A
Hello,
welcome
to
another
program
of
focus
on
health
and
Mike
always
wants
me
to
do
a
cheesy.
You
know
why
that
is
so
that
you
keep
looking
at
the
TV,
so
you
won't
go
anywhere
after
the
commercial,
but
I'm
gonna
give
you
a
hint
my
next
guess:
I
haven't
had
it
on
for
a
while,
so
came
to
church,
and
he
gave
such
a
good
talk.
The
church
has
been
wanting
to
come
back
so
you'll
see
who
that
is
at
the
end
of
this
commercial
did.
B
You
know
the
Chattahoochee
River
provides
100
percent
of
the
daily
water
used
by
everyone
who
lives
in
Columbus,
Phoenix,
City
and
Fort
Benning.
Many
of
the
pollutants
originating
from
our
homes,
neighborhoods
parking
lots,
cars
and
construction
sites
are
carried
to
the
Chattahoochee
River
by
stormwater
runoff.
Since
the
statewide
rivers
a
live
watershed
clean
up,
an
educational
project
began
our
local
helped.
The
hootch
cleanup
project
has
had
more
volunteers
and
collected
more
trash
than
any
other
project
in
the
state
of
Georgia.
Now,
that's
something
we
could
be
proud
of.
A
Welcome
back
to
focus
on
health
to
my
right:
I
have
dr.
Stephen
leichter
and
he
went
to
church
with
me
because
he
was
talking
about
a
subject.
That's
near
and
dear.
A
lot
of
y'all
know
to
my
heart,
which
is
diabetes,
now
tell
everyone.
He
is
the
resident
expert.
I,
take
my
sweet
pea,
my
wife,
my
tenderoni
I
take
her
to
him
and
he
was
only
when
I
found
out
what
her
problem
was.
C
Pops
and
could
be
back.
We
have
the
largest
endocrine
diabetes
center
in
the
western
half
of
the
state
of
Georgia
and
that's
in
Brooke
stone,
Center
and
we
have
another
office
full
time
office
in
Newnan.
Georgia
I
know
that
you're
really
busy
where
we
have
right.
We
have
five
endocrinologists
and
five
mid-levels
and
five
diabetes
educators,
two
of
rumah
dietitians.
So
it's
a
busy
operation
but
I'm
excited
to
be
here
today
to
talk
about
not
only
our
Center
but
an
event.
That's
going
to
happen
for
all
of
Columbus
coming
up
starting
next
Monday.
C
C
Also,
what
we
are
going
to
do
is
there
has
been
very
little
public
awareness
programs
about
diabetes
in
this
community
and
working
with
the
city
and
Mayor
Tomlinson
and
volunteers
from
the
Juvenile
Diabetes
Research
Foundation,
and
the
two
hospitals
in
town,
Columbus,
Regional
and
st.
Francis.
We're
going
to
not
just
have
one
event
what
we
are
going
to
do
it
big
pops.
We're
gonna
have
five
events
you
going
for
the
gusto.
That's
right,
we're.
A
A
A
A
I've
asked
Mike
I
know:
Mike
is
going
to
put
to
have
a
list
of
run
a
PSA.
We're
gonna
also
be
going
out
to
some
of
the
radio
stations
and
let
people
know
because
they
really
do
need
to
get
involved
in
these
events
and
support
these
events
here
and
I
know
that
we're
gonna
have
someone
that's
going
to
be
following
you.
A
That's
gonna
be
pretty
much
breaking
these
events
down
and
so
what
we're
going
to
do
now
it
takes
a
little
bit
of
moving
around
and
changing
Mike's
and
all
this
other
kind
of
stuff
and
getting
people
set
up.
But
following
my
good
friend
right
here,
it's
going
to
be
Stacey
boy.
Tell
me
a
little
bit
about
Stacey
before
she
comes
on
mrs.
A
Know
that's
what
I'm
like
I
like
for
parents
or
individuals
who
are
touched
by
something
they're.
Really,
if
you
really,
you
know
common
sense,
tells
you
if
we
really
are
touched
by
something
you
get
involved,
you
you
you,
you
really
get
more.
People
involved
in
so
I'm
really
glad
that
stacy
is
doing
that
and
you're
gonna
meet
Stacy
right
after
this
next
commercial.
B
You

Welcome.
A
E
E
A
Is
buried?
I
have
to
tell
you
a
story
later
on
about
he
and
I
on
how
we
met
and
whatever,
but
he's
a
marvelous
guy,
and
what
I
like
about
me
that
he
does
he
just
calmed
me
down
and
he
is
I
will
tell
everyone.
I
mentioned
it
to
everyone
here,
he's
the
resident
expert
as
far
as
I'm
concerned
when
it
comes
to
diabetes
and
so
I'm,
so
glad
and
I'm,
proud
of
you
being
a
mom
to
just
instead
of
sitting
back
and
crying
and
boo-hooing
you
step
up.
F
E
Have
to
you
have
to
be
an
advocate
for
your
child
and
you
have
to
do
it
at
home.
You
have
to
do
it
when
they're
at
school.
You
pretty
much
have
to
do
it
everywhere
so
and
that's
the
kind
of
support
that
we
get
from
dr.
licker.
He
talks
you
off
the
edge,
supports
you
and
send
you
to,
and
if
he
can't
do
it,
he
sends
you
to
the
people
who
can
so
but.
E
A
F
E
E
E
We
we
couldn't
do
it
without
them,
but
we
also
have
our
huge
sponsor
Mercedes
that
has
really
made
this
tournament.
Wonderful.
They
have
given
every
player
a
wonderful
gift
bag
full
of
great
prizes.
Everyone
who
plays
in
this
tournament
is
actually
going
to
get
a
free
wedge
from
them.
Are
you
serious
seriously
and
then
our
other
big
sponsor
is
Golden's
foundry
and
they
have
donated
4
grills
and
a
fire
pit
closest
to
the
box.
E
E
Say
countries
how
you
countries
has
been
a
wonderful
sponsor
to
JDRF
not
only
through
the
Gulf
recur,
but
every
year
for
the
walk
and
for
other
prizes
and
things
that
we
needed
countries
has
really
stepped
up
to
the
plate
and
just
helped
us
wonderfully
so
they've
been
great
and
then
that
afternoon.
Well
that
let
me
get
back
to
the
actual
golf
tournament,
so
we
have
about
22
teams,
four
man
teams,
okay,.
A
E
E
And
so
we're
really
looking
forward
to
that
thing,
it's
gonna
be
a
great
new
beginning
for
us,
there's
something
we
haven't
done
in
Columbus
before
a
golf
tournament,
so
that'll
be
we're
a
little
nervous
but
excited
I.
Think
at
this
point
there's
nothing
else.
We
can
do
it's
gonna
come
Monday
and
everybody's
gonna
have
a
great
time
that
afternoon
we
have
a
free
event.
The
golf
tournament
is
not
a
free
event,
but
the
that
afternoon
we
have
a
drive
chip
putt
for
the
youth
I.
F
E
We've
had
some
wonderful
sponsors
also
for
that.
The
team
the
game
has
provided
hats
and
launch
has
sponsored
this
event,
because
it
is
free
for
the
participants,
and
we
just
have
some
wonderful
goodie
bags,
full
of
things
that
just
the
community
has
really
come
out
and
just
showered
us
with
with
things
this.
E
A
A
E
A
A
A
E
E
E
A
You
mentioned
something
that
I
do
know
my
wife
and
I.
We
came
at
our
last
duty
station
with
some
for
Lois
watching
and
fantastic
place,
fantastic
people.
What
drew
us
back
to
Columbus
was
that
Columbus
is
full
of
just
a
lot
of
earthy
real
good
down
to
the
earth,
earthy
people
that
give
others
up
when
they
see
a
lead
and
they
know
it.
They
gravitate
like
Jamie.
That's.
E
A
I
want
you
to
pump
up
the
sponsors,
because
even
though
they
don't
want
it,
that's
not,
but
it
does
two
things.
It
does
show
appreciation,
and
then
you
know
what
else
it
does
it
might
stimulate.
Someone
is
watching
this
show
and
say:
well
you
want
to
something.
I
could
do
something
right.
So
please
name
Saint,.
E
Francis
is
a
huge
sponsor
and
there
they've,
just
they've
always
been
a
great
sponsor
to
us
and
then
also
the
WC
Bradley
company,
we're
just
so
thankful
for
all
of
their
help
and
support,
and
just
getting
the
word
out
and
just
I
think
on
this
slide.
It
tells
you
how
to
go
online
and
you
can
reserve
a
spot
and
then
call
the
river
Mill,
and
this
event
is
not
free.
This
event
is
$60
per
person.
Let.
A
G
E
E
A
A
E
E
Okay,
the
first
event
we
have
is
Monday
September
11th,
that's
the
golf
for
a
Cure.
It's
an
8
o'clock,
registration,
9,
3,
shotgun
start
at
the
Country
Club
of
Columbus.
That's
a
Mercedes
sponsored
golf
tournament
and
if
anybody's
ever
played
in
one,
you
know
that
the
big
prize
for
that
is
that
two
players
win
a
trip
to
Torrey
Pines
out
in
California.
If
you
qualify
at
Torrey
Pines,
then
you
also
get
a
trip
to
Augusta
National
which,
as
we
all
know,
is
a
coveted.
E
Awesome,
yes,
and
so,
and
they
just
have
some
wonderful
other
prizes.
So
that's
our
Monday
event
and
then
that
afternoon,
at
4:30
also
September
11th.
We
will
have
a
drive
chip
putt,
which
is
for
high
school
middle
school
golfers
and
they
will
be
at
the
Country
Club
of
Columbus.
Also,
and
then
our
wonderful
sponsors
launch
and
the
game
have
provided
them
with
a
bunch
of
goodies
for
their
bags
and
hopefully
just
a
great
time
that.
E
E
A
D
A
G
G
Next
year,
I'll
be
all
that,
but
he
was
6
when
he
was
diagnosed
very
beginning
of
first
grade
and
it
rocked
our
world
just
say
the
least.
That's
a
big
understanding.
You
don't
you
always
go
to
the
doctor.
Thinking
you
know.
Oh,
it's
gonna
be
nothing.
It's
gonna,
be
nothing
they're.
Just
let's
just
go
real,
quick,
we'll
be
home.
Look
about
E!
You
got
your
plans
made
and
I
walked
into
the
office
and
we
were
over
at
River
town
and
this
sweet
doctor
looked
at
me
and
said:
mom,
don't
stop
for
gas.
G
A
G
F
G
G
A
Cares
that
much
and
I
didn't
say
it
before,
but
I'd
like
to
have
you
and
Stacy
on
because
hearing
firsthand
from
individuals
who
get
a
something,
it's
good
for
our
viewing
audience
to
know
that
yeah.
D
F
D
G
That's
right
and
the
thing
is
a
lot
of
people
do
choose
to
go
to
Atlanta
and
that's
their
choice
and
I
understand
that
choice.
You
have
to
do
what's
right
for
your
family,
but
for
us
I
feel
totally
confident
and
doctor
life
durscher.
He
has.
He
is
open
to
us
anytime,
of
day
of
he's
been
there
for
us
over
the
silliest
things.
A
A
G
Diabetes,
it's
one
of
those
things
you
can't
ever
stop
thinking
about
and
it
takes
a
community
and
I.
Think
that's
why
we're
trying
to
raise
awareness
so
much
it
hey
everyone!
That's
in
contact
with
her
child
like
right
there.
The
nurse
was
trying
to
tell
me
his
blood
sugar
before
lunch.
So
how
much
we
need
to
do
some
and.
A
D
G
G
A
G
A
G
A
G
G
Wings,
but
whatever
they
provide,
will
be
happy
well
sure,
and
it's
nice
of
them
to
step
away.
Yes,
it
is
so
what
this
is
a
BD
on
conference,
a
be
was
a
patient
of
daughter,
leichter's,
who
recently
passed
away,
and
she
was
a
nurse
at
Columbus,
Regional
who's
also
the
sponsor
of
this
event,
and
so
he
wanted
to
honor.
Her
I
mean
he
took
care
of
this
child.
G
There
many
faces
of
her
disease
and
she
unfortunately
did
pass
so
she's
honoring
he's
honoring
her
through
this
conference
and
what
this
is
is
he
has
gotten
too
topical
on
doctors,
one
from
Virginia,
dr.
Daniel,
chars,
us
key
service
key
and
another
dr.
Nikolas
RM
Vento
from
Maryland
I'm.
Sorry,
if
I
said
those
wrong
but
they're
coming
in,
and
what
they're
going
to
talk
about
is
the
advent
of
the
artificial
pancreas
now.
G
G
G
G
A
A
E
G
A
F
G
A
G
G
G
D
G
A
G
G
A
G
A
G
G
G
E
G
Being
in
quotations,
oh,
but
so
that's
our
team.
So
if
you
want
to
give
to
a
social.
A
G
A
A
B
A
To
numbers
yes,
every
day,
you
need
to
let
individual
talk,
because
let
me
tell
you
this
attracted
my
attention
in
nursing,
school
and
people
in
the
community
know.
This
is
a
big
thing.
That's
why
the
doc
and
I
have
hooked
up,
but
diabetes
is
it
attacks
every
organ
system
in
the
body
from
the
eyes
to
the
kidneys,
but
at
the
same
time,
through
education.
G
G
E
G
G
A
B
G
G
A
A
G
A
G
F
G
But
this
Abby
Dion
conference
will
be
very
neat
that
is
Thursday
September
28th
at
7
o'clock
come
out.
You
may
know
somebody
you
can
help
share.
You
can
help
spread
that
word
about
the
artificial
pancreas
come
get
some
snacks
from
V
Merrill's
and
then
the
walk,
Saturday,
September,
30th
8
o'clock
come
check
in
nine
o'clock.
Walt
stay
with
Rudy
Allen
and
let's
celebrate
and
have
a
good
time
and.
A
A
A
Going
to
the
churches,
look,
you
guys
stay
six
out
of
you
over
there.
You
be
sure
to
remind
him,
and
then
I'd
like
to
have
your
on
a
show.
So
he
can
talk
clinically
about
some
things.
Well,
then,
I
would
like
to
have
to
chew
you
let
our
viewing
audience
in
on
a
real
nitty
gritty
when
it
comes
to
managing
it
or
managing
a
child.
