A
Cupertino
has
transitioned
from
growing
prunes,
crumbs,
apricot
and
cherry
till
the
1960s
to
Apple
today,
but
not
the
edible
kind,
Bhuvaneshwari
instant
origins,
but
is
one
of
modern
India's
planned
cities
and
is
an
emerging
IT
and
education
hub
I
understand
mayor
weather.
Nothing
is
leading
a
delegation
to
boo
banished
for
later
this
year.
I
do
hope.
This
visit
brings
greater
business
and
cultural
interaction
between
these
two
lovely
cities
in
Silicon
Valley
and
in
India
Thank
You
mayor
in
Iran.
For
making
this
happen,
we.
D
Are
honoring
the
diversity
of
a
Cupertino
community
by
celebrating
India
at
70?
This
is
an
anniversary
of
India's
independence,
whose
democracy
emulates
the
values
upon
which
the
United
States
was
founded:
freedom,
opportunity
and
justice
for
all
India
gained
independence
at
the
stroke
of
midnight
on
August,
15
1947,
a
date
that
is
still
within
the
collective
consciousness
of
many
of
her
citizens.
Many
of
us
have
heard
stories
from
our
grandparents
and
parents.
What
waking
up
on
that
day
meant
to
them,
and
some
of
our
seniors
are
present
here.
D
I
know
you
went
through
this
and
it's
very
close
to
your
heart.
Today
we
celebrate
this
anniversary
and
we
reaffirm
our
commitment
to
these
founding
principles.
It's
my
honor
and
privilege
to
stand
here
today
under
two
flags,
the
US
Stars
and
Stripes,
and
the
Indian
tricolour
representing
the
oldest
and
the
largest
democracies
Thank
You.
F
Well,
I
I
appreciate
this
new
tradition
in
our
city
and
I
hope
it
becomes
an
annual
one
and
I.
Thank
you,
Savita
for
bringing
all
of
the
great
qualities
that
you
bring
to
our
council
I.
Think
you
all
for
coming
today
and
I'm
I'm
most
I'm
most
grateful
that
in
in
our
city,
we
can
celebrate
independence
in
many
countries
around
the
world,
including
India.
Thank
you.
It
has.
E
Taken
a
long
journey
for
us
for
like
nearly
70
years
now
we
recognize
that
the
sixth
largest
economy
in
the
world-
and
it
hasn't
having
that
not
only
impact
in
terms
of
economy
but
also
in
terms
of
challenges
that
the
world
is
facing.
I
think
I
be
feel
that
India
will
play
a
very
important
role
in
Asia.
