A
A
A
The
restaurants,
the
boat
of
the
race,
says
the
events,
a
lot
of
family-oriented
activities,
which
of
course,
are
going
to
bring
a
lot
of
people
down
to
Columbus,
which
gives
us
a
great
big
city
problem,
and
that
is
parking
not
necessarily
a
problem,
but
it
is
an
issue
that
some
people
still
have
questions
about.
Some
people
wonder
about,
and
some
people
complain
about,
as
with
the
ticketing
and
where
to
park.
So
I'll
help
with
me
the
perfect
person
to
talk
about
this
and
answer
all
of
your
questions.
That's
mr.
B
A
B
A
And
if
you're
in
a
big
city,
it's
not
unusual
to
have
to
park
one
place
and
maybe
have
to
walk
a
couple
of
blocks
or
just
walk
all
day,
sometimes
to
get
to
where
you
need
to
go.
However,
in
Columbus
we're
kind
of
more
used
to
be
able
to
park
and
just
being
right
in
front
of
where
you
are
and
that's
changing
now,.
B
That
is
changing
I'm.
Like
you
mentioned
a
lot
of
larger
cities.
You
know
parking
is
a
its
prime.
You
know
you
have
to
pay
to
park
anywhere
right
that
you
want
to
go
and
you
know
walking
a
block
or
two
blocks
or
even
three
blocks.
Half
a
mile
is
not
something
that
they're
not
used
to
they're
used
to
happen
to
do
that,
but
here
in
Columbus
you
know
we
were
we're
not
as
big
as
as
other
cities,
but
we
we
still
have
options
for
parking
that
are
free,
which
is
which
is
really
good.
B
Parking
is
is
free
all
over
uptown,
so
it
doesn't
cost
a
dime
to
park
wherever
you
want
to
park.
However,
there
are
time
allocations
for
each
block
that
each
citizen,
much-much,
must
know
of
and
be
aware
of,
the
signs
ER
on
ER
on
each
block
and
so
parking
is
free.
However,
it
is
timed,
but
we
do
have
parking
garages
where
citizens
can
park
and
they
don't
have
to
worry
about
the
time.
So
you
have
the
River
Center
parking
garage,
which
is
located
right
on
Broadway
nine,
one,
nine
Broadway.
B
We
have
the
front
Avenue
parking
garage,
which
is
ten
twenty
eight
front
Avenue
it's
on
front
Avenue.
We
also
have
the
bay
Avenue
parking
garage,
there's
a
fee
for
that
one.
It's
two
dollars
and
it's
located
on
twelve
West
12th
Street
for
citizens
to
be
able
to
utilize.
We
also
have
nice
free
parking
lot
as
well,
which
is
right.
A
long
knife
Street
across
from
the
Government
Center
now.
Is
that
one
free
that
one
it
also?
There
is
a
fee
of.
A
A
B
Ake
sure
they're,
aware
of
these.
So
when
we
ticket
a
vehicle,
we
leave
a
a
nice
little
friendly
reminder
a
card
in
the
citation
so
that
this
is
and
not
only
gets
a
citation.
But
they
also
know
how
to
protest
the
citation-
and
they
also
know
where
they
can
find
the
particular
ordinance
pertaining
to
their
violation.
B
So
if
they
have
any
questions,
they
always
have
the
option
of
contacting
our
agency
and
I'll
be
the
one
that
picks
up
or
someone
on
our
team
will
pick
up
and
transfer
them
over
to
me
and
and
I
like
to
inform
people
about
these
violations,
and
you
know
we
were
doing
parking
enforcement
and
uptown,
so
it
was
is
I
would
be.
I
would
encourage
every
citizen
or
visitor
to
to
be
aware
of
these
ordinances
and.
A
B
Absolutely
how
our
parking
enforcement
officers
aren't
just
their
ticket
vehicles.
You
know
we
there
they're
on
there
too,
to
help
citizens
visitors
if
they
have
a
question
about
anything.
Uptown
they're
readily
available
to
answer
any
questions
pertaining
to
to
Uptown
and
also
pertaining
to
parking
enforcement.
So
they
know
all
the
ordinances
they're
able
to
answer
any
questions,
give
any
feedback
or
advice
on
on
parking.
One.
A
Of
the
things,
if
for
anyone
that
lives
or
works
downtown,
would
probably
be
the
most
familiar
with
our,
that
is
the
chalk
that
goes
on
the
tires.
So,
and
it's
long
been
assumed
that
that
means
the
clock
is
ticking.
That's
my
time
for
me
to
walk
out
there
and
check
on
my
car
and
maybe
move
my
car
or
maybe
just
try
to
wipe
off
my
shop.
B
B
You
have
the
real
use
of
that.
The
trunk
is
not
an
indication
for
the
citizens
that
there
been
time
what
that
is,
is
a
tool
for
our
parking
enforcement
officers
to
do
their
jobs,
and
citizens
should
be
aware
of
the
signage
that
I
mentioned.
That
is
on
each
block.
That
tells
them
the
time
allocation,
how
long
they
can
park
and
just
abide
by
that.
So
that
gives
everyone
a
fair
chance
to
work
in
these
locations
and
keep
traffic
flowing
so
that
other
people
can
enjoy
having
the
opportunity
to
park.
B
A
B
Yeah
we
have
a
simple
Pro
protesting
procedure.
The
first
step
would
be
just
to
contact
our
agency
and
then
either
myself
or
someone
on
our
team
will
explain
the
violation
or
try
to
help
come
to
an
understanding
or,
if
there's
a
discrepancy,
then
you
know
we're
able
to
fix
that
as
well.
The
next
step
would
be
just
to
come
to
our
location,
which
is
at
8
1/4
Lynwood
Boulevard,
Columbus
Georgia,
where
a
citizen's,
a
citizen
or
someone
could,
you
know,
talk
to
me
and
you
know
face
to
face
and
then
we'll
figure
out.
B
B
B
Absolutely
and
on
the
citations
that
they
write
it,
it
says
it
towards
the
bottom
of
the
citation
to
protests.
You
must
contact
the
ticketing
agency
so
and
they
have
it
check.
You
know
right
there
for
you,
Columbus
Police
Department
also
has
the
number
on
there.
Seven.
Oh
six,
six,
five,
three:
three:
three:
zero
zero!
So
you.
A
Know
read
your
citation,
don't
just
come
calling
Metro
just
because
you
got
a
citation
because
it's
right
there
on
it
to
tell
you
exactly
what
you
need
to
do
he's
not
gonna
say
that,
because
he's
being
nice,
let
you
know
read
the
citation
so
another
thing
that
people
talk
about
in
this.
In
addition
to
the
chalk
and
some
of
the
other
things
that
you
really
shouldn't
do
while
you're
well.
First
me
back
up:
how
do
you
pay
the
ticket
if
you're
not
gonna
protest
it?
You
know
you
were
in
the
wrong
you
got
caught.
B
Yes,
one
option
is
to
pay
online,
so
that's
the
simplest
option
in
my
pain,
is
to
just
go
to
Columbus
Chennai
or
it
slash,
says
parking
and
then
from
there
it'll
prompt
you
on
how
to
pay
your
citation
online
and
also
a
citizen
should
be
aware
that
they
have
ten
days
to
either
protest
the
citation
or
pay
it
after
that
ten
days
and
there's
a
late
fee
associated
with
the
ticket
as
well.
So
you
can
pay
online
or
you
can
go
to
one
of
our
Dropbox
locations,
which
is
at
five,
ten
tenth
Street.
B
That's
the
Public
Safety
Center
or
at
recorders
court
right
across
the
street.
They
have
drop
boxes
where
you
can
drop
your
payment
off
a
check
or
money
order
in
your
citation
slip
and
then
we'll
come
and
pick
it
up
the
next
day
or
you
could
or
a
citizen
could
come
to
our
location,
which
is
eight
one,
four
Lynwood
Boulevard
and
there
you
can
pay
the
citation
cash
check
or
money
order
or
write
the
citizen
a
receipt
and
the
citation
will
be
taken
care
of
how.
A
B
So
a
regular
most
of
parking
citations
are
forty
dollars,
so
there's
different
prices
for
let's
say
fire
hydrant.
If
you're
parked
in
front
of
a
fire
hydrant
there's
a
higher
fine
for
that.
If
you're
parked
in
a
disabled
parking
zone,
then
there's
a
higher
fine
for
that,
but
they
start
off
at
$40
and
after
the
10
days,
then
it
can
double.
Okay,.
A
B
A
B
One
of
those
things
is
that
vehicles
must
move
to
another
block
or
to
another
space
on
the
opposite
side
of
the
street
within
that
block
to
extend
your
time.
So
many
citizens
aren't
aware
of
that,
but
we're
doing
a
great
job
of
notifying
citizens
and
gain
an
awareness
and
reference
to
that.
So
that
city
ordinance
20-13
point
11
and
you
can
find
that
on
our
website
as
well.
B
So,
for
that
reason
we
enforce
that
you
know
backing
into
parking
spaces
is
prohibited
unless
you're
loading
or
unloading
and
our
officers
do
observe
these
vehicles
that
make
sure
that
they're
loading
and
unloading
as
well
and
be
advised
that
hazard
lights
can
be
used
to
signal
our
parking
enforcement
officers
that
you
are
loading
and
unloading.
So
that's
city,
ordinance,
20,
15,
point
2
and
we
enforce
that,
and
you
know
we
want
to
gain
awareness
on
that
as
well.
Also,
we
want
to
make
sure
that
citizens
aware
that
vehicles
must
be
partnering
between
to
limit
lines.
B
A
B
A
B
Yes,
we
want
to
definitely
promote
the
option
to
park
and
ride
public
transportation,
so
in
the
near
future,
you'll
see
some
signs
that
are
gonna.
Let
citizens
know
hey.
This
is
a
location
where
you
can
park
and
not
very
far.
You
can
also
get
on
get
on
metros
buses
and
write
one
of
the
routes
to
various
places
around
Columbus,
so
there's
gonna
be
some
Park
and
Ride
locations
at
the
River
Center
parking
garage.
B
A
Make
sure
you
go
to
Uptown
experience
all
the
great
activities
and
restaurants
and
events
they
have
to
offer
and
we're
going
to
make
sure
that
everybody
parks
safe
and
carefully,
and
everybody
has
a
chance
to
enjoy
the
transit
and
the
great
stuff
that
we
have
in
Uptown
Columbus
thanks
for
watching.
This
is
Columbus
connections.
