Good

father

is
the
reverend
benjamin
adams
junior.
So
I
stand
in
his
place
tonight.
I
give
you
my
regards
on
his
behalf
as
he
was
not
feeling
well
tonight.
If
he
could
have
been
here,
I'm
sure
you
all
know
that
he
would
let
us
pray
our
god.
B
We
thank
you
now,
for
this
opportunity
to
come
together
to
converse
on
situations
means
matters
as
it
pertains
to
this
city,
the
city
of
clearwater,
god.
We
pray
that
you
will
keep
us
safe.
Allow
conversations
to
go
smooth,
allow
us
to
get
points
across.
Allow
us
to
do
what
is
best.
What
we
feel
is
best
to
do
for
this
city
and
for
the
vision
for
those
who
lead
god.
We
pray
for
our
leaders
city
wide
county
wide
that
you
will
continue
to
cover
them.
B
We
pray
for
our
leaders,
statewide
and
federal
that
you
will
keep
your
hand
on
them,
that
you
would
encourage
them
and
that
you
would
allow
them
to
complete
the
task
of
what
you've
given
them
to
do
for
all
of
us
here
today
for
all
of
us
watching
for
all
of
us
citizens
of
cleveland.
We
pray
that
you
continue
to
bless
us
continue
to
keep
us
dismiss
us
from
this
place
tonight
safely.
B
A
A
I
was
going
to
say
he's
really
aging
well,
when
you
walked
up,
I
got
I
got
to
take
what
he's
taking.
Let
me
introduce
the
dyess
on
my
far
right
as
city
manager,
bill
horn,
good
evening,
council
member
bunker
good
evening,
council
member
hamilton
good
evening
vice
mayor
albritton
good
evening,
council
member
peckman
and
our
illustrious
city
attorney,
pam
bacon,.
A
We
have
a
special
presentation
tonight
because
we
had
the
pleasure
of
having
dinner
this
evening
with
our
citizens
academy,
grads
and
they're
a
great
group,
and
they
have
devoted
a
lot
of
time
and
energy
into
learning
about
the
city.
This
past.
A
I
think
it's
ten
sessions,
so
I'm
happy
to
announce
that
the
19th
annual
19th
hoyt
citizens
academy
classes
graduating
tonight.
Each
of
the
12
graduates
have
shown
their
commitment
to
the
future
of
clearwater
by
completing
an
intensive
10-week
program
that
included
visits
to
many
city
facilities,
departments
and
downtown,
because
citizen
involvement
is
crucial.
The
future
of
clearwater.
This
group
is
to
be
commended
for
their
achievement
and
dedication.
A
A
E
D
A
A
A
A
Thank
you
all,
and
we
look
forward
to
next
year's
class
that
will
be.
When
will
we
be
taking
applications
joel
over
the
summer
over
the
summer?
Okay,
we'll
be
looking
forward
to
that.
Next.
If
I
could
call
lena
tshara
and
we
have
a
video
clearwater
street.
H
H
I
shared
this
thought
with
the
downtown
clearwater
merchants
association
and
gained
their
support.
I
also
addressed
the
downtown
development
board
and
asked
and
gained
their
support
for
funding
the
commissioning
of
an
original
song
about
clearwater
and
its
matching
music
video.
I
then
set
out
to
do
just
that.
H
H
With
proven
19,
we
made
an
effort
to
shoot
enclosed
venues
to
ensure
social
distancing,
so
I
would
like
to
thank
ruth
eckert
hall
capital
theatre,
ross,
norton
westfield
mall,
for
allowing
us
to
shoot
in
their
space.
I
would
also
like
to
the
opportunity
to
formally
thank
everyone
who
participated
in
the
video,
such
as
city
of
clearwater
and
the
clearwater
marina
aquarium.
H
We
are
also
honored
to
have
a
cameo
voice
presence
by
the
award-winning
tv
producer,
james
gordon,
as
well
as
cameo
appearances
by
councilman
bunker
beckman
vice
mayor
alberton
and
his
wife,
mary
allen
and
mayor
hibbert
and
teresa.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
I
hope
you
enjoy
the
debut
of
sail.
H
I
I
I
A
A
A
A
A
J
No,
I
suffered
a
small
minor
setback
in
2020
fashion
burned.
My
arm
my
face
yeah,
it's
I'm
still
alive,
and
so
I
could
have
died.
I'm
still
here.
So
I'm
just
grateful.
It
happened
nine
days
after
we
finished
the
shooting.
So
it's
kind
of
interesting.
So
now
it's
time
for
me
to
lay
low
and
just
and
messed
up,
but
I'm
still
here
so
I'm
happy
and
I'm
grateful
for
this
opportunity.
It's
just
it's
great.
It
feels
great
and
thank
you
guys
all
so
much
for
allowing
me.
A
A
A
Anyone
for
citizens
to
be
heard.
Okay,
I
would
ask
if
there
are
any
items
to
be
taken
off
the
consent
agenda.
I
have
had
item
7.11
to
be
removed.
Are
there
any
other
items
from
the
council
or
from
the
public?
A
A
L
I
understand
that
the
defendant,
in
that
case,
mr
priest,
is
unhappy
with
the
terms
that
she's,
frankly
already
signed
and
agreed
to,
and
so
I
will
obviously
leave
it
to
your
wisdom.
If
you
would
like
to
renegotiate
those
terms,
which
is
your
prerogative,
is
my
recommendation
that
you
do
not.
I
remind
counsel
that
mr
priest
is
subject
to
a
another
settlement
agreement
with
the
city
on
another
property
that
she
owns
and
frankly
she
is
in
default
of
that
agreement.
L
L
I
would
acknowledge
that
recently,
ms
duprees
has
made
some
efforts
to
bring
property
into
compliance,
but
as
recently
as
september,
14th
of
this
year,
the
comple,
the
conditions
were
still
existing
on
the
property
that
we've
settled
on
mainly
with
things
like
overgrowth
of
grass
and
things
of
that
nature.
And
so,
while
I
think
mr
priest
is
going
to
say,
is
you
need
to
sell
this
property
that
we're
speaking
about
now
in
order
to
fix
the
code
violations
that
were
on
the
other
property
that
we've
already
settled
on?
L
That
may
be
true,
but
I
think
the
majority
of
the
conditions
could
have
been
corrected
for
little
or
no
money,
and
so
I
I
would
recommend
that
you
not
negotiate
down
really
have
two
reasons
for
that.
One
is
just
in
in
general
that
I
think
that
it
would
set
a
bad
precedent
going
forward
and
I'm
just
not
sure
if
that
is
what
we
want
to
be
doing.
What.
L
Yes,
we
were
originally
at
50
000
and
I
already
came
and
came
down
to
25..
If
that
was
your
question,
man.
L
Oh,
the
original
excuse
me,
sir.
After
having
the
exact
amount,
it
was
500,
it
was
it's
510
000
as
of
november
6,
and
that's
this
chestnut
property
and
the
prior
property
had
a
fixed
lean
of
492
598
dollars,
and
we
have
a
settlement
that
originally
said
if
you
paid
15
000
in
and
fix
the
property
in
150
days,
you're
going
on
15
000
and
if
not
you'll
go
up
to
25..
L
I
would
say
that
the
cap
of
mr
priest's
liability
on
this
settlement
here
907
chestnut
is
40
000.
So
it's
still
a
great
discount.
A
M
I
I
have
to
ask
what
you're
speaking
of
as
far
as
september
14th
as
far
as
overgrowth,
I
have
trees
that
need
to
be
cut,
but
I
mow
my
lawn
myself,
I
edge
I
well,
I
I
don't
understand
the
overgrowth
on
tuscola
as
far
as
the
lane
goes
as
far
as
chestnut
street,
I
don't
know
if
you're
familiar
with
the
property,
my
grandmother
and
my
father
sold
the
front
part
of
it
an
acre
and
three
quarters
long
in
the
80s
to
a
law
firm
and
they
block
the.
M
M
I
let
the
code
enforcement
they
know,
and-
and
I
spoke
with
terry
on
many
occasions
and
the
city
attorney
at
that
time,
and
they
fully
understood
that
I
could
not
only
afford
to
replace
my
grandfather,
helped
build
that
house
in
1920
and
or
it
started
being
built
right
before
1920..
It's
got
windows
upstairs
downstairs.
M
M
M
D
No
sir,
I
think
mr
fuino,
it
did
explain
it
pretty
thoroughly.
The
one
property
has
been
in
non-compliance
since
2009
and
it's
2000
2008..
Sorry,
I'm
off
here
and
I'm
sorry
so.
D
Yes,
sir,
and
the
second
property,
the
first
notion.
N
N
L
N
K
So
you
mentioned
that
the
city
wanted
fifty
thousand.
Can
you
explain
to
me
how
how
that
is
the
case
since
we're
trying
to
settle
for
twenty
five
thousand
dollars,
which
I
believe
was
agreed
upon,
with
with
at
least
her
attorneys.
L
The
first
one
that
I
said
in
february,
which
originally
was,
would
have
been
fifteen
thousand
dollars
if
payment
and
compliance
have
been
met
by
july
19th
and
that
it
was
not
met.
So
the
agreement
bumps
up
to
25.,
that's
the
capital
liability
on
what
was
almost
a
half
a
million
dollar
lead
and
then
there's
this
settlement
agreement.
That's
before
you
today,
which
is
recommended
for
twenty
five
thousand
dollars
on
another
half
a
million
dollars.
Okay,
so
essentially
you're
selling
a
million
dollars
for
fifty
percent
yeah.
G
G
It's
not
appropriate
for
me
to
make
a
judgment
anyway,
and
so
I
just
I
just
I
wouldn't
want
to
encourage
this
with
other
residents
to
come
forward
and
and
talk
about
their
legal
agreements
that
they've
already
made
with
the
city.
M
A
A
C
You
know
I
served
on
the
code
enforcement
board
for
years
and
we
always
tried
to
give
people.
You
know
a
chance,
it
wasn't.
The
city
wasn't
out
to
make
money.
The
city
was
out
to
get
their
properties
in
compliance.
C
C
P
Good
evening
robert

the
right-of-way,
this
right-of-way
using
vacation,
is
a
contingency
in
the
land

contract
between
the
city
and
creative
contractors.
City
stakeholders
have
reviewed
the
right-of-way
use,
not
vacation
requests
and
have
no
objection
happy
to
answer
any
questions.
A
First
of
all,
I'm
going
to
give
hazard
pay
to
the
city
manager
for
that
any
questions
for
spursack.
Anyone
from
the
public
speak
to
item
8.1.
Do
I
have
a
motion.
D
As
recorded
in
plaque
book
50
page
60,
public
records
of
pinellas
county
florida
run
then
south
89
degrees,
57,
minutes
24
seconds
east
a
distance
of
200.00
feet
to
the
point
of
beginning
then
south
89
degrees,
57,
minutes,
24
seconds
east
a
distance
of
100.00
feet.
Then
south
0
0
degrees,
20
minutes
15
seconds
east
feet
in
inches,
it's
not
feet
in
inches.
D
This
is
actually.
This
is
surveyor
talk
and
it's
degrees
minutes
and
seconds.
You
learn
something
more
every
day.
So
now
now
I
lost
my
place.
You're
on
the.
A
M
N
P
O
Approved
city
of
clearwater
staff
requests
to
vacate
a
20-foot
drainage
and
utility
easement,
and
the
15-foot
drainage
and
utility
easement
described
correspondingly
as
the
north
20
feet
and
south
15
feet
of
the
following
described:
track
commence
at
the
northeast
corner
of
gulf
to
bay
gardens.
As
recorded
in
plaid
book
50
page
60.
O
P
G
I
make
a
motion
to
pass
ordinance
9430-20
on
first
reading.
Second,.
P
Thank
you,
mr
horn.
This
easement
vacation
is
also
a
contingency
in
the
land
exchange
contract
between
the
city
and
creative
contractors.
Any.
G
A
G
D
So
it
we
should
always
be
using
degrees
minutes
and
seconds.
This
is
a
longitude
and
latitude.
I
had
to
look
it
up
by
the
way
to
make
sure
if
you,
google
it.
What
you
will
see
is
that
the
way
you
read
these
is
its
longitude
latitude.
So
it's
degrees
minutes
and
seconds,
and
that
explains
why
you
may
see
something
here
like
where
it
looks
weird
to
have
24
feet
and
then
54
seconds.
G
When,
when
real
estate
attorneys,
they
read
it
as
feet
and
or
feet
degrees,
okay,
minutes
minutes
and
seconds
instead
of
feet
and
inches
minutes
and
seconds.
Okay,.
D
O
P
Thank
you,
mr
ohan.
This
is
the
last
one.
This
medication
is
also
a
contingency
in
the
contract,
land
exchange
contract
between
the
city
and
creative
contractors.

O
S
Thank
you,
mr
horn,
good
evening,
council
and
mayor
as
we
discussed
on
tuesday.
This
is
to
to
secure
a
grant
for
security
cameras
out
at
the
airport,
I'll
be
happy
to
answer
any
of
your
questions.
K
I
move
to
adopt
resolution
28.4
20-58.
I
got
to
approve
the
item
first.
Oh,
I
move
that
too,
to
approve
or
or
japan
to
move
to
pass.
10.2.
Second.
E
Good
evening,
council
javon
graham
division
chief
emergency
management.
This
is
to
confirm
the
extension
of
the
emergency
proclamation
for
covet,
as
we
still
are
in
the
state
of
emergency
and
dealing
with
the
pandemic.
Welcome
to
answer
any
questions.
A
K
E
Okay,
javon,
graham
division,
chief
emergency
management.
Again
again,
this
resolution
or
this
declaration
of
emergency
was
due
to
hurricane
edda
and
so
allow
mr
horn
to
activate
certain
emergency
procedures
and
to
allow
us
to
receive
funding.
If
the
opportunity
allows
from
the
state
and
the
federal
government.
K
Emotion,
move
to
pass
item
10.4.
A
Miss
aiken,
no
sir,
all
right!
Let's
start,
let's
start
from
the
right
hold.
These
go
right
to
left.
K
So
really,
I'm
just
happy
that
that
there's
some
vaccines
coming
for
kovit
19,
hopefully
those
will
roll
out
smoothly.
K
N
Just
a
couple
of
things
I
want
to
wish
everyone
a
happy
thanksgiving,
a
safe
and
safe
and
happy
thanksgiving.
Hopefully
you
know
kovid's
not
putting
too
big
of
a
damper
on
some
everybody's
arrangements,
but
it
is
what
it
is
and
and
we
will
survive
the
other
one
is
I'd
like
to
compliment
and
congratulate
coach,
jim
curtin.
Now
most
of
y'all
aren't
going
to
know
who
that
is,
but
he's
the
well.
N
We
should
know
who
he
is
he's
the
head
coach
of
the
philadelphia
union,
the
soccer
team
that
trains
here
in
clearwater
in
february
they
had
the
number
one
they
had
the
best
record
in
major
league
soccer
this
year
and
coach
curtin
was
named
coach
of
the
year
for
the
league.
So
I
just
wanted
to
publicly
recognize
that,
because
you
know,
god
forbid,
you
know
we
got
to
get
rid
of
kovid,
but
you
know
their
ability
to
come
here
in
spring
train
they
love
coming
here.
We
love
having
them
it's
great
to
see
them.
N
Do
their
exhibition,
games
and
practices
where
all
of
the
young
kids
that
play
soccer
in
this
area
are
able
to
come
out
and
watch
and
experience.
What
the
professionals
do
it's
really
a
great
opportunity
and
we're
fortunate
to
have
them,
but
I
just
want
to
publicly
congratulate
the
team
and
coach
curtin.
C
Vice
mayor
yeah-
and
I
just
want
to
wish
everybody
a
a
happy
holiday-
I
know
this
year.
It's
it's
a
tough
one
because
of
covid,
I
want
everybody
to
stay
safe
and
if
you're
traveling
stay
safe
with
that
as
well.
C
I
also
wanted
to
mention
psta
monday
is
the
rollout
of
the
first
autonomous
vehicle
here
in
pinellas
county,
it's
in
st
petersburg.
C
It's
going
to
be
there
the
rest
of
november
december,
and
hopefully
the
next
stop
will
be
clearwater
after
the
first
of
the
year,
and
we
look
forward
to
seeing
that
it's
a
if
you
get
a
chance
go
down
and
take
a
look
at
it
to
see
a
truly
autonomous
vehicle
work
and
I
think
it's
going
from
albert
witted
toward
along
the
bay
front,
and
it
only
goes
like
15
miles
an
hour,
but
it's
a
loop
that
goes
back
and
forth,
and
I
think
it's
the
first
time
that
we
can
see
that
really
here,
close
up
so
get
a
chance,
go
down
and
see
it.
G
Yeah,
I
wanted
to
say
just
a
couple
things.
Last
weekend
I
had
the
pleasure
of
participating
in
my
first
paint,
your
heart
out,
clearwater
event,
and
this
is
a
non-profit
group
that
gets
together
volunteers
and
paints,
houses
of
primarily
elderly
people
who
might
not
have
the
means
to
paint
their
house
and
we
painted
10
homes.
G
Different
groups
fielded
different
teams.
I
had
two
teams
for
two
different
houses,
so
that
was
fun.
Our
volunteers
ranged
in
age
from
18
to
like
73
years
old
painting
these
homes.
There
was
a
great
sense
of
community
of
unity
and
giving
back
samantha
almarez
was
in
charge
of
coordinating
everything
and
she
did
a
phenomenal
job,
especially
in
light
of
covid.
G
Normally
they
have
about
300
volunteers
and
we
had
about
114
to
paint
those
houses
because
we
had
to
spread
out
and
we
all
kept
kept
our
masks
on
and
they
had
face
shields
in
these
gift
bags,
and
it
was
really
a
great
a
great
event
and
thank
you
to
all
the
donors
who
donated
things
like
the
paint
and
the
paint
brushes
and
the
rollers
and
the
the
treats
for
the
goodie
bag
and
t-shirts
and
things.
So
that
was
wonderful.
G
That
was
a
real
early
morning,
saturday
morning
we
got
started
about
7,
30
and
then
on
saturday,
after
a
friday
night,
drawing
out,
we
had
the
painting
of
our
first
street
mural
intersection
in
the
lake
bellevue
community,
and
this
was
on
the
corner
of
woodlawn
and
mlk,
and
I
helped
with
the
artist
and
other
volunteers,
especially
our
new
cha,
our
our
new
childhood.
Our
new
neighborhoods
coordinator
is
jordan
moran
and
he's
a
great
young
man.
G
Just
the
outline
like
a
big
coloring
book
picture
and
then
saturday,
a
bunch
of
members
of
the
community
children,
parents,
all
sorts
of
people
painted
all
day
to
fill
in
those
primary
colors
and
it's
on
our
website,
and
it
was,
you
know,
part
of
a
news.
Nine,
I
think
was
there,
but
it's
really
a
phenomenal
intersection.
So
I
would
urge
you
to
go
and
check
that
out
and
the
artist
is
kumpa
to
war
prom.
G
There's
the
continuum
of
care
which
used
to
be
homeless,
leadership,
association,
which
is
a
county-wide
focus
on
dealing
with
homelessness
and
trying
to
prevent
homelessness
and
and
working
with
transitional
housing
and
also
part
of
our
affordable
housing
advisory
board.
Here
in
the
city,
and
so
that's
a
big
passion
for
me,
and
I
just
wanted
to
say
that
if
you
know
we
need
to
try
something
different.
We
had
a
meeting
here
that
lasted
about
three
hours,
looking
at
these
different
11
mandates
from
the
housing
and
urban
development
federal
agency.
G
That
requires
us
to
look
at
11
different
categories
for
dealing
with
housing
and
people
on
this
diocese
want
to
do
something
different.
They
just
don't
want
to
keep
doing
the
same
old
thing,
and
there
was
a
little
you
know,
and
I'm
new
to
this,
but
there's
an
expression
of
we've
got
to
look
at
it
differently.
G
So
if
there
are
people
out
there
that
have
ideas
that
have
personal
experience
that
want
to
contribute
that
want
us
to
help
to
help
us
find
new
ways
to
approach
this
challenging
topic
of
diversity,
of
housing
for
people
who
work
in
our
community.
These
are
like
essential
workers,
like
our
cna
workers,
like
our
grocery
store
clerks,
like
teachers,
aides
like
teachers,
so
these
are
working
people
who
struggle
it's
a
challenge
to
find
housing
that
doesn't
take
up
more
than
30
of
their
income.
G
So
anyway,
I
I'd
like
to
ask
for
any
help.
Just
contact
me
if
you
have
ideas
or
you'd
like
to
get
involved
and
then
finally,
I
too
wish
you
a
happy
thanksgiving,
safe
and
peaceful.
I'm
not
going
to
be
with
my
family,
because
we've
decided
it's
it's
too
risky
this
year,
but
there's
when
I
taught
I
used
to
put
a
quote
of
the
day
up
on
the
white
board,
and
so
my
favorite
quote
for
thanksgiving
is
from
john
f
kennedy
and
he
had
a
thanksgiving
proclamation.
G
A
Thank
you,
yeah
we're
still

we're

Finally,
since
we
last
met,
we
have
celebrated
veterans

and
I
want
to
thank
all
the
veterans
who
have
served
this
country
so
ably
and
their
families
who
have
made
tremendous
sacrifices
council,
member
beckman,
and
I
had
the
opportunity
to
go
over
to
silvius
who
serves
waffles
on
drew
street.
I
would
highly
recommend
him
just
expect
a
sugar
coma,
but
she
was
going
to
be
offering
veterans
waffles
that
morning
we
happened
to
get
there
before
anybody,
so
we
didn't
get
to
see
anybody
but
her,
but
we
thank
sylvia
for
doing
that.
A
I
do
want
to
thank
all
the
paint,
your
heart
out
participants.
I
had
the
opportunity
to
go
around
to
all
10
sites.
We
always
have
painting
professionals,
they
are
from
painting
companies
that
actually
offer
their
services
for
free.
They
guide
all
of
the
rest
of
us
that
would
make
a
mess,
so
we're
very
fortunate
to
have
them.
If
you
ever
want
a
painter.
I
highly
recommend
you
use
one
of
those
that
volunteer
for
paint
your
heart

We
did
have
the
mayor's
prayer
breakfast
this
week,
in
conjunction
with
the
ymca.
A
Our
speaker
was
really
special.
I
would
highly
recommend
anybody
take
a
look
at
the
suncoast
ymca
website.
His
talk
is
on
the
website.
It
is
part

and
this
gentleman
is
incredibly
inspirational.
A
He
sadly
was
injured
and
became
a
quadriplegic
and
the
attitude
and
what
he
has
done
with
his
life
through
very
trying
circumstances
will
uplift
you
during
this
holiday
season
and
finally,
I
just
want
to
recognize.
Lenny's
restaurant
out
on

a
clearwater
institution
celebrated
their
40th
anniversary
this
past
sunday.
So
I
want
to
congratulate
dan
and
ben
the
two
owners.
They
have
inherited
it
from
their
parents
and
kept
up
the
great
tradition
that
we
all
know
at
lennie's.
So
with
that
we
are
adjourned.
God
bless
you
all
and
enjoy
this
marvelous
thanksgiving.
