From YouTube: Cupertino Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting - April 7, 2022 (Live Streamed Version)
Description
Coverage of the April 7, 2022 Cupertino Parks and Recreation Commission Teleconference Meeting.
A
B
Hello,
everyone
today
is
april
7th
and
now
it's
seven
o'clock.
I
call
the
cupertino
park
under
recreation
commission
meeting
to
order
welcome
to
this
meeting
and,
let's
start
with
a
roll
call.
Please.
D
E
B
B
E
B
B
Okay,
now
we
move
to
the
next
agenda
item
and
we
are
going
to
do
some
adjustment
for
tonight
agenda
because
some
commissioner,
they
may
have
some
time
conflict,
so
we're
going
to
move.
C
A
C
Sorry
continuing
just
please
continue.
B
E
B
Oh
yeah,
sorry
I
I
forgot
this
one
yeah
so
before
the
agenda
item,
we
are
going
to
welcome
the
community
members
during
this
meeting.
Now,
if
you
have
any
anything
about
the
now
and
agenda
item,
you
can
raise
your
hand
and
speak
recording,
stopped.
H
C
Okay,
the
the
minutes
will
be
updated
accordingly,.
H
B
Thank
you.
I
didn't
see
anyone
raised
hand
so
looks
like
there's.
No,
our
communication
for
non-agenda.
Now
we
can
move
to
our
next
agenda
atom.
That's
a
fiscal
year
2022
to
2023
community
funding
application
evaluations
under
recommendation
to
city.
F
Okay,
so
there's
no
actual
presentation
on
this
one,
but
I
will
go
through
what
we
will
be
doing
so
to
begin
this
item.
The
chair
will
facilitate
the
eligibility
conversation
with
the
commissioners.
I
will
then
share
my
screen
and
collect
the
commissioner
total
scores
out
of
a
hundred
for
each
applicant.
F
B
B
Onto
I
see,
commissioner
kumarapan.
D
Yeah,
thank
you
chair.
I
was
going
through
the
evaluation
and
I
have
I
looked
at
one
particular
organization
in
general.
Again,
I'm
just
putting
it
on
the
table
based
on
my
observation
and
it
again
we
will
be
discussing
on
it.
So
this
is
the.
D
Initiative
organization
and
again
I've
gone
through
the
previous
eligibility
criteria.
Maybe
I'm
not
able
to
make
it
few
things?
Maybe
staff
rachel
can
help
to
identify.
Am
I
misleading
it,
or
maybe
my
interpretation
may
be
wrong,
so
the
sister
city
program,
a
sister
city
in
general,
is
part
of
the
city
initiatives.
That
means
it
is
already
bounded
by
city
cupertino
city.
D
This
particular
organization
is
part
of
the
city's
official
sister
city
program.
That
means
it's
associated
with
the
city,
unlike
any
other
communities
which
offered
for
it
in
this
case,
if
I
see
it
like
I'm,
whatever
we
do
at
work.
Similarly,
I'm
trying
to
see
is
if
my
organization
is
already
having
an
organization,
ask
my
affiliate
attached
to
it.
Allocating
a
fund
to
that
compared
to
the
other
ones
will
be
a
conflict
of
interest.
D
I
just
want
to
put
it
on
the
table.
I
I
personally
see
that
one
if
it
is
associated
with
it,
it
should
not
be
eligible
from
the
community
funding.
So
that's
my
put
it
on
it.
Maybe
I
think
staff,
and
maybe
director
joy
and
others-
can
correct
me
how
that
is
because
there
are
many
other
sister
city
programs
we
have
associated
with
the
cupertino.
F
D
So
maybe
sorry
what
can
I
have
a
follow-up
question
chair,
okay,
rachel?
This
is
this
particular
I
mean
bhuvaneshwar
city
sister
city.
One
is
how
it
is
qualified
within
our
cupertino
city
association,
it's
an
affiliates
or
isn't
still
a
non-profit,
but
we
just
fund
it.
But
I
want
to
make
sure
that
how
this
sister
city
program
is
attached
to
the
cupertino
budgets
and
whatnot.
So
because
I
say
it's,
a
cooperative
sister
city
meets
part
of
the
cupertino
again.
J
D
Maybe
you
can
help
me
on
on
just
that,
maybe
our
other
commissioners
who
know
aware
of
it
part
of
the
successivity
programs,
like
I
think
I
see
commissioner
stanic
joining
in
any
one
of
them.
That
would
be
great.
D
Okay,
yeah,
I
see
what
they
received
it,
but
again,
that's,
maybe
I'm
not
a
big
part
of
the.
I
don't.
I
don't
remember
that
part
of
the
last
one
we
picked
that
organization
allocated.
I
think
it
was
allocated
by
the
city
council,
so
it
was
not
so
I'm
sure
that
at
the
time
I
I
held
my
criteria
accounting
last
time
as
well.
D
But
this
point
that's
what
I'm
going
to,
if,
if
all
commission
as
a
whole
feels
that
no
it
is
eligible,
I'm
fine,
then
my
voting
will
differ
accordingly
or
I
will
reflect
on
it.
But
that's
just
only
one
point.
I
want
to
put
it
right
again:
that's
my
input.
If
other
commissions
and
however
chair
you
wanted
to
take
it
or
any
discussion
I'll
leave,
it.
D
No,
I
see
it
looks
like
a
lot
of
other
hands
raised
chair
like
commission
stank
and
others.
Maybe
they
may
have
inputs,
it
will
be
good.
I
would
like
to
get
some
inputs
from
them.
B
Okay,
so
commissioner,
stanic
yeah,
if
you
have
any
comments,
please.
K
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
So
there
were,
there
were
a
couple
of
organizations
that
two
years
ago
were
funded
by
the
council
that
were
not
forwarded
by
the
commission
and-
and
I
think
the
this
festival
was
was
the
sister
city
was
one
where
we
had
talked
about
trying
to
make
it
consistent
with
the
way
the
other
sister
cities
are
treated.
K
B
Okay-
and
I
just
now,
I
saw
why
scare
bigger
has
something
I.
E
I
had
a
I
had
a
similar
comment.
I
think
you
know
when
it
first
came
out
in
2020.
That
was
our
consensus,
that
perhaps
we
should
treat
this
as
any
other
cysticity.
So,
however,
it
was
funded
by
by
the
city
council
and
that's
certainly
up
to
them,
and
you
know
from
our
recommendation.
I
think
we
can
perhaps
stick
with
what
was
suggested.
B
So
looks
like
three
commissioners
have
comments
on
this
issue.
So
what's
next,
should
we
ask
if
anyone
wants
to
take
a
motion
to
make
adjustment
on
the
eligibility?
Is
that
the
correct
process?
I
just
want
to
confirm.
F
K
Okay,
thank
you.
So
one
of
the
eligibility
criteria
is
that
there
is
no
fee
charged
for
the
participants
and
staff
has
noted
that,
where
there
are
organizations
that
are
charging
a
fee
and
said
that
it
requires
the
commission
to
approve
that.
So
I'd
like
to
look
at
each
one
of
those
or
maybe
just
as
a
as
a
group
say,
what
is
our
position?
Ada
I'd
like
to
have
the
conversation?
What
is
our
position
of
when
a
fee
is
charged?
E
I
I
take
the
the
same
stance
as
commissioner
stannic
or
I
don't
know
if
she
specifically
expressed
her
stance,
but
I
I
believe
that
if
we
have
a
situation
where
the
rules
kind
of
apply,
that
this
is
a
service
that
is
provided
for
free
and
that
they
don't
charge
a
fee,
then
we
might
want
to
reconsider
that
particular
applicant
for
eligibility.
My
my
take
is
that
it
should
be
free
to
the
residents
of
cupertino
they're
free
to
charge
this
for
other
people.
B
Okay-
and
I
I
see
some
community
members
raise
their
hand,
I
just
want
to
explain
the
process.
So
after
commissioner's
discussion,
we
will
go
back
to
community
questions,
so
I
will
ask
you
to
speak
after
the
commissioner's
discussion
yeah
so
now
regarding
the
eligibility.
Is
there
any
other
comments
from
commissioners.
K
Well,
I'd
like
to
see
the
list
I
mean
I'd
like
to
have
us
put
up,
go
through
and
look
specifically
at
which
ones
are
charging
a
fee.
So
we
are
are
clear
about
you
know
which,
which
ones
we
are
we
we
might
be
saying,
are
ineligible
because
they're
charging
a
fee
and
for
the
for
the
sister
city
one.
K
I
don't
know
that.
There's
anything
that
in
our
in
our
criteria
that
would
make
them
ineligible.
I
would
almost
think
that
maybe
we
should
reflect
whether
we
think
they
should
be
funded
here
in
our
scoring.
K
So
that's
that's
one
suggestion
I
have
for
that
for
the
sister
city,
for
I
believe
so
I
guess
I'd
like
to
see
for
the
speech
boosters.
I
think
they
charge
for
students
for
to
participate,
and
so
I
think
they
were
on
one.
I
had
another
comment
about
about
them,
so
if
they.
J
K
Again
it
was
not
an
organization
that
the
commission
had
put
forward
the
council,
or
maybe
it
was
last
year
that
they
did
it
because
they
actually
discussed
their
application
in
in
depth,
and
they
have
they
looked
at
the
three
thousand
dollars
that
they
were
asking
for
for
scholarships
and
the
ten
thousand
dollars
that
they
were
asking
for
the
program
and
they
really
approved
just
the
three
thousand
dollars
for
scholarships
and
in
reading
their
application
it
seems
that
they
well.
K
They
said
that
they
used
it
for
the
program
and
not
for
scholarships
and
and
looking
it
over,
looks
like
they
did.
They
spent
1500
on
scholarships
but
said
that
was
a
a
work
in
progress.
So
I
I
have
some
you
know.
I
was
disappointed
to
see
that
they
didn't
spend
the
funds
that
were
allocated
by
the
by
the
city
council
in
the
way
the
city
council
identified
and
but
again
they
are
also
charging
to
participate.
E
E
E
I
don't
know
if
there
is
something
that
they
have
additionally
added
into
the
application
that
has
changed
and
does
does
that,
make
it
the
criteria
for
it
to
still
be
there.
B
B
Okay,
so
now,
commission
aesthetic
have
something
to
say.
K
Yeah
on
that
particular
one,
if
we
go
back
to
rochelle's
list
of
the
organizations
that
received
fee
waivers,
I
believe
we'll
see
the
relay
for
life
on
there.
So
they
actually
are
getting
money
this
year,
and
my
guess
is
that
they
are
perennially
asking
for
the
fee
waiver
and
and
receiving
that.
Can
you
confirm
that
assistant
director.
J
B
If
not,
I
have
a
question
when
I
looking
at
the
community
funding
history
sheet,
the
attachment
e,
I
remember
in
the
past,
we
already
moved
the
cupertino
historical
society
to
city
funding
because
they
it
looks
like
they
have
the
cooperation
with
our
city
and
they
run
something
that
our
city
needed.
So
we
suggested
they
shouldn't
use
a
quarter
of
community
funding,
because
community
funding
is
to
encourage
more
non-profit
organizations
if
they
want
to
build
some
program
to
serve
our
community
member.
B
B
F
So,
for
the
last
two
years
they
were
put
in
as
a
budget
line
item.
However,
their
funding
technically
still
comes
out
of
the
budget
line
item
community
funding,
so
the
money
is
still
in
the
same
pot,
but
they
are
a
budget
line
item,
so
they
don't
have
to
go
through
the
process.
Now
that
is,
there
is
a
subcommittee
from
council
looking
at
that
now
so
this
year
they
have
not
applied
and
city
council
will
decide
what
their
funding
will
be
going
forward.
F
B
Got
it?
Thank
you
for
the
explanation.
Yeah
so
looks
like
there's
no
other
comments
on
eligibility,
and
now
we
can
work
on
the.
If
any
commissioner
want
to
take
a
motion
to
do
some
adjustment
on
the
current
criteria
of
the
eligibility,
you
can
raise
your
hand.
K
I
I
guess,
I'd
like
to
see
to
make
sure
we're
all
talking
about
the
same
organizations
when
we
say
you
know
which
ones
are
charging
a
fee
and
which
ones
aren't
so
so
we're
clear
about
which,
which
ones
we
are
saying,
are
not
eligible
for
that
particular
criteria.
B
Is
it
possible
to
get
that
information
for
this
year's
application
package?
I'm
not
sure
if
staff
have
time
to
do
that.
So
if
we
agree
to
add
this
thing
to
eligibility,
maybe
we
can
work
on
the
next
year's
criteria
so
yeah
so
stuff.
Maybe
you
you
can
answer.
Can
you
give
us
the
information
tonight
for
the
current
application.
F
A
B
B
Okay,
so
for
community
members,
if
you
have
any
questions
on
this
agenda
item,
please
feel
free
to
raise
your
hand,
and
each
of
you
have
three
minutes
to
talk
now.
I
see
only
one.
L
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
So
much
honorable
commissioners
really
appreciate
you
giving
me
the
opportunity
to
speak,
so
I
just
wanted
to
clarify
couple
of
points
couple
of
commissioners
made
so
that
we
all
are
on
one
page.
I
thought
they
were
and
we
are
on
doing
the
right
thing.
Number
one.
All
sister
cities
are
the
same.
I
agree
with
that,
and
all
sister
cities
are
independent,
non-profit
organizations
based
out
of
cupertino
and
supporting
and
working
for
the
community
by
the
community
of
cupertino,
and
these
sister
cities
are
endorsed
by
the
city.
L
Nothing
more
so
you
I,
I
feel,
being
a
cupertino
resident
the
we.
You
should
have
a
preference
for
the
local
community
efforts
that
are
going
on
to
bring
the
communities
together.
There's
nothing
else,
isn't
the
independent
non-profit
organizations
we
pay
the
tax
to
the
irs.
It's
completely
different.
It's
not
that
the
city
pays
for
us
files,
our
taxes
or
anything
like
that.
So
it's
a
completely
independent.
L
So
my
I
was
a
little
bit
sad
in
the
sense
that
we
are
cupertino
residents,
cupertino
city
and
by
the
way,
the
other
sister
cities
are
very
much
older
organizations
15
to
20
years,
and
they
have
enough
funding.
We
are
pretty
new.
That
is
why
we
are
looking
for
funding
once
we
get
on
our
feet
and
start
running
and
we
won't
be
maybe
not
coming
to
the
community
funding
and
those
other
sister
cities
have
not
come
because
maybe
that's
one
of
the
reasons
I
think.
L
If
they
come,
then
it's
a
different
story,
but
we
put
the
effort
put
the
application
because
we
want
to
make
sure
our
sister
city
is
represented
and
we
bring
the
communities
together
in
cupertino
and
we
are
working
on
various
projects
and
it
is
like
the
student
exchange
programs,
cultural
exchange
programs.
This
is
what
we
are
working
for,
the
cupertino
community,
so
I
hope
you
guys
had
an
opportunity
to
come
for
our
event
last
weekend
and
you
would
have
seen
that.
L
That's
all
I
it's
my
plea
to
the
commissioners,
please
think
about
it,
because
it's
for
the
cupertino
residents,
no
other
organization,
there's
three
of
the
organizations
the
list
are
outside
cupertino.
We
are
one
of
those
which
can
claim
to
be
by
the
people
for
the
people
or
the
cupertino
residents.
L
B
You,
for
speaking,
are
there
any
community
member.
I
see.
Deepa
gong
paul
has
something
to
say
yeah.
You
can
speak
now.
B
Okay,
you're,
let
me
try
the
button
didn't
work.
I
I
clicked
I
mute
but
looks
like.
Okay
are
you
hearing
me
know
yeah.
M
Now,
okay,
perfect
great,
thank
you
so
much
for
giving
us
an
opportunity
to
speak.
My
name
is
deepa
gopal
and
I'm
with
the
organization
young
zine,
and
we
are
running
our
very
first
youth
climate
stewardship
program
as
a
fellowship
program,
in
fact,
for
high
school
students,
and
I
know
that
one
of
the
criteria
that
you
just
talked
about
was
around
charging
for
the
program
and
right
now.
Our
funding
model
is
such
that,
since
it's
our
pilot
program,
we
are
going
to
offer
scholarships.
M
We
are
in
fact
going
to
other
organizations
as
well
if
they
can
support
more
scholarship.
But
essentially
the
idea
is
that
we
are
asking
for
six
thousand
dollars
and,
and
then
after
about
another
10
students,
every
totally
for
20
students
additional
student,
that
amount
will
actually
go
to
sponsor
students.
So
essentially
we
are
going
to
be
using
the
amount
towards
scholarships
as
well
for
students,
and
I
just
wanted
to
clarify
that
that
the
fact
that
there
is
a
fee.
M
I
hope
that
that
would
not
deter
you
from
considering
our
organization
and
having
us
run
this
very
unique
interdisciplinary
program
for
our
students,
where
they
actually
get
to
work
with
people
in
industry,
academia
and
and
society,
even
in
the
government,
to
really
understand
how
sustainability
affects
you
know
our
daily
lives.
So
I
just
wanted
to
you
know
see
if
there
are
any
specific
questions
anyone
had
for
us.
M
Regarding
our
you
know,
our
ask
and
the
fact
that
we
are
charging
a
fee
for
students
again
just
want
to
clarify
that
there
are
scholarships
available
for
students
who
cannot
afford.
So
we
are
not
going
to
be
precluding
anybody,
and
if
the
committee
still
chooses,
we
can
use
the
6k
towards
scholarships
and
we
will
then
look
for
other
sources
for
our
funding
of
the
program
and
we
are
fine
with
that
as
well.
Really
we'd
love
to
have
the
city
as
a
partner
on
this
endeavor.
B
Thank
you,
so
are
there
any
other
community
member
want
to
speak
so,
if
not
check
yeah?
If
not,
we
can
go
back
to
the
community
commissioner's
discussion
on
the
community
funding
eligibility
topic
yeah,
so
I
was
able
to
find
yeah
ready
for
the
summary.
Thank
you.
F
So
there
are
three
organizations
that
charge
it's
the
stem
boost
organization,
young
zim,
who
we
just
heard
from,
and
the
jewish
film
festival
now
monavis
boosters
did.
Let
us
know
last
time
that
they
don't
charge
a
fee,
but
they
do
have
a.
If
you
can
pay,
then
you
can
pay
what
they
suggested,
which
I
believe
she
said
was
three
hundred
dollars,
so
stem
boost
young
zine
and
the
jewish
film
festival,
and
they
did
not
specify
what
the
fees
were.
F
B
J
B
So
if
we
have
several,
commissioner,
have
comments
on
the
eligibility,
so
I
think
one
topic
is
about
the
eligibility
of
sister
city,
because
we
have
several
sisters
in
the
program
and
the
second
topic
is
about
the
organization
which
charge
fees
so
are
there
any
commission?
I
want
to
make
a
motion
to
adjust
the
eligibility
rule.
J
K
Thank
you,
I'm
actually
not
quite
ready
to
make
a
motion,
yet
I
did
have.
I
was
hoping
we
could
also
have
a
discussion
about
able
to
shine
which
had
the
staff
had
indicated
it
was
pending
eligibility
because
of
the
operational
costs.
So
I
was
hoping
we
could
have
a
conversation
about
that.
One
too.
B
F
B
Okay-
and
I
remember
able
to
shy-
they
also
changed
their
funding
category
from
operational
cost.
I
remember
there's
some
update
about
that.
Just
as
commissioner
stanley
asked
so,
is
there
any
change
for
that
part
of
application.
B
F
B
F
B
Got
it
and
I
see
yeah
commissioners
remy
have
something
to
say
yeah,
you
can
speak.
H
Thank
you
cheshire.
If
we
were
looking
at
eligibility
from
the
perspective
of
paying,
I
would
say
that,
even
if
we
are
going
to,
we
can
overlook
the
registration
fee
and
the
minor
fees.
The
jewish,
film
festival,
charging
tickets
and
movie
passes
seems
like
an
outlier
and
therefore
is
that
something
we
should
consider
as
violating
the
eligibility
rules.
Although
I
do
recognize
that
they
were
funded
in
the
past.
E
So
I
do,
I
do
have
a
comment
now,
I'm
raising
my
hand
when
we
talked,
I
missed
something.
My
audio
was
acting
up
as
usual.
So
when
we
talked
about
the
historical
society
and
things
like
that,
we
have
certain
organizations
that
are
coming
to
us
repeatedly
for
funding,
and
the
question
then
becomes
is
this
and
they
get
other
festival,
funds
and
stuff
like
that.
So
does
it
make
sense
to
have
such
organizations?
E
G
Yes,
that
information,
we
could
not
get
our
subcommittee
and
staff
together
to
work
on
community
funding
prior
to
this
year's
funding
cycle,
unfortunately,
due
to
city
manager
turnover
and
some
different
things
that
were
happening,
and
so
that
discussion
was
supposed
to
happen
prior
to
this
year
about
what
you
know,
the
purpose
of
this
funding
is,
and
if
it
would,
you
know,
fund
only
new
organizations
or
how
the
funding
would
look,
and
so
that
is
not
part
of
the
discussion
this
evening.
G
Unfortunately,
so
we
haven't
really
ironed
out
all
the
details
that
we
had
discussed
at
the
end
of
last
year.
We
met
after
this
item
last
year
and
discussed
some
of
the
things
about
how
you
know
this.
This
particular
community
funding
would
look,
these
grants
would
look,
and
so
we
have
not
ironed
out
those
details
yet
so
we're
proceeding
as
we
did
last
year,
with
with
the
the
same
discussions
that
you
had
about
funding
different
organizations
and
for
what
purposes.
G
So
certainly
the
eligibility
is
up
to
the
commission
on
any
of
these
groups
and
organizations,
and
then
you
know,
ultimately,
your
information
will
be
put
forward
as
a
recommendation
to
counsel.
D
Thank
you
chair,
so
I
think
just
the
comment
is
that
I
think,
thanks
for
the
community
member
to
clarifying
the
association,
all
the
successivity
with
the
cupertino,
so
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
that
that
helped
me
so
that's
only
common
diagram.
B
Okay-
and
I
remember
after
last
year's
discussion-
you
know
we
talked
about
the
repeating
project
and
repeating
events.
That's
two
different
things
for
the
project.
B
They
can
only
come
back
once
so.
The
I
remember
one
example
is
a
white
bar
project
and
it
didn't
come
back
this
year
because
of
the
eligibility
rule
and
some
project.
I
remember
the
western
valley
community
services.
They
once
asked
to
build
some
roof
when
they
distribute
food
there.
They
need
something
to
yeah.
During
the
rainy
day
they
can
have
a
roof.
So
that
is
a
project
so
such
project.
They
only
asked
for
funding
once,
but
for
the
events.
You
know
we
still
see
some
events.
B
G
Yes,
we
re-watched
the
meetings
from
last
year
to
refresh
our
memories.
To
be
able
to,
you
know,
help
navigate
this
conversation
and
ultimately,
what
was
decided
last
year
by
the
commission
is
that
it
was
a
new
event
each
year,
and
so
you
decided
to
move
that
way
for
eligibility
last
year.
That
doesn't
mean
that
you
have
to
move
that
way
this
year,
but
that
was
the
discussion
and
the
ultimate
decision.
Last
year.
K
B
K
Guess
I'd
I'd
like
to
either
have
a
motion
to
include
or
exclude
those
that
that
do
not
meet
all
of
the
eligibility
criteria.
So
so
we're
clear
about
that
and
I
I
know
it's
a
very
hard
thing
to
vote
to
exclude,
but
let
me
just
say
this
about
the
eligibility.
I
think
the
eligibility
criteria
are
out
there
and
organizations
that
look
at
our
requirements,
those
that
read
it
if
they
don't
meet
it,
some
of
them
may
not
apply.
K
B
Okay,
thank
you,
so
is
there?
Are
there
any
other
confirmation
have
comments
on
this.
Commissioner
kumarapan.
D
Yeah
thanks
chad
and
I
think
I
I
really
agree
with
what
commission
stanley
said
we
need
to
be.
We
need
to
be
very
clear
on
what
it
is
so
definitely
either.
We
include
our
wave
this
time
and
move
on
to
the
next
one.
I
think
it's
it's
very
important,
I.
Otherwise
we
are
making
adjustments
here
and
there
and
definitely
not
doing
the
right
justice
for
the
organization
who
filled
in
and
met
the
eligibility
criteria.
100
percent.
D
E
I
think
I
I
I
guess,
third,
the
opinion
that
has
been
expressed
so
far.
There
are
probably
whether
it's
regard
to
the
sister
city
or
whether
it
is
regard
to
you
know
the
fees
being
charged.
Maybe
other
organizations
chose
not
to
participate
because
they
read
the
eligibility
criteria
in
a
little
bit
more
detail.
E
So
I
am
ready
to
make
a
motion
to
perhaps
you
know
those
organizations
that
are
considered
eligible.
E
We
are
as
as
we
see
it
right
now,.
E
Okay,
so
I
I
believe
that
we,
I
think
we
should
hold
hold
ourselves
responsible
for
holding
up
the
criteria
that
we
have
set
up
for
for
this
community
program.
We
cannot
make
a
rule
and
then
make
exceptions.
There
are
probably
organizations
out
there
that
read
the
eligibility
requirements
and
met
all
of
them
or
decided
not
to
apply
because
they
did
not
need
some
of
them.
So
we're
not
being
fair.
E
When
we
make
exceptions
or
wave
some
eligibility
requirements,
we
we
can,
we
can
make
the
we
can
make
the
criteria
to
to
be
a
little
bit
more
relaxed
the
next
time
around,
or
you
know
clearly
state
that
these
are
these
eligibility
criteria
have
to
be
met,
and
you
know
the
staff
can
then
make
sure
that
those
criteria
are
met
before
we
have
this
discussion.
E
So
we're
not,
you
know,
sort
of
setting
people
up
to
come
and
go
through
this
trouble
and
then
to
have
to
tell
them
that
they're
known
sorry,
they're
ineligible
for
something.
So
I
think
we
should
stick
with
the
criteria
we
have
and
we
so
that
we
can
go
forward
and
make
sure
that
this
doesn't
happen.
B
Okay,
thank
you,
yeah
and
I'll
see.
We
do
have
something
to
say
yeah,
please
speak.
F
So
if
somebody
else
that
charged
a
fee
read
it,
it
doesn't
say
like
don't
apply
because
you're
not
eligible
it
just
says:
if
you
charge
a
fee,
the
eligibility
will
be
up
to
the
commission,
so
I
just
wanted
to
throw
that
out
there,
because
there
are
eligibility
criteria
that
do
state.
You
cannot
have
this.
You
cannot
have
that.
However,
I
also
wanted
to
throw
out
there
that
we
do
have
one
pending
eligibility
that
when
we
do
make
our
motion,
if
we
can
decide
which
way
we're
going
on
that
also,
please.
B
Okay,
commissioner
kumarapan.
D
Yeah,
thank
you,
chad.
I
think,
as
let's
go
one
by
one
clearly,
I
think
looks
like
there
are
not.
You
cannot
looks
like
combine
all
of
them,
at
least
for
one.
If
it
is
pending
eligibility
and
we
the
documents
are
not
yet
there
and
staff
haven't,
had
a
chance
to
decide
whether
they're
eligible
or
not.
I
think
that
should
be
out
of
the
the
list
here.
If
it's
still
pending,
then
it's
not
qualified
yet
to
be
on
the
table.
So
that's,
that's
would
be
my
input
so.
J
B
Thank
you.
So
I
think
several
commissioner.
B
They
said
they
want
to
make
this
rule
clearer
about
how
if
the
some
organization
didn't
meet
the
eligibility
issue,
maybe
we
should
maybe
make
it
clearer
so
not
next
time
we
won't
confuse
people.
B
So
are
there
any
oh
okay,
rachel
yeah,
you
can
speak.
F
I
just
want
to
remind
everybody
as
we're
going
through
this,
that
there
is
a
subcommittee
from
council
and
this
will
be
probably
changing
before
next
year.
So
we
will
do
our
best
to
make
sure
we're
noting
everything
coming
up
this
evening
as
with
last
year,
but
for
this
evening,
if
we
can
just
go
forward
with
what
we
have,
that
would
be
fabulous.
B
G
So,
if
I
might
just
jump
in
here,
so
we
still
need
to
determine
if
there
are
any
groups
that
you
are
deeming
ineligible
and
we
also
need
to
determine
the
one
group
that
is
pending
if
you
are
deeming
them
eligible
or
ineligible.
So
we
need
to
make
those
decisions.
We
can't
change
the
rules
about
any
of
the
policy.
Those
the
policy
rules
are
as
is,
and
have
been
adopted
by
both
the
commission
and
the
council.
G
So
what
I
have
is,
I
have
five
different
groups
that
you've
talked
about,
so
if
we
want
to
go
through
those
one
by
one
and
say
eligible
or
ineligible,
I
think
that
might
be
helpful.
I,
unless
I've
missed
any
groups,
but
we
can
move
through
that
way.
The
the
five
groups
that
you've
talked
about
are
stem
book
stem
boost,
jewish
film
festival
able
to
shine,
and
then
I
do
you
have
the
other
two
rochelle.
G
So
I
don't
know
if
there
are
any
others
that
you
are
deliberating
want
to
deliberate
on,
but
I'd
like
to
get
the
list
together
and
then
we
can
just
move
through
the
list.
Perhaps.
B
Okay-
and
now
I
just
want
to
provide
a
summary
just
to
make
sure
everyone
is
clear
about
this
issue.
So
at
first
we
talked
about
the
sister
city,
but
then
it
turned
out:
there's
no
eligibility
rule
to
prohibit
this
application,
and
then
we
talk
about
the
able
to
shy
because
of
operational
fee.
Those
things
is
that
still
eligible,
but
it
turned
out
in
last
meeting.
They
mentioned
there's
some
update,
but
they
didn't
submit
the
formal
update
and
all
the
other
organizations,
that's
because
of
the
charge
of
fee.
That's
why
we're
discussing
their
eligibility.
K
The
only
other
one
I
I
would
add
to
that
is
the
mona
vista
boosters
because
they
do
say
there's
a
fee.
I
think
there's
a
difference
to
say,
there's
a
fee,
but
it
can
be
waived
with
a
scholarship,
that's
different
than
saying:
there's
no
fees,
because
there
is
a
hurdle
that
someone
a
decision
that
someone
needs
to
make
in
order
to
try
to
participate.
So
I
would
add
them
to
that
list
because
they
said
it's.
I
thought
it
was
like
four
or
five
hundred
dollars
to
focus.
D
Yeah,
thank
you.
Isn't
I
asked
director
juwan
and
the
chair
you
summarized
it.
I
think
one
is
standing
out
which
is
the
a
particular
organization
is
pending
eligibility.
I
think
I
would
like
to
do
it
if
it
is
spending
energy,
but
they
should
not
be
even
the
bucket
of
whether
we
are
eligible
or
not,
because
it
is
not
even
qualified
yet
because
we
haven't
checked,
mark
and
put
it
in
the
bucket.
D
Yet
I
think
I
would
like
to
separate
that
out
and
then
I
like
to
make
sure
if
they
are
again,
I
can
make
a
separate
motion
on
it,
because
if
it
is
pending
regiments,
it's
still
in
the
process
of
evaluation.
That
means
you
should
not
be
in
the
bucket
with
the
others,
because
they
have
completed
the
evaluation
they
are
already
deemed
eligible
to
start
with
and
we
are
discussing
a
double
click
version
or
a
minor
version
of
it.
D
So
I
like
to
separate
these
two
one
is
not
even
yet
in
the
in
the
bucket
of
things
which
you
want
to
discuss,
which
is
pending
eligibility,
which
I
like
to
make
a
motion
to.
If
it
is
okay,
then
I
like
to
make
me
it's
a
staff
rachel
and
dr
juan
can
help.
If
that
is
the
case,
then
I
can
make
a
motion
to
really
if
it
is
spending
eligible.
I
would
like
to
see
that
should
be
excluded
from
this
list.
D
B
I
think
maybe
we
can
let
commissioners
remy
finish
her
comments,
and
then
we
can
go
back
to
your
motion
to
see
if
anyone
wants
to.
Second,
it
is
okay,
okay,
commissioners,
raymond,
please
speak.
Thank.
H
You
chair
xu,
I
was
actually
going
to
talk
on
a
different
topic,
so
I
would
take
this
opportunity
to
just
second
what
commissioner
kumarapan
was
saying
and
then
make
my
comment,
because
it
was
an
orthogonal
issue
and
I
don't
want
to
go
off
into
another
tangent.
So,
let's
put
this
to
rest
and
then
we
can
move
to
the
next
youtube.
H
G
It
looks
like
commissioner
stanek
has
a
comment
that
you'd
like
to
make.
Oh.
B
K
B
Yeah
looks
like
in
the
staff
report.
This
organization
is
the
only
one
with
pending
eligibility
issue
and
in
in
last
meeting
they
mentioned
they
are
going
to
update
their
application
to
make
this
eligible.
But
actually
we
didn't
got
formal
request
to
change
that.
That's
why
this
application
is
still
remain
pending
eligible
yeah.
That's
my
understanding.
G
So
if
commissioner
kamarapan
wouldn't
mind
updating
his
motion
to
include
the
organization
able
to
shine
in
it
and
then
if
commissioner
swami
would
second
that,
then
we
can
move
on.
D
Okay,
thank
you.
Thanks
welcome,
stan,
except,
I
need
more
yeah.
I
need
to
learn
more
here
to
become
more
clear.
Thank
you
yeah.
I
again
the
amended
motion
is
that
the
ability
to
shine
is
the
organization
or
is
under
pending
eligible
criteria
at
this
point,
which
means
doesn't
fit
into
the
the
bucket
of
organization
we
are
discussing.
So
I
put
a
motion
to
exclude
that
organization
because
I
haven't
it
is
still.
Eligibility
criteria
is
not
decided.
So
I
put
a
motion
to
exclude
them
from
the
current
funding
discussions.
B
Kevin,
could
you
help
us
to
do
this?
Yes,.
E
H
C
H
Yes,
I'm,
I
would
actually
like
to
come
to
the
next
of
the
orthogonal
issue
I
was
talking
about,
and
this
is
also
because
I
am
relatively
new
and
therefore
I
wanted
some
clarification.
H
So
we
we
got
the
excel
spreadsheet
to
be
able
to
make
our
give
our
numbers
in
terms
of
various
criteria
right,
whether
impacts
and
all
of
those
things
all.
That
being
said,
the
amount
of
budget
that
we
have
to
allocate
is
relatively
limited
compared
to
the
asked
said,
at
least
so,
even
if
our
ratings
for
some
of
the
criteria
we
have
been
given
may
be
high.
H
B
Yeah,
thank
you
for
the
question
yeah.
It
may
help
other
people
to
get
it
yeah,
that's
a
clear
information.
Maybe
this
community
member
also
wants
to
hear
it
and
rachel.
Please
explain.
Thank
you.
F
We
will
put
them
into
the
excel
spreadsheet
and
then
you
guys
will
be
able
to
see
where
every
organization
falls
based
on
both
averages
and
ranking
and
you'll
be
able
to
see
where
the
different
money
cut-offs
fall
within
that,
and
so
at
that
point
then
you
can
have
the
conversations
about
who
you
would
actually
like
to
fund
how
many
and
all
of
that.
So
that
will
be
the
second
piece
of
tonight's
rankings.
H
Thank
you
chechu.
My
follow-up
question
would
be.
What
does
that
really
mean,
then?
Are
we
based
on
what
the
set
of
commissioner,
the
five
of
us
gave
our
numbers?
H
Are
we
stuck
to
proportionally
distributing
it
based
on
their
ass,
because
that
would
actually
make
me
change
how
I
would
actually
rank
them
or
rate
them,
because
the
criteria
are
fairly
objective,
but
that
doesn't
mean
that
my
evaluation
of
where
I
would
think
the
merit
is
in
terms
the
relative
merit
is
in
terms
of
how
I
want
to
fund
from
my
perspective,
will
be
informed
directly
by
that.
F
B
Now
I
want
to
give
some
explanation
so
in
the
past,
when
we
pick
some
recommendation,
we,
for
example-
maybe
we
pick
five
organizations
and
recommend
them
through
council.
That
means
we
accept
the
request
amount
of
them.
But
what
happened
in
maybe
the
year
before
last
year,
the
council
said:
maybe
they
have
extra
funding.
B
They
already
funded
those
five
organizations,
but
they
still
have
extra
funding,
so
they
just
fund,
maybe
50
to
some
other
organization.
They
ranked
just
only
below
these
five
organizations,
so
they
get
partial
funding.
That's
what
happened
in
the
past,
but
usually
we
just
accept
the
requested
amount.
We
won't
propose
any
new
amount
for
the
applicants,
and
I
see
commissioner
stannic
have
something
to
say.
K
Thank
you.
Let
me
just
add
on
to
that.
I
think
the
reason
we've
gone
with
just
looking
at
the
amount
requested
was
because
deciding
different
amounts
for
all
of
these
organizations
would
just
be
very
difficult
to
do,
and
so,
if
we
started
picking
and
choosing
what
to
do,
I
mean
this
is
already
a
multi-hour
discussion
that
we're
having.
Naturally
council,
has
their
prerogative
to
to
do
what
they
decide.
But
they're.
K
K
G
And
I
would
just
like
to
add
on
really
quickly
great
explanation
by
everybody.
I
think
that
you
will
see
once
it
starts.
You'll
get
get
the
you
know
get
to
see
how
the
process
works.
It's
just
the
starting
point.
Giving
your
numbers
is
literally
the
starting
point,
and
then
the
discussion
happens
after
that
about
who
you
all
want
to
fund.
So
it's
definitely
not
a
hard
and
fast.
You
can
there's
flexibility
to
make
changes.
B
So
are
there
further
comments,
so
if
no
more
discussion-
oh,
is
the
commissioner
commissioner
stannick.
K
K
And
I'll
just
go
one
by
one
for
the
ones
that
we've
talked
about.
So
I
will
make
a
motion
for
to
exclude
based
on
eligibility,
stem
boost.
B
B
So
that's
because
of
the
eligibility
rule
about
paying
fees
and
we
need
to
make
a
motion,
including
all
the
organization
or
we
just
read,
the
rule
repeat
the
rule
again
again
and
with
the
organization
name.
G
Yeah,
I'm
happy
to
have
you
do
it
one
by
one,
so
you
can
have
a
more
concise
discussion.
Normally
after
a
motion
is
made
and
a
second,
you
can
have
further
discussion
before
going
to
a
vote.
So
that's
how
if
there
is
a
second
to
this
motion,
we
can
have
further
discussion
on
this
one.
D
I
second
that
what
motion
made
by
commission
stannic.
J
H
C
J
C
Yes,
thank
you.
Vice
chair,
big
or.
C
Yes,
there
we
go
perfect
and
chair
shoe.
B
Excuse
me
so
for
the
last
motion,
we
talk
about
the
stem
books,
and
this
is
the
next
on
the
list
yandy
any
commissioner
want
to.
Second,
it.
E
D
Think
sorry,
so
sorry
to
trapped,
I
think
dr
javon
said
we
need
to
second
it
and
then
go
for
a
discussion
before
voting.
Is
that
right?
That's
a
process?
So
if
you
want
to
discuss,
I
think,
commissioner,
I
think
second
it
and
then
go
for
a
discussion.
Correct.
D
E
It
I'm
willing
to
second
it,
but
I
do
have
a
comment
on
this,
although
I'm
seconding
the
motion
to
to
remove
them.
Given
the
comment
recently
that
we
heard
today
can
we
make
because
they
are
saying
that
they
are
going
to
use
it
specifically
for
scholarships
or
they
can
make
sure
that
they
use
the
money
we
fund
for
scholarships.
B
E
Something
for
the
scholarship
as
specified
by
forget
who
it
was
that
commented
on
it,
but
whoever
was
supporting
that.
E
K
Yeah,
so
I
think
we
could
have
we
could
vote
on
this
and
we
could
you
know
if
the
commission
wants,
they
could
vote
to
include
it
in
eligibility
and
then
later
we
could.
If
ends
up
being
on
the
list.
We
could
say
that
the
money
needs
to
only
go
for
scholarship,
so
I
think
that
would
be
a
separate
thing.
So
I
think
this
question
I'm
just
trying
to
get
very
specific.
D
Thank
you
chair,
maybe
kamshastana
could
or
maybe
for
the
staff
this
if
if
they
are
willing
to
die-
and
they
say
that
that
means
their
modification
has
to
come,
and
so
it
just
looks
like
a.
I
don't
think
that
this
we
are
taking
a
binary
answer
here,
right,
exclude
or
include,
and
then
and
then
then,
if
you
include
it,
then
it
will
have
a
conditionals
to
be
put
on
when
the
money
gets
allocated.
I
think
that's
what
I
think.
D
I'm
sure
stranachi
can
help
me
out
so
here
we
need
to
make
an
a
motion
that
to
include
or
exclude
if
we
include,
looks
like
option
one
option,
then
we
have
to
have
a
conditional,
I'm
not
sure
where
that
condition
will
be
put
forth.
As
part
of
the
motion,
because
exclude
is
simple,
we
can
say
sorry,
that's
yeah.
We
can
exclude
it
but
if
I
say
include,
but
I'm
I'm
making
that
more
making
that
comment
on,
including
with
a
conditional
during
the
allocation.
D
G
I
I'll
speak
to
that
commissioner
kamarapan.
So
if
you
decide
to
include
them,
you
will
go
through
the
ranking
process
and
then
at
the
discussion
point,
if
they
do
make
it
into
the
grouping
that
you
recommend
to
council,
we
can
talk
about
having
specific
requirements
for
the
funding.
D
G
B
So
so
so
does
that
mean
the
why
scare
people
are
going
to
make
a
new
motion
based
on
the
sorry.
G
C
No
commissioner
stannic.
J
H
H
K
Okay,
I'm
going
to
make
a
motion
for
the
next
one
and
just
to
understand
I'm
making
motions
just
so
we
can
clearly
note
what
we're,
including
and
excluding
so
so.
I
make
a
motion
that
we
exclude
the
jewish
bills
festival
based
on
the
eligibility
requirement
that
there
is
not
a
seat.
D
J
J
K
J
B
I
think
last
time
we
just
put
the
scoring
the
we
scored
on
the
screen,
and
every
commissioner
do
it
by
themselves?
Is
that
the
process
this
year.
F
K
Thank
you.
This
is
just
a
little
process
comment
as
we
go
through
them.
Sometimes
as
we
rate
them
we
or
if
we
score
them,
we
end
up
with
ties.
So
two
or
three
or
four
organizations
may
have
the
same
total
score
and
when
those
go
to
be
staff,
ranked
there's
a
couple
of
ways,
we
could
do
it
one.
We
could
either
ask
all
the
commissioners
to
themselves
break
their
ties
so
that
there
is
a
force.
K
One
is
ahead
of
the
other
or
if
they
have
three
that
end
up
being
number
one,
then
the
then
the
staff
ranking
that
that
should
get
from
that,
commissioner,
should
not
be
three
one.
It
should
be
the
average
of
those
three
which
would
be
a
two
for
each
one.
So
that's
a
that's
a
kind
of
esoteric
statistical
issue
just
like.
Why
do
we
do
stack
ranking
with
them?
But
I
think
last
year
there
were
some
where
there
were
some
ties
and
the
people
who
had
ties
ended
up.
K
Their
rankings
were
higher
than
all
the
other
commissioners
because
we
gave
the
the
best
ranking
kind
of
like
if
you
were
in
a
race
and
three
people
tied
for
first,
they
all
get
first
and
the
next
one
gets
fourth,
but
it
should
be,
in
my
opinion
that
either,
I
think
of
the
easiest.
If
we
just
ask
the
commissioners
to
break
their
ties
themselves,
so
we
wouldn't
have
to
mess
around
with
the
ranking.
B
So
I
have
some
comments
I
just
remember.
Last
year
after
we
provide
the
score
and
we
have
some
discussion,
we
still
have
chance
to
adjust
our
score.
I'm
not
sure
if
my
memory
is
correct.
So
that
means,
if
there's
some
organization
with
the
same
score,
maybe
commission
after
discussion,
they
can't
adjust
that
to
avoid
that
scenario,
is
that
true.
B
Okay
and
best
chair
bigger,
please
speak.
E
I
thought
you
know
the
way
we
would
resolve
it.
I
mean
it's
like
two,
commissioner,
I
mean
we
have
two
opposing
organizations
that
we
have
the
same
number,
for
we
can
go
into
a
discussion
and
kind
of
decide.
You
know
which
one
we
want
to
rank
as
opposed
to
just
you
know
that
we
we
do
want
to
stick
with
the
one
two
three
four
five:
six,
as
opposed
to
two
ones
and
two
twos.
K
K
We
have
three
that
get
rated
a
number
one,
because
what
she
starts
doing
is
averaging
the
the
rank
score,
not
just
the
total
score.
K
K
So
it's
a
technical,
statistical
anomaly
that
can
occur
and
then
at
the
end,
if
we
have
things
that
are
tied,
you
know
based
on
the
averages
and
all
that
we
can
still
discuss
that,
but
I
think
in
going
into
the
spreadsheet,
we
should
be
clear
of
how
we
rank
them
either
and
if
we,
if
we
feel
like.
Oh
my
god,
these
two
were
tied.
I
can't
make
a
distinction
between
them.
Then
they
should
not
both
get
the
same
ranking.
They
should
get
an
average
of
wherever
they
are.
B
B
If
you
have
that,
you
should
adjust
it
to
make
them
higher
lower
before
you
submit
the
score,
so
the
staff
can
have
a
clear,
clear
rank
of
from
maybe
1
to
10
for
all
these
organizations,
and
the
second
scenario
is
after
we
submit
the
score
out
and
the
staff
do
the
average
and
then
some
organization
may
have
the
same
score.
So
at
that
time
we
can,
because
we
are
going
to
discuss
about
this-
maybe
after
the
duplication,
commissioners
can
change
their
score
and
make
the
ranking
to
yeah
to
differentiate
them.
That's
what
I
understand
and.
B
And,
thank
you
vice
versa.
E
E
Because,
again
let
me
be
very
clear
if
we
had
complete
you
know
an
open
budget
we'd
be
able
to
fund
everything,
but
there
are
some
things
we
know
we
cannot
fund.
So
you
have
to
make
a
decision
somewhere,
and
I
made
a
bunch
that
I,
in
my
mind,
can
find
the
money
somewhere
else,
so
I
have
rank
them
low
and
there's
a
bunch
that
have
the
low
score.
F
F
B
So,
commissioner,
stannic.
K
Yeah,
I
think
to
vice
chair
the
gore's
point.
I
think
it's
it's
important
because
your
scores
get
averaged
with
everyone
else's,
and
so,
if
you
have
four
of
them
ranked
15
instead
of
15
16
17
at
18,
that
makes
a
difference
to
the
averages
and
the
excel
spreadsheet
is
going
to
do
that
and
I
I
think
it's
easier
to
distinguish
it
as
you
give
your
scores
than
after
they
go
into
a
consolidated
worksheet.
H
K
Is
less
important
than
the
ranking
when
we
look
at
it
later
so.
B
So
I
have
a
suggestion,
maybe
for
each
commissioner:
maybe
they
can
have
some
some
organization
the
same
ranking,
but
we
just
make
sure
after
we
add
them
up
after
staff,
add
them
up
and
the
final
list
the
score
we
we
should
target
to
make
sure
the
final
score.
There
won't
be
any
two
organizations
have
the
same
same
score,
and
that
makes
the
make
it
simpler.
B
So,
even
if
one
commissioner,
maybe
they
have
two
or
three
organizations
or
ranked
as
ranked
as
six,
but
because
other
commissioners,
they
have
different
ranking
for
this
reorganization.
So
at
the
end,
if
we
check
the
average,
they
still
have
different
score.
We
can
yeah
see
the
difference
of
them.
Would
that
make
it
simpler,
otherwise
looks
like
at
least
two
commissioners
need
to
go
back
to
change
their
score.
D
D
So
I
would
say,
let's
go
through
the
process,
as
rachel
said,
we
will
do
our
best
not
to
make
sure
all
have
equal
one,
so
we
will
do
it
and
when
we
voted,
but
when
it
comes
to
your
cumulative
score,
where
there
is
a
tie,
then
at
the
time
we
individually
as
a
commissioners
will
have
an
opportunity
to
go
and
make
a
modification
to
make
sure
that
we
don't
give
this
headache
to
rachel
and
the
staff
to
figure
it
out
what
to
do
it.
So
we
should
help.
D
F
Well,
my
suggestion
is,
I
mean,
obviously
look
at
your
scores,
but
if
we
can
start
putting
scores
in
that
would
be
great.
B
Okay,
so
now
we
need
to.
B
Oh
okay,
but
I
I
haven't,
got
the
total
score
for
several
organizations.
I
need
some
time
to
calculate
yeah.
Okay,.
G
Thank
you
for
the
information
we'll
keep
moving,
though,
and
if
everybody
doesn't
mind,
if
I
don't
formally
call
out
their
commissioner
and
last
name,
if
I
could
just
use
your
first
names
to
get
through
this
as
quickly
as
possible,
so
sashay
do
you
have
your
unaware
total.
D
G
J
G
Okay
and
then
mina,
I
don't
know
if
you're
ready
yet.
B
So
the
first
one
80.
G
80.,
okay,
sorry
pal
palisados
foundation,.
B
Yeah
this
one
50
sashi.
G
D
G
B
I
have
eight
787
77.
G
D
H
G
G
D
G
D
D
D
J
G
Great
sorry,
sema
88
88,
okay
and
women,
sv
mina,
71
sashi,
eight,
eight.
Eighty
eight
carol.
K
G
D
G
D
G
G
D
D
G
J
A
D
B
H
E
D
B
G
G
Sema
42
32
and
then
coop
rotary
club,
rotary
club
of
cupertino
mina.
What
do
you
find
was
that
45
or
35
sorry
45
45.,
okay,
sashi?
A
J
F
E
D
G
Okay
and
sema,
58,
okay
and
then
west
valley,
community
services,
mina
74,
74,
sashi,
75,
ninety-five,
yeah,
okay,
carol,
92
go
back,
it's
sashy's
95.!
It's.
G
D
D
B
G
Okay,
so
at
this
time
we
were
going
to
ask
for
commissioner
questions
and
then
go
to
public
comment.
So
if
you
want
to
leave
the
discussion
chair.
B
Okay,
so
yeah,
if
you
have
any
comments,
commissioner,
please
raise
your
hand,
commissioner
stannic.
K
B
Yes,
I
remember
this
discussion
because
in
the
past
we
from
the
some
problem
is
some
commissioner:
they
gave
score
like
the
range
from
40
to
70
and
some
other
commissioners.
They
give
score
from
maybe
10
to
90..
So
that
means
the
the
one
who
the
difference
is
larger.
They
may
override
the
priority
of
the
commissioner,
who
always
gives
score.
You
know
close
to
the
average,
so
we
think
maybe
yeah,
maybe
it's
fair
to
use
the
rank
from
each
commissioner
and
to
get
the
average
from
the
ranking
only
not
the
raw
score.
B
Only
yeah,
that's
a
history
story.
I
remember,
and
I
see
last
year,
baker
have
something
to
say.
D
Sorry
chair
or
whoever
can
help
me
to
clarify
so
now
there
is
the
overall
ranking,
and
now
we
have
individual
ranking.
So
are
we
going
to
take
an
average
of
our
ranking,
not
the
raw?
H
May
I,
as
a
statistician,
suggest
that
the
raw
scores
should
be
you
know
you
should
have
some
combination
of
raw
score
and
ranking.
Otherwise.
The
whole
point
of
the
raw
scores
has
no
validity
and
it's
you're
basically
throwing
out
the
differentiations.
H
K
So
from
what
it
just
depends,
I
mean
we
have
very,
we
are
very.
The
commissioners
are
very
different
in
the
way
they
they
they
score
things,
and
so
that's
where
chair
shoe
was
talking
about.
If
commissioners,
you
know
if,
if
someone
gives
all
a's-
and
somebody
gives
all
f,
that
really
excuse
it
if
you're
just
looking
at
the
raw
scores,
so
a.
H
The
point
is
sorry:
should
I
raise
my
hand
first
before
I
speak,
the
point
is
well
taken,
but
if
you
really,
if
there
is
a
lot
of
variability,
but
if
you
really
look
at
the
scores
on
the
on
the
screen
right
now,
I
don't
think
that
there's
a
kind
of
wild
variability,
for
example,
if
somebody
gave
everybody
20s
and
30s,
and
somebody
else
gave
everybody
90s
that
would
work.
That
would
absolutely
be
the
case
right
right
now.
H
We
are
pretty
well
spread
out
in
pretty
much
the
same
interval,
so
I
don't
think
that
becomes
that
much
of
an
issue
at
the
very
least.
If
you
do
want
to
take
the
ranking
into
account,
I
would
say
find
a
way
of
making
a
combination
between
the
ranking
and
the
raw
score,
but
don't
discard
the
rod
scores
per
say,
especially
given
that
that
has
a
lot
more
information,
and
the
other
issue
is
is
something
that
I'm
not
really
seeing
on
the
screen.
G
Sure
so,
just
looking
at
the
rankings,
there
are
not
that
many
that
have
been
duplicated.
I
think,
if
you
look
at
go
paul's,
he
has
several
eights
and
several
twelves
a
couple
of
a
few
fours,
and
then
there
are
a
couple
others
that
have
been
duplicated.
So
if
you
want
to
go
through
and
choose
which
ranking
to
update
gopal
based
on
the
thai
scores
that
you
have,
we
can
certainly
do
that
and
then
I'm
trying
to
just
look
at
what
other.
G
Maybe
duplications
have
happened,
and
I
don't
know
if
anybody
else
sees
any
oh,
two,
tens
and
minas.
So
I
don't
know
a
if
you
want
to
change
the
raw
score
to
change
the
rank
or,
if
you'd
just
like
to
change
the
ranks
or,
if
there's
an
opinion
that
nobody
wants
to
change
the
ranks.
It's
up
to
the
commission
as
a
whole,
we're
not
trying
to
navigate
the
discussion,
but
we
have
taken
into
consideration
both
the
rankings
and
the
average
scores.
B
Yeah,
commissioner,
please
speak.
Thank
you.
D
Yeah,
so
that's
word:
when
I
went
there,
I
tried
to
do
that
in
the
face
value
of
them.
So
yes,
I
I
know
that
when
I
came
into
it,
I
didn't
stack
rank
exactly
one
two,
whatever
it
is
because
it's
I
divided
two
things
one
is
on
an
existing
one,
separate
stack,
ranking
and
the
returning
one.
I
did
a
separate
stack
ranking.
I
didn't
put
all
together.
That's
where
the
mix
up.
If
I
need
to
go
on
to
change
the
score
for
it,
absolutely
I
can
do
that
to
you.
D
I'm
not
sure
what
the
process
is
and
if
you
go
by
one
by
one
with
the
commissioners
may
not
assassinate
conflicts
and
by
the
time
I'll
be
ready
on
where
I
would
like
to
change
the
score
which
will
because
I
do
not
know
when
I
do
a
stack
ranking
it's
not
going
to
help.
Rather,
I
need
to
change
the
score.
Then
that
is
derived
that
would
derive
my
stack
ranking
right.
So
I
don't
want
to
change
the
ranking
based
on
the
score.
It
will
rank.
G
D
G
We've
set
up
the
excel
spreadsheet.
If
you
don't
change
the
raw
score,
I
think
the
ranking
will
populate
you
know
associated
to
the
raw
score.
I
think
we
would
have
to
do
some
fancy
maneuvering
to
keep
the
raw.
C
G
G
Score
so
any
any
of
the
ratings
that
you've,
given
that
are
duplicates,
need
to
either
go
up
or
down
one
so
that
you
don't
have
any
duplicates
so
say
that
you
have
three
that
are
scored
at
75.
You
might
want
to
put
one
at
76
one
at
75
and
one
at
74..
D
Okay,
if
I
go
by
like
just
a
quick
example,
if
there's
a
fourth
one,
has
eight
three
months
call
district
and
then
I
have
two
other
eight
eight.
So
I
need
to
change
those
course
a
little
bit
I
just
so
that
it
reflect
properly.
D
J
H
Since
my
hand
is
up
my
you
have
already
answered
my
question,
I
was
pointing
out
the
same
thing
that
you
were
talking
to
commissioner
kumar,
but
I
was
also
marveling
at
how
I
am
averaging
the
top
four
ranks
of
the
whole
five
groups:
okay,.
K
G
Go
paul,
do
you
have
your
updates
yet
or
yeah.
D
G
D
D
No,
the
omnivore
I'll
keep
it
at
75.
I
think
yeah,
the
the
buddhist
one
I'll
go
to
73.
Then
you
have
70
70
and
then
I'll
have
a
65
and
then
I'll
make
it
to
64
and
63..
That's
exactly
the
order
I
had
it.
D
H
G
G
We'll
just
double
check
this
real
quick
looks
good,
oh
213s,
you're,
right
mina,
you
have
213.
so
cupertino
and
palustatos
one
needs
to
be
either
51
or
49..
G
Okay,
so
then
we
can
talk
about
the
commissioner
averages
after
when
we
have
our
discussion
and
you
can
talk
about
changing
those
as
a
group.
So
any
further
questions
regarding
information
that
we've
input
before
we
go
to
the
public
and
then
we'll
come
back
for
comment.
D
Yeah,
thank
you.
Maybe
you
can
refresh
my
memory,
dr
joanne,
so
going
for
the
public
comments
and
then
are
we
planning
to
based
on
the
comments?
Are
we
planning
to
make
some
changes
or
with
the
purpose
of
public
comment
and
what
the
next
step?
I
just
want
to
understand.
Oh.
G
Sure
sure
so
we
are
we're
at
the
step
where
commissioners
can
ask
any
questions
about
the
input
information.
Then
we
will
go
to
public
comment
to
have
anybody
comment
and
then
you'll
come
back
for
your
discussion,
make
any
changes
and
then
you'll
finalize
your
recommendation
with
a
motion
and
a
second
for
what
you'll
recommend
to
council.
B
K
So
I
guess,
if
we
look
at
what's
really
awesome
here
is,
as
sema
had
pointed
out.
If
you
look
at
the
commission
ranking
which
is
based
on
the
raw
score
and
the
ranking
average,
they
pretty
much
line
up,
which
is
which
is
really
great
to
see.
So
I'm
very
happy
to
see
there's
a
couple
towards
the
bottom
that
maybe
are
flipped
around
a
lot
a
little
bit.
So
I
I
think
it's
just
a
good
proof
that
these
do
line
up.
So
I
guess
I'd
like
to
see.
K
Oh
there's
a
cumulative
total.
Thank
you.
I
just
hadn't
gotten
to
that
part
of
the
spreadsheet.
Yet
so,
if
we
look
at
that,
if
we
you
know
we're
going
to
96
just
on
these,
you
know
with
first
pass
at
all
of
this.
You
know
for
95
to
100
000
dollars
or
somewhere
between
cusd
and
young
theme,
so
yeah
very
interesting.
B
Okay,
so
any
other
comments
on
this
ranking
and
okay,
commissioner
kumarapan,
please
speak.
D
Thank
you
chair,
so
yeah
I'd
agree
a
second.
What's
the
commission
stank
said
it's
like
sometimes
magic
happens
and
I
think
each
one
of
our
own
inputs
understood
that's
coming
together
nicely
the
next
steps
on
that
we
said
that
90
is
that
two
questions
one
is
to
the
staff
for
dr
johanna
and
rachel.
Is
it
a
90k
or
what
is
that
allocated
budget,
or
at
this
point,
is
it
90k
or
96k?
The.
D
I
think
seventy
to
ninety,
so
it
looks
like
a
little
bit
over,
but
still
that's
one
question
and
number
two.
So
are
we
going
to
use
the
same
tier
kind
of
because
in
case,
if
you
have
a
budget
extra
additional
budget
comes
into
play,
then
are
we
going
to
recommend
that
okay,
we
can
go
in
the
same
stack,
ranking?
We
don't
have
to
pick
anything
but
assuming
that
they
give
100k
now
xing
will
become
eligible.
If
you
become
130k
until
rotary
club
will
become
eligible,
is
it
can
we
make
that?
G
We
supply
this
document
as
part
of
the
staff
report
attachments
when
this
item
comes
before
council,
so
they
will
see
how
you
ranked
it
and
if
there
is
potentially
additional
funding
or
they
want
to
fund
additional
things,
they
will
see.
You
know
the
amount
requested,
the
cumulative
total.
All
of
this
information
is
put
forward.
D
G
D
Yeah,
how
do
I
map
this
one
into
those,
because
it's
a
stack
rank
across
all
tiers,
but
if
I
have
to
go
and
say
whether
the
tr1,
which
is
less
than
whatever
5000
whatever?
Where
is
that
criteria
getting
applied
here
in
in
the
at
least
allocation,
because
we
have
overall
right
all
of
them?
How
do
I
see
that
as
a
which
tier
it
falls
into.
G
Right
so
amount
requested.
I
think
that
we
only
had
one
group
in
tier
one,
which
was
brief
area.
California,
actually
it
shouldn't
be
tier
one.
No,
we
didn't
have
anything
yeah,
that's
right.
It
shouldn't
have
been
tier
one
that
needs
to
be
updated.
Actually
on
that
spreadsheet.
So
rochelle,
on
brief
california,
it
should
be
tier
two
two.
G
So
there
were
no
tier
one
requests
just
tier
two,
and
so
we
can
look
at
those
if
you'd
like
on
the
spreadsheet.
So
anything
between
one
and
five
thousand
dollars,
basically
is
tier
two.
So
if
you
were
to
do
the,
if
we
take
the
cut
off
at
the
ninety
six
thousand,
just
for
argument's
sake
between,
because
you
know
it's
between
the
seventy
and
ninety,
there
are
two
tier
twos.
D
Yeah
I
may
suggest
to
rachel,
maybe
on
the
next
one
column
before
the
applicant.
You
can
just
put
tier
one
here
to
kind
of
just
for
information,
because
I
need
to
map
between
which
one
tier
one
kind
of
even
for
the
city
council
will
be
useful
and
say
where
it
will
be
good
to
add
additional
column
after
the
cumulative
total
before
the
applicant
and
say
which
tier
they
fall
into.
D
G
We
can
certainly
add
that
column
to
this
spreadsheet
before
it
gets
distributed
to
council.
B
Thank
you
for
the
comments.
Commissioners,
remy.
H
G
So
the
tier
is
just
an
additional
thing
for
your
consideration
and
it's
always
helpful
for
us
to
look
at
the
big
picture
about
how
many
different
organizations
are
requesting
funding
in
each
of
the
tiers.
But
it
doesn't,
it
doesn't
preclude
you
from
you
know,
awarding
anything.
Okay.
H
B
So
when
we
talking
about
tears
in
the
past,
there
were
two
definitions,
so
the
first
thing
up
here
is
tier
1
to
tier
4
depends
on
the
requested
amount
and
another
tier
we
used
before.
I
remember
last
year,
when
we
write
the
recommendation
letter
to
console
we
made
is
a
tier
one
or
we
use
group
username
group,
one
group,
two
groups,
three,
because
before
that,
when
we
write
the
recommendation
letter,
we
didn't
give
council
members
a
tier.
So
that
means
when
they
have
extra
funding.
B
They
just
give
partial
funding
for
all
the
organizations
that
didn't
get
funded,
but
last
year
we
sent
them
a
recommendation
letter
and
gave
them
three
tiers.
So
that
means
the
tier
one.
We
hope
all
of
them
get
the
full
funding
and
if
council
have
extra
funding
the
tier
two,
it's
okay
for
council
to
make
decisions,
they
may
give
them
partial
funding,
sixty
percent
or
fifty
percent,
whatever
they
have,
and
we
recommend
council
when
they
think
about
partial
funding.
B
G
I
think
I'd
like
to
use
a
different
word,
but
you're
correct.
If
you
made
recommendations
based
on
groupings
just
to
you
know,
you
know
to
further
clarify
just
so
that
we
don't
confuse
ourselves
and
what
we're
talking
about,
but
yes,
you're,
correct,
and
I
think
that
the
red
groups
are
definitely
ones
that
you
would
not
recommend
for
funding,
and
so
we
can
include
that
in
that
grouping.
But
again,
that's
based
on
your
motion
but
happy
to
update
this
form
and
help
the
conversation
in
any
way.
G
K
You
yeah,
I
think,
when
we
send
this
to
council,
I
think
we
should
be
very
explicit
that
for
the
names
of
those
that
we
considered
ineligible
two
years
ago,
I
think
the
mistake
we
made
was
that
we
only
sent
them
the
ones
that
we
recommended
and
they
didn't
even
see
the
packages
for
all
the
rest
of
them,
and
then
they
had
more
money
and
they
were
feeling
very
generous
because
of
kobet,
and
they
just
said:
okay,
everybody
else
we're
going
to
fund
path
and
they
didn't
even
look
at
the
details,
and
that
was
very
frustrating
for
the
commission,
and
so
I
think
we
learned
something.
K
K
The
other
distinction
that
I
think
we
want
to
make
clear
that
would
be
really
helpful
here
for
us
to
see
are
which
of
these
are
new
to
the
program.
Is
that
easy
to
pull
out?
K
Because
I
think
council
has
been
very
interested
in
that
in
the
past
in
hoping
that
we
fund
additional
organizations,
at
least
for
a
startup,
and
I've
heard
that
numerous
times
that
gee,
if
we
give
them
money
one,
then
they
should
be
able
to
get
going
afterwards,
and
so
that
could
be
part
of
our
discussion
and
in
looking
at
where
we
draw
the,
I
mean
we're
drawing
a
line,
but
we
aren't
drawing
a
line.
Really
council
is
deciding
the
actual
budget,
their
budget
recommendation.
It
can
give
us
a
sense.
K
So
if
there's
somewhere
right
on
the
border
line
that
we
want
to
move
one
up
or
down,
I
think
that's
really
where
we
might
want
to
look.
But
if
you
look
at
you
know
the
one
that
takes
us
to
96
000
is
cusd,
which
is
a
it's
a
big
amount,
and
so
I
think
that's
a
very
important
one,
but
we
might
you
know:
do
we
want
to
just
push
it
a
little
more
and
get
young
zine
in
there
I
mean
so
cusd
is
new.
Young
xena
is
new.
K
I
think
omniware
is
new.
American
cancer
society
is
new
in
this
context.
K
G
And
I
just
want
to
also
point
out
thank
you
staff
for
updating
that
much
appreciated
on
the
fly.
The
other
item
that
I
just
want
to
highlight
was
there
were,
I
think,
two
organizations
that
didn't
necessarily
say
that
they
needed
the
full
funding,
and
so
I'd
like
to
highlight
those
in
case
those
were
in
the
groupings,
so
that,
if
there
is,
you
know
a
attempt
to
get
to
a
certain
number
that
we
at
least
know
what
those
groups
are.
B
Okay
and
commissioner
kumar
pan
has
more
comments.
D
Yeah,
thank
you.
I
think
I
think
you,
the
director,
said
she
can
read.
The
lip
and
correctly
said,
looks
like
I'm
reading
the
minds
of
commissioner
stannick.
So
I
was.
I
have
this
similar
comments.
Number
one
is
definitely
the
when
we
present
this
one
spreadsheet.
I
would
like
to
take
the
bottom
one
out
and
put
it
as
a
separate
that
hey
by
the
way
this
is
a
separate
public.
I
don't
want
to
mix
in
this
one
because
the
moment
they
see
they
don't
see
the
color
and
center.
They
just
make.
D
Okay,
let's
do
a
wide
spread,
peanut
butter
approach,
which
we
don't
want
it
they
are
not
eligible
to.
That
means.
We
are
doing
this
justice
to
the
other
people
who
are
became
eligible
and
put
a
due
diligence.
So
we
like
to
take
those
four
out
and
present
separately
separate
slide,
not
to
be
part
of
the
spreadsheet
at
all.
So
that's
one
that
they
know
that
this
is
only
the
candidates
where
the
money
can
go.
So
that
would
be
number
one
ask
the
second
one
exactly
on
the
because
we,
I
think,
should
stand
up
said.
D
We
said
we
have
bootstrap
for
those
new
things
first
time,
they're
coming,
can
we
bootstrap
and
if
they
ask
only
five
thousand
two
thousand
three
thousand
in
this
case,
one
of
them
palace
of
those
which
I
know
that
I
went
through
it.
This
is
for
scholarship
for
jamaica
and
the
people
do
it.
So
this.
D
But
the
first
time
they're
coming
to
it
under
bootstrapping
right
so
it'll
be
good
to
I
know
rachel
you
started
updating
the
applicant
one.
I
would
just
to
be
on
the
clear
I
would
like
just
use
the
same
one
as
a
separate
column
return
a
new
so
that
you
can
even
sort
it,
and
you
can
do
that
because
otherwise,
I
know
returning
new
data
will
be
embedded
in
the
same
organization
name
if
you
just
create
a
column
and
put
that
one
as
a
new
or
returning.
F
D
D
F
B
Thank
you
for
your
comments,
commissioner.
Stanley.
K
So
I'm
thinking
it
would
be
possibly
useful
for
us
to
maybe
draw
a
line
somewhere
and
then
for
those
that
don't
make
it.
I
think
I
have
some
comments
about
those
that
may
not
make
it
bit
of
that
are
ranking
a
little
lower
than
they
they
may
have,
and
there
may
be
different
avenues
for
funding
for
some
of
those
organizations.
K
So
so
I'm
going
to
just
put
this
out
there
are
you
ready
for
a
motion
and
then
we
can
discuss
the
motion.
K
Smile
would
you
like
a
motion
to
the
chair,
gets
to
the
side.
B
D
B
D
Absolutely
I
think
we
need
to
the
since
the
commission
standing
started
on
it.
We
need
to
draw
a
line,
and
I
want
to
be
very
clear
on
the
recommendation.
It
has
to
be
very
clear
what
that
motion
is
once
we
draw
a
line,
and
what
does
that
mean
if
the
more
fun
comes?
What
are
we
recommend
last
time,
even
though
we
said
in
the
groups
what
not,
but
somehow
that
got
missed
in
in
the
in
the
decision
making.
D
So
the
motion
is
I
assuming
the
motion
is
draw
a
line
based
on
the
funding
you
allocated
so
far
again,
I'm
just
trying,
to
paraphrase
the
commission
stan
x,
is
about
to
make
a
motion
so
draw
a
line
somewhere,
for
example,
at
the
10,
which
seems
to
be
like
96.
That's
all
the
fun
we
have,
but
if
you
have
more
funding
the
cub,
we
recommend
the
council
to
go
in
the
order.
We
stack
ranked
them.
G
If
I
might
just
jump
in
here,
I
just
would
love
for
us
to
out
of
the
gate,
make
one
motion
for
what
the
recommended
funding
is,
and
then
we
can
always
make
additional
motions
about
additional
things
that
we
want
to
do.
D
G
K
You'll
indulge
me
I
actually
like
where
this
fell
out
it,
that
is
nine
organizations,
it
looks
like
four
of
them
are
returning
and
five
of
them
are
new,
although,
as
we
know
relay
for
life,
is
you
know,
they're
a
partner
of
the
cities
for
a
number
of
years,
so
I
I
do
like
where
that
that
line
runs
and
to
the
extent
that
the
city
has
more
money
from
cobid
funds
or
whatever
they
can.
Certainly
look
beyond
that.
K
I
I
do
have
some
comments
about
the
ones
that
are
under
the
line
and
and
the
reason-
and
I
think
that's
a
decent
place
to
draw
the
line.
The
tian
hung
foundation,
which
is
prize
money
for
art.
K
The
reason
that
I
had
that
blower
and
I
think
that's
what
it
is
room
if
I'm,
if
I'm
wrong
there,
the
fine
arts
commission
has
an
emerging
artist
and
another
artist,
they
do
their
own
thing
and
I
think,
if
there's
additional
money,
that
I
think
that
the
fine
arts
commission
might
be
in
a
better
position,
and
I
think
they
would
be
in
a
great
position
to
to
be
doing
that.
K
I
would
like
to
recommend
that
the
the
sister
city
of
venezuela
actually
be
consistent
with
the
other,
with
the
other
sister
cities
and
going
ahead
and
asking
for
the
fee
waivers,
and
I
I
think
the
city
will
probably
look
favorably
upon
that.
So,
if
you're
not
funded
here,
I
wouldn't
be
too
distressed.
I
mean
it's
disappointing.
It
may
be
disappointing,
but
I
think
that
there
are
other
ways
for
you
to
be
funded
for
that.
So
those
are
the
two
that
I
wanted
to
call
out
specifically.
K
K
Part
discussion
discussion
for
what
I,
what
I'm
thinking
and
how
I
think
other
commissions
could
think
about
it
as
they're
deciding
to
vote
yes
or
no
on
this
particular
line
on
this
motion.
B
C
All
right,
commissioner
kumar.
Yes,
mr
understanding.
J
J
E
B
G
So,
if
I
might
through
the
chair,
if
we
want
to
go
back
and
have
a
further
discussion
about
any
other
recommendations,
you'd
like
to
make
for
council,
we
can
certainly
bring
that
list
back
up.
So
if
you
wouldn't
mind
re-sharing
your
screen-
and
you
know
you
don't
have
to-
but
I
just
wanted
to
give
you
an
opportunity
before
we
move
on
to
the
next
item.
B
Looks
like
yeah
my
spear
pig
or
have
something
to
say.
E
All
right,
so
I
think
we
should
make
a
motion.
I
mean
just
that
the
past
experience
tells
us
that
they
always
have
a
little
bit
more
money
than
we
think
they
do.
So.
I
think
we
need
to
come
up
with
a
recommendation,
for
you
know
if
they
have
come
up
with
extra
money.
What
we
want,
how
we
as
a
commission
would
like
them
to
grant
the
money.
E
The
community
funding,
of
course,
they'll
do
whatever
they
want
to
do,
but
yeah
we
don't
want
to
do
the
2020
situation
where
they
just
rank
whatever
and
give
anybody
and
everything
so
very
much
agree
with
all
the
discussion
so
far.
So
let's
actually
go
forward
and
say
what
is
the
next
level
if
they
find
another
20,
000
or
whatever,
and
if
they
are
able
to
fund
185
000,
you
know
that's
fantastic,
but
what
what
groups
do
we
want
them
to
fund?
E
Above
and
beyond
the
numbers?
Two
to
ten.
J
B
So,
commissioner,
kumarapan.
D
Yeah,
so
that's
exactly
my
point
too.
I
think
we
need
to
make
a
motion,
especially
I
want
to
I
can
just
put
in
there
and
if,
if
I
end
up
in
making
emotion,
I
will
but
idea
is
to
really
recommend
the
council
that
if
any
extra
fund
comes
in
would
like
to
make
sure
that
they
go
through,
they
honor
the
recommendations
we
have
given
in
the
stack
ranking
and
through
which
we
would
like
them
to
do.
Yes,
too,
final
edition
is
theirs
understand,
but
at
least
I
want
to
have
a
recommendation
to
them.
D
G
Yeah,
no,
I
I
totally
understand
I
just
want
to
be
super
explicit.
So
if
you
are
to
make
a
motion,
I
just
want
to
make
sure
I
understand
what
the
motion
might
be,
so
that
you
would,
if
there
is
additional
funding
to
fund
in
order
of
the
stack
ranking
that
is
left.
So
that
would
be
if
there
was
extra
funding.
Young
zine
would
go
first.
If
there
was
additional
funding,
pyeongchang
foundation
would
go
second
and
so
on
and
so
forth
until
the
cupertino
education
endowment
foundation.
G
Okay,
so
I
think
that's
pretty
clear,
I
don't
know
if
you
want
to
do
a
grouping.
I
think
that
you
know
it
just
makes
it
more
complicated.
If
you
do
a
grouping,
I
think
that
you
know
one
by
one
might
be
a
little
bit
easier.
So
I
I
agree.
I
agree
and
support
that
recommendation,
and
so,
if
there's
any
other
questions
or
comments,
we
can
certainly
speak
to
that
but
happy
to
have
you
make
a
motion
and
see
if
there's
a
second.
D
Sure
chair,
let
me
know
when,
when
you
think
that
I
can
I'll
wait.
D
Thank
you.
I
make
a
motion
with
the
recommendation
to
the
city
council
that
if
additional
funding
is
available
on
this
effort,
we
recommend
to
honor
the
organizations
which
are
stack
ranked.
K
Yeah,
I
guess
my
to
my
previous
point.
I
think
there
are
some
of
these
that
have
other
avenues
to
pursue,
but
there's
also
the
interest
of
simplicity,
and
so
I'm
not
sure
how
we
could
actually
communicate.
K
You
know
that
I
mean
I'd
like
to
see
the
sister
city
go
through
the
fee
waiver
for
and
they
may
get
more
money
through
the
fee
waiver
or
again
the
chiang
hung
foundation
for
prize
money
for
for
art.
The
the
fine
arts
commission
look
at
doing
something
like
that,
because
I
know
actually
in
the
work
plan
there
was
a
suggest
there
was
a
proposal
from
the
fine
arts
commission
to
actually
do
something
very
similar
to
that.
K
So
you
know,
I
think,
there's
other
ways
to
do
it,
but
I
I
am
torn
about
trying
to
make
this
be
simple.
That's
all.
H
G
C
Okay,
commissioner,
kumar
khan.
J
B
H
E
B
G
If
I
might
just
say
a
few
quick
words,
I
just
want
to
express
my
appreciation
to
all
of
the
organizations
that
took
the
time
to
apply
to
all
of
the
commissioners
who
have
such
a
vast
packet
of
information
to
review
and
analyze
and
provide
their
time
for
the
recommendation
and
then,
of
course,
to
rachelle
and
kevin
who
this
is
such
a
big
item
that
they
work
on
over.
G
You
know
a
couple
months
span
and
it
takes
a
lot
of
organization,
so
just
appreciate
everybody's
coordinated
efforts
to
get
this
through
and
we
will
be
making
our
presentation
to
council
in
may.
I
believe
at
one
of
the
council
meetings
for
this
item
and
we'll
keep
you
all
updated
and
let
you
know
what
what
what
day
that
meeting
is,
but
again
just
thank
you
so
much
appreciate
it.
H
Maybe
also
thank
you,
director
of
parks
and
recreation,
joanne
mcgreeney.
Thank
you.
B
Or
any
further
further
discussion
or
motion
just
make
sure
it
looks
like
yeah,
commissioner
kumar
pen
have
something.
D
A
chair
and
director
joanna
and
the
staff,
so
I
need
to
be
a
disrespectful.
I
need
to
sign
off
after
because
I'm
here
in
india
and
go
to
work,
so
I
just
wanted
to
make
sure
I
spent
time
on
this
key
critical
item
at
least
one
of
them,
so
maybe
I'll
be
here
for
another
five
minutes
I'll
sign
off.
I
just
want
to
let
you
and
kevin
and
others
know.
B
H
B
H
G
If
I
might
ask
if
we
could
take
a
just
a
couple
minute
break
and
come
back
at
9
30,
and
that
would
be
fantastic.
D
B
J
B
Okay,
I
just
want
to
make
sure
we
have
three
at
least
three
commissioners
here,
oh
yeah,
we
do
okay,
yeah.
Our
next
agenda
item
is
about
the
cip
about
the
proposed
capital,
improvement
programs.
G
Yes-
and
I
would
like
to
introduce
susan,
michael,
our
capital
improvement
program
manager,
who
was
gracious
enough
to
allow
us
to
skip
her
in
the
order
and
now
that
it
is
9
30
we'd
love
to
turn
this
over
to
you
for
your
presentation
tonight.
Thank
you.
I
I
Excellent
so,
and
now
you
can
see
my
screen,
I
hope
so
tonight
I'm
going
to
be
presenting
just
a
little
background
information
to
set
the
stage
on
the
current
cip
programs
and
then
we'll
go
into
the
proposed
2223
cip
projects
that
especially
those
that
directly
relate
to
the
parks
and
rec
commission.
I
So
current
cip
projects,
we
wanted
to
illustrate
the
magnitude
of
work
that
is
underway
presently
and
there's
no
reason
you
don't
have
to
read
the
whole
list.
We
won't
go
through
it
all,
but
I
just
wanted
to
show
you
that
we
do
have
40
active
projects
and
of
those
40
projects.
12
of
them
are
parks
and
rec
directly
related.
I
We've
also
got
sixteen
bike
and
commercial
commercials
projects,
five
streets
and
grounds
projects
and
seven
facilities,
projects
and
there's
no
hard
and
fast
categories,
but
I
mean
that
like,
for
example,
anything
that's
at
quinlan
usually
does
of
impact
director,
mcgreeney
and
assistant
directors,
rachelle
standers,
but
it's
still
a
facilities
project.
So
there's
definitely
a
lot
of
overlap.
I
I
There
are
some
projects
that
we've
completed
it.
It's
nine
completed
projects
and
six
projects
are
on
hold.
I've
got
lawrence
mini
park
annexation,
it
is,
we
repeat,
we
reported
it
as
completed
last
year,
so
I
didn't
want
to
be
confusing,
but
we
reported
the
acquisition
complete
that
I
annex
gosh
must
be
late,
the
annexation
actually
completed
yesterday.
I
believe
it
still
needs
to
be
received
by
city
council,
but
the
county
needed
to
approve
it
that
went
through
yesterday.
I
So
that's
a
big
win
so,
but,
in
the
meantime,
the
project,
the
design
of
the
master
plan,
is
underway,
but
these
other
projects
that
are
completed
and
we've
got
a
few
projects
that
are
deferred
or
on
hold,
for
whatever
reason,
there's
various
reasons
that
those
projects
aren't
moving
forward
presently.
I
I
I
I
We
have
seven
projects
that
we
are
proposing
on.
Three
of
them
are
very
parts,
related
parks
and
recreated
related
and
and
so
that
they
are
blackberry,
farms
pool
splash,
pad
jolly
man,
all-inclusive
player
area,
we're
proposing
to
add
a
bathroom
for
adults
who
need
assistance,
we're
hoping
to
do
a
study
market
analysis
of
the
major,
the
need
for
major
recreation
facilities
on
the
anza
boulevard
boulevard.
We
are
hoping
to
add
the
buffered
bike
lanes.
I
We
have
done
a
survey
of
the
existing
city
lighting
and
we
want
we
we're
gonna,
do
a
propose
to
council
to
do
a
program
where
we
upgrade
those
lights.
According
to
the
survey,
some
of
the
leds,
some
of
them
aren't
leds
and
need
to
be.
Some
of
the
leds
need
to
be
brought
into
compliance
with
the
dark
sky
ordinance.
I
We
also
have
a
proposal
to
renovate
city
hall
and
add
a
parking
garage
related
to
that
project
and
we're
also
hoping
to
look
at
the
three
residential
properties
that
the
city
owns.
Stockholm
burnt
stockholm,
meyer,
fern
and
blush,
and
we
propose
a
small
project
to
do
inspection
reports
and
some
amount
of
analysis
to
start
the
conversation
about
those
properties
to
restart
the
conversation
about
those
properties.
I
So
I'm
going
to
go
into
the
three
projects
that
were
mentioned
just
a
tiny
bit
and
then
we
can
end
with
questions
so
the
blackberry
farms
pool
splash
pad.
As
you
hopefully
know,
there
is
a
slide
at
blackberry
farms
presently
the
pools
and
that
slide
is
actually
broken
and
it
requires
a
great
deal
of
maintenance,
and
it
also
requires
osha
certification
to
keep
it
in
working
order
or
to
operate
it.
So
it
does
take
additional
staffing.
I
We
are
proposing
to
replace
that
slide
with
a
splash
pad,
which
is
basically
a
water
feature
that
has
various
kind
of
play,
equipment
that
comes
up
from
it
and
it
is
more
accessible.
I
I
I
People
who
come
to
these
playgrounds,
these
types
of
all-inclusive
playgrounds-
and
we
realized,
as
we
started,
to
work
on
the
project
that
the
existing
facilities
bathroom
facilities
are
across
the
park.
It's
over
600
feet,
walking
distance,
so
we're
proposing
to
install
a
bathroom
that
is
adjacent
to
the
new
plate.
Well,
the
existing
play
area
that
will
be
renovated.
I
And
the
next
project
is
a
use
and
market
analysis
in
the
parks
and
recreation
system
master
plan
there
is
one
of
the
findings
is
that
the
city
is
they're,
recommending
that
we
look
into
providing
a
major
recreation
facility,
whether
it
be
aquatics,
fine
arts,
performance
or
other
major
recreation
facilities.
I
There
are
many
questions
about
what
is
appropriate.
What
are
the?
What
does
the
community
want
to
see?
What
does
the
community
usage
support?
Where
can
it
go,
and
how
would
we
finance
such
a
major
project?
So
this
is
the
first
phase
of
trying
to
take
that
ask
to
the
next
level,
as
you
could
say,
by
trying
to
do
an
analysis
of
what
the
existing
conditions
are
and
what's
possible.
I
I
I
So
we've
tried
to
put
there's
some
rhyme
and
reason
here,
the
the
there's,
an
existing
project
to
improve,
add
to
the
park
amenities,
and
we
believe
that
that
funding
will
require
adjustment
and
looking
at
the
scope
expectations,
I
went
prepared
to
do
that
this
year,
they're
still
because
of
covet.
The
project
has
been
slow
to
implement.
It
is
definitely
underway
right
now,
but
we
believe
that
next
year,
we'll
be
coming
back
with
more
requests.
I
The
blackberry
farm
farms
golf
course
study
right
now
is
underway
to
determine
whether
it's
best
to
improve
the
current
golf
course
improve
the
irrigation
or
to
return
the
space
to
natural
habitat.
I
We
believe
that
the
there
will
be
a
major
project
to
come
out
of
that,
so
we're
also
putting
that
on
everybody's
radar
once
it
is
determined
which
direction
to
proceed
with
and
the
quinlan
skylight
does
need
to
be
repaired,
it
isn't
and
it's
not
leaking.
I
have
eminent
failure,
but
the
panels
have
degraded
to
the
point
where
it
is
reasonable
to
it's
important
to
replace
it.
So
there's
other
projects
in
the
years
to
follow.
There's
three.
I
I
I
The
current
budget
will
not
be
sufficient
and
we
will
want
to
increase
the
funding
and
or
change
the
expectations
about
what
can
be
funded
with
that
money
and
similarly,
with
the
playground
replacement
funding,
we're
waiting
for
the
creekside
tot
lock
playground
equipment
to
show
up.
It's
been
a
covert
supply
chain
issue,
that's
driving
us
crazy,
but
when
that
project
those
projects
were
instigated,
it
was
not.
I
We
didn't
account
for
the
amount
of
accessibility
upgrades
are
going
to
be
required
to
each
of
those
playgrounds
that
are
required
by
building
code,
so
that
budget
will
also
need
to
be
increased,
but
we
will
revisit
that
once
we
know
the
cost
of
this
act,
this
first
playground,
since
it's
still
not
implemented,
so
we
will
be
coming
back
in
the
future
with
better
information
before
we
ask
for
additional
funding
and
then
there's
the
major
projects
that
will
come
out
of
things
that
are
happening
now
out
of
the
major
facilities
report,
there
will
be
eventually
a
project
that
comes
out
of
that,
hopefully
memorial
park.
I
We
are
doing
the
master
plan
right
now,
so
we
would
hope
there
would
be
a
project
to
construct
something
out
of
that
and
the
lawrence
midi
master
plan
is
also
underway.
We
will
be
coming
back
for
design
and
construction
of
whatever
it
is
that
is
planned
for
so
those
are
the
future
projects
that
we
have
on
our
radar,
and
that
is
it.
B
B
Okay,
okay,
so
commissioner
stannic
yeah,
you
can
go
first.
K
Thank
you.
Thank
you
for
that
presentation.
Clearly,
a
lot
going
on
for
parks
and
rec
and
public
works.
One
question
I
had.
I
don't
know
if
you're
at
the
stage
that
you
would
know
yet
but
specific
to
the
blackberry
farm
splash
pads.
I
G
So
my
understanding
is
from
the
previous
design
that
was
done
in
like
2012,
that
there
was
the
ability
to
either
put
it
inside
or
outside
the
pool
area.
What
we
would
hope
for
is
designing
it
inside
the
pool
area
and
again
we
don't
know
because
we
haven't
vetted
the
possibilities,
but
the
idea
would
be
to
have
it
similarly
located
to
where
the
pool
slide
is
currently.
B
Okay,
yeah:
what's
here
bigger
now
you
can
talk,
you.
E
Thank
you,
susan
for
the
update.
I
do
have
a
question
with
regard
to
the
use
and
market
analysis
that
you
are
planning
to
do
so
clearly
we're
going
to
get
somebody
to
do
this
business
plan.
So
what
are
the?
What
are
the
deliverables
that
we're
expecting
from
that
person?
Are
they
going
to
be
doing
surveys
or
some?
How
are
they
going
to
get
this
information
to
say
we
need
a
you
know:
arts
performance
art
center
or
we
need
a
pool
or
whatever
that
they
come
up
with.
I
I
think
it's
going
to
be
a
mixed
bag.
There
will
need
to
be
an
analysis,
certain
a
great
deal
of
analysis,
and
I
think
this
is
a
really
a
business
report
and
analysis
primarily
to
look
at
the
operations.
I
What's
the
usage,
and
it
will
also,
I
assume,
in
director
mcgreeny
once
again
I'd
defer
to
you.
We
will
have
to
get
community
input
because
we'll
need
to
be
asking
the
questions
about
what
is
it
the
community
has
the
strongest
need,
for.
We
have
to
find
the
right
ways
to
ask
the
questions.
What
if
we
had
a
cool
facility
in
the
vicinity
of
the
current
sports
center,
something
like
that,
so
it
will
have
to
be
it's
it's
a
very
complicated
project.
In
my
mind,
I
don't
know
if
it's
any
clearer
for
you,
joanne.
G
No,
I
think
that,
there's
out
of
the
master
plan,
there
was
the
recommendation
to
pursue
other
recreational
facilities,
including
gymnasium
usage,
performing
arts,
theater
usage
and
just
identifying
if
there
are
any
locations
that
are
available
in
order
for
that
to
happen
and
what
properties
might
be
available
in
the
city
and
what
the
data
collected
through
the
master
plan
process
kind
of
signified.
What
the
most
popular
things
were.
G
E
There's
a
time
is
there
a
timeline
specified
at
this
point,
I
maybe
I
missed
it.
I
If,
if
we
were
to
have
this
approved
joanne,
do
you
think
you
would
be
able
to
get
this
done
in
the
first
fiscal
year?
I
think
we
should
be
able
to
you.
G
Know,
susan
and
I
are
always
very
optimistic,
and
unfortunately,
sometimes
we
bite
off
more
than
we
can
chew,
and
so
I
would
just
be
cognizant
of
us
we're
designing
three
massive
parks
in
the
city,
an
all-inclusive
park,
our
our
memorial
park,
that's
utilized
for
so
many
different
things
and
we're
building
a
new
park
on
the
east
side
of
town
and
all
of
those
projects
require
a
lot
of
input,
staff,
time
and
community
outreach.
G
G
G
B
And
I
also
want
to
add
some
comments
on
this
topic
so
for
the
location
of
performing
arts
and
recreation
facilities.
I
remember
in
the
past
a
lot
of
community
members
went
to
our
park
and
direct
meeting.
B
Maybe
that
was
in
night
in
2018
or
2019
because
they
said
our
city
is
looking
for,
make
those
big
buildings
and
at
the
same
time
they
are
talking
about
renovation
of
memorial
park.
So
those
community
members
really
worried.
We
are
going
to
make
many
buildings
and
we
sacrifice
all
the
green
lands
in
our
park.
So
that's
some
concern.
B
I
remember
in
the
past
and
at
that
time
actually
we
were
very
sorry
to
see
the
dianza
college
closed
flynn
center.
That's
a
performing
arts
center
that
belonged
to
our
community,
but
without
that
now
our
city
need
to
spend
more
money
building
something
new,
that's
really
a
great
loss
for
our
community
and
for
the
like
the
aquatic
facility.
B
I
think
maybe
we
can
slow
down
the
process
because
the
the
merge
of
the
rancho
riconada
special
district
to
our
city,
because
that
proposal
was
pending.
So
maybe
we
can
slow
down
this
one
and
to
see
if
there
may
be
some
new
progress
after
two
years
or
maybe
after
their
board
member
change,
and
that's
just
my
concern.
G
Yeah
direct
sure
great.
Thank
you.
Yes,
so
you
know
there
are
a
lot
of
things
in
the
master
plan
and
that
are
proposed
for
us
to
pursue.
One
of
those
would
be
to
work
with
the
different
school
districts
in
order
to
utilize
their
facilities
when
they're
under
utilized
in
the
summer
time
or
whatnot,
and
so
we
were
we're
always
working
on
those
relationships
and
those
negotiations
for
space,
whether
it
be
gymnasium
space
aquatic
space,
performing
arts
space,
we're
always
looking
into
those
avenues.
G
G
So
council
asked
for
an
analysis
of
aquatic
facilities
in
the
facility
and
in
the
city,
and
so
this
will
help
us
analyze
what
aquatic
facilities
are
available
and
what
other
opportunities
may
be
out
there
and
we'll
also
analyze
the
rancho
rinconada
pools
as
well,
and
then
the
other
thing
that
commission
has
stated
as
a
priority,
for
you
all
is
the
long-term
planning.
So
we
think
that
this
helps
to
you
know
kind
of
address.
G
The
long-term
planning
that
you
are
all
so
interested
in
making
sure
that
doesn't
fall
off
the
radar,
so
we
were
trying
to
click
a
couple
of
boxes
by
putting
this
project
forward,
and
we
think
that
that's
why
we
are
trying
to
make
it
a
priority
for
next
year.
B
Oh,
if
not
yeah,
let's
ask
for
public
comments,
so
community
members,
if
you
have
anything
you
want
to
comment
for
this
agenda
item,
please
raise
your
hand
if
nobody
want
to
speak.
Let's
go
back
to
discussion.
G
If
we,
if
we
could
just
make
a
motion
to
say
that
you
know
we
support,
you
know
as
a
commission,
if
you
you
know,
it
would
be
helpful
to
say
that
this
has
come
to
the
commission
and
if
you
support
these
projects
to
move
forward,
if
you're
so
inclined-
and
it's
just
helpful
that
you
know
we
can
update
the
staff
report
that
goes
to
council
about
this
item.
B
Okay,
I
I
didn't
realize
yeah.
We
need
to
make
a
motion
to
do
this.
G
I
think
it's
not
really
necessary.
It's
just
helpful,
because
council
is
always
interested
in
knowing
if
this
has
come
before
a
commission
and
what
their
input
and
feedback
would
be.
And
so
we
don't
have
to
make
a
motion.
But
if
you
have
a
strong
feeling
that
you
would
like
all
of
these
to
move
forward
and
a
motion
would
be
helpful
in
order
for
us
to
just
codify
it
in
the
next
staff
report,.
B
B
Okay,
so
anyone
want
promote
for
proposal
motion
to
approve
this
cip
report.
B
So
I
will
propose
a
motion
to
yeah
and
so
park
and
the
recreation
commission
approves
the
capital
improvement
program
for
fiscal
year.
2022-2023.
G
I
might
just
make
a
clarification
just
to
instead
of
approve
support
the
project.
Oh
gossip.
B
Okay,
okay,
so
cupertino
park
and
recreations,
commission
and
yeah.
We
support
the
fiscal
year,
2022-23
capital
improvement
program.
B
K
B
G
Yes,
thank
you.
I
have
a
couple
of
items
to
report
on
this,
so
our
may
meeting
we
were
hoping
to
bring
forward
our
golf
course
reports
and
information.
However,
I
don't
think
it
will
be
ready
by
the
time
our
may
5th
agenda
would
need
to
be
posted,
and
so
I'm
proposing
that
we
do
a
special
meeting
in
may,
instead
of
our
regularly
scheduled
meeting
in
may.
We
also
already
have
two
meetings
scheduled
for
june.
G
We
have
a
regular
meeting
and
our
special
meeting
and
may
will
be
in
fact
our
first
meeting
back
in
person
and
so
was
hoping
that
the
commission
might
be
flexible
with
us
in
order
to
do
a
special
meeting
in
may,
as
opposed
to
our
regularly
scheduled
meeting,
and
I
will
try
and
get
more
information
about
when
that
might
be
to
you
as
soon
as
I
can
but
happy
to
answer
any
questions.
E
You
have
a
question
if
you
can
hear
me:
yes,
the
the
the
issue
is,
if
we
don't
do
it
on
may
5th,
I
have
some
travel
plans
the
following
week,
and
so
I
was
wondering
if
it
can
be
done
as
a
mixed
meeting
with
you
know,
or
is
it
all
you
have
to
be
in
person
so.
G
For
the
hybrid
meeting,
the
the
commissioners,
the
liaisons
and
the
support
staff
all
need
to
be
in
person.
The
only
hybrid
factor
is
that
the
public
can
call
in,
as
opposed
to
commissioners
being
able
to
call
in.
I
think,
that's
my
understanding.
I
could
be
wrong.
G
There
could
be
updates
and
changes,
as
this
is
always
a
moving
target,
but
that
is
my
current
understanding
of
what
the
procedure
would
be
moving
forward
and
again
we
are
going
to
be
just
like
the
city,
council
and
planning
commissions,
because
we
are
a
televised
meeting,
so
we
do
need
to
meet
in
person
for
that
coordination.
G
So
there's
some
other
other
items.
I
will
talk
about
in
my
director's
update
that
pertain
to
this,
but
we're
I'm,
I'm
always
trying
to
be
as
flexible
as
I
can
as
far
as
making
sure
that
we
can
get
as
many
commissioners
present
as
possible.
B
So
I
have
a
question
to
so
the
following
thursday
may,
the
12th.
You
know
I
I
don't
think
I
can
make
it,
but
the
may
19.
The
next
thursday
is
okay,
I'm
not
sure.
If
last
year
we
will
have
the
same
situation.
H
B
H
G
Yeah,
what
I
might
say
is
that
we'll
get
a
few
different
options
together
for
you
all
to
consider.
I
just
didn't
want
to
go
through
that
if
the
commission
was
against
it,
but
we'll
have
to
coordinate
with
community
hall
because
we'll
have
to
be
in
person.
So
it's
not
just
the
video
team
and
securing
the
time
frame
with
them
anymore.
So
we've
got
to
coordinate
room
reservations
as
well,
so
just
wanted
to
kind
of
get
this
on
the
radar.
You
know
with
as
much
advanced
notice
as
possible.
G
Yeah,
we
basically
would
be
canceling
our
regularly
scheduled
meeting
may
5th
and
we
would
be
scheduling
a
special
meeting
to
be
determined
for
may.
Okay,.
B
If
not
do
we
need
to
take
a
motion
to
cancel
the
yeah.
G
B
C
Here
we
go,
commissioner
stanley.
K
B
Okay,
so
the
last
item,
monthly
update
report
or
director
update.
G
Thank
you
just
a
q,
a
few
quick
updates
for
you
all,
I'm
going
to
start
off
with
our
big
bunny
run,
is
on
saturday
april
16th
in
person.
Hope
all
of
you
can
make
it
out
at
the
civic
center
at
8
30
in
the
morning,
so
that
is
next
saturday,
the
saturday
after
that
is
earth
day,
and
that
is
out
at
library
field
this
year
from
11
a.m.
G
To
3
p.m,
wanted
to
just
discuss
really
quickly
with
you
all
that
we
have
in
person
training
for
the
hybrid
meetings
on
april
22nd
in
the
afternoon.
We
can
do
this
all
at
once.
We
don't
have
to
divide
and
conquer
for
any
brown
issues,
so
we
would
be
having
you
come
to
the
room
to
just
be
familiar
with
how
the
meeting
will
be
organized
and
how
the
hybrid
will
happen.
G
So
we
will,
I
think,
kevin
would
like
to
coordinate
to
see
if
you
are
available
for
that
purpose
and
also
wanted,
as
I'm
doing
some
housekeeping
items
with
you
all.
We
have
the
joint
special
joint
meeting
about
the
lawrence
midi
project
planned
for
thursday
june
16th.
So
just
wanted
to
hear
back
from
everybody
if
they're
available
for
that
meeting,
a
couple
other
housekeeping
items
and
I'll
get
back
to
those
dates
for
you
kevin
at
the
end,
but
we
have
hired
several
staff
in
the
last
month
successfully.
G
So
we,
yes,
I'm
very
excited.
We
have
four
new
staff
members,
one
of
which
is
here
tonight
who
will
turn
on
her
camera
for
you,
and
that
is
what
we
like
to
refer
to
as
the
new
whitney.
So
this
is
jessica
javier.
She
is
our
new
administrative
assistant
and
she
is
just
shadowing
tonight
and
so
wanted
to
introduce
you
all
to
her
so
so
happy
to
have
her
as
part
of.
G
And
you
will
be
seeing
her
in
person
next
month,
so
welcome
jessica,
nice.
G
So
the
other
we
have
filled
our
three
rec
coordinator
positions,
some
of
which
the
names
will
sound
familiar
to
you,
mariah
greene,
who
works
in
the
front
office
at
quinlan,
is
going
to
be
our
youth,
and
our
youth
coordinator
and
robert
that
goes
by
bobby
kaufman,
who
is
our
building
attendant,
will
be
doing
the
teen
coordination
and
christina
lopez
and
we'll
be
doing
our
events.
Programs,
so
just
wanted
to
say
how
excited
we
are
about
our
four
new
positions
being
filled.
So
that's
great.
G
Some
of
them
were
promotions,
so
we
have
a
couple
of
gaps
that
we
need
to
backfill
so
still
working
on
it.
The
last
thing
that
I
want
to
mention
to
you
all
is
exactly
what
the
chair
brought
up
and
I
would
love
to
share
my
screen
really
quickly
with
you
all.
G
There
are
two
surveys
that
are
live
that
pertain
to
this
commission
and
if
you
go
to
engage
cupertino
website,
you
can
see
the
all-inclusive
playground
at
jolly
men,
as
well
as
the
lawrence
mini
park
and
trail
master
plan.
This
is
actually
the
location
that
you
can
see
all
of
the
current
projects,
but
these
two
are
the
ones
I
just
want
to
highlight
this
evening.
The
jolly
man
all-inclusive
playground
survey
is
open
until
april
26th
at
5
p.m,
and
so
you
can
just
click
on
this
link
here.
G
You
can
subscribe
in
this
location
to
get
emails
about
the
project
and
then
it
also
lists
in-person
opportunities
as
well.
So
there
will
be
an
earth
day,
a
table
at
earth
day
for
people
to
give
their
input
and
feedback
and
and
share
about
that.
G
So
that's
for
the
all-inclusive
at
jolly
men
and
then
the
lawrence
midi
survey
is
also
open
and
that
survey
will
be
live
until
may
23rd
at
5
00
pm
and
here
are
all
the
other
opportunities
that
are
available
for
in-person
meetings,
community
meetings,
pop-up
events
and
then
our
joint
meeting
is,
you
know
tentatively
scheduled
for
june
16th,
barring
any
disasters,
I'm
not
getting
a
quorum
from
all
the
different
groups.
So
that
is
really
just
my
update
for
this
evening
and
I'm
happy
to
answer
any
questions.
B
Okay,
if
no
other
question,
I
have
some
questions
regarding
the
update
of
our
city
website
and
now
the
engaging
page
looks
really
cool
yeah.
I
like
it
it'll
include
all
the
important
information
and
teach
a
community
member
how
to
get
better
engaged,
how
to
get
provided
their
inputs,
and
I
even
noticed
there
are
some
comments
part.
So
they
can
write
something
freely,
but
only
one
question.
So
in
the
past
we
have
a
page
like
called
open
city
hall.
B
So
on
that
page
all
the
city
service
they
put
on
one
page,
then
community
members
can
just
go
to
that
page
and
then
they
can
see
all
kinds
of
different
survey.
B
B
Maybe
maybe
we
can
add
a
link
on
the
page
and
if
you
click
in
the
link
there
there's
a
list
to
all
the
survey
that
may
help-
and
I
have
another
question
so
I,
as
our
director
mentioned
on
the
project
page
on
the
upper
right
corner,
there's
a
subscription
button.
So
does
that
if
I
fill
in
my
email,
I
will
get
update
for
all
the
projects
or
I've
got
owning
a
project.
B
G
So
this
is
a
different
platform
that
the
city
has
migrated
over
to,
because
I
think
it's
a
little
more
interactive,
so
they
have.
Since
I,
I
believe,
don't
quote
me,
but
I
think
they've,
disabled,
the
open
town
hall
website
and
they've
migrated
everything
over
certainly
great
feedback
about.
You
know
somehow
having
a
bar
or
something
about
open,
active
survey
so
that
you
don't
have
to
click
into
every
box.
G
I
think
that's
great
feedback,
and
you
know,
as
far
as
having
information
come
to
you,
I
think
that
they're
trying
to
do
a
project
specific
but
I'll,
definitely
pass
on
the
feedback
about
getting
updates
about
everything.
That's
going
live
for
the
city
instead
of
by
project
as
well.
Some
people
don't
like
all
that
spam,
so
they're
trying
to
you,
know
be
have
people
have
you
know
you
can
choose
what
they
want
to
be
included
on
yeah,
but
good.
B
B
E
But
I
don't
know
how
how
much
my
audio
will
cooperate
with
me.
Can
you
hear
me?
Yes,
okay,
okay,
so
I
was
at
the
mayor's
meeting
this
past
march
and
then
I
found
myself
meeting
with
the
mayor
every
week,
because
there
was
the
crest
awards
that
we
had
to
kind
of
decide
on
four
of
those
those
awards.
E
So
that
was
an
interesting.
You
know
exercise
for
me,
having
not
done
it
earlier.
Some
of
the
some
of
those
only
had
one
person
in
the
category,
so
you
know
that
person
got
the
award,
which
was
a
little
bit
strange,
but
you
know
it
is
what
it
is.
So
that's
that
was
part
of
the
part
of
the
mayor's
meeting,
but
just
in
overall
you
know
they
were
so
the
city
has.
The
biped
commission
has
a
big
focus
on
what
is
called
a
vision,
zero
subcommittee.
E
They
have
a
subcommittee
which
is
the
vision,
zero
subcommittee,
in
the
hope
that
they
will
be
zero
fatalities
or
serious
injuries.
So
that's
a
very
good
program.
They're
hoping
to
create
you
know
to
ensure
the
safety
they
want
to
make
sure
that
they
have
safe
routes
to
school.
E
I
think
the
housing
commission
was
doing
the
housing
element,
basically
figuring
out
where
we
need
to
put
the
housing,
and
so
that
will
come
for
a
hearing
pretty
soon
or
as
yeah.
I
believe
it
should
be
sometime
now
she
didn't
say
specifically
a
lot
of
the
commissioners
library.
E
Public
safety
couldn't
make
it
nor
technology
that
day,
but
the
sustainability
commission
they
are,
as
the
director
pointed
out,
have
their
earth's
day
celebration
on
april
23rd.
But,
most
importantly,
I
rubbed
it
into
the
mayor
that
when
we
give
them
community
feedback,
community
grant
feedback
and
the
amount
of
time
we
spend
on
it
to
please
take
us
seriously
and
not
do
what
they
did
in
2020.
E
So
I
don't
want
to
keep
everybody
longer,
but
if
you're
interested,
I
can
give
you
more
updates,
but
that
was
just
a
quick,
quick
update
of
what
happened
in
the
mayor's
meeting
and
I'm
hoping
somebody
else
will
do
it.
This
time
you
had
a
question
joanne.
G
Didn't
have
a
direct
question
regarding
your
statement,
but
I
wanted
staff
corrected
me.
Open
town
hall
still
does
exist,
it's
just
for
surveys,
so
all
of
the
projects
that
have
a
project
page
with
the
survey
or
on
engage
cupertino.
So
sorry
to
confuse
everybody
additionally,
but
that's
all
I'm
going
to
say.
G
B
F
Yeah
now
I
just
want
to
explain
so.
If
a
project
has
a
project
web
page
and
a
survey,
it
will
be
on,
engage
cupertino
if
it.
If
there's
not
a
project
page
attached
to
something
we're
just
doing
a
survey,
it
will
be
on
open
town
hall,
but
it
won't
be
on
both
it's
just
depending
on
whether
it's
a
survey
by
itself
or
a
survey
with
a
full
project.
Page.
K
Thank
you.
I
guess
I
can
report
that
I
sat
in
during
the
council
work
plan,
discussions
which
are
ongoing
and
they
continue
and
continue
and
continue.
I
guess
I'd
like
to
ask
the
director
what
their
next
step
is,
what
they've
gone
through
so
far
at
least
four
of
the
five
of
them
rated
all
the
commission
proposals
and
staff
proposals
for
the
work
plan
and
they
added
their
own
proposals,
which
I
believe
they're
going
back
now
to
re-rank
and
get
public
comment
on,
but
I
wasn't
sure
of
the
timing
of
those
things.
K
K
We'll
see
how
that
goes,
staff
had
recommended
with
respect
to
the
labyrinth
that
that
be
not
included
in
the
work
plan
because
it
could
be
incorporated
into
ongoing
operations.
So
hopefully
we
can
make
that
happen.
I
think
mayor
darcy
has
indicated
his
support
for
that.
I
believe
have
said
something
to
the
city
manager
about
that.
So
that's
really
good
news.
So
director,
could
you
give
us
an
update
on
the
next
step?
If
you
have
a
clear
idea.
G
Yes,
so
my
understanding
is
that
the
discussion
will
be
ongoing
and
continued
at
the
april
19th
meeting.
G
But
we
won't
actually
know
until
the
agenda
is
published
next
week.
But
I
think
that's
what
they're
shooting
for
if
they
get
all
the
information
that
necessary
and
if
they
don't.
They
may
do
a
special
meeting
at
another
time.
But
I
think
they're
shooting
for
the
april
19th
meeting.
K
K
G
G
K
Well
right
they
were
supposed
to
do
it
the
last
time
so
council
can
do
whatever
council
wants
to
do
but
yeah,
I
do.
You
know,
recommend
for
commissioners
to
watch
the
council
deliberations
on
these
things,
because
it's
it's
very
informative
and
you
can
see
their
perspective.
I
would
like
to
give
a
shout
out
to
the
the
dola
people
showed
up
this
year
and
you
know
to
show
their
support
for
their
items
and
that
supports
the
parks
and
rec
commission
recommendation
as
well.
K
B
So,
thank
you
for
all
the
information.
I
just
want
to
make
it
clear,
so
you
mean
in
last
council
meetings.
They
only
do
some
deliberation,
but
the
final
ranking
will
be
determined
in
next
council
meeting
on
april
19..
B
G
It
will
be
the
first
hybrid
meeting
I
I
assume
for
council
as
well
so
yeah.
If
you
want
to
come
in
person,
I
think
that's
going
to
be
available
to
you
at
community
hall
and
then
again
just
a
circle.
Has
anyone
not
gotten
back
to
us
about
the
june
16th
meeting?
G
I
just
don't
want
to
move
on
from
this
item
so
april,
22nd
and
june
16th
mark
your
calendars.
Let
us
know
if
those
dates
don't
work
for
you.
One
is
for
the
hybrid
training
in
person
at
community
hall
and
the
other
one
is
for
the
joint
meeting
for
lord
smitty
park
in
june.
C
So
for
the
for
the
training
I'll
try
to
narrow
down
a
more
specific
time
it,
I
can't
see
it
happening
or
being
more
than
like
half
an
hour
to
an
hour
long
but
like,
but
I'll
reach
out
to
all
the
commissioners
on
that
for
the
june
special
meeting.
Actually,
I
believe
seema,
I
believe,
or
do
you
know
if
you're
available
for
that
meeting?
I
don't
think
I
heard
from
you
on
that
particular
meeting.
H
B
Hey
so
is.
B
C
J
C
B
B
Now
it's
10
28.
