A
Hi
I'm
Lisa
Goodwin,
deputy
city
manager
of
operations,
the
Columbus
consolidated
government
is
scheduled
to
reopen
to
the
public
on
Monday,
maybe
18th.
This
includes
all
government
buildings,
including
the
government
Center,
the
city
services
center
and
the
annex
in
all
other
city
government
buildings.
As.
B
We
begin
to
reopen
our
buildings.
We
are
doing
so
with
social
distancing
in
mind
in
an
effort
to
minimize
the
spread
of
kovat
19.
As
you
enter
many
of
our
buildings,
you
will
see
the
six-foot
social
distancing,
markers
on
the
floors,
plexiglass
shields
at
counters,
more
cleaning
and
sanitizing
taking
place.
We
strongly
encourage
those
entering
public
buildings
to
wear
a
face,
mask
for
your
protection
and
for
the
protection
of
others.
You
will
see
city
employees
wearing
face
masks
when
engaging
with
the
public
as
we
continue
to
live
our
new
normal
in
this
video
segment.
B
I
will
be
followed
by
departments
that
will
share
with
you
their
reopening
strategies,
I
also
serve
as
the
interim
director
of
the
Columbus
Civic
Center.
We
will
open
the
Civic
Center
and
the
ice
rink
to
the
public
on
may
be
18.
Only
the
administrative
offices
will
open,
which
means
you
will
be
able
to
come
to
the
Civic
Center's
box
office
to
receive
refunds
for
those
events
that
were
canceled
as
a
result
of
kovat
19.
At
this
time
we
don't
have
a
date
specific
when
we
will
open
either
facility
or
events
or
large
gatherings.
B
This
information
will
be
shared
as
we
get
closer
to
the
end
of
the
June
12th
state
of
emergency
declaration,
at
which
time
the
mayor
will
provide
direction
on
moving
forward.
We
are,
however,
preparing
for
the
return
of
great
entertainment
and
family
once
it's
safe
for
everyone
to
return.
Thank
you.
There.
C
Is
no
doubt
this
recent
pandemic
has
put
us
all
in
uncomfortable
situation,
and
there
are
looking
a
few
things
off
for
us,
but
here
on
behalf
of
the
solid
waste
and
recycling,
we
want
to
say
thank
you,
especially
during
these
difficult
times,
as
we've
had
to
suspend
some
of
our
non-essential
services,
and
we
want
to
thank
you
guys
for
helping
us
get
through
this
difficult
time.
So
we're
going
to
go
over
a
few
things
that
are
going
to
move
forward
with
this
transition
as
we
get
back
to
normal.
C
We
also
started
our
green
boat
collection,
this
Easter
during
the
Easter
storm
collecting
limbs
and
brush.
We
have
worked
our
way
around
the
city
collecting
these
piles
and
we
should
be
finished
around
this
mother
today
weekend
on
epically
stuff,
we've
started
the
collection
of
yard
waste
and
green
Bowl
throughout
the
neighborhoods,
and
we
were
able
to
collect
all
the
yard
waste
compiled
during
this
pandemic
and
in
all
of
our
current
neighborhood.
We
also
want
to
encourage
you
guys,
as
we
reinstate
recycling,
to
consider
backyard
composting.
C
This
is
a
great
way
to
help
out
the
environment
by
adding
nutrients
from
your
yard.
Waste
and
food
waste,
so
you
can
get
it
back
into
that
of
the
cycle,
so
we're
going
to
go
into
some
reminders,
as
we
reinstate
recycling
we're
happy
to
announce
that
recycling
collections
will
be
reinstated
on
June
1st,
so
we're
gonna
go
over
a
few
reminders,
as
you
remember,
to
have
your
recycling
car
empty
of
all
household
garbage.
Make
sure
that
recycling
cart
does
not
contain
any
household
garbage.
C
We're
gonna
go
over
a
few
things
that
you
can
remember
to
keep
inside
your
car
and
your
recycling
bin,
and
this
graphic
that
you'll
see
on
the
screen
has
a
few
of
those
reminders
and
it's
well
I'm,
going
to
read
a
few
we're
recycling
contamination.
Keep
that
in
mind.
This
occurs
when
any
of
those
sorted
items
are
put
in
the
wrong
place,
such
as
your
blue
bin.
We
want
to
make
sure
this
VIN
is
of
things
such
as
plastic
bags,
food
waste
and
loose
shredded
paper.
D
My
name
is
Holly
Browder
and
I'm.
The
director
of
Columbus,
Parks
and
Recreation
I
want
to
take
a
moment
to
provide
an
update
on
the
parks,
recreation
facilities
here
in
the
City
of
Columbus.
Currently,
the
parks
and
our
community
are
open
for
our
community
to
use,
but,
unfortunately,
the
men
bees
in
the
parks
are
closed.
Pavilions
playgrounds,
exercise,
equipment,
amenities
in
those
parks
are
closed
and
at
this
time
we'll
remain
closed
for
the
safety
of
our
community.
D
Our
trails
are
open
and
we
know
we
encourage
folks
to
take
the
opportunity
to
get
outside,
but
please
remember
to
social
distance.
Please
remember
to
stay
six
feet
apart
in
groups
of
less
than
ten
starting
on
May
18th.
We
anticipate
opening
a
few
of
our
facilities.
As
we
begin,
the
reopening
process
of
moving
forward
on
May
18th
our
administrative
office
will
reopen.
So
please
continue
to
give
us
a
call
if
we
can
be
of
assistance,
our
number
seven
or
six,
two,
two
five,
four
six
five
eight
also
will
be
open.
D
The
Cooper
Creek
Tennis
Center,
the
tennis
center,
will
reopen,
but
it
will
operate
slightly
different
in
the
beginning,
so
that
we
can
make
sure
that
we
can
adhere
to
social
distancing
standards
in
our
community.
Also
May
18th.
We
look
to
open
the
Lake,
Oliver,
marina
you'll,
be
able
to
pick
up
tackle
and
bait
as
well
as
to
get
your
launch
passes
to
enjoy
like
Oliver.
The
one
thing
we
will
not
initially
open,
though,
will
be
the
food
aspect
of
serving
lunch
or
breakfast.
D
Those
are
things
that
we
will
not
be
doing
in
this
first
phase,
also
we'll
be
opening
the
mall
rainy
house
for
tours,
and
we
encourage
those
who
would
like
to
visit
us.
So
please
do
so,
although
our
groups
will
need
to
be
less
than
five
and
social
distancing
will
need
to
be
adhere
to
during
the
tour
moving
forward.
We
anticipate
our
other
facilities
to
be
evaluated,
beginning
on
June
12th,
with
the
edge
of
the
governor's
executive
order
on
June
12th.
D
Those
facilities
would
include
our
senior
centers,
our
recreation
centers,
our
therapeutic
facility,
our
boxing
facility,
our
Britt
David
pottery
studio,
our
Aquatic
Center,
our
outdoor
pools
and
our
summer
camp.
Unfortunately,
at
this
time,
due
to
current
restrictions
for
social
distancing,
we're
unable
to
open
those
facilities
but
hope
to
certainly
be
able
to
reevaluate
all
those
areas
as
we
get
closer
to
the
June
12th
date
again,
those
is
represented.
D
Our
our
senior
centers,
our
recreation
centers,
our
therapeutic
center,
our
Britt
David
pottery
studio,
our
Haygood
boxing
gym
the
Don
Hatcher
Jonathan
hunter
skateboard
park,
our
outdoor
pools,
the
Columbus
Aquatic
Center,
all
of
our
athletic
fields,
baseball,
softball,
Woodruff,
Park,
so
all
of
our
athletic
sports
facility
fields,
as
well
as
our
basketball
courts
and
our
volleyball
courts
and
our
outdoor
tennis
courts.
We
will
evaluate
all
of
those
at
that
time
again.
D
E
Everyone
I'm
Haley
Hilary,
the
executive
director
of
the
Columbus
Georgia
Convention
and
Trade
Center,
also
known
as
the
our
work
on
May
18.
We
will
be
able
to
unlock
our
doors,
but
we
will
be
following
very
strict
social
distancing
policy
for
our
citizens.
Our
front
desk
area
Lobby
will
only
allow
one
person
at
any
time.
We
will
have
seating
available.
That
is
six
feet
apart
outside
of
our
lobby.
When
we
are
officially
reopened
for
events,
the
Trade
Center
is
honoring
a
3-phase
reopening
process.
E
Each
phase
will
have
certain
guidelines
that
we
are
expecting
the
clients
to
follow.
This
will
allow
social
distancing
and
the
safety
of
you,
our
guests
and
our
employees.
At
the
event,
more
information
about
this
phase
reopening
you
can
always
find
out
that
w
w
Columbus
traits
intercom,
we
also
were
electing
know
that
we
have
all
the
tools
for
virtual
meeting
options.
Instead
of
you
leaving
your
house,
you
can
have
a
virtual
meeting
with
your
event
coordinator.
Do
a
site
tour,
even
design,
your
diagram,
straightforward
from
computer
to
computer
interaction.
E
You
can
set
up
a
virtual
option
by
pulling
our
main
office
at
7:06
three
to
seven.
Four
five
to
two:
please:
no
everyday!
This
is
still
changing,
but
one
thing:
that's
not
going
to
change
the
safety
of
you
and
your
guests
when
have
an
event
here
at
the
Trade
Center
social
business
thing
will
be
a
new
norm,
but
we
do
want
to
know
our
team
is
doing
all
we
can
to
make
sure
this
building
is
safe.
We
have
new
Senate
typing
practices
as
well
as
re
opening
and
closing
checklist.
E
That
will
make
sure
this
building
is
a
top
priority
for
you
for
more
information.
You
can
always
reach
out
to
us
where
we
can
give
you
more
details,
but
please
know
we're
ready
to
make
history,
but
only
when
it's
the
safest
way
possible
call
us
at
7:06
three
to
seven
four
five,
two
two,
we
hope
to
make
history
with
you
soon.
F
Hi
this
is
Jim
r8.
The
golf
director
for
the
City
of
Columbus
today,
I'm
talking
to
you
from
Bull
Creek,
Golf,
Course
and
I'm
gonna,
go
over
a
few
of
the
things
that
we're
doing
to
promote
safety
while
we're
open
we've
been
open.
Now,
since
May
first
we've
had
a
very
successful
first
seven
days
of
opening
and
a
lot
of
the
people,
the
community
of
enjoyed
playing
the
golf
courses
here
at
Bull,
Creek,
Oxbow,
freaking,
Godwin
Creek.
So
here's
a
brief
video
to
describe
the
methods
that
we've
used
to
keep
everybody
safe
and
remain
open.
F
At
the
same
time,
signs
are
important.
We
have
them
early
and
often
so
people
will
know
what
to
what
is
expected
of
them.
We
have
markers
on
the
ground,
the
white
stakes
with
the
red
tips,
so
people
know
how
far
they
should
be
apart,
so
they'll
be
able
to
practice
safe
social
distancing,
more
signage
here
telling
people
they
are
not
supposed
to
touch
the
flagstick.
Only
one
rider
per
cart.
Let's
move
the
bunkers
with
their
feet
and
only
one
bathroom
is
available.
We
sanitize
it
every
hour
we
another
sign.
F
We
only
allow
three
people
in
the
clubhouse
at
a
time,
of
course,
a
reminder
on
social
distancing.
We
want
everybody
enter
in
the
same
place,
exit
in
the
same
place
and
we
offer
our
hand
sanitizer.
It
makes
everybody
happy
knowing
they
can
do
that,
especially
if
they've
been
handling
money,
more
signage,
more
markers
again
find
sign
sign.
Here
we
go
we're
in
the
clubhouse
another
sign
that
says
no
more
than
three
people
blue
lines.
F
Don't
don't
go
past
the
blue
lines
unless
it's
your
turn,
we've
got
it
blocked
off
so
that
all
the
traffic
has
to
flow.
The
same
way
make
your
way
into
the
clubhouse.
We've
got
the
counter.
We've
got
Plexiglas
at
the
counter,
so
we
can
separate
their
customers
and
the
people
working,
so
we
can
keep
everyone
safe.
F
G
The
elections
office
will
be
open
for
early
voting,
beginning
Monday
May
18th.
At
7
a.m.
we
will
be
open
Monday
through
Friday
7:00
a.m.
to
7:00
p.m.
on
Saturday
May
23rd.
We
will
be
open
from
9
a.m.
until
4.
We
will
be
closed
on
Sunday
May,
24th
and
Monday
May
25th
for
the
Memorial
Day
holiday.
We
will
open
again
for
early
voting
on
May
26th
and
we
open
from
7
a.m.
to
7
p.m.
that
Tuesday
through
Friday,
Saturday
and
Sunday
will
be
from
9
a.m.
G
H
My
name
is
Lula
Lunsford
huff,
I'm
your
tax
commissioner,
here
in
Muskogee
County,
and
we're
opening
our
doors
back
to
you
on
Monday
May
18th,
that
is,
for
face-to-face
transactions.
We've
been
here
working
hard
for
you
all
along
and
we
never
stopped
working
for
you.
You
have
been
mailing
in
your
renewals
or
you've
been
using
the
internet
or
you've
been
using
our
popular
drop-off
box
here
at
the
citizens
service
center,
and
we
appreciate
that
on
May
18th
we
will
be
opening
our
doors
for
face-to-face
transactions.
H
However,
for
your
safety
and
that
of
our
citizens,
we
want
you
to
use
social
distancing,
and
that
means
that
within
our
office,
we'll
only
be
able
to
have
six
individuals
or
customers
in
our
office
at
a
time
and
that's
quite
limited,
so
we're
asking
you
to
please
for
your
safety
for
the
safety
of
the
employees.
Please
utilize
the
sources
that
you've
used
before.
Please
use
our
Dropbox
we're
open
from
8:30
to
4:30,
just
drop
it
off
and
you
can
keep
on
with
your
busy
work
of
the
day.
Then
you've
got
the
web
renewals.
H
Don't
forget
that
you
can
utilize
that,
and
you
can
also
utilize
the
internet.
We've
got
an
excellent
turnaround,
time
of
only
a
day
or
two,
so
we'll
get
it
right
back
to
you,
but
if
you
must
come
in
your
major
transactions
are
going
to
be
for
titles
titles
that
mean
that
you
need
that
document
for
proof
of
ownership.
Those
you
would
want
to
come
in
for
and
we'll
take
good
care
of
you
again
we're
using
a
social
distancing.
So
you
want
to
stay
out
of
the
lines.
