town
recently
to
help
celebrate
the
Greater
Columbus
Chamber
of
Commerce
one
hundred
and
sixtieth
anniversary.
These

being
taken
over
by
a
foreign
government,
they're
called
the
purple
people
and
they're
employed
by
the
Columbus
Business
Improvement
District,
commonly
known
as
bid.
Their
purpose
is
to
provide
the
47
black
area
of
Columbus
central
business
district
with
some
additional
cleaning
security
and
marketing
for
business
owners.
