A
Good
afternoon,
everyone,
if
you
want
to
go
ahead
and
take
a
seat,
we'll
go
ahead
and
get
started,
we're
here
today,
just
to
talk
about
some
options
that
we've
been
discussing
with
City
Council.
As
far
as
where
do
we
go
from
here
with
the
Government
Center,
so
we
appreciate
your
attendance
today
and
at
this
time,
I'll
allow
our
mayor
skip
Henderson
to
give
some
opening
comments.
B
B
I
saw
councilor
house,
John
house,
he's
I,
think
he's
stepped
out
for
just
a
second
and
councilor
crabs,
Charmaine
Crabbe,
so
your
counselors
are
here
they're
wanting
to
hear
your
ideas,
and
this
will
be
played
over
again
and
we
will
have
an
opportunity
for
the
rest
of
Council
to
see
it
as
well.
So
thank
you
for
being
a
part
of
the
process.
A
And
I
am
Pam
Hodges
city
manager.
Also,
here
is
Lisa
Goodwin,
deputy
city
manager,
our
engineering
director,
Donna
Neumann,
and
our
planning
director,
Rick,
Jones,
and
so
we're
here
today
to
just
give
you
information
and
also
get
your
feedback
and
part
of
that
feedback
is
going
to
be
online.
So
if
you
have
a
smartphone
director,
Jones
is
going
to
walk
you
through
how
to
get
registered.
A
So
as
we're
asking
questions,
we'll
receive
your
comments
right
away,
so
we
want
to,
if
you
don't,
have
a
smartphone
we'll
be
able
to
get
your
comments
on
a
paper
copy
and
that's
perfectly
fine.
We
can
register
all
the
comments
that
way,
but
there
will
be
a
just,
an
interactive
process
to
ask
few
questions
and
get
your
feedback.
So
director
Jones
will
get
us
hooked
up
and
we'll
be
ready
to
go.
C
Good
excuse
me
catch
noon,
we're
going
to
try
something
a
little
bit
different
here
for
you
today
to
help
you
have
some
interaction
and
some
slightly
some
input
into
the
process
itself
directly.
If
you
have
a
you,
have
a
cell
phone
or
better.
Yet,
if
you
have
a
cell
phone,
can
you
could
you
hold
it
up?
For
me,
I,
don't
even
know
we
need
to
get
a
count
for
one
thing:
how
many,
how
many
it's
got
a
cell
phone
key?
You
can't
you're
your
finance
person.
C
Can
you
count
it's
important
because
we're
going
we're
gonna
see
how
many
folks
are
actually
voting.
We're
gonna
show
you
that
just
a
second
you
we
get
you
should
when
you
came
in.
You
should
have
gotten
really
cute
peeps
of
paper
here.
One's
got
all
the
options
on
that
we're
gonna
Pam.
It's
gonna
go
through
and
discuss
with
you
here
in
just
a
few
moments.
This
is
kind
of
a
summary,
though,
that
you
have
the
reference
for
later
on,
because
it's
can
be
important
cuz.
You
can
actually
get
the
vote
on
one
of
these
options.
C
If
we
go
along
on
the
back
side,
that
is
actually
voting
instructions.
If
you
will
take
your
smart
phone,
your
cell
phone
and
go
to
your
web,
your
web
browser
where,
as
Safari
or
Firefox
or
whatever
the
case
may
be,
and
you'll
type
in
in
there
Emmy
and
ti.com,
which
is
minty,
calm,
it'll.
Take
you
to
a
page
and
the
last
four.
Where
is
the
six
six
digits
up
here
and
I
can't
see
my
screen?
Six
digits
are
on
the
screen
here
this
seventy
seven
90
135.
C
You
want
to
key
that
in
and
then
hit
enter
and
or
submit
whatever
the
case
may
be.
If
you
don't
feel
comfortable
doing
that,
we
also
provide
you
a
QR
code
where
you
can
scan
that
and
it'll.
Take
you
directly
to
the
site
as
well.
I'll,
let
you
let
you
do
the
same
thing
once
you
get
into
the
site,
it's
going
to
ask
for
a
name
I.
Would
you
may
put
your
name
in
there
or
you
may
use
an
alias
just
make
any
difference,
but
I'll
also
tell
you
if
you
don't
put
something
in
there.
C
It's
going
to
put
a
name
in
there
for
you,
like
I,
did
play
with
it
this
afternoon.
It
called
me
Frank
all
afternoon,
and
that
was
not
fun,
but
it's
Frank
it
lost.
This
I
saw
so
go
get
when
you
put
your
name
in
there
or
a
name
of
some
sort.
It's
gonna
give
you
a
little
emoji.
Whatever
that
memo
she
may
be,
you
may
be
the
one
I
got
the
other
with
a
heart,
a
little
heart
eyes
which
drove
me
crazy,
but
that's
what
I
got
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah?
C
No,
okay,
may
not
it
may
not!
Then
I
don't
know
they
should
okay,
okay
with
not
one
do
anything!
Yet
it's
gonna
get
you
sit
to
the
to
the
PowerPoint
presentation,
but
once
you
get
to
the
PowerPoint
presentation,
we're
going
to
walk
you
through
the
slides
here
and
show
you
what
show
you
what
what
you
got?
Okay,
everybody!
Everybody
understand
what
we're
trying
to
trying
to
achieve
here
now,
with
this.
C
Have
what's
on
the
screen
on
your
phone
once
you
get
signed
in
okay,
all
right!
So
let's
go
to
the
first
one
here,
all
right
so
see
all
the
little
mo
cheats
on
the
screen
above
me
and
everything
else
we're
showing
14
now
that
have
registered
to
vote.
Okay,
if
you
have
not
rich
to
she's
really
your
last
call,
but
we
want
you
to
give
you
a
chance
to
vote
and
you
should
see
hopefully
the
little
emoji
there's
no
one
came
out.
You
should
see
your
little
emoji.
That
represents
you
on
the
voting
itself.
C
Well,
let's
just
show
you
real
quick
you
what
we're
talking
about.
It
says
what
it's
gonna
say:
waiting
for
players,
don't
let
that
throw
you
off
we're
really
just
waiting!
We're
gonna!
Just
come
someone
else!
Couple
more
here!
We're
gonna
show
you
all
right.
It's
going
to
tell
you
to
get
ready.
It's
gonna
tell
you
ready
to
look
at
your
phone,
and
the
question
here
is
now
I
want
you
to
choose
your
favorite
of
the
foods
listed
below.
C
This
is
just
a
test
question,
so
you
get
comfortable
with
the
app
itself
and
what
you
want
to
do
is
give
is
tie
into
one
of
those
vote
for
one
of
those
that
you
think
it's
your
favorite
food
going
from
there
and
you
get
there
are
like
we
give
you
like
20
to
30
seconds
on
each
question.
If
you
don't
vote
amount
of
time,
it's
going
to
lock
you
out.
So
we
ask
you
to
do
that.
C
Okay
comes
back,
it
says
everyone
is
voted
early
and
you
see
the
results
on
the
screen
above
me
here
on
in
front
of
you
about
what
I
actually
mean
voted.
Most
of
you
want
out
pizza
or
ice
cream
for
supper
tonight,
the
other
hamburgers
and
somebody
with
sushi.
So
you
get
a
night
interested
in
staying
by
how
the
voting's
going
to
work
and
what's
going
to
look
like
on
the
screen,
so
we
want
to
make
sure
you
understand
that
okay,
so
you
wanna
start
question
two
go
ahead.
C
A
A
D
A
A
A
A
A
E
A
A
So
what
we've
been
doing
is
at
councils
request
is
looking
at
options
that
we
can
utilize
to
replace
or
renovate
the
government
Center,
and
so
we've
been
proposing.
We
worked
with
architects,
Newton
Aaron
and
associates
our
architects,
which
is
heck.
Berta
Shawn
to
wor,
have
been
putting
together
a
proposal
to
look
at
different
options.
The
budget
that
was
proposed
is
just
over
a
million
dollars
to
include
planning
and
programming.
This
would
be
C.
A
So,
looking
at
the
proposed
options,
the
first
option
would
be
on
the
existing
site
would
be
complete
demolition
of
the
wings
in
the
garage.
So
for
those
of
you
who
do
not
know
at
the
government
Center,
we
have
a
main
tower,
that's
12
stories,
and
then
we
have
two
wings
on
either
side
and
then
the
parking
garages,
but
beneath
the
wings.
So
this
would
be
a
complete
demolition
of
the
wings
and
the
garage
build
a
new
Judicial
Center
on
the
existing
site
and
to
completely
renovate
the
tower
for
city.
Administrative
purposes
also
included
an
option.
A
So
option
two
again
would
be
on
the
existing
site:
a
complete
demolition
of
all
the
buildings
on
that
site,
a
new
judicial
center,
a
new
city
administration
building
and
a
new
garage.
So
this
would
completely
remove
all
the
current
structures
on
that
site
and
replace
with
new
structures
on
that
same
existing
site.
This
is
what
we're
calling
option
two
option.
A
Three
would
also
include
relocating
some
of
the
facilities
to
a
new
site
so
again
complete
demolition
of
all
the
facilities
on
that
site,
a
new
Judicial
Center
with
a
broader
footprint,
fewer
stories,
new
Judicial
Center
parking
lot,
and
that
would
be
on
the
existing
site
and
a
new
city
administration,
building
on
a
new
site.
So
this
actually
includes
both
the
existing
site
and
a
new
site
for
the
new
administration
building,
and
it
would
have
just
surface
parking
for
the
administration
building.
A
And
the
fourth
option
would
be
a
new
site
to
abandon
the
existing
site
so
demolish
those
facilities
on
the
existing
site
or
to
sell
the
the
buildings
on
the
existing
site,
but
move
all
the
operations
to
a
new
site
which
would
be
a
new
judicial
center.
A
new
city
administration,
building
and
new
parking
facilities
on
a
completely
different
site.
C
A
I'm
gonna,
you
know
so
I'm
gonna
go
back
through
those
four
options
again
just
to
make
sure
everybody's
clear.
So
let's
go
back
to
option
one
which
is
the
existing
site.
It
would
be
a
new
Judicial
Center
on
the
existing
site
and
to
renovate
the
tower
on
the
existing
site.
So
in
this
scenario
we
would
only
demolish
the
wings
in
the
parking
garage
and
we'd
have
a
new
parking
structure
and
a
new
Judicial
Center
and
a
renovated
Tower.
A
A
So
option
three
would
be
a
new
site
for
the
admin
building
and
the
judicial
stint.
Judicial
center
would
stay
on
the
existing
site,
so
the
demolition
of
all
the
buildings
on
that
site,
a
new
judicial
center
and
parking
garage
on
the
existing
site
and
moving
the
city
admin
building
to
another
site
and
that
site
has
not
been
determined
so
that
input
would
be
interesting
to
us
to
pass
on
to
Council
as
well
and
then
option.
A
F
A
A
A
Any
other
questions
on
the
four
options
and
again
these
are
just
options
that
we're
looking
at
to
provide
additional
detail
to
counsel
at
the
February
26th
meeting,
we'll
be
coming
back
to
them,
with
the
results
of
our
public
meetings,
just
to
give
them
as
much
information
as
we
can
so.
The
next
is
again
you'll
see
something
pop
up
on
your
phone.
It's
asking
you,
which
is
your
preferred
option
and
you
do
have
the
handout
you
can
look
back
through
those
to
see
if
option
one
two,
three
or
four
is
your
preferred
option.
A
So
you
can
see
based
on
just
the
folks
that
are
in
this
room
option.
Four
is
the
preferred
option
from
this
group
then
option
two
an
option:
three
kind
of
split
there
in
the
middle
of
it.
It
looks
like
option
four
with
this
group
of
folks
is
the
option
which
is
moving
off
of
the
existing
site,
with
both
facilities.
A
G
A
H
H
G
G
G
G
F
G
G
D
G
A
A
F
G
And
yeah
and
obviously
we're
trying
to
figure
out
how
best
to
do
it
if
you
demoed
the
wings
first
for
example,
and
construct
on
that
site,
while
the
Government
Center
tower
is
still
being
use,
then
it
would
allow
the
courtrooms
to
continue
because
the
courtrooms
are
in
the
government
Center
tower.
And
if
you
built
a
Judicial
Center,
let's
say
where
the
wings
are
and
then
they
move
out.
And
yes,
so
it'd
have
to
be
a
coordinated
effort.
I
I
I
G
L
K
K
B
B
Any
member
of
Council
will
be
happy
to
hear
your
your
input,
and
this
is
a
process
and
we
are
in
the
information
seeking
phase
of
this
process,
because
we
recognize
that
whatever
we
do,
we
want
to
stand
the
test
of
time,
as
it
was
pointed
out
fifty
years
down
the
road
we
don't
want
to
have
to
be.
May
you
know
start
over
from
scratch.
We
want
something
that
is
solid,
functional
and
safe
and
economical.
To
operate.
B
I
do
appreciate
mr.
Evans
comments
because
they
sort
of
aligned
with
my
own.
If
everything
was
level
on
the
money.
Part
I
think
it
makes
perfect
sense
to
be
conjoined
with
the
with
to
jail,
to
ensure
the
highest
degree
of
safety
for
for
our
Sheriff's
Department,
and
also
for
our
citizens,
who
are
serving
on
juries
and
I
would
love
to
see
a
general
government
building
that
brought
in
the
annex.
So
two
valuable
pieces
of
commercial
property
and
then
served
as
sort
of
an
impetus
for
other
development.
