Good afternoon it is 5 31, ma March, 23rd 2023.

We are opening the public hearing for the project fully.

Funded by cdbg, uh this is a flood plan, a public hearing for the Heather Lane Improvement.

A

The Heather Lane a public a park Improvement located in the South End of Dearborn Heights. The area is agents to the equals Creek North Branch flood plan investigation is needed and required by by the 11990 protection of what plan.

So the Wetland required such a public hearing and a public comment for 15 days after the public hearing is conducted to investigate to see if there is any impediment to go ahead and move on to complete this project by allocating 625 thousand dollars from a program here, 20 22 23, the cdbg allocation for the city of Dearborn Heights.

The city is interested in discussing practical at you know,.

A predictable alternative to this project, meaning I'm not going to read the notice it's available, but I am going to summarize the notice. uh So we we want the the public to to know about this project. We wanted to see if there is any concern from the public and any concern.

uh You know that concerning Environmental Protection and concerning any effect on the public, and this particular uh you know area where the 100 years, uh the flood plan uh exists.

This this public hearing is is part of actually, you know first part of this investigation process. After that, uh the the flood plan will be available for review and comment by the public will be available on Monday March 27th at different locations in the city of Dearborn Heights one is the city hall at the clerk office, two.

At the community and Economic Development Department at Berwin, Senior Center, located on Richardson and and the two public library and Dearborn Heights.

The public are invited to comment by writing.
