A
Hey
y'all
welcome
to
another
program
on
focus
on
health.
Now
this
is
a
teacher.
You'll
have
to
take
a
little
bit
the
individuals
I
have
on
this
profile.
I
have
not
had
on
in
about
seven
years,
and
I've
only
covered
this
topic.
1
y'all
gonna
have
to
take
a
little
hard
about
that.
You
needed
that
about
maybe
30
seconds.
If
we
run
shoe
commercial,
a
minute,
you
get
the
brain
cells
work
and
see
you
on
the
other
end
of
this
commercial.
All.
B
Of
us
share
responsibility
to
keep
columbus
beautiful.
You
may
not
intend
to
litter,
but
if
you're
not
securing
the
items
in
the
back
of
your
pickup
check,
you
may
be
contributing
to
the
problem.
Please
don't
use
your
truck
bed
as
a
mobile
trash.
Can
it
doesn't
take
much
for
the
debris
to
blow
out
on
our
roadways,
causing
it
unsightly
and
hazardous
mess
law
enforcement
is
out
ticketing
litterbugs.
So
do
your
part
secure
your
load?
Nobody
likes
a
litter
bug.
A
Did
you
figure
it
out
yet?
Well,
while
you
scholars
I
know
it
was
some
over.
You
did
business
on
Draya
Winston,
who
is
the
executive
director
of
New
Horizons
community
service
board
of
the
Susan
Gallagher?
Who
is
the
community
relations
person?
Now,
let
me
just
tell
you
something
now:
andreia
is
she's,
not
gonna
admitted
this
here,
but
a
lot
of
you
have
heard
me
talk
about
that.
I
worked
as
RN
supervisor,
Azula
Rises,
outpatient,
clinic
and
aundrea
was
my
boss.
He
told
everybody.
She
would
tell
me
my,
but
she
was
my
supervisors
force.
A
C
D
Thank
you
again,
I
want
to
reiterate
what
miss
Winston
said
about
this
form
and
letting
us
talk
about
New,
Horizons,
behavioral
health
and
the
services
we
provide
I've
been
with
the
agency
about
15
years
and
again
it's
been
an
opportunity
to
grow
where
you've
been
planted.
I
believe
in
the
mission
of
New
Horizons
of
serving
individuals
with
addictive
mental
health
and
developmental
disability
needs.
We
often
serve
those
who
are
the
least
of
my
brothers,
the
people
that
are
kind
of
forgotten
by
society,
amen
and.
A
So
now
you
all
know
and
I'm
excited
really
excited,
and
they
don't
know
it
will
go
ahead,
admitted
it
to
aundrea
that
this
is
not
going
to
be
the
first
one
is
so
much
you
want
to
find
out.
There's
so
much
that
new
arising
does
I
am
mind,
blown
how
many
people
in
community
when
I
talk
about
new
horizons,
don't
know
all
that
they
offer
trust
me.
A
C
You
need
assistance
with
any
sort
of
behavioral
health
disorder.
We
are
here
and
just
wanted
to
let
you
know
that
we're
nationally
accredited
by
coughs
and
that
we're
here
to
help.
So
if
you
have
anybody
in
your
family,
whether
it
be
adults,
children,
young
children,
need
assistance
with
behavioral
health
issues,
developmental
delays,
substance
abuse
that
we're
here
to
help
and.
A
C
C
I
think
it's
important
to
say
that
we
just
don't
serve
justjust
muscogee
county
and
he's
actually
a
commissioner
with
Clay
County.
So
you
know
we
have
several
areas
of
the
state
that
were
covered
and
I
think
Susan's
going
to
bring
that
up,
but
we're
aboard
very
active
their
representative
from
each
of
the
counties
that
we
serve
and
we
meet
monthly
and
I
am
the
only
employee
of
the
board
so
that
they
are
my
bosses
at
who
I
respond
to.
So
when
I
say
that
to
mean
that
we're
accountable
we're.
A
That's
and
that's
very,
very,
very
important
next
slide.
Please
yeah!
We
got
a
lot
of
stairs
listen.
This
petition
is
licensed
clinical
social
worker
professional
counselors.
Pierce
presses
explain
to
now
that
what
I
like
about
this
program
is
that
there's
some
terminology
that
allows
you
to
understand
talk
a
little
bit
about
peer
specialist,
okay,.
C
C
A
C
Have
a
we're
very
fortunate
that
our
staff
are
very
caring.
This
is
not
a
place
where
you
have
to
be
there
stuff.
Where
you
come,
we
know
that
people
are
hurting
and
they're
suffering.
Our
staff
are
very
warm
and
friendly
and
engaging
and
by
a
recovery
focus
we're
there,
because
we
know
that
you're
suffering
and
we
want
you
to
have
a
better
life.
They.
C
C
A
C
Our
fear
is
also
work
in
tandem
with
the
residential
specialist
and
they're.
Actually,
in
our
homes,
we
have
several
group
homes
throughout
all
the
counties
that
we
serve.
We
have
homes
for
people
that
have
mental
health
issues.
We
have
homes
for
people
that
have
developmental
delays.
If
you're
experiencing
a
crisis
situation,
we
have
homes
that
we
can
bring
you
into
for
the
short
term.
Perhaps
that's
a
few
nights
to
get
you
back
on
your
meds,
get
you
stabilized,
perhaps
you're
struggling
with
addiction.
C
A
Awesome
you'll
see
why
I'm
joining
this
here,
because
I
trust
me
I
lived
this
here,
but
she
still
I
used
to
drive
to
Clay
County,
yes
indeedy,
to
give
shots,
and
so
so
I
resumed
that
no
arises
definitely
cares
about
the
individuals
under
their
care.
I
can
personally
attest
to
that.
Okay,
let's
go
to
the
next
slide.
Whoo
look
at.
C
All
the
counties
look
at
on
the
torso
and
so
pops
we're
just
like
located
in
muscogee
county,
like
I
said,
although
we
do
serve
the
majority
of
the
people
here
in
muscogee
county,
because
it's
a
bigger
population
area.
But
if
you
look,
we
also
serve
Harris
County
Talbot,
County,
Stewart,
County,
Chattahoochee,
County,
Randolph,
County,
Quitman,
County
and
Clay
County.
So
we
have
presence
in
all
of
those
counties.
If
we
don't
have
a
physical
sight,
there
we're
at
least
there
several
times
a
month
and
what
we
call
a
satellite
location.
C
C
C
This
up
to
say
that
we
do
receive
photos
that
are
called
grant
made
and
that
our
funds
that
are
provided
by
the
state
so
that,
if
you
don't
have
an
insurance
or
an
ability
to
pay,
don't
let
that
stop
you
from
coming
into
services.
We
could
see
if
you
meet
the
requirements
to
receive
some
of
the
state
funded
services
to
get
your
needs,
met
and
I.
A
Like
to
attest,
that
is
because
there
are
many
times
when
I
was
RN,
where
individuals
can.
This
is
what
made
me
really
love
with
a
capital
L
new
horizons,
because
I
was
theirs
I'm,
not
going
by
what
anyone
told
me
I'm
going
by
what
I
actually
experienced
when
individuals
came
in
with
no
other
resources,
someone
who
had
a
mental
challenge
or
individuals
themselves
and
trust
me
I
used
to
sometimes
wonder:
oh,
my
god
is
New
Horizons
going
to
stay
a
food
court.
A
They
I
bet
I,
get
no
funds
from
these
people,
but
they
took
they
gave
optimal
care
to
these
individuals.
And
so
that's
why
I
love
new
horizon.
So
I'ma
go
to
window,
go
to
the
next
slide,
adult
mental
health
clinic
aundrea.
This
is
something
when
I
saw
it
well.
I
said
when
I
called
to
arrange
to
have
you
come
on
the
show
Thank
You
Susan
contacting
embraces
when
I
when
I
hate,
when
I
heard
this
it
wasn't
until
I
sat
down
with
you
that
the
full
impact.
A
C
A
C
A
D
B
Of
my
share
responsibility
to
keep
calm,
this
beautiful,
you
may
not
intend
to
litter,
but
if
you're
not
securing
the
items
in
the
back
of
your
pickup
truck,
you
may
be
contributing
to
the
problem.
Please
don't
use
your
truck
bed
as
a
mobile
trash.
Can
it
doesn't
take
much
for
the
debris
to
blow
out
on
our
roadways,
causing
it
unsightly
and
hazardous
mess
law
enforcement
is
out
ticketing
litterbugs.
So
do
your
part
secure
your
load?
Nobody
likes
the
litterbugs.
Welcome.
A
Back
now,
we're
going
to
give
you
a
load
of
information.
So
what
we're
going
to
do?
I
want
to
hit
on
all
the
services
quickly
on
all
the
services.
Susan's
is
going
to
be
the
tag
team
partners,
the
odds
ratio,
past
appetizer
to
Susan,
and
she
is
going
to
I'm
going
to
mention,
never
mention
something
like
outpatient
services.
A
We
covered
that
when
you
go
to
individual
therapy
and
groups
you're
going
to
do
a
sentence
on
each
one,
but
I
want
it's
very
important
for
each
of
you
at
home,
who
are
late
person
to
understand
what
these.
What
these
terms
are
monkeys
are
because
you'll
never
know
what
they
are
unless
you
have
understanding.
A
Secondly,
I'm
going
to
say
before
we
start:
if
you
have
a
question,
we're
going
to
have
Susan
and
aundrea
look
into
this
camera
right
here
and
give
you
the
contact
information,
so
you
can
call
you
can
see
what
the
service
is
on
the
screen.
So,
if
you
don't
know,
you
could
call
go
I'll
pass
to
Susan
you're
on,
let's
go
with
individual
therapy
and
group
therapy.
Well,.
D
These
are
part
of
our
mental
health
services,
the
individual
and
group
therapy.
Those
are
offered
by
licensed
professional
therapists
in
an
individual
setting,
which
is
a
one-on-one
with
the
therapist
or
in
a
group
setting
which
could
be
up
to
10
or
12
individuals
with
the
therapist
as
the
moderator
for
the.
D
D
Have
a
program
called
better
life,
which
is
located
on
Second
Avenue,
which
has
a
physical
health
care
to
individuals
with
severe
persistent
mental
illness?
Have
a
life
span?
That's
about
20
years,
less
than
the
general
population,
so
we
try
to
take
care
of
the
health
needs
of
our
individuals.
Also,
psychosocial.
C
D
D
Is
one
of
our
more
recent
programs
that
we've
added
I
think
it's
about
two
years
old
sky
club
house?
It's
a
after-school
programs
for
children
with
a
diagnosed
behavioral
health
needs
and
it's
offered
in
a
fun
clubhouse
setting
on
the
children
get
tutoring.
The
children
have
play
activities,
there's
a
music
room
there
and
in
game
room,
but
they
also
get
the
therapeutic
interventions.
They
need.
D
D
D
B
D
Adult
support
services
is
another
one
of
our
more
recent
programs.
It
falls
under
our
generation
next
program,
which
is
for
young
adults
aged
16
to
26,
with
mental
health
needs,
and
for
these
individuals
we
help
them
with
their
daily
life
skills.
How
to
do
laundry,
how
to
cook
and
help
them
get
into
an
apartment
on
their
own
and
provide
case
management
services
and
visit
them
to
make
sure
that
they're
living
well
with
next.
A
D
Housing
voucher
program
is
administered
in
conjunction
with
the
Georgia
Department
of
Behavioral
Health
in
our
region,
six
offices.
We
have
individuals
that
come
in
and
can,
if
they
have
income,
they
can
apply
for
the
program
and
the
Georgia
housing
voucher
program
helps
them
with
their
rental
and
we'll
cover
their
rents
as
long
as
they're
in
the
program,
but
they
have
to
have
a
diagnosis
of
your
persistent
mental
illness.
Social.
D
Loser
for
individuals
with
a
diagnosed
severe
persistent
mental
illness.
We
help
place
individuals
in
group
homes.
The
group
homes
are
not
necessarily
operated
by
New
Horizons,
but
we
have
case
managers
that
go
to
the
group
home
to
they're
receiving
the
care
and
services
that
are
up
to
our
level
of.
A
A
D
B
D
Have
shelter
plus
care
programs
which
are
funded
through
HUD
and
the
Department
of
Community
Affairs
were
individuals
with
a
disability
of
substance
abuse
mental
health
disability
receive
assistance
with
funding
and
utilities.
They
have
to
pay
thirty
percent
of
their
income
towards
the
units
that
they
live
in.
We
provide
housing
supports
to
help
them
find
an
apartment,
and
then
we
provide
case
management
to
ensure
that
they
have
it
be
compensated
they're
taking
their
medication.
There.
D
A
D
D
Awed
well,
in
order
to
help
people
you
have
to
know
where
the
needs
are
through
our
residential
and
Housing
Services.
We
go
where
the
individuals
are,
who
need
our
support.
The
path
program
actually
sends
teams
out
onto
the
streets
to
help
find
homeless
individuals
who
are
ready
to
make
that
change
and
move
into
a
house
environment.
We
have
project
veterans
where
we
go
now.
A
A
D
A
A
thousand
copies
I
know
what
it
is,
because
a
lot
of
times
individuals
did
not
realize
that
they
that
they
were
diagnosed
with
a
mental
illness.
They
might
have
had
behavior
that
they
couldn't
account
for
so
I
think
this
is
a
good
thing,
did
not
know
it
till
now,
but
you
got
my
adrenaline
phone
because
I
think
it's
a.
D
Homeless
Connect
is
an
annual
event.
We
do
at
the
end
of
the
head
required
point
in
time
count
and
it's
an
opportunity
to
bring
social
service
providers
in
connection
with
the
homeless
individuals
who
we
counted
during
that
week
and
we
try
to
connect
them
there
with
additional
service
initiation
for
services
a
lot
of
times.
Individuals
have
a
hard
time
getting
services
because
they
don't
have
an
ID
card.
With
our
sore
program,
we
have
trained
staff
to
assist
individuals
and
getting
a
copy
of
their
birth
certificate.
Getting
an
ID
call.
A
D
A
D
These
services
are
offered
at
our
Midtown
project
and
intensive
outpatient
services
could
be
five
days
a
week
where
you
come
to
a
group
group
session
individual
sessions.
In
our
intensive
outpatient,
we
use
a
matrix
model,
which
is
an
evidence-based
intervention
that
is
nationally
approved
and
work.
People
through
the
system
and
working
through
the
intervention
to
help
with
their
addictions
and
I.
Want
you
to
know
that
it's
not
just
addiction
to
substances,
but
we
also
have
a
gambling
addiction
program.
I'm.
A
D
This
we
are
very
proud
of
our
journey
to
recovery
program.
It
is
a
program
for
individuals
with
substance
abuse,
they're
not
ready
to
live
on
their
own,
but
they
don't
need
intensive
services
shows
their
house
and
apartments
that
we
have.
Usually
they
have
a
roommate.
We
have
case
management
services
there.
A
Again,
you
have
the
gambling
addiction
services
inside.
Can
we
go
to
the
next
slide?
Please
here
we
go
I'm
looking
at
this
line
here
and
just
what
this
basically
says
is
all
the
things
that
you
cover
in
all
of
the
various
counties.
Yes,
sir,
you
know
and
we're
going
to
just
take
a
slight
break,
so
y'all
can
assimilate
all
this
good
stuff,
throw
on
your
mind
to
it,
because
it's
definitely
lower
mine.
They
had
a
lot
of
this
stuff
when
I
was
there,
but
that
sounds
yeah.
A
B
A
Take
on
the
top
classes
now
needing
to
prepare
for
college.
Welcome
back
I
just
want
to
give
you
all
the
rest.
You
can
rest
up
to
like
leave.
All
that
do
arises
as
Reyes
does
not
be
out
there,
not
my
socks
off
at
all
the
services,
but
I
would
like
for
Andre
to
look
into
that
camera
and
I'd.
Rather,
let
them
know
if
they
have
any
questions,
what
numbers
that
they
can
call,
and
also,
at
the
same
time,
on
where
the
newer
visor
is
located,
sure.

Community
relations
at
new
horizons,
my
number
is
706
596
5517,
if
you'd
like
to
have
me,
come
to
an
event
that
you're
having
a
meeting
organization,
a
church,
I'd
love
to
come
and
talk
about
this
services.
New
Horizons
provides,
if
you
have
a
specific
area
of
services,
love
to
come
talk
about
that
too
again,
706
596,
5517,
we're.
D
Ancillary
services
and
partners,
the
Pops
I,
want
to
go
back
to
our
developmental
disabilities
services,
if
you
don't
mind,
no
sure
Reza
in
them.
In
the
school
system,
children
are
covered
by
IEPs
up
until
age
21.
They
can
stay
in
in
their
school
system,
but
once
a
child
with
a
developmental
disability
graduates.
Where
do
they
go
where
new
horizons
is
there
for
adults
with
intellectual
and
developmental
disabilities?
D
D
To
the
centers,
one
of
the
things
that
I'm
really
proud
of
that
we're
doing
is:
we've
started
a
very
unique
collaboration
with
the
Muscogee
County
service
center
between
the
bo
bartlett
center
of
called
the
state
university,
the
gallery
on
tenth
Street
and
the
columbus
museum.
Where
volunteers
from
the
bo
bartlett
center
and
the
gallery
on
tenth
come
to
our
service
center
in
columbus.
They
facilitate
art
classes
or
group,
and
we're
going
to
have
our
first
art
exhibit
we're
calling
the
program
artistic
ability,
our
first
public
art,
exhibit
on
March.

B
C
And
we
are
there
if
you're,
like
Susan,
said,
if
you're
having
any
sort
of
event,
whether
it
be
in
the
community
church
college,
whatever
we're
on
site
to
provide
free,
confidential,
HIV
testing,
and
we
and
we
do
have
positive
HIV-
is
still
alive
and
well.
If
people
need
to
know
that
we
don't
talk
about
it
a
lot.
But
we
need
to
know
that
I'm.
A
Just
want
to
read
this
a
little
bit
quench
with
time,
some
of
the
things
that
new
advisor
is
involved
in
a
drug
drug
court,
Veterans
Court,
jail
services,
I
think
individuals
from
new
arrivals
coming
in
for
jails,
services,
all
the
time,
womens
treatment
and
recovery
services.
Pharmacy
services,
I
mentioned
HIV
project,
launched
project,
aware
just
for
telemedicine,
which
is
very
important.
I'm
on
this
thing
here,
telemedicine
is
awesome.
Just
take
a
minute
to
talk
about
yeah.
C
C
That
nature,
but
we're
able
to
do
that
and
especially
effective
in
our
rural
area
or
we're
not
able
to
you
know,
have
a
psychiatrist
there
every
day
of
the
week.
But
we
can
put
you
in
a
satellite
location
and
let
you
actually
talk
to
the
psychiatrist's
via
the
television
to
rain
or
the
computer,
monitor
and.
A
C
Again,
we
are
available
and
I
just
wanted
to
stress
pops.
Then
we
have
open
access
walking
so
that
you
don't
have
to
have
an
appointment
to
come
to
New
Horizons.
If
you
come
to
2100
como
avenue
monday
through
friday,
between
8
and
3
30,
we
will
see
you
and
so
the
days
of
having
to
have
an
appointment
or
be
limited
by
that.
Don't
let
that
be
a
barrier
to
you.
If
you
need
help,
please
come
seek
help
and
we're
available
again.
C
A
I
wanted
this
to
get
out
so
that
everyone
would
know
all
that
new
horizons.
If
you
have
any
questions,
please
call
this
is
an
organization
that
is
for
you
or
for
your
loved
ones.
Please
use
the
services.
Yes,
yes,
that
might
convince
to
do
arises.
Yes,
because
before
I
became
pop
bars
before
I
office,
I
worked
at
new
advisors,
know
all
the
things
that
they
do
and
I
know
that
they
are
heart
there
are
hearts,
are
for
the
community
I'm
they're
going
to
be
coming
back.
