Description
Past and present city councilmembers and other members of the community are on hand for the opening of the 25-year Cupertino time capsule. Also, items are donated for the 2028 Cupertino time capsule. Recorded September 24 and 25, 2005 at the Cupertino Civic Center Plaza.
A
A
For
just
last
year
the
new
owner
bought
this
Bell
Cole
found
this
box
and
notice
that's
owned
by
the
city
of
Cupertino.
So
give
us
a
call
I
guess
what
we
have
that
back.
That's
why
we
can
have
this
year
to
look
at
what
it
was
in
there
25
years
ago.
Somebody
was
just
asked
me:
maybe
the
mayor
in
1980
was
in
there,
so
we
need
to
pick
a
book
all
right.
A
What
I'm
gonna
do
is
I'm
gonna
invite
the
current
council
members
come
up
here
and
help
us
to
open
it
up
and
then
I'm
gonna
invite
the
former
council
members
come
here,
help
us
to
take
one
at
a
time
and
try
to
describe
what
the
item
is
about
and
then
we'll
display
on
this
table
and
show
the
turns
up.
We're
gonna
move
the
whole
items
all
the
items
over
to
the
history
display
for
the
weekend,
so
people
are
interested.
You
can,
you
know,
go
visit
in
history,
land
of
the
detail,
all
the
items.
A
Price
perishable
and
our
former
mayor
and
Councilman
home
in
central
James
NC.
She
worked
really
hard
to
kids.
Own
sounds
of
women.
Always
head
of
alright.
So
I
know
this
a
lot
here.
We
need
help
from
our
staff.
We
can
your
help
us
and
show
us
how
to
do
yeah
what
causes
good
a
devotee,
but
we
don't
know
it.
We
didn't
we're
gonna
to
open
the
box,
now
really
happy.

M
Okay,
this
is
the
time
capsule
items
and
they
include
the
25th
anniversary
calendar
Cupertino
scene,
25th,
anniversary
edition,
the
Cupertino
scene,
September
issue
anniversary
ribbons
first,
second
and
third
anniversary
parade
in
three
forms:
art
in
the
park
in
free
form.
We
have
art
in
the
community
hall
over
there
this
year,
summer
of
80
parts
and
rack
nowhere
else,
but
Cupertino
achievement
t-shirts,
parade
entry
list,
McClellan
ranch,
Park,
Nature,
Trail,
guide,
city
parks
and
recreation
brochure
and
the
senior
community
dedication
program
thing.
A
A
A
E
L
P
P
This
is
the
safe
care
party,
now
1995
1980
25th
anniversary
parade
second-place
ribbon,
and
this
is
from
Lester
and
Lester
and
it's
some
pictures
of
a
model,
a
fort
used
on
the
Lester
ranches
throughout
Santa
Clara
Valley.
This
truck
was
a
jack-of-all-trades
being
used
for
spraying
in
the
winter
periods
for
applying
insecticide
dust
materials
in
the
spring.
If
I
couldn't
do
any
of
that
now
and
used
to
haul
fruit
in
the
summer
harvest
periods
it
has
now
been
furloughed
is
an
honorary
retirement
through
a
treasured
piece
of
farm
equipment.
P
In
the
25th
city
anniversary,
I
transported
the
safe
in
a
city
parade
and
best,
it
was
a
second-place
ribbon
and
I'm,
assuming
that
was
the
safe
that
we
opened
and
there's
some
pictures
here
of
that
truck,
which
I'm
sure
the
Historical
Foundation
will
just
absolutely
love
to
have.
So
it
looks
like
the
flatbed
truck
that
we
hauled
80
bales
of
hay
in
yesterday
for
the
kids
own
herb,
regn
art
donated
those.
You
probably
all
know
her.
P
P
P
A
P
Q
So
this
this
package
was
donated
by
Berkley
Gilson,
whom
I
don't
know,
but
somebody
there
goes
her
dad
dad
donated
this.
It's
an
old
Cupertino,
Courier
or
several
of
them,
which
I'll
pull
out
a
dedication
of
st.
Joseph
and
a
final
report
on
the
community
fact-finding
Commission
for
mana
Vista
Cupertino.
Q
Some
great
all
Cupertino
couriers
I
think
you'll
have
a
lot
of
fun
looking
those
over
in
history
lane
over
there.
So
now
the
front
page,
there's
a
nice
little
boy
here,
Timothy
Esterbrook,
feeding
a
little
land
which
is
big
news
in
Cupertino
in
those
days
and
then
and
there's
an
article
here
about
the
Cupertino
Lions
Club.
But
I
can't
read
it
because
I'm
a
Rotarian
and
cornerstone
to
be
laid
at
st.
Joseph's
Church
on
April
12th.
Q
A
A
R
Don
we
came
here
in
69
when
mr.
Pelosi
was
on
the
council
and
Don
went
down
to
complain
about
a
projected
ice-skating
rink,
and
they
said,
if
you
have
so
many
opinions,
why
don't
you
apply
for
the
Planning
Commission,
which
he
did
he
served
nine
years,
and
then
he
was
eight
years
on
the
council,
so
we
really
feel
okay.
This
is
from
a
letter
to
the
dancer
college
bill.
Here
are
some
items
that
you
might
find
appropriate.
C
G
A
That's
enough
fun
that
always
hear
all
the
histories,
but
we
run
out
of
time
and
we
can
only
open
like
1/3
an
item
so
the
rest
of
him
we're
going
to
move
over
to
the
history
land
and
was
going
to
display
there
for
both
days
today.
Tomorrow,
you
know
no
I
went
to
my
mayor.
Clock
does
give
a
lot
of
his
speech.
A
K
You
Chris
I,
think
I
can
say
on
behalf
of
our
current
council.
We
are
really
touched.
Today
is
a
great
event.
All
the
great
work
has
been
done
by
the
former
mayors
and
City
Council
into
Cuttino.
We
would
not
have
been
the
way
it
is
now
as
vibrant
and
without
the
great
work
of
the
autumn
bears
and
my
dad
speaking
of
those
mayor's
who
are
not
here
today,
I
want.
K
You
will
share
my
appreciation
for
their
previous
work
and
one
former
mayor
mayor
wall
again,
who
spent
many
years
in
Cupertino,
he
passed
away
last
Sunday
and
he
was
the
one
that
has
a
reserve,
a
mayor
and
put
a
lot
of
great
work
on
behalf
of
the
residents
of
cappuccino
and
then
he
will
be
missed
and
I
wished.
He
was
here
today
to
help
us
keep
celebrating
our
50th
anniversary,
but
all
these
mayors
that
are
here
today
their
presence
saw
a
lot
of
inspirations
for
our
residents.
In
all
of
our
current
council.
K
In
closing,
I
think
it's
not
15
yet
now
we'll
be
looking
for
the
75
anniversary,
which
is
2001,
oh
okay,
and
that
we
would
look
at
the
save.
I
would
like
to
actually
thank
Bob,
Ennis
Jones,
who
contributed
to
save
25
years
ago,
and
it
just
is
a
long
time.
Residents
of
Cupertino
and
Beach
you've
done
a
great
job
and
making
the
contributions
and
look
at
the
same
right
here
and
that
the
same
will
be
continued
to
be
used
for
the
next
50
25,
50
and
100
years.
Thank
you
very
much
for
the
Jones
family.
K
A
Come
back
tomorrow,
2:00
o'clock,
we're
gonna
refill
this
time,
capsule
for
the
next
25
years.
If
you
have
any
items
you
like
to
put
an
end,
bring
it
over
tomorrow
at
2
p.m.
in
the
afternoon,
and
we're
gonna
keep
this
open
until
October
15,
a
real
birthday
when
we're
gonna
have
a
barbecue
at
blackberry,
farm,
I,
hope
everybody
can
come
to
join
us
and
we
review
every
item
before
we
seal
the
safe
and
the
barbecue
ticket
is
for
sale
over
there.
A
A
Hello
now
everybody
good
afternoon,
my
name
is
Chris
Wayne
I'm,
the
current
council,
member
and
I,
will
be
the
emcee
for
this
program,
and
this
program
is
very
exciting.
We're
gonna
put
a
new
time
capsule
together,
it's
called
time,
capsule
2030,
and
this
is
actually
to
continue
from
yesterday
yesterday
afternoon
right
here
we
have
a
chance
to
open
it
up
the
time
capsule
that
this
Cupertino
citizen
put
together
25
years
ago,
and
it
was
quite
interesting
and
we
lost.
Yesterday
we
had
about
more
than
a
dozen
former.
A
They
represent
more
than
20
years,
since
some
of
them
really
represented.
You
know,
being
a
mayor
for
more
than
one
turn
or
one
year
so
important
representative
yesterday
and
dude.
The
time
constraint
would
to
not
oh
look
at
over
every
items
that
we
had
it
from
the
25
years
ago.
We
moved
us
saved
over
to
the
historic
history
land
by
the
kiss
stone
behind
library.
If
you're
interested
stop
by
is
really
interesting.
A
That
really
tells
us
what
the
city
looked
like
25
years
ago,
and
so
I
said
it's
another
exciting
moment
that
will
go
to
rebuild
and
come
capsule
for
2030,
and
we
have
identified
some
of
the
items
that
really
it's
representing
the
city
of
Cupertino
at
the
present
time
is
now
a
day.
We
really
see
that
around,
so
we
would
like
to
we
invited
them
come
forward
and
put
it
into
the
time
capsule
as
well.
We
wanted
to
extend
and
extend
the
vacation
to
the
community.
A
Folks,
if
you
have
any
item,
you
would
like
to
be
part
of
this
time
castle
feel
free
to
bring
it
over
we're
going
to
start
collecting
until
October
15,
our
real
first
day,
which
we're
gonna
have
a
barbecue
at
blackberry
farm
and
that's
why
we're
gonna
steal
that
time
capsule
for
another
25
years
now,
I
would
like
to
invite
my
console
college
some
for
help
me
to
put
together
this
time.
Capsule
now
as
Mary
Patrick
Lach.
A
A
A
N
S
Thank
you
and
welcome
I
hope,
you're
having
a
great
time
here.
This
is
this
event
has
been
put
on
by
so
many
people
and
three
major
organizations,
not
only
the
Chamber
of
Commerce,
the
city
of
Cupertino,
but
the
rotary
of
Cupertino.
Also,
so
we
hope
that
you're,
having
a
great
time,
we've
had
some
great
music,
some
great
community
events
in
the
next
field.
S
Over
and
as
a
celebration
of
that
the
Cupertino
is
a
business
advocate,
and
so
we
support
the
local
business
community
and
we
hope
that
you
will
obviously
shop
here
in
Cupertino
once
you've
fallen
in
love
with
it.
So,
as
a
representative
of
that,
we
are
presenting
the
initiatives,
current
membership
directory,
a
couple
of
newsletters
which
explained
about
what
we
do
and
a
celebration
of
this
wonderful
event
as
well
as
a
current
map,
because,
as
we
know
in
50
years,
Cupertino
will
probably
be
changing
the
game.
S
T
Meredith
McDaniel,
Pennysaver
hi,
everybody.
Isn't
this
a
wonderful
event?
I
am
so
pleased
to
see
everybody
having
a
good
time
and
we've
had
the
honor
of
working
with
the
committee
that
organized
this
event,
which
would
be
the
Cupertino
Rotary
Chamber
of
Commerce
and
the
city
of
Cupertino,
and
during
this
we
were
able
to
develop
a
wonderful
image
for
that
now
and
in
future
use
and
we'd
like
to
contribute
something
to
the
time
capsule,
because
we're
sure
this
will
endure
for
the
next
50
years
or
more.
T
A
You
Chamber
of
Commerce
and
the
penny
saver.
Thank
you.
I
just
want
to
remind
that
every
presenter
here,
since
we
only
have
30
minutes
time,
has
just
wanted
to
be
fairy
what
I
want
to
push
the
the
people
in
later
time,
so
everybody
this
is
kind
of
one
minute
and
sorry,
and
what
we
do
is
when
you
come
out
here.
You
present
that
things
to
one
of
the
council
member
here
on
the
stage
and
then
they
will
help
you
to
put
it
in
the
box
by
the
way
this
box
is,
is
temporarily
box.
A
We
opened
the
safe
yesterday
was
huge,
800
pounds
safe
and
we
moved
the
whole
thing
over
to
the
history
line
and
they're
displaying
their
oh
they're
right
there,
great
they're
right
there.
If
you
didn't
see
it
yesterday,
this
right
there
is
huge
800
pounds
is
saved
and
that
was
donated
by
Beast
Jones.
You
know
we're
gonna
use
the
same
one
for
the
next
25
years.
It's
a
time
capsule,
alright!
So
next
one
I
must
move
on
is
a
cupertino
courier.
Do
we
have
a
Covino
courier
or
Santa
jerking
property,
no
career,
no,
okay!
U
Hi
everybody
I'm,
representing
our
Chinese
language
daily
tomorrow
next
year,
is
going
to
be
our
third
year,
so
that
makes
us
29
years
old
but
I'm
pretty
sure
25
years
ago
we
were
not
there,
but
we
just
want
to
make
sure
and
we're
happy
we're
privileged
them
to
be
one
item
in
the
time
capsule
of
the
city
of
Cupertino,
because
this
city
shares
a
great
great
number
of
our
leadership.
I'm
going
to
City
is
today's
issue.
This
is
our
newspaper
and
on
the
headline
of
the
of
the
others
areas
news
coverage
is
about
yesterday.
N
A
V
A
W
All
right,
thank
you
very
much.
Well,
we
also
have
something
to
add
we
have
in
this
envelope.
We
have
a
copy
of
our
strategic
plan,
and
so
our
newest
one,
that's
gonna,
be
guiding
us
over
the
next
three
years
anyway,
and
so
we
get
people
chance
in
25
years
to
compare
what's
going
on
at
the
school
district
and
then
as
it
as
it
was
now
and.
W
Is
a
commemorative
pin
that
we
made
for
the
opening
of
our
newest
school
Sam,
Lawson
middle
school,
and
it's
a
pin
that
we
gave
to
every
student
and
to
kind
of
acknowledge
that
this
is
the
first
class
to
start
at
Sam,
Lawson,
middle
school
and
just
enough
for
them.
So
it's
a
pin
that
recognizes
the
opening
R
in
school.
So
thank
you
very
much.
W
B
The
Son
of
Sam
Lawson
is
also
tendered
Cupertino,
High
School
Sony,
the
second
piece,
which
is
a
thin
piece
of
paper,
but
it
really
will
give
somebody
in
the
future
a
sense
of
our
hopes
and
dreams
for
our
kids
and
it's
actually
about
our
long-range
plan.
It's
about
our
vision
to
the
long-range
plan
of
our
kids.
We
really
think.
Actually,
we
have
9600
little
time
capsules
in
our
schools
today.
That
will
be
here.
A
Thanks
dr.
Rowley,
thank
you
very
much
all
right.
We
also
invited
the
Anza
College
I
mean
the
dance
aboard
I
guess
but
I
don't
see.
Chester
Brian
Murphy,
oh
great,
dr.,
Brian
Murphy,
come
on
up
I'm
gonna
change
you
a
little
bit.
No
is
a
harder
to
hold
a
mic
and
holding
your
item.
So
why
don't
you
give
that
to
one
of
the
total
member
that
can
help
you
to
hold
it
up
and
you
are
you're
describing
it
in
Vegas.
Thank.
Y
You
I'm
delighted
we
have
a
copy
of
our
award-winning
newspaper,
which
gives
you
some
insight
into
the
daily
life
of
the
students.
We
have
the
history
of
De
Anza
College,
which,
unsurprisingly,
is
also
the
history
of
Cupertino,
and
then
we
have
our
calendar
of
courses
which
will
give
people
25
and
50
years
from
now
an
idea
of
what
people
studied
now
also
I'd
like
to
say,
on
behalf
of
the
college,
we're
very,
very
happy
to
have
participated.
Y
A
You
dr.
Brian
Murphy.
Thank
you.
Alright,
everybody!
When
you
look
at
this
side,
you're
you're
a
said:
the
new
brand
new
building,
that's
a
Cupertino
library,
that's
the
proud
of
the
whole
community
and
also
on
City
cappuccino
now
would
like
to
have
Mary
Anne,
Wallace
dear
represent
need
the
library.
Z
Z
Z
Using
these
days
we
put
in
a
selection
of
the
library
brochures
and
our
self-guided
tour,
and
the
last
item
that
we
put
in
was
a
perk
on
wedge
in
a
little
barcode,
warned
and
because
that's
the
technology
we
have
right
now
to
check
in
and
I'm
sure
it
will
be
very
different
in
25
years.
Thank
you
very
much.
Thank.
A
F
AA
You
for
inviting
the
Sheriff's
Office.
What
we
have
here
is
what
we
have
is
our
fiscal
year
in
report
for
2004-2005
our
statistics
for
the
whole
year
of
2004,
and
then
we
also
have
our
pursuit
policy
in
there.
So
you
can
see
if
we're
in
jets
or
air
cars
or
something
something
different.
We
got
a
patch
in
there
and
all
of
those
who
asked
us
to
put
in
their
parking
sites
and
their
speeding
citations
in
here
don't
take
care
of
it
in
25
years
now,
I'm.
Sorry,
we
couldn't
just
do
that.
C
A
AB
Good
afternoon
my
name
is
Gina
Calley
and
I'm,
representing
the
Santa
Clara
County,
Fire
Department
and
on
behalf
of
fire
chief
Ben
Lopes.
What
we're
providing
today
is
on
that
disk
is
our
business
plan
from
2004
to
the
next
five
years,
which
will
be
take
us
to
2008
and
then
the
handout.
There
is
what
we're
gonna
start
to
produce
every
year
and-
and
it
is
our
customer
service,
overview
and
annual
report,
and
it's
got
basic
statistics
on
response
times
and
the
type
of
public
education
that
we
provide
to
our
community
members
here
in
Cupertino.
AB
And
then
the
last
item
would
like
to
put
in
there
is
our
hug
a
bear
program
and
our
firefighters
hand
these
out.
These
little
bears
out
to
people
in
need
during
emergencies,
so,
whether
it's
a
young
child,
who's
locked
in
a
car
or
if
somebody
a
victim
who
survives
a
house
fire
and
they
have
young
children
or
just
about
anybody-
will
provide
these
in
time
of
need.
So
they
can
take
it
and
hug
it
and
and
move
on.
A
AC
You
very
much
obviously
delighted
to
be
here
and
delighted
you're
all
here
we
have
the
commemorative
hat
it's
on
sale
in
the
lobby.
If
you
want
to
be
a
part
of
history,
you
can
get
one
of
these
also
for
sale.
Here
we
have
the
commemorative
coin
and
an
attractive
little
velvet
bag,
and
so
you
can
keep
that
as
your
memory.
A
couple
of
bookmarks
indicating
how
important
our
library
is
to
us
a
copy
of
the
scene,
which
is
the
monthly
newsletter
that
if
you
live
in
town
you
get
a
copy
of.
AC
A
N
AD
Thank
you
very
much.
The
first
thing
that
were
the
time
capsule
is
the
to
fall.
2005
fall
program.
The
pellet
has-
and
this
is
really
important,
I
hope.
You
know
that
your
city's
Parks
and
Recreation
Department
has
an
amazing
staff.
It
offers
a
wide
array
of
programs
that
really
celebrates
the
social
and
cultural
diversity
of
our
community,
so
7
25
years
from
now.
This
will
be
great
for
people
to
see
what
our
community
was
really
like.
The
second
thing
is
a
September
October
newsletter
from
the
Senior
Center.
AD
Our
Senior
Center
is
a
gem
of
this
city,
we're
so
proud
of
it,
and
this
will
reflect
the
activities
going
on
there
and
finally,
is
a
copy
of
the
Steven
Street
corridor
plan.
This
plan
represents
the
input
of
hundreds
of
Cupertino
residents
to
redevelop
our
one
of
our
most
precious
resources,
the
Stevens
Creek
corridor.
So
on
behalf
of
the
Parks
and
Recreation
Commission,
thank
you
so
much.
A
AE
Hi
I'm
Stephanie
terrine
neighborhood
watch
coordinator
for
the
city
of
Cupertino
and
we're
gonna
be
putting
in
a
window
sign
into
the
box
for
neighborhood
watch,
but
just
to
tell
you
something
real
quick.
We
have
200
neighborhood
watch
programs
in
the
city,
Cupertino
and
150.
You
could
watch
coordinators,
so
we
want
to
work
on
that
number.
Thanks.
V
Stephanie
also
going
in
with
the
SIRT
neighborhood
watch
program
or
certificates
that
we
give
out
for
cert
cares.
Mrc,
eventually
assert
hard
hat
will
be
in
this
box
and
I'm
not
quite
sure
how
this
relates
to
cert.
But
the
search
committee
has
donated
a
25
cent
piece,
the
new
quarter
here
in
California
that
hat
that
has
just
come
out
recently.
So
that's
all
gonna
go
in
the
box.
A
Thank
You
Kelly
all
right.
Well,
many
of
you
already
know
that
we
have
two
very
active
sister
cities.
That's
a
very
our
honor
that
they
sent
a
delegation
to
celebrate
the
Golden
Jubilee
was
s
and
they
also
bring
their
gift.
That
I
have
to
put
it
into
the
time
capsule
to
be
part
of
the
family.
Now
I
like
to
first
welcome
the
delegates
from
toyokawa
sister
city.
AF
AF
Tetsuya
mochima-
and
this
is
our
student
delegation
leader.
Mr.

is
the
principal
of
one
of
the
are
clear
car
junior
high
school
elementary
school,
and
these
two
are
chosen
from
our
City
Hall,
mr.
Yamamoto
and
mr.
Costa,
to
be
a
chaperones
for
the
students
and
I'm
Tony
minor,
and
we
are
very
happy
to
make
this
trip
to
attend
this.

It
is,
it
is
an
original
guide
to
Taiwan
that
tell
us
something
happening
in
Taiwan
in
September
2005
and
the
second
is
a
set
of
Chinese
clays,
classic
color,
graphics,
paintings
of
poetry,
postage
stamps,
yes,
I
got
inside
and
we
have
red
box.
Of
course
it's
not
real
gold
in
our
tradition,
red
and
gold
other
primary
and
unlikely
colors.

AI
Good
afternoon
my
name
is
Marc
McKenna
I'm
part
of
the
president
of
the
Cupertino
Historical
Society
I,
just
got
the
cube
from
the
sidelines.
I
have
to
be
quick,
so
the
only
really
thing
I
want
to
say
is
that
on
Friday
I
bucked
about
80
bales
of
hay
brought
them
down
here.
Stacked
them
up.
We
need
volunteers
at
the
end
day,
so
want
to
see
what
it
was
like
back
in
history.
AI
I'll
show
you,
okay,
our
contribution
to
the
time
capsule
we
conducted
a
poetry
contest,
non-owner
of
nelly
Nakamura,
whose
poem
was
published
in
the
mercury
Herald
back
around
1915
Nelly
is
still
living
and
is
103
years
old.
If
you
have
not
visited
the
booth
on
history
Lane,
please
do
so.
We
have
here
today
her
daughter,
Margaret,
Emma,
Cooper.
AJ
A
graduate
of
San
Jose,
State
College,
but
really
I'm
here
to
honor
my
mother,
Nelly
Nakamura,
who
was
born
in
1913,
and
she
went
to
San
Antonio
school
at
the
bottom
of
the
creek
bed,
Stevens
Creek
and
she
also
went
to
call
on
the
school.
So
if
you
want
to
see
a
picture
of
my
mother-
and
she
was
in
the
eighth
grade-
go
down
history
Lane
there
and
you'll
see
that,
for
that
booth
were
those
wonderful
pictures.
AJ
More
and
I.
Don't
want
to
spend
more
time
here,
but
I
do
want
to
read
her
poem
and
just
keep
in
mind
that
she
was
only
13
when
she
wrote
this
poem
and
her
teacher
thought
it
was
so
great
that
she
sent
it
to
the
set
San
Jose
Mercury
Herald
about
1950.
Remember
she
was
only
13
years
old
and
I
want
to
read
you
this
narcissus
dear
you,
lovely
flower
tis,
your
fair
face
alone
that
makes
this
winter
bearable
and
you're
a
bad
grace
atone
no
other
face.
AJ
But
yours,
dear
flower,
dare
show
at
such
a
time
at
least
there's
them
so
fair
as
you
that
bloom
in
such
a
client,
the
lilac
rose
and
other
flowers,
don't
open
half
an
eye
while
you
you
sweet,
defy
the
storm
that
raged
beneath
the
sky.
I
wish
that
I
narcissus
dear,
can
be
a
little
like
you
and
smiled
the
while
the
storm
rage
on
as
a
little
flower,
candy.

AK
Diplomas
titled
stars
on
velvet
black.
We
live
in
a
country
where
our
lives
are
our
own
and
our
dreams
can
reach
for
the
stars.
Yet
so
many
choose
to
let
that
light
fade
away
and
gaze
emptily
away
to
a
farm.
We
are
protected
and
sheltered
from
storms
and
conveyed
than
the
warmth
of
a
hearth,
yet
families
are
ruined
by
the
hands
of
our
own
and
the
lives
of
many
torn
apart.
We
were
given
so
much
that
others
do
not
have
and
the
choices
to
choose
our
own
way.
AK
A
Q
Q
So
since
rotary
is
one
of
the
producers
of
the
event
today,
we'd
like
to
put
in
a
t-shirt
from
today's
event,
and
hopefully
when
we
open
this
again,
it'll
be
the
25th
annual
to
Belize.
So
we'll
put
the
very
first
Jubilee
t-shirt
in
and
also,
as
we
said
today
is
the
50th
anniversary
of
cupertino.
Rotary
this
year
is
the
50th
anniversary
of
cupertino
rotary,
so
I'll
put
in
my
very
own
50th
anniversary,
Rotary
Club.
C
A
H
The
first
two
items
are
historical
cards
and
a
CD
from
the
past
40
years
of
Cupertino
has
all
the
orchards
and
farms
of
the
area.
The
next
two
items
is
a
CD
and
program
from
the
art
reception
that
we
had
on
this
past
Friday,
where
Richard
Lowenthal
generously
donated
$1,000
gift
to
the
best
of
show
winner
from
the
rotary.
Thank
you
thank.
A
You
thank
you.
Now
we
have
all
the
organization's
gift
or
item
accepted
it.
I
would
like
to
go
down
to
the
individual
I
like
to
go
to
individual
if
they're,
individual
citizens
or
residents
that
would
like
to
put
an
item
in
there.
You
folks
feel
welcome
just
put
it
in
the
box,
and
here
I
know
we
are
a
console,
maybe
but
also
having
individual
items
would
like
to
put
it
in
right.
The.
N
A
F
Can
tell
us
about
of
it:
hi
I'm
Anna
I'm,
a
cash
delivery
driver
that
one
is
a
cafe
right
behind
this
in
the
new
verona
center,
and
I
have
the
pleasure
of
knowing
a
lot
of
you
because
I
delivered
to
you
guys
pretty
much
of
a
daily
basis,
but
I
thought
I'd
like
to
submit
the
menu.
So
you
what
the
prices
will
be
in
25
years.
A
All
right
well
to
do
want
you
to
remember
that
this
time
capsule
will
be
finally
closed
and
the
golden
jubilee
barbecue.
At
my
parents,
farm
on
October
15,
2005,
the
tickets
updatable
to
the
park
and
recreation.
The
number
is
four:
oh,
eight,
seven,
seven,
seven
three
one
two
Oh
get
your
ticket
barbecue
ticket
and
and
I,
would
like
to
ask
our
mayor
Eric
Rock.
To
give
the
closing
remark
thanks,
Chris.
K
Was
telling
me
early
this
afternoon,
he
said
well
Patrick.
If
you
are
a
bit
smaller
I
would
have
put
you
in
the
same,
but
I
said:
if
Houdini
can
do
it,
why
can't
I
do
it?
So
there
was
no
response
from
Chris,
but
anyhow
things
way
too
much
all
the
presenters
to
give
us
all
the
boxes
of
goodie,
so
that
will
be
open
again
in
25
years
from
now
and
everywhere.
K
Anyone
who
is
interest
when
t
five
years
you'll
come
gab,
come
and
get
it,
get
it
and
open
it
and
we'll
put
something
back
on
again
for
the
100th
year
of
our
celebration.
I
think
this
has
been
a
great
event
for
everybody.
I
think
the
community's
really
get
together
and
helped
us
to
celebrate
this
big
event
and
the
crowd
here
is
great
and
we
never
expected
that
many
of
you
here,
but
you
are
still
have
some
more
chances
to
put
the
stuff
into
the
same
for
the
next
25
75
years
for
the
next
25
years.
K
People
ask
me
even
asking
me
ways:
the
Mauryan,
how
typical
cupertino
symbol
the
Mauryan
is
back
in
Cupertino.
Now
it's
in
the
corner
of
Taurus
and
Rodriguez
he's
been
in
high
uniform.
Why
but
I'm
glad
to
tell
our
residents
than
it
is
back
so
go
and
take
a
look
at
the
Mauryan
with
that,
and
just
want
to
thank
everybody
becoming
will
put
it
in
a
safe
and
well
some
more
for
the
fifteenth
of
October.
When
we
have
our
barbecue
chris
has
done
a
great
job.
I
am
seeing
this.
