A
Your
businesses
and
the
first
test
that
we
got
backwards
from
this
storage
facility
that
is
smack-dab
in
the
middle
of
the
neighborhood.
Obviously
it's
just
for
being
white
buildings
right
now,
but
the
property
owner
did
say
yes
to
the
first
building
that
faces
MLK
from
Howard
Street
in
Ewing
and
I,
reached
out
to
the
community
and
said
hey.
We
got
a
wall
to
paint.
What
do
you
guys
say
about
what
you
want
to
see
here?
A
You
know
what
kind
of
message
do
you
want
to
wake
up
and
respond
to
every
day
kind
of
go
along
with
that,
so
I
planned
these
mural
meetups
and
I
made
some
interactive
coloring
sheets
to
really
give
the
community
an
opportunity
to
get
their
hands
in
on
the
design
and
be
a
part
of
that
process.
I
think
I've
collected
over
a
hundred
drawings
from
this
at
local
community
events,
I,
would
just
pop
up
with
my
coloring
station
and
just
tell
the
kids.
We
got
a
mural
coming.
We
need
your
inspiration.
A
But
you
really
just
wanted
to
capitalize
that
this
is
a
community
arts
in
engagement
process,
and
some
underlying
things
is
that
we
do
want
to
increase
the
property
values
in
the
area.
We
see
that
there
is
some
blight
and
there's
just
some
opportunity
for
some
TLC,
and
so
that's
one
of
the
catalysts
for
this
project
and
as
Chris
also
explained,
we
found
last
night
that
we
are
already
in
line
with
a
lot
of
the
guidelines
for
the
master
plan.
We
are
strengthening
the
community
identity.
A
We
are
a
proponent
of
civic
engagement
as
well
as
impacting
the
city
image
like
Bellevue
is
just
outside
of
the
downtown
area.
You
know
you
can
either
go
left
or
right
or
to
the
beach,
so
I'm
suggesting
you
guys
make
a
left
and
come
on
yeah
and
another
component
that
we
pulled
from
the
master
plan
was
leveraging
the
impact
of
these
projects
by
cholesterin
and
Creek
and
clustering
in
key
locations,
and
so
with
the
storm
drain
murals
we
can
see
where
75%
of
the
way
done
down.
Em.
A
Okay,
we've
identified
one
of
the
sites,
which
is
the
storage
unit
that
we
can
paint
on
and
the
dragon
represents
where
that
home
is
in
comparison
to
the
entire
neighborhood.
And
so
we
really
want
to
we're
going
to
finish
up
the
storm
drain
mirrors
in
February
and
put
our
sights
on
the
payment
intersection,
because
this
process
and
this
project
has
been
going
so
well.
A
That
is,
I
have
already
reached
out
for
a
lot
of
support
early,
as
my
media
director
here
has
been
a
part
of
all
of
the
events,
capturing
images
and
make
for
us,
I
would
say:
I
have
exhausted
the
resources
from
the
city
of
Clearwater
about
birth,
with
Chris
and
Juliana,
who
have
made
this
project
very
effective
and
easy
to
move
on
down
the
pipe
tree.
Of
course,
we
reached
out
to
Pinellas
Community
Foundation
that
did
give
us
a
starter
grant
to
get
this
project
underway
reached
out
to
Walmart.
A
So
that
we
need
your
help
and
so
the
funds
for
this
project
would
go
to
hiring
the
artist
and
we
have
reached
out
to
several
artists
some
names
given
to
us
by
the
city,
some
relationships
that
I've
built
with
local
artists
as
well
to
pay
for
the
paint
for
us
to
continue
to
organize
these
things
and
get
these
projects
completed.
So
that's
all.
B
A
We
do
have
a
sketch
and
I
did
not
bring
it
with
me,
but
they
would
go
on
the
payment
intersection.
Kumba
was
the
artist
who
suggested
this
idea
for
us
and
he
is
a
street
artist
for
a
lack
of
better
terms
and
he
would
draw
them
out
or
have
the
kids
come
and
paint
them
out
and
maybe
put
their
initials
or
something
like
that,
so
that
they
can
be
literally
stamped
into
the
ground
as
a
part
of
history.
They're.
C
Painted
intersection
is
really
who,
for
this
neighborhood
it's
been
a
process,
it's
been
going
on
and
trying
to
get
approval
for
a
number
of
years.
Now
the
Planning
and
Development
and
neighborhoods
coordinator
julianna
green,
has
been
working
hand
in
hand
with
them
and
with
our
traffic
operations
division
to
get
this
pilot
study
approved.
So
they
are
one
of
two
neighborhoods
that
will
be
able
to
do
participate
in
as
part
of
the
pilot
study
and
get
those
painted
intersections.
A
This
intersection
is
actually
four
stop
signs
and
it
will
be
the
entire
intersection,
but
it's
not
like
a
drew
Street
intersection
at
stoplights.
It's
a
smaller
scale
situation
and
it's
really
in
a
key
space
in
the
community.
We
have
a
stop
and
shop
there.
We
have
a
police
substation
building
my
Park
to
the
left
and
then
it's
just
a
community.
D
A
For
materials
we
have
not
yet
luckily,
the
city
of
Clearwater
has
been
a
partner
for
us
with
the
storm
drain
murals,
as
well
as
the
artist
who
I've
reached
out
to
have
their
own
sources
for
getting
materials
and
supplies
like
that.
So
I
guess
when
the
time
comes,
it'd
be
really
neat
to,
and
we
will
because
they
have
programs.
Okay,
thank
you.
Mm-Hmm.
D
C
C
See
the
sculpture,
360
program
them
downtown.
This
will
be
our
tenth
anniversary
and
I
wanted
to
speak
to
the
board.
For
the
ninth
season.
We
use
local
artists
for
the
sculptures
now.
The
pool
for
local
artists
is
not
super
huge.
However,
we
have
done
in
the
past
limited
calls
to
where
we
narrow
the
focus
to
a
specific
area.
C
The
first
previous
years
were
a
national
:
artists,
but
I
wanted
to
talk
to
the
board
about
maybe
limiting
it
to
Florida
or
us.
That
way,
we'll
be
able
to
support
our
state
artists
and
make
sure
that
they
are
part
of
this
season
and
program
going
on
words.
We
could
make
that
are
a
focus
for
future
years
as
well,
but
I
just
want
to
get
some
thoughts
on
the
board
on
on
that
idea.
C
C
C
C
E
Then
I.
E
Like
that,
because
it
still
gives
us
a
chance
to
pump
up
our
local
artists,
I
also
have
heard
a
lot
of
feedback.
People
didn't
get
the
information
that
there
are
more
than
we
know
about
it,
but
we
don't
want
to
keep
recycling
the
same
names
and
over
and
over.
We
want
to
continue
to
bring
in
different.
Would
we
have
a
theme.
C
C
C
C
F
E
E
G
E
C
C
E
C
In
the
bank,
it's
in
the
bank
available
for
us
to
support,
grant
requests
for
enhancing
existing
capital
improvement
projects
or
starting
a
new
special
available
for
use.
One
thing
is
that
for
our
funds
we
go
to
their
work,
City
Council
afterwards,
so
I
will
present
his
Douglass's
request
to
the
counseling.
We
did
presents
the
Clearwater
Arts
Alliance
request.
It
was
passed
on
consent
agenda
all
in
favor,
but
just
with
purchasing
guidelines.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
there's
an
oversight
of
it
and
with
our
responsibilities
to
City
Council
as
advisory.
C
E
E
C
C
C
C
In
application
and
guidelines
for
public
art
design,
discretionary
fund
grant
assistance
for
projects
led
by
neighborhood
and
community
organizations
and
arts
advocacy
agencies
authorized
me
to
go
ahead
and
codify
that,
for
you,
I've
done
that
this
is
governing
the
process
that
fYI
and
Arts
Alliance.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
there's
an
organized
way
that
these
projects
are
done.
These
are
the
areas
in
which
that
we
evaluate
the
program.
It
gives
us
tears
for
the
requests
and
then
it
gives
us
the
criteria.
C
C
C
Reviewing
verbal
up
to
either
the
theatre
arts
alliance
to
fund
their
proposals
for
phase
Phi
of
thinking
outside
the
box,
I
just
want
to
let
you
know
the
arts
alliances
and
touch
with
community
partners
and
they're
starting
their
projects
for
getting
the
signal
boxes
using
the
grant
funds
in
the
process.
They
have
four
of
six
neighborhoods
identified,
they're
opening.
You
know
to
two
more
neighborhoods
if
they
want
to
go
through
an
application
process.
B
C
Are
our
focus
areas,
however,
it
does
not
limit
any
neighborhood
from
requesting
and
coming
in
it's
just.
These
are
areas
that
are
identified
as
not
within
a
target
range
of
a
capital
improvement
project.
Many
other
areas
have
access
to
a
library,
recreation
center,
a
station
of
first
responders
station
or
some
other
way
of
communicating
some
other
way
of
commissioning
public
art
work
that.
G
C
Morning's
night
review
verbal
update
from
staff
on
Morningside
recreation
center
public
artwork
in
your
packet
is
a
installation
view
and
a
close-up
of
the
work
by
guy
camper.
It's
beautiful
and
fits
extremely
well
at
the
facility.
It
was
installed
over
Martin
Luther,
King
jr.
Day
weekend
on
Monday.
When
the
facility
was
closed,
we
did
not
have
to
limit
access
or
anything
to
the
public,
so
we
were
able
to
take
care
of
it
really
quickly
and
easily.
C
C
C
C
Report
please:
okay,
I
just
wanted
to
say
that
the
health
of
the
program
is
going
along.
Well,
we
are
commissioning
work.
Progress.
We've
got
a
partnership
with
the
magic
Clearwater.
They
are
setting
aside
spaces
for
us
for
public
art
work
within
the
Clearwater
walk
section,
which
is
to
the
north
of
the
bandshell.
It's
the
more
sort
of
serene
section
that
has
some
garments
native
native
plant
life
in
the
area:
fish
fish
it
most
likely
Birds,
just
thinking
of
a
poor
or
something
sit
here.
C
But
will
be
able
to
have
some
work
in
that
area
as
well
as
a
lot
of
aesthetic
design,
that's
happening
within
the
park
itself.
There's
a
water
feature
that
goes
into
the
entrance,
Plaza
that
some
tile
work
will
be
put
onto
the
side
of
there
are
going
to
be
interactive
community
walls
as
well,
whether
those
are
going
to
be
an
art
installation
or
kept
for
rotating
inner
walls.
That
is
still
to
be
seen.
The
development
continues
to
happen.
I've
been
very
close
working
closely
with
the
designers
and
the
team.
C
C
C
E
C
Of
that,
in
the
account
and
I'm
currently
working
to
identify
some
design
funds
as
well,
we
can
do
up
to
$200,000
per
project,
so
we
have
that
we've
maxed
it
at
close
to
70
million
dollar
project.
We
far
exceeded
that,
but
we're
looking
for
areas
that
can
be
used
can
areas
and
funds
that
can
be
used
to
support
public
artwork
from
the
project
budget
as
well.
F
I'll
say
an
arbitrary
number
and
for
a
as
an
important
of
community
project
that
this
is
going
to
be
that
if,
if
it's
recognized,
should
it
should
it
be
recognized
by
City
Council
that
additional
funds
are
needed
in
this
type
of
project,
because
this
is
a
this
is
the
heart
of
the
city
and
it's
an
arbitrary
$200,000.
It's
not
reflective
to
the
level
of
quality
that
this
project
is
going
to
be
and
for
the
50
years
that
it's
going
to
be,
and
so
I
think.
E
And
to
that
comment
it
might
be
useful
if,
at
the
next
meeting
we
had
a
sheet
of
and
again
understanding
that
there's
faces
and
it's
fluid
here
are
the
different
places
where
we
will
have
that
opportunity.
Here
are
some
of
the
kinds
of
things
that
we
might
want
to
put
there.
Then
we
can
give
some
feedback
on
what
some
budgets
might
be
and
then
there's
backup
to
that
to
say:
okay,
we'll,
if
we're.
E
C
F
F
E
F
B
C
So
if
the
public
is
to
imagine
Clearwater,
comm
it'll,
take
you
to
the
project
page
for
that
there
you'll
be
able
to
see
a
rendering
and
a
flyover
of
the
site
as
well
as
updates
with
the
project
and
some
renderings
of
what
it
looks
like
at
this
point
in
time.
At
the
30%
development
area,
you'll
be
able
to
look
in
the.
B
C
B
C
Yes,
pres
Lake
Park
has
some
artwork
that
will
be
a
component
of
it.
I've
been
working
with
Parks
and
Rec
to
identify
a
location
out
there.
They
had
wanted
to
do
some
pilings
that
were
located
near
the
playground
area.
They
were
almost
telephone
poles
that
are
put
into
the
structure
of
it,
but
looking
at
that,
that
has
changed
some
we're
looking
potentially
to
a
water
feature
that
would
be
in
the
or
a
water-based
piece
of
public
art,
not
necessarily
having
to
be
water,
but
perhaps
a
sculpture.
That's
you
know
located
in
the
arc.
C
In
the
lake
itself,
I
was
looking
at
some
high
priority
areas
near
Clearwater,
near
Gulf
to
Bay
Boulevard,
and
it
turns
out
that
the
setback
that
I'd
have
to
go
to
would
put
the
artwork
way
beyond
where
the
people
would
be
able
to
see
it.
As
far
as
view
visibility
and
safety
corridor,
they
would
put
it
on
the
back
side
of
the
berm
and
into
the
veterans
Plaza.
So
we
wouldn't
be
able
to
get
something
right
there
on
the
corner.
G
C
Were
talking
about
a
splash
pad
of
doing
the
ground
of
the
splash
pad
as
artwork?
We're
also
talking
about
the
potential
of
looking
into
a
playground
feature
as
artwork
as
a
playground
feature
that
one
we
had
to
step
back
from
as
the
insurance
that's
required
for
the
playground
features
is
better
carried
by
the
providers.
E
F
I
have
another
item.
Erupt
in
this
is
may
not
be
I,
know
you're
familiar
with
the
recall
us
19
Gulf
to
Bay
FDOT
projects,
the
overpass,
the
LED
lighting,
stroke
band.
That's
on
it!
It's
a
do
t.
It
was
a
do
T
project,
it
wasn't
a
city
project,
correct
yes,
but
there
was
input
from
the
city
regarding
the
LED
lighting.
F
F
D
F
C
F
B
C
As
the
the
library
construction
goes
on,
I'm
actually
having
a
meeting
tomorrow
with
engineering
to
discuss
how
we
will
remove
temporarily
the
piece
and
then
storing
transported
back
to
the
site
while
it's
being
removed
well,
while
it
is
removed,
we
will
do
that
grinding
that
we
needed
to
do
to
finish
the
swirling
on
the
base
of
the
tree.
It
was
something
that
Parks
and
Rec
staff
attempted
to
do
in
place,
but
it
needed
to
be
done
in
a
shop
or
a
you
know,
an
off-site
location
rather
than
right
there
in
the
public.
C
E
C
E
Okay,
so
if
there
are
no
no
more
board
members
to
be
heard,
I'm
doing
adjourn
the
meeting.
