Lastly,
we
thank
you
O
Lord,
for
sending
us
our
leaders
in
volunteers
who
are
willing
and
able
to
put
their
respective
talents
and
gifts
into
the
service
of
others
and
our
community
for
the
common
good.
We
ask
you
to
grant
them
enlightenment
clarity,
unity,
harmony,
peace
and
Concord.
We
ask
all
these
things
in
your
name
and
in
return
we
offer
to
you
all:
do
glory,
honor
and
worship.
A
For
the
gym,
thank
you
for
being
with
us.
Congratulations
to
the
church
on
your
50th
anniversary
council.
50
years
ago,
December
2009
90
no
1969
on
Christmas
Eve.
The
church
was
opened
in
2019
on
Christmas
Eve.
We
had
our
services
and
in
the
new
church
it's
truly
is
a
beacon
for
all
of
us,
traveling
on
us
19
and
coming
at
the
Clearwater
to
see
the
keyhole
eternity
so
father
Jim.
Thank
you
for
a.
A
Do
not
have
any
awards
for
our
staff,
but
we
do
have
a
presentation
from
the
Outback
Bowl
before
I
ask
Mike
and
and
Chuck
to
come
forth.
Let
me
remind
you
if
you
have
a
cell
phone
or
other
device
that
goes
off
to
please
silence
it
and
to
please
treat
the
speakers
with
the
same
respect
that
you
would
want
to
show
have
them
show
you
when
you're
speaking
also
I
I
will
introduce
mr.
A
po
glaze,
who
you've
already
met
to
his
right
is
councilmember
Bob
Cundiff
and
our
city
manager,
bill
horn
to
my
left
is
councilmember
devolver,
a
councilmember
Hoyt
Hamilton,
our
city
attorney
Pam,
akin
in
our
city,
clerk
Rosemarie,
call
with
that
mr.
Schultz
from
the
Outback
Bowl
and
mr.
Riggs
from
the
Outback
Bowl
Board
of
Directors.
Please
come
forward
for
your
presentation.
This
is
probably
the
most
fun
meeting.
C
They
kept
saying
what
is
this
white
stuff
I
said
it's
nice
not,
but
they
carried
the
day.
They
carry
the
beach
full
of
activities.
They
carried
all
the
game
itself.
You
remember
so
what
we
found
was
a
very
receptive
group
of
fans
that
came
down
when
you
sit
in
the
room
and
you're
trying
to
select
the
teams,
and
you
have
choices.
You
just
don't
know
how
the
fan
base
is
barri
out
when
I
met
the
coaches.
C
When
they
came
down
that
coach
from
Minnesota
was
outstanding,
not
putting
down
the
Auburn
coach
I
know
we
have
some
armor
fantasy,
but
that
Minnesota
coach
was
awesome
with
us.
Why?
For
us,
and
they
were
like,
we
can't
believe
pitches
reached
over
pinched
him.
He
said
I
was
on
the
kit,
but
truthfully
we
had
a
good
time.
C
C
Just
the
people
kept
reaching
out
to
us
and
said,
thank
you
so
much
and
then
the
fact
that
you
all
were
there
you'll
see
there's
some
pictures
in
there
of
all
of
you.
They
said
I
can't
believe
they
came
out.
A
new
mayor
made
him
feel
so
comfortable.
So
we
want
to
thank
you
and
all
the
commissioners
with
that
I'm
going
to
turn
it
over
to
our
director
of
communications
and
he's
going
to
tell
you
some
specifics
this
year.
D
D
They
certainly
enjoyed
that
and
we're
very,
very
pleasantly
surprised
and,
as
Chuck
mentioned,
we're
really
just
here
to
thank
city,
clear
water
in
the
entire
city,
the
police
force
and
so
forth,
for
the
support
that
they
give
to
the
Outback
Bowl
each
each
and
every
year
for
the
bowl
game
in
general,
as
well
as
the
beach
day
of
and,
of
course,
which
is
such
a
key
event
that
we
use
to
really
showcase
this
area.
The
the
wonderful
number
one
beaches
in
the
world,
and
so
we're
here
to
thank
you
for
that.
D
As
Chuck
mentioned,
it
was
a
another
terrific
year
for
the
the
Tampa
Bay
area.
As
we
say,
the
winners
every
year,
the
biggest
winner
every
year
for
our
game
is
the
Tampa
Bay
community,
Pinellas,
County,
Hillsborough,
County
and
surrounding
areas.
The
economic
impact
is
generated
by
the
Bowl
each
and
every
year,
and
certainly
you
can
see
the
the
fans
that
are
out
there
on
the
beach.
You
know
from
mostly
from
out
of
the
market
we
sold
tickets
in
46
different
states.
D
D
And
so
you
know,
that's
been
something
that
we
started
a
few
years
ago,
because
we
wanted
to
do
even
more
than
just
be
an
economic
engine
for
the
community,
which
is
really
what
our
Charter
is.
But
we
wanted
to
help
organizations
they're
doing
so
much
good
work
in
our
community
as
well.
So
we
started
that
initiative
a
few
years
ago
and
we're
giving
out
a
minimum
of
five
hundred
thousand
dollars
every
year
to
local
organizations
to
help
them
as
well.
D
So
we
can't
do
that
without
great
partnerships
and
we
don't
have
any
better
partnership
in
the
Tampa
Bay
area
for
the
bowl
game
in
the
city
of
Clearwater,
and
we
just
really
wanted
to
just
come
here
today.
Thank
you
for
that
and
just
sort
of
celebrate
another
great
year
for
the
bowl
game,
another
great
year
for
the
Tampa
Bay
community
and
the
city
of
Clearwater,
and
with
that
I
wanted
to
also
present
you
and
I'm
football,
throwing
you
this
I'm
gonna,
throw
this
one
yeah.
A
We
need
to
also
you
know
thank
our
Chamber
of
Commerce,
amplifying
Clearwater
for
the
cooperation
that
they
give
and,
of
course,
visit
st.
Pete
Clearwater,
but
also
out
back
because
Mike
explained
to
us.
Both
games
now
have
different
title
sponsors,
but
I
think
Outback
is
the
longest
continuing.
Yes,.
D
They,
the
Outback
Steakhouse,
has
been
the
title
sponsor
we
just
they
just
celebrated
their
25th
year
as
title
sponsor
of
the
Outback
Bowl.
That's
the
longest
bowl
game,
title
sponsorship
in
the
history
of
college
bowl
games,
then
none
other
exists
and
in
addition,
this
past
year
and
I
should
have
mentioned
this
as
well,
not
on
without
back,
but
we
actually,
this
past
offseason.
D
We
extended
our
contract
with
Outback
Steakhouse
for
six
additional
years,
so
they
will
be
our
title
sponsor
for
six
more
years
at
least,
and
we
also
extend
our
contract
with
the
conferences,
big
10sec
in
our
TV
partner
ESPN,
which
of
course,
is
really
critical
to
help.
You
know
provide
so
much
of
the
international
national
exposure.
You
know
for
the
game
and
the
events
leading
up
to
it.
A
C
People
ask
me:
do
I
know
the
script,
but
I
said
I
can
sleep,
it
not
dream
it
at
night.
They
know
exactly
what's
been
Anibal
the
one
thing
that
surprises
an
economy
every
year.
That's
how
well
it
goes,
and
hardly
anybody
knows
the
surprises
and
what
the
coaches
are
up
to
what
we're
getting.
We
all
have
the
phones
in
our
ears
we're
hearing
where
they
are,
but
everybody
jumps
in
and
says
no
problem.
Remember
the
Outback,
no
rules
just
right.
E
A
You
see
anybody.
Are
there
any
addition
or
corrections
to
the
minutes
of
January?
The
16th
doctor
per
second
motion
has
been
made
and
seconded
to
approve
the
minutes
of
January.
The
16th
all
in
favor,
say
aye
opposed.
No
motion
carries
unanimously
anybody
for
the
public
wishing
to
speak
to
an
item
not
on
the
agenda,
and
so
please
come
forward
at
this
time.
We
would
ask
that
you
have
a
card
filled
out
with
the
clerk
and
we
will
give
you
three
minutes
to
speak.
F
Good
evening,
thank
you
very
much
for
the
opportunity.
My
name
is
Patrick
rafter
I'm,
a
Clearwater
resident
of
40
years,
I've
decided
the
countryside
area.
The
topic
I
want
to
talk
about
is
the
proposed
renaming
of
coachman
park
to
coachman
Commons
last
week
that
the
Parks
and
Recreation
Advisory
Board
meeting
there
was
a
presentation
by
mr.
Dell
on
Imagine,
clear
water,
as
well
as
a
justification
for
proposing
to
rename
coachman
park
to
government
Commons.
It
was
quite
a
bit
of
public
comment,
but
the
one
comment
that
caught
my
attention
most
dramatically
was
mr.
F
Hume
coachman
rose
and
spoke
on
behalf
of
his
family
and
he
recommended
that
we
consider
retaining
the
motor
coachman
park
for
the
historical
legacy
that
represents
for
his
family.
Originally
I
had
been
in
favor
of
coachman.
Commons
is
a
new
beginning.
If
you
will
I
have
now
changed
my
opinion
and
I
believe
we
should
seriously
consider
allowing
the
park
to
be
retained
as
coachman
park.
It
will
undergo
transformation,
but
I
think
it's
important
that
we
maintain
the
historical
legacy
that
the
coachman
name
represents
for
the
city
as
well
as
that
part.
A
G
This
entire
decision
process
was
done
in
this,
not
secrecy
as
possible,
as
mr.
Hamilton
alludes
to
go
back
and
look
at
dickholes
public
statement,
it
was
as
evasive
and
deceptive
as
anything
possible
and
at
the
end
of
the
last
City
Council
meeting
mr.
Hamilton,
you
kind
of
made
yourself
into
a
smug
demigod.
G
You
said
that
things
should
be
done.
You
know
as
quietly
as
possible
and
that's
incorrect.
It's
also
in
violation
of
the
law,
and
you
wanted
to
give
us
up.
You
wanted
to
give
us
a
civics
lesson,
mr.
Hamilton,
but
you
failed
on
that
as
well.
There's
the
first
amendment,
sir.
There
is
Florida
government
and
the
sunshine
laws
which
you
are
in
violation
of
there's
Florida
open
records
act,
I
am
making
right
now,
a
verbal
open,
Records,
Act,
request
for
all
of
the
settlement
papers,
including
the
agreement
between
the
city
of
Clearwater
and
the
damaged
parties.
G
G
G
Well,
if
we
can't
get
rid
of
the
rotten
apples
in
Clearwater,
Police
Department,
if
mr.
slaughter
can't
do
it,
maybe
we
need
to
do
something
about
mr.
slaughter.
Maybe
we
need
to
get
rid
of
Clearwater
Police,
Department
and
contract
with
primary
law
enforcement,
which
is
the
Sheriff's
Department
that
would
save
millions
of
dollars.
It
would
get
rid
of
these
rotten
apples
and
it
would
divorce
you,
politicians
from
police,
work
and
I
think
that
is
seriously
what
should
be
done.
A
H
My
position
was
notice
on
the
Phillies
I
think
it's
time
for
a
comprehensive
survey.
If
you
come
and
get
away
from
mailing
out,
3,000
snail
mail
do
something
on
the
Internet
I
think
we
could
go
to
the
neighborhoods
and
ask
people
what
kind
of
questions
they
want
to
have.
You
know
come
really
good
survey
that
people
can
maybe
they
reminder
where
they
get
their
utility
bill,
and
you
know
get
a
lot
of
people
giving
feedback
over
time.
H
You
can
do
maybe
a
blast
on
a
certain
topic,
but
also
just
a
yearly
or
every
three
years
survey.
That
would
have
a
lot
more
feedback
and
then
there's
been
a
lot
of
issues
with
properties
on
Edgewater
building,
but
get
a
comprehend
I,
don't
think
504
residents
responses
is
even
any
way
to
measure
I
mean
it
says
we're
coming
in.
You
know
at
83%,
happy
and
down
from
89
or
something,
but
it's
504
responses.
H
That's
it
it's
not
a
survey
and
I
think
with
today's
technology
would
not
involve
me,
but
we
could
have
a
good
survey
response
on
a
questionnaire
or
something
that
would
be
beneficial
to
the
city.
Now,
on
a
sad
note,
something's
been
bugging
me
for
a
while.
That's
why
I
wait
to
come
in
I'm,
really
disappointed.
H
I
think
it
showed
some
poor
judgment
when
comments
were
made
about
an
article
in
the
paper
regarding
our
parks
director
that
left
I
think
that
there
was
issues
with
the
paper
talking
to
the
reporter
of
the
paper,
but
referring
to
our
local
paper
as
their
national
choir
or
the
globe
showed
poor
judgment,
I
think
you
could
have
complained
privately
or
I.
Just
don't
think
this
is
the
venue
where
we
should
be
trashing
our
local
paper
when
we
disagree
with
stuff
on
it.
There's
a
lot
of
ways
to
complain
to
the
paper.
H
I've
complained
to
the
paper
before,
but
I've
never
come
up
here
and
made
and
I
actually
researched
it
talking
to
Parks
and
Recreation,
and
people
in
the
and
the
management.
Budget
Office
and
I've
read
the
article
a
number
of
times
and
the
information
in
the
paper
was
provided
from
the
city.
They
didn't
come
up
with
bogus
numbers
or
anything
like
that
might
not
have
been
accurate,
but
that's
the
information
they
got
from
the
city,
so
I
hope
this.
H
J
J
In
the
neighborhood
sunset
like
manner
its
Sunset
Point
in
Keene
area,
just
north
of
the
railroad
tracks
and
we've
been
there
for
23
years,
my
wife
and
I,
and
we
have
two
kids.
It
seems
like
lately
the
last
few
years,
the
air
part
as
the
traffic
has
increased
considerably
and
I
know
they've
gone
through
some
expansion,
especially
with
the
helicopters.
It
seems,
like
the
noise
levels
in
that
neighborhood
have
increased
dramatically
over
the
last
few
years.
I
know
they
have
a
aviation
school.
J
There
they've
always
had
one
I
guess,
but
it
seems
like
the
last
few
years,
they've
really
stepped
it
up
with
with
traffic
I've
been
in
touch
with
Barbara
the
camera,
her
last
name
she's
the
operator
there.
You
know
I
call
her
when
it
gets
a
little
bit
too
much
there's
times
where
airplanes
they'll
just
take
off
like
every
two
minutes
and
I
know:
they're,
doing
training,
drills
and
it's
just
sometimes
after
a
couple
hours,
it
gets
a
little
old
a
lot
of
time.
J
They
work
from
home
and
the
people
I'm
talking
about
the
phone
I
actually
have
to
mute
them
because
the
noise
get
so
loud.
Like
I
said:
we've
been
there
25
years
and
it
it
was
always
like.
Maybe
a
hobbyist
or
business
people
flying
in
occasionally
I
think
with
with
this
school
there.
It's
just
the
neighborhood
noise
levels
have
gotten
to
a
point
where
it's
sometimes
it's
unbearable.
The
boy
is
in
the
backyard,
I
mean
the
helicopters
they're,
just
it's
so
loud.
They
don't
even
like
when
out
in
the
backyard.
J
J
And
they
they
offered
some.
You
know
some
help,
maybe
come
out
to
the
neighborhood
and
do
some
decibel
level
measuring
for,
but
it
did
wanted
to
come
here
and
just
get
on
the
record
with
with
you
all
and
and
just
let
you
know
that
if
more
expansion
is
considered,
maybe
like
bring
the
neighborhood
in
and
maybe
talk
about
it
more.

with
the
ground
lease
agreement
with
Jolly
trolley
in
the
city.
Representatives
from
Jolly
trolley
are
here
this
evening.
Any
questions,
questions.
A
Of
staff
on
the
jhen
item
8.1,
we
did
receive
some
emails
from
residents
that
went
through
the
City
Clerk's
office.
A
couple
of
them
made
reference
to
the
fact
of
the
route
and
misgiven
I.
Don't
know
that
you
would
have
the
answer
you
know
to
that.
In
terms
of
you
know
how
the
trolleys
will
be
getting
from
the
lot
to
their
routes.
Had
that
been
discussed
or
considered,
considering
the
fact
that
it
isn't
basically
a
residential
neighborhood.
Even
though
there's
a
fire
station
there,
too
and
I'm.
O
P
Answered
the
question:
okay,
Brian
I'm,
65,
Court
Street
on
behalf
of
the
Jolly
trolley
mr.
mayor.
This
is
not
a
public
transportation
stop.
As
you
know,
this
will
be
only
for
the
storage
of
the
vehicles,
so
there'll
be
six
jolly
trolleys
that
go
out
at
a
time,
they'll,
obviously
leave
and
then,
when
their
ships
ever
come
back
and
then
six
others
will
leave.
So
there
won't
be
members
of
the
public
coming
here
to
get
on
jolly
Charlie's.
There
won't
be
jolly
trolleys,
leaving
at
all
hours
of
the
day.
P
It
hasn't
been
determined
what
specific
routes
will
be
taken
to
get
to
their
routes,
but
I
can
tell
you
that
this
is
not
stuff,
so
there
are
no
roots
to
this
location.
Obviously
they
return
and
leave
from
this
location
and
the
two
roads
that
they
would
have
to
use
would
either
be
betty
lane
or
Overbrook,
and
I'm
also
told
that
there's
a
discussion
about
using
Palmetto,
but
obviously
at
this
point
is
pretty
premature.
M
P
A
P
You,
as
I,
said
Brian
humps,
the
on
behalf
of
the
Jolly
trolley.
We
discussed
I
think
the
key
points
and
we
did
receive
the
the
letter
of
concern
and
we
are
prepared
to
address
all
of
those
issues.
But
first
I
just
wanted
to
point
out
that
I
need
to
thank
the
city
and
the
city
staff
assistant
city
attorney,
Laura
Mahoney,
the
city's
outside
counsel,
bill
pence,
who's,
the
Environmental
Council
has
reviewed
this
and
there
is
significant
effort
and
due
diligence.
P
That's
gone
in
on
both
the
jolly
trolleys
part,
the
Jolly
trolleys,
construction
lender
and
the
city
and
they're
outside
Environmental
Council
to
ensure
that
all
of
the
environmental
concerns
are
addressed.
There's
insurance
that
John
Chow
is
required
to
have
regarding
any
potential
pollution
issues.
There's
indemnification
that
the
drive
tribe
will
have,
but
the
bottom
line
is
that
jontron
is
going
to
remediate
the
site
in
terms
of
removing
problematic
areas.
There
hasn't
been
any
significant
increase.
P
P
When
the
clear
water,
gas
informed,
John
collee
that
it
was
time
for
jochai
to
move
from
his
current
location
at
4:01,
myrtle
john
trolley
engaged
a
real
estate
agent
and
this
the
agent
actually
located
this
parcel,
and
it
just
makes
perfect
sense
that
one
goal
for
john
rowley
is
to
stay
in.
Clearwater
clearwater
is
I,
think
inexplicable
from
John
Rowley
and
John
trials
and
ex
trickable
from
Clearwater.
So
we
think
this
is
a
excellent
opportunity
for
the
future.
P
The
city
has
been
an
incredible
partner
for
Jolly
trolley
and
we
look
forward
to
continuing
to
work
with
clear
water
and
the
PSTA
going
forward.
I
did
address,
you
know
your
questions
already,
and
so
the
concerns
that
were
raised
we're
really
about
traffic
noise,
those
types
of
things
again
there
are
about
six
employees
that
will
be
in
the
administrative
office
building.
P
There
are
six
drivers
that
are
on
anytime
and
then
to
be
fair
on
the
weekends
there
are
charters,
so
there
might
be
a
number
of
charters
that
go
out
at
the
same
time,
but
they're
not
making
frequent
stops.
These
are
on
shifts
off
shifts
and
the
operation
starts
at
8:30
in
the
morning
closes
down
at
11:00
p.m.
there's,
no
maintenance
or
anything
that's
done
after
6:00
p.m.
and
the
maintenance
is
really
light.
P
It's
going
to
be
in
two
enclosed
Bay,
so
it'll
be
indoors
and
the
maintenance
will
be
just
tires
and
oil
changes
and
things
like
that
I
want
to
also
reiterate:
you
aren't
approving
the
development
you're,
not
improving
the
site
plan,
you're,
not
approving
the
actual
building,
or
any
of
this
is
the
very
very
first
step
in
a
long
process.
So
we
will
have
to
go
through
the
planning
and
engineering
departments
the
building
department.
There
will
be
requirements
to
comply
with
all
applicable
laws,
including
all
buffering
mitigation,
stormwater
or
setbacks
landscaping.
P
P
To
to
those
concerns
that
we
will
be
meeting
with
the
neighbors
as
we
develop
the
site
plan
prior
to
the
CDP
hearing
on
that
issue,
so
we
won't
be
ignoring
the
neighbors
on
that
will
definitely
be
reaching
out
to
mr.
Lyon
and
the
others,
and
working
with
them
on
the
development
of
the
site
plan.
Hopefully,
we
can
get
to
an
area
where
they're
very
comfortable
with
the
process.
P
A
R
A
Windsor
jolly
Charlie
for
10
North
Myrtle.
No,
when
we
dispatch
a
trolley
to
go
for
a
charter,
they
actually
go
to
wherever
the
customers
location
is
and
pick
up
the
people
at
that
point.
So
nobody
comes
to
our
location.
We
have
no
intentions
of
allowing
any
public
parking
on
our
property,
so
it
will
reduce
the
number
of
cars
that
would
be
parked.
I.
A
F
H
Didn't
come
for
that,
but
I
know
this
property
extreme
again.
We
need
you
to
identify
yourself.
My
career,
take
my
classes.
I
know
this
property
extremely
well.
I
moved
in
on
Betty
Lane
in
2003
the
spring
and
that's
kind
of
my
drugs
through
there
to
get
over
to
West
and
I.
Remember
when
they
built
station
51
and
I
think
it
became
a
business
firehouse
for
quick
across
the
street.
From
this
property
is
a
business.
That's
I,
don't
know
it
does,
but
it's
a
it's
a
commercial
business.
H
That's
the
busiest
in
a
Clearwater,
but
I
can
tell
you
when
it's
windy
and
it
hasn't
been
rated.
That
field
creates
a
tremendous
Dust
Bowl
all
over
the
place.
There's
a
there's
a
operation
on
the
corner
of
that
street,
never
booked
and
Betty
that
washes
cars
and
there's
a
little
place.
There
sells
crabs,
sometimes
food,
but
anything
other
than
that
big
dirt
lot
would
be
an
improvement
as
long
as
it's
environmentally
safe
and
I
really
I
mean
I
have
a
hard
time
objecting
to
it.
H
E
Good
evening
mr.
Merrick
City
Council
call
Shriners
or
neighborhoods
coalition.
President
I
was
in
contact
with
some
of
the
residents
in
that
area.
They're
just
concerned
that
additional
noise
and
some
additional
activity,
but
that's
restricted
to
where
it's
at
right
now
on
myrtle
and
I,
think
things
will
be
fine.
They
know
that
the
Gela
trolley
needs
to
grow
in
a
bigger
space.
So
I
can
keep
the
residents
in
mind
and
know
that
that's
the
quasi
I
guess
there's
a
transmission
shop
across
the
street,
but
it's
also
still
residential
in
the.
S
S
P
A
Away
from
your
families,
I
really
appreciate
all
of
you
very
much.
Thank
you.
You
can't
just
leave
this
dangling
life
out
in
the
Strongs
reference.
V
A
A
W
Evening,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
my
name
is
Michael
Aranda,
though
I
live
in
water
point
year
round
in
the
Sylvester
Building
I'm,
a
retired
RN
I
volunteer
at
the
hospital
and
at
the
PD
I,
see
the
traffic
all
day
every
day
and
like
not
counting
Spring,
Break,
joy,
forth
or
new
use,
it's
pretty
hairy.
We
do
have
an
aging
demographic
and
a
lot
of
tourists
and
our
wonderful
number
one
Beach
I'm
very
concerned
about
the
penile
pub
idea
and
wondering
you
know
who
is
dispensing
the
alcohol
who's
monitoring.
It
was
controlling
the
end
of
it.
W
Where
is
it
being
held?
Where
is
it
stored?
And
if
somebody
falls
off
one
of
those
suckers?
What
is
the
back-up
plan?
The
traffic
already
is
oftentimes
dangerous.
I
know,
there's
concerns
I,
hear
about
it
all
the
time
and
just
very
concerned
myself
about
adding
something
like
this
to
a
very
crowded
little
one
lane
in
many
places,
Beach
area.
W
X
Thank
you,
Mary
council
I
never
sent
pure
folk,
so
bear
with
me
three
minutes.
Okay,
it's
gonna,
be
quick
or
I'll
I'll,
be
quick,
further
Jana
I'm,
sorry
Jim's,
Malik,
Clearwater
resident
since
2004
and
I'm.
Here,
because
a
few
years
ago,
I
was
on
a
business
trip
and
I
wrote
in
that
mega
cycle
problems
are
called
fell
in
love
with
it
became
obsessed
with
it
and
I
wanted
to
bring
it
back
to
Clearwater
Beach
and
make
it
the
cable.
X
The
cable
car
was
to
San
Francisco
to
the
Clearwater
Beach,
with
an
extremely
unique
green
family
friend
in
friendly
activity.
I
obsessed,
I
made
a
businessman
had
contacted
businesses
that
similar
businesses
around
the
country
from
Oakland
up
to
New
York
to
South
Carolina
did
to
site
business
one
in
Memphis,
one
in
a
more
of
a
boutique
town
and
Stanford
outside
Orlando
came
up
with
a
game
plan
approached
the
city.
X
Probably
three
four
years
ago,
went
through
different
presentations,
long
story
short:
they
had
a
final
meeting
with
Terry
Tunis,
torini
olds,
who
I
think
is
retired
now
and
City
County
and
the
city
attorney,
and
they
basically
said
no.
We've
decided
against
it.
I've
obviously
got
a
crush
little
drooping,
the
drawers
went
home
and
then
I
saw
in
the
paper
about
a
year
ago
or
so
that
the
city
was
reopening.
It
I
was
so
excited.
I.
X
Think
I
have
like
think
that
was
through
one
of
my
kids
through
windows,
so
excited
and
then
re-engaged
for
city
of
India
with
Jim
who's
been
absolutely
great
to
work
with,
and
he
said
Jim.
Oh,
you
got
three
minutes,
we're
gonna
do
a
pilot,
and
we,
if
you
want,
give
us
some
recommendations
during
this
three
minutes
so
I'm.
What
I
wanted
to
give
you
that
I've
done
a
lot
of
research
on
parking,
no
always
traffic
alcohol
and
all
that.
But
that's
this
in
the
format.
X
If
there's
two
things
I,
would
you
you
hired
me
to
be
consultant
to
put
one
of
these
in
place?
The
number
one
thing
with
your
pilot
would
be:
don't
award
a
sole
source
out
of
pilot,
let
there
be
a
Pepsi
and
Coke
and
how
I
would
suggest
doing
that
would
be
divided.
There's
three
zones
as
I
understand
it.
North
of
the
roundabout
will
call
that
zone.
A
south
of
the
roundabout
on
the
beach
zone
is
on
be
the
mainland
of
Zone
C.
X
Don't
allow
one
vendor
to
be
awarded
all
three
areas
unless
there's
only
one
vendor
that
replies
would
provided
you
have
two
or
more
vendors
only
allow
two
out
of
three
to
be
awarded
that
way
you
can
see
over
the
year
before
there's
a
lot
of
different
ways.
These
businesses
can
be
run
just
like.
We
can
go,
get
a
beer
it
by
PI
lemons
or
we
can
go
to
shipwreck,
get
a
beer
both
places,
but
they
weren't
completely
different
the
same
with
these
so
I
eyelid
phase.
You
should
have
two
local
vendors.
It's
a
great
idea.
X
The
last
thing,
which
is
a
safety
thing,
I,
think
you
should
you
don't
have
to
mandate.
I
would
mandate
it,
but
at
least
strongly
suggest
that
they
have
an
electronic
backup
motor
for
emergency
vehicles
so
that
if
a
when
a
chief
slaughters
or
the
fire
trucks
come
up,
then
get
out
or
wake
whip
in
there
not
rely
on
people
pen
and
that
keeps
us
fill
within
stick
regulation.
Y
Good
evening,
councilman
just
see
all
over
again
I'm
Christine
Michael.
It
I,
don't
tell
other
point,
I'm
speaking
against
their
Mecca
cycles
and
the
commonly
known
as
the
petal
pups
since
I
believe
a
picture
is
worth
a
thousand
words.
I
have
brought
pictures
of
all
the
vehicles
that
are
now
on
our
Clearwater
Beach,
this
one
I'm
sure
your
rectum,
and
then
we
have
these
that
you
could
rent
people
tooling
around.
On
those,
then
we
have
the
cycle
with
a
little
cute
little
canopy
on
the
top
that
you
also
can
rent.
Y
Y
Picture
fans,
many
of
the
businesses
that
will
give
you
free
transportation
to
their
restaurants,
to
their
hotels.
All
you
do
is
call
for
no
money
and
they'll
pick
you
up,
then,
to
add
to
that
we
have,
and
if
those
of
you
who
have
ridden
on
Coronado
will
see
the
morning
deliveries
of
all
the
trucks
that
stopped
here's
an
example
of
a
truck
stopping
delivering
and
then
a
car
on
the
other
aisle
by
popping
it
on
the
left.
Y
Besides
these
overabundance,
this
plethora
of
all
these
cycles,
these
vehicles,
we
also
have
the
people
who
aren't
are
riding
bicycles,
and
you
know
how
hard
we
are
trying
in
our
community
and
in
the
communities
surrounding
here
to
do
bicycle
paths.
So
we
have
two
normal
bicycles,
but
then
we
have
the
seated
bicycles,
for
example,
this
one's
pointed
out
and
just
recently
also
on
Gulf.
Y
You
I
saw
three
individuals
on
these
cycles,
riding
the
breast
taking
up
the
whole
way
with
that,
not
to
mention
our
seniors,
who
have
motorized
wheelchairs
and
are
crossing
not
by
the
crosswalks,
whatever
item
leisure
are
crossing.
So,
besides
these
vehicles
and
the
safety
issue,
we
are
going
to
add
this
I'm,
going
to
call
it
affectionately,
contraption,
where
we
have
people
sitting
and
drinking
behind
all
these
vehicles
that
we're
ready
to
experience
it.
Those
of
us
who
are
lockers
know
it's
hard
not
to
walk
anywhere
along
until
you
get
to
the
beach
walk.

no
on
the

to

Z
Our
own

of

chief

does
not
recommend
peddle
pubs
in
there
open
consumption
of
alcohol,
I
believe
if
you'd
like
to
offer
peddle
pubs
to
visitors
and
residents
of
Clearwater,
you
should
choose
a
safer
location.
Clearwater

is
the
most
congested

with
the
fewest
options
of
alternative

of
traffic.
If
you're
intent
on
promoting
peddle

please
find
two

not

the
various
city
agencies
regarding
the
ordinance
regulating
megacycles,
also
known
as
pebble
pubs,
and
to
voice
my
opposition
to
passage
of
the
ordinance
in
reviewing
the
ordinance
I
note
that
there
are
specific
requirements,
a
certificate
license
to
operate
the
business
credentials.
The
operator
must
have
as
well
as
insurance.
AA
AA
If,
if
you
remember
the
pedal
club
picture
that
was
shown
here
by
Chris,
there
were
no
seat
belts
and
no
seat
backs
on
this
vehicle.
I,
don't
know
if
that's
an
anomaly
or
that's
a
typical
one.
Will
the
council
burden
the
police
department
with
enforcement
of
all
these
regulations?
All
these
safety
regulations,
to
the
best
of
my
knowledge
chief
slaughter,
has
spoken
out
in
opposition
to
the
mecha
megacycles.
It's
a
good
reason
for
that.
What
is
the
penalty
for
a
violation?
Is
it
a
slap
on
the
wrist?
AA
Are
we
talking
about
a
citation
the
revocation
of
the
license,
I'm
unclear
on
that
I
have
one
final
question
for
the
council
and
the
city
agencies.
We
are
looking
up
and
up
to
15
people
on
a
vehicle
traveling
through
already
crowded
streets,
some
riders
who
may
or
may
not
wear
seatbelts
and
helmets
some
riders
and
may
or
may
not
have
too
much
to
drink.
What
possibly
could
go
wrong.
I
asked
the
council
what
possibly
could
go
wrong.
So
I
asked
the
council
to
deny
approval
of
the
megacycles,
also
known
as
penile
clubs.
Thank
you.
H
If
you
live
on
North
Beatrice
out,
Beach
you're
living
in
the
most
densely
populated
county
in
the
state
and
the
most
densely
populated
part
of
Clearwater,
and
maybe
in
Pinellas,
County
and
I
feel
bad
when
there's
real
bad
traffic.
But
when
I
see
people
on
all
these
rentals
they're,
not
in
a
car
taking
up
space
with
the
car-
and
you
got
a
time
if
you
want
to
go
out
there
once
in
season,
you
got
to
go
earlier
over
the
plate.
H
I
guess
the
I'm
not
gonna,
take
a
position
on
it
because
I
know
these
peddle
pubs
and
I've
seen
him
in
about
four
or
five
cities.
You
have
to
get
on
one
but
I
plan
to
probably
st.
Pete,
first
or
maybe
Clearwater
be
my
christening,
but
the
they're
not
as
dangerous
as
the
people.
In
a
lot
of
these
little
realms
that
scoot
around
I've
seen
them
whipping
through
the
neighborhood
on
up
to
North
Beach
up
to
the
you
can't
go
any
further
and
I've
seen
a
lot
of
people.
H
Impaired,
I,
sold
bikes
to
hotels
and
I
can
tell
when
a
bike
is
banged
up,
pretty
good.
You
know
I'm,
not
against
it.
In
the
trial
period,
I'm
not
gonna,
saying
should
happen
after
six
months
or
whatever
it
is.
But
the
pedal
pub
is
not
the
problem
with
the
traffic,
the
congestion
and
the
issues
for
safety
on
Clearwater
Beach
I.
H
Would
strongly
say
the
pedal
bulb
is
safer
than
most
of
the
things
that
people
rent
that
are
motorized,
where
all
you
have
to
do
is
get
in
and
hit
the
gas
and
or
riding
riding
a
two-wheel
bike
after
your
bar
hopping
on
your
beach
cruiser
like
a
lot
of
people
do
so
just
keep
that
in
mind.
If
you
turn
down
to
pedal
cause,
you
might
want
to
look
at
some
of
the
safety
issues
on
the
motorized
vehicles
that
are
rented
on
Clearwater
Beach.
Thank
you.
U
The
only
comment
I
can
make
is
I
understand
the
trepidation,
but
I
don't
buy
into
it
without
knowing,
if
it's
true
or
not
it.
You
know
this
is
a
six-month
trial
period
and
during
those
six
months
we're
going
to
answer
a
lot
of
the
questions
that
were
being
asked
and
if
we're
not
satisfied
with
those
answers
at
the
end
of
six
months,
we
can
say
no
more,
but
it's
a
six
month,
trial
period
and
I'm,
not
sure
all
of
the
negative
expectations
are
going
to
come
to
fruition.
I'm,
not
sure
many.
Y
A
AB
Counsel,
Matt
Smith,
State,
Attorney's,
Office,
the
the
alcohol
is,
is
BYOB
and
that's
because
floor
statutes
has
created
the
exemption
so
that
they're
not
subject
to
the
open
container
law
and
our
ordinance
also
creates
the
exemption
that,
while
they're
on
the
pedal
pub
are
allowed
to
at
the
alcohol.
So
it's
up
to
the
it's
up
to
the
vendor
to
store
the
alcohol.
But
it's
gonna,
be
it's
gonna,
be
limited
to
the
pedal
pub
and
they're
now
allowed
to
go
to
and
from
with
open
containers
once
they
get
off.

A
V
I
understand
that
there's
people
to
see
both
sides
of
this
I've
heard
from
a
lot
of
people
that
are
excited.
This
is
coming
and
I've
heard
people
that
have
reservations
about
it.
That's
why
we're
doing
a
six
month
program
pilot
program
to
see
if
it's
gonna
work
on
Clearwater
Beach.
Originally
we
had
it
downtown
and
we
knew
that
wasn't
gonna
work,
so
somebody's
gonna
make
a
big
investment
in
this.
V
V
I
got
up
when
people
are
writing
these
other
modes
of
transportation
are
not
writing
in
the
car,
which
is
one
reason
we're
trying
to
get
less
cars
on
the
beach
they're
having
fun
it's
as
an
experience,
not
only
for
the
you
know
the
people
that
we
have
coming
in
our
tourists,
but
local
people
to
will
go
out
and
use
this,
and
so
that's
why
I'm
gonna
vote
for
it,
because
I
think
it'd
be
a.
You
know,
I
think
a
lot
of
the
concerns.
I've
heard
it.
V
A
Q
A
Well
counsel:
my
position
hasn't
changed
either
as
I
explained.
If
we're
gonna
do
it,
you
almost
have
to
have
alcohol
on
it.
Otherwise
it's
it's
not
gonna
work,
but
we're
the
number
one
Beach
we're
a
family
beach,
a
family
beach,
doesn't
need
cuddle
pubs
with
drinking
on
it
to
retain
the
number
one
beach
in
the
community
in
the
country.
It's
beyond
my
you
know.
A
I
just
can't
understand
how
we
think
that
this
is
a
the
beach
should
be
used
for
experiments,
and
then
somebody
is
good
to
make
an
investment
and
we're
gonna
say
I
will
no
we're
sorry
we're
gonna.
Take
that
investment
away
from
you,
one
of
the
people
who
is
wanting
to
do.
This
apparently
has
already
made
that
investment
and
we're
rewarding
him,
possibly
if
he
gets
the
RFP.
You
do
not
understand
15
miles
an
hour
15
miles
an
hour
is
a
whole
lot
slower
than
these
other
modes
of
transportation.
A
That
we've
been
talking
about
I
doubt
that
you'll
have
gone
out
there
and
driven
15
miles
an
hour
to
see
what
happens
when
somebody
wants
to
pass
you
and
he
can't
because
you're
going
15
miles
an
hour.
The
beach
is
not
for
experiments.
I
am
very
disappointed
that
we
think
that
this
is
going
to
make
the
number
one
beach
even
better,
because
it's
not
motion
has
been
made
and
seconded
to
approve,
adopt
ordinance,
93,
58
20
on
second
reading,
all
in
favor
say
aye
opposed
no,
no,
no.
I
Quit
one
member
to
the
Community
Development
cords
with
expires,
February,
28,
2024
council
members
in
your
agenda
pack,
you
have
information
regarding
the
current
member,
who
is
my
planner
II
and
is
eligible
to
be
reappointed
and
has
expressed
an
interest
to
be
reappointed.
You
also
have
applications
for
Chelsea
Allison,
David,
J,
Peter,
Kohut
William
Fisher,
for
your
consideration.
I
do
want
to
clarify
from
the
work
session.
The
agenda
item
said
there
were
two
architects.
A
Counsel
light:
you
know,
our
policy
in
the
past
has
been
if
somebody
wants
to
be
retained,
that
we
allow
him
to
stay
on.
Mr.
Flannery
has
been
a
good
board
member.
He
maybe
he
had
doesn't
agree
with
some
of
the
downtown
attorneys.
Maybe
he
doesn't
agree
with
some
of
the
consultants
that
people
hired
to
to
come
before
the
Community
Development
Board,
but
he
brings
a
different
perspective.
Also.
He
comes
from
a
zip
code
that
we
haven't.
A
Had
you
know
if
we
don't
repay
him
in
appoint
somebody
else,
we're
liable
to
have
a
disparity
again
in
the
community
that
we've
tried
to
maintain,
but
by
having
people
from
different
parts
of
the
community
serving
on
these
boards
of
the
name
that
was
mentioned
the
other
day.
Well
he's
an
outstanding
member
of
the
community.
He
lives
in
a
zip
code.
That
already
has
two
people
you
know
represented
on
the
board.
A
I,
he
is,
would
be
the
third
you
know
architect
or
the
second
architect,
depending
on
how
you
want
you
know,
use
it
so
I
I'm
disappointed
when,
when
we
try
to
tell
people
that
we're
going
to
have
like
diverse
you
know,
representation
from
all
across
the
community
bringing
different
perspectives
that
now
we've
decided
to
change
that,
for
this
particular
case,
and
you
know,
I
would
hope
that
somebody
would
make
a
motion
to
retain
mr.
Flannery.
Mr.
Q
Q
U
U
U
Numbers
have
less
effect
and
less
meaning
than
almost
any
way.
This
is
a
board
that
is
strictly
composed
and
we
put
it
together.
It
is
composed
based
on
their
professional
talents,
I,
don't
care
where
they
live.
It's
there,
it's
their
experience,
business
experience
and
professional
talents
we're
looking
for
on
this
board.
U
Yes,
mr.
Flannery
is
an
engineer
mr.
Fischer,
who
I
will,
if
we
take
if
mr.
Flannery
is
not
selected,
although
we
have
a
second
for
it,
I
I
can
we
I
can
pull
my
second.
But
mr.
Flannery
is
an
engineer.
Mr.
Fischer
is
an
architect
and
in
very
telling
mr.
Flurry's
a
talented
engineer,
but
our
staff
city
staff.
We
don't
have
an
architect
on
staff
in
this
city,
so
that's
that's
a
discipline
that
we
don't
have
on
staff.
We
have
engineers,
we
have
a
stable
of
Engineers
and
multiple
multiple
disciplines
and
they're,
very
talented
people.
U
So
I,
don't
you
know,
III,
think
it's
better
to
have
the
eyes
of
a
discipline
that
we
don't
have
on
staff,
revealing
what
the
staff
is
doing
for
things
that
have
to
come
in
front.
Can
we
develop
board
rather
than
another
engineer
reviewing
what
an
engineers
our
engineers
have
already
done
so
I
think
it's
I
think
it
makes
sense
to
have
another
architect
and
I
know
how
tell
it
is,
and
it
like
is
in
no
way.
Is
that
a
slide
on
mr.
U
A
Q
Would
recommend
mr.
Flannery,
because
he
is
the
only
environmental
engineer
that
is,
that
is
on
our
list
and
he's
also
a
civil
but
he's
an
environmental
engineer
and
has
extensive
experience
with
them
as
chief
engineer
that
Pinellas
County
water
system
and
so
in
regards
to
water,
sewage,
quality
of
life,
maintaining
our
beautiful
environment
position
I
think
he
should.
He
should
continue
service
on
the
CDP.
A
I'm,
not
I'm,
gonna,
repeat
myself,
because
it
bothers
me
that
we
try
to
have
diversity
and
I
know.
Some
of
you
don't
like
to
hear
that
word,
but
we're
not
talking
about
friendships
here,
we're
talking
about
people
who
maybe
have
a
different
view
and,
in
my
opinion,
we're
trying
to
make
this
shift
at
the
last
minute,
because
mr.
Fischer
did
not
turn
in
his
application
until
January,
the
20th
or
23rd.
A
It
seems
to
me
that
mr.
Flannery
took
a
position
on
a
couple
of
issues
that
maybe
some
people
you
know
from
the
downtown
didn't
like,
and
so
now
we're
all
of
a
sudden
gonna
get
rid
of
him.
Because
of
that,
and
that's
that's
troubling
counsel
I
apologize
for
bringing
that
up,
but
I
think
it
needs
to
be
addressed
that
that
you
know
he
is
different.
Yes,
mr.
Cundiff
suggested
he
he
is,
you
know
he
hasn't
done
anything
wrong
and
in
the
past
our
position
has
been
that
you
allow
him
to
serve
a
second
term.
V
I,
don't
want
to
say
anything
bad
about
anybody,
but
I
did
sir
with
mr.
Flannery
on
the
CB
and
what
I
noticed
was
there
were
a
couple
of
members
of
the
city
being
that
always
wanted
to
change
our
code.
They
weren't
guided
by
our
code.
They
thought
that
it'd
be
better
to
change
the
code,
and
that
was
something
that
I
didn't
agree
with.
I
thought
our
job
on
the
CB
was
to
take
our
code,
and
that
was
what
we
decided,
whether
we
liked
it
or
not.
V
That's
what
we
decided
on
not
here's
what
we
ought
to
do
to
change
it
and
I
heard
that
more
than
more
than
once.
So
that's
the
reason.
I
asked
bill
Fisher,
not
because
of
any
friendship
because
of
and
I
don't
look
I
like
diversity,
people
out
there
might
not
think
we
do
because
we're
all
white
older
guys
up
here,
I
always
go
for
the
best
person
on
the
job
and
if
I
can
get
diversity
out
of
it
great.
V
But
it
always
my
first
choice
is
the
best
person
for
the
job
and
that's
why
I
asked
bill
Fisher
to
you,
know,
I'd,
ask
him,
and
he
that's
one
when
he
signed
up
for
this
and
I
think
that
he
is
the
absolute
best
person
for
this
job
and
we
have
diversity.
If
you
want
to,
we
have
a
lot
of
lawyers
there,
but
we
only
have
one
Landscape
Architect
and
two
architects
yeah.
V
He
would
be
the
second
one,
so
he
would
the
two
architects
and
a
landscape
architect,
but
that's
the
reason
why
and
I've
had
people
come
up
and
say
why
don't
we
have
a
neighborhood
person
on
this?
Well,
the
reason
it
is
is
because
you've
got
to
have
somebody
that
understands
the
codes.
That's
why
you
have
builders,
architects,
people
that
deal
with
this
every
day
and.
V
A
M
N
M
I
think
mr.
Hamilton
and
Oliver
and
having
some
compelling
arguments
and
for
me
in
anticipation,
the
new
council
is
gonna,
be
seated
in
eight
weeks.
I
really
really
hope
and
I
anticipate
private
investment
and
redevelopment
in
many
areas
not
only
downtown
but
the
us
19
corridor
and
not
having
an
architect
on
staff
and
only
one
architect
and
mr.
and
as
the
other
architect,
yeah
he's
exactly
he's
a
landscape.
Architect.
I
think
that
skill
set
will
be
needed
forecasting
the
future.
If
all
goes
well,
so
I'm
happy
that
mr.
Albritton
reached
out
to
him.
AD
My
name
is
Rudolph
Michael
ik,
presented
here
before
this
board
on
several
different
occasions.
The
appointment
of
an
individual
to
this
is
to
provide
a
fully
wrapped,
rounded
group
of
individuals
that
bring
the
experience,
education
and
knowledge
in
order
to
do
the
best
opportunity
when
looking
at
the
community
development
of
things
going
out.
This
is
not
an
area
in
which
people
as
what's
sad,
should
be
bringing
their
personal
preferences.
They
may
want
to
recommend
the
changes
in
the
code,
but
that
may
be
good
based
upon
the
circumstances
of
what
they
see
being
developed.

Think
I
would
just
say
that,
with
mr.
Flannery's
knowledge
over
the
last
four
years,
he's
already
a
knowledgeable
individual
that
that
is
going
from
day
one
he
doesn't
need
to
be
trained.
He
doesn't
need
to
go
through
a
special
education
in
between,
but
he's
ready
there
to
step
forward
and
get
things
done
properly
and
I
hope
that
the
council
will
actually
really
look
at
the
precedence
of
what
they
do
and
not
look
at
personal
issues
that
may
be
on
the
back
of
their
minds.
With
that
I
conclude.
AE
AE
I
think
his
perspective
is
important
and
it
would
be,
it
would
leave
a
hole
if
he
was
removed
and
another
architect
was
appointed
I,
see
no
reason
to
depart
from
precedent
and
not
reappoint
him
and
I
strongly
urge
you
to
keep
someone
who
might
have
a
different
interpretation
of
the
code
and
might
even
argue
for
changes
in
the
code.
I
think
that's
perfectly
appropriate
and
the
fact
that
there
are
engineers
on
staff
and
no
architects
on
staff
is
not
really
relevant,
because
the
CDP
is
in
a
decision-making
approval
role.
AE
AF
Council,
my
name
is
Gary
Baker
and
I'm
here
in
favor
of
Mike
pottery
as
well.
I
think
for
the
reasons
I've
been
stated,
we
really
do
need
to
have
an
environmental
engineer,
a
civil
engineer,
to
remove
one
of
our
two
engineers
and
increase.
The
number
of
architects
doesn't
make
a
whole
lot
of
sense.
To
me,
I,
don't
certainly
can
argue
that
we're
moving
toward
diversity
by
not
reappointing
mr.
Flannery,
in
fact,
I'm
afraid.
AF
AF
It's
true
than
in
a
few
instances.
He
has
rejected
some
of
the
arguments
of
the
developers
in
favor
of
arguments
made
by
by
president
and
by
neighborhood,
but
we
need
diversity.
We
need
to
have
different
ideas
that
are
expressed
before
that
board
he's
a
professional,
but
he
sees
things
differently
and
I
hope
that
and
I
urge
you
to
consider
his
qualifications.
AG
My
red
face
is
because
I'm
its
winburn,
because
I
sat
on
the
patio
to
write
the
secret
code.
Note
was
my
handwriting
Thank
You
mr.
mayor
for
this
opportunity
to
speak
in
June.
Mr.
Flannery
was
one
of
two
community
development
board
members
who
voted
against
the
valor
capital
high-rise.
We
all
remember
that
in
July
mr.
Flannery,
the
July
meeting
mr.
Flannery
wondered
aloud
whether
citizens
such
as
my
neighbors,
who
will
be
living
in
the
shadow
of
this
development
of
the
highways
shouldn't,
have
more
of
a
voice
in
these
matters.
AG
While
my
neighbors
and
I
appreciate
mr.
Flannery
Spode
I'm
sure
he
didn't
do
it
for
our
applause,
but
because
he
felt
it
was
the
right
thing.
Under
the
circumstances
now,
I'm
gonna
get
philosophical.
Some
stay
with
effective
and
humane
governance
depends
a
great
deal
on
public
perception.
Whatever
arguments
discussion
or
points
you
may
make
with
each
other,
it's
what
those
arms
this
room
that
will
be
remembered
to
I
in
arguing
that
you
stick
with
your
customary
your
custom
and
a
point
mr.
AG
Flannery,
to
another
term,
because
otherwise
it
will
be
perceived
as
punishment
for
his
well
intended
votes
by.
Byproduct
of
that
perception
will
be
cynicism
and
distrust
of
the
motives
and
interests
of
the
governing
body.
Before
you
recoil
and
suspect
me
of
accusing
you
of
something
again,
I'm,
not
stating
an
opinion
about
this
body,
I'm
stating
a
probable
outcome
of
a
decision
which
will
be
perceived
as
being
punishment
for
taking
a
negative
vote
and
as
for
the
composition
of
the
plot
of
the
board,
every
year,
you
get
a
chance
to
appoint
more
people.
AG
So
the
four
or
five
people
who
already
been
mentioned,
assume
they're
in
queue
for
the
for
the
next
opening.
So
with
that,
I
just
want
to
say,
I
think
you
should
adhere
to
custom
and
reappoint
mr.
Flannery
and
by
the
way,
I
would
be
glad,
especially
mr.
mayor
and
a
planning
director
I'd
love
to
go
15
rounds
about
how
the
board
has
been
posed,
because
I
suspect
I've,
attended.
Hundreds
of
planning
board
meetings.
H
My
name
is
Mike
Reardon.
This
is
actually
only
the
second
thing.
I
actually
came
here
to
talk
about
I,
don't
know
either
one
of
these
gentlemen,
but
they
walked
in
the
room.
I've
only
been
to
one
community
development
board
meeting
and
I
spoke
on
behalf
of
Mike.
Nobody
knows
to
have
my
business
in
getting
torn
down
on
that,
but
this
doesn't
pass
the
smell
test.
H
Have
you
ever
seen
this
many
people
show
up
to
speak
on
behalf
of
an
appointment
of
an
existing
member
on
a
board.
Who's
done
a
great
job.
It
has
the
expertise
and
the
only
time
there's
really
a
issue
when
a
lot
of
people
show
up
and
it's
a
community
development
board
is
when
there's
a
hot-button
topic
like
we've,
had
lately
and
I'm
sure
mr.
Fisher's,
a
great
candidate
race,
11th
hour
candidate,
and
it's
breaking
Preston
him.
It's
just
a
regardless
of
the
intentions.
It
doesn't
pass
the
smell
test.
H
It's
gonna
leave
here
now,
I'm
not
going
to
say
it's
the
reason
why,
but
we
got
two
lame
duck
candidates
promoting
it.
I
mean
voting
forward.
Mr.
Holabird
has
got
a
couple
more
years.
He's
asked
the
gentleman
to
sign
this.
We
would
be
having
this
conversation
if
mr.
Fisher
hadn't
been
asked
to
join
this,
this
board-
I
don't
know
if
these
other
candidates
other
than
mr.
Flannery
but
I
mean
it
I
think
would
be.
We
would
be
having
this
conversation
when
it
didn't
approve
on
the
earlier
appointments.
H
This
is
even
a
very
bad
impression,
and
this
is
why
people
claim
about
the
good
old
boy
network
and
all
this
other
stuff
like
that
and
I.
Don't
doubt
what
mr.
Hamilton
said
that
he's
a
great
candidate,
and
but
this
is
wrong.
You
need
to
appoint
this
gentleman
back.
If
mr.
Fisher
is
in
I,
don't
know
if
it's
another
year
or
two
years,
because
the
candidates
come
and
go
a
different
thing.
He
can
reapply
in
a
timely
manner
and
be
on
this
board.
H
I
may
be
on
the
next
go-around
I
know,
people
who've
been
turned
down
for
this
board
and
then
reappointed.
One
of
the
gentlemen,
the
landscape
architect,
was
on
the
Charter
Review,
not
the
Charter.
With
you,
the
code
Ward
I
was
armed
and
he
was
gone
like
in
less
than
a
year
and
he
was
turned
down
the
first
time.
In
fact,
I
think
mr.
author
had
was
appointed
to
the
board
community
vellum
board
and
then
the
landscape
architect
that
on
later,
as
you
left
it
do,
the
council
do
not
make
this
change.
It.
H
K
K
Some
that
have
already
been
mentioned.
I
want
to
add
one
more:
the
special
skills
that
mr.
Flannery
have
Ward
the
council
following
the
normal
precedent
to
reappoint
him
to
the
borders.
The
city
of
Clearwater
has
recently
established
the
office
of
sting
sustainability
and
is
really
just
getting
this
office
rolled
out
and
in
place.
K
Mr.
fineries
background,
as
an
environmental
engineer,
with
special
experience
related
to
water
resources,
is
a
unique
set
of
skills
that
would
complement
the
office
of
sustainability,
especially
because
the
Community
Development
Board
looks
at
code
changes
coming
forward
and
providing
feedback
and
suggestions
to
the
council
on
ordinances.
The
staffers
has
proposed
councilmember,
Albritton
I,
think
you
bring
up
a
good
point
about
following
the
code
instead
of
making
the
code
different
and
in
one
of
the
examples
that
helps
as
that
I
have
been
investigated
in
details,
I
believe
that
mr.
K
Flannery
was
following
the
code
provisions
at
3,
9
14
that
were
enhanced
by
majority
vote
and
I.
Think
mr.
Hamilton
was
actually
part
of
the
vote
that
that
put
them
in
place
to
protect
a
neighborhood
in
those
special
circumstances
where
it
wouldn't
quite
the
normal
rules,
wouldn't
fit.
That
was
what
Charlie
seaman
put
in
place
and
you
can
look
at
the
training
video
that
was
done
in
2004
to
see
that.
So
in
this
case,
mr.
Flannery
was
following
the
code
and
and
I
don't
think
he
should
be
criticized
for
that.
K
This
is
a
perhaps
an
issue
of
process
which
is
different
than
an
issue
of
judgment.
Professional
judgment
can
vary,
but
if
somebody
like
mr.
Flannery
is
following
the
process
and
is
a
disciplined
to
that
process,
then
I
say
he's
got
another
thing
going
for
him
on
the
board,
because
we
do
need
the
process
to
be
consistent
and
rapid
in
order
to
encourage
development.
S
Default
1030
is
centered
out.
I
was
to
say
that
mr.
Flannery
I
believe
he
is
one
who
does
listen
to
the
rules.
In
my
personal
personal
opinion,
the
8-hour
marathon
we
had
with
cdb,
he
was
the
only
one
that
listened
to
us.
He
and
one
other
person,
and
he
knew
what
we
were
talking
about.
He
didn't
know
what
3-9
14
meant
and
he
wanted
to
follow
it.
Of
course
they
got
outvoted
five
to
two,
but
he
was
following
the
rules
he's
four
neighborhoods.
S
F
Took
ten
car
previously
Patrick
rafter
resident
Clearwater
for
the
last
40
years,
I
did
not
know
mr.
Flannery,
nor
do
I
know
any
member
of
the
CDP.
However,
this
issue
disturbed
me
from
this
extent,
as
far
as
I
can
tell
there's
two
architects
on
the
board
one
civil
engineer
and
one
environmental
engineer.
Mr.
Flannery
mr.
Flannery
came
up
for
reappointment
and
my
understanding
is
outside
of
conduct
issues,
and/or
attendance
issues.
That
reappointment
is
typically
done
without
question.
In
this
particular
case,
that's
not
going
to
be
done.
F
He
is
going
to
be
replaced
by
another
civil
engineer.
One
of
the
things
that
we
can
accomplish
in
the
business
world,
as
well
as
in
this
type
of
board,
is
diversity
not
so
much
diversity
of
the
individual
themselves,
but
the
professional
background
and
experience
and
the
voice
that
they
will
bring
to
the
discussions.
Everybody
will
not
agree
with
them,
but
at
least
the
voice
will
be
heard
and
therefore
I
recommend
that
we
maintain
the
balance
of
a
environmental
engineer
whose
voice
will
be
heard
going
forward
in
the
person
of
mr.
Flannery.
F
Another
item
I
have
concerned
with
is
in
the
business
world.
I
have
terminated
people
I,
relieve
them
of
the
responsibilities
and
I've
reassigned,
but
I've
always
been
able
to
look
them
in
the
eye
and
say
this
is
why
this
happened
and
if
I'm
mr.
Flannery
and
I
did
my
duty.
The
way
I
should
do
it
and
I
was
in
attendance
at
those
meetings.
I
would
not
understand
why
I'm
not
being
reappointed
and
I
think
he's
owed
an
explanation
if
he
is
not
being
reappointed
and
I.
F
E
Coughs
traitor,
Clearwater
resident
mr.
Flannery
brings
the
perspective
of
being
in
an
environmental
engineer
to
the
board.
I
think
that's
gonna
be
sorely
lacking.
If
he's
not
reappointed,
he
might
have
a
problem
with
the
code
and
he
says
it
needs
to
be
changed
once,
namely
there's
a
candidate.
That's
running
for
a
council
seat
that
you're
gonna
be
is
gonna,
be
leaving
on
its
platform.
He
says
he
wants
to
change
the
code,
so
should
he
be
eliminated
from
the
race?
How
do
you
vote?
Thank
you.
Z
Kathleen
Backman
I
am
urging
you
to
retain
mr.
Mike
Flannery
on
our
Clearwater
Community
Development
Board.
In
the
spirit
of
transparency.
It
is
not
clear
why
the
why
there
was
discussion
on
Monday's
work
session
to
not
extend
a
second
term
of
service
to
mr.
Flannery.
He
would
like
to
continue
his
service
as
a
member
of
our
development
board
and
I
believe
he
should
be
retained.
I'm
not
going
to
comment
on
mr.
Flannery's
decisions,
but
I
urge
you
to
retain
mr.
Flannery
because
he
is
highly
qualified.
He
brings
unique
credentials
and
diverse
experience
to
the
board.
Z
Mike
Flannery
has
lived
here
over
45
years
near
the
Greenwood
community,
he's
a
licensed
civil
and
environmental
engineer
with
an
advanced
degree
in
public
health.
He
was
chief
engineer
for
the
Pinellas
County
Water
System.
He
has
served
as
director
of
engineering
for
the
County
Health
Department.
He
knows
about
utilities
and
road,
construction,
water,
sewage,
beach,
water
quality,
sea-level
rise
and
the
many
unique
challenges
we
face
in
protecting
our
environment
while
navigating
development
he
served
on
the
green
print
committee
when
he
was
also
on
the
environmental
advisory
board.
Mr.
Z
Flannery's
credentials
cannot
easily
be
matched
with
another
appointee.
We
don't
need
another
architect
on
the
boy
I
mean
we
must
retain
an
environmental
engineer
on
this
important
board.
This
is
not
just
an
advisory
board
because
of
our
city
charter.
This
is
a
board
with
real
power.
Mr.
Flannery
is
only
one
vote,
but
the
perspective
he
brings
and
his
wealth
of
knowledge
and
experience
is
invaluable
to
this
board.
Please
retain
mr.
Flannery
honor
Clearwater,
Community,
Development,
Board
I
believe
we're
fortunate
to
have
him
offer
his
expertise.
A
U
U
I
know
his
integrity
and
I
think
if
he's
been
watching
this
tonight,
he
would
personally
be
uncomfortable
in
the
conflict
that
he's
creating
or
that
is
being
created
by
this.
So
I'm
gonna
tell
you
right
now,
the
next
opening
on
the
queenie
development
board
and
and
rose.
I
will
be
getting
with
you
to
find
out.
You
know
when
the
you
know
who
you
know
when
the
next
one
is
and
if
it's
someone
who's
very
important
available
for
reappointment
or
not
that
mr.
U
V
Oh,
you
guys
have
really
gotten
through
to
me
and
I
I
appreciate
everything
that
was
said
tonight.
I
think
bill
would
be
a
great
addition
to
our
CDB,
not
because
I
have
any
problems
with
any
kind
of
voting
that
was
done,
but
I
can
tell
you
this.
Anybody
that
serves
on
a
board
in
our
city
and
mr.
Frye,
and
he
has
Flannery,
has
for
four
years.
V
I
give
kudos
to
that
I
mean
that's
a
public
service
and
he
you
know,
I
didn't
I,
don't
want
to
come
off
this
dives
tonight
with
any
bad
things
to
say
or
feeling
I've
want
to
have
any
bad
things
about.
Mr.
Flannery,
you
guys
have
all
with
your
comments
changed
my
mind.
So
I
would
I'm
gonna
vote
to
retain
him.
A
Thank
you,
you're
correct.
Mr.
Fisher
would
be
an
excellent
candidate
and
member
of
this
ward,
his
community
involvement,
is
stellar.
He
believes
in
the
city
of
Clearwater,
but
this
isn't
the
right
time
to
put
him
on
the
board
and
so
I
appreciate
hearing
from
the
public
and
the
comments
made
by
my
colleagues
motion
has
been
made
and
seconded
to
reappoint
mr.
Flannery,
all
in
favor,
say
aye
aye
opposed
no
motion
carries
unanimously.

with
a
vendor
called
skytran,
and
it
is
really
a
futuristic
way
to
travel
and
be
trained
for
the
last
four
years
has
been
waiting
very
patiently
for
skytran
to
get
the
working
model
ready
and
I
see
Tom
no
Sarab.
The
CEO
is
here
this
evening
during
the
comments
he
may
have
something
to
say.
Q
This
is
not
a
proposal
for
a
system.
It
is
an
idea
for
a
system
that
could
be
when
the
time
comes,
for
us
to
vote
on
various
proposals.
This
will
give
them
the
encouragement
that
they
need
also
for
their
their
vendor.
Who
is
looking
for
a
place
to
start
to
have
the
first
commercial
commercial
system
in
the
United
States
I
wanted
to
point
out
one
thing
that
Hoyt
had
said
the
other
night
about
not
wanting
to
be
the
first.
This
actually
would
not
be
the
first
in
in
the
world.
Q
Q
Q
A
U
T
U
T
U
Okay,
because
I
mean
I
I'm
fine,
with
this
resolution,
I
mean
if
this
is
something
that
can
be
actually
developed
and
implemented.
It'd
be
interesting
to
say,
I'm,
not
sure
it'll
be
in
my
lifetime,
because
if
you
said
you
know
the
all
the
other
locations,
India
and
Abu
Dhabi
and
everything
you're
going
to
get
them
before
us.
You
know
you
will
have
a
pretty
good
knowledge
at
that
point.
Whether
or
not
a
you
know
just
how
effective
they
are
be.
I
know
how
long
it
takes
to
build.
U
This
kind
of
thing,
I
mean
just
what
you
showed
us
in
Clearwater
I
would
think
is
a
probably
a
two-year
construction
project,
and
that
won't
happen
until
Abu,
Dhabi
and
everywhere
else
has
got
theirs.
So
we're
probably
10
years
ten
years
or
more
out
for
Claire
water,
so
I
mean
this
resolution
feels
good.
It's
a
feel-good
thing
doesn't
commit
us
to
anything,
doesn't
cost
us
any
money.
So
what
that.
A
A
Transportation-
and
these
were
general-
not
singling
out
was
not
because
there
are
several
different
types
of
aerial
type.
You
know
we've
had
presentations
from
Sky
trend.
Previously,
we've
had
I
believe
we
had
it's,
not
a
public
Trent,
some
background
briefings
on
a
gondola
system
and
things
like
that.
So
council
I'm
afraid
that
if
we
do
something
like
this
for
skytran,
then
we're
gonna
have
every
other
business.
A
That's
a
startup
or
whatever
wanting
to
at
least
say
well,
the
city
of
Clearwater
is
supporting
us,
we're
not
supporting
it,
but
that's
what
they're
gonna
say
and
Mister
Cundiff
even
said
it
himself.
All
smart
is
supporting
this
because
they've
passed
a
resolution
and
Pasco
County.
So
in
my
opinion
this
just
opens
us
up.
Every
council
meeting
to
have
some
other
business
come
before
us
and
say
give
me
a
resolution.
That's
not
gonna
bublik,
eight,
the
city
but
I
can
say
that
I've
got.
You
know,
you're
backing
and
that's
what's
gonna
happen.
V
Right
I
disagree
with
you.
This
is
a
local
business
here
in
Clearwater,
it's
working
with
a
national
company
skytran.
In
fact,
I
came
yesterday.
They
had
this
guy
trend
executives
down,
they
are
to
mr.
Hamilton's
point.
This
isn't
something
that
they
have
a
working
model
of
now,
but
it
is
something
we've
never
seen
before.
It
is
not
a
gondola,
it's
not
electronic.
V
Is
behind
any
kind
of
thing
that
can
take
cars
off
the
road
because
we
have
lots
of
cars
on
the
road.
This
is
environmentally
good
because
it
doesn't
create
any
exhaust,
it's
all
magnetic
and
if
it
could
get
people
and
it
can
get
products
around
with
no.
Nothing
in
this
resolution
ties
the
city
to
any
kind
of
monetary
support
of
this,
but
just
to
say,
Beach
Tran.
You
know
we're
we're
behind
you
go
ahead
and
get
this
thing
developed,
I,
look
at
it
that
way
and
I
don't
have
a
problem
with
that.
U
One
of
my
early
suggestions
is
the
video
that
we
were
shown
going
forward.
They
may
want
to
update
it
and
not
have
Tropicana
Field
and
they're,
giving
local
given
recent
developments
between
the
city
of
st.
Pete
in
the
Rays
I'm,
not
sure
you're
gonna
need
to
be
going
down
to
Tropicana
too
much
longer
so
we'll
have
to
see.
A
Let
me
just
read
one
of
the
warez
clauses:
mr.
Albritton,
whereas
beach
trent,
clearwater
LLC,
believes
that
skytran
possesses
the
best
technological
solution.
That's
what
we're
saying
in
here.
It's
a
patented
solution,
yeah,
but
we're
saying
that
we
we
agree
that
we
think
it's
one
of
the
best.
Then
it's
the
best.
No,
this
ain't
meet
strength,
Clearwater
no
I
know
but
we're
putting
it
in
our
resolution,
and
so
that
becomes
us
saying
this.
A
A
AH
Cities
I've
got
six
hundred
Cleveland
Street
just
develop
over
there.
That's
my
office
address
and
not
in
2016
I
appeared
before
the
board.
Skytrain
I
invited
them
here
to
check
out
Clearwater
for
the
first
time
we
were
hopeful
that
their
technology
would
advance
in
time
for
for
us
to
actually
have
spades
in
the
ground
before
it
next
year.
AH
Super
Bowl,
that's
not
going
to
be
possible
that,
however,
we
think
that
the
water
can
be
positioned
to
have
a
fantastic
system
that
will
put
clear
water
on
the
map
for
for
something
very
positive
in
the
near
future.
But
I
can't
say
right
now
that
many
of
you
will
still
be
on
the
City
Council
by
the
time
this
comes
before
the
City
Council
for
approval.
However,
the
ground
work
that
you're
doing
by
this
small
step
will
help
pave
the
way
for
whoever's
the
sitting
in
your
seats
in
the
future.
AH
AH
You
go
in
the
list
of
the
billionaire's,
but
the
point
that
I'm
getting
to
is
they're
looking
now
to
relocate
from
California
California's,
not
a
very
business
friendly
environment,
they
are
looking
at
Texas.
They
are
looking
at
Florida
that
are
looking
at
other
places.
We
have
them
here.
Yesterday
they
were
looking
for
our
headquarters.
We've
talked
to
them
about
the
aerco
golf
course
site.
They've,
seen
that
they
talked
to
Mike
my
dell
about
the
possibility
of
locating
there.
They
need
to
have
70
acres
because
that's
their
test
truck.
AH
It's
gonna
require
70,
acre
plot
of
land,
there's
only
one
other
70
acre
plot
right
now
available.
That's
the
spill
for
a
chemical
company
up
in
Tarpon
Springs,
just
you
know
something
else
that
they
need
to
look
at.
They
also
went
over
and
looked
at
the
mostly
property
in
Tampa,
which
is
a
vacant
now
and
sits
on
78
I
wanted
to
do
a
just
myths,
not
correct
process
of
the
last
time
now
I'll
be
before
you
and
I
want
to.
Thank
you
for
your
service
and
your
wisdom.
AH
G
Mr.
Hulu
got
a
card,
this
elevated,
mass
transit
ID
is
apparently
one
of
dr.
kundan's
pet
projects
and
it's
very
wrongheaded.
There's
nothing
wrong
with
you
know
installing
some
mass
transit
or
running
more
buses
or
whatever
the
idea
of
it
being
elevated
or
aerial,
is
just
wrong
and
I've
written
emails
to
you,
dr.
Condon,
about
this,
the
aerial
you
know
pillars
and
the
spans
and
all
that
stuff,
they're
they're
visually.
G
You
know
not
pleasing
we'll
find
out
what
happens
to
you
know
elevated
trains
and
so
forth,
go
on
the
south
side
of
Chicago
and
see
what
it
looks
like
I
maintain.
In
my
opinion,
you
know
the
reason
Chicago
has
you
know
some
of
their
crime
problems
is
because
of
the
elevated
train.
I.
Think
it's
linked
directly
I
think
there's
been,
you
know,
sociological
studies
that
link
it
directly
and.
G
G
G
AD
From
Clearwater
point
as
a
former
resident
of
Chicago
I
will
tell
you
with
respect
if
you
want
to
move
two
million
people
from
one
end
of
the
city,
so,
together
into
the
city
four
times
a
day,
you
end
up
with
elevated,
that's
just
the
fact
of
life.
With
regards
to
the
conversation
tonight,
there
are
two
really
two
separate
issues
as
I
see
them.
AD
Okay,
I
know
that
and
I'm
sure.
All
of
you
know
that
so
with
with
regards
to
looking
at
other
public
transportation
services,
whether
that
be
elevated
or
whatever
I
think
it's
always
in
the
best
interest
of
the
city
to
be
looking
at
those
opportunities
to
see
what
makes
the
best
sense
to
move
people
back
and
forth
without
jamming
a
very
narrow
roadway.
AD
With
regards
to
the
motion,
which
I
think
is
really
where
the
issue
is
tonight,
if,
if
there
is
a
little
discomfort
with
some
of
the
wording,
I
would
simply
ask:
could
this
go
to
a
work
session
where
the
wording
can
be
worked
out
properly
and
then
and
then
quickly
brought
back
at
the
next
meeting,
because
I,
don't
I,
guess
I'm
parsing
words
here:
I'm,
not
against
having
a
motion,
but
I
think
it
should
be
the
right
wording
and
that
would
facilitate
everybody's
opportunity.
Thank
you
very
much.
A
Anybody
else
from
the
public
speak
to
the
motion
in
council.
I
I
will
you
know,
y'all
know
where
I
stand
on
this
particular
motion
I
like
that
idea
that
maybe
we
just
do
a
more
general
resolution.
You
know
on
aerial
transport
and
just
leave
it
at
that.
You
know
take
out
the
references
to
a
particular
vendor
because
that's
what
this
is
and
because
there
may
be
somebody
else
out
there
that
we're
not
aware
of
whether
they're
based
in
Clearwater
or
not.
A
A
T
A
A
U
Wording
in
this
you
know
where
it
says:
city,
clear,
water,
encouraging
beach
training
sky
trainer-
that
also
by
no
means
does
not
allow
someone
else
to
bring
in
another
option.
So
I
mean
you're
right.
You
know
we
could
do.
We
could
do
feel
good,
no
teeth.
Resolutions
till
the
cows
come
home
at
every
meeting.
If
we
wanted
to
and
I
would
not
advise
us
to
get
to
that
to
get
to
that
point,
but
you
know
this
one,
you
know
there's
been
a
lot
of
work
put
into
it
by
mister,
no
Sarah.
A
Mr.
Becerra,
by
the
way
your
voicemail
is
full
and
you
can't
I
wasn't
able
to
leave
you
a
waste
message.
I
tried
a
couple
days
so
anyway,
I'm
just
that's.
Why
I
didn't
call
you
back,
even
though
I
did
a
motion
has
been
made
and
seconded
all
in
favor,
say:
aye
no
motion
carries
I'm
closing
comments.
Mr.
Kondo,
nothing.
A
Pod,
ladies,
no
thank
you
mr.
Allbritton,
nothing.
Mr.
Hamilton,
good
I
want
to
congratulate
our
Teacher
of
the
Year
David
Martinez
Cooley,
who
is
a
music
teacher,
Delilah
Davis
elementary
school.
He
was
named
this
week
as
the
or
I
guess
it
was
last
week
as
the
Pinellas
County
Teacher
of
the
Year.
When
a
thank
the
Clearwater
high
school
ambassadors
had
really
all
the
high
schools
from
Clinton
from
Pinellas
County
that
came
together
for
a
unity,
walk
from
Clearwater
Beach
to
coachmen
park
and
for
the
rally
I
know.
A
Most
of
you
have
probably
already
seen
the
videos
and
the
pictures
of
thrummed.
From
that
event,
it
was
really
encouraging
to
see
these
young
people
participating
and
walking
hand
in
and
all
the
council
was
there
which
again
you
know
speaks
to.
While
we
may
disagree
at
times
when
it
comes
to
something
that
promotes
the
city
of
Clearwater,
the
council.
Is
there
the
city
stout,
the
city
manager,
you
know
was
there
and
we
try
to
do
our
best
to
promote
Clearwater.
A
Make
sure
that
that
all
of
you
understand
what
a
great
place
it
is
for
us
to
be
able
to
call
it
home.
Want
to
remind
everybody
that
clear
waters,
long-standing
softball
tradition,
continues
for
really
the
rest
of
the
month.
Every
weekend.
Between
now
and
the
end
of
the
month
there
will
be
women's
fastpitch
softball,
bringing
some
of
the
best
college
teams
in
the
country
to
Clearwater.
Last
year
we
had
Oklahoma
and
Florida
State.
A
That
was
ranked
number
one
and
number
two
in
the
country
they're
not
coming
back,
but
the
new
number
one
teams
are
last
year:
UCLA
did
not
participate,
Michigan
did
not
participate
and
they
were
clamoring
to
get
an
invitation
to
come.
To
this
event,
Michelle
Smith,
who
is
an
Olympian
of
softball
champion,
has
been
spearheading
that
with
ESPN
and
visit
Saint
Pete
Clearwater.
So
we're
proud
of
that
tradition
that
we
have
here
in
Clearwater
speaking
of
traditions,
we
also
will
be
bringing
the
Phillies
spring.
A
Training
is
coming
back,
pitchers
and
catchers
will
be
reporting
on
Wednesday
February,
the
12th
February,
the
11th,
we're
going
to
have
the
candidates
forum
for
the
mayor's
race
will
be
here,
a
reception
at
6
o'clock,
and
then
the
forum
discussion
will
begin
at
7
o'clock.
I
believe
al
Rochelle
is
going
to
be
moderating
that
event,
and
if
you
don't
want
to
be
here
in
person,
you
will
be
able
to
watch
it
on
streaming.
Video
or
city
council
seats
will
have
that
same
format
on
Wednesday
February.
The
12th
soccer
is
back
in
town.
A
Also
the
Philadelphia
Union
and
DC
United
Soccer
Club
major
league
soccer
are
doing
their
spring
training
here
and
clear.
What?
If
they
do
it
a
little
differently?
They
do
split
sessions,
but
there
will
be
games
that
Joe
DiMaggio
training
at
the
Walter
Campbell
I
in
the
North
Greenwood
area.
We
would
encourage
you
to
go
and
see
these
professional
soccer
players
and
thank
them
for
the
work
that
they're
doing
with
our
youth
soccer
programs
throughout
the
city.
