speak
and
welcome
you
all
here,
for
our
inaugural
community
invited
staff
invited
gay
pride
flag
raising
event
today.
Last
year,
I'd
asked
our
city
manager
bill
horn
to
raise
the
flag
on
june
1st
in
honor
of
gay
pride
month,
and
he
did,
and
that
was
phenomenal.
I
was
super
happy
that
it
it
was
raised
right
here
and
it
flew
for
a
month,
but
today
is
even
better.
We
have
the
entire
city
invited
to
come
and
and
honor
this
and
participate.

oldest
gay
bar
here
in
pinellas
county
right
down
on
cleveland
street
is
here
and
where
is
steve,
handing
out
the
little
buttons
yep.
I
know
you-
and
I
talked
last
year
about
this,
so
woohoo
super
happy
and
again
welcome.
I
think
this
is
exciting
to
have
the
mural
here.
I
didn't
know
that
there
was
painting
right
after
I
wouldn't
have
worn
these
clothes,
but
maybe
I
can
do
a
little
bit.
So

community
to
make
an
event
happen,
so
I
wanted

recognize

partners

the
community

have
contributed
to
this
and
to
a
long
time
coming

recognition

community
pride
in
the
city.

recognize

we

in
the
audience
today.

we

officially
raise
the
flag
and
then
we
invite
you
all

contribute
your
on
mark
to
this
community
mural.
As
the
start
of
bigger
and
really
amazing
things
for
the
city,
we
will
be
having
a
large
community
permanent
mural
that
will
be
happening
soon
as
well.
