From YouTube: Cupertino Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting - February 3, 2022 (Live Streamed Version)
Description
Coverage of the February 3, 2022 Cupertino Parks and Recreation Commission Teleconference Meeting.
A
A
C
C
D
B
C
Yes,
I
do
would
I
would
like
to
nominate
you
know
wise
chairs,
you,
for
the
chairman
position,
chairperson
position
to
be
very
clear.
A
B
Or
comments
vice
chair
of
shu,
I
guess
I
would
ask
you
if
you
would
accept
that,
should
we
vote
to
make
you
chair.
D
Yes,
I
accepted
it.
Thank
you.
B
Okay,
well,
we
haven't
voted
on
it
yet
so
now,
if
there's
no
other
questions,
let's
go
to
attendees
and
see
if
there's
any
public
comment.
F
B
B
Okay,
let's
vote
on
the
new
chair,
we're
on
the
motion
for
vice
chair
shoe
to
become
chair.
C
C
B
B
Okay
and
just
to
finish
off
this
item
before
I
turn
it
over
to
our
new
chair.
Let's
do
I
have
a
nomination
for
a
vice
chair.
B
Okay,
commissioner
vigor,
would
you
accept
that,
should
the
commission
vote
that
for
you-
yes,.
C
B
A
E
D
D
B
Excellent
and
now
before
before
we
move
on
to
the
next
agenda
item,
and
I
turn
it
over
to
vice
chair
shoe-
I
just
want
to
let
to
cherish
you.
I
just
want
to
let
you
know
that
on
the
agenda
item
number
four,
the
strategic
plan
update.
B
I
have
been
given
an
update
from
staff
that
they
that
that
item
is
not
ready
for
presentation
tonight.
Is
that
correct
director
mcgreeny.
B
Okay,
so
I
hereby
turn
the
gavel
over
to
our
new
chair
commission.
Chair
shoe.
Congratulations.
Thank
you.
G
Great
good
evening,
commissioners
and
congratulations
to
the
new
chair
and
vice
chair,
I
want
to
introduce
our
newest
addition
to
our
recreation
team,
our
recreation
manager
sonia
lee,
and
she
is
here
to
provide
the
presentation
on
our
holiday
programs.
That
happened
a
couple
of
months
ago.
Now,
thanks.
H
Good
evening,
commissioners,
as
joanne
said,
I'm
the
new
recreation
manager
in
charge
of
preschool
youth,
teens,
special
events
and
facilities,
and
I'm
excited
to
share
with
you
the
programs
that
were
offered
for
the
holidays
for
2021..
Let
me
go
ahead
and
share
my
screen
here.

H
The
annual
breakfast
with
santa
event
took
place
the
next
morning
on
december,
4th
at
the
quinlan
community
center,
with
more
than
170
community
members
joining
the
city.
We
celebrated
the
holiday
season.
This
year's
event
featured
a
photo
with
santa
letter
writing
to
santa
craft
kits
for
children
and
a
delicious
pancake
breakfast.
H
H
On
saturday
december
11th,
the
parks
and
recreation
department
hosted
a
unique
holiday
event.
Signing
santa
this
event
is
a
one
of
a
kind
in
the
bay
area
and
provided
an
opportunity
for
deaf
and
hard
of
hearing
children
to
talk
to
santa
using
asl
santa
was
accompanied
by
an
interpreter,
so
he
was
able
to
communicate
with
all
attendees
more
than
25
people
attended
the
event
and
enjoyed
crafts,
cookies
and,
more
importantly,
quality
time
with
santa
the
feedback
from
participants
was
heartwarming
when
grandmother
telling
santa
every
death
baby
needs
a
deaf
santa
another.
H
Two
residents
had
the
following
to
share.
The
visit
was
so
wonderful.
It
was
a
little
bit
of
normalcy
and
made
my
little
guys
so
happy.
I
just
wanted
to
thank
you
and
the
team
at
cupertino
parks
and
rec.
Another
resident
said
I
love
the
santa
visits.
We've
participated
every
year
since
2017.,
I'm
so
thankful
to
the
city
for
offering
such
a
wonderful
program.
H
The
senior
center
continued
to
host
holiday
activities
that
engaged
our
cupertino's
seniors
during
the
holidays
on
wednesday
december
15th
seniors
were
able
to
celebrate
the
holidays.
Hawaiian
style
through
our
program
holidays
in
hawaii,
where
seniors
were
able
to
swing
and
sway,
along
with
the
cupertino
center's
lai,
nani,
hula
dancers,
and
the
pilo
hotokani
ban,
as
they
celebrated
the
holidays,
with
hawaiian
songs
and
dances.
H
The
bags
included
hot
cocoa,
tea,
mint,
candy,
a
pair
of
socks
and
gloves,
along
with
a
handwritten
personal
note,
235
seniors
were
able
to
pick
up
their
bags
through
a
drive-through
pickup
at
the
senior
center
once
senior
shared.
We
want
to
thank
you
and
everybody
who
had
a
hand
in
preparing
the
season's
greetings
bags.
They
were
so
much
fun
to
go
through
and
we
enjoyed
everything
that
you
packed
into
them.
H
D
Thank
you
for
the
presentation.
Yeah
there's
a
lot
of
wonderful
events
and
now
is
it
it's
time
for
public
comments,
but
because
there's
no
attendee
public
attendee.
Now
we
just
go
through
the
clarification
questions
from
commissioners.
B
Yeah,
so
this
isn't
a
question
just
a
comment
just
to
thank
you
for
all
of
those
programs,
and
I
think
the
one
really
special
and
unique
one
is
the
signing
santa
that,
I
think,
is
really
one
of
the
most
fantastic
programs
around
and
I'm
just
so
glad
that
we
do
it.
So
thank
you
for
that.
D
Okay,
if
there's
no
other
questions,
I
have
one
clarification
question
like
the
christmas
light
program.
I
just
want
to
know
so
durian
pandemic.
Would
there
be
more
applicant
for
this
holiday
lights
or
less,
because
I
assume
people
if
they
can
only
stay
at
home?
Maybe
more
people
want
to
decorate
their
houses,
so
I
want
to
know
that
just
comparing
to
the
past
years,
the
holiday
maps
program
yeah,
so
the
applicant
of
this
you
know
holiday
lights.
I
want
to
know
compared
to
past
years.
Would
there
be
more
people
want
to
join.
H
I
believe
that
was
our
second
year
doing
that
and
we
did
have.
That
was
one
of
the
most
popular
events
on
the
website.
Again
it
had
almost
20
2600
clicks
through
our
outreach,
so
it
was
very,
very
popular.
I
think
it
probably
was
more
popular
in
2021.
D
Okay!
Commissioner!
F
Thank
you
chair.
No,
I
think,
as
commissioner
carol
said,
this
is
absolutely
moving,
because
the
santa
one
for
the
the
hard-hearing
kids,
as
well
as
on
the
santa
mobile
people,
may
think
that
okay,
this
it
might
have
even
attracted
only
few,
but
I
think
the
effort
put
in
by
the
staff
to
bring
the
spirit
of
the
holidays
and
taking
those
messages
to
the
to
the
the
right
people
and
then
to
the
right
audience,
and
we
said:
okay,
it
doesn't
matter
whatever
it
comes.
F
We
will
not
stop
serving
you.
I
think
that's
the
best
message.
Trust
me.
I
was
even
moved
by
just
hearing
to
it.
I
think
the
staff
put
that
heart
and
soul
behind
this.
I
really
really
appreciate
and
kudos
to
them,
because
you
never
stop,
and
this
is
the
this
is
the
time
we
need
to
get
those
kind
of
messages
to
them
the
community,
I
think
all
the
staff.
I
really
appreciate
director
and
sonia
and
the
staff
worked
behind
this
with
the
decorated
this
mobile.
All
of
them.
It
looks
so
good.
F
I
know
I
I
wish
I
could
have
participated
in
some
other,
but
seeing
itself
it's
really
moving,
literally
because
people
are
looking
for
some
kind
of
an
affection
and
things
from
the
community
from
the
city
to
them,
and
I
think
you
are
representing
it.
I
sincerely
appreciate
it
and
kudos
to
all
of
you.
Thank
you.
D
I
didn't
see
any
other,
commissioner,
with
your
hand,
yeah.
I
want
to
give
some
comments.
Yes,
those
events
are
really
great
and
bring
the
holiday
air
to
cupertino
and
I
joined
the
tree
lighting
program
and
that
that
was
a
cold
day,
but
still
a
lot
of
people
there.
You
know
comparing
to
the
event
event
before
pandemic.
In
the
past
it
was
indoor,
but
now
only
outdoor,
but
I
see
still
many
people
and
a
lot
of
kids.
D
They
are
very
exciting
and
despite
of
the
cold
weather,
they
stay
there
for
a
long
time
and
they
there's
a
long
line
waiting
for
the
center
to
give
kids
gift
and
thanks
for
the
santa
there's,
a
car
with
colorful
lights
and
shining
gifts
and
the
snowman
and
a
lot
of
people
just
took
pictures
with
that
car
yeah,
that's
a
center
vehicle.
I
just
heard
thanks
a
lot.
D
H
D
G
I
Yes,
thank
you,
and
this
should
be
interesting,
managing
all
the
screens,
my
apologies,
so
this
is
simply
a
list
of
the
active
projects.
I
The
there
are
11
parks
and
rec
related
projects
that
we
are
working
on
presently
and
they're.
The
ones
in
the
green
and
the
other
active
projects
are
listed
below
tried
to
make
the
red
ones
our
facility
blue,
are
the
bike
and
ped
related
projects,
and
then
the
rest
of
these
are
more
streets
and
infrastructure.
I
As
director
mcgrane
mentioned,
I
actually
am
very
active
with
the
library
project.
That's
coming
to
a
close.
I
We
do
have,
like
I
said,
seven
projects,
a
few
of
the
bike
pad
the
playground,
we're
waiting
to
install
the
playground
at
creekside.
If
the
equipment
can
only
come,
it's
a
there
was
a
delay
in
the
in
the
equipment
for
creekside.
It's
a
covered
supply
chain
delay,
but
otherwise
it's
going
along
as
planned.
I
The
there
are
eight
projects
that
are
in
the
bidding
or
re
rfq
phase.
Rfq
is
what
we
do.
We
put
a
request
for
qualifications
out
for
design
and
consulting
firms,
so
I've
got
quite
a
few
that
are
in
that
process,
and
this
is
my
list
of
the
projects
that
I'm
going
to.
I
If
you
don't
mind
so
the
all-inclusive
play
area
at
jolly
land
park,
the
city
released
an
rfq
for
design
services
at
the
end
of
2021,
staff
received
six
responsive
qualification
submittals
the
submittals
received
were
ranked
and
the
two
firms
interviewed
two
firms
were
interviewed.
Mig
was
the
highest
ranked
and
based
on
the
published
criteria
from
the
proposal.
Evaluation
and
the
subsequent
interview
process,
staff
negotiated
fees,
and
we
entered
into
a
professional
design.
Contract
with
mig
mig
is
evaluating
site
conditions
currently
and
is
developing
a
community
engagement
plan.
I
So
what
will
be
upcoming
is
that
one
of
the
things
that
we're
working
on
in
the
immediate
future
is
that
staff
and
mig
will
be
posting.
A
virtual
inclusive
play
primer
presentation
in
the
next
month.
The
presentation
is
to
increase
our
understanding
of
what
is
inclusive
play
and
what
goals
are
we
trying
to
achieve
at
this
playground?
I
The
most
exciting
development
for
the
project
is
the
launch
of
the
community
engagement
scope
in
the
coming
months.
We
expected
to
be
march
through
july,
so
as
part
of
the
community
engagement
plan,
the
project
team
will
have
online
surveys,
virtual
community
meetings,
stakeholder
meetings
and
pop-up
meetings.
I
The
staff
have
given
their
comments
back
to
the
consultants
and
we
hope
to
receive
the
revised
reports
by
the
end
of
the
month.
Just
to
note,
we
have
published
a
new
web
page
for
this
study.
I
As
you
know,
we
have
started
to
use,
engage
cupertino.org
and
on
there
we
are
using
that
format
to
get
community
feedback,
and
we
published
a
page
for
this
site
tonight.
It
is
five
o'clock.
Basically,
let's
see
here.
This
is
the
engaged
cupertino
site
and
you
can
see,
engage
cupertino.org
is
the
website.
I
I
think
you
can
search
the
cupertino.org
website
to
get
to
here
and,
as
you
roll
through
there's
a
number
of
things
that
are
posted,
the
housing
element
in
different
languages,
the
city
work
program,
blackberry
form,
golf
course,
feasibility,
study,
city,
work,
program,
etc.
So
these
are
more
housing
elements
yeah.
I
So
it's
a
great
tool
that
we
use
and
we're
starting
to
populate
it
with
a
lot
of
our
projects
that
have
community
outreach,
and
you
can
see
this
is
the
page
for
the
blackberry
farm
golf
course.
Feasibility
study
right
now,
it's
just
a
little
bit
of
text
and
the
map
you
can
sign
up
for
email
updates
on
the
project,
and
we
will
use
this
page
to
publish
surveys
and
other
needs
and
methods
for
community
input.
I
I
So
let's
go
back
to
the
visual
of
this.
The
wilson
park
gardens
community
gardens
project,
so
we
have
received.
Actually
we
will
receive
the
75
design
package
next
week
and
that
design
will
be
reviewed
internally
with
staff
and
operations.
The
master
gardener
and
we'll
take
comments
to
give
back
to
the
designers
we'll
we're
also
going
to
work
on
getting
cost
estimates
before
we
turn
this
into
a
construction
document
package
and
a
permit
application
building
from
an
application.
I
That
design
will
also
be
reviewed
internally
and
we'll
give
the
comments
back
to
the
consultants,
we'll
be
getting
cost
estimates
again
and
then
we'll
turn
that
into
construction
documents
and
go
into
construction
and
very
similarly,
we
hope
to
come
back
to
this
commission
with
an
update
and
let
you
know
how
the
progress
is
going.
I
So
the
next
one
on
the
list
is
the
lawrence
mini
park,
design.
There's
two
parts
to
this
project.
We
are
still
working
on
the
annexation,
so
we
bought
the
property
and
then
roberty
was
belonged
to
the
city
of
san
jose
and
we
now
need
to
annex
it
into
the
city
of
catino.
I
Cupertino
staff
submitted
the
paperwork
to
lafco
for
this
item
to
be
on
their
next
meeting
agenda,
which
is
in
april.
So
it's
one
of
those
lots
of
paperwork
and
administrative
things
to
do,
but
we
are
proceeding
the
lawrence
committee
master
plan
in
december,
the
city
contracted
with
mig
to
initiate
the
planning
process
for
this
park.
Current
activities
include
the
site
environmental
investigations,
and
that
includes
the
earliest
stages
of
the
sequa
assessments
and
biological
assessment
and
annoy
study.
I
These
will
be
ongoing
through
february
city
staff
and
mig
are
formulating
the
public
outreach
plan
and
we
will
have
extensive
public
outreach
from
march
and
through
november.
We
expect
to
complete
the
final
concept
designed
by
the
end
of
the
year
and
we
then
sequa
clearance.
We
hope
to
have
that
in
march
of
2023.
It's
a
long
process,
and
once
we
have
that,
then
we
can
proceed
with
the
design
development
through
the
construction.
I
I
As
you
know,
we
have
to
coordinate
the
construction
with
festivals
in
that
park.
The
city
has
selected
a
design,
professional,
prepare
plans
and
specifications,
and
then
that
will
then
go
to
competitive
bids.
The
work
is
to
remove
the
existing
ponds,
fill
the
areas
and
install
landscape
in
those
areas
for
short
term,
basically
turf
and
some
pathways,
so
that
it
will
be
in
better
state
for
the
next
phase,
which
would
be
the
master
plan
and
the
specific
design
that's
going
on
for
the
whole
park.
I
Hopefully
that
isn't
too
optimistic,
and
there
is
a
long-term
planning
for
amenities
that
will
the
the
long-term
planning
for
amenities
that
will
replace
the
ponds
will
be
explored
during
the
development
of
the
specific
plan,
which
is
our
next
project.
To
mention
it's
just
that
the
rfq
for
the
memorial
park,
specific
plan
design
will
be
published
tomorrow.
I
I've
been
working
very
diligently
on
that
trying
to
get
that
published
so
that'll
be
out
for
asking
for
qualifications,
and
it
will
last
the
process
will
probably
be
a
three-month
process.
The
way
it
typically
goes
so
we're
also
working
on
the
amphitheater
renovations
project
rfq
as
well,
so
that
will
be
issued
soon
after
we
issue
this
specific
design.
I
So
the
last
one
on
the
list
is
the
sustainable
infrastructure
upgrades.
So
we've
put
out
an
rfq
for
energy.
Supplying
companies
via
eskos
is
what
we
call
that
and
we're
reviewing
the
applicants.
We
are
in
the
process
of
making
a
selection
and
we
hope
to
begin
contract
negotiations
soon,
actually
any
minute,
maybe
as
soon
as
the
end
of
this
month,
that's
very
exciting,
because
then
those
energy
service
providers
will
come
back
and
do
an
audit
of
our
facilities
and
give
us
suggestions.
I
Give
the
city
suggestions
on
how
to
improve
the
energy
efficiency
and
conservation
efforts
of
our
facilities,
and
I
just
want
to
mention
two
other
projects
about
the
trails
that
aren't
on
this
list.
The
ragnar
creek
trail
is
very
close
to
finishing
up.
They
it's
gone
a
little
bit
longer
than
they'd
hoped
there
was
some
weather
delays
and
there
there's
some
split
rail,
fencing
insulation.
That's
going
on
some
minor
work
left
on
the
trail
and
they're
doing
some
work
at
the
crosswalks.
I
The
fencing
project
is
also
beginning.
The
legal
notices
were
mailed
to
residents
by
the
contractor.
Actually
they
went
out
yesterday.
Let
them
know
construction
is
starting.
They
have
to
give
a
two-week
notice.
The
city
will
post
more
helpful
and
graphically
clear
mapping
of
the
work
on
the
website
that
will
follow
and
also
just
wanted
to
mention
the
i280
trail.
I
They
also
directed
staff
to
use
the
name.
I-280
trail
is
named
for
the
interim
and
we
will
be
coordinating
with
the
bicycle
head:
pedestrian
commission
on
an
alternative
name,
and
we
have
to
go
back
to
council
with
that.
Eventually,
this
was
the
unifier
trail,
so
just
wanted
to
give
a
little
bit
more
highlight
that
we
will
be
referring
to.
D
Yeah,
thank
you
for
the
update
yeah
a
lot
of
information
in
it.
So
are
there
any
okay,
so
yeah
vice
chair,
bigger,
have
questions.
C
Yeah,
it's
just
a
clarification
question
at
this
point,
so
from
my
understanding.
First
of
all,
thank
you,
susan.
That
was
a
that's
a
lot
of
projects
to
be
talking
about
a
lot
of
issues
that
are
that
you
guys
are
dealing
with.
As
always,
this
memorial
part
specific
plan
design
the
the
two
components
of
it.
I'm
assuming
are,
of
course,
the
amphitheater
improvement
and
the
prone
repurposing.
C
Are
we
going
to
be
doing
anything
besides
these
two
and
that,
just
for
my
clarification,
I
might
not
have
thought
what
exactly
of
that
specific
plan
we
are
going
to
be
focused
on
this
year.
Besides,
these
two.
I
I'm
happy
to
answer
that
there
just
to
clarify
so
last
year
as
part
of
the
cip,
we
proposed
and
council
approved
three
projects
at
memorial
park,
the
ponds
repurposing,
the
amphitheater
renovations
improvements
and
the
memorial
park
specific
plan.
I
I
The
ponds
we
wanted
to
take
out,
the
concrete
put
in
some
turf
and
just
just
enough,
so
it's
just
a
more
usable
beautiful
park,
and
then
that
will
be
it's
we're
not
over
designing
that
which
is
putting
in
something
that's
prettier,
so
that
when
the
master
plan
is
designed,
that
will
most
definitely
be
repurposed,
there
will
be
another
use
for
the
ponds
areas
and
then
the
amphitheater,
similarly,
is
a
very
straightforward.
There's
improvements
that
need
to
be
happening.
I
Excuse
me
moving
the
path
away
from
the
in
front
of
the
stage,
giving
improved
electrical
and
stage
requirements,
and
I
think,
there's
some
other
minor
things
that
will
that
we've
been
working
with
the
parks
and
ref
staff
to
get
the
feedback
to
develop
the
scope,
so
that
rfq
request
for
qualifications
is
next
on.
My
list
of
things
to
accomplish.
C
Okay,
thank
you.
I
guess
my
ques.
I
did
not
phrase
my
question
correctly.
My
question
really
was
that
you
know
I
I
get
what
we're
doing
with
the
point
refocusing
and
as
well
as
the
amphitheater,
what
other
parts
of
that
master
plan
this
specific
plan.
Are
we
looking
at
to
do
in
this
number
10,
which
is
the
memorial
park
specific
plan
right
these
two
components
again?
What
is
the
third
part
of
it.
I
The
memorial
park
was
built
in
1970
and
really
hasn't
been
updated,
since
so
the
specific
plan
is
to
take
a
look
at
the
entire
park
and
following
the
guidance
from
the
parks
and
rec
system
master
plan
to
make
the
improvements.
There
were
many
suggestions
in
that
in
the
master
plan
to
consider
adding
shade,
perhaps
performing
arts
facilities
aquatics
facility,
basically
adding
nature
play.
There
were
so
many
things
that
so
we've
asked
to.
I
We've
brought
we're
asking
for
qualifications
to
bring
on
designers
to
look
at
the
entire
park
and
to
also
do
an
analysis
of
parking
how
it's
actually
being
used
and
what
is
the
best
design
and
use
of
it
going
forward
before
we
get
into
the
design
stage,
we
will
re-engage
community
and
get
their
feedback
as
well.
It's
going
to
be
a
very
robust
project
process.
C
Yes,
yes,
thank
you,
so
I
guess
my
to
to
be
clear
and
my
going
to
pursue
getting
somebody
to
come
in
and
give
us
some
analysis
on
the
master
plan
of
the
specific
plan
and
from
the
perspective
of
the
cities
that
are
what
is
our
specific
task
is
what
I
was
asking,
but
I
think
I
get
the
idea
that
it
is.
You
know
getting
the
consultant
so
correctly.
If
I'm
wrong.
I
The
city
council,
the
city,
has
approved
a
contract
for
design,
so
we
will
be
getting
a
design
in
this
first
phase
after
you
know,
and
going
through
the
process
of
that
the
design
comes,
it's
a
healthy
process
of
getting
feedback
and
analysis
and
all
those
things.
But
at
the
end
of
the
day
we
need
a
new
design
for
memorial
park.
B
Yes,
thank
you.
Yes,
thank
you
for
the
presentation.
If
I
had
to,
I
had
a
question
about
two
items
that
are
identified
for
wilson
park
and
one
of
those
is
the
satellite
garden
and
the
other
is
the
full
basketball
court.
I
know
the
commission
gave
gave
an
evaluation
of
looking
at
all
the
parks
where
we
might
have
those
facilities.
So
I'm
I
don't
quite
remember
when
wilson
park
was
chosen,
I
was
trying
to
understand
how
did
that
part
get
chosen
for
those
two
for
those
two
amenities.
G
I'm
happy
to
jump
in
here.
Thank
you
yeah,
so
we
discussed
the
different
locations
that
were
most
appropriate
for
the
satellite
gardens
as
a
part
of
our
strategic
plan
evaluations.
G
So
when
we
went
out
and
all
evaluated
where
water
fountains
drinking
fountains
would
go
benches,
we
also
evaluated
where
was
the
most
appropriate
location
for
full-size
basketball
court
and
then
also
the
gardens
and
actually,
I
think
we
designated
three
parks
on
the
east
side
of
town
portal,
wilson
and
creekside,
and
so
staff
took
that
feedback
and
went
and
analyzed
those
three
parks
and
figured
that
wilson
was
the
most
that
most
easily
constructable
with
this
limited
amount
of
challenges,
and
so
we
decided
to
pursue
that
location
first
and
determine
what
the
costs
were
associated
for
the
for
us
to
replicate
in
the
other
two
parks.
G
But
that
is
the
goal
is
to
also
put
community
gardens
at
portal
and
creekside.
Eventually.
So
wilson
was
just
those
three
were
identified
as
the
preferred
locations.
B
Okay,
how
many
garden
plots
do
we
envision
we
can
put
in
at
wilson.
I
I
We've
worked
at
it,
we
did
work
with
the
community
gardener
and
we're
trying
to
sorry
master
gardener
maximize
the
number
of
beds,
but
also
provide
garden
beds
that
are
best
for
the
gardeners
and
equivalent
or
somewhat
relatable,
to
the
beds
that
we
installed
at
the
mccollin
ranch
preserve.
B
Okay,
great
are
all
the
the
beds
at
mcclellan
ranch
currently
under
contract.
G
They
are
and
we
have
a
robust
waiting
list
actually
of
35.,
yes,
and
so
the
only
beds
that
are
not
fully
accounted
for
are
the
ada
beds.
I
think
there's
only
one
out
of
the
six
that
we
have,
that
is
contracted
right
now,
but
all
the
others
are
spoken
for
and
there's
a
robust
wait
list
super.
Thank
you
very.
B
F
Susan,
thank
you
for
all
the
updates
and
I
got
a
few
questions.
I
think
a
couple
of
them.
The
commission's
already
asked
for
it,
but
one
thing
is
on
the
all-inclusive
play
area
and
you
said
I
think
the
mig
they
are.
F
They
are
going
to
do
the
community
engagement
program
right
they're,
going
to
kick
start
that
what
is
the
timeline
we're
talking
about
that,
as
well
as
like
completing
the
whole
project?
I
know
I
know
this
has
some
type
of
the
the
the
budget
allocated
from
the
county.
I'm
trying
to
again.
I
know
I
vaguely
remember
the
timeline
of
those.
I
just
wanted
to
understand.
It's
good
that
it's
starting
it,
but
what
is
the
the
timeline
to
reach
for
the
cep
class?
I
The
the
grant
actually
from
the
exact
yes
canty
has
of
specific
requirements
for
the
timeline,
and
I
want
to
say
it's.
We
have
to
finish
in
the
summer
of
2024
and
if
you
back
up
from
that,
I
mean
all
the
bills
have
to
be
paid
and
everything
else.
It
is
actually
going
to
be
a
tight
schedule
for
us
to
meet.
I
So
having
said
that,
it
is
all
detailed
out,
I
don't
have
it
in
front
of
me,
okay,
but
we
are
working
right
now
in
the
community
engagement
and
we
just
actually
met
the
mig
out
at
the
site
yesterday
with
and
rec
staff,
including
the
public
work
style,
they're,
definitely
starting
on
the
design,
and
I
think
it's
safe
to
say
that
we
will
have
a
community
engagement
meeting
in
the
next
two
months.
Maybe
three
months
we
are
very
keen
to
get
going
on
that.
F
I
F
F
I
That's
a
very
good
question:
there
are
the
we
are
definitely
working
on
the
fundraising:
we've
hired
a
different
consultant.
It's
not
mit
to
help
with
fundraising
and
one
of
the
activities
that
we're
trying
to
do
is
get
started
with
that
and
try.
We
will
be
reaching
out
to
community
to
support
that
initiative.
I
Our
community
outreach
meetings-
we
might
mention
it
you
know,
but
when
we're
trying
to
engage
the
community
typically
we're
looking
for
design
input,
input
on
how
we
use
it,
there
will
also
be
fundraising
activities
and
they
may
overlap,
but
I
don't
have
a
plan
yet
for
those
and
I'm
also
not
a
professional
fundraiser.
So
I'm
gonna
get
the
professionals
involved
in
that
or
at
least
people
that
know
more
than
I
do.
I
Project
yeah,
so
if
you
have
any
interests
or
anybody
that
may
be
a
good
fundraiser
feel
free
to
send
them
our
way.
F
Absolutely
so
a
couple
of
other
questions
on
the
other
aspect,
so
number
I
mean
good
to
see
that
the
engage
cupertino
site
is
there.
That
is
that
linked
in
our
mobile.
I
F
That's
an
outreach
platform
kind
of
so
that
people
can
subscribe
and
feedback
kind
of.
So
my
question
was
mainly
whether
it
is
linked
to
all
other
things,
the
app
and
other
that's
a
question,
but
that's
okay,
the
two
other
questions
on
the
pond
removal-
and
I
think
maybe
I
heard
it
differently
or
maybe
it's
my
mistake-
the
pond
I
think
we're
removing
it
and-
and
I
thought
we
are
going
to
and
you
what
I
heard
is
that
they're
going
to
put
a
landscape
and
with
a
path
on
it,
correct.
F
I
Yes,
yes,
the
short
answer
is
yes,
the
more
a
little
bit
understand.
Hopefully,
it's
understanding
we're
taking
out
the
concrete
ponds
we're
putting
in
grass
and
some
asphalt
pathways.
Those
are
meant
to
be
temporary,
we're
constructing
it
so
that
it
won't
fall
apart.
It
will
last
a
couple
years,
but
the
real
design
is
what's
coming
up
with
the
specific
plan.
Does
that
make
sense?
Okay,.
F
Whatever
we
plan
to
do
like,
I
know,
performance,
theater,
performance
thing
or
the
the
aquatic
whatever
and
that
design
might
override.
This
is
only
a
stop
gap.
F
Okay,
okay,
yeah,
that's
what
was
not
clear,
but
thank
you
and
the
amphitheater.
I
do
remember
last
time
we
that
was
a
one
topic
I
do
remember
when
you
presented.
I
asked
at
the
time
the
estimate
or
the
study
was
done
already.
I
We
actually
haven't
advanced
it
much
since
last.
I
spoke
about
the
project
because
we
have
we're
put,
we
will
be
putting
out
the
rfq
and
that's
trying
to
get
designers
consultants,
engineers
that
design
team
together
they'll,
pull
together
construction
documents
and
design
it
and
then
through
construction
documents.
Those
drawings
will
go
out
for
bid
and
we'll
get
a
contractor
to
build
it
before
we
go
out
that
far
we'll
get
better
cost
estimates,
but
we
haven't
got
that
yet.
F
I
think
that
answers
man.
I
got
some
comments,
but
I'll
wait
for
the
chat
to
follow
us
in
the
comment
section,
but
this
other
question
and
the
last
one
on
the
i280
trial.
We
have
a
trail.
We
have
so
I
I
forgot.
So
what
is
that
we
are
going
to
do
on
top
of
it?
I
know
that
you
said
a
1.9
million
fund
from
the
county.
F
I
For
the
project
yeah
for
the
project,
we're
basically
installing
a
trail
that
goes
along
I-280
and
it's
three
different
segments.
It's
got
a
certain
amount
of
length,
but
we're
working
right
now
on
the-
and
I
don't
remember
the
streets
that
it
goes
between.
I
don't
know
if
I
mean
director
mcgreeny
could
speak
to
that,
but
it
the
first
segment,
it's
gonna
is
it
being
designed,
but
all
of
it
has
to
go
through
environmental
review,
which
is
a
long
process.
I
So
the
1.9
million
is
for
the
construction
of
the
first
segment
that
we
we
have
the
funds,
but
we
aren't
ready
to
spend
it
yet
that
was
approved.
F
Yeah,
okay,
yeah!
That's
pretty
much
my
curve.
Thank
you
appreciate
it.
I
have
some
comments,
but
I'll
wait
for
that.
Thank
you.
D
Yeah,
thank
you
for
all
the
good
questions
and
I
also
have
some
clarification
question.
So
the
first
one
is
in
the
presentation
we
saw.
There
are
three
phases
of
one
project
like
the
rfq
design
and
construction.
I
just
want
to
make
sure
the
sequence
is
that
the
first
rfq
and
then
design
and
last
is
a
construction.
Is
that
right?
D
I
We
we
have
to
publicly
ask
for
proposals
from
ford
designers.
We
can't
just
choose
one
that
we
like.
We
have
to
ask
for
proposals,
so
we
do
that
first,
that's
the
rfq
process.
Then
we
get
the
designers,
then
there's
actually
an
rfp
process
just
to
make
it
sound
confusing,
but
basically
we
have
to
go
out
to
bid
once
again
it's
a
public
process
when
we
want
to
do
construction,
so
requests
for
qualifications,
design,
requests
for
proposals
instruction.
D
Thanks
and
I
I
know
the
vice
player
vigor
and
the
commissioner
kumar
already
asked
many
questions
regarding
memorial
park.
I
still
have
some
questions
because
really
a
lot
of
residents
concerned
about
it
this
at
the
punt.
Now
it's
so
ugly.
They
really
want
to
see
something
there,
and
I
remember
last
year
in
our
commissioner
in
our
commission
meeting,
we
asked:
when
can
we
see
the
short-term
plan
for
the
after
the
pound
removal?
D
But
at
that
time
I
remember
we
got
an
answer
that
only
after
we
started
to
the
pound
removal
project,
we
can
start
to
discuss
the
short-term
plan,
but
now
I
still
didn't
see
it
in
the
presentation.
I'm
wondering.
Are
we
going
to
have
another
presentation
for
the
short-term
plan
or
it's
already
done
by
city
staff.
I
We
were
not
planning
on
giving
a
presentation,
I'm
happy
to
come
back
with
an
update.
We
don't
have
a
design
completed.
Yet
it's
in
process
we've
received
a
50
design,
but
even
that
had
substantial
completion.
Sorry,
substantial
comments
from
staff
on
it
like
add
more
turf,
green
areas
over
here
that
kind
of
thing.
So
if
the
commission
wishes
that
I
can
come
back
another
month
and
give
an
update
to
show
the
design
for
that,
it
will
be
very
plain
in
a
way
the
ponds
were
here
now
we're
putting
grass
there.
I
There
is
one
area
that
we're
rerouting
the
the
temporary
path
around
the
amphitheater,
because
it
seemed
like
the
logical
thing
to
do
so
that
when
the
log
the
amphitheater
is
under
construction,
it
won't
there'll
still
be
a
path
there.
So
it
should
be
rather
straightforward,
but
I'm
happy
to
share
that
with
the
commission
in
the
future.
D
Oh,
thank
you
yeah.
I
think
that
will
be
helpful
and
I
I
just
want
to
confirm
one
thing,
because
it's
only
a
short-term
plan
it
and
we
won't
put
any
major
project
on
it.
So
there
won't
be
community
outreach
for
this
short-term
plan,
but
we
will
have
community
outreach
for
the
specific
plan,
like
the
master
plan,
long-term
plan.
D
I
We
worked,
we
considered
a
number
of
locations
for
the
basketball
court.
We
have
to
consider
having
a
decent
flat
area
in
order
to
you
know
not
have
an
extremely
expensive
project.
Also,
the
path
to
that
area
needs
to
be
accessible.
We
need
to
keep
that
in
mind
and
the
garden
one.
I
remember
that
when
we
were
trying
they
were
trying
to
evaluate
the
different
sites.
One
of
the
things
that
came
up
not
there's
two
things.
One
is
that
it's
accessible
again.
I
We
can't
the
difficulty
with
say:
creekside
is
there's
a
lot
of
hills,
and
that
makes
it
hard
for
someone
in
a
wheelchair
to
access
the
area
as
well.
The
spot
chosen
for
the
wilson
park
garden
has
irrigation
in
that
location
already.
So
we
wouldn't
have
to
you
know:
rework
an
entire
water
system
in
order
to
build
a
small
footprint,
so
it
seemed
the
most
efficient
and
logical
place
to
go.
D
G
Yeah,
I
just
wanted
to
actually
comment
on
some
of
the
processes
that
are
involved
with
some
of
these
things,
because
I
think
that
it's
hard
to
understand,
and
so
I'm
gonna.
G
It
definitely
was
hard
for
me
to
understand
when
I
first
started
engaging
in
this
process,
but
I
want
you
to
think
of
the
specific
plan
or
the
master
plan
as
you're
building
a
house
and
how
many
rooms
do
you
want
in
it
and
do
you
want
bedrooms
or
offices
or
bathrooms,
or
you
know
those
kinds
of
things
and
then,
once
you
decide
okay,
we
want
you
know
four
bedrooms,
two
bathrooms,
then
you
start
to
say:
where
do
we
put
the
sink
and
where
do
we
put
the
shower,
and
so
it
gets
more
specific
as
you
go,
and
so
just
trying
to
help
understand
the
whole
process
of
what's
involved,
so
it's
kind
of
a
two-parter.
G
So
it
will
be
a
you
know
it
just
because
we
just
we
get
a
conceptual
design.
There's
also,
you
know
an
elongated
process
of
getting
more
specific
about
those
design
elements
as
we
go.
So
what
I
wanted
to
just
bring
your
attention
to,
and
I
think
that
susan
did
a
great
job.
You
know
these
are
not
all
of
the
projects,
but
these
are
the
bigger
projects
that
are
happening.
Normally.
G
A
parks
and
recreation
department,
in
collaboration
with
cip
and
public
works,
would
have
one
project
of
this
nature
a
year,
and
we
really
have
three
major
park
designs
happening
with
lawrence
mitty,
memorial
and
jolly
men,
and
so
I
think,
a
great
opportunity
is
that
we
can
engage
the
public
and
about
all
three
of
these
projects.
G
You
know
and
encourage
people
to
come
out
and
give
their
opinion,
which
is
great,
but
just
to
let
you
know
these
are
going
to
be
robust
engagement
opportunities
and
we
really
need
your
help
in
getting
people
to
engage
and
give
us
that
feedback
and
give
us
their
opinions
and
wants
and
needs
for
all
these
different
parks.
And
so
I
think
that's
what
we're
trying
to
get
across.
G
It's
going
to
be
a
very
busy
year
for
all
of
us,
ensuring
that
we're
getting
people
to
respond
to
surveys
or
pop-ups
or
give
their
feedback
for
all
these
huge
projects.
That
will
be
a
a
gem
for
the
city
so
again,
thank
you,
susan.
I
think
you
did
a
great
job
presenting.
D
D
D
And
I
remember
the
director
at
that
time
they
mentioned
our
city
decided
to
do
it
independently,
because
maybe
it
will
have
low
budget,
because
if
we
work
with
a
medical
bridge
they
have
some
the
budget
standard
that
that's
maybe
higher,
and
if
we
do
it
by
ourselves,
we
got
we
can
get
more
flexibility
and
with
the
designer
all
kinds
of
things,
and-
and
I
understand
why
commissioner
golfer
asks
those
questions.
You
know
we
want
to
know
the
details
and
I
remember
the
counties
fund.
I
The
remember
the
city
is
committed
to
a
million-dollar
contribution
fund
at
this
point.
Okay,.
D
The
project
yeah
and
like
the
donation
program,
are
we
going
to
have
a
chance
to
know?
Is
there
any
promotion
ways
about
maybe
like
the
library
donation
award?
Is
there
any
any
proposal
we
can
know
in
advance?
I
Absolutely
I
can
tell
you
that
I'm
very
aware
of
what
has
happened
at
the
library
and
the
success
of
that
donor
wall
and
those
initiatives,
and
we
have
let
the
designer
consultant
team-
know
mig
they're
much
more
than
designers,
that
that
is
a
feature
in
the
park
that
we'd
like
to
see.
So
it's
definitely
on
the
table.
D
Thank
you
so
much.
You
know.
We
asked
a
lot
of
questions
and
thank
you,
oh
and
as
commissioner
stanley
have
more
questions.
B
Yeah,
I
just
have
one
more
question
and
that's
on
the
specific
plan
when
there
are
such
diverse
ideas
and
options
that
came
through
the
master
plan
for
memorial
park
between
an
aquatic
center
or
a
performing
arts
center,
or
something
else
entirely.
How
do
we
go
about
asking
for
a
specific
plan
without
knowing
that,
ahead
of
time.
I
There's
a
lot
to
consider
it's
a
very
good
question.
The
way
we've
written
the
request
for
qualifications,
the
basically
we've
tried
to
outlay
our
understanding
of
the
scope
of
work
and
in
that
one
of
the
there's
a
the
initial
task
is
to
do
community
outreach.
There's
research
and
analysis
on
what
are
the
conditions
of
the
site,
including,
for
example,
analysis
of
the
parking,
the
trees
assessment,
the
usage
of
the
park,
the
operation
and
operational
requirements
that
we
also
will
be
doing
analysis
requiring
the
consultants
to
do
analysis
of
the
adjacent
facilities.
I
I
So
I'm
working
towards
one
a
couple
of
suggestions
from
the
master
plan,
the
parks
and
rec
master
plan
where,
for
example,
an
expanded
recreation
facility,
aquatics
facility
performing
arts
facilities,
so
the
ask
of
the
consultant
team
will
be
to
do
an
analysis.
I
What's
existing
what's
been
asked
for
what
are
good
business
models,
you
know
what's
so
expensive
or
big,
that
they'll
be
trying
to
weigh
all
of
those
options
that
have
been
listed
in
the
master
plan.
To
give
us
a
more
educated
way
to
evaluate
the
options
going
forward
and
that
will
have
to
be
part
of
the
there
will
be
the
initial
community
engagement
to
ask
the
community.
I
What
are
their
preferences
at
the
same
time
with
the
analysis
will
be
going
on
and
it
will
be
pulling
all
that
together
to
see
what's
the
best
direction
and
we'll
be
having
communication
with
this
commission
report
on
the
findings
and
the
input
from
the
community
and
then
direction
suggestions
all
those
things,
but
we
don't
have
any
of
it
yet.
So
does
that
help
if
clarify
or
add
more.
C
I
We
are
working
to
implement
the
ponds
project
as
quickly
as
possible
because,
as
commissioner
gopal
mentioned,
it's
a
stopgap
measure,
and
so
I
had
to
have
something
more
usable
in
place.
The
design
of
the
new
park,
the
we
are
hoping
to
have
the
progress
on
the
design
by
the
end
of
the
year
as
a
I
think,
the
conceptual
design
by
the
end
of
the
calendar
year.
I
So
then
after
we
come
up
with
the
design,
then
we
have
to
figure
out
what
projects
we
want
to
actually
build
and
take
to
the
next
level
of
design.
So
it
if
we
are
to
start
construction
this
summer
on
the
ponds
it
may
take
six
months
because
of
the
staging
and
phasing
with
the
festivals
and
the
trying
to
keep
the
park
usable.
I
I
That
may
be
in
place
for
a
couple
years,
because
the
design
will
take
the
design
will
take
nine
months
or
a
year,
and
then
you
have
to
start
to
plan
for
new
projects,
so
that
would
take
another
year.
Something
like
that.
You
can
see
how
the
pond's
temporary
measure
may
be
in
place
for
a
while.
Does
that
help
yeah?
Okay,.
D
Okay,
now
you
know
we
finished
all
the
questions
yeah
and
now
it's
a
comments
part.
So
anyone
want
to
start
a
discussion.
Okay,
commissioner,
come
up.
D
F
So
I
think
this
kind
of
commissioner
who
already
covered
it,
but
my
maybe
question
or
maybe
apprehension-
is
that
the
the
memorial
part
the
the
we're
trying
to
get
the
overall
big
picture,
and
I
know
that
a
lot
many
things
are
happening.
I
understand
that's
a
huge
huge
amount.
Master
plan
asks
in
many
many
areas.
F
How
do
we
ensure
that
we
have
in
a
bigger
picture?
Things
are
not
being
done
or
if
we
could
delay
it
a
little
bit
so
that
we
don't
have
to
do
this.
Stop
cap
measure
or
anything,
because
if
assuming
that
the
the
mega
projects
within
the
master
plan
comes
at
the
overrides
any
of
these
things
in
like,
for
example,
if
you
would
take
the
the
applicator
one
I
didn't
remember
at
the
time
it
was
like,
maybe
one
or
two
million
kind
of
a
projection
at
the
time
itself.
F
So
how
do
we?
How
are
we
prioritizing
it?
Our
mom?
I
still
I
couldn't
get
a
good
picture
of
okay.
There
are
not
many
things
on
the
memorial
park,
but
we're
doing
here
and
there
and
we're
not
you.
I
understand
there
is
a
need,
but
how
do
we
make
sure
that
all
these
things
are
not
going
to
be
like
throwaway
work?
Rather,
it
complements
the
overarching
product
overarching
the
the
master
plan
asks
being
at
a
small
or
a
bigger.
You
said,
a
lot
of
small
things
have
been
asked
as
well.
F
So
that's
about
I'm
really
still
not.
Maybe
this
may
not
be
the
forum
to
discuss
in
detail,
but
I
would
like
to
definitely,
I
think,
request
suzanne
and
the
director
and
see
it'll
be
good
to
have
a
good
overall
view
and
maybe
a
request
chair
to
help
on
putting
this
in
agenda
later.
We
need
to
get
a
complete
view
because
memorial
park.
F
But
I
personally
feel
that
I
think
if
you
have
a
coordinated
effort
and
then
make
sure
that
yes,
it
starts
from
the
master
plan
and
then
within
that
purview
of
the
master
plan.
We
are
doing
these
these
things,
and
this
is
okay
to
do
it
or
okay
to
spend
millions
and
millions
of
dollars
right
now,
so
that
it
will
not.
It
only
complements
because
it
just
fixes
a
portion
of
my
overall
plan.
Then
it
goes
like
the
pieces
of
the
puzzles
are
assembling
properly.
F
Otherwise,
at
this
point
I
don't
have
a
view
of
what
are
those
things
and
especially,
I
know
these
two
are
good,
but
what
happens
the
plan?
The
other
designer
comes
and
comes
back
and
say
you
know
what
oh.
This
is
the
best
place
to
do,
and
these
are
the
things
to
be
done
looking
into
the
path
that
may
be
the
right
design,
but
I'm
that's
the
part.
I
am
missing
it,
I'm
just
making.
F
It
isn't
a
comment
here,
because
not
many
things
and
millions
of
dollars
was
being
spent
right
in
each
area,
and
we
have
to
spend
a
lot
on
that
too.
So
it
will
be
good
to
have
a
complete
view.
A
rundown
on
this
is
overall.
These
are
the
pieces
that
visually
will
be
good
to
have
a
mapping
for
us
to
understand,
at
least
as
a
commissioner
who
represent
the
community.
F
We
just
look
at
a
view
and
then
see
whether
we
can
make
any
suggestions
even
to
the
council
and
say:
okay
looks
like
these
other
things:
either
we
have
to
connect
these
two
or
we
can
slow
down
this
one
because
the
other
you
can
accelerate
the
other
one.
Instead
of
doing
it,
we
should
be
able
to
put
a
proper
project
plan
and
a
map
of
this
one.
Personally,
I
I
feel
that
it
is.
Maybe
I
am
not
able
to
see
that
because
I
see
bits
and
pieces
of
information.
These
are
all
good.
F
When
I
look
at
that
silo
view,
when
I
really
put
an
uploader
view,
I'm
not
able
to
because
I
do
not
know
what
are
the
other
things
we
planted
in
the
memorial,
but
maybe
a
small,
medium
or
large
projects
and
how
that
aligns
with
the
things
what
we
are
doing
it
today,
because
it
really
costs
I
per
I
specifically,
I
do
remember.
I
brought
this
question
on
ambi
theater
at
the
time
it's
all
going
if
it
is
going
to
cost
millions,
I
think
we
need
to.
F
F
It
will
be
good
for
us
to
see
it
even
that
should
go
into
the
engaged
cupertino
site
and
it
should
be.
This
is
overall
what
we're
planning
on
it,
and
these
are
the
pieces
we
plan
to
do
it.
So
public
should
also
see
it.
Oh
that's
great,
because
if
you
do
something
and
people
love
it
and
do
it
and
if
you're
going
to
rip
it
off
later
sometime,
they
will
say
come
on.
I
was
using
it.
I
enjoy
it
now.
Okay,
why
are
you
taking
it
out?
F
So
community
will
get,
will
not
get
a
good
deal
on
it
and
you
may
get
a
different
people.
So
that's
my
comment
because
I
was
holding
my
thoughts
on
it
because
I
I
personally
couldn't
view
couldn't
visualize
what's
happening
where
and
which
one
will
get
replaced,
which
one
will
be
ripped
off
and
then,
where
all
the
money
you
spend
is
going
I'll
go
away.
I'm
not.
F
D
Okay-
and
I
I
think
what
we
can
do
is
add,
a
future
agenda
item
to
discuss
the
specific
plan
and
we
can
get
the
complete
view
of
this
yeah.
Thank
you,
but
I
would
like
I
really
like
this
idea
and
thank
you
and
vice
chair
before.
C
I
I
had
a
couple
of
comments,
but
it
looks
like
commissioner
gopal
has
already
mentioned
most
of
it.
So
I'd
like
to
reiterate
that
you
know
if
we
could
somehow
look
at
that
plan
so
that
you
know
at
least
some
of
the
paths
at
least
should
not
be
replaced
right.
I
mean
it's
going
to
cost
millions
again,
so
we
really
need
to
look
at
that
whole
that
whole
plan
before
we
put
little
things
into
place.
I
know
this
has
been.
C
You
know
before
my
time
even
and
it's
been
going
on
for
like
five
six
years,
commissioner
stannic's
been
through
all
of
this,
and
we
need
to
see
progress,
but
you
know,
are
we
going
to
see
progress
at
the
risk
of?
Actually,
you
know
replacing
what
we're
going
to
do,
even
if
it
is
going
to
take
a
couple
of
years
if
it
lasts
for
two
years
and
then
we
have
to
rip
all
of
that
part.
It
just
doesn't
make
sense
for
us
to
do
that.
So
I
would
like
to
bring
this
project.
C
You
know
at
least
discussion
on
this
project
and
its
plans
up
for
discussion
so
that
we
get
a
better
idea
of
how
we
go
about
doing
this,
or
we
make
the
decision
to
say.
Okay,
if
we
put
some
grass
into
this
area,
we
leave
that
grass
alone
in
the
in
the
main
project.
G
If
anybody
doesn't
mind
that
I
hop
in
on
this
one,
I
want
to
just
be
mindful
we're
not
putting
a
bunch
of
pathways
anywhere,
actually
we're
just
filling
in
the
empty
concrete
areas.
The
only
pathway
that
we're
upgrading
will
be
behind
the
amphitheater,
which
of
course,
will
stay
there
and
will
always
make
sense
so
that
when
there
are
concerts
or
shakespeare
that
park
users
can
go
around
the
backside
as
opposed
to
in
front
of
the
stage
for
that
purpose.
G
But
that
is
the
only
pathway
that
is
being
put
in
in
this
interim
phase.
The
grass
areas,
especially
if
you
look
out
if
you're
sitting
at
the
amphitheater,
the
ponds,
the
the
bigger
ponds
areas,
are
actually
quite
utilized
for
festivals
and
concert
goers
and
they
sit
in
the
empty
pond.
So
we
think
that
the
grass
area
will
be
utilized
as
well
as
for
community
events.
We
have
a
lot
of
festivals
and
we
think
that
that
lawn
area
will
be
utilized.
G
Well,
I
understand
what
you're
saying
you
don't
want
to
add
and
then
take
away,
but
we
don't
think
that
the
footprint
of
the
grass
will
necessarily
change
in
accordance
with
the
new
plan.
We
have
to
do
something
in
the
interim
right.
We
have
to
make
it
usable
and
functional.
We
can't
just
it
would
not
be
smart
to
just
block
it
all
off
and
make
it
unusable
for
a
couple
of
years
either,
and
so
I
think
that
this
is
a
well
thought
out
plan.
G
It
makes
the
space
more
use
usable
by
the
community
as
well
as
for
events.
So
I
think
it's
a
good
interim
solution.
B
B
We
need
to
do
something
and
we're
we're
talking
about
a
long-term
master
plan
for
memorial
park
and
I
could
again
I
could
venture
the
number
of
years
it's
going
to
take
to
actually
make
that
happen,
but
maybe
the
director
can
could
give
a
better
view,
but
I'm
guessing
five
to
eight
years
to
really,
if
we're
going
to
do
something
like
a
performing
like
something
big
one
of
the
big
things
that
would
that
were
in
the
master
plan,
an
aquatic
center,
a
full
sports
new
sports
center
or
a
performing
arts
center.
B
These
are
big
things
that
will
take
years
to
plan
and
implement,
and
so
you
know
whatever
we
do,
we
do.
The
community
has
asked
for
the
upgrades
to
the
amphitheater.
We
use
it
every
year.
It
may
be
that
the
amphitheater
goes
away
in
in
the
master
plan.
We
don't
know
yet,
but
there
are
improvements
that
we
can
do
that,
that
I
think
we
need
to
do,
and
sometimes
you
just
have
to
put
the
money
in
and
then
see
where
it
goes,
and
I
think
council
has
given
the
direction
on
that.
B
So
I
I
think
analyzing
it
all
to
use
our
tax
dollars
wisely
is
smart,
but
we
have
to
be
careful
that
we
don't
get
an
analysis
paralysis
because
you
can
always
look
at
it
and
worry
more
and
and
if
there
is
a
big
thing,
it
will
take
a
long
time
and
we've
been
in
a
little
bit
of
that.
We've
it's
taken
a
number
of
years,
even
to
get
to
where
we
are
on
the
pond.
B
So
I
just
wanted
to
put
that
perspective
forward
that
I
understand
why
we're
doing
this
in
phases
and
why
we're
spending
the
money,
because
we
need
those
improvements
at
memorial
park.
It's
long
past
due
let's
make
those
and
then
really
put
our
effort
into
the
master
plan
and
get
the
community
input
that
we
need
and
implement.
That.
C
Yeah,
I
guess
it's
it
makes.
I
mean
all
of
this.
Discussion
does
make
sense,
and
this
pond
has
been
the
eyesore
for
at
least
five
years,
if
I'm
not
mistaken,
for
maybe
something
like
that,
my
comment
would
be
if
we
could
get
a
little
bit
more
detail
of
exactly
what
we're
going
to
do
to
that
area
with
little
plans.
C
You
know
I
mean
a
little
diagram,
saying:
okay,
here's
where
the,
because
when
I
heard
the
presentation
in
my
head
and
maybe
because
I
did
not
tune
in
correctly
whatever
was-
I
was
actually
expecting
that
they
would
be.
You
know
pathways
going
between
the
between
the
porn.
So
if
we
could
get
that
detail,
that
would
make
it
a
little
bit
more.
C
You
make
a
little
bit
more
sense
in
my
head,
at
least
as
to
exactly
what
we're
going
to
do,
and
possibly
a
lot
of
it
would
be
hopefully
reusable,
even
if
it
is
five
or
ten
years
ago
I
mean
it's
one
thing
to
make
something
that
is
reusable
and
another,
and
you
know,
and
then
upgrading
you
need
to
make
something
in
five
years
in
five
years.
You'll
have
to
do
something
to
upgrade
it,
it's
not
going
to
stay
perfectly
the
way
it
is.
C
However,
if
we've
got
to
rip
it,
then
that's
really
a
concern
so
that
level
of
detail.
If
we
could
obtain
some
some
picture,
some
design
information
that
will
make
it
a
little
bit
more
comfortable
to
say,
yeah
go
ahead
with
this,
as,
as
opposed
to
you
know,
wait
for
the
real
plan
and
right
now
that
real
plan
is
still
far
away
and
we're
going
to
do
some
construction
right
now.
So
it
makes
you
wonder
whether
you
know
we're
doing
a
cut
before
a
horse.
C
D
D
We
do
the
whole
vision
of
the
whole
memorial
park.
It's
like
we
are
going
to
just,
for
example,
we
want
to
build
a
home
office,
but
the
budget
is
one
thousand
dollars,
but
you
you
can
put
in
your
plan.
I
want
a
900
dollar
chair.
I
want
the
700
dollar
desk
and
I
want
the
really
big
ipo
screen,
which
cost
a
lot.
But
that
means
you
only
have
1000
budget.
You
cannot
put
all
these
good
things
yeah.
D
D
Well,
we
can
know
how
to
build
it,
be
piece
by
piece,
yeah,
and
I
think
commissioner
kumar
pen,
you
just
raise
your
hand
and
then
your
lower
okay.
You
can
start.
F
Thank
you.
No,
I
think,
as
commissioner
can
I
say
that
I
just
want
to
make
sure
to
clarify.
I
I'm
I'm
not
saying
that
these
are
all
not
a
project.
These
are
all
must
do
it,
but
my
my
question
or
thing
about
visibility
is
that,
are
we
doing
all
these
things
with
the
context
of
the
big
picture
of
the
overall
one?
That's.
F
Because
if
these
are
all
done
in
an
isolation
and
if
that
comes
and
something
overrides,
then
we
are
taking
away
the
the
the
pleasure
or
things
would
be
given
to
the
the
the
community.
That
was
my
question.
It's
not!
I
didn't
question
anything
about
the.
Should
we
do
it
or
not.
Should
we
do
this
or
not?
That's
not,
but
we
are
spending
it,
but
we
want
to
make
sure
that
the
other
plan
doesn't
override.
F
Your
overall
plan
doesn't
come
under
override
that
oh
this
is
going
to
and
if
it
comes
immediately
in
two
years,
then
you
just
all
these
plants
right
now,
amphitheater
in
general
example,
and
if
it's
all
doing
it
and
then
in
two
years
it's
all
good
to
go.
People
are
enjoying
it
by
the
time
the
overall
plan
comes
back
and
when
we
start
in
parallel,
whatever
in
three
years
or
four
years,
it
comes
back
and
comes
up
with
something.
I
again,
I'm
not
saying
that
it
is
going
to
come.
I
know
you
all
planning
it
you.
F
You
know
the
planning
better
than
any
of
us,
but
I
just
you
wanted
to
get
the
visibility
because
I
couldn't
connect
the
dots.
I
couldn't
connect
the
map
on
how
things
are
happening.
That's
why
not
questioning
any
of
the
things
which
either
council
approved
or
the
community
asked
it's
okay,
but
we
don't
want
to
deprive
them
after
some
time
that
okay,
you
give
it
have
it.
But
you
know
what
we're.
F
Other
long
term
project,
which
will
take
four
years
or
five
years,
but
until
then
this
is
going
to
be
not
available
kind
of
that's
the
concern.
It
may
be
just
me,
but
I
I
simply
made
a
good
simple
analogy:
you
put
on
a
website,
you
you
develop
a
software.
I
come
up
from
software,
so
I'm
just
saying
you
put
some
features
here
and
there
it's
beautiful,
all
of
them.
Suddenly,
overnight
you
come
and
reap
after
two
years
or
something
you
come
and
revamp
the
entire
website.
All
of
them.
I
might
lose
that
okay.
F
Where
did
I-
and
this
is
all
I
enjoyed
it?
So
that's
how
I'm
looking
at
it.
I
know
you're
making
a
packets
of
improvements
fantastic,
but
if
I
have
a
good
visibility
that
overall,
this
is
not
my
new
application
or
this
is
the
functionality
you're
going
to
get
in
every
pieces
and
with
that
context,
hey
I'm
improving
here
and
there
and
at
the
end
you
will
see.
F
Then
I
know
that
what
the
path,
the
vision-
that's,
that's,
that's
how
I'm
seeing
it,
because
maybe
that's
my
lens
through
which
I'm
looking
at
it
and
say,
are
we
doing
in
the
right
way?
Are
we
going
to
really
completely
revamp?
That's
all,
but
again
we
don't
have
to.
I
think
we
tend
to
have
this
one
at
this
point,
but
I
just
want
to
put
that
request.
It
will
be
good
for
us
to
get
educated.
F
I
I
want
to
be.
I
may
be
100
wrong,
but
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
the
staff
and
the
come
and
educate
us
saying
that
hey
this
is
what
it
is
visualize
it.
I
may
not
be
a
good
visualized
person,
but
you
can
say
that
put
it
and
visualize.
This
is
what's
going
to
happen
at
a
high
level.
That's
all
my
request
is,
but
again
I
will
rest
it
right
now
we
don't
want
to.
F
C
I
don't
I'm
going
to
stop
on
the
memorial
park
project.
I
think
we
beat
it
to
death,
so
I'm
not
going
to
comment
on
that.
My
ques,
my
comment
will
really
be
with
regard
to
the
other
projects
that
we
have
on
that
cip,
like
just
with
the
uninclusive
playground,
can
you
all
inclusive
play
area
just?
C
I
think
this
is
more
of
a
comment
for
in
general
if
you
could
get
a
timeline
associated
with
whatever,
even
in
these
updates.
That
would
be
very
helpful.
It's
like,
if
you're
doing
a
design
here
is
the
timeline
for
the
design
or
here
is
the
timeline
for
this
replacement.
So
just
visually.
It's
just
so
much
easier
to
see
and
remember
and
comment
than
for
us
to
try
to
remember
from
the
cip,
page
or
somewhere
else
that
we've
read
so
the
general
comment.
C
G
D
The
next
version
item
four:
is
a
strategic
plan
update
but
as
we
mentioned
earlier,
the
staff
report
is
not
ready
today,
so
we
will
have
it
in
our
future
meeting
and
then
we
come
to
the
approval
of
meeting
minutes
item
number
five,
the
december
2nd
2021
park
and
rec
commission
meeting
minutes.
D
Oh
okay,
so
how
about
godpal?
Do
you
have
any
comments
or
yes,.
F
I
do
just
on
the
minutes.
Maybe
it
was
not
clear
for
me
if
I
go
to
the
second
page
or
second
or
third.
Third,
the
commission
narrowed
down
the
potential
projects
to
the
following,
I'm
just
looking
at
the
page
and
we
listed
it
the
five
and
then
the
one
below
the
enable
additional
dollar
locations
labyrinth
program
are
similar
and
the
field
use
of
agreement.
Ignore
policy
earned
the
most
votes.
I'm
I
do
not
know.
F
A
F
D
A
A
Oh
yeah
right,
I
apologize
swami
since,
since
you
were
not
here
during
that
meeting
just
say,
I
abstain
for
your
vote.
I've.
B

If
nobody

oh
yeah,
commissioner
stannic.

I
D
F
Yeah
sorry
I
was,
I
was
unmuted.
I
was
talking
yeah.
I
moved
to
approve
the
meeting
minutes
on
january
20th,
the
special
meeting
with
the
amendment
what
commissioner
stanik
suggested.
B

And

offerings
and
on
this
next
slide,
we're
going
to
we're
going
to
see
some
of
the
project
status
and
a
year-to-date
timeline
of
where
of
where
we
are
in
august.
We
be
in
establishing
the
the
the
the
frame
work
and
compiling
the
resources
for
the
proposed
website.
J
On
september
21st,
the
city
council
passed
the
suicide
prevention
for
tenants
and
the
new
and
the
new
resource,
and
the
new
resource
website
was.
J
With
the
general
public
for
our
of
or
our
students,
the
youth
activity
board
posted
latino,
and
that
was
an
event
to
connect
students
with
mental
health
of
these
sources.
J
And
an
update
on
this
item
was
a
shared
of
the
income
mission
in
november,
and
then
the
the
mental
health
research
website
was
updated
with
the
additional
resources
in
january.
And
if
you
see
on
the
bottom
of
your
screen,
there.
J
The
the
website
can
be
found
at
cupertino.org
mental
health,
so
for
tonight's
recommended
action
it
is
to
receive
an
update
on
the
status
of
the
of
the
mental
health,
us
of
the
mental
health
support
work
program
item
and
to
and
to
provide
feedback.
J
J
So
we
have
our
website
split
up
into
these
four
categories
here
and
then,
if
you
continue
to
scroll
down,
these
are
some
expanding
widgets
and
if
you
go
to
the
santa
the
santa
clara
county
website,
having
a
large
and
a
wide
of
a
variety
of.
J
Horses
there
are
currently
available,
and
I
think
one
more
thing
that
I'm
going
to
share
on
the
on
the
website
is
that
it
is
it.
G
J
Living
as
a
site,
and
so
intent,
is
that
it's
going
to
be
continuing.
J
Updated
as
we
either
get
in
new
resources
or.
F
F
And
I
think
you
always
anything
with
the
teen
program
and
all
of
them.
You
know
that
there's
one
person
who
leads
it
in
a
beautiful
way,
so
I
thank
you
yeah
sure.
A
couple
of
quick
questions.
One
is:
is
this
program,
mental
health
program
or
this
things
are
just
with
the
teen
or
is
there
any
plan
to
engage
the
other
commission's
hospital
to
participate.
F
Very
active,
that's
fantastic,
but
do
you
have
any
plan
to
extend
collaboration
with
other
commissions
to
act.
J
F
Oh,
no,
maybe
let
me
restate
so
I
think
the
mental
health,
the
website
and
the
programs-
I
see
it,
for
example,
suicide
prevention.
A
lot
of
these
things
are
happening,
and
I
think
team
commission
also
presented
last
time
I
think
or
yeah.
I
think
the
youth
activity
board.
I
think
the
teams
who
were
the
teens
came
and
presented
to
us
while
they
are
engaging
and
and
and
even
taking
part
in
these,
I'm
trying
to
find
out
to
enhance
the
programs
in
the
mental
health
space
to
add
additional
programs.
F
I'm
sure
that
not
all
can
be
done
just
by
the
team
or
team
programs
or
others
is
there
any
plan
to
involve
the
other
commissions
like
ours,
art
and
other
commissions,
to
participate
actively,
because
the
website
is
good
and
I
see
the
programs
is
there
any
plan
to
involve
other
commissions
to
actively
take
part
in
this
particular
initiative?.
J
And
share
that
the
actual
the
actual
intent
of
of
the.
A
J
That
it's
it's
for
the
entire,
the
entire
com
city.
So
at
the
current
stage
that
we're
at
we
are
going
to
be
both
planning
and
going
to
introduce
and
and
introduce
pro
cramming
for
all
ages
yeah.
So
it's
not
exclusive
to
any
any
one
age
group.
F
Okay,
excellent
now
the
second
question
just
follow
up
on
it.
Do
you
also
have
a
plan,
and
if
it
is,
I
would
like
to
know
what
the
process,
if
any
external
agencies
would
like
to
partner
with
the
city
in
in
this
mental
health
area,
do
we
have
a
process
in
place,
because
I
do
have
some
of
them
approaching
me
and
I
wanted
to
see
how
I
can
connect
them
as
a
partner
or
a
collaboration
program
with
city,
especially
on
this?
Do
you
also
handle
that
or
is
there
any
process?
F
G
Yeah
absolutely
we're
always
interested
in
knowing
what
community
partners
you
can
recommend
can't
make
any
promises,
but
certainly
we
can
always
pursue
any
any
avenues
that
are
made
available
to
us
so
certainly
pass
that
information
along
excellent.
E
Thank
you.
I
have
a
couple
of
questions
with
regard
to
the
website
itself.
Yeah.
I
see
that
the
research
began
on
the
website
in
august,
it
was
published
in
september
a
how
do
we
have
any
data
on
who
has
accessed
it.
Is
there
sufficient
awareness
and
utility
and
use
of
this
based
on
this,
because
I
also
say,
interestingly,
in
january,
website
updated
additional
resources?
Was
there
any
research
input
from
the
community?
That
said,
we
need
abc
or
something
that
had
already
been
planned
earlier,
but
could
not
have
been
completed.
E
So
those
are
some
of
the
questions
for
me
and
if,
as
a
follow-up,
if,
if
the
usage
is
not
what
we
expected
it
to
be,
are
there
any
ways
in
which
we
are
promoting
it?
I'm
just
adding
on
to
what
gopa
commissioner
gopal
kumar
was
saying.
J
Question,
and
so
so
and
understand
the
question
is:
is
there
current
data
on
how
the
current
site
is
used
and
if
so,
is
that
going
to
is
staff
then
going
to
see
that
data.
E
J
Okay,
so
I'll
start
with
that
question
and
say
that
I
can,
I
can
for
sure,
follow
up,
because
our
I
would
have
to
verify
the
the
actual
like
usage
with
your
apps
team,
so
they
can,
and
so
they
can
share
all
of
that
engagement
data
and
then
I
believe,
your
second
ques
I'll
I'll
ask
you
to
share
your
s.
Your
s,
your
second
indoors.
E
One
thing
is
measuring
engagement.
That's
great
two
is:
is
the
engagement?
What
we
want
it
to
be,
is
it
falling
short
on
any
of
the
metrics,
because
when
we
started
this,
I'm
sure
the
certain
metrics
we
want
to
reach.
That
is
how
many
people
are
a
aware
of
it
b
want
to
access.
It
c
find
it
easy
enough
to
access
right.
So
if
the
engagement
is
not
just
what's
what
the
current
state
is,
but
all
the
other
things
that
keys
into
it,
the
second
part
is
used.
You
have.
E
So
does
that
mean
that
in
september
there
was
a
plan
of
action
and
partially
it
was
completed
or
operationalized
in
september,
and
the
rest
of
it
was
done
in
january,
or
you
finished
the
project
in
september,
obtained
additional
data
and
then
went
ahead
and
completed
it
in
january
or
added
to
it.
If
so,
what
is
that
additional
data.
G
Great,
thank
you,
sorry
to
interrupt,
so
we
actually
rolled
out
the
information
in
september
associated
with
suicide
prevention.
So
those
were
the
actual
links
and
resources
that
were
available
on
the
page.
This
item
becoming
a
work
program
item
in
july,
took
quite
a
bit
of
time
to
do
that.
First
step
that
rolled
out
in
september,
and
then
we've
taken
a
few
more
months
to
do
the
additional
resources
and
updates
and
that
just
went
live
in
january.
G
We're
still
in
we're
halfway
through
the
work
program
item,
and
so
the
marketing
and
the
publicity
of
the
item
is
still
to
come
in
the
next
six
months
and
the
analysis
associated
with
how
many
people
we're
engaging
will
be
a
part
of
that,
but
also
part
of
the
reason
we
went
to
the
teen
commission
and
we're
coming
to
you
all
is
part
of
that
as
well
right.
So
you
all
are
aware
of
these
resources
and
that
you
can
spread
the
word
and
let
people
know
that
it
exists
as
well.
G
So
it's
kind
of
twofold
and
I
hope
that
answers
both
of
the
questions.
E
Thank
you
director,
mcgreeney,
like
I
said
it
would
be
useful
and
helpful
going
forward
to
also
understand
not
just
the
amount
of
engagement,
but
whether
it
is
really
fulfilling
the
needs
of
the
people
adequately
or
there's
room
for
improvement,
because
that's
from
my
professional
experience,
that's
what
I
do.
We
can
never
build
something
perfect
at
the
get-go.
E
G
G
D
F
Again,
danny
really
appreciate
you
pulling
together.
This
is
one
of
the
things
for
this
time
really
needed
and
especially
connecting
with
the
teams
that
were
vibrant
and
they
they
can
do
and
and
it's
amazing
and
please
don't
hesitate
to
come
back
with
any
us
or
things
from
this
commission,
because
we
are
all
really
wanted
to
do
other
commissions.
F
We
connect
with
communities
absolutely
much
more
than
few
other
commissions,
I'm
not
saying
it,
but
I
think
we
have
a
reach
and
we
work
on
it,
and
I
want
to
make
sure
that
how
best
we
can
help
you
to
accelerate
this
program,
and
it's
not
just
for
now,
because
the
after
effect
of
all
the
pandemic
ones
is
staying
for
many,
so
many
years
it
is
going
to
lingering
around
and
that.
I
think
it
is
an
our
opportunity
and
thank
you
for
taking
the
touch
and
leading
this
way
with
the
team
there.
F
But
please
I
would
we
would
love
to
actively
participate
and
please
come
back
to
us
and
if
you
have
any
specific
asks
or
something-
and
we
will
be,
but
I
really
appreciate
that
the
time
you
are
taken
and
driving
these
students
and
kids,
it's
fantastic.
Thank
you.
E
I
want
to
reiterate
that,
thank
you
very
much
for
all
the
work
and,
and
we
are
happy
to
help
you
in
any,
which
way
and
support
your
your
endeavors
on
behalf
of
the
larger
social
group.
Thank
you
again.
Absolutely.
D
With
this
topic
to
let
more
people
know
it
yeah
that
will
you
know
that
will
maybe
get
we
can
get
more
support
from
our
community
if
the
message
sent
out
to
more
people
and
thank
you
so
much,
are
there
any
more
comments
from
commissioners?
J
Thank
you
and
have
a
good
evening.
Thank.
A
G
Meeting
for
the
special
meeting,
so
can
everybody
see
that
I
hope?
Okay,
I
can
see
that
okay
great
so
again,
we
continue
to
offer
coveted
testing
at
the
senior
center.
Our
next
available
dates
are
monday
february
7th
and
on
the
holiday
february
21st,
and
that's
from
9
30
to
4
and
again
appointments
for
this
test
site
and
others
can
be
found
at
secfreetest.org
and
vaccinations,
including
booster.
G
Shots
are
available
for
drop-ins
and
appointments,
and
for
that
you
can
visit
scc,
freevax.org
for
more
information
and
then
again
just
to
reiterate-
and
we
do
have
our
public,
our
our
web
page
for
the
public
for
the
reopening
of
in-person
services,
programs
and
events,
and
the
city
continues
to
update
the
web
page
on
currently
open
facilities
and
estimated
schedule
for
reopening
of
other
closed
facilities,
and
you
can
find
this
at
cupertino.org
reopening
wanted
to
update
you
about
the
january
18th
city
council
meeting
the
council
received
an
update
on
the
athletic
field
use
policy.
G
The
direction
provided
was
to
conduct
a
trial
period
to
allow
library
field
to
be
utilized
one
sunday
per
month
during
the
second
half
of
the
current
fiscal
year.
For
the
purpose
of
cricket
based
reservations,
the
city
council
also
authorized
the
continuation
of
remote
teleconference
meetings
until
february
16th.
We
will
update
the
commission
if
there
are
any
changes
in
the
future.
G
We
have
recently
had
some
staff
changes.
Kelsey
christian
and
mary
lou
met,
mejia
have
taken
growth
opportunities
elsewhere
and
we
wish
them
well
and
the
new,
a
new
fence
has
been
installed
at
memorial
park,
softball
field
to
enhance
the
safety
of
the
public.
The
fence
was
installed
in
december
of
2021.
G
The
dog
off
leash
area
signs
were
installed
near
the
entrances
at
jolly
men
park.
Pictures
of
the
signs
are
shown
here
just
wanted
to
update
you.
The
golf
course
has
adjusted
its
tee
times
to
coincide
with
sunset
schedules
and
the
first
tee
time
begins
at
7
00
a.m,
with
the
last
at
3,
30
p.m,
and
then
a
reminder
about
the
youth
activity
board's
partnered
project
with
the
cupertino
library,
the
martin
luther
king
jr
dream
dream
tree.
G
The
community
members
are
invited
to
fill
the
tree
with
their
dreams
and
aspirations
written
on
pre-made
leaves
starting
with
the
phase.
I
have
a
dream.
The
tree
will
be
on
display
at
the
library
until
the
end
of
february
and
submissions
are
available
electronically
through
bit
bitly
mlk
junior
dreamtree.
G
G
Virtual
program
offerings
are
available,
so
you
can
visit
cupertino.org
recreation
for
more
information
and
again
here
are
the
links
to
the
budget,
cip,
dashboard
and
the
city
work
program,
dashboards
and
then
our
upcoming
mayor's
meetings
are
scheduled
for
wednesday
february
9th
and
wednesday
march
9th.
So
we'll
have
to
schedule
those
this
evening
and
that's
my
report
happy
to
answer
any
questions.
D
Thank
you,
and
also
the
commissioner.
Stannic
raised
your
hand,
do
you
have
any
questions.
B
Yes,
thank
you.
The
question
was
about
the
extended
fence
at
memorial
park
was
that
just
on
the
first
base
and
third
base
it
looked
like
the
picture
was
like
on
the
first
or
third
base.
It's.
B
G
Is
that
right,
so
that
this
fencing
meets
the
requirements
necessary
and
so
the
extended
fence
closes
off
the
area
that
was
previously
open?
The
fence
didn't
go
all
the
way
to
the
end
of
the
outfield,
and
so
because
there's
a
pathway
in
the
tennis
courts
on
that
side
that
that
upgrade
was
made.
B
Okay,
thank
you
and
I
guess
I
well.
I
have
one
comment.
The
the
admin
assistant
through
the
mayor
and
the
city
manager
had
requested
from
me
as
chair,
who
would
be
attending
the
meeting
next
week,
so
I
went
ahead
and
told
them.
I
would
do
it
because
we
didn't
have
a
meeting
scheduled
when
they
were
looking
for
it.
So
I
have
put
my
name
in
for
that.
If
we
want
to
change
that,
that's
entirely
possible.
Okay,.
F
Quick
question
director-
maybe
I
think
maybe
I
haven't
read
it
so
the
dollar
the
the
boats
are
there
and
I
know
if
we
change
the
hours
based
on
whenever
at
times
right
we
change
the
the
the
times.
Is
it
all
outlined
in
there.
F
D
D
So
anyone
would
like
to
oh
commission,
commissioner
stannic.
You
have
something
to
say.
B
D
D
D
A
Just
in
case,
can
we
also
go
just
one
month
further,
just
in
case
for
the
april,
it's
april
13th?
If
anyone
would
like
to
volunteer
for
that,
one.
D
B
Thank
you.
I
have
a
report
from
the
mayor's
meeting
from
january
and
at
that
meeting
the
reports
from
the
various
commissions
the
library
commission
reported
on
their
expansion,
which
has
been
impacted
by
supply
chain
issues,
not
surprising,
and
so
it
is
moving
forward,
but
not
at
the
pace
that
they
would
have
liked.
The
sustainability
commission
reported
on
that.
They
are
working
on
a
climate
action
plan
for
cupertino
and
also
single-use
plastics
ordinance
that
they
are
reviewing,
and
that
would
be
for
restaurants
and
other
places.
I
