A
Welcome
to
Columbus
connections:
I
am
your
host
David
Britt
and
we
are
checking
back
in
with
the
homeless
Resource
Network.
Now,
if
you
watch
some
of
the
shows
before
you
know
the
great
work
that
the
homeless
Resource
Network
does,
and
it's
not
just
one
thing:
they
do
they're
a
myriad
of
things
that
they
do
for
the
homeless
community
in
Columbus,
from
getting
IDs
to
having
a
place
to
keep
their
items,
basically
helping
them
find
housing
and
get
from
being
homeless,
but
I
I
can't
tell
you
more
about
it.
I
have
the
perfect
person
here.
A
B
Network,
my
name
is
Lydia
Jackson
I
am
the
community
service
coordinator
at
the
homeless,
Resource
Network,
and
what
we
do
is
we
work
with
those
that
are
homeless
or
those
that
are
in
need
of
some
type
of
help
to
get
them
to
the
right
resources
wherever
it
is,
they
may
need
to
go
whatever
is
they
need
to
have,
so
they
can
get
started
again
in
their
life.
Now.
B
That's
basically,
the
reason
to
go
to
work
is
to
know
that
you're
gonna
get
a
chance
to
connect
with
someone
to
make
a
difference
in
their
life
to
be
able
to
give
them
some
hope
and
show
them
the
avenues
they
need
to
go
through
to
get
to
that
point.
To
get
to
housing
or
medical
service
whatever
it
is,
they
may
need
to
get.
A
B
You
guys
have
an
event
coming
up:
it
is
our
wine-tasting
mingle
it.
This
is
our
six
year
that
we'll
be
doing
the
wine-tasting
Mingo
yeah
pull
off
the
post.
Yes,
it
is
going
to
be
at
the
loft
and
it's
$40
to
get
in
in
advance
$50
at
the
door.
It
includes
the
meal.
It
also
includes,
of
course,
the
wine.
We
do
a
really
awesome
silent
auction.
A
lot
of
people
come
back
for
the
auction,
but
it's
for
a
good
cause.
Some
of
the
things
that
we
do
we
can
do
more
of.
B
If
we
can
get
more
funding,
get
more
birth
certificates,
more
bus
passes
more
connects
to
wherever
it
is.
They
may
need
so
best
of
we
smile.
We
do
this
so
I'm,
hoping
that
you
can
go
online
about
tickets.
You
can
come
down
to
the
office
or
you
can
call
us
if
you
go
online
homeless,
resource
network.org
and
you
can
see
all
the
information
on
there
how
to
buy
tickets,
how
to
connect
to
us
and
a
lot
of
things
that
we're
doing
throughout
the
community.
A
B
A
B
A
A
B
B
Gonna
need
that's
right,
so
when
people
come
to
us,
that's
the
reason
why
we
try
to
make
sure
you
make
that
good
connection
for
them.
Yeah,
because
when
you
leave
a
place,
you
don't
want
to
have
to
go
to
four
or
five
different
places
and
all
of
them
tell
you.
No,
not
here
go
somewhere
else.
It
gets
discouraged
it's
considered.
So
we
try
to
eliminate
that
and
try
to
make
sure
when
they
leave
that
they're
going
someplace
where
they
can
really
see
what
they
need.
That's.
A
You
know
I
never
thought
about
that
part
of
it
just
when
you're
in
a
situation
at
some
time.
Your
your
your
esteem
and
the
way
you
feel
about
yourself,
oh
yeah,
you
feel
so
hopeless
that
just
going
and
just
asking
for
help
from
this
place
to
this
place,
you
may
get
sent
to
this
place
and
get
sent
over
here.
You
just
never
make
it
to
that
second
place.
You
never
feel
like
putting
up
with
this.
So
there's
just
the
fact
that
you
all
have
everything
and
that
one
spot
just
that
within
its
thank
you.
B
It
we
work
really
hard
at
that,
and
we
want
clients
to
know
that
when
they
come
there,
a
lot
of
times
word
of
mouth
they'll,
just
go
just
go
to
the
homeless
resource
network.
They'll
help
you
and
we
also
do
here.
Cuz
did
you
know
we
do
here,
cuz
the
first
Monday
of
every
month,
overflow
barbershops
okay,
has
partnered
with
us
over
seven
years
now,
and
they
come
every
Monday
of
the
first
Monday
of
the
month
and
they
cut
the
clients
here,
which
makes
them
also
feel
good
about
their
sales
cause.
