Description
Safety, Services, & Licenses Committee
Finance Committee Meetings
A
B
F
A
Okay,
thank
you.
Moving
forward,
we
have
committee
business
matters
carried
over
the
first
one.
We
have
is
a
holiday
sales
license
for
cvs
pharmacy
5868.
This
is
the
second
time
that
this
matter
is
continued.
Is
there
anyone
present
from
cvs?
Yes,
okay,
thank
you
I'll.
Ask
you
to
come
forward
in
a
minute,
sir.
Is
there
anyone
online
or
in
the
public
today
to
speak
on
this
matter.
H
Arnold
avenue,
I
came
the
last
time
cbs
did
not
come.
I
presented
a
petition,
as
you
know,
and
photographs
of
the
condition
of
the
parking
lot
since
then
the
parking
lot
they
their
normal
cleanup
has
begun
since
it's
a
spring,
they
did
clean
it
up.
Today,
however,
I
go
over
it
and
there's
trash
all
under
the
bushes
again,
all
in
the
in
the
corners
cigarette
butts
everywhere.
H
I,
though
the
issue
is,
if
I
can
directly
talk
to
the
fellow
from
cvs,
is
that
at
walgreens,
apparently,
their
staff
cleans
up
the
parking
lot
every
morning
they
come
and
they
pick
up
the
trash.
What
happens
at
cvs,
it
appears
is
that
from
october
to
april
there
is
nobody
picking
up
the
parking
lot.
So
the
cumulative
effect
of
the
trash
sits
there
for
months.
So
now
we
have
cleaned
it
up
and
apparently
somebody
will
come.
H
I
don't
know
every
week
or
two
weeks,
I'm
not
sure
how
often,
but
somebody
needs
to
pick
up
the
trash
on
a
daily
basis,
because
it
just
accumulates.
So
I
again
it's
not
as
much
as
it
was
from
the
entire
winter,
but
we
still
have
problems
with
trash
everywhere.
I've
said
before
cvs,
when
we
all
many
of
the
700
neighbors
in
edgewood
who
did
not
want
them
to
build
okay,
we
we
worked
out
a
deal
with
them.
They
said
that
they
would
be
good
neighbors,
that's
one
issue.
H
The
other
issue
is
the
time
we
had.
I
had
spoken
about
this
before
that
they
were
now
open
on
friday
and
saturday
until
11
o'clock,
when
they
made
a
deal
with
us
at
least
a
gentleman's
agreement
that
they
would
do
what
see
what
walgreens
does
across
the
street
and
close
at
10
o'clock
lights
off
by
10
30..
That
was
the
agreement
when
we
went
through
months
of
negotiations
with
them.
Some
of
you
are
involved
in
that
there's
certainly
minutes
from
that.
H
So
I'm
requesting,
as
I
did
the
last
time
with
petitions
that
that
would
continue
now
my
understanding
is
they
told
councilwoman
vargas
that
they
would
close
at
10
o'clock.
That
has
happened
for
the
past
few
weeks,
I'm
hoping
that
continues.
So,
if
I
can,
I
don't
know,
can
I
address
the
person
from
cvs?
Can
somebody
address
them
and
ask
them
about
the
cleaning
of
the
parking
art.
A
G
A
J
I
J-A-R-R-O-D
last
name's
vedic
n-e-d
v-I-d-e-k.
Thank
you.
Yep
address
125
camden
lane
grants
to
rhode
island
yeah,
so
I'm
the
district
leader
I
I'm
in
charge
of
all
the
stores
in
cranston,
warwick
and
providence,
just
the
quick
matter
in
regards
to
the
hours
councilwoman
vargas
got
in
touch
with
our
store
on
march
11th
and
the
following
week,
friday
and
saturday,
we
closed
at
10
o'clock,
so
we
extended
the
expended
the
hours
on
friday
and
saturday
because
of
sales.
They
were
doing
really
well,
so
the
corporate
office
extended
the
hours
of
the
store.
I
L
A
Okay
for
discussion
did
you
want
to
perhaps
address
the
trash
issue?
I
do
thank
you
about
the
hours,
but
the
trash.
I
So,
in
regards
to
the
cleanup
there,
it
has
been
an
issue
I'll
be
the
first
one
to
admit
that
we've
had
issues
keeping
that
area
clean,
especially
with
the
snow
piles.
Once
they
started
melting
down.
We
had
trash
out
everywhere,
so
ten
thousand
stores
very
complicated
to
get
a
company
to
come
out
right
away.
We
have
there's
a
lot
of
red
tape.
We
have
to
go
through,
we
got
it
done.
We
got
the
the
parking
lot
cleaned
up.
I
The
other
thing
that
we're
doing
is
there
is
a
fenced
in
area
that
is
broken.
Currently
I
had
my
team
out
there
today
they
are
going
to
take
care
of
the
fence
scenario
where
the
compactor
is
as
well
as
the
trash,
because
we
noticed
a
lot
of
the
trash
is
coming
out
of
the
fencing
area.
That
is
now
it's
broken,
so
we're
going
to
get
the
fence
sticks
as
well.
That
should
alleviate
a
lot
of
the
trash
coming
out
of
there
into
the
parking
lot.
It's
a
big
parking
lot.
I
A
Okay,
thank
you,
councilwoman
vargas.
Do
you
have
any
questions.
L
I
do
thank
you,
sir.
Yes
thank
you
for
coming
this
evening
and
to
your
point
absolutely
I
did
stop
by
and
I
spoke
to
the
manager-
and
I
spoke
to
the
the
residents
here
this
this
evening
with
us
as
well
just
to
make
sure
that
her
two
concerns
were
obviously
addressed,
one
being
the
trash
and
the
second,
obviously,
as
you
pointed
out
right,
which
was
the
the
hours
and
and
I
have
been
driving
by
and
you
have
been
closing
at
10.
So
I
appreciate
it.
L
I
do
want
to
know
that
anytime,
in
your
case,
a
business
that
has
whether
it's
an
agreement
or
has
a
license
that
is
to
be
closed
at
10
o'clock
or
or
at
a
certain
time,
and
that's
what
we
had
all
agree
on
agreed
upon
hypothetically,
say
here
in
the
city
council
before
my
time
or
so
forth,
should
really
be
respected
and
not
just
arbitrarily
just
say
we're
going
to
open
until
11..
I.
L
You
know,
that's
that's
fine
and
I'm
sure
people
change
and
staff
changes,
but
I
do
want
to
make
sure
that
it's
going
forward
if
ours
do
happen
to
change
again,
please
just
absolutely
reach
out
to
the
to
the
city
and
in
terms
of
the
trash
you
know
obvious
cvs,
a
corporation,
the
size
that
it
that
it
is
should
really
not
have
an
excuse
for
for
trash,
pickup
or
collection,
there's,
actually
an
ordinance
in
place,
I
believe
in
dumpsters
and
a
residential
property
after
x
amount
of
units
has
to
be
collected
at
least
once
a
week.
L
So
you
know
we
all
want
to
make
sure
that
we
live
in
a
clean
area.
Qualify.
Our
quality
of
life
is,
is
is
at
the
level
that
it
should
be
and
no
rodents-
and
it's
just
you
know
it's
just
not
a
nice
thing
to
drive
by
and
see
trash.
So
I'm
hoping
that
that
that
it
does
get
addressed.
I
can
certainly
say
that
you
said
you've
definitely
are
working
on
that.
L
If,
on
my
end,
what
I'd
like
to
do
to
the
committee
is
that
maybe
we
can
bring
bring
cvs
back
within
maybe
two
months
or
so
just
to
kind
of
get
a
sense
as
to
how
the
trash
and
the
beautification
of
that
area
is,
is
going
just
to
make
sure
that
you're
doing
your
due
diligence
in
terms
of
keeping
the
area
clean
and
the
residents
as
well
in
the
surrounding
area
and
in
the
neighborhood
are
also
very
pleased
with
with
with
the
progress,
and
that
is
okay,
all
right.
So.
A
Through
the
attorney
through
legal,
do
we
need
a
motion
to
act?
We
don't
need
a
motion
to
ask
for
them
to
come
back
and
in
two
months
julie.
Can
we
just
ask
that
rose
contact
them.
M
I
well
I
I
think
what
you
should
do
is
if
you
take
the
vote,
if
you're
going
to
approve
it,
I
I
think
you
should
incorporate
it
into
the
motion
and
say
that
you're
going
to
review
it
in
two
months,
give
it
a
date
now
make
it
part
of
the
motion.
I
I
say
that
because
it
seems
if
there
is
a
problem
the
committee
may
want
to
address
it
right
then,
and
there
so
this
way
it's
almost
a
condition
of
the
license.
A
I
A
I
A
My
concern
is
that
I
don't
want
say
you
move
on
and
you
become
the
regional
manager
of
cvs
and
I
I
hope
that
that
happens.
For
you,
the
next
person
that
comes
in
is
not
going
to
get
a
piece
of
paper
from
the
city
telling
them
this.
Unless
we
put
it
on
the
record
and
then
you
know,
the
neighbors
have
to
come
out
again
that
new
person
has
to
come
here
and
it's
a
lot
of
you
know
wasted
time.
So
that's
how
I
personally
feel
about
it
and
it's
not.
A
L
Yes,
I
agree
definitely
with
you
chairwoman,
and
so
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that,
for
the
record
that
cvs
pharmacy
on
on
1776
burst
street
is
number
five.
Eight
six
eight
correct,
because.
A
A
N
O
L
Yeah
so
I
believe
the
agreement
many
years
ago,
probably
from
my
time
being
on
the
council,
there
was
some
sort
of
agreement
that
went
to
probably
an
x
amount
of
time
when
cvs
was
actually
being
built
in
that
neighborhood,
okay
and
so
whether
it
has
sunsetted
or
not.
The
point
is
that
it's
before
us
right
now
to
at
least
10
p.m
or
maximum
10
p.m.
L
So
unless,
but
that's
that's
so
I'm
not
sure
we
would
have
to
come
back
later
to
discuss
that
or
if
that's
two
separate
issues
as
far
as
timing
goes,
but
I
think
right
now.
The
reason
why
you're
here
is
for
the
time
going,
past,
10
and
then
and
then
the
trash.
So
if
you're,
okay
with
it
coming
back
in
two
months,
just
to
kind
of
make
sure
everything
works,
fine
and
then,
if
you
wanted
to
extend
your
hours
and
that's
a
totally
different
scenario,
that's
a
totally
different
process.
C
Thank
you
chairwoman.
I
just
wanted
to
get
some
clarification
because
we're
we're
here
on
their
holiday
sales
license.
So
we're
saying
that
we're
we're
going
to
we'd
like
to
amend
the
motion
so
that
it's
emotionally
approved,
subject
to
cvs
operating
with
the
closing
time
of
10
o'clock
365
days
a
year
as
well
as.
L
I
believe
the
holiday
sale
was
approved
in
march
pending
cvs
coming
in
at
some
point
this
this
evening.
If
the
records
correct
through
the
clerk,
if
that's
is
that
correct.
B
P
L
Think
so
so
at
that
guess
maybe
what
we
did
was
in
ma
in
march
they
came
before
us
for
the
holiday
sale,
because
the
holiday
sale
was,
I
believe,
expiring
at
the
end
of
march,
and
so
what
we
ended
up
saying
was:
let's
do
a
motion
to
approve
on
the
holiday
sale
subject
to
them
coming
in
at
the
next
meeting,
which
would
have
been
last
month
in
maybe
it
was
in
february
last
month,
but
they
didn't
show
up
last
month.
So
now
you
came
in
now
into.
P
B
A
letter
was
sent
to
cvs
after
the
march
meeting
indicating
there
was
no
action
taken
by
the
committee
and
they
were
to
appear
at
the
april
meeting.
So
no
action
was
taken
on
the
holiday
sales.
A
M
C
L
D
B
F
A
A
A
Yes,
okay
before
we
let
amber
speak
I'll,
ask
if
there's
any
members
of
the
public
either
on
zoom
or
in
the
audience
tonight,
who'd
like
to
speak
for
or
against
this.
Q
A
Okay,
we're
now
open
for
discussion
hi
amber
if
you
could
unmute
yourself.
I
just
asked
you
to
explain
a
little
bit
about
your
your
road
race,
so
we
can
vote
on
this
application.
R
Hi,
thank
you
for
having
me,
I'm
not
sure
why
my
face
isn't
showing
up,
but
at
least
you've
got
my
name,
so
the
ragnar
really
is
a
200
mile
relay
starting
in
groton,
connecticut
and
ending
in
quincy
massachusetts.
We
have
several
charity
teams
on
course,
and
we
are
also,
I
think,
I'm
supposed
to.
A
R
Sure
the
ragnar
relay
is
a
200
mile
relay
starting
in
graton,
connecticut
and
ending
in
quincy
massachusetts.
We
have
several
charity
teams
on
course,
and
we
do
benefit
churches,
schools,
charities
and
other
organizations
along
the
way
runners
trickle
through
over
about
an
eight
hour
period,
just
relaying
they
stop
and
and
pick
up
incoming
runners
drop
off
outgoing
runners.
It
takes
about
two
days
and
we
anticipate
them
in
your
community
about
8
p.m.
On
may,
20th
and
they're
out
by
about
2
a.m.
We
the
original
application.
R
I
was
projecting
about
250
teams,
which
is
250
runners.
However,
registration
has
closed
and
we
only
expect
about
160..
So
that's
that's
a
lot
less
impact.
That
means
there
will
be
160
vehicles
going
through
over
that
eight
hour
period.
You
rarely
see
them
generally.
They
blend
in
with
just
normal
everyday
pedestrian
traffic,
which
means
you
guys
will
probably
see
them,
because
I
don't
imagine
you
have
a
lot
of
pedestrians
at,
but
it
we
just
it
connects
the
communities
of.
R
Let's
see
it
would
be
warwick
and
johnston.
However,
we
were
denied
the
permit
in
johnston,
and
so
we
are
looking
to
partner
with
annunciation
greek
orthodox
church
to
just
have
the
runners
picked
up
there
and
driven
through
the
town
of
johnston
to
be
dropped
off
in
north
providence,
where
we
are
permitted,
I
reached
out
to
major
quirk
today
through
email.
You
may
not
be
in.
You
know
it
was
just
this
morning
to
see
if
there's
any
safety
concerns.
Of
course,
that
would
be
pending
approval
from
police.
A
R
R
I
have
lost
the
name
of
high
school
there's
a
high
school
in
warwick,
where
they're
drawing
they're,
picking
up
their
incoming
runner,
dropping
off
their
outgoing
runner
and
then
the
support
vehicles
just
move
along
to
the
church
where
they
will
pick
up
those
runners.
So
the
vehicles
aren't
a
part
of
the
relay
other
than
picking
up
and
dropping
off,
and
so
the
runners
stay
on
sidewalks
and
trails,
sometimes
road
shoulders.
That
wouldn't
be
the
case
in
cranston,
because
there
are
those
sidewalks,
so
yeah.
A
Okay
and
a
map
of
through
the
to
the
clerk,
a
map
has
been
submitted
of
who's,
getting
dropped
off
where
and
if
we
did,
you
say
between
8
pm
and
2
a.m
is
when
we're
gonna
have
runners
in
cranston
running
in
the
dark.
R
Yeah
and
they
are
required
to
our
safety
vests
with
reflective
gear
on
them.
They
have
a
tail
light
and
a
headlight.
We
came
through
in
october
and
exchanged
at
a
school.
However,
that
put
us
crossing
oakland
avenue,
and
I
think
we
have
two
police
detail
there.
We
want
to
avoid
that
at
all
costs,
so
we
won't
be
crossing.
You
know,
I
mean
with
the
police
detail,
of
course,
that
that
helped,
but
if
we
can
avoid
a
crossing
that
requires
details
and
we're
saving
ourselves
a
safety
issue.
F
Sure
do
I
have
a
question
or
you
have
a
question.
I
have
a
question
yeah,
just
just
our
point
of
information
for
what
it's
worth,
I
think
I
saw
them
come
through
last
year
and
cross
oakland
avenue.
It
was
like
eight
o'clock
at
night.
I
was
working
and
there
was
a
police
detail
where
they
crossed
at
the
crosswalk
in
front
of
immaculate
conception.
F
I
think
the
runners
came
off
the
bike
path
across
the
street
and
you
know
they
stopped
traffic
and
it
was
only
for
a
couple
of
minutes
so
just
wanted
to
pass
that
on.
I
remember
seeing
that
myself
for
what
it's
worth
seemed
pretty
everybody
had
best
on.
It
seemed
like
it
was.
It
was
fine.
Thank
you.
A
Okay,
thank
you,
council
president.
Does
anyone
else
on
the
committee
have
any
questions
or
or
comments
from
assad
liar.
L
Councilwoman
vargas,
thank
you
just
to
make
sure
that
I
heard
correctly
there
will
be
a
cranston
police
detail,
or
will
there
not
be.
R
R
Yeah-
and
I
think
I
actually
already
forwarded
that,
if
not,
I
can
get
that
over
to
you
as
well
as
I
can
even
send
a
site
plan
of
the
church.
So
you'll
see
where
the
runners
are
picked
up
and
we
do
have.
We
invite
charities
and
community
members
to
come
and
staff
the
exchange
point.
They
just
show
people
where
to
park
and
mark
off
runners,
and
then
we
give
them
a
monetary
donation
for
that
as
well.
C
F
Yeah
they
usually
hear
they're.
Usually
here,
if
there's
an
objection,
I
mean
we
can
always
amend
the
motion
to
approve
it.
A
pending
review
from
the
police-
and
you
know
any
required
details
that
they
want
to
impose
would
be
part
of
you
know
required
for
part
of
the
license.
Q
Thank
you
jimin.
My
question
is:
how
long
you've
been
doing
this.
R
A
Would
you
like
to
amend
it
to
include
the
the
police.
L
F
A
Okay,
thank
you
so
much.
Sadly,
as
long
as
we
once
we
speak
to
the
police
and
just
get
confirmation
on
everything
you
just
said,
then
you
should
be
all
set.
Okay,
please
feel
free.
Thank.
A
You,
okay
moving
on.
We
have
a
secondhand
life,
our
golden
era
classics.
This
is
a
new
application.
I
have
casey
honran
listed
as
anyone
present
today
representing
thank
you
and
before
I
bring
up
a
representative
from
the
applicant
I'd
ask:
is
there
anyone
in
the
public
on
zoom
or
in
person
today,
who'd
like
to
speak
on
this
matter.
A
S
To
explain:
casey
hanrahan,
695
oakland,
just
a
simple
business,
resale
of
80s
and
90s
ventures,
clothing
and
new
sneakers.
That's
basically
it.
A
Okay,
excellent,
so
I'll
open
up
the
floor
for
questions.
I
have
a
question:
have
you
been
operating
a
business
like
this
before
yeah.
S
Wednesday,
through
sunday,
wednesday,
through
saturday,
11
and
6
and
sunday,
12-5.
L
Great,
thank
you
so
much.
I
do
just
want
to
remind
everyone
yourself
and
everyone
here
in
case.
I
forget
that
the
city
of
granston
does
have
a
ban
on
plastic
bags
just
for
any
new
business
owners,
I'm
even
existing,
just
as
an
fyi
on
on
your
end.
Okay,
thank
you.
E
A
Yes,
okay,
thank
you
and
welcome
to
kristin.
Thank
you.
Next,
we
have
several
mobile
food
establishment
licenses.
First,
we
have
ai
catering
and
vending
llc
dba
alien
ice
cream.
Is
there
anyone
here
in
the
public
to
speak
for
against
this
application,
whether
on
zoom
or
in
person.
F
Chair,
yes,
just
I
assume
you're
getting
the
license
to
cranston
for
the
mulligans
island
events,
exactly
okay,
I'm
I'm
going
to
assume
that's
what
the
next
four
are
for
to
you.
Thank
you.
I'm
all
set.
B
F
A
Guys
next
we
have
everything
and
food
trucking
and
catering
llc.
Is
there
any
public
comment
on
this
application
account.
A
Hi
tina
hi,
can
you
just
give
us
your
our?
Are
you
here
to
comment
on
everything
and
food
truck
and
catering?
Yes,
okay,
could
you
give
us
your
name
and
address
for
the
record.
K
Yep,
it's
christina
and
mark
lemlin
and
it's
49
ada
street
in
providence,
rhode,
island.
A
A
Okay,
now
we're
open
for
discussion.
Okay,
go
ahead,
christina
just
tell
us
a
little
bit
about
your
company
quickly
and
are
you
applying
to
to
the
mulligan
island
food
event.
K
We
are
applying
for
the
mulligans
island
every
friday.
We
are
a
food
trailer.
We
serve
different
types
of
foods,
italian,
american
armenian.
We
do
nothing
fried
nothing
like
that.
We've
done
quite
a
few
events
already,
then
that's
pretty
much
about
it.
That's
pretty
simple!.
C
N
A
Okay,
thank
you.
Good
luck,
christina.
Thank
you,
you're!
Welcome!
Next
we
have
eminem
food
services,
dba
atomic
burger.
Is
there
anyone
here
representing
this
applicant?
Okay?
Is
there
anyone
here
in
the
in
chambers
from
the
public
would
like
to
speak
on
this
application
or
on
zoom,
see
none
on
zoom,
okay,
I'll,
entertain
a
motion.
T
No
we're
looking
forward
to
coming
to
cranston.
This
is
a
first
year
coming
to
mulligan's
island.
So
our
our
burger
we're
a
catering
business
operating
out
of
west
walworth
and
our
food
truck
that
we
operate
is
atomic
burger.
So
it's
burger
concepts
so
we're
looking
forward
to
coming
to
cranston
and
trying
out
the
mulligan's
island
eventhough,
it's
very
successful,
so
we're
looking
forward
to
that.
D
B
T
A
Q
A
Excellent,
thank
you.
Are
you
also
applying
to
be
at
the
mulligans
island?
Yes,
yes,
okay!
Is
there
any
questions
from
the
committee?
N
Nope
we're
a
dessert
and
brunch
food
truck
based
in,
like
the
whole
new
england
area,
was
based
in
providence
for
10
years
and
just
opened.
This
show
store
in
c-conc,
so
we
kind
of
go
both
sides.
F
A
Okay,
thank
you.
Good
luck,
yup
you're
all
set
okay.
Next,
we
have
a
public
entertainment
license.
This
is
for
boston,
on
broad
permission,
to
expand
to
outdoor
entertainment
on
6
11
22
is
anyone
here
representing
bosto,
okay,
and
is
there
any
members
of
the
public
either
on
zoom
or
here
in
person?
That
would
like
to
comment
on
this
application
and
are
you
representing
boss
or
you
want
a
public
comment?
M
A
Any
any
discussion
there
being
none
clerk,
please
take
the
role
when
you
get
there.
A
B
U
I'll,
let
you
know
that
I
whittled
all
the
pictures
down
to
three,
so
we
wouldn't
have
to
go
through
so
many
first
of
all,
we
weren't
even
notified
in
writing
and
we
are
the
directly
behind
the
parking
lot.
We
were
never
notified
a
neighbor
who's
out
of
town
tonight
was
nice
enough
to
tell
us
about
it
and
they
were
going
to
be
here,
but
unfortunately
they
can't
be
in
two
places
at
once.
U
Our
biggest
issue
is
not
only
this
day,
but
it's
the
area
what's
going
on
in
general,
in
our
village,
we
understand
that
everyone's
trying
to
be
neighborly,
but
we
feel
at
this
point
boston
could
be
a
lot
more
neighborly.
When
we
came
before
council
a
few
years
ago,
we
were
told
they
would
have
40
outdoor
seats,
which
they
argued
with
us
that
night
that
they
had
had
outdoor
seating
prior,
which
I
grew
up
in
the
village.
My
husband's
a
plea
was
a
policeman
in
the
village.
There
was
never
outdoor
seating.
U
Before
this
restaurant
they
told
us
we're
going
to
be
40
seats,
there's
60
seats
and
then,
after
the
second
seating.
Now
we
have
the
covert
seating
and
now
pretty
much
next
week
is
in
my
bedroom.
The
first
picture
you're
looking
at
is
what
I
see:
that's
my
driveway
and
where
those
gray
well,
I
guess,
they're,
not
so
colored
there,
but
the
gray
there,
those
bars
that
you
see
cement
blocks
on
the
other
side
of
their
lot.
U
U
M
M
The
event
which
is
taking
place-
this
is
devolving
into
a
sort
of
a
de
facto
show
cause
hearing
I
mean
if
there
are
other
complaints
I
understand,
but
that
has
to
be
taken
up
in
a
different
form
and
in
a
different
manner
than
this.
This
is
a
very
narrow
issue
before
you.
This
is
only
for
one
night,
so
the
comments
really
should
be
directed
toward
that
issue,
and
not
just
the
general
objection
to
what's
going
on
at
boston
on
a
daily
or
nightly
basis.
U
I
understood
thank
you
getting
back
to
the
date
and
question
we've
been
trying
to
reach
out
to
our
council
people,
but
we
haven't
gotten
response
yet
or
we
would
have
had
this
on
the
docket
and
hopefully
had
solved
this
issue
before
this.
This
is
the
first
time
we're
hearing
about
this
happening
on
the
11th,
to
ask
the
neighborhood
to
put
up
with
this
music
and
this
noise,
which
starts
on
gatsby
day
at
7.
00
am
in
the
parking
lot
next
to
them
with
the
balloons.
U
Then
we
have
the
issue
now
they
want
to
be
out
there
till
11
30
at
night.
How
are
we
supposed
to
sleep?
We
have
our
windows
to
close,
we
have
windows
open,
it's
we've
had
to
call
them
for
the
for
the
noise
already
with
on
the
polls,
we're
out
of
control,
and
we
need
help
and
we're
asking
for
help.
The
neighbors
do
not
want
this
event.
U
I
I
don't
know
how
else
I'm
trying
to
be
polite,
I'm
trying
to
be
helpful.
We
have
to
listen
to
all
of
it
and
we're
just
we
don't
want
it.
We
just
don't
want
this
event.
We
have
enough
going
on
in
our
village
between
everything
else,
and
this
just
puts
the
frosting
on
the
cake
when
the
neighborhood
they
want
to
be
there
at
11
30
at
night,
from
five
in
the
afternoon.
B
U
A
I'll
contact
you
I'll
contact,
you
and
your
councilwoman
lamaze
will
contact
you
as
well.
Okay,.
A
B
A
Okay,
I
can't
I
can
ask
the
applicant
that
okay,
thank
you
and
if
there's
no
further
public
comment,
then
I'll
just
entertain
a
motion.
So
we
can
have
comment
amongst
ourselves
and
and
bring
up
the
applicant.
A
A
Okay,
thank
you
and
could?
Could
you
confirm
mr
garino
is
this
for
the
11?
Is
this
for
june
11th,
or
is
this
for
the
10th.
V
A
I
would
just
ask
the
solicitor
if,
if
notice
went
out
to
neighbors
with
the
incorrect
date,
what,
where
does
that
leave
us
now.
M
Well,
I
I
don't
believe
it
would
be
a
an
issue.
Incorrect
date
would
be
an
issue
if
notice
of
this
meeting
were
incorrect,
but
this
seems
to
be
a
de
minimis
change.
It
seems
to
me
that
everything
else
is
identical.
We're
talking
about
a
friday
night,
as
opposed
to
a
saturday
night.
M
M
If
the
committee
feels
that
that
is
appropriate,
I
don't
see
any
legal
impediment,
but
if
the
committee
is
of
a
mind
to
allow
him
to
do
that,
then
do
it
by
by
vote,
so
that
the
motion
would
be
a
motion
to
allow
the
applicant
to
orally
amend
the
application.
You
take
a
vote
on
it.
Assuming
it
passes,
I
don't
see
any
problem
in
terms
of
notice
and
open
meetings.
F
A
Okay,
so
now
we're
on
discussion
for
the
original
motion
just
for
a
different
date
for
the
10th.
Does
anyone
from
the
committee
have
any
questions
councilwoman.
L
Vargas,
thank
you
chairwoman.
I
just
had
a
quick
question
to
maybe
this
our
city
solicitor
is
there.
Are
we
any
type
of
event
or
license
in
this
case?
Entertainment
license.
L
M
The
only
requirements
I'm
aware
of
is
a
site
plan
has
to
be
submitted
and
the
police
notified
other
than
that
public
notice
buying
through
the
normal
process
is
the
only
lawful
notice.
I'm
aware
of
that
needs
to
be
made.
So
no,
it's
not
like
a
zoning
issue
where
everyone
within
200
feet
of
butters
have
to
be
noticed.
Nothing
like
that.
B
The
chair
just
for
notification,
we
did
notify,
we
have
a
400-foot
radius
and
those
residents
were
notified
in
that
400-foot
radius
of
the
hearing.
L
Through
the
through
the
chair,
as
the
solicitor
is
kind
of
giving
a
look
at
that,
actually
this
might
be
part
of
they
may
need
that
document.
It
was
woodbury
or
is
that
the
street
that
the
residents
that
were
here
that
are
that
are
here
this
evening?
Is
that
would
they
be
part
of?
I
would.
L
Thank
you.
Thank
you
so
much
for
that.
It's
probably
how
the
other
neighbor
found
out
about
it.
My
question
to
to
the
applicant
mr
guarino,
I
notice
on
here
that
riding
parking
at
the
scottish
temple.
L
And
so
in
a
shuttle
service
when
you're
picking
up
and
dropping
off,
is
that
in
front
of
basta
is
that
in
the
back
of.
V
Boston,
no,
it
would
be
in
in
the
main
parking
lot
in
boston
and
back
to
the
scottish
rite
temple
and-
and
we
have
a
trolley
that
would
make
that
trip.
L
L
Through
the
dry,
cleaner
parking
lot
right
in
between
the
the
water
and
the
dry
cleaner
area
to
get
into
the
lab.
Okay,
and-
and
that's
that's
in
written
agreement-
correct
that
you
also.
L
Right
correct:
yes,
it
is
an
agreement
as
well
and
at
what
time
I
know
the
events
from
five
you're
you're
requesting
it
from
five
to
11
30.
But
how
long
will
the
shuttles
be
going
for
that
evening?.
L
L
L
V
There
would
be
sets,
and
in
between,
we
would
just
play
music
on
the
speakers,
so
so
yeah
it
wouldn't
be
continuous,
but
it
would.
It
would
begin
around
five
straight
through
yeah.
V
Time
and-
and
I
would
just
note
the
last
time
that
I
appeared
here
to
request
this
was
seven
years
ago
for
our
25th
anniversary,
exact,
same
format
to
a
t-
placement
of
the
tent
everything
that
we're
doing
and
it
was
the
same
hours
and
it
went
off
without
any
issue
we
paid
for
a
detail
to
be
present.
I'm
happy
to
do
that
again.
L
V
No,
no!
No!
No!
It's
for
the
neighborhood,
it's
most
of
the
neighborhood
okay,
it's
it's
for
local
residents
and
friends
of
the
restaurant
no
charge.
I.
L
Mean
I
know
the
250th
gasp
event.
That's
taking
place
the
next
day.
It's
it's,
it's
a
big
event
for
for
us
and
this
entire
and
in
the
state
in
our
country
right.
So
as
far
as
the
burning
of
the
gatsby,
but
in
terms
of
the
parking
in
the
back
yes
on
the
street
on
woodbury
itself,
would
you
place
any
cones
so
that
way,
there
is
no
parking
on
other
people's
property
that,
in
case
there's
an
emergency.
V
L
My
my
other
question
would
be
is,
I
know
it's
from
5
to
11
30..
Would
you
and
there's
some
art
exhibition
as
as?
Well,
I'm
not
sure
exactly
as
far
as
what
my
assumption
our
exhibit
is
you're
putting
are
out.
I
don't
know
if
that's
just
initially.
V
L
Okay,
would
you
consider,
instead
of
having
the
band
play
till
11
30
at
late
at
night,
stop
earlier
and
not
at
11
30?
Given
the
fact
that
there's
I
I
get
it
it's
a
friday
night,
it's
a
day
before
a
huge
celebration,
particularly
in
patuxent
village,
you're
not
doing
this
every
weekend.
But
for
that
night,
would
you
consider
closing
earlier
the
band.
V
The
answer
is
yes,
I
would
again
just
mention
when
we
did
this
seven
years
ago,
it's
very
peaceful.
There
was
no
problem.
The
police
record
would
support
the
same.
L
Okay,
would
you
consider
10
o'clock
versus
band
playing
to
11
30,
I'm
trying
to
figure
out
how
early
like
9
30,
I'm
just
trying
to
get
a.
V
L
Okay,
well,
ideally,
I'd
like
to
at
least
I
know
it's
friday
night.
It's
I'd,
love
to
support
local
businesses
as
well,
but
to
also
work
around
the
neighbors
and
and
making
sure
that
they
can
also
have
some
sort
of
relatively
peace
and
quiet.
L
Although
the
next
day
is
probably
going
to
be
just
as
probably
loud
during
the
daytime
as
well,
given
that
it's
gaspy
and
that
many
of
us
even
march
on
the
parade
and
and
and
everything
else
would
would
you
consider
and
again,
and
I
invite
any
of
if
any
of
the
council
members
also
have
any
suggestions,
even
if
it's
like
10
o'clock
and
play
because
you
close
at
11
anyway
correct
so
even
if
it
goes
banned
to
like
10,
I
don't
think
there
is
an
entertainment
license.
L
I
believe
that's
up
to
us
as
a
committee
to
just
to
to
point
out
the
time
that
we
can
have
a
ban
plateau.
So
even
if
it's
10
10
30,
would
that
be
something
that
you
would
consider
if
we
were
to.
V
Put
a
motion:
yes,
I
could
have
the
band
until
10
30
and
then
just
have
regular
music.
Not
you
know
a
band
actually
playing
live
I'd
be
happy
to
do
that
and
that
would
step
down
the
volume.
I
can't
quantify
that
I
don't
know
what
the
decibels
you
know
or
whatever,
but
but
I
would
commit
to
that-
and
certainly
I've
been
true
to
my
word
anytime.
I've
asked
for
anything
here.
So
what.
L
Okay,
great
I'm
going
to
turn
the
floor
back
to
the
chairwoman
and
listen
to
my
colleagues
here
on
the
council
as
well
and
maybe
we'll
be
able
to
mutually
all
agree
on
something.
A
F
Thank
you,
chair
and
zully
just
to
harp
back
on
this
gentleman's
letter
dating
back
to
2015..
I
think
I
was
the
only
person
on
the
council
then
when
that
got
voted
on
and
if
I
remember
correctly,
sir,
your
25th
anniversary
event
went
off
without
a
problem:
zero.
F
And
it
was
very
successful,
you
know
my
sister
lives
in
your
area
or
in
your
neighborhood.
My
sister
lives
in
your
area.
I
believe
she
might
have
went
to
that,
and
I
think
it
was
a
good
time
had
by
all
I'm
I'm
perfectly
happy
myself
to
support
the
application
tonight
as
presented.
F
I
know
it
does
bring
some
inconvenience
to
the
neighborhood
and
sometimes
but
it
is
a
250th
anniversary
of
gatsby.
I
don't,
I
think,
your
event
on
friday
night
might
be
minuscule
compared
to
what
the
whole
neighborhood
is
going
to
be
celebrating
through
the
whole
weekend.
So
that's
just
my
comment
in
my
two
cents,
so
if
this
does
get
through
tonight,
I
just
want
to
wish
you
good
luck.
Thank
you
very
much.
Q
I
would
like
to
have
you:
I
see
you
are
reading
something
when
I
don't
have
it.
I
really
don't
know
if
we
can
share
this
information.
Yes
to
all
of
us.
Q
So
I
was
like
okay,
so
my
question
so
are
you
are
celebrating
your
anniversary.
V
No,
it's
not
our
anniversary.
It's
the
250th
anniversary
of
the
burning
of
the
gatsby.
It's
a
historic
event
in
the
neighborhood.
It's
celebrated
every
year
this
year
happens
to
be
a
commemorative
year
250th
year.
So
that's
that
was
the
genesis
of
the
event.
V
Q
V
I
have
a
terrible
neighbor.
Yes,
I
am
a
good
neighbor.
My
family
lives
in
that
village.
I
grew
up
in
that
village.
I
employ
people
that
live
in
that
village.
To
to
my
point
from
earlier,
we
have
a
liquor
license
that
ends
at
least
one
hour,
maybe
two
hours
after
we
close
on
a
saturday
night.
I
do
not
maintain
a
party
atmosphere
at
this
restaurant
we're
good
community
members.
We
support
the
gatsby
committee.
We
support
charities
in
the
area.
V
L
Yeah
I
like,
by
virtue
of
emotion
that
I
have
to
do.
I
know
again
going
back
the
applicant
said
it's
from
5
to
11,
30
and
and
he's
trying
to
work
to
accommodate
at
least
the
neighbors.
If
we
can
at
least
have
the
ban
until
10
30,
as
you
said,
and
then
the
music
turned
off
at
you
know,
11
30,
ish
or.
P
L
L
You
know
I
I
I
did
meet
with
the
neighbors
who
are
here
this
evening
last
last
summer
and
I'm
trying
to
really
work
with
with
both
parties.
I
know
that
basta
has
definitely
supported
the
halloween
parade
that
patuxent
village
does
in
association
and
and
everything
else.
L
At
the
same
time,
I'd
say
that
if,
if
you're,
okay
with
the
10
30
and
then
the
band
stopping
at
that
time
and
then
the
music
off
at
11
30.,
so
as
long
as
you
have
a
detailed
cranston
police
officer
there,
I
am
perfectly
fine
with
it
it's
a
huge
celebration
of
again
of
the
gaspi
parade,
particularly
the
next
day,
as
I
said
earlier,
and
as
long
as
the
parking
situation,
as
noted
here
is
agreed
with
scottish
right
as
well
that
you're
doing
your
due
diligence
of
trying
to
make
sure
that
this
works.
L
It's
a
one
time
and
I'd
I'd
be
in
support
of
that.
So
I'm
not
sure
if
that's
probably
a
motion
that
I'd
have
to
do.
C
So
I
just
wanted
to
say
I
think
events
like
this
are
good
for
the
community
and
we
really
shouldn't
be
downplaying
this.
This
event
is
the
250th
anniversary
of
the
american
revolution.
We
were
the
first
shots
fired
here
and
that's
something
to
be
proud
of,
and
it
should
be.
C
It
should
be
celebrated,
and
I
also
want
to
comment
how
I
appreciate
how
you've
conducted
yourself
today,
despite
comments
coming
from
behind
you-
and
I
think
I
would
approve
this,
as
is
I
understand
my
my
colleague-
wanted
to
balance
it
a
little
bit,
but
I
think
it's
it's
a
one
night
thing
he's
asked
until
11
o'clock.
I
think
that
is
and
well
I
believe
the
application
is
11
in
discussion.
It
went
from
10
30
to
10
what
time
is
oh
11
30.
C
D
The
chair,
I
would
support
the
10
30
band,
11,
30,
music,
police,
detail
and
cones
to
avoid
people
parking
where
they
shouldn't
be.
I
would
support
that
tonight.
A
W
Thank
you.
Well,
I'm
not
a
member
of
of
the
committee.
I
do
frequent
protects
it.
You
know
quite
a
bit
and
I
think
that
councilwoman
vargas's
compromise
is
something
that
should
be
met
tonight,
if
possible,
and
appreciate
the
owners
of
boston
willing
to
compromise
blocking
the
road.
Will,
you
know,
help
facilitate
the
parking
problem
for
the
citizens
and
you
can
still
celebrate
the
event
of
course,
so
that
you
know
by
downplaying
the
music
at
a
reasonable
hour.
Just
seems
like
that's
the
right
thing
to
do.
A
Thank
you.
I
just
want
to
comment
before
we
make
the
motion.
I
would
support
this
probably
either
way.
I
think
a
compromise
is
is
good.
If
it's
not
going
to
affect
the
business,
if
it
was,
then
it
probably
wouldn't
be
open
necessarily
to
the
compromise.
A
Every
summer
we
celebrate
st
mary's
feast
and
all
the
neighbors
around
there.
You
know
sacrifice
a
little
bit
because
of
of
the
sound
and
it's
just
for
those
four
or
five
days,
and
we
have
a
big
celebration,
so
I
don't
anticipate.
A
L
Thank
you
and
I'll
put
a
motion
out
for
the
entertainment
license
to
have
a
have.
It
go
from
five
to
ten
thirty,
with
the
live
band
with
the
music
on
the
speaker,
ending
at
11,
30,
detail
officer
and
maybe
a
cones
on
on
on
woodbury
road.
If,
if
possible,.
Q
L
Yeah
we
can
and
adding
the
shuttle
we
drop
off
on
front
on
the
broad
street
side
versus
the
woodbury
area.
V
T
A
A
A
L
Yes,
councilwoman
through
the
chair,
the
more
I'm
thinking
about
it.
I
don't
know
if
we
can
actually
have
a
business
owner
put
a
cone
on
city
street
on
woodbury,
so
perhaps
a
detailed
police
officer
would
be
able
to
I'm
not
sure
if
they'd
be
able
to
kind
of
just
monitor
that
area.
How
do
we
go
about
that.
A
A
D
F
M
Madam
chair,
just
so
the
the
record's
clear
and
I
apologize.
If
I,
if
I
had
this
wrong,
was
the
motion
was
a
motion
to
approve
with
conditions
or
was
it
a
motion
to
amend
the
original
motion
that
was
before
the
committee.
A
A
A
Q
B
D
F
A
O
My
name
is
hank
gunn,
y-a-n,
40
stockholders
crossroad,
so
we
are
bringing
boba
tea
to
cranston.
That's
one
of
the
top
bubba
tea
franchise.
Actually,
it's
called
gancha.
They
have
over
1
650,
stool
and
chris
is
going
to
be
the
first
one
to
have
a
bubble
tv
serving
a
fresh
bubble.
Tea
and
a
waffle.
A
Q
Thank
you.
What
will
we
be
out
of
operation
it'll.
A
F
F
A
A
D
F
A
F
A
Okay.
We
have
some
miscellaneous
information,
it's
for
it's
just
information.
Only
there
is
a
letter
attached
if
anyone
needed
to
to
click
on
their
computers
to
view
or
if
you
printed
it.
One
is
a
temporary
they're
both
for
temporary
outdoor
expansion
of
premises
as
for
gcc
wine
and
beer
garden,
and
that's
a
garden
city
center
and
one
is
for
p
v,
the
pvd
diet
and
that's
at
1033
narragansett
boulevard.
A
A
A
D
D
I'd
like
to
have
a
motion
to
approve
the
prior
minutes
prior
meeting
minutes
so
moved.
Second,
madam
quick,
please
take
the
roll.
F
F
D
D
W
B
C
D
D
J
W
Just
with
respect
to
our
ordinance,
it
is
designated
that,
on
the
monthly
finance
meetings
we
should
hear
from
the
grant
writer
with
respect
to
perspective
prospective
grants
the
status
of
those
in
quarterly
before
the
full
council.
We
are
to
hear
from
the
council
grant
writer
with
respect
to
a
pending
grant
status.
W
I
know
it's
been
a
number
of
months
and
there's
been
a
lot
of
inquiries,
so
it
was
helpful
for
you
to
appear
this
evening
and
at
least
give
us
the
status
of
prospective
grants,
and
anything
else,
you'd
like
to
add,
would
be
great
sure.
J
W
J
It
would
be
my
absolute
pleasure
and
the
handout
this
evening
you
had
in
advance,
so
I'm
sure
you
had
an
opportunity
to
review
it.
I
am
absolutely
delighted
to
share
with
you.
In
a
little
over
a
year,
I
have
been
able
to
secure
745
000
that
has
been
from
rhode,
island
commerce,
for
site
readiness,
rewrite
of
the
comprehensive
plan.
J
Knightsville
gazebo,
rhode,
island
commerce,
take
it
outside
to
benefit
restaurants
and
small
businesses,
rhode
island
foundation,
partnering
with
ccap
for
food
security,
those
constituents
that
you
have
that
food
poverty
is
an
issue
and
the
congressional
cds
grant
for
knightsville
at
300
000.,
so
total
at
745
000.
I
am
absolutely
thrilled,
I'm
just
getting
my
sea
legs.
I
think
there's
going
to
be
a
couple
more
grants
and
we're
going
to
make
a
million
dollars
and
it's
my
understanding.
So
the
return
on
investment
is
here.
J
It's
my
understanding
prior
to
my
appointment,
that
there
was
300
000
that
was
actually
secured
in
grants
over
the
last
three
years.
J
Grants
that
have
been
submitted
and
not
awarded
include
rhode,
island,
gem
for
knightsville
streetscape,
400,
000,
rhode,
island
commerce.
They
have
a
program
called
rhode,
island
rebounds
for
knightsville
gazebo,
295
000.,
and
there
were
two
congressional
community
projects
that
were
submitted
to
congressman
langevin's
office
to
senator
whitehouse
and
senator
reid,
and
I
want
to
thank
the
members
of
the
council
for
actually
signing
on
to
the
letter
of
support
and
advocacy
those
two
projects.
J
One
is
for
the
indoor
shooting
range
and
then
the
bud
long
pool
to
modernize
it
also
submitted
was
the
state
arp
for
the
shooting
range
and
that's
what's
been
submitted
to
date.
Additional
priorities
that
I
continue
to
look
for,
grant
funding
that
have
come
to
my
attention.
The
bike,
path,
crossing
and
friendly
park.
W
We
did
previously
apply
for
a
safer
grant
which
we
did
not
receive.
I
don't
know,
were
you
part
of
that
process,
or
not?
No,
okay,
so
that
predated
here
and
I
understand-
is
it
true
that
those
are
very
difficult
to
obtain.
J
No,
I
have
no,
no,
not
at
all
department
of
justice
homeland
security,
safer
yeah
that
no
it's
not
difficult.
I
don't
know
where
I
don't
know
where
you
would
have
heard
that,
but
no
that's
not
true.
Normally,
when
a
grant
coming
from
that
federal
agency
is
applied
for,
I
will
be
in
communication
with
the
entire
all
four
congressional
members
so
that
they
can
actually
rank
it
as
a
priority.
W
J
Yeah
so
two
things:
please:
what
was
it
submitted
for.
W
Yes,
no,
she
just
clarified
that
for
us,
which
is
helpful,
but
it
was
a
substantial
amount
of
money
that
we
lost
out
on
was
at
least
a
million
dollars,
if
not
maybe
a
million
five,
and
so
as
a
city.
If
there's
a
possibility
of
us
getting
that,
you
know
in
the
next
fiscal
budget
or
as
soon
as
it
would
be
appropriate,
that
would
be
largely
beneficial
yeah.
Absolutely.
J
My
absolute
pleasure,
whoever
gave
you
that
information,
if,
if
there
is
any,
I
don't
have
any
files
that
might
have
been
left
previously.
So
if,
if
you
have
the
submittal
or
if
you
have
information,
how
many
positions,
what
was
the
total
budget
project
description,
it
would
be
enormously
helpful.
If
not,
I
can
I'll
be
more
than
happy
to
reach
out
to
the
chief,
but
I
concur
with
you.
You
have
the
budget.
A
Thank
you
just
to
go
off
of
that.
I
had
recently
found
a
grant
that
I
thought
might
be
good
for
fire
a
smaller
grant,
but
I
found,
while
I
was
you
know,
getting
into
a
whole
online
looking
at
grants,
I
sent
it
our
our
grant
writer
as
well
as
chief
warren.
He
confirmed.
Oh
yes,
that'd
be
something
to
be
interested
in
and
then
now
they're
going
to
work
together.
So
I
hope
that
you
know
you
can
talk
about
the
safer
grant
at
the
same
time.
A
C
Councilman
riley,
thank
you,
council
vice
president,
so
two
things
first,
I
just
wanted
to
get
some
clarification
on
the
rhode,
island,
commerce.
The
comprehensive
plan
major
rewrite
now
is
that
we
had
the
director
in
here
previously.
He
said
that
that's
a
reimbursement
is
that
accurate,
yes,.
J
That
is
accurate.
Yes,
what
other
municipalities
have
done
if
they've
gone
out
to
procurement,
they've
awarded
the
contract,
and
it's
actually,
you
know
it's
reimbursable,
but
we
have
to
first
go
to
procurement
for
it.
Okay,
so
I
would
say
that
you
know
the
sooner
the
better
you
want
to
do
that
in
under
two
years.
C
Okay,
thank
you
and
then.
Secondly,
with
respect
to
the
safer
grant,
I
think
that
highlights
a
nice
example
with
there's
been
kind
of
either
some
duplicity
with
two
people
doing
the
same
thing
or
some
missed
opportunities.
I
just
wanted
to
reach
out
to
the
administration
and
to
make
sure
and
just
kind
of
get
their
confirmation
that
any
grants,
whether
it's
a
fire
department,
whether
it's
administration,
whoever's
doing
it,
that
we
really
loop
in
our
grant
writer
who's.
You
know
an
expert
in
this
and
has
obviously
already
proven
herself.
C
G
Yeah,
I
think,
I
believe,
to
my
knowledge.
Historically,
the
safer
grant
was
applied
for
within
the
fire
department
going
forward.
I
know
that
the
administration,
as
well
as
the
council,
has
been
in
constant
contact
with
with
miss
andosia
and
she's,
been
wonderful
to
work
with,
so
I
I
do
believe
going
forward
when
those
opportunities
arise.
G
Q
Thank
you
good
evening.
Thank
you
for
bringing
this
could.
Q
Yes,
thank
you
for
the
report
and
we
see
there's
really
hope
things
that
can
get
it
done,
but
at
the
same
time
I
would
like
I
say
I
think
I
sent
you
an
email
three
or
four
months
ago
I
haven't
having
any
answer
and
I
don't
hear
you
talk
about
the
requests
I
made.
So
if
you
can
with
a
little
bit,
I
would
appreciate
that.
J
Q
Yes,
it
was
an
email
I
sent
regarding
the
spec
fill
playground.
Q
J
Any
again
I
apologize
when
the
grants
come
in,
I
don't
make
the
decision
on
what
the
priorities
are
that
are
put
in.
We
wanted
to
go
for
the
maximum
amount
of
400
000
for
the
last
recreation
grant
and
that
went
to
knightsville,
but
there
will
be
additional
ones.
First
of
all
I
will
go
and
I
will
see
what
I
didn't
reply
to
and
acknowledge
it
and
it
will
be
on
the
radar.
Q
J
There
it
was
april
22nd
and
senator
whitehouse
and
senator
reid.
I
can't
remember
the
date
it
was
in
the
last
month
and,
and
you
actually
did
a
letter
of
support
everybody
did
so
it
was
in
the
last
month
how
much
it
is.
How
much
was
it
well,
that
was
under
negotiation,
I
put
it
in
for
a
million
and
there
was
support
for
it
and
congressman
langevin's
office
increased
it
from
a
million
to
2.8
million
good
news.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Well,
the
president
gives
me
a
lot
of
pressure.
J
He
wants
me
hunting
for
big
game,
and
but
no
a
lot
of
it
is
knowing
knowing
it's
all
about
relationships
and
councilwoman
mourinho
asked
specifically,
you
know
what
can
we
do?
Have
you
put
in
anything
for
for
bud
long,
and
I
said
yes,
I
said
you
know
what
all
of
you,
if
you
do,
a
letter
of
support,
it's
bipartisan.
J
That
goes
a
long
way
and
I
would
encourage
you,
I
mean
you're,
the
second
largest
city
in
the
state
of
rhode
island.
I
would
encourage
you.
If
you
see
senator
reid,
you
see
senator
whitehouse,
you
see
congressman
langevin,
as
always
be
appreciative
say.
Thank
you.
We
appreciate
you
submitting
it.
We
appreciate
your
advocacy
and
we're
really
hopeful
that
you're
going
to
get
it
funded
and
I
think
we
have
support
there.
F
Just
want
to
follow
up
and,
first
of
all,
miss
anderson.
Thank
you
very
much
we're
almost
at
a
million
dollars.
I
got
like
a
thermometer
in
my
garage
that
I
call
her
in
every
time
you
get
a
new
grant,
so
let's
get
to
that
million
dollars,
because
I
think
that'll
be
great
for
the
city
and
if
you
could
somehow
pull
off
2.8
for
the
but
long
pool,
I
mean
that's
going
to
save
a
lot
of
children,
summers,
future
summers
and
take
a
lot
of
grief
away
from
this
council.
F
So
if
my
fingers
and
toes
are
crossed,
I'm
sure
everybody's
outside
too
that
we
can
get
that
done.
So
that
would
be
wonderful
and,
as
far
as
I'm
concerned,
keep
up
the
great
work
and
keep
trying
to
find
dollars
wherever
you
can.
J
Thank
you.
I
appreciate
the
opportunity
I
love
representing
the
city
of
cranston
I'll,
go
after
any
grant,
no
matter
how
large
and
how
small-
and
I
think,
what's
really
important
for
the
council-
is
to
actually
go
back
and
let
the
constituents
know
that
745
000
was
secured
off
balance
sheet
and
without
taxpayer
dollars.
J
We're
waiting
for
the
next
recreational
grant,
there's
a
possibility,
rhode,
island
commerce
has
a
lot
of
outdoors.
You
know,
take
it
outside,
so
we're
hopeful
they're
going
to
offer
one
for
recreational
facilities
and
we'll
submit
that.
Thank.
D
Okay:
next,
we
have
additional
funding
for
the
rhode
island
tree
council
council
president
poplasquez.
F
We
have
to
save
time
the
ground
tree
council
and
the
cross
alert
system
which
you
just
brought
up.
Obviously,
if
you
all
remember
last
year's
budget,
we
came
to
the
end.
We
didn't
balance,
so
we
put
a
little
bit
of
money
in
and
created
an
extra
council
contingency
account,
and
I
said
that
I
wouldn't
spend
any
money
out
of
it.
Unless
we
agreed
on
it,
it
was
put
away
for
the
bright
box
project
for
the
arts
if
they
went
over.
F
Remember
council
vice
president
brady
put
that
in
there
and
also
if
we
might
have
to
buy
some
equipment
for
the
system
in
here,
we
do
have
a
little
bit
of
funding
left
over.
If
we
wanted
to,
as
a
council,
send
some
money
to
the
ryland
tree
council,
they
had
asked
for
some
more.
I
don't
see
how
in
next
year's
budget,
we
will
be
able
to
do
that.
I
know
it's
a
tight
budget
and
we're
all
going
to
be
looking
for
cuts.
I
imagine
you
know
this
week.
So
that's
why
I
brought
this
to
our
attention.
F
We
can
certainly
try
to
get
one
of
those
cross
alert
systems
purchased
and
installed
in
the
rhode
island
tree
council.
The
additional
funding
we
don't
have
to
do
it
tonight
just
want
to
bring
it
to
everybody's
attention
because
we
do
have
the
budget
later
in
the
week.
D
F
Would
happen
to
the
money
if
we
didn't
use
it,
it
would
just
drop
off
into
the
general
fund
get
used
in
a
light
item.
That's
gone
over
or
dropped
down
into
the
rainy
day
fund,
but
most
likely
the
way
things
have
been
going.
You
know
that
19
000
would
be
used
in
another
item
somewhere
in
the
budget.
Current
budget
that
went
over
so.
C
Yes,
I
just
want
to
kind
of
touch
on
this.
I
think
they're,
both
you
know
very
nice
things
and
I
certainly
don't
oppose
them
when
it
comes
to
the
merit,
but
I
think
these
just
kind
of
came
out
of
left
field
a
couple
of
weeks
ago
and
they
were
mentioned.
I
know
it
was
reported
that
I
had
opposed
these
and
I
certainly
don't
oppose
trees
at
all.
I
like
trees.
I
just
opposed
the
process
that
those
kind
of
getting
thrown
out
there,
especially
when
you
hear
someone's
pet
project
involved
in
that.
C
So
I
think
it
needs
to
be
a
little
more
equitable
and
I
think
perhaps,
if
there's
19
000,
you
divide
it
by
the
six
wards
and
you
let
the
award
person
do
something
nice
in
their
ward
for
their
community
and
then
it's
just
dispersed
throughout
the
entire
community,
not
just
for
one
or
two
things.
That's
just
my
personal
opinion.
Thank
you.
Q
Q
You
know
more
money
for
this
program
and
I
think
it's
it's
a
program
that
is
really
worthy,
so
I
would
be
supporting
to
add
some
money,
not
all,
but
some
like
five
or
ten
thousand
dollars
to
the
tree
program.
A
Thank
you,
council.
Vice
president,
I
also
just
wanted
to
echo
some
of
the
sentiments
that
councilman
riley
did
make.
I
just
wanted
in
a
prior
meeting
where
council
president
brought
these
two
things
up.
I
just
wanted
a
little
bit
more
detail
on
them.
I
don't
think
it's.
You
know
too
much
to
ask
to
give
the
five
thousand
dollars
to
the
tree
council.
A
Grant
requests
can
range
from
2
000
to
10
000
a
match
requirement
of
50
of
the
amount
awarded,
so
perhaps
we'd
end
up
being
a
match
for
that
10
000
and
we
could
double
their
money
because
I
don't
know
if
going
forward,
how
much
money
we
will
have
and
then
I
just
wanted
to
know
more
about
the
cross
alert
system
or,
if
that
you
know,
information
exists
somewhere
how
much
it
costs.
If
there's
different,
maybe
we
could
get
two
for
14
000,
I'm
not
I'm,
not
sure.
I
don't
have
that
kind
of
detail.
A
I
don't
know
if
we
have
to
put
this
out
to
bid
or
how
that
works.
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
we're
getting
the
best
bang
for
our
buck.
I
think
it's
obviously
imperative
and
I
use
the
bike
path.
I
almost
got
hit
on
the
bike
path
with
my
children
by
a
car
two
years
ago,
so
I
think
that
this
is
important,
but
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
we're
getting
you
know
the
best
use
of
our
dollars.
Q
Thank
you
I
I
am
not
in
the
committee,
but
I
have
a
suggestion.
Council
president
for
our,
and
I
want
to
say
thank
you.
We
make
some
progress
of
our
in
you
know
the
cover
up
when
we
give
a
citation,
so
I
would
like
to
have
some
money
for
the
people
to
change
the
paper.
Q
D
To
answer
some
of
those
questions,
we
did
get
two
prices
on
the
cross
alert
systems.
One
was
eighteen
thousand,
the
other
was
fourteen
thousand
and
the
bike
path
goes
through
wards,
two
three,
four
five
and
it
borders
six.
So
the
bright
path
is
a
city
wide
entity,
not
just
one
ward
or
it's
not
one
person's
pet
project.
So
just
so
you
know
we
did
get
two
prices.
W
If
I'm
a
sorry,
I
apologize
I
had
stepped
out,
but
I
just
do
want
to
say
with
respect
to
the
funding
for
the
ryland
tree
council,
as
proposed
by
council
president
paplowskis
at
prior
full
city
council
meeting
and
the
one
cross
alert
system.
I
am
in
favor
of
your
proposal
of
using
the
council
funds
for
those
appropriations.
C
F
E
C
A
I
think
I've
asked
this
before
so
I
apologize
if
I'm
repeating
myself,
but
I'm
just
curious
when
it's-
and
this
might
be
a
question
actually
from
mr
aigo,
if
he's
here,
the
the
reasons
that
we
approve
these
hospitalization
recent
death,
those
are
pretty
clear
and
obvious,
but
I'm
just
asking
in
general
when
something
is
considered
best
interest.
Do
we
have
access
to
that
information
so
that
we
can
also
decide?
You
know,
have
an
idea
of
what
best
interest
means
in
this
in
any
of
these
cases,
not
just
specific
to
these
interest
waivers.
A
Okay,
so
my
question
would
be
this
is
obviously
you
know
I'm
not
trying
to
pick
on
anyone
or
anything,
but
as
we're
going
forward,
and
we
need
you
know
money
for
our
budget
and
we're
going
to
raise
taxes
on
everyone.
We
are
approving.
You
know
waving
the
interest
on
not
paying
taxes
for
some
people
who
it's
supposed
to
be
in
the
best
interest.
I
just
want
to
know
if
we
have
access
to.
F
E
Absolutely
we
can
have
the
the
acting
treasure
send
along
a
more
broad
statement
on
what
the
best
interest
is
for
each
particular
one
that
don't
fall
into
the
other
two
categories.
D
F
President,
just
a
question
to
follow
up
on
councilwoman
ranzuli's
question:
if
we
wanted
to
discuss
or
debate
that
recommendation
or
approval
from
the
task
successor,
would
we
have
to
do
that
in
executive
session?
Because
we
don't
know
what
those
in
those
are?
Do
we
have
the
power
solicitor
radekia
to
change
what
the
tax
successor
said
or
just
say
no
in
general,
or
send
it
back
to
him.
M
It
is
a
good
question
I
would
have
to
I
I
might.
My
instinct
is
saying
executive
session.
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
it
fits
a
category.
I'd
like
to
you
know
just
look
into.
F
M
If
courtesy,
if
it's
isn't
reasonably
foreseeable,
I
think
we'd
be
covered,
I
just
need
to
know
a
little
more
a
little
more.
You
know
meat
and
bones
as
to
what
it
is
and
then
see
if
it
fits
close
meeting
requirements
which
it
probably
does,
but.
F
And
just
to
echo
chair,
I
think
councilwoman
renzoli's
points
are
good
and
I
do
think
they
do
add
up
over
time.
So
anything
we
can
do
to
try
to
save
the
city.
Money
is
good.
Thank
you.
