him
I
go
hey,
you
don't
use
your
bare
hands,
and
so
there's
a
lot
to
be
thankful
for
and
Clearwater
we
take
advantage.
P
We
take
it.
Take
it
for
granted,
the
sewers
are
always
going
to
work
and
the
water
is
going
to
be
clean
and
a
lot
of
people
say
they
don't
like
the
taste
of
the
water,
but
most
of
us,
like
the
water.
We
grew
up
with
getting
water.
Pretty
much
from
an
aquifer
is
different
than
when
you
have
a
beautiful,
man-made
Reservoir
I.
Don't
think
we
get
much
down
again
in
Tampa
on
the
reservoir.
That's
man-made!
P
So
anyway,
back
to
Drew,
Street
I
appreciate
mayor
aungs,
who
went
out
there
and
walked
with
me
and
I
understood
his
idea.
I
knew
it
was
going
to
be
very
pricey
and
I
knew
he
wasn't
going
to
agree
to
anything
in
the
millions
of
dollars
and
I
knew.
Councilmember
Albritton
was
not
going
to
go
along
with
a
multi-million
dollar
pilot
study.
If
we
could
have
done
one
in
three
or
four
months
for
minimal
cost,
that's
a
different
story,
but
the
issue
was
not.
P
There's
no
room
on
the
road.
The
gentleman
just
mentioned
about
safety
and
everything.
There's
no
room
before
anybody
has
any
opinion
on
Drew
Street.
They
need
to
really
walk
it,
maybe
more
than
one
time,
because
there's
places
where
there's
22
inches
Max
for
a
pedestrian
and
the
pedestrians
are
not
speeding
but
they're
the
ones
that
speeding
cars
are
going
by
so
I
hope.
We
stay
the
course
I
know
a
lot
of
people
will
be
involved.
The
design
is
far
from
complete
I
hope
we
do
stay
with
a
sweet
skate
plan.
Thank
you
very
much.
Q
Basically,
I've
been
up
here
several
times
about
Stevenson's,
Creek
and
basically
Stevenson's
Creek
starts
at
Glen
Oaks
and
then
ends
down
at
the
bay
right
by
the
clear
line
and
I've
been
trying
to
get
it
cleaned
up.
I'm
asking
people
to
do
stuff,
but
I
haven't
had
much
help
so
I've
been
doing
stuff.
These
are.
We've
got
dumpsters
that
are
sitting
on
drains
all
around
Stevenson's,
Creek
and
I've
complained.
So
here
are
some.
This
is
Glenn
Oaks.
So
that's
what
it
looked
like.
We
had
people
come
out.
Q
That's
after
we
cleaned
it
up
a
lot
better,
I
didn't
I
just
this
is
just
going
to
go
on
and
on
it's
just
pictures
of
trash
in
Atlanta
and
it
goes
from
Glen
Oaks
I
skipped
through
there's
some
cleanup
people,
people
came
out
and
helped
I
had
other
people
me
and
when
it
was
low
tide,
you
could
pick
it
all
up.
That's
after
it
was
clean,
I
mean
you've
got
little
bills
out
there.
You
have
trash,
that's
my
phone.
Q
So
here
you
have
trash
and
the
water
was
low.
You
could
have
gone
out
and
picked
it
up,
but
the
problem
is
storm.
Water
doesn't
pick
it
up.
There's
some
bags
of
trash
it's
at
Glen
Oaks.
This
is
one
night.
We
picked
up,
14
beds,
big
bags
of
trash,
and
this
is
after
it
rained
the
next
day
that
big
rain
it
all
washed
back
in.
So
that's
the
that's
the
trash
washing
back
in
it's
trash,
walking
washing
back
into
Glen
Oaks.
Q
There
and
clean
it
up
when
it
was
low
tide,
but
you
can't
get
any
more
now
you
have
trash
going
down,
Stevenson's
Creek
toward
the
golf
course
I'm
going
to
skip
over
the
golf
course,
and
this
is
basically
in
Stevenson's
Creek.
This
is
what
you
see.
You
see
a
styrofoam.
If
there's
people
living
underneath
these
Bridges,
we
need
to
I
mean
I,
don't
know
if
people
could
help
the
business.
Basically,
what
the
shoreline
looks
like
and
mainly
on
City
properties
like
across
the
street
from
the
water,
that's
after
I
cleaned
it
up.
Q
Q
Of
the
bags
that
I
brought
with
me,
I
realized
I,
could
just
pick
up
plastic
bags
and
put
the
trash
into
plastic
bags
everywhere.
I
think
I
picked
up.
16
more
I
mean
it's
ridiculous.
There
are
so
many
styrofoam
cups
out
there.
You
could
build
a
styrofoam
like
giant
Styrofoam
cup,
I,
don't
know,
but
if
it's
all
around
and
it's
just
floating
on
the
mangoes,
you
don't
even
have
to
go
grab
it,
and
this
is
a
little
stuff.
It's
just
floating
everywhere,
and
this
is
the
trash
bags.
Q
Have
anything
on
it,
but
me
and
I
could
barely
move
and
that's
after
I
took
the
other
giant
trash
bags
which
I
left
at
the
top
of
Stevenson's
Creek
and
went
and
picked
up
later
now,
when
I
was
cleaning
up
this
area,
there
was
a
manatee
and
that's
what
it
looked
like
after
I
was
done.
So
please
guys
the
stuff
you
put
in
Stevenson's
Creek
ends
up
in
the
bay
at
the
end.
Okay,
I,
don't
know
how
to
explain
it
anyway.
R
Hi
good
evening
my
name
is
Rebecca.
K
I've
been
a
resident
of
Clearwater
since
1970.
My
mother
grew
up
here.
She
graduated
from
Clearwater
High,
so
I've
been
here
pretty
much
all
my
life
and
I've
lived
off
of
Drew
Street
for
44
years
in
the
same
neighborhood
and
I
live
in
I,
consider
the
most
dangerous
part
of
Drew
Street
between
Saturn
and
Highland
and
Mr
Riordan
a
little
while
ago,
I'm
right
where
the
flashing
sign
is.
R
It
tells
people
when
they're
going
west
how
fast
they're
going
and
I
call
the
police
every
time
54
miles
an
hour
today,
I
saw
somebody
going
down
the
road
you
know
so
I
will
call
I
said:
I,
never
see
an
officer
patrolling
that
area
and
I
wish
that
they
would
do
that
for
the
speed,
I
think
even
35
miles
an
hour
is
sometimes
too
fast,
but
people
don't
don't
adhere
to
the
35
mile
an
hour
speed
limit
in
our
area.
The
other
thing
is
that
lady.
That
was
just
speaking.
R
We
have
a
lot
of
Revenue
that
comes
into
the
city
of
Clearwater
and
I.
Wish
that
you
guys
would
spend
it
some
other
place
than
on
the
beach
and
downtown
I
hate
the
beach
I.
Don't
go
there.
My
daughter
works
there.
I
will
not
go
down
there
because
it
is
not
the
Sleepy
Little
Beach
I
grew
up
on
anymore,
and
it's
quite
disappointing.
R
So
if
you
guys
could
just
consider
the
residents
of
Clearwater
not
focus
so
much
on
the
beach
number
one
USA
Today,
so
we're
going
to
get
a
slew
more
tourist
and
with
the
true
Street
situation,
it's
untenable.
It
is
going
to
be
untenable
and
I
know
that
I've
spoken
to
councilman,
for,
in
fact,
men
and
mayor
Hibbard
about
this
situation.
R
The
whole
true
Street
thing,
because
it's
a
great
concern
for
mine
and
it
has
been
for
44
years
since
I've
lived
in
that
same
subdivision
and
I
would
appreciate
you
guys,
just
considering
the
residents
of
our
city
and
the
safety
of
the
residents
and
I
appreciate
your
time,
and
thank
you
very
much
and
I.
Just
really
would
consider
your
consideration
for
them.
T
Good
evening
Council
hi,
my
name
is
Trevor
Racine
I
am
the
chair
of
the
Clearwater
Pride
Community
Committee
I
just
received
our
Proclamation
for
LGBT
pride
month
in
a
parking
lot
down
the
street
and
figured
I'd
come
and
just
say.
Thank
you.
So
I
want
to
quickly
share
a
few
words
about
what
this
means
to
our
community
and
just
again.
Thank
you
all
this,
this
folder
that
I
was
holding
earlier.
This
is
the
strength
of
our
community
and
its
allies,
and
it
goes
further
than
just
the
folder
and
the
piece
of
paper.
T
It's
about
the
visibility
so
I
want
you
all
to
know
that
the
visibility
means
more
than
you
probably
will
ever
see
and
I
again.
Thank
you
for
issuing
this
Proclamation.
Our
strength
is
most
present
when
we
don't
have
to
back
down
to
hate
and
when
we
don't
back
down
to
hate
it's
most
present
when
we
disprove
their
bigoted
hate-filled
campaign
slogans
and
when
we
uplift
our
communities
instead
of
piloting
into
those
hate-filled
campaign
slogans.
So
again,
thank
you
for
taking
a
strong
stance
against
this
through
these
tumultuous
times
and
all
the
ones
ahead.
T
U
T
I
just
want
you
all
to
remember
that
queer
Joy
is
essential
to
queer
survival.
It
really
really
is
and
I
mentioned
visibility.
It
is
one
of
the
strongest
pieces
to
queer
survival
and
I
want
you
all
to
take
that
home
with
you
and
really
think
about
what
that
means,
and
it's
it's
people
seeing
people
that
look
like
them
all
around
the
world
around
them.
So
again,
thank
you
for
this
Proclamation.
We
will
all
be
better
for
it
and
I
hope
you
all
will
join
us
on
the
rest
of
this
month's
festivities.
V
V
You
claim
Miss
Beckman
to
be
responsive
to
the
citizens
and
you
solicit
feedback,
well,
I'm,
a
citizen,
and
you
can
talk
about
helping
a
homeless
and
making
housing
more
affordable,
but
in
reality
I.
Don't
believe
you
really
care
when
you
ignore
a
citizen
like
myself,
your
hypocrisy
and
cowardice
is
on
Full
display.

S
X
Evening,
mayor
council
members,
Mark
cater
Parks

Recreation
director
Article
2
of

of
the

the

the

and

The

our

article
3
of
chapter

deals
with
a
special
event
application
and
permitting
these
articles
have
not
been
amended
since
2014.
this
amendment
before
you
tonight.
We
are
bringing
forward
basically
for
clarification,
modification
and
revision
of
some
of
the
use
and
the
regulations
that
we
have
in
our
parks
I'm
available
to
answer
any
questions
you
might
have.
Q
Has
you
guys
renaming
the
Clearwater
Country
Club
to
I
mean
Clearwater
Country
Club,
which
has
been
around
for
a
hundred
years?
Here's
their
website.
They
talk
about
all
the
stuff.
They've
done
they'd
like
the
name,
but
you
guys
are
changing
it
with
this
thing
to
the
Clearwater,
Golf,
Club
and
part
of
my
whole
thing
with
Stevenson
street
trying
to
get
it
cleaned
up.
I
had
an
issue
with
the
golf
club,
so
I
was
sort
of
interested
in.
Q
Q
The
golf
club
after
the
company-
that's
managing
it,
so
that's
just
a
little
bonus
there.
The
golf
club
sits
in
the
middle
of
Stevenson's
Creek,
it's
listed
as
impaired
I'm,
trying
to
figure
out
why
it's
repaired
when
the
water
goes
into
the
golf
course,
it's
clear
it's
not
trash
all
in
it,
but
that's
to
be
considered.
Those
dumpsters
everywhere
when
it
comes
out.
Q
Is
this
pea,
green
soup
and
so
and
there's
Dead
Fish
by
the
exit
way
and
so
I
started
looking
at
it
10
30
one
day,
I
noticed
that
they
were
doing
Sprinklers
and
you're
not
supposed
to
run
sprinklers
after
10.
So
that
was
one
thing
and
then
I
found
out
that
they
were
pumping
water
into
a
couple
places.
This
is
by
the
clubhouse.
Q
You
can
hear
it.
This
is
a
video,
let's
see!
Well,
let's
see:
okay,
there's
a
video
of
it
pumping
water.
Then
you
got
a
car
wash
station
and
that
goes
into
the
creek.
And
then
you
have
another
thing
of
water
pumping
in
at
the
end
of
the
creek,
and
so
it's
a
video
on
it.
You
can
sear
it,
and
this
is
right.
At
the
end,
right
before
it
goes
into
Stevenson's
Creek
you're
pumping
something
in
I
complained
to
this
County.
The
county
sent
me
to
the
city.
Q
The
city
said
inspector
basically
said
everything
was
fine
and,
like
city
does
cleanups
on
the
creek,
which
was
a
lie.
They
never
do
and
they're.
Basically,
her
monitor
so
I
I
mean
I.
Didn't
like
that
response.
I
sent
one
to
the
Florida
Department
of
Environmental
Protection.
They
basically
came
out
and
they
said
that
when
they
got
out
there,
they
couldn't
find
the
pipe
that
pipe.
That
I
showed.
Q
That
was
pumping
water
and
that's
gone,
and
that's
on
May
25th
and,
let's
see,
and
also
you
guys
are
going
to
have
to
replace
you
guys
are
replacing
the
entire
sprinkler
irrigation
system
at
at
the
Clearwater
Country
Club
or
named
The
Country
Club,
whatever
you
guys
are
going
to
need
and
that's
a
huge
expense
and
that's
not
part
of
the
contract
for
them
to
pay
for
it.
The
city
is
going
to
have
to
pay
for
that
irrigation.
Now,
I
went
online
and
just
typed.
S
Q
Much
is
irrigation
1.2
to
2.3
million
dollars
to
prove
Golf,
Course
Irrigation
in
that's
what
the
city
is
going
to
have
to
pay,
so
the
club
can
continue
and
here's
here's
the
contract.
If
you
want
to
look
at
the
contract
they
sent
again
to
y'all
I,
haven't
looked
I
mean.
Basically,
you
guys
are
giving
can't
give

A
X
I
would
like
to
say
that
the
golf
course
is
operated.
At
least
the
city
council
approved
I,
believe
it
was
back
in
two
thousand
12
2011
and
basically
the
irrigation
system
is
not
paid
for
by
the
city.
The
vendor
that
is
operating.
This
pays
for
all
the
operating
costs,
all
of
it,
as
well
as
all
the
capital
costs.
They
have
already
invested
well
over
1.2
million
dollars
into
the
city's
golf
course
they
operated
for
the
city.
X
They
also
provide
us
with
three
percent
of
the
gross
income
that
they
make
every
year,
as
well
as
a
quarterly
payment
back
to
the
city
as
well.
So
there
there
is
no
citizen
expense
to
this.
Actually,
it's
an
asset
to
the
city
that
we
receive.
The
citizens
of
the
city
have
the
opportunity
to
play
golf
at
this
golf
course.
75
percent
of
the
people
that
play
this
golf
course
are
basically
General
from
the
general
public
or
from
visitors
or
guests
that
come
to
Clearwater
and
answer
any
other
questions
about
it.
X
E
Art
so
I've
been
with
Kathy
a
number
of
times
she
and
I
cleaned
Glen
Oaks
Park
in
one
of
those
pictures
when
the
when
the
water
was
down
a
lot
and
and
I
bike
over
Stevenson's
Creek,
so
know
about
some
of
that
trash
and
have
done
cleanups
with
Spring
Branch
neighborhood,
where
all
the
trash
is
in
those
mangroves,
so
I'm
familiar
with
it.
E
But
now
is
not
the
time
to
answer
I
mean
during
the
council
session,
but
I
think
Kathy's
images
of
washing
golf
carts
or
washing
whatever
you're
washing
that
might
be
too
close
to
the
Creek
or
whatever
discharge
might
be
going
into.
The
creek
is
I'd
like
to
learn
more,
and
so
you
know,
I
just
want
to
make
sure
it's
communicating
that
it's
not
going
to
be
dismissed,
I'll,
look
into
it.
X
No
matter
of
fact,
the
two
pipes
that
were
referred
to
they
were
put
in
when
the
reclaimed
water
was
put
in
this
golf
course
was
on
a
weld
system
for
many
many
years
until
reclaim
was
available
and
reclaimed.
One
of
the
golf
course
to
be
one
of
the
first
ones,
because
guess
what
they
can
use
a
lot
of
reclaimed
water,
if
that's
course,
which
is
what
they
did.
X
The
two
pipes
that
are
there
will
call
like
blow
off
pipes,
they're
literally
there,
so
that
when
you
have
to
repair
an
irrigation
line,
you
get
air
in
it.
You
have
to
the
water
drains
out,
you
get
air,
and
so,
in
order
to
get
the
irrigation
working
again,
you
have
to
flush
it
out
until
you
get
pressure
back
and
that's
what
those
two
lines
were,
they
were
put
in
and
stalled
many
many
years
ago
we
have
since
already
removed
both
of
those
lines.
E

X
Cable,

director

is
looking
for
your
direction
regarding
the
establishment
of
a
new
Council

in
5-8
to
govern
the
use
and
distribution
of
tickets.

as

This
is
needed
in
order
to
update
and
clarify
the
current
processes,
as
well
as
address
address.
The
ticket
allocation
from
the
new

license

between
the

L
The
Fifth
Amendment
to
the
Clearwater
code
of
ordinances,
chapter
21,
offenses,
repealing
section
21.12
relating
to
prostitution
and
pass
ordinance
96
75-23
on
first
reading.
Z
I
So
I'm
just
curious
to
know
because
again,
I
have
actually
I'm
going
to
speak
on
the
next
couple.
Just
because
I
like
to
ask
questions
and
educate
myself.
So
what
exactly
about
this
ordinance
so
like?
What
are
they.
Z
O
Z
I
It
I'm
Jennifer
I'm,
just
questioning
like
because
I
want
to
make
sure,
like
the
safety
of
you,
know
the
community
and
stuff
so
that
going
to
stay
basically.
L
Z
I
So
this
one
kind
of,
like
you
know
it's
a
big
problem
here
like
where
do
you
expect
them
to
go?
Where
you
expect
them?
You
know
if
they
don't
have
a
residence
to
be
able
to
even
try
to
get
a
job.
You
know
I'm
highly
expected
to
you
know
and
then
you're
only
just
adding
more
trouble
to
them
by
giving
them
a
ticket
and
citing
them.
For
that,
you
know
like
we
need
to
that's
homeless
again.
You
know.
Z
O
Z
D
Z
D
And
then
the
way
I
see
it
is
we're
trying
to
change
habits
right
or
we're
trying
to
send
a
message.
Don't
let
her
on
our
beach,
you
know
and
be
good
neighbors
I'm
think
what
are
our
options
or
what
are
your
thoughts
on
on
educational
program?
D
You
know,
even
if
it's
like
having
a
slogan,
you
know
keep
our
beach
number
one
get
rid
of
your
butts
or
you
know
something
like
that.
I
mean
honestly,
like
the
receptacles,
because,
if
we're
just
gonna
ban
I
don't
see
how
it's
gonna
change
the
behavior.
If
there's
no
I,
don't
know
I,
just
I'm
kind
of
wondering
what
the
best
solution
would
be,
rather
than
just
a
bang
I.
Z
Can
tell
you
this
if
this
was
to
go
through
we're
working
on
some
informational
material
that
we
could
pass
out
to
the
hotels
to
the
beach
beach,
hotels,
the
restaurants
and
even
the
visitors,
tourists
that
visit
there
and
educate
them.
That
way,
also
working
with
our
Community
Partners
to
help
establish
that
an
understanding
and
change
the
attitude
of
the
people
out
there.
D
You
think
about
so,
if
you
don't,
if
we're
trying
to
send
a
message,
do
not
smoke
on
our
beach.
We
have
a
lot
of
European
tourists
and
smoking
still
not
illegal.
So
how
can
we
change
the
habits
and
still
keep
our
beach
beautiful
and
I
was
thinking,
maybe
designated
smoking
areas
having
smoking
or
cigarette
disposable,
I
guess
units
I,
don't
know
something
to
change
your
behavior
rather
than
just
ban
it.
Z
I
think
the
best
way
we
can
do
it,
it's
going
to
take
some
time
to
educate
everybody,
as
you
know,
I
think
using
our
social
media
platforms
and
various
other
platforms
with
the
informational
cards
and
getting
that
message
out
there.
As
far
as
these
designated
smoking
areas,
I
think
that
would
be
very
difficult
to
enforce,
because
you'd
have
to
have
so
many
along
the
beach.
They
could
simply
just
walk
to
the
beach
walk
and
smoke
out
there.
Yeah.
D
I
understand
that
I
was
just
thinking
sort
of
like
sending
the
message.
You
know,
and
we
know
you're
bet
it's
banned,
but
we're
not
going
to
ostracize
you
completely.
Well,
here's
a
section.
You
know
what
I
mean
it's
all
about
perception
as
well
right,
because
sometimes
smokers
do
feel
like
they're
being
criminalized.
Y
So
I
was
reading
through
the
ordinance
and
I
can't
find
it
now.
I
brought
it
with
me,
but
I
remember,
said
something
about
public
bathing
beaches
and
it
gives
a
description
of
what
a
bathing
Beach
is,
but
it
said
from
the
basically,
this
is
from
the
mean
high
water
mark
to
the
I
guess,
flood
controls
line,
or
whatever
I
mean
it,
doesn't
really
take.
Y
Z
Y
But
people
can
smoke
a
Long
Beach
Walk.
Is
that
correct?
Correct
I
mean
it
might
help
to
put
I
mean
something
where
people
could
put
their
butts
on:
Beach
Walk,
just
every
50
yards
or
something
put
something
with
people
and
then
maybe
what
we
could
do
is
we
could
like
Alina
was
saying
we
could
have
a
program
that
would
not
make
it
as
harsh
like
no
smoking,
but
something
like
please
help
us
keep
our
environment
clean,
and
you
know
I
heard
some
great
ideas
this
afternoon.
Y
I
had
some
phone
calls
in
fact
Sherry
holloman's.
Here
she
called
and
has
a
great
ideas
for
making
it
more
friendly.
Instead
of
you
know,
sounding
like
if
you
smoke
don't
come
here
to
Clearwater
Beach
I.
Z
Y
That
that
we
have
to
be
pretty
much
firm
in
the
ordinance,
but
in
the
way
we
could
bring
it
out,
maybe
maybe
the
chamber
could
help
and
we
could
put
some
signs
up
and
maybe
put
these
receptacles
where
people
would
you.
X
Y
E
Well,
thank
you,
I
think
you
know
it's
so
the
county
has
adopted
this
correct,
so
we
can
partner
with
the
county
as
well,
and-
and
you
know,
no
smoking
on
the
beach
means
no
smoking
on
the
beach
and
we
can
kind
of
ease
into
it.
I
would
think
with
some
warnings
but
to
say
that
the
ban
will
be
used
as
a
tool
for
Education
rather
than
citing
people
on
the
beach
I.
E
Z
E
E
There
yeah-
and
we
can
do
that
too,
with
the
smoking
but
I
I
get
that
there's
a
learning
curve.
But
if
we
have
an
ordinance
that
says
no
smoking,
it
means
there's
no
smoking
on
the
beach
I
think,
there's
Grace
of
a
warning
period
and
more
signage
along
beachwalk
and
more
you
know
cigarette
unit
disposal
receptacles
or
whatever
they
are,
but
yeah
I
mean.
The
point
is
to
make
a
dent
in
all
those
cigarette
buds.
E
AB
Good
evening,
mayor
and
city
council,
I'm,
Sherry,
heilman
I'm
tonight
representing
ocean
allies
and
our
ocean
allies
board
I
have
several
people
from
our
board
here
this
evening.
The
general
consensus
with
the
ocean
allies
board
is
that
we
have
done
bands
before
or
tried
to
do.
Bands
before
ban
is
a
word
words
matter
in
order
to
make
this
work,
we're
going
to
need
to
do
something
that
gives
our
guests
a
place
to
put
a
cigarette
butt.
AB
We
need
to
have
receptacles,
we
need
to
have
signage
and
yes,
I,
agree
it's
a
time
for
us
to
teach
it's
a
time
for
us
to
teach
a
different
way
of
life.
Nobody
hates
cigarette,
butts
more
than
ocean
allies
and
I'm
pretty
sure
that
this
band
is
about
cigarette
butts
on
the
beach
one
of
the
things
that
I
am
thrilled
to
see
that
we're
all
open-minded
and
we're
having
this
conversation,
because
there
is
got
to
be
something
done
about
the
disconnect
between
the
sand
and
the
sidewalk.
AB
AB
If
we
ban
smoking
on
Clearwater
Beach
on
the
sand,
what's
going
to
happen,
the
cigarettes
are
going
to
now
be
on
the
sidewalk
they're,
already
all
over
the
sidewalk
they're
already
in
all
the
gutters.
All
of
those
cigarette
butts
if
they're
tripled
in
the
amount
on
the
sidewalks
are
gonna
end
up
on
the
beach
anyway
and
they're,
going
to
end
up
in
the
waterways,
which
is
what
we
are
trying
to
avoid
and
I've
done.
Some
studies
and
I've
done
some
studies
on
cities
that
have
tried
this.
Like
Miami.
It's
not
working.
AB
People
don't
want
ocean
allies,
we're
teachers,
we
teach
you
to
use
compostables,
we
teach
you
to
use
something
other
than
styrofoam.
We
teach
you
with
the
products
and
the
lifestyle
that
you
choose
to
live
is
going
to
be
better
for
where
we
live
better
for
our
environment,
better
for
our
marine
life,
and
we
want
to
do
the
same
thing
with
this.
We
don't
want
to
alienate
our
visitors
by
putting
the
word
ban
out
there.
AB
I
went
to
Indian
Rocks
Beach
this
morning
and
I
walked
about
a
mile
on
the
beach
and
they
have
these
signs
with
their
receptacles,
and
they
have
these
cutesy
little
things
that
you
know
something
about.
Their
Turtle
I
would
like
to
see
us
have
an
ordinance
in
place.
That
is
just
for
cigarette
butts,
whether
you
throw
it
out
your
car
window
or
you
drop
it
on
the
sidewalk
or
you
drop
it
at
imagine,
clear
water
or
you
drop
it
on
the
beach
and
it
says
you're
going
to
get
a
fine
for
this.
AB
S
AB
Minute,
okay,
anyway,
these
are
all
over
the
place
and
I
worked
about
a
mile
on
the
beach
today
down
Indian,
Rocks,
Beach
and
I
just
want
us
to
take
a
page
out
of
the
Playbook
from
our
neighbors.
If
our
neighbors
can
do
this
and
I
can
walk
down
and
only
see
one
cigarette
butt,
then
I
think
that's
an
amazing
feat.
Universities
across
our
country
have
tried
this
for
over
a
decade
and
it's
not
working
if
you're
a
smoker
and
you
want
to
smoke
you're
going
to
smoke.
AB
We
need
to
make
it
something
that
is
making
our
beach
approachable
and
the
headline
that
we're
the
number
one
beach
doesn't
need
to
change.
To
now
we're
the
number
one
beach,
that's
Banning
everything,
and
so
we
want
our
visitors
to
come
and
again
I
agree.
We
need
to
get
to
the
hotels,
the
hotels
when
the
guests
check
in
they
need
to
be
told
if
you
flip
your
cigarette
butt
out
of
the
car
window.
AB
If
a
police
officer
is
behind
you,
there's
a
good
chance,
you're
going
to
get
a
ticket,
so
this
is
about
littering,
and
this
is
about
cigarette
littering
and
we
really
think
we
can
make
a
difference
in
in
the
right
way.
I
Great
and
I'm,
actually
a
smoker
so
but
I
can't
be
proud
to
say
that
I
don't
ever
leave
anything
around
I.
Make
sure
to
put
my
stuff
and
I
can
say
that
if
the
the
tools
are
there,
the
receptacles,
you
know
most
time
like
with
the
trash
cans
most
times
people
are
going
to
use.
If
it's
there,
it's
got
to
be
there.
You
know
so,
but
I'm
trying
to
do
my
best
to
quit
smoking,
but
that's
not
I
mean
if
you've
ever
if
you've
never
smoke.
I
It's
not
that
easy
so
to
quit,
but
I'm
I'm,
all
in
favor
and
like
trying
to
get
the
word
out
like
hey.
You
know
like
where
the
warnings
and
stuff
come
from.
You
know
like
hey.
We
have
receptacles
for
y'all
blah
blah
blah,
and
you
know
there
does
have
to
be
some
consequences.
For
you
know
you
can't
just
keep
doing
it
over
and
over
again
and
expect.
You
know
you're
not
going
to
get
slack
with
something.
So
I
I
agree
with
that
you
know,
but
there
does
need
to
be
the
social
media
president's
presence.
I
So
you
know
like
hey:
let's:
let's
keep
our
beaches
clean
for
everybody,
you
know
so,
and
they
carry
around
bottled
waters
all
kinds
of
stuff.
That's
what
I
do
with
mine,
I
put
mine,
you
know
my
aunt
could
see
was
that
was
one
of
our
biggest
pet
peeves
was
don't
ever
throw
a
cigarette
butt
out
the
cars.
K
You
know
when
the
straw
issue
came
out
right
when,
and
everybody
went
to
paper
straws
because
of
the
environmental
impact.
If
we
take
an
approach
like
that,
especially
with
our
visitors
and-
and
we
say
you
know
some
some
kind
of
slogan
that
helped
us
save
our
Eco
environment,
please
do
not
smoke
on
the
beach.
There
are
receptacles.
You
know
on
the
sidewalk
for
you
to
use
something
like
that,
it
it
it.
W
W
Name
is
Dolores
Preston
and
my
concern
is
the
trash
pickup.
You
know
Largo.
W
We
need
at
least
twice
a
week
pick
up
between
June
and
September
to
modify
this
y'all
y'all
cut
out
twice
a
week
pick
up,
but
y'all
didn't
change.
The
price
probably
changed.
A
A
W
Agenda,
okay,
okay,
so
now
then
I
want
to
talk
about.
Is
North
Greenwood
all
right.
There
we
go.
We
haven't
received
a
half,
a
million
dollars
of
the
funding
that
was
announced
it
to
us
and
I
want
to
know
the
binary
lines
and
where
did
the
money
go?
Thank
you.
U
Good
evening
my
name
is
Jared
Leon
I'm,
the
chair
of
the
environmental
Advisory
board
for
the
city
of
Clearwater
I,
wanted
to
come
out
to
read
the
letter
that
our
board
submitted
to
the
city,
council
and
city
manager
a
couple
weeks
ago,
or
a
week
or
so
ago.
I
also
just
before
reading
a
letter.
I
wanted
to
say
that
the
policy
change
is
I,
think
trying
to
give
people
flexibility
and
not
infringe
on
their
rights,
while
balancing
those
rights
for
others
to
enjoy
the
beach
in
our
parks.
U
So
mayor,
city
manager,
city
council,
the
internal
Advisory
Board
applauds
efforts
to
reduce
trash
and
litter
in
the
community,
and,
to
that
end
the
board
supports
ordinance
968-2-3,
which
would
prohibits
smoking
on
Clearwater
Beach
and
at
parks
throughout
the
city
as
a
way
to
reduce
litter
of
discarded
cigarettes.
U
Chief
of
police
Michael
Walnut
gave
the
board
of
thoughtful
presentation
on
May
17th
of
the
ordinance,
which
includes
why
this
step
would
be
necessary.
Cigarette
butts
are
a
leading
form
of
litter.
Not
only
is
the
trash
pervasive
cigarette
filters
are
made
from
cellulose
acetate,
which
breaks
down
over
time
spreading
into
smaller
pieces.
One
solid
filter
ends
up
being
thousands
of
tiny
microplastics
according
to
the
National
Oceanic
and
Atmospheric
Administration
E-cigarettes
are
also
a
growing
environmental
concern
and
would
be
prohibited
as
part
of
the
ordinance
already.
U
The
City
of
St
Petersburg
passed
an
ordinance
restricting
the
use
of
tobacco
at
its
beaches
and
parks
and
Pinellas
County
leaders
are
developing
or
already
have
developed
rules
to
prohibit
cigarettes
at
its
beaches,
the
city
of
Colorado
environmental
advisory
border,
just
the
city
council
to
adopt
ordinance
9680-2-3.
Thank
you
for
your
consideration.
Thank.
A
L
Would
like
to
I'm
gonna.
D
A
Possibly,
as
she
said
in
the
call
referred
to
me
today,
promoting
smoke-free
environment
instead
of
saying
it's
a
let's
see
how
it
goes
and
tweak
it.
We
get
to
get
some
of
the
receptacles
out
there
along
beachwalk
and
along
Mandalay
down
to
councilman
Robert
and
sit
down
for
Palm
Pavilion
area.
E
You
know
and
I
guess
you
know
I.
Probably
anybody
about
problem
with
the
language,
but
you
know
the
word
band
has
certain
connotations
is
a
little
stronger,
but
you
could
say
you
know.
Smoking
is
not
allowed
on
our
beaches
and
you
know-
and
you
can
you
can
word
it
in
less
harsh
ways.
But
you
know
the
point:
is
we
don't
want
cigarette
butts
on
our
beach
and
the
reality
is
the
large
expanse
of
our
beach
people.
E
If
you're
saying
people
are
going
to
smoke,
they're
not
going
to
get
up
and
walk
20
feet
and
put
a
butt
somewhere
they're
going
to
put
their.
You
know
butts
in
the
sand
because
that's
that's
where
they
are
so
I'm,
okay
for
softening
language
as
far
as
what's
on
signage.
But
the
point
is
that
we
don't
want
smoking
on
our
beaches
with
butt
discards
on
our
beach.
L
O
V
It's
not
my
desire,
Police
Department
should
be
canceled
and
those
Services
contracted
with
the
primary
law
enforcement
agency,
Pinellas
County
Sheriff's
Office.
Likewise,
the
county
also
maintains
Fire
Protection.
It's
bad
management,
Miss
Poirier
to
buy
things
that
cost
millions
of
dollars
a
year
when
they
could
be
done
outsourced
and
for
much
cheaper,
and
then
you
don't
have
to
figure
out
who
you're
going
to
pull
from
one
place
and
put
them
on
top
and
create
a
you
know:
employment,
Jenga!
That's
going
to
crash!
V
V
V
Now
I
did
observe
Mr,
marvelous
presentation
and
I.
Don't
know
why
we
have
all
these
attorneys
on
staff,
but
we
have
to
get
outside
console
opinion
every
single
time.
Something
comes
up.
That's
another
department
you
can
get
rid
of
if
you
have
to
hire
consultants
and
hire
outside
Attorneys
at
every
turn.
What
do
we
need
these
guys
for
what,
according
to
Mr
martos,
he
doesn't
have
any
problem
with
this.
O
L
C
Yes,
sir,
the
staff
does
have
an
update,
as
it
relates
to
the
information
regarding
Drew
Street.
We
do
have
a
brief
presentation
if
that's
okay,
this
is
not
something
that
will
be
voted
on
by
the
council,
there's
no
action
being
taken
tonight.
This
is
merely
just
an
update
from
the
meeting
that
we
took
place
on
Wednesday
and.
A
AC
AC
They
had
concerns
that
that
type
of
pilot
would
not
accurately
mimic
the
proposed
project
and
from
a
traffic
operations
perspective
so
that,
hence
they
wouldn't
really
consider
it
a
pilot.
They
are
very
open
to
doing
like
a
phased
type,
construction
approach
or
or
basically
a
pilot
to
when
they
moving
forward
with
their
design
to
then
construct
the
project
in
a
phased
approach.
AC
I
think
they're
moving
they're
moving
forward
with
design.
We
expect
60
percent
this
summer.
They
have
run
into
some
delays.
They
just
finished.
Their
survey
looks
like
they're
going
to
have
to
get
some
temporary
construction
easements
to
do
some
of
the
new
signals,
so
they
are
envisioning
a
slight
DeLay
So.
They
anticipate
Construction
in
late
24
early
25..
AC
They
also
offered
up
that
they
could
do
a
deep
dive
on
a
more
advanced
traffic
analysis,
so
that
will
include
some
micro
simulations,
which
is
basically
a
pilot,
but
in
the
computer
model,
type
of
thing,
they'll
coordinate
with
the
city
and
our
consultant
extensively.
We
can
give
them
input
on
what
other
parallel
roadway
corridors
to
look
at.
Besides
just
drew,
we
will
give
them
updated
information
on
the
developments
downtown.
They
think
that
project
that
analysis
will
take
four
to
six
months
around
150
000,
and
they
will
cover
that.
D
I
would
like
to
have
F
dot
come
before
before
us.
I
have
just
a
couple
of
questions
that
I'm
sure
they
would.
They
would
be
able
to
answer,
but
thank
you
for
the
quite
detailed,
but
one
of
the
things
I
did
want
to
talk
about
with
Epcot
is
the
it
went
from
late
20.
It
was
supposed
to
be
like
next
year
2024.
Now
it's
early
2025
I
was
wondering
how
that
was
going
to
affect
funding,
because
there
was
such
a
big
concern
about
any
delay.
Y
Y
Yeah
and
I
I
did
talk
to
Whit
Blanton
as
well,
and
he
said
the
delay
wasn't
gonna
go
ahead
and
reach
out
to
2025,
but
I
mean
it
sounds
like
we're
moving
forward
as
before.
We
were
talking
about
doing
this,
so
that's
a
good
thing
and
I'm
glad
that
they're
going
to
do
the
simulation.
I
think
that'll
answer
a
lot
of
people's
concerns
and
traffic
study
as
well,
so
I'm
glad
all
that's
coming
into
fruition.
Thank
you.
G
A
Okay-
okay,
all
right,
it's
good
to
hear
they're
going
to
do
without
even
at
their
costs
and
phase
it
in.
If
that's
what
we
want,
but
yeah
we
would
like
to
have
a
I
would
like
to
have
a
presentation
when
they're
ready,
I,
don't
think
we
want
to
rush
that
I
want
to
make
sure
I
want
to.
A
C
A
AC
AC
Stuff
I
think
they've
addressed
most
of
it.
You
know
we
got
the
modeling
efforts
and
the
software
that
we
can't
open,
but
which
is
expected
because
we're
not
modelers
but
I
think
they
answered
all
of
our
questions.
Okay,.
A
E
E
Another
item
that
was
on
our
work
session
agenda
that
was
a
review
of
two
chapters
of
our
comprehensive
plan.
The
quality
places
chapter
in
the
mobility
chapter
I
would
urge
residents
to
review
these.
They
are
phenomenal
chapters
they
describe.
What
do
we
want
our
neighborhoods
and
our
community
to
look
like
how
do
we
want
to
get
around?
Do
we
want
multimodal
Transportation
Safe
Streets
things
like
that?
Other
chapters
include
parks
and
public
spaces
conservation
and
Coastal
management
and
there's
a
chapter
on
support
services.
E
This
is
like
our
constitution
in
the
city
and
it's
called
Clearwater
2045..
There
are
two
meetings
scheduled
at
the
end
of
this
month:
June
27th
at
the
North
Greenwood
rec
center
on
June
29th
at
the
countryside.
Library
both
meetings
are
from
6
to
7,
30
and
I
would
encourage
people
to
attend
those
meetings.
Residents
give
feedback
on
that
Constitution
describing
what
development
and
quality
of
life
Transportation
neighborhood
hoods.
E
Look
like
it's
important,
Jamie
lopko,
who
was
the
Clearwater
Long
Range
planning
manager,
gave
a
fantastic
presentation
on
Monday
and
and
I
think
it's
a
it's
a
comprehensive
plan.
That's
something
really
to
be
very,
very
proud
of,
and
it'd
be
great.
If
people
took
a
look
at
it.
The
other
thing
I
wanted
to
say
is
this:
Saturday
is
the
market
Marie
on
Cleveland
Street?
Next
week
we
have
another
work
session
in
Council
meetings,
so
they're
back
to
back,
which
is
a
little
unusual.
E
Next
Thursday
starts
our
Juneteenth
celebrations,
including
a
family,
Painting
With,
a
Purpose
event,
a
business
expo
a
fashion
show
movie
night
and
a
family
Father's,
Day,
worship
service.
We
also
have
a
few
more
Pride
events,
which
is
exciting.
The
Mercado
was
close
to
completion
and
the
final
touches
are
being
added
to
our
beautiful
Coachman
Park.
So
there's
a
lot
going
on
all
the
while
staff
is
really
busy
with
budget
planning,
filling
open
positions
and
managing
the
day-to-day
operations
of
our
city
really
incredibly
important
work
and
takes
a
truly
dedicated
team.
G
I
don't
know
if
I've
mentioned
this
before,
but
I've
been
occasionally
critical
of
the
Scientology
organization,
but
not
of
scientologists
scientologists
are
good
smart,
dedicated
people
who
were
trying
to
save
the
planet
and
one
of
the
reasons
why
I
know
that
is
because
I've
gotten
to
meet
so
many
folks
who
have
been
scientologists
for
years
and
years
and
years
and
one
particular
man
is,
is
the
fellow
who
was
in
charge
of
the
office
of
special
Affairs,
which
is
the
dirty
tricks
Department
in
Scientology
and
when
I
first
moved
here
in
2000.
G
This
was
the
man
Mike
rinder,
who
was
in
charge
of
doing
a
global
campaign
to
destroy
my
friend,
Bob
Minton,
who
was
having
pis,
followed
me
and
everyone
else
around
everywhere,
and
you
know,
I
I
was
in
my
office
at
the
Lisa
McPherson
trust,
which
is
now
the
way
to
happiness.
Building
and
I
was
editing.
Some
video
of
Mike
render
trying
to
convince
an
officer
to
arrest
us
before
breaking
an
injunction
that
he
put
in
place.
G
G
A
friend
and
that
shook
me
to
my
core
I,
went
what
and
that's
when
I
started
to
learn
about
the
indoctrination
and
the
organizations
like
this
and
and
how
you
can
be
convinced
to
do
things
that
really
are
deplorable,
but
seem
to
be
the
right
thing
to
do
at
the
moment.
G
So
so
Mike
rinder
had
actually
changed.
My
my
thinking
on
scientologists
and
I
appreciate
that
the
reason
I'm
bringing
this
up
tonight
is
a
couple
of
nights
ago.
Mike's
wife
Christy,
mentioned
that
he
is
going
through
a
Health
crisis.
That's
pretty
serious
right
now
and
I
I
wish
him
nothing,
but
the
best
he
has
made
amends
by
working
tirelessly
to
help
people
who
have
been
abused
by
Scientology.
Now
he
he's
the
co-host
with
Leah
Remini
on
Scientology
and
the
aftermath
and
they've
done
a
a
podcast
as
well
continues
to
be
active.
G
So
if
you
want
to
follow
his
story
in
his
progress,
you
can
go
to
Mike
rinderswad.org
and
check
into
some
more
about
Mike
there
and
right
now.
I
just
want
to
say
that
Mike
and
Christy
and
the
kids
I'm
thinking
of
you.
D
Well,
there's
not
much
left
to
say
council,
member
back
when
really
covered
all
the
great
things
so,
but
I
do
want
to
actually
bring
to
life
a
couple
of
things.
Redundancy
is
a
good
thing,
sometimes.
A
D
Is
but
it's
a
lot
of
things
so
like
I,
did
a
great
job
thanks,
so
I've
been
having
quite
a
few
discussions
of
late
about
citizen
engagement
and
the
discussions
go
around
about
the
some
people's
perceptions
that
maybe
their
voice
is
not
being
heard
versus.
Some
people
are
being
heard,
and
so
I
just
want
to
make
very
sure
that
everyone
understands
that
I
am
listening.
D
Really
quick,
but
I
wanna
really
assure
everyone
that
whether
you
are,
though,
one
of
those
people
that
are
here
every
couple
of
weeks
and
consistently
contribute
to
the
you
know,
citizens
to
be
heard
or
that
person
that
just
emails
me
or
calls
me.
It
doesn't
matter
which
format
I
will
be
listening
to
you
and
your
voice
is
equal
to
everyone
else's.
Y
Okay
right
I'm,
going
to
give,
since
we
were
talking
about
Transit
tonight,
I'm
going
to
give
a
PSTA
update.
Psa
leads
away
with
contactless
payments
now
I
think
I
mentioned
this
before
in
February,
three
Transit
agencies
in
Tampa
Florida
area
Hillsborough,
Transit
Authority,
which
is
hard
Pinellas
Suncoast
Transit
Authority,
which
is
PSTA
and
Hernando.
County
Transit
launched
the
first
of
its
kind
regional
contactless
payment
system
in
the
State
of
Florida.
Y
Each
ride
costs
two
dollars
with
a
fair
cap
of
five
dollars
per
day
and
Riders
can
pay
for
their
fare
through
various
payment
methods,
including
Apple
pay.
Google
pay
debit
cards
as
well
as
Flamingo
Fair
smart
card
and
mobile
apps
Flamingo
fairs
allow
a
writer
to
use
the
same
payment
method
across
all
three
agencies,
and
what
this
does?
It
really
helps
Move
Along
people
getting
on
the
bus
because
they
just
they
just
touch
their
car
and
and
go.
Y
Y
So
we
had
a
budget
workshop
on
Wednesday
and
I'm
just
going
to
mention
this
I
talked
to
the
city
manager
about
this
briefly,
but
one
of
the
things
that
PSTA
is
going
to
do
is
cut
back
their
Central
Avenue
trolley
service
because
they
already
have
the
sunrunner
running
kind
of
the
same
route
and
that'll
just
put
people
into
they
get.
They
will
put
them
into
the
Sun
Runner
at
really
a
faster
pace,
so
they're
going
to
decommission
several
of
their
trolleys,
and
so
I
mentioned
that
maybe
PS.
Y
Maybe
the
Jolly
trial
would
be
interested
in
picking
that
up,
maybe
to
enhance
their
service
a
little
more
so
under
the
auspices
of
PSTA
anyway,
and
Brad
thought.
That
was
a
pretty
good
idea.
He
was
going
to
talk
to
Jolly
Trolley
about
that
and.
Y
Up,
maybe
there's
a
way
that
we
can
enhance
the
service,
especially
to
our
new
part.
This
opening,
maybe
we
could
come
up
with
some
remote
parking,
maybe
at
Clearwater
High
School.
Maybe
it's
some
other
parts
when
we
have
big
concerts
and
bring
them
in
on
the
trolley,
bring
them
back
and
forth,
and
that
would
be
a
benefit
to
take
traffic
off
Drew,
Street
and
and
other
streets
that
are
heading
east
and
west.
So
I
just
wanted
to
mention
that
and
we'll
see
how
it
pans
out
through
the
summer
and
maybe
that'll
help.
A
A
About
planning,
though
I
think
a
good
place
would
be
the
DiMaggio
complex,
the
Old,
Saint
Pete
College
gym,
because
there's
a
lot
of
parking
there
yeah
for
especially
people
coming
from
the
Deputy
side.
Where
have
you
or
okay
good
meeting
tonight
Monday
we
had
a
spirited
discussion,
but
I
just
want
to
make
sure
everyone
knows
that
everyone
up
here
is
up
here.
Only
for
one
or
it's
not
it's
not
for
the
paycheck.
We
all
love
Clearwater.
We
want
to
see
it.
A
Happen
but
that's
okay,
that's
what
this
is
all
about.
We
had
a
great
meeting
tonight
we're
going
to
move
forward
as
a
unit
and
work
together.
As
Miss
Beckman
said.
Our
staff
has
been
overworked
partially
because
of
me,
but
I
appreciate
everything.
They
do
and
I
appreciate
their
efforts
and
we're
going
to
move
forward.
As
a
team
I
think
you
saw,
the
Clearwater
Beach
was
named
number
one
again
by
another
USA
Today
I
had
my
mother
out
at
the
beach
for
a
staycation.
My
91.
A
1
remarkable
every
morning,
every
night
to
come
here
and
dump
all
the
trash
and
clean
it
up.
For
me,
we
take
such
great
care
of
that
beach.
That's
why
we
have
the
best
beach
one
of
the
best
beaches
in
the
world
really,
but
it's
you
know-
and
it
was
just
impressive
and
I
knew
we
did
that,
but
when
I
sat
there
and
just
watched
it
every
day
every
day,
five
days,
you
know
you
know
four
and
a
half
days
whatever
it
was
very
impressive.
So
I
just
want
to
thank
our
staff.
