Michael
burscher
sends
his
regrets.
He
had
a
production
emergency
this
afternoon
and
cannot
join
us,
but
I
did
have
a
little
introduction
of
him.
He
will
serve
as
our
local

community
representative
and
is
the
chief
production
officer
at
monin.
That's
located.
B
We
are
a
full
board
of
seven
now.
One
thing:
look
at
your
appointed
period
that
you're
filling
in
is
coming
up.
Would
you
like
to
continue
serving
on
the
board?
Yes,
please,
okay,
possible.
I
will
mark
you
down.
Thank
you
very
much
all
right
item
4.2
review
and
update
on
the
60th
anniversary
visit
to
clearwater.
B
So
it's
been
a
long
and
winding
road.
Since
we
were
originally
set
to
send
a
delegation
to
nagano
in
october
of
2019,
we
were
planning
a
scheduled
visit
and
then
after
needed
to
reschedule
because
of
the
typhoon
and
kovet
19
was
just
beginning
to
spread
throughout
the
world
at
that
point
in
time.
Since
then,
I've
been
in
contact
with
nagano
international
relations
in
regard
to
a
delegation
visiting
clearwater
in
february
of
2021.
B
As
of
right
now,
nagano
has
expressed
a
cautious
interest
in
traveling
here,
but
it
looks
like
they
are
remaining
realistic
in
what
foreign
travel
is
asking
of
us.
These
days,
though,
there's
no
travel
restrictions
to
come
into
the
united
states.
They
would
have
to
quarantine
for
two
weeks
when
returning
to
japan,
so
that
is
taking
quite
a
a
bit
of
their
interest.
Right
now,
they're
scheduling
a
evaluation
meeting
with
their
mayor
for
a
final
decision,
and
both
cities
agree
that
preparing
for
a
delegation
takes
time
and
significant
efforts.
B
So
we've
set
a
deadline
for
the
decision
by
november
the
13th-
I
imagine,
we'll
hear
a
little
bit
earlier
than
that,
but
that's
sort
of
our
date
at
which
anything
too
much
past.
That
is
asking
a
lot
to
get
everything
set
up
all
right.
I've
expressed
our
realistic
stance
that
we
understand
that
travels
become
more
challenging
these
days
and
that
covet
has
made
planning
for
future
events
a
lot
more
uncertain
based
on
the
email
exchange
I've
had
with
our
contemporaries
in
japan.
B
I
feel
it's
likely
that
the
delegation
will
choose
not
to
visit
in
february
simply
with
just
the
outlook
of
everything
and
the
difficulty
of
world
travel
at
this
point.
If
this
is
the
case,
we'll
have
a
choice
to
make
on
whether
we
consider
a
61st
anniversary
visit,
possibly
with
the
schedule
of
october
2021
and
february
2022,
or
to
postpone
to
a
other
significant
anniversary
date.
This
one
would
be
the
65th
anniversary
that
would
come
up
in
2025.,
since
the
members
of
this
board
will
be
invited
as
ambassadors
to
travel
with
the
delegation.
B
I
just
wanted
to
see
what
your
thoughts
are
just
at
this
current
point
in
time
and
just
know
that
we
can
change
our
minds
in
the
future.
But
what
would
your?
What
would
your
inclinations
be
towards
a
a
61st
visit
or
a
potential
65th
visit.
E
So
I
would,
I
would
be
inclined
to
say:
yes,
let's
try
to
do
a
61st.
I
I
think
that
those
relationships
are
really
important
back
and
forth
and
it
would
be
a
big
missing
piece
of
this
relationship,
so
I'd
be
disappointed
if
we
couldn't
do
something
in
2021
or
early
2022..
E
So
I
would.
I
would
not
want
to
wait
longer
than
that.
If
you
know
if
travel
is
safe
and
you
know
the
everybody
feels
comfortable
in
doing
it,
we're
getting
good
news
about
airplane
travel,
but
you
know
still
we
we've
got
to
go
to
you
know,
think
of
other
people
and
think
of
safety
of
not
just
ourselves
but
other
people
that
we're
traveling
with
so
and
visiting,
of
course
in
japan,
but
I'm
hoping
that
we
can
do
a
20.
I
mean
a
61st
visit.
F
So
I
can
chime
in.
I
agree.
I
think
65
is
five
years
out
is
a
little
much.
I
think
as
long
as
everyone's
okay
with
it,
I
think
you
know,
61st
or
60
seconds
is
definitely
doable.
A
A
C
And
I
would
tentatively
agree
that
we
should
try
for
it,
because
one
would
hope
that
a
year
from
now
things
would
be
stable
and
somewhat
resolved
so
definitive.
Yes,
okay,.
G
I
would
agree,
I
I
think
waiting
out
till
65
is
waiting
for
65..
I
I
think
it's
important
to
keep
the
communication
and
and
the
opportunity
to
have
face-to-face.
I
think
that's
important.
B
All
right:
well,
I
will
keep
you
posted
and
you
know
just
keep
you
updated
as
as
far
as
what
nagano
says,
as
well
as
far
as
their
desire
to
come
here
in
february.
D
B
Okay,
all
right
any
other
questions
or
discussion
on
that
item.
B
Okay,
we'll
move
on
to
4.3
review
and
update
on
the
status
of
the
2021
exchange
programs.
B
Not
only
has
the
delegation
been
impacted,
but
so
too
have
the
other
traditional
annual
exchanges,
the
high
school
exchange,
the
young
ambassadors,
middle
school
exchange
and
a
teacher
exchange
have
all
been
impacted
for
the
high
school
exchange.
The
students
selected
for
the
2020
visit
will
be
continued
to
the
2021
exchange
I'll
verify
with
each
of
the
families
that
the
student
is
still
interested
in
traveling
since
the
fall
and
winter
advised
to
be
a
difficult
season
for
covid.
I
can
check
with
the
families
in
january
as
well
ahead
of
our
next
scheduled
meeting.
A
D
A
H
Thank
you.
I
spoke
to
allison
the
teacher
who
was
going
to
take
the
students
and
she's
also
on
board.
If
the
program
goes
forward,
she
does
have
other
things
that
she
committed
to
several
years
ago
that
are
happening
next
summer.
So
she
wants
to
check
dates,
and
so
that's
something
that
you
know.
I
told
her.
We
were
probably
not
close
to
being
able
to
set
dates
quite
yet,
but
but
I'd
let
her
know
as
soon
as
we
were,
so
she
could
check
and
make
sure
that
she's
available.
B
H
Yeah,
you
know
we're
communicating
with
the
same
department,
so
in
nagano.
I
think
so.
H
Mr
kanazawa,
you
know,
doesn't
want
to
commit
to
a
yes
or
a
no
at
this
point,
because
we
don't
know
for
sure
I
reached
out
to
the
teachers
who
were
selected
to
go
last
year,
who
didn't
get
to
go
and
daryl
shuster
is
very
interested
in
going
and
last
year
his
wife
was
one
of
the
people
who
applied
and
was
initially
selected
but
ultimately
ended
up,
not
going
because
they
still
had
a
child
in
college
and
they
were
a
little
concerned
with
both
of
them
being
out
of
the
country.
D
H
She
has
she
deidra
has.
Let
me
know
that
she
would
be
interested
in
going
the
other
person
who
was
selected
to
go
last
year,
I've
emailed
her
twice
and
I
texted
her
once
and
she
has
not
responded.
So
I'm
thinking
that
she's
probably
out
so
you
know
if
she
gets
in
touch,
you
know
we
can
talk
about
it,
but
but
anyway
we
have
people
who
are
willing
and
ready
to
go
if,
if
it
goes
forward,
okay.
C
B
You
pam
any
other
discussion
on
that
item:
okay,
4.4
review
and
update
on
the
progress
of
the
sister
city
discussions
with
borges
france.
B
Our
previous
conversations
with
the
vice
mayor
of
porsche
were
met
with
kind
of
a
lukewarm
response
in
establishing
a
sister
city's
relationship.
Despite
that
initial
contact
that
they
had
sent
to
us,
which
was
a
little
puzzling
but
with
the
change
in
administration,
I've
been
in
touch
with
the
new
international
relations
administrator
and
she
is
interested
in
rekindling
that
discussion
and
relationship.
B
So
that
is
great.
I
wanted
to
ask
the
board
and
just
to
certify
since
it
has
been
some
time
that's
passed
since
the
original
progress
of
it
is
the
board
still
interested
in
establishing
that
relationship.
E
B
You
a
particular
interest
is
that
our
new
business
community
representative
is
bonan
and
is
a
company
that
was
established
in
bourge
in
1912.,
so
I
previously
been
assisted
in
my
conversations
with
the
city
by
mr
jean
charles
faust,
he's
the
honorary
consul
of
france
in
the
tampa
bay
area
and
he's
been
invaluable
in
providing
some
translation
and
discussion
to
fill
in
the
gaps
in
our
conversation
with
them.
B
B
So
that's
that's
room
for
some
creation
and
and
new
interaction
with
a
future
sister.
B
B
So
we
would
just
need
to
draft
that
up
basically
specifying
what
the
exchanges
would
be,
how
often
and
the
participation
of
that
process,
which
would
not
be
too
difficult.
Great.
E
So
you're
thinking
christopher
that
mr
brewster
may
be
able
to
help
facilitate
some
things
here
to
move
them
along
with
the
city.
B
I
think
so,
and
they
are
in
communication
with
france
quite
often
satellite
arm
of
the
organization
here
in
clearwater.
Also
they
have
a
an
employee,
that's
gone
back
and
forth
between
borge
and
clearwater
as
well.
So
they
might
be
a
connection
of
interest
that
will
be
able
to
help
us
and
assist
us
through
as
well.
B
Too,
all
right,
so
item
4.5
review,
an
update
on
the
young
ambassadors
travel
scholarship.
This
is
something
that
I'd
like
to
put
some
attention
back
on.
To
is
the
hardship
scholarship
for
the
young
ambassadors
program.
B
The
city
council
set
aside
three
thousand
seven
hundred
dollars
for
two
one
thousand
eight
hundred
fifty
dollar
scholarships
that
would
assist
two
middle
school
students
and
traveling
as
part
of
the
young
ambassadors
program.
Wow.
H
B
B
The
common
definitions
that
I've
encountered
have
been
the
following
as
far
as
hardship
that
the
student
is
in
need
of
financial
assistance
such
as
a
low-income
family,
a
recent
job
loss
or
illness,
or
injury
to
the
family
eligibility
for
snap,
the
federal
supplemental
nutritional
assistance
program,
eligibility
for
10,
which
is
the
temporary
assistance
for
needy
families
through
the
state
of
florida
department
of
children
and
families.
B
If
the
student
is
in
foster
care
and
if
the
student
is
considered
homeless,
which
is
a
variety
of
different
definitions,
but
the
one
for
pinellas
county
schools
is
that
the
student
is
sharing
housing
with
other
persons
due
to
loss
of
housing,
economic
hardship
or
similar
reason.
They're
living
in
motels,
hotels,
trailer
parks
or
campgrounds.
B
Due
to
the
lack
of
alternative,
adequate
accommodations,
they're
living
in
emergency,
transitional
shelters
are
abandoned
in
hospitals
or
awaiting
foster
care
placement,
so
it
is
a
rather
broad
interpretation
of
it
encompassing
a
lot
of
different
potentials
that
a
student
could
be
in.
B
All
right
can
everyone
see
a
blue
screen
young
ambassador
chip?
Yes,
okay,
yes,
so
these
are
some
of
the
review
things
that
we
would
do
as
a
panel.
We
look
to
certify
that
they
meet
one
of
these
requirements
and,
like
I
had
read
off
low
income
free
or
reduced
lunch
at
school
eligibility
for
snap
or
camp
recent
job
loss,
injury
or
illness
they're
in
foster
care
or
considered
homeless.
B
As
far
as
requirements
for
the
student,
they
would
have
to
live
within
city
limits
and
enrolled
in
middle
school.
They
would
need
a
letter
from
a
teacher,
counselor,
coach
or
mentor
kind
of
putting
them
forward
and
nominating
them
for
a
scholarship
that
they
maintain
a
2.5
gpa
and,
though
not
required,
but
definitely
a
plus,
that
they
participate
in
groups
and
clubs
particularly
focused
on
international
topics
such
as
culture,
economics,
languages
and
world
studies.
B
So
I
just
wanted
to
have.
Oh
and
also
the
student
would
be
required
to
give
a
post-trip
report
to
the
city
council
to
follow
up
with
that.
So
I
just
wanted
to
see
how
the
board
felt
about
advancing
that
and
if
they
are
okay,
with
moving
that
on
to
the
level
that
I'd
be
able
to
start
presenting
that
towards
the
city
council.
H
Well,
so
the
way
that
somebody
somebody
would
recommend
them.
Yes,
I'm
just
a
little
concerned
like
a
teacher
is
not
going
to
know
if
they
qualify.
D
H
I
mean
the
student
would
probably
have
to
tell
the
teacher
that
their
family,
this
teacher,
would
know
if
they
were
on
free
or
reduced
lunch
at
school,
but
they
wouldn't
know
if
outside
of
school,
they
qualify
for
snap
or
tamp.
That's
a
pretty
drastic
level
of
poverty.
Okay,
so
I
I'm
just
wondering
about
the
initial:
if,
if
a
student
couldn't
just
apply
for
this,
rather
than
having
to
go
through
a
teacher,
coach
or
mentor.
B
Would
it
be
a
letter
of
recommendation,
maybe
of
just
they're
a
talk
to
the
students,
academic
or
social
performance
in
class.
H
H
H
B
F
Oh
sorry,
I
just
wanted
to
to
kind
of
say
from
personal
experience.
I
I
think
the
free
or
reduced
lunch
is
kind
of
a
very,
very
broad
term,
or
way
to
describe
impoverished
students
and
power
students,
and
I
I
I
know
from
personal
anecdotes.
I
guess
some
people
that
are
on
reduced
lunge
that
you
know
could
afford
this
trip
perfectly
fine,
and
then
I
know
people
that
aren't
on
it
and
that
could
not
afford
the
trip.
F
A
So
christopher
we
have
on
our
application,
because
you
know
our
scholarship
program
is
not,
as
we
don't
have,
that
the
funds
to
pay
for
a
whole
student's
trip.
So
we
usually
have
about
a
thousand
dollars
and
we
try
to
spread
it
amongst
the
students
that
we
feel
like
might
need
it
or
you
know,
and
ours
isn't
needs
based
either,
but
in
our
application
we
include
that
there
could
be
a
scholarship,
but
we
could
also,
if
that
I
don't
know,
if
that's
permitted,
that
we
could
include
a
link
to
your
scholarship.
A
You
know
because
the
kids
are
going
to
see
the
application
and
then
maybe
on
the
face
on
your
web
page,
how
you
have
stuff
about
the
young
ambassadors,
then
you
might
have
a
link
to
that
scholarship
and
and
the
requirements
as
well,
and
then
I
don't
know
how
you
promote.
You
know
we
need
to.
A
We
have
always
had
a
trouble
with
had
trouble
with
how
to
promote
our
our
trip
within
the
schools,
and
you
know,
maybe
you
could
help
us
promote
and
also
include
about
your
scholarship
when
you're
promoting,
but
I
can
see
that
maybe
we
could
work
together
and
if
I
put
a
link
on
our
website
and
our
application,
because
sometimes
we
don't
know
until
the
kids
get
picked
that
they're
in
need-
and
I
know
we
had
a
perfect
student
this
year
and
we
actually
did
get
someone
one
of
our
board.
A
Members
got
one
of
their
church
members
to
pay
for
half
of
her
trip.
D
A
So
and
we've
had
that
before,
where
we
had
a
foster
child
and
the
guardian
that
later
went
together
and
came
up
with
money,
and
then
he
was
able
again
to
get
someone
to
help
finance
the
other
part
of
the
trip
that
was
before
we
had
a
scholarship
fund.
So
it's
not.
We
don't
know
to
the
you
know
until
they've
already
been
selected,
and
I
think
sometimes
it
keeps
some
kids
from
applying
because
they
know.
H
H
H
C
Weren't
fully
retired
now
so
not
correct
latest
practices
in
the
schools,
one
thought
that
was
occurring
and,
of
course,
right
now
in
terms
of
just
getting
the
word
out
once
upon
a
time
before
covet,
there
were
the
the
district
training
session,
the
start
of
the
year,
mid-year
and
so
on,
and
certainly
mentioning
a
scholarship
of
this
type
would
be
easy
in
the
counseling
district
and
services.
I'm
certain
pass
and
you
know
yeah.
I
agree
with
the
it
being
a
little
bit
of
an
extreme
notion
going
with
the
homelessness.
C
C
D
B
Right
and
I
want
to
make
sure
we
balance
the
equitability
for
the
students
in
need
with
removing
a
stigma
too,
of
of
right
they're
falling
into
it.
This
impoverished.
A
A
C
In
many
cases,
yes,
pam
being
fully
retired,
I'm
curious
what
percent
of
students
are
showing
up
in
for
in-person
classes.
These
days,
that's.
H
Yeah
but
I
mean
they're
in
everybody's
in
class,
every.
D
H
F
I
just
want
to
mention
I
I
don't
know
how,
because
I
every
year
I
hear
about
the
hispanic
heritage,
essay
scholarship
and
then
there's
one
another
one
this
year,
where
you
could
write
another
essay
about
like
voting
and
get
stuff
like
that.
So
and
usually
my
teachers
tell
me
that
right
when
it
comes
time,
so
I
don't
know
how
that
kind
of
gets
out.
But
that's
I
I
know
a
lot
of
my
friends
that
do
those
kind
of
things
because
they
hear
about
it
from
our
teachers,
so
that
might.
H
Be
a
good
way
to
do
it.
We
I
mean
candy
already
sends
me
the
advertising
material
and
I
send
it
out
to
all
the
world
language
teachers
in
the
district
I
mean
we
already
do
that
and
we
have
had
james
and
candy
both
come
to
our
district-wide
training
like
mike
suggested.
That's
a
great
suggestion.
We've
also
had
them
at
our
events.
H
Actually
we
planned
it.
I
don't
know
if
you
guys
ever
did
come
to
international
day
or
not,
but
we
talked
about.
I
think
I
think
no,
I
think
james
canceled
this
last
minute.
He
was
going
to
come
and
do
that
and
he
canceled
at
the
last
minute,
but
those
this
this
is
going
to
need
to
target
specifically
kids
in
clearwater,
though
so,
even
though
I
I
can
send
it
out,
and
the
thing
that's
difficult
is
that
those
kids
don't
necessarily
go
to
school
in
clearwater.
D
H
You
know
it's.
H
A
Are
limited
to
clearwater
residents
as
well,
and
then
that
gets
out
to
the
students,
yeah
yeah,
so
it's
just
a
different
level.
H
H
A
A
H
D
F
H
I
think
is
a
is
a
great
idea
if,
if
somebody
chris,
if
you
could
go
on
bay,
news
9
and
talk
about
this
new
scholarship
for
people,
you
know
base
news.
Nine
is
on
at
banks
in
it
at
you
know,
it's
all
over
the
place
right
and
I
think
that's
a
great
way
to
get
the
news
out.
We
also
have
have
we
ever
used
candy
trying
to
think
what
it's
called
peach
jar.
H
I'm
I'm
thinking
we
have
too
peach.
Jar
is
a
service
that
the
district
has
that
parents
all
parents
in
the
district
are
invited
to
sign
up
with
their
email
address,
and
then
they
carefully
vet
anything
that
and
like
outside
entities.
I
could
post
it
for
free
because
I'm
a
district
employee
and
it's
a
program,
that's
endorsed
by
the
district,
but
outside
companies
and
entities
that
want
to
advertise
to
the
masses,
can
post
things
and
I'm
wondering
if
that
might
not
be
a
good
way
to
go
too.
H
You
know
something
like
that
and
then
also
use
peach
jar,
because
that
goes
directly
into
the
email
addresses
again.
If
somebody's
got
an
email
address,
that
means
they've
got
a
device
of
some
sort
and
when
we're
talking
about
snap
and
tamp
you're
talking
about
people
that
don't
have
two
pairs
of
pants,
you
know.
So
I
I
think
I
don't
know.
H
A
Okay,
so
it
doesn't,
they
don't
have
to,
but
at
least
the
free
and
reduced
lunch
would
be
a
way
to
get
them
to
qualify
for
the
scholarship
it'd
be
a
starting
point.
Of
course.
This
year
is
going
to
be
kind
of
crazy,
since
we
have
our
same
students,
but
but
you
know,
some
of
our
students
may
need
that
now,
because
who
knows?
What's
happened
yeah
since
they
applied
last
year
and
their
families
may
be
out
of
work,
and
you
know
yeah,
I
don't
right.
D
H
G
I
think
I
think
we'll
you
and
I
can
talk
about
it,
but
I'm
I
was
under
the
impression.
As
my
recollection
is
you
know,
we
set
up
these
parameters,
but
I
don't.
I
don't
think
they
were
hard
hard
core
to
the
point
that
the
student
has
to
be
at
that
level.
To
get
this
scholarship,
I
think
those
those
students
if
there
are
students
in
that
category
that
want
to
apply
and
this
they
would
get.
G
Maybe
you
know
some
extra
weight
based
on
that,
but
I,
my
understanding
is
the
the
money
that
we
have
budgeted
is
available
to
be
used
and,
and
maybe
we
need
to
go
back,
it
needs
to
go
back
to
the
council.
Maybe
we
need
to
go
out
and
give
give
the
the
program
give
give
sister
cities
the
sister
cities
program
the
opportunity
to
disperse
the
scholarship
money
as
it
sees
fit.
Basically,
okay,
yep.
I
think
that's
something
we
probably
want
to
do.
G
I
mean
we
budgeted
the
money,
it's
sitting
there
to
be
used,
but
I
don't
know
my
recollection.
I
I
mean
it
doesn't
make
a
whole
lot
of
sense.
To
say
to
me,
you
know
someone
who's
who's
in
the
snap
and
and
tamp
program
that
they're
probably
not
even
going
to
apply
just
because,
let's
face
it,
the
the
the
cost
of
a
trip
to
japan.
G
B
B
I
can
look
that
up
for
you.
I've
got
an
email.
D
B
There
was
as
part
of
agenda
tracking
it
was
created,
possibly
in
november
of
2018.
I
think,
but
I'll
I'll
look
it
up
for
you
was
it
that.
A
B
Nothing,
it
had
been
added
to
our
agenda
tracking
system
and
was
there
for
quite
some
time.
I
got
an
email
from
parks
and
recreation,
so
it
would
have
predated
me
coming
back
to
the
city,
it
might
have
been
in
the
interim
year
and
a
half
that
I
was
gone.
B
H
H
B
Yeah
all
right,
I
can
set
up
something
with
patty
to
maybe
talk
to
you
a
little
bit
and
further
refine
this
and
try
and.
B
Yeah,
give
it
give
it
some
more
flexibility
as
far
and
permissiveness
is,
you
know
not
making
it
yeah.
E
G
H
G
Wasn't
used
was
probably
already
put
into
reserves
so
to
pull
it
out
of
reserves
would
take
council
action,
I'm
not
sure
we
can
go
there,
but
we'll
see.
Okay,.
E
Well,
I
understand,
but
worth
an
ask
anyway,.
D
B
All
right,
so
we
would
move
then
to
item
5.1
in
old
business
item.
5.1
is
discuss
potential
program,
expansion
for
the
nagano
sister
city
program.
B
Some
ideas
now
that
we're
dealing
with
covet
19
and
personal
assembly
is
looking
quite
different.
These
days,
as
evidenced
by
our
zoom
conference,
an
idea
of
that
we've
been
floating
with
nagano
is
a
virtual
exchange
in
which
current
exchange
students
could
participate
in
a
zoom
or
a
webex
conference
together,
and
they
would
be
able
to
interact
with
a
group
of
nagano
students.
B
The
city
could
facilitate
and
host
that
call
to
provide
access
to
it
and
reasonable
find
a
reasonable
time
for
both
cities
to
participate,
since
we
are
either
12
hours
or
13
hours
different
from
nagano
depending
upon
the
time
of
year,
maybe
even
weekends.
The
students
can
ask
one
another
questions
in
sort
of
an
icebreaker
style
game
formats,
get
to
know
one
another
ahead
of
a
perspective,
exchange
visit
and
just
sort
of
bridge
the
gap
in
our
communications
with
students.
In
a
time
that
you
know,
we
wouldn't
traditionally
have
our
exchange
programs.
B
So
that's
that's
one
idea.
There
we've
also
got
a
virtual
artist
exchange.
Cultural
affairs
would
host
a
digital
gallery
of
artists
from
the
nagano
area
and
participate
by
sending
art
from
our
own
area
and
reciprocal
exchange,
and
then
another
idea
I
had
was
a
japanese
learning.
E-Center
nagano
could
recommend
videos
and
other
resources
that
we
could
provide
to
our
citizens
as
an
education
on
japanese
life.
B
They
could
be
promotional
videos,
tourism,
cooking
demonstrations
or
video
visits
to
popular
attractions
and
the
main
intent
behind
that
would
be
provide
a
platform
for
people
to
be
able
to
get
to
know
our
sister
city
a
little
bit
better
and,
as
you
know,
if
we
proceed
further
with
borge,
we
could
do
the
same
thing
for
them
and
just
have
a
resource
that
people
could
learn
from.
In
a
time
where,
there's
more
and
more
web-based
learning
or
computer-based
knowledge.
A
B
A
I
was
a
little
confused
christopher
because
the
board
of
education
in
nagano
also
contacted
yaeko
volk,
who
is
on
our
board
and
asked
her
about
the
virtual
exchanges,
so
her
and
stephanie
then
did
an
email
and
sent
it
to
the
board
of
education,
and
I
guess
they
were
going
to
send
it
on
to
someone
else.
Okay,
we
haven't
heard
anything.
So
I
was
kind
of
surprised
when
yaeko
told
me
at
our
last
meeting
that
she
had
heard
from
the
board.
B
I've
been
talking
with
international
relations
in
nagano
city,
so
they're
separate
from
the
educational
board.
It
may
have
been
mentioned
over
to
them
as
a
possibility
for
them
to
consider,
but
we
hadn't
really
gone
too
far.
As
far
as
the
implementation
of
it.
I
wanted
to
make
sure
to
have
a
chance
to
bring
it
before
the
board
before
we
really
formalized
anything.
A
A
H
B
H
I
think
I
think
you
could
do
it
either
way
to
me.
It
just
makes
sense
to
incorporate
it
into
the
orientations
because
candy,
you
guys
do
orientations
too
right
right
yeah.
So
I
think
I
think
it
would
be
easy
enough
to
because
part
of
the
orientation
is
them
teaching
finding
finding
things
about
their
own
lives
that
they're
going
to
share
when
they're
in
japan.
So
I
think
you
know,
taking
those
things
and
putting
them
together
and
providing
them
on
a
website
would
be
a
great
idea.
H
A
F
Yeah,
so
I
remember
during
the
orientations
we
were
asked
to
kind
of
create
like
a
this,
is
my
life?
My
name
is
you
know
this
is
this
is
what
I
do
for
fun,
blah
blah
blah
and
then
you,
you
show
it
to
the
family
and
they
and
it's
kind
of
like
a
it's,
a
really
good
icebreaker,
because
you
know
explaining
all
these
things-
and
you
know
through,
like
google,
translate
kind
of
takes
a
you
know
takes
a
while
so
having
like
a
presentation
where
they
can
all
ask
questions
and
kind
of
learn
a
lot.
H
High
school
kids
do
two
different
products:
they
they
do.
Each
one
of
them
is
assigned
like
an
aspect
of
living
in
clearwater,
school
life,
home
life.
You
know
the
city,
the
beach
blah
blah,
and
so
they
put
that
together
and
we
use
that
for
formal
presentations,
but
each
one
of
them
also
puts
together
a
small
photo
album
like
a
physical
photo
album
of
printed
pictures
and
that
shows
their
own
lives.
H
Just
like
what
lucas
was
saying
and
it's
the
icebreaker
they
bring
it
out
on
the
first
night
with
the
family
and
then
it's
a
lot
easier,
if
you
know,
there's
no
japanese
and
very
little
english
involved
for
them
to
say
this
is
my
mother.
This
is
my
father.
This
is
my
brother
and
you
know
that
things
that
that
everybody
can
understand
and
then
they
share,
and
then
we
use
those
in
the
clearwater
room
during
during
the
school
festival.
H
And
you
know
the
mayor
sat
down
at
the
table
and
went
through
all
four
of
those
books
with
the
kids
and
and
they
loved
it
and
they
laughed
and
they
had
such
a
good
time.
You
know
saying:
oh
and
he
looks
like
my
brother
and
you
know,
and
it
was
really
it
was
awesome,
so
I
mean
they
already
do
that
kind
of
thing
in
the
orientation.
So
I
think
capturing
some
of
that
and
and
putting
it
together
on
a
website
is
a
fantastic
way
to
make
it
really
personal.
H
Not
just
you
know,
promotional
material
from
from
clearwater,
which
is
also
good,
but
but
you
know
what
life
is
like.
I,
I
think
that's
great.
A
E
Christopher
this
is
sally.
I
I
really
love
the
idea
of
thinking
this
is
sort
of
thinking
outside
the
box
and
it's
what
we're
able
to
do
now
with
with
zoom
and
other
media
to
use.
This
is
really
speaking
from
a
very
selfish
point
of
view,
but
I'm
the
co-chair
of
my
rotary
clubs
program
and
we
realized
that
suddenly,
we've
got
kind
of
a
wonderful
opening
for
people.
E
We
had
a
program
from
ireland
a
few
weeks
ago
and
I'm
thinking
of
you
know
that
we
could
kind
of
do
a
speaker's
bureau
exchange,
particularly
for
what
is
there
three
clearwater
rotary
clubs,
I'm
in
the
rotary
club
of
john
eden,
but
I
think
it
would
be
of
great
interest
to
have,
especially
in
the
wintertime.
You
know
when
you
have
the
snow
monkey.
E
There
are
just
so
many
opportunities
for
pictorial
stories
about
nagano,
which
I
think
many
many
people
would
not
know
about
and
be
surprised
and
and
the
flip
side
is
that
there's
rotary
clubs
in
nagano
I've
been
to
them
too.
Who
are
looking
for
speakers
who
might
like
to
know
more
about
the
sister
city
program,
not
only
its
history
but
lifestyles
and
clear
water,
and
so
on?
So
just
an
idea
to
throw
out
entirely
different
from
what
you
have.
E
But
I
think
I
I
do
believe
that
we
could
have
a
lot
of
fun
with
it.
E
And
that
that
might
include
the
the
artist
exchange,
as
well
as
some
economic,
complementary
businesses,
technology
in
japan,
which,
by
the
way
when
I
lived
there,
I
was
stunned
that
they
were
not
more
sophisticated
with
technology.
But
you
know
that
that
probably
changed
a
lot
and
then
I
think
life
in
nagano
what
people's
homes
are
like
and
what
their
outdoors
are
like
and
what
you
know,
their
gardens
all
kinds
of
things
that
could
be
real,
storytellers
and,
of
course,
there's
many
wonderful
sites
in
the
greater
nagano
area.
B
Anything
further
that
we'd
like
to
discuss
on
this
topic.
C
B
Please,
if
you
have
any
ideas,
send
them
to
me.
I
will
discover
you
know
which
inroads
we
could
do
potentially
partnering
with
our
public
communications
division
to
make
some
clearwater
stories
and
personal.
You
know,
programs
for
us.
I
will
talk
with
the
nagano
as
well
about
you
know
what
they
would
like
to
see.
As
part
of
you
know
our
reporting
of
our
culture
to
them
and
see
where
we
can
go
from
there.
B
I'll
follow
up
with
you
in
our
next
meeting
as
far
as
what
I've
discovered
and
what
we
can
create.
E
You
might
also
think
about
talking
to
the
tourist
development
council
because
they
may
be
very
interested
in
helping
to
film
some
high
points
of
clearwater.
I
mean,
of
course,
it's
it's
a
major
destination
and
I
think
a
lot
of
people
would
be
interested
in
you
know.
They've
got
probably
got
some
b-roll.
H
B
All
right
last
item
on
our
agenda
is
review
and
update
on
display
of
nagano
items
at
clearwater
historical
society
at
south
ward.
I
just
wanted
to
let
you
know:
we've
taken
a
lot
of
the
trade,
smaller
good
items
from
the
library,
since
it's
been
closed
now
over
to
the
historical
society
for
display,
we've
got
the
large
items,
still
the
kimonos
and
the
armor
here
at
the
city's
collection,
until
we
can
find
the
best
way
of
insuring
them
and
housing
them
in
a
different
facility.
B
But
for
the
meantime,
a
lot
of
the
items
that
can
be
displayed
are
over
there
and
ready
to
get
set
up
for
people
to
interact
with
them
in
a
different
location.
E
Are
those
considered
on
loan
they're.
B
All
right,
well,
that
is
my
section
candy
we've
got
your
director's
report.
A
Not
a
lot
going
on
in
sister
cities
right
now
last
we
talked
we
were
interviewing
the
students
we
had,
I
think,
like
31
students,
and
we
ended
up
nagano,
where
it
was
going
to
allow
us
to
bring
12
students
because
they
bring
12
students
and
we've
always
just
taken
10,
but
they
said
no.
We
could
bring
12
as
well,
so
we
were
able
to.
A
A
Things
started
getting
crazy
and
basically,
when
japan
closed
its
borders,
you
know
we
had
to
cancel
the
trip
but,
as
I
said
before,
all
the
students
are
willing
to
go
again
next
year
at
least
they
were
back
in
april,
we're
staying
in
touch
with
them.
We
no
events
right
now
we
were
going
to
try
to
do
a
scholarship,
fundraising
event
at
hamburger.
Mary's
like
we
usually
do,
but
we
just
had
a
meeting
last
week
and
we
just
still
don't
feel
like
it's
safe
to
bring
our
members
out.
A
You
know,
or
so
right
now
we're
just
trying
to
stay
in
touch
with
each
other
and
we
do
have
our
monthly
meetings
and
but
back
to
the
historical
society
stephanie
chill
who
is
on
our
board,
also
works
for
the
museum
of
fine
arts
in
st
petersburg
and
we're
going
to
work
on
a
display
to
house
some
of
those
items
that
you're
taking
over
and
some
that
we
have
had
donated
to
our
members.
You
know
we
have
a
bunch
of
ideas.
A
We've
also
have
talked
about
working
with
the
clearwater
garden
club
and
doing
a
japanese
garden
outside
at
close
to
where
I
think
the
restrooms
are
is
where
they
said
that
they
would
think
that
would
be
a
good
location
for
that
grant.
Rolison's
daughters
have
a
couple
items
that
they're
willing
to
donate
to
put
in
the
japanese
garden
area,
so
we
really
haven't
touched
base
with
the
garden
club.
B
All
right,
I'm
glad
you
like
them.
Are
there
any
board
members
to
be
heard
on
any
other
topics.
E
Christopher
I'd
like
to
circle
back
to
a
4.2
where
you
talked
about
the
anniversary
visit
you
you
mentioned
two
dates:
october,
2021
and
february
2022
were
those
considered
incoming
outgoing
or
one
of
each
or
what
I'm
not
quite
clear.
B
Outgoing
to
japan
would
probably
be
october
and
incoming
would
be
february
like
we
had
originally
right
set
up
for
this
time.
That's
just
an
idea
you
know
of
of
the.
We
could
certainly
change
it
depending
on
our
availability
and
theirs
as
well
right,
but
just
projecting
out
some
possibilities.
E
Thank
you,
my
sister
and
I
are
both
hanging.
You
know
hanging
fire
with
the
airlines
who
are
been
very
good
about
postponing
us,
but
we
just
like
to
keep
them
informed
so
that
they
know
what
what's
going
on.
So
that's
good
to
know.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
C
B
Right,
well,
I
try
and
keep
us
to
an
hour
and
we're
kind
of
right
at
the
edge.
So
if
there
is
no
further
discussion,
I'll
turn
it
over
to
mr
ballard
for
our
officiating.
