So
many
of
them
have
their
families
here
for
them
as
well,
and
so
thank
you
for
giving
us
some
of
your
best
years,
the
service
here
in
the
city-
and
we
wish
you
nothing
but
the
best,
as
you
continue
your
service
to
the
city
and
on
behalf
of
all
the
residents.
We
thank
you
and
we
look
forward
to
working
with
you
in
the
future
and,
as
everyone
knows,
we're
always
searching
for
good
people
that
are
committed,
long
term
commitments.
We
have
some
people
that
are
almost
at
40
years
of
service,
so
come
on
aboard.
F
We
got
40
years
of
work
have
for
you,
so
what
I'm
gonna
do
is
call
ever.
You
want
a
hat
up.
If
you
keep
your
spa
here,
we're
gonna
have
mr.,
am
crap,
take
a
photo
of
you
once
we
get
everyone
together
and
then
we
can
hold
up
applause,
maybe
to
the
end.
It
might
be
a
little
easier
and
it's
getting
kind
of
warm
in
the
office.
And
then,
if
you
know,
family
members
want
to
kind
of
come
around
and
take
pictures
feel
free.
So
I
will
start.
F
F
Yeah,
if
you
want
to
stay
right,
there
I'm
just
kind
of
line
him
up.
Joshua
Erickson
is
also
celebrating
five
years.
I,
don't
see
Joshua,
but
he
is
celebrating
five
years
in
employment.
We'll
make
sure
he
gets
it.
Valentine
peppers
from
the
dispatch
he's
probably
on
duty
right
now
is
celebrating
five
years
with
the
city.
Casey
workman

F
F
F
F
You
got
it.
Michelle
was
one
of
the
first
people
that
I
worked
with.
We
shared
a
lot
of
laughs.
I
cannot
believe
it's
been
20
years,
congratulations,
Jennifer
or
Nicole
Mitchell,
as
we
caller
from
the
court
is
celebrating
20
years
of
employment.
Liam
O'donoghue
is
celebrating
20
years
of
employment

the
court.
Geoffrey
Ludwig

employment
with
the
fire
department
bill
Roone

the
Department

employment
with
yeah

E
L
It's
regarding
the
mayor's
letter
of
veto
regarding
the
emotion
18:1,
create
which
was
passed
by
this
council
on
equal
to
the
mayor's
letter
of
veto
does
not
cite
the
specific
guidelines
regulation
rules
from
the
generally
accepted
government,
accounting
principles
and
practices
or
from
the
state
of
Michigan
budgetary
act.
Regarding
motion,
18
138,
his
reasons
are
general
and
vague.
L
The
mayor
describes
this
resolution
as
a
slush
fund
3,
the
citizens
of
Dearborn
Heights
pay
outrageous
water
bills
to
keep
getting
higher
and
higher
things
like
Auto,
Parts
oil,
gasoline,
tires,
etc
for
the
entire
city
are
paid
out
of
the
water
fund,
instead
of
being
taken
from
the
budget
of
the
particular
department
needing
them.
In
addition,
the
water
fund
has
been
tapped
in
past
years
to
get
the
city
out
of
the
red
during
the
last
few
months
of
the
financial
year,
because
the
budgeted
funds
fall
short
I,
wonder
if
this
year
will
be
otherwise.
L
The
mayor
states
that
this
resolution
lacks
transparency,
really
this
coming
from
a
mayor
who
holds
closed
meetings
to
wheel
and
deal
behind
the
taxpayers
back.
Prime
examples
are
the
Warren
Valley
Golf
Course
in
the
911
debacle,
to
name
just
two:
the
Nate,
the
mayor
also
states.
Numerous
council
members
did
not
receive
this
resolution.
However,
there
was
only
one
member
of
the
council
at
the
April
10th
meeting,
who
stated
he
did
not
receive
this
resolution,
and
that
was
because
he
was
on
vacation.
L
L
He
sees
no
reason
why
this
resolution
is
needed
as
a
taxpayer
I
question
why
the
mayor
is
receiving
his
pension
and
salary
at
the
same
time
as
a
taxpayer
I
question
who
changed
the
TP
OAM
unions
original
contract,
something
different
for
a
Council's
approval
as
a
taxpayer
I
question
where
the
3.2
million
went
that
was
legally
illegally
tax
noted
by
plant
Moran
from
Dearborn
Heights
residents
for
the
Heinz
part
CSO.
You
think
in.
L
As
a
taxpayer,
I
support
this
resolution
because
the
council,
as
my
representatives,
need
the
additional
funds
to
represent
me
and
other
taxpayers
when
dealing
with
all
these
closed
meetings
that
are
called
by
the
mayor.
The
mayor
pointed
Gary
Miyake,
and
he
serves
at
the
pleasure
than
me
are
not
the
council.
A
D
M
M
Who
the
violators
who's
who's
illegally
dumped
in
Greece
and
sewer,
and
so
for
the
next
meeting
before
I
prove
any
of
these
I
want
to
see
something
some
type
of
picture
before
and
after
just
to
make
sure
who's
there
I
mean
with
budget
per
person
to
be
monitoring.
That's
what
I
haven't
had
not
seen
anything
come
in
front
of
the
console
to
show
us
what
was
done.
We're
spending
almost
forty
thousand
thirty
to
forty
thousand
every
month,
I,
including
stores
and
I,
don't
know
why
any.
D
N
N
A
E
Only
I'd
like
to
add
on
that,
just
just
in
all
fairness
to
the
department
I
mean
I,
understand
what
councilman
bays
he's
coming
from,
but
at
the
same
time
that's
what
we
have
department
heads
they
watch
these
types
of
things
in
I'd
like
to
presume
the
director
Bill
Zimmer
is
much
more
of
an
expert
than
we
could
be
honest.
So
only
we
do
is
we
authorize
the
funds,
but
it
would
be
up
to
him
based
on
us
having
them
in
our
department
watching
these
types
of
things,
and
this
is
what
its
specialty
comes
in.
E
This
wouldn't
be
active
for
me
personally.
This
wouldn't
be
my
specialty,
so
there
has
to
be
some
sort
of
a
you
know
allowing
him
to
do
his
job
type.
A
deal
on
that
I'm.
Just
giving
my
opinion
on
this
I
know,
but
I
mean
if
we're
gonna
sit
and
micromanage
every
single
sewer
that
happens.
It's
just
not
realistic.
It's
not
a
part
of
our
job
as
a
council
were
more
on
a
budget
and
then
to
sit
and
watch.
You
know
get
a
copy
of
every
sewer
or
every
address
of
every
sewer
that
was
cleaned
up.
E
M
Keep
going
back
to
my
notes:
we've
had
the
technology
back
in
1950
that
we
can
fly
it
Mach
3
and
we
can
take
a
picture
of
our
license
plate
at
60,000
feet.
I,
just
I
see
how
it's
hard
to
believe
that
we
don't
know
who
the
violators
I
mean.
The
reason
why
I'm
voting?
No
for
this,
we
need
to
know
who
the
violators,
who
is
dumped
in
Greece
I'm,
not
questioning
any
department.
M
You
guys,
are
doing
a
great
job
that
wasn't
my
intention
to
question
anybody
I
just
question
who's
dumping
illegally
dumped
in
Greece
in
these
sewers
and
we
have
to
I
mean
I,
don't
know
if
there's
a
big
reason.
What
else
are
they
dumping,
so
we
just
kind
of
hold.
Whoever
is
dumping
illegally
in
those
sewers
to
be
accountable?
That's.
N
I
could
make
these
sewers
there's
a
did.
You
get
my
email
and
wonder
if
you
did
get
my
you
know,
I
had
a
brief
explanation
in
there
very
brief
happy
to
elaborate
sewers,
including
the
residential
sewers,
all
tie
into
the
main
sewer.
So
this
Greece,
if
it's
being
applied
to
the
to
the
drain,
could
be
blocks
down
down
the
road
before
that
Greece
solidifies.
It
becomes
a
problem.
So
this
is
why
I
mean
unless
we
had
a
camera
that
that
continually
monitored
monitored
all
of
the
inlets.
O
A
N
N
I
But
go
ahead:
councilman
just
want
the
public
to
know
that
Cosman
Bazzi
is
referring
to
a
specific
sewer
line.
That
continually
continuously
is
being
cleaned
in
a
certain
area,
and
it's
like
a
twenty
thousand
dollar
cost.
You
type
it's
not
they
do
they
do
through
the
whole
city,
but
this
is
a
particular
area
that
keeps
causing
this
trouble
and
then,
like
Director
Zimmer,
said
they're
gonna
try
to
narrow
it
down
the
worst
coming
from
and
that's
what
work
our
concern
is.
A
N
The
numbers
that
you're
seeing
on
these
invoices
is
a
cumulative
amount
of
all
that
had
been
done
done
in
that
two-week
period.
As
I
said,
we
did
hand
over
16
problem
locations
to
the
ordinance
department
and
I
think
that,
with
that
information
they'll
be
able
to
to
address
these
issues
a
lot
it
a
lot
better.
O
You
know
we
did
go.
We've
been
discussing
this
for
a
while
I
one
of
the
things,
and,
if
you,
if
you
actually
google
sewer
systems
across
the
country,
we're
not
the
only
city,
that's
dealing
with
this.
In
fact,
I
just
looked
at
something
last
week,
Hammond
I
think
was
in
Hammond
Indiana.
They
they
say,
spend
almost
a
hundred
thousand
dollars
a
year.
Doing
the
exact
same
thing
that
we're
doing
the
the
one
of
the
things
that's
difficult
is,
as
bill
said,
there's
so
many
interceptors
that
are
going
into
these
lines.
O
So
bill
and
I've
been
talking
a
lot
about
doing
education,
getting
some
information
out
again
and
if
I
remember
before
I
even
work
for
the
city
and
I
was
coming
to
council
meetings.
This
was
something
that
we've
been
talking
about
even
ten
years
ago.
So
a
lot
of
this
stuff
we
have
to
do.
If
we
don't
do
it
we're
going
to
have
houses
backing
up
absolutely
no
doubt
about
it.
O
So
with
the
list
that
we
have
now,
where
we've
been
a
little
pinpointed
down
to
specific
areas
that
we
have
to
do
on
a
more
regular
basis,
I
think
we're
going
to
see
some
some
resolution
to
this
and
I
think
at
the
last
meeting.
We
also
said
that,
hopefully
we
wanted
to
put
a
presentation
together
to
you
and
we're
hoping
to
do
that
at
the
last
meeting
in
May.
So.
K
Everybody
said
I
mean
making
a
lot
of
progress.
It
started
with
Jake
McIntyre
and
was
come
from
Muscat.
He
passed
the
ordinance
we
have
the
greatest
inspector
I,
don't
know
about
the
specific
mechanics
of
this
company
bill.
Is
this
company
anymore
or
any
last,
and
is
there
a
lot
of
companies
that
do
this
type
of
work?
Not
a
lot
of.

to
concur
with
Public

Zimmer
and
approve
and
award
the

it
looks

Let
me
read
it
exactly
it's
for
Annapolis
to
have
a
new
water
main
improvement
for
William

to
Pope,
and
it's
going
to
DMD
water

from
Canton

The
amount
is
four

eighty
nine

three

establish

is
jointly
through

for
$250,000
and
the
2017-18
water

sewer
fund
for
the
remaining
balance
of
299
300
$26,
and
impressed
approval
for

the

in

I
move
that
we
concur
with
Christina
Laszlo
the
mayor's
from
the
mayor's
office
that
there
was
budgeted
for
the
cost
of
the
phones
and
cables
that
each
centers
would
be
the
Berwyn

I'm.
Sorry,
the
Eaton
Centre
in
the
Richard,
a
young

but
not
for
the
software
to
install
at
the

to
upgrade.
Therefore,
she
had
asked
Mary
Stegner
with
RMS
associates
to
provide
a
quote
from
Sun
tell
for
the
upgrade
at
the
Justice
Center
to
allow
all
buildings
to

Move
that
we
concur
with
mayor's
assistant
Christina
Laszlo
for
the
attached
permit,
Metro

permit
for

dotnet.
This
is
a
standard
application
that
also
includes
a
check
for
$500
for
the
application
fee
and
was
reviewed
by
a
sister
corporation
council,
Neal

and
this
is
to
authorize
a
clerk
in
the
mayor
to
sign
this
document
and
the
city
to
accept
the
check
in
the
amount
of
$500
support.
D
Hips,
just
for
the
the
public,
knowledge
and
and
the
information
starts
at
page
4.
Is
there
anybody
from
1
to
3
dotnet
here
to
answer
this
to
share
the
scope
of
the
work,
in
particular
the
timeline
and
the
impact,
if
any,
on
the
neighborhood?
Since
this
is
through,
it
looks
like
from
a

to
kinloch
along
duck,
stater.
R
They're
not
required
to
be
here.
This
is
this
is
something
that
on
it's,
it's
by
the
Metro
act
on
your
body
doesn't
have
to
approve
it.
The
mayor
doesn't
have
to
sign
it
and
they're
gonna.
Do
it
anyway,
so
no,
there
shouldn't
be
any
residential
impact,
because
they're
gonna
go
right
on
the
wire
for
that
part,
but
just
how
the
on
the
state
franchise
act
went
when
they
came
through
and
did
that
there's
no
more
local
control.

Just
want
to
make
a
brief
announcement
that
former
police
chief
Sam
DePrima,
who
is
our
chief
going
back
about
20
years
ago,
he
passed
away
last
weekend,
there's
gonna
be
a
little
memorial
service
Saturday
at
Santo.
We
have
a
lot
of
employees
here
that
have
been
running
City
a
long
time,
so
chief
DePrima
was
with
the
city
for
30
years,
so
little
service,
this
Saturday
at
Santo,
so
I
just
wanted
to
express
that
to
the
council
and
to
our
members
here
that
that
new
chief
DePrima
back
then
thank
you.
A
E
I
just
want
to
put
our
congratulations
to
our
city.
Different
department,
heads
our
mayor's
department
or
administration,
I
say
a
lot
of
the
new
development.
That's
happening
along
Ford
Road
in
the
north
and
close
between
Inkster
and
John.
Daly
I,
just
want
to
say
some
really
really.
Nice
stuff
is
going
up
there
with
a
roasting
plant
and
bunch
of
new
businesses
are
being
built
up
and
then
recently
I
noticed
that
jeroboam
fresh,
which
is
a
supermarket.
It
had
started
to
build
there.
So
congratulations
to
everybody.
E
I
was
handling
the
leasing
on
there
and
I
had
many
national
brands
inquiring,
which
did
not
used
to
happen
before
we
still
get
just
the
mom
and
pops,
the
the
small
you
know,
mom-and-pop
stores,
so
now
we're
getting
national
brands
as
a
matter
of
fact
Athletica
or
not.
Let
it
come,
the
physical
therapy
place,
I
think,
is
called
Athletica
that
went
in
there.
That's
a
national
brand.
They
had
inquired
about
it
and
came
in
from
another
state.
So
that's
that's
a
good
indication
of
where
our
city's
going
and
I
just
want
to
congratulate
everybody.
I
It
was
a
great
experience,
we're
still
sore
it's
been
over
a
week
and
I
thank
all
everyone
involved
in
the
fire
department
and
to
go
through
this
and
see
what
it's
just
a
small
thing
that
they
go
through
and
we
really
appreciate
them.
We
cannot
imagine
everything
that
these
firefighters
go
through
on
a
daily
basis,
one
of
the
things
as
you
know,
when
they
go
to
a
house
fire
or
something
they
take
out
all
the
hoses.
They
just
don't
go
back
to
the
fire
station.
S
I
Job
is
really
important
to
the
city
and
we
really
appreciate
the
opportunity
to
go
through
and
we
also
got.
We
got
to
wear
the
whole
outfit
with
the
tank
on
the
back
and
and
they
were
kind
enough
to
give
us
our
own
fireman
hat,
and
we
have
got
to
keep
so
I
wear
it
all
the
time
you
know,
I
really
I
really
enjoyed
myself,
I'm
sure
that
council
members
did
too
and
also
on
the
southwest,
durable
Dearborn,
Heights,
neighborhood
association.
I
I
It's
where
you
can
voice
your
opinion
and
if
the
numbers
speak
volume,
so
the
more
you
get
involved
the
city
the
better
off.
If
there's
association
in
your
neighborhood
get
involved
with
a
neighborhood
watch,
you
contact
the
police
department
just
get
involved
their
city,
it's
good
for
your
spirits,
good
for
the
city
and
just
good
for
marijuana
in
general.
Thank
you.
Thank.
B
You
clerk!
Yes,
it's
it's
nice
to
see
so
many
people
in
attendance
here
I
see
five
of
my
poll
workers
here,
I
counted,
I,
hope,
I,
didn't
miss
anybody,
but
I
think
you
all
know
how
special
you
are
to
me
and
to
the
city
for
working
the
elections.
Time
after
time
and
and
with
that
I'm
going
to
put
a
plug
out
and
say,
please
consider
working
the
elections.
We
can
always
use
help
every
election.
We
have
some
people
who
don't
return
for
one
reason
or
another
and
we
would
welcome
new
people.
B
B
P
Right
we
get
the
real
deal
council,
chair
and
mayor
just
wanted
to
talk
about
a
couple
of
quick
items
at
the
library
first
off
Tuesday
May
1st,
that's
7
p.m.
at
Carolyn,
Kennedy
Library.
We
will
be
hosting
a
program
on
perennial
gardening.
A
garden
expert
from
English
gardens
will
show
favorite
perennials
to
help
create
a
long
blooming
landscape,
so
bring
us
here
time
to
get
in
gear
for
another
successful
book
sale.
The
friends
raised
over
$3,000
for
the
library.
P
M
T
I
think
actually
you've
been
kind
of
informed
of
some
of
this.
At
least
some
of
the
members
of
the
council
have
been,
and
we
are
so
in
the
midst
of
negotiations,
and
we
have
a
number
of
items
that
are,
they
need
to
end
up
being
worked
through
because
they
are
different
than
what
was
in
the
established
contract
that
was
in
the
RFP
package,
so
that
wasn't
anticipated,
but
parks
and
recreation.
Director,
gravel
and
I
have
spoken
today.
We
will
probably
speak
again
tomorrow
and
then
I
will
once
again
talk
to
mr.
T
Mackey's
attorney
or
communicate
with
him
by
virtue
of
an
email
saying
where
we
think
we
can
go
with
these
items.
But,
like
I
said
originally,
we
were
looking
at
four
items
to
be
determined
and
by
virtue
of
what
was
raised
by
the
other
side,
there
were
15
items
that
I
counted,
that
we're
not
expected
to
even
be
on
the
table,
and
we've
had
to
negotiate
with
respect
to
those
items.
Yeah.
T
T
H
Had
discussions
with
mr.
Geary
Warren
Chuck,
the
chairperson
of
the
Commission,
what
what
kind
of
bumped
us
off
the
path
is
that
the
county
announced
as
jail
proposal
was
Gilbert.
So
the
last
two
Commission
meetings,
they've
kind
of
knocked
all
the
other
stuff
off
the
agenda,
and
so
it's
good
news
that
we're
on
and
I
asked
Gary
earlier
and
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong.
But
you
thought
about
30
days
after
this
and.
T

I
U
Laureen's

I
live
in
Virgil

cut
last
couple
weeks
ago.
You
and
you
drive
around
here
but
hell.
You
know,
don't
notice
things.
Then.
All
of
a
sudden
I
see
this
big.
Three
sorry,
steel,
sucks
jaw
structure.
It's
a
billboard
went
up
on
joy,
Road,
Telegraph,
the
suck
it's
on
right
next
to
Walgreens
is
there
are
dents
about
the
size
of
science
for
the
city,
because
it
really
cheapens
and
look
at
the
city.
When
you
have
this
thing
up
in
the
sky,
yeah
I,
don't
like
billboards.
U
T
T
U
K
Every
city,
his
ordinances
on
Billboard's,
it's
a
hotly
litigated
item,
there's
been
a
recent
US
Supreme
Court
decision
on
them.
I've
been
involved
in
the
litigation
with
other
cities.
There's
no
right
to
have
a
billboard
up,
but
I
number,
as
our
city
attorney
Gary
Mac.
You
said
this
was
a
result
of
litigation,
so
we
said
no
he's
gonna.
You
know
good
to
go
for
those
billboards,
especially
the
digital
ones.
They
make
some
money
yeah.
A
I
got
a
question:
does
anybody
any
of
the
directors
know
like
ordinance
or
building
what
the
requirements
are
for
a
billboard
in
our
city,
because.
Q
I
Planning
Commission,
when
this
gentleman
approached
us
and
applied
for
relocation
of
these
billboards
and
because
of
our
ordinance,
we
refused
it
and
he
was
upset
about
it
and
he
took
it
to
court
and
it
was
out
of
our
hands
at
that
point.
As
a
city,
we
refused
these
billboards
to
be
relocated
or
any
new
ones
put
up.
The
billboards
I
think
it's
up
to
he's
allowed
to
put
two
of
them
up
now
or
the.
A
I
A
G
Ask
your
permission:
if
I
go
over
there
in
minutes,
honey
I
might
ask
for
your
permission.
If
I
go
over
three
minutes,
okay,
I
can
say
no.
If
you
could
even
interrupt
her
first
I
wanna
thank
councilman
bill.
Buzzy
I
have
been
attending
this
City
Council
for
many
many
years
and
I
I
see
the
same
amount
for
Nagel
construction
between
19,000
to
22,000,
every
almost
every
City
Council,
which
means
we
spend
in
around
40,000
a
month
close
to
$400,000
a
year.
I
called
couple
City
Council
members
in
Dearborn
and
I
asked
them.
G
If
they
have
the
same
problem,
they
said
we
recommend
that
your
city
talk
to
the
people
at
the
DPW
and
Dearborn.
They
might
have
more
experience
about
this
subject
that
us
I
believe
the
City
Council
has
every
right
to
question
where
the
money
is
spent,
because
this
is
the
main
job
you
have
sitting
here.
G
That's
what
that's
a
second
one
I
have
went
through
the
proposed
budget
for
next
year
and
I
saw
who
got
what
it
bothers
me
to
see
the
the
small
employees,
forgive
me
for
using
the
word
if
I
did
get
in
one
percent
after
year
and
half
of
negotiation,
when
I
did
little
calculation,
we
spend
more
money
and
the
lawyers
fees
during
the
year
in
half
more
than
what
we
gave.
Those
people
who
are
under
contract
in
unions
I
would
recommend
to
the
City
Council
the
people
who
gave
up
between
6
to
10%.
G
There
is
no
problem
if
they
get
it
back,
since
we
have,
according
to
our
budget
6
to
7
million
dollars
of
surplus
I,
believe
those
people
deserve
to
get
it.
But
on
the
other
hand,
we
deserve
as
public
to
have
5
days
work
and
to
have
a
little
relief
for
the
money
we
gave
on
the
Headley
override,
as
you
give
the
employees
what
they
gave
up.
We
are
like
them
exactly.
We
give
up
more
money
for
taxes
and
they
gave
up
some
of
their
salaries.
G
I
would
like
to
see
the
City
Council
to
look
at
all.
These
increases
and
go
by
what's
fair
who's,
doing
his
job.
Based
on
reviews
on
you
know.
Every
year
there
should
be
a
review
by
the
bosses
for
these
people
and
recommend
1
percent
10
percent
50
percent,
whatever
it
is
based
on
their
review,
they
should
get
that
money
not
based
on
anything
else.
I
would
have
loved
to
see
those
increases
came
before
the
election
last
year.

I
just
wanted
to
address
a
neighbor
that
we've
had
issues
with,
probably
for
about
eighteen
years,
I've
had
deaf
parents.
I've
probably
had
this
inspect
her.
This
poorest
building
inspector
to
my
house,
I,
don't
even
know
how
many
times
we
put
cameras
up
about
ten
years
ago,
because
my
parents
are
deaf
and
he
was
threatening
them.
I,
don't
feel
like
calling
the
cops
every
time.
I'm
a
public
educator
for
12
years,
so
I'm
not
gonna,
call
the
cops.
H
V
Your
name
in
your
address
Michael
rubbish,
I'm,
the
brother
of
the
sister
at
the
residence,
where
the
light
issue
is,
and
the
light
was
put
up
for
safety
and
security
for
her
safety
and
well-being.
It's
not
a
spotlight,
it's
a
security
light
that
was
replaced
on
the
side
door,
because
there's
been
several
instances
and
things
that
have
gone
on
there
and
it
was
for
her
protection
that
we
didn't
install
the
light.
It
wasn't
for
any
type
of
shining
in
a
window.
The
windows
itself
are
all
blacked
out
and
it's
just
constant
constant.
V
Over
18
years
my
father
was
alive
and
my
mother
was
alive.
There's
been
several
reports
and
constant
calling
of
the
police.
We've
tried
to
get
along
with
this
neighbor,
but
there's
just
absolutely
no
coming
to
common
ground
the
light
issues
there
for
her
safety.
It's
not
there
for
harassment,
it
is
a
security
light,
not
a
spotlight.
V
If
there's
a
couple
spotlights
that
are
on
his
house
and
when
driving
over
at
night
they're
actually
directed
out
into
the
roadway
and
they're
very
light
bright
and
blinding
it's
like
a
game
and
I,
don't
you
know
she
doesn't
want
to
go
to
the
point,
she's
just
very,
very
scared
for
it
there
and
that's
the
one
reason
why
the
light
was
put
up
would
like
not
to
have
to
put
it
there.
But
again
it's
for
her
well-being.
W
Sal
Alon
G
265
3-0,
which
I
have
a
complaint
with
the
same
neighbor
he's
constantly
giving
the
middle
finger
of
my
elderly
mother
who's
91
years
old.
He
has
moaned
my
mother,
a
number
of
times
he's
entered
our
yard
over
two
dozen
times
and
people
through
our
windows
and
the
garage
window
and
the
house
window
he's
in
just
the
past
month.
He's
come
across
the
street
stood
in
front
of
the
sidewalk
in
the
middle
of
my
house.
W
He
tells
the
neighbors
he's
looking
for
rats
he's
brought
other
people's
trash
cans
back
in
the
yard
after
the
trash
had
been
emptied
and
then
remained
in
their
yard,
taking
pictures
of
other
people's
yards
from
there,
those
yards
that
he
was
entering
so
he's
just
a
real
problem
for
the
neighborhood
and
I,
don't
know
what
we
can
do
about
them,
but
again
we're
calling
the
police
a
number
of
times.
But
you
know
I,
don't
know
how
many
times
the
police
can
keep
responding
for
this
person.
T
There
are
two
different
issues.
One
of
them
is
the
is
the
white
issue.
One
of
them
is
the
neighbor
issue.
We
always
have
to
be
careful
in
terms
of
neighbor
issues,
because
we're
only
hearing
from
one
side.
On
the
other
hand,
my
sense
would
be
if
we've
got
someone
who
has
several
PPOs
against
him,
then
reports
should
end
up
being
made
to
the
police
department.
T
If
they
meet
an
appropriate
threshold,
then
they'll
be
submitted
to
me
form
Warren
request
that
doesn't
necessarily
mean
that
warrant
will
end
up
being
granted
or
issued,
but
it
will
potentially
end
up
curbing
some
of
the
behavior
I.
Think
I
know
who
you're
referring
to
and
it
may
be
necessary
to
to
do
something,
but
you
should
probably,
after
the
meeting
speak
to
the
police
chief
with
respect
to
this,
and
then
maybe
the
police,
chief
and
I
can
discuss
possible
options
with
respect
to
this
matter.
I
got.
S
K
C
T
W
O
O
Sometimes
you
know
the
expression
is
the
squeaky
wheel
gets
you
know
the
most
action
and,
in
this
case
I
think
this
gentleman
has
been
the
squeaky
wheel.
These
folks
aren't
the
squeaky
wheel,
they've
said
and
they've
dealt
with
it
over
and
over
and
over
again
for
years.
They've
dealt
with
this
kind
of
situation,
so.
O
What
I
said
to
him
from
the
first
time
that
he
came
and
spoke
with
me
is
I,
have
to
see
it
in
order
for
it
to
be
a
violation.
I
have
to
have
documentation
and
I
have
to
witness
it
myself
or
see
evidence
of
it.
In
order
for
me
to
proceed
further,
I
had
been
out
there
twice.
I
didn't
see
it.
The
police
department
had
gotten
called
out
on
the
same
issue.
O
They
did
not
see
it,
but
yet
other
people
are
saying
that
they
are
seeing
it,
but
the
whole
time
I
feel
like
these
people,
weren't
being
listened
to,
who
have
to
deal
with
that
day
after
day
and
live
in
this
situation.
So
I'm
asking
going
forward
and
I
think
councilman
Abdullah
mentioned
something
earlier.
O
Sometimes
I
get
the
impression
that,
because
a
phone
call
is
made
to
someone
higher
than
me
or
in
a
different
capacity
than
me,
there's
an
impression
that
I
get
when
I
get
a
phone
call
that
I'm
not
doing
my
job
and
I'm
not
responding
to
this.
We
have
to
look
at
the
whole
situation.
I
told
the
person
that
came
in
complaining
about
the
light
that
I'm
not
going
to
just
go
based
on
what
he's
telling
me
that
I
have
to
see
this
for
myself
and
yet
I
got
many
phone
calls
from
people.
O
That
said
they
saw
it,
and
apparently
they
saw
it
a
different
way
that
I
didn't
see
it
I'm
in
charge
of
this.
It's
my
job
to
decide
if
there's
a
violation
occurring
and
I
have
to
go
based
on
our
ordinance.
I
have
to
see
it,
I
have
to
follow
up
with
it,
and
that's
what
I
told
him
even
today
was
there's
more
investigation
going
on
in
this.
That
I
want
I
need
to
do
some
research
on
it.

X
While
you
invited
me
over
to
your
yard
I'm,
just
trying
to
offer
you
peace,
you
know
I
know
a
lot
of
people
in
our
neighborhood
have
gotten
tired
of
it
and
we
have
just
tried
to
say
you
know:
you're,
not
hurting
anybody
with
this,
this
light
or
these
cameras,
and
but
he
wants
to
put
brighter
lights
up.
He
wants
to
do
cameras.
He
wants
to
set
off
his
car
alarm
and
leave
the
house
for
hours
at
a
time
blow
dog
whistles
constantly.
X
So
all
the
dogs
start
going
crazy,
just
just
a
lot
of
stuff
and
we've
always
tried
to
just
whatever.
Okay
and
by
you
know,
the
the
whole
deal
with
the
light
has
brought
a
new
light.
I
mean
because
we,
you
know
like
we
know
like
his
chimney,
is
one
foot
or
like
what
two
feet,
too
short
and
from
building
code
that
we
know
of
that.
We've
done
that
he's
I
mean
he's
constantly
making
water
running
into
this
lady's
basement
because
he
just
runs
his
gutter
downspout
right
into
the
driveway
right
into
their
driveway.
X
S
X
We
got
people
you
order
drop
now
we
all
went
downtown
stood
up
for
our
neighbor
cuz.
We
just
looked
at
and
said
it
said
you
know
we
can't
let
everybody
else
suffer
because
of
this.
You
know
he's
just
defending
his
defending
his
parents,
so
we
decided
and
that's
why
I
finally
just
said
you
know:
I
usually
try
to
stay
out
of
stuff,
because
I
just
I
just
believe
in
being
a
good
neighbor
I'd.
You
know
he
hurt
his
arm.

L
Todd
4011
Academy
Street
for
decades,
the
city
of
Dearborn
Heights
has
leased
the
fulminating
Elementary
School
for
$1
a
year
to
use
as
a
senior
citizen
center,
with
the
stipulation
that
all
maintenance
and
repair
be
done
at
the
discretion
of
the
city
of
Dearborn
Heights.
For
over
six
years
now,
the
roof
over
the
Eaton
Center
became
more
and
more
dilapidated
to
the
point
that
in
the
fall
of
2017,
due
to
its
many
leaks,
the
ceiling
in
the
only
ad,
a
bathroom
in
the
facility,
fell
and
covered
the
floor
commode
and
sink
and
rendered
it
unusable.
L
Thank
goodness,
no
one
was
using
this
bathroom
when
the
ceiling
caved
in
the
new
administration
of
school
district
number,
seven
stepped
in
and
paid
with
their
own
funds
earmarked
for
our
schools
and
had
the
roof
of
the
Eaton
Center
replace
so
South
Dearborn
Heights
seniors
have
a
safe
place
for
their
activities.
As
of
the
last
Board
of
Education
meeting
held
on
April
11th
I
learned
that
the
city
has
not
contributed
a
penny
towards
this
roof
because
of
that
one
little
word
discretion.
L
I
also
learned.
There
are
other
many
critical
issues
at
the
Eton
Senior
Center
that
need
to
be
addressed.
The
city
by
not
taking
partial
responsibility
for
the
Eaton
Center
roof
has
taken
money
away
from
the
children
of
d7.
The
money
this
the
city
is
not
paying
back
is
affecting
the
safety
and
security
of
our
D.
Seven
children
as
money
is
greatly
needed
to
make
our
school
buildings
more
secure
and
safe,
so
I'll
repeat
a
Columbine
and
Sandy
Hook
massacres
do
not
happen
in
our
district.
L
I
can't
help
but
feel
that
this
is
a
way
for
the
city
to
get
out
of
having
a
South
End
Senior
Center
by
not
paying
the
city's
fair
share.
They
can
blame
the
school
district
for
shutting
it
down.
Even
if
the
reason
is
that
only
one
dollar
a
year
can
no
longer
maintain
it
or
maybe,
by
ignoring
the
problems,
it
will
eventually
be
condemned
by
his
city.
L
Inspectors,
like
the
Canfield
Center,
either
way
our
South
End
seniors
will
be
forced
to
travel
to
the
Berlin
Center
in
North
Durban
Heights
I
am
requesting
that
the
council
of
Durban
Heights
pass
a
resolution
that
will
that
will
help
pay
for
the
roof
on
the
Eaton
Center.
Looking
at
this
year's
budget,
it
appears
it
is.
The
city
is
more
committed
to
rewarding
people
without
rate
without
rageous
pay
raises
within
the
administration
than
keeping
our
senior
citizens
and
children
safe.
