A
A
A
Connections,
I'm
your
host,
David,
Britt
and
first
I
want
to
say
for
people
that
have
been
watching
me
and
following
me
for
years,
I
really
appreciate
appreciate
you
guys
if
you
know
anything
about
this
time
of
year.
This
is
the
time
when
I
get
to
sit
down
and
talk
to
the
man,
the
Memphis
legend
himself,
Mr
Carlos
Williams
about
the
Fountain
City
Classic.
This
is
a
great
time
for
Columbus
lots
of
amazing
activities.
It's
a
kind
of
a
homecoming
for
the
city.
A
If
you
will
so
we're
going
to
tell
you
all
about
all
the
events
and
where
you
can
find
stuff
and
where
you
need
to
be
at
welcome
back
to
the
show
Mr
Williams,
my
pleasure
always
a
pleasure
to
be
with
you
and
thanks
for
having
us,
oh
yeah,
always
always,
and
now
for
those
that
haven't
always
seen
your
face.
You
are
your
voice
is
legendary
in
the
community.
Anything
that
do
it
has
to
do
with
sports
in
Columbus.
You've
been
a
long
time
voice
for
it.
I'm
a
legend
in.
B
My
own
mind,
but
you
know:
I
worked
at
wrbl
for
45
years,
some
on
camera,
some
mostly
behind
the
scenes
stuff
and
then
I've
been
privileged
to
work
at
Davis
broadcasting
for
32
years.
So
I
have
a
growth
of
knowledge
and
just
blessed
to
be
able
to
to
gather
all
this.
A
B
You
know
we
all
we
all
work,
yeah,
that's
you
know,
that's
the
main
thing.
A
lot
of
people
think
that
that
it
all
evolves
around
the
fun,
but
that's
just
a
small
part
of
it.
Absolutely
we
have
a
very
hard
working
committee
led
by
brother,
Kevin,
smyry,
of
course,
and
of
course,
led
by
Gene
Lynn
of
Auburn
States
alumni
group
and
then
Sandra
Ellison
with
the
Fort
Valley
State
University
alumni
chapter.
B
They
are
we
all
blend
together
with
our
various
members
and
do
the
job
that
needs
to
be
done
all
right.
A
B
It's
going
to
be
November
5th
this
year,
Fort
Valley
and
Albany
State
colliding
need
I,
say
more.
They
are
two
old
rivals.
They
started
playing
in
1945.
for
Valley
one.
The
first
meeting,
Auburn
State
won
last
year's
meeting
convincingly
I
I
may
add,
but
we
don't
want.
You
know
the
Albany
State
folks
are
our
friends,
we're
all
friends
matter
of
fact.
B
Yeah
we're
friends
until
the
game
starts
exactly.
Let
me
put
it
that
way,
but
it's
just
been
a
great,
a
hard-working
committee,
one
that
we've
all
been
proud
of,
and
that
has
just
done
a
great
job
over
the
years.
So
what
can
we
expect
this
year?
Well,
we've
got.
B
We
always
start
things
off
with
our
worship
service
right
for
Valley
and
Auburn
State
Alumni
joining
together
on
Sunday
the
week
before
the
game
to
worship
together
then
on
Tuesday
at
Green,
Island,
Hills,
Country,
Club
and
I
think
you
may
have
been
there
last
year,
but
we'll
have
the
the
press
conference,
the
coaches
and
players
press
conference
and
they'll
come
in
and
they'll
sell,
Little
Wolf
tickets
as
we
call
it
and
brag
on
their
team
and
tell
us
who's
go,
who
they
think
is
going
to
win
this
football
game
right
and
what
what
date
is
that
on
for
Tuesday
for
Tuesday?
B
Double
check
that,
but
they
we
will
follow
that
up
with
a
cufflinks
and
Pearls
networking
mixer
on
that
Thursday.
That's
always
popular,
that's
free
to
the
community
and
you
know
put
on
your
your
best
dress
and
come
on
down
to
the
you
know:
River
Center,
that
couplings
and
Pearls
committee.
Let
me
brag
on
them.
A
little
bit,
they've
been
doing
a
fantastic
job
as
well
yeah,
keeping
this
going
and
lining
up
special
guests
and
and
so
forth.
A
B
Yeah,
you
know
exchanging
exchanging
business
cards
and,
like
you
say,
meeting
folks
that
you
haven't
seen
in
in
years
and
meeting
new
folks
as
well,
making
new
friends
the
Friday.
Of
course,
we've
got
the
event
there.
That's
the
mainly
where
we
honor
the
presidents
of
both
colleges-
and
you
know
most
of
that.
Some
of
that
is
is
a
a
private
Affair,
but
the
alumni
will
be
there
having
a
great
time
and
getting
to
meet
our
presidents
and
our
and
our
first
ladies
yeah
Saturday
morning.
B
B
We
have
not
had
the
parade
in
a
couple
years,
but
it's
coming
back
now:
I
hate
our
friend
and
colleague,
Robert
Anderson
is
not
here
to
witness
it.
He
was.
He
was
the
backbone
of
that
parade
and
he
was
a
backbone
of
a
lot
of
things
here
in
Muskogee,
County
and
Columbus
absolutely
and
we
saw
the
missing,
but
we
will
do
a
lot
of
things
I'm
sure
in
his
honor.
B
Even
if
we
just
do
it
personally,
he's
just
to
you
know,
commemorate
him
and
to
recognize
him
and
all
the
great
work
he
did
in
his
32
years.
With
the.
B
And
so
the
game
is
two
o'clock:
P.M
Saturday
November
5th,
both
teams
this
year,
coming
in
with
impressive
records
matter
of
fact
that
last
check,
Fort
Valley
was
undefeated,
which
is
rare
at
this
point
in
the
season,
Auburn
state
had
one
loss,
I
think
they
were
four
and
one
they
are
still
going
to
be
the
favorite
in
this
classic,
because
they're
the
last
few
years
have
been
the
stronger
football
team,
so
we're
just
looking
for
and
anticipating
a
knock
down
drag
out.
B
If
you,
if
you
will,
which
is
which
is
what
it
always
is,
even
though
one
may
be
favored
over
the
other
is
going
to
be
a
highly
competitive
matchup.
You.
A
B
Show,
oh,
the
halftime
show
is
dynamic
and,
and
the
the
youngsters
give
it
their
all
and
on
those
halftime
shows
even
marching
into
the
stadium
and
out
of
the
stadium
they
give
it
they
give
it
their
all,
because
it's
all
about
being
competitive
and
all
about
you
know
showing
what
you
know
when
it
comes
to
you
know,
you
know
what
you
can
do
on
the
Banfield
or
the
football
field,
all
right.
B
A
Doesn't
just
touch
on
just
the
camaraderie
and
the
family
and
the
Brotherhood.
You
know
just
on
Saturday
alone,
starting
off
with
the
parade
and
that's
always
been
a
thing.
Even
when
I
was
a
kid
you
would
get
up,
you
would
go
downtown
or
go
uptown.
Oh
yeah
go
to
the
parade,
see
all
the
bands
see
all
the
floats,
then
you
go
to
the
the
Civic
Center
and
you
can
get
so
much
good
food,
so
many
good
people,
whether
you
people
doing
the
tailgate
and
all
the
tents
up,
but
you
go
into
the
game.
A
B
A
B
Area
it
has,
and
of
course,
last
year
you
know
we
were
blessed
to
have
Chris
Tucker
yeah
with
us,
and
he
was
just
all
over
the
place.
It
was
one
of
the
nicest
guys
I've
ever
met,
and
then
you
mentioned
family.
You
know
that's
what
we've
always
tried
to
gear
the
Classic
Tour
to
make
it
a
family
event:
kids,
young
and
old-
can
come
down
and
just
bring
the
kids
with
them
and
and
just
enjoy
and
have
a
good,
safe
time.
B
Interstate
weekend
well,
we've
always
had
fantastic
security,
led
by
officer
Warner,
Barker,
right
yeah,
and
she
just
has
always
just
done
a
fantastic
job
and
covering
all
the
all
the
eyes
and
and
dotting
all
the
eyes
and
doing
what
she
needs
to
do
to
keep
everybody
safe
down
there.
Where.
B
I
would
advise
you
to
go
on
fountaincityclassic.com
they'll
have
they'll,
have
a
rundown
of
all
of
our
events.
They'll
have
information
on
where
you
can
purchase
your
tickets
and
just
a
wealth
of
information
concerning
vendors
and
tailgating
as
well.
You
know
a
lot
of
people
interested
in
the
tailgating
right.
Those
people
have
now
started
to
tailgate
and
then
come
into
the
game.
So
we're
happy
to
see
that,
because
it's
not
just
about
tailgating.
These
two
teams
in
this
event
goes
toward
Furnishing
scholarships.
A
We
will
see
you
there.
We
will
see
you
at
some
event,
whether
it's
the
service
or
coupling
in
pearls
or
the
parade
or
the
game
or
the
tailgating
or
all
of
them,
because
there
is
something
there.
Multiple
events
for
the
entire
family,
young
or
old,
black
or
white,
which
are
poor,
you're,
going
to
have
fun
you're
going
to
enjoy
yourself
you're,
going
to
feel
like
a
real
great
citizen
of.
