A
Hi
welcome
back
to
another
episode
of
focus
on
health,
always
look
forward
to
coming
into
your
living
rooms
and
here's
a
teaser
I
give
every
time
this
person
is
very
familiar
needs.
No
introduction
does
so
much
in
the
community
and
you'll
find
out
who
it
is,
and
everything
I
said,
is
true.
On
the
other
end
of
this
commercial.
A
Welcome
back
to
focus
on
health
and
I
have
Miss
Cheryl
Johnson
Cheryl
average
Johnson
I
don't
mess
that
up,
but
everybody
knows
Cheryl,
that's
right.
Everybody
knows
sure
if
I
hadn't
been
joking
with
her
just
before
the
cavalcade
on
that
would
never
have
happened,
and
so
we
have
Cheryl
on
here
and
Cheryl's
been
on
for
so
many
times.
Everybody
knows
her.
She
does
so
much
in
the
community
from
the
West
Central,
Georgia
cancer,
Coalition
and
I
know.
I,
say
this
all
the
time
to
look
into
this
camera
and
tell
everybody.
But
everybody
already
knows
you.
D
D
Have
tons
of
scheduled
events
going
on,
we
will
start
on
Sunday
the
16th
for
Pink
Sunday,
okay,.
A
D
D
There's
no
one
in
our
community
within
our
13
County
region
should
say:
I
cannot
afford
a
clinical
breast
exam
or
a
mammogram,
because
that's
why
we're
here
so
we
have
partnered
with
John
BMS
Cancer
Center
Dr,
Kenneth
Smith,
that
is
on
Tuesday
and
then
Wednesday.
We
partnered
with
Saint
Francis
breast
surgery
center
with
Dr
Melanie
Crutchfield
Whitten
as
a
partner
to
do
these
particular
events.
No,
now
what
times
are
these?
D
A
D
That
to
them
sure
the
neighbors
helping
neighbors
cancer
assistance
fund
came
about
several
years
ago,
because
there
is
a
need
in
our
community,
and
this
assists
active
patients,
patients
who
are
currently
in
treatment
with
chemo
or
radiation.
It
will
help
with
their
lights,
their
Gas
Utilities,
those
daily
basic
living
expenses.
D
When
life
happens
right
because
there
aren't
savings,
accounts
for
cancer
or
other
illnesses,
if
you
will,
but
we
just
are
there
to
kind
of
step
in
and
help
fill
the
Gap,
because
we
know
sometimes
you're
unable
to
work
or
your
hours
are
reduced,
and
so
we
try
to
step
in
and
help
take
care
of
those
when
life
happens-
and
you
know
that
fund
it's
for
people
that
are
insured
uninsured,
it
doesn't
matter
if
there
is
a
financial
need.
We're
here
to
help.
Okay.
A
And
I
think
that
I
think
something
like
that
is
awesome
because,
unfortunately,
when
you're
on
the
journey,
the
mortgage
doesn't
stop
or
the
rent
does
not
stop
the
phone.
Doesn't
stop
the
lights,
don't
stop!
You
need
to
open
the
refrigerator
to
see
those
videos
in
there.
That's
right
and.
A
I'd
like
for
you
to
talk
about
the
Genesis
of
this
here
because
not
to
put
the
spotlight
I,
know
you're,
not
looking
for
any
of
that,
but
it
lets
people
know,
unfortunately,
with
not
only
the
West
Central
Georgia,
Kansas
Coalition,
but
other
organizations
as
well
when
they
get
funding
from
outside.
Everybody
thinks
well
they're
funded
from
outside,
but
the
funding
is
nowhere
near
as
sufficient
as
it
should
be,
especially
for
this
area
here.
So
would
you
tell
them
how
this
came
about?
D
Several
years
ago,
as
I
said,
there
was
a
family
member,
my
father-in-law
Willie
James
Nathan,
and
we
were
looking
for
resources
in
the
community
and
we
couldn't
find
them,
and
so
God
just
laid
it
on
my
heart
you're
here
in
an
organization.
Why
don't
you
present
it
to
the
board
and
they
took
light
of
it?
Unfortunately,
he
wasn't
able
to
take
part
in
it,
but
it's
for
others.
You
know
others
are
able
to
benefit.
You
know
from
this.
D
This
idea
and
the
community
has
just
been
phenomenal
with
giving
because
100
percent
of
our
funds
of
the
funds
raised
from
the
neighbors
helping
neighbors
cancer
assistance
fund.
It
remains
right
here
in
our
community.
We
raise
funds,
the
funds
go
right
back
out
to
those
cancers,
and
you
know
with
our
funding.
You
know
we
are
so
fortunate.
We
have
excellent
Representatives
at
the
state
level
who
do
keep
us
in
the
budget.
D
There
are
several
other
Regional
coalitions
and
we're
all
in
the
the
the
state
budget,
and
so
those
funds
come
down
and
we're
able
to
take
care
of
the
administrative
and
the
programmatic
kind
of
things,
but
the
neighbors
helping
neighbors
cancer
assistance
fund
fun.
Fundraiser
monies
stays
right
here.
That's
awesome!
Awesome!
Yes,.
D
The
fundraiser
this
is
our
annual
fundraiser.
We
kicked
it
off
a
couple
last
week
with
the
butterfly
release
on
the
8th,
and
you
were
part
of
that.
Thank
you
and
then
the
21st,
as
I
said,
is
the
5K
walk,
run
that
particular
walk
on
fundraiser.
The
money
stays
here
and
then
on
Saturday
we're
going
to
be
exhausted
by
the
end
of
this
week,
but
Saturday
we're
going
to
have
a
pink.
D
People
that
have
little
pooches
or
big
pooches,
who
want
to
maybe
you
know,
dye
them
pink
for
the
month
or
for
the
day
or-
and
we've
had
this
event
several
years
ago,
but
we're
bringing
it
back,
but
there's
a
10
registration
fee
and
they
can
register,
but
we've
partnered
with
fetch
Park,
so
that
particular
Park
is
phenomenal.
It's
amazing
where
the
adult
and
the
pooch
can
come
in,
and
they're
waving,
that
particular
daily
fee
for.
B
D
And
the
funds
will
remain
and
they're
going
to
have
just
there.
There
will
be
a
contest
for
the
best
trick.
The
cutest
pill
Pooch,
as
well
as
the
dress
or
look
alike.
D
So
that's
the
other
and
then
we'll
culminate
on
the
23rd
with
a
Survivor
drive-by,
where,
if
you're
a
Survivor,
if
you
have
a
family
member,
you
can
decorate
the
cars
come
to
Consolidated
Government
gov
the
parking
lot
across
the
street,
we're
going
to
start
there
we'll
go
to
three
through
three
churches
downtown,
and
this
is
in
collaboration
with
our
faith-based
initiative
with
Friendship
Baptist
Church.
We're
also
collaborating
with
First
African
Baptist
church
and
then
we'll
end
up
down
at
4th.
Street
missionary
Vehicles.
That's
us
to
survive
a.
D
D
C
A
C
A
Get
there
I
can't
see
it
where
do
I
go,
I
got
turned
around,
and
so
finally
she
had
to
go.
Have
some
people
out
there
give
me
direction
on
four
quarter
hour
a
season
I
finally
found
it,
and
but
would
you
let
them
know
you're,
because
I'm
going
to
tell
you
sometimes
when
people
are
driving
sure
and
they
may
be
at
my
biggest
location,
for
you
is
right
across
from
Columbus
Clinic.
That's
that.
A
A
D
D
D
A
She
nailed
it
so
I
try
to
tell
it'd
be
individuals
in
the
community.
You
know
we
do
have
a
lot
of
warm
hearted.
People
have
a
lot
of
good
organizations
and
I
tell
organizations
like
Cheryl's.
You
know,
because
Columbus
is
so
warm,
so
many
warm-hearted
people
and
and
many
who
have
never
been
through
anything
but
do
have
a
heart
for
understanding
what
it's
like,
but
as
the
Bible
says
you
receive
not
because
you
ask
not
that's
right,
you
know
everything.
If
it's
scripture
was
it
it's
based.
You
know.
A
The
bottom
line
is
the
fact
that
I
encourage
the
organizations,
the
organizations
that
give
to
this
community
work
hard.
You
know
it
takes
a
lot
to
come
up
with
activities
like
this
here
and
these
activities
are
geared
not
for
Cheryl
Everett
Johnson,
but
it's
for
the
individuals
who
are
on
that
long
and
nowadays
successful
cancer.
Journey
cancer
used
to
be
a
word
that
people
I
remember
back
in
the
day,
it's
got
cancer
right,
it's
it's
nowadays.
A
D
We
go,
we
have,
as
I
said
some
amazing
people
in
our
community,
but
our
sponsors
start
with
the
bikers
battling
cancer
supporting
those
with
cancer
and
we
have
Chick-fil-A.
That's
the
Bradley
Park
Columbus
Park
Crossing
Peachtree
Mall
Midland
and
Phoenix
City
Mall
they're
doing
the
cookies
for
cancer
campaign,
so
people
can
go
and
get
cookies
and
proceeds
will
will
benefit
that
we
have
kinetic
Credit
Union.
We
have
Columbus
firefighters,
Association.
We
have
Philippians
Church
of
God
in
Christ
Barbara
and
Calvin
Thomas.
We
have
John's
Manville
Berkshire
Hathaway
company
over
in
Phoenix
City.
D
We
have
Saint
Francis
breast
surgery
center,
we
have
man
in
company
CPA,
we
have
Hall
Booth
and
Smith
EP
PC
attorneys
at
law.
We
have
ketchup,
the
pink
cab
they're,
one
of
us
sponsors
as
well:
West,
Georgia,
Orthodontics,
Southern,
States,
Bank,
elite
elite,
Andre,
that's
a
Civic
and
social
club,
and
then
we
also
have
Valley
Health
Care.
So
we
are
just
blessed.
A
A
D
Anyone
in
our
community
that
needs
us,
they
know
they
can
call
us
at
706-660-0317.
I
get
phone
calls
Pops
at
night
on
the
weekend,
but
that's
why
God
has
placed
me.
That's.
A
That's
your
ministry,
yes,
that
is
your
ministry
and,
as
I've
said
before
and
I
know,
Cheryl
and,
and
you
know,
I
don't
want
to
feel
comfortable.
This
is
personal
with
her
absolutely
very
personal
and
maybe
one
day
when
we
do
a
show,
because
I
watched
the
last
program
that
we
did
and
I
did
the
same
thing.
Oh
yeah
I
watched
the
last
program.
Why
do
you
think
people
ask
me?
You
said
she
got
all
her
signs
all
over
the
place
and
she
owned
the
cameras.
A
Y'all
have
a
real
good
show,
but
this
is
personal
with
her.
This
is
a
lot
of
people
go
to
work.
This
does
not
work
for
her.
A
lot
of
people
have
a
mission.
This
is
a
personal
mission
with
Cheryl.
A
This
is
personal
here
with
her,
and
so
I
would
encourage
everyone
who
want
to
continue
to
help
her
to
do
the
work
and
she
named
all
the
organizations,
but
guess
what
each
of
you,
if
it's
a
dollar
dollars,
add
up
to
two
two
to
add
up
to
five
five
out
of
up
to
ten
ten
out
of
the
twenty.
So
it's
it's
it's!
A
It's
the
the
love
in
your
heart
really
to
give
and
that's
the
most
important
thing
and
that's
what
I
wanted
to
make
sure
if
you
were
driving
around
you
would
know
where
she's
located
because
she's
difficult
to
locate,
but
once
you
what
you
do
you
think
of
the
Columbus
Clinic
and
you
see
the
Columbus
Clinic
parking
lot.
You
can
enter
right
through
there,
but
she's
on
the
other
side
of
that.
You'll
see
some
offices
there
on
the
front,
but
you
have
to
go
around
the
back
in
order
to
catch.
D
Her
Pops
I
did
want
to
mention
also
our
board
members.
We
have
amazing
board
members,
Mr
Herman,
Lewis
Jr
is
our
board
chair
and
we
have
others,
but
our
staff.
We
are
small,
but
we
do
so
many
things
in
the
community.
Geraldine
Malone
is
the
office
manager
admin
my
left
and
right
hand.
Darla
Spencer
handles
our
screening
program.
Am
we
have
some
Consultants
that
work
with
those
are
contractors
not
Consultants,
but
contractors
Glory,
West
and
smart
works
with
us.
