A
Hey
welcome
to
Columbus
connection
no
I'm,
not
David
brick,
because
Ava
doesn't
have
all
this
stuff
here,
but
guess
what
we
got
a
good
program
talking
about
something,
that's
really
unique:
something
really
good
for
Columbus
for
the
future.
I
want
you
to
put
your
thinking
caps
on
and
see
till
we
come
back
on
the
other
end
of
this
commercial.
B
Recycling
is
good
for
the
environment,
it's
good
for
Columbus,
but
please
remember
when
recycling
we
only
accept
aluminum,
10
and
metal
cans,
plastic
bottles,
jars
and
jugs
junk
mail,
including
window
envelopes
back
shredded
paper,
including
white
and
colored
paper,
telephone
books,
newspapers
and
magazines,
cardboard
and
all
types
of
plastic
containers
for
call
311
today
for
your
blue
bin
and
start
recycling.
It's
the
right
thing
to
do.
I
volunteer.
C
A
Welcome
back
to
Columbus
connection:
did
you
figure
out
what
it
is
I
want
to
tell
you.
So
am
I
right
here:
I
have
dr.
Eddy
pal
and
he's
going
we're
going
to
talk
about
a
program,
that's
very,
very,
very
exciting.
It's
about
the
future
of
Columbus
and
about
all
the
very
bright
young
people
that
we
have
here
dr.
pal.
Thank
you
for
coming
appreciate
about.
F
A
What
we're
talking
about
now
y'all
is
the
reach
program,
and
this
gentleman
to
my
right.
He
has
been
handed
too
macho
to
really
take
up
this
reach
program.
The
reach
program
is
a
dynamic
program
that
was
started
over
a
year
ago
and
I'm
just
fortunate
enough
to
have
grabbed
a
baton
handed
it
to
mr.
Melvin
Blackwell
and
to
the
superintendent
and
now
go
test
of
a
time
now
to
dr.
Powell.
So
doctor
thought:
let's
talk
about
the
reach
program.
Yes,.
F
And
I
agree
with
that.
I
think
the
baton
have
been
passed
on
to
the
to
the
final
leg
and
what
we
look
at,
how
about
the
reach
program?
Just
to
get
you
the
history
about
the
reach
program
governor
deal
sparklers
programming
in
2012.
It
was
a
program
to
reach
out
to
those
students
that
were
being
that
basic
falling
through
the
cracks.
That's
right,
there
are
not
going
high
enough
on
the
for
the
hope.
F
Scholarship
they're,
not
epilating,
climbing
I,
getting
athletic
scholarship,
so
these
are
students
are
doing
the
right
thing,
exactly
they're,
making
good
grades
good,
behavior,
good
attendance,
and
on
top
of
that
they
have
a
very
clean
record.
So
the
reach
program
is
going
with
w
them
they
decide
to
reach
out
and
that
what
we
call
to
reach
that
reach
out
and
grab
these
students.
They
are
doing
what
they
need
to
do
and
offer
them
some
kind
of
thin
in
which
is
a
scholarship.
A
F
F
Students
are
one
that
maybe
the
parents
might
not
be
there
for
them
out
of
pocket
to
go
to
college
again.
They
might
not
reach
the
hope
scholarship
where
things
are
free.
So
right
now,
with
the
reach
program,
governor
did
is
often
ten
thousand
dollar
per
student
to
attend
college
and
each
year
in
college,
they
will
receive
twenty
five
hundred
dollars
to
continue
their
education
until
graduation
and.
F
The
hope
scholarship
and
on
top
of
that
Daryl
selective
colleges,
will
match
that
$10,000.
That's
awesome,
so
those
students
that
right
now
in
our
first
cohort
group,
they
are
almost
guaranteed
twenty
thousand
dollars
exactly
and
by
the
way
things
are
moving,
but
I
need
reach
their
senior
year
in
the
first
year
in
college.
It
can
easily
go
to
fifty
thousand
dollars
exactly
right.
F
A
What
we
need
to
do
we
need
to
let
the
community
know,
because
then
what
we
want
to
do
after
we
talked
about
it.
We
wanted
to
have
the
community
to
see
these
faces
of
the
future.
That's
what
we
want
to
do,
but
one
of
the
obstacles-
and
another
thing
I
like
about
this
program-
is
that
it's
allowing
it's
a
gift
to
the
community,
but
it's
also
allowing
output
the
opportunity
for
the
community
to
put
some
skin
in
the
game.
Oh
yes,.
F
And
what
I
call
this
ownership:
another
ownership
for
hours,
communicating
for
hours,
for
the
school
system
to
take
ownership,
our
students
and,
at
this
point,
yeah
we're
at
the
point
where
the
first
year
it
was
completely
paid
for
the
10,000
will
complete
the
paper
but
the
second
year
and
it
and
dust
fur
it's
going
to
require
the
school
district
to
collect
or
get
donation
of
2500
dollar
per
stupor
students
per
student,
which
is
that
equate
to
raising
twenty
thousand
dollars
per
year.
Exactly
so
to
cover
these
h
students.
F
A
G
A
F
Cohort
and
that's
correct
and
the
one
thing
we
have
put
in
place
made
to
ensure
that
these
students
are
not
just
you
know,
receive
the
scholarship
and
just
abandoned.
We
have
a
mentor
that
far
them
for
the
next
four
year.
We
have
academic
coach
that
far,
then
for
the
next
four
year
and
of
course,
you're
going
to
have
to
reach
coordinators
are
going
to
follow
them
for
the
next
four
years
to
make
sure
these
students
that
are
maintained
their
grades.
F
F
A
H
I
K
I
I
I
I
N
E
J
Afternoon,
my
name
is
Michael
okay,
I
am
currently
serving
as
the
principal
of
rock
child
leadership
academy.
I
am
the
proud
mentor
of
a
super
fine
student
by
the
name
of
dylan
jack
at
richards
middle
school
and
also
I
serve
as
the
academic
coach
for
my
own
student
ground
owns
a
truck
childish
academy
and
I
am
very
proud
to
serve
a
humbly
proud
to
serve
these
students,
and
I
congratulate
them
and
the
governor
are
doing
such
a
wonderful
job
and
extending
out
to
make
sure
that
we
take
care
of
our
now.
A
J
Sir,
if
you
know,
research
tells
us
council
bonds
that,
when
process
or
individual
is,
is
monitored
or
supervised,
then
that
process
improves.
And
so
you
know,
that's.
The
same
process
applies
to
this
situation,
and
I
applaud
mr.
paulo
and
mr.
blackwell
for
putting
this
in
place
and
what
it
and
what
is
going
to
do
is
going
to
create
a
a
resource
for
these
students
per
se.
Individuals
that
are
adults
that
they
can
reach
out
to
we're
going
to
make
sure
that
they're
great
they
keep
the
greater
because
there
is
a
great
requirement.
J
So
we
have
a
responsibility
as
academic
coaches
and
as
mentors
for
that
most
for
that
part
as
well
to
make
sure
we
monitor
their
their
grades
to
make
sure
that
they
stay
on
track
to
graduate
from
high
school,
and
you
know
even
when
they
grow
in
the
college.
You
know
I
plan
on
still
I'm
sure
day
as
well
plan
on
keeping
in
touch
with
them
make
sure
that
they
don't.
You
know
that
they
don't
fall
through
the
cracks
when
they
enroll
in
college.
Some.
A
J
Well,
that's
a
social
aspect
of
you
know
they
may
have
questions.
I
know
we're
building
our
you
know
him
and
I.
Will
we're
spoken
about
a
lot
of
things
you
know
far
as
decisions
and
choices
there
he's
going
to
make
that
I'm
not
really
academically
inclined
but
there,
but
their
social
in
nature
and
so
I
hope
that,
as
you
know,
him
and
I
get
to
know
each
other
here
feel
more
comfortable.
You
know
come
to
me
with
things
because
you
were,
you
know,
he's
getting
ready
to
go
from
adolescent
teenager.
J
You
know
preteens
a
teenager
and
you
know,
as
we
know,
the
world
has
changed
significantly.
So
it's
important
to
have
as
many
responsible
adults
in
your
life
that
you
can
call
long.
You
know
four
ounces,
so
you
get
safe
and
correct
and
answers
that
will
lead
you
in
the
right
direction.
So
I
would
say
one
is
academic
and
one
and
social
Dementor
pieces.
The
social.
J
A
E
E
N
For
me,
as
a
lifetime,
educator
is
really
important
for
me
to
pick
up
all
the
pieces
for
Brianna,
so
we
do
look
at
her
academics,
as
well
as
having
just
social
activities
where
we
do
things
that
girls
would
do
together.
So,
given
her
those
types
of
opportunities
to
always
have
someone
she
can
talk
to,
we
talked
about.
How
do
you
make
important
decisions
like
which
high
school
you
want
to
attend?
So
it's
just
really
exciting
to
come
alongside
someone
and
help
them
on
their
journey.
D
Well,
I
have
the
awesome
opportunity
of
being
the
academic
coach
24
of
these
reach
scholars
when
I
conversate
with
them.
Definitely
just
talking
to
them
about
you
know
their
high
school.
You
know
career
choices,
you
know
what
they
want
to
study
when
they
get
into
high
school
answering
their
questions
of
extracurricular
activities.
So
definitely
just
trying
to
be
that
person
to
kind
of
help
them
you
know
help
them
to
maintain
their
grades,
help
them
to
you
know,
balance.
You
know,
navigate
all
the
social
aspects
of
middle
school
and.
A
A
These
individuals
are
the
future
and
I
congratulate
all
you,
educators,
educators
of
our
have
the
futures
in
their
hands
and
I,
just
appreciate
all
that
you
are
doing
as
mentors
and
as
academic
cultures,
I
sincerely
appreciate
each
and
every
less
learning
it.
We're
gonna
have
some
cohort
these
scholars
on
camera.
Next,
I
can't
wait
until
you
see
our
future
right
before
you
will
come
right
back
after
a
word
from
our
another
commercial
bicycles.
O
O
Remember
the
rules
of
the
road
when
you're
out
enjoying
a
bike,
ride
and
motoring
when
you're,
sharing
the
road
with
cyclists,
use
caution
and
give
at
least
three
feet
when
half
bicycles
are
safe,
fun
and
sensible.
When
you
ride,
be
visible,
be
predictable
and
be
alert,
you'll
have
a
safe
ride
and
a
great
time.
Let's
get
there
together,
Georgia
a
message
from
the
governor's
office
of
Highway,
Safety
and
Georgia
bike
I.
P
H
A
Q
P
L
R
I
I
S
S
A
This
is
our
opportunity
now
that
dr.
Powell
come
up
here
and
speak
about
what
this
community
really
needs
to
do.
Now
you
heard
dr.
pail
saying
that
the
governor
the
state
has
given
the
money
output
for
each
one
of
these
reach
scholars
thank
God.
Now
we
as
the
community,
we're
going
to
have
to
really
start
contributing,
contributing
and
really
start
helping.
This
program
stay
a
viable
program
each
and
every
year
and
dr.
pail.
Would
you
explain
to
them
how
they
can
help
you
do
that
again.
F
Pop
bonds
I
want
to
make
sure
we
understand
that
this
is.
We
need
to
take
ownership
as
a
community
and
should
take
care
our
students,
so
we're
asking
that
you
guys
to
make
donation.
You
can
call
me
directly
at
770,
6
7,
4
8
2000,
to
reach
me
directly
with
the
school
system,
or
you
can
email
me
at
powa,
LLC,
GDI
e
dot,
d
@
m
us
co,
je
e
dot,
k,
12
GA
dot
us.
F
If
that's
too
much
like
again
give
me
a
call
we're
taking
donations,
you
can
go
to
reach
website
just
go
into
the
region
website
and
on
that
website
it
will
ask
you:
do
you
wanna
make
a
donation
one
time
or
you
want
to
make
it
once
a
month
and
you
can
use
your
credit
card
or
your
checks
or
ATM
card.
We
don't
turn
down
anything.
F
So
my
thing
that
I've
talked
to
the
teachers
and
everyone
else
is
that
it
all
going
to
cost
us,
maybe
four
cents
per
day
to
raise
that
twenty
thousand
dollars
four
cents
per
day
to
raise,
and
that
equates
to
one
dollar
per
month.
That
is
that's
all
I'm
askin.
To
start
out
with
Egyptian
Gilmore,
but
we're
asking
to
start
out
with
least
one
dollar
per
month
again
give
me
a
call.
We
can
directly
guys
to
make
sure
these
students
are
successful,
but
not
on
that.
Every
every
year
we
will
collect
eight
new
students
every
year.
F
A
I
want
to
thank
you,
everybody
involved
in
the
program
on
their
mentors
and
all
the
academic
coaches
involved,
dr.
Powell
you
and-
and
let
me
tell
you
some
I'm
just
so
proud
looking
at
the
future
right
here.
We
need
your
support
and
dr.
car.
Would
you
give
them
your
phone
number
again
how
they
can
contact
you
again.
A
Is
our
Columbus
connection?
It's
a
dynamic
show.
You
know
what
I'm
thankful
about
unsafe
or
the
mike
king
called
me.
Dr.
Powell
got
in
touch
with
me,
so
I
could
be
sitting
up
here
and
be
looking
kind
of
good
with
all
these,
your
future,
who
should
include
your
professors
and
entrepreneurs
and
all
like
that?
It
will
be
possible
a
dollar
a
day.
