F
Good
evening
respected
council
members
mayor
residents,
I
wanted
to
person
foremost.
Thank
you
for
the
opportunity
to
present
our
proposal
to
the
council
last
week
regarding
the
Canfield
Ice
Arena
I,
look
forward
to
continuing
our
work
in
relationship
with
the
government
and
the
residents
and
committing
our
service.
You
know
to
to
all
I
wanted
to
just
let
you
guys
know.
You
know
that,
as
far
as
our
proposal
was
submitted,
there
was
a
budget
that
identified
structural
and
non-structural
repairs
renovations
to
the
Ice
Arena
and
at
the
time
back
in
May
of
2017.
F
F
So
since
then,
I've
prepared
revision
to
the
budget
and
submitted
it
to
all
the
council
members
and
the
mayor
via
email
as
well
as
today,
I
brought
a
sample
just
for
you
guys
to
sort
of
see
the
type
of
quality
that
we're
putting
into
the
facility.
As
far
as
the
turf
is
noted,
I
can
distribute
this.
If
you
guys
want
to
feel
it.
You
guys
like
to
know:
okay,
no
problem
I
just
again
wanted
to
thank
you
for
the
opportunity.
You
know
it's.
F
It's
been
wonderful
for
the
last
six
years,
working
in
the
city
of
Dearborn,
Heights
and
partnership
with
the
government,
all
the
elected
officials
that
have
come,
and
now
our
representative
of
the
city
and
its
residents
have
been
wonderful
to
work
with
and
I
just
look
forward
to
our
continued
relationship.
So
thank
you.
Thank.
G
H
H
Which
is
coming
through
for
the
same
same
thing,
what
I'd
like
to
see
is
is:
is
there
a
map
that
actually
maps
of
all
these
locations?
What
we're
spending
the
money,
because
I'm
see
I've
seen
a
lot
of
probably
the
three
and
the
masses
I've
been
on
that
concert
and
pretty
much
about
the
same
amount.
So
there's
a
lot
of
money
wasted
for
cleaning
sewer
I'd
like
to
find
out.
You
know
where
the
grease
is
being
dumped,
which
businesses
and
I'm
a
shouldn't
be
that
difficult
for
you
get
the
map.
H
I
Let
mr.
Zimmer
respond,
but
just
so
you're
aware
we
know
we
have
a
flooding
problem
in
Dearborn
Heights,
so
this
is
maintenance,
it's
not
totally
directed,
although
we
concentrate
on
areas
that
have
been
problem
areas,
but
we
have
a
plan
to
do
all
the
swords
in
the
city,
so
the
map
is
in
DPW
and
they
track
it.
But
this
is
not
necessarily
just
Greece.
It
is
by
doing
preventative
maintenance
and
checking
the
lines
we
help
eliminate
and
reduce
the
amount
of
flooding
throughout
the
city.
But
mr.
Zimmer,
oh
that.
J
J
B
J
Not
as
descriptive
as
you
would
like
it
and
I
know,
the
councilman
Muscat
has
brought
this
this
issue
up,
for
our
engineer
is
working
on
a
map
that
will
help
explain
to
you.
Actual
locations
are
and
should
help
with
your
understanding,
and
in
some
cases
they
are
descriptive
as
to
which
businesses
are
the
biggest
violators
of
Greece
issues.
So,
but
it's
not
necessarily
just
businesses
is
also
some
residences.
J
G
G
It's
it's
wonderful
that
we
do
what
we
have
to
do,
but
I
sure
don't
want
my
basement
flooding,
but
it's
the
ones
that
we
keep
doing
over
and
over
and
over
again
that
yet
that
we
see
because
of
heavy
cleaning-
and
that
indicates
to
me
somebody's
putting
something
down
there
and
being
the
person
that
I
am
I,
don't
like
troubleshooting
from
the
chair
here.
You
got
to
go
out
there
and
look
at
this
stuff,
but
I
just
don't
see
it
being
that
difficult
to
find.
J
J
Can
speculate
and
you
can
point
a
finger
but
legally
I,
don't
know
if
there's
a
lot,
we
can
do
with
it
at
this
time.
That's
why
it's
important
for
us
to
work
with
the
Ordnance
Department
and
even
though
that's
gonna
take
some
time
to
see
some
results.
I
think
it
is
a
step
in
right.
The
right!
Oh,
oh,.
G
I
agree
with
you
on
that,
your
your
whatever
comments
that
you
made
100%
accurate
and
you
know
I'm,
trying
to
stay
back
a
little
bit
from
this
as
much
as
I
can
without
going
overboard
on
it.
But
we
did
have
an
ordinance.
We
paid
our
corporate
council
the
right,
an
ordinance.
We
have
that
ordinance.
We
were
supposedly
and
I
think
we
did
hire
a
grease
trap.
G
Inspector
I
just
think
that
we
should
be
given
a
report
on
what
they
found
and
what
they've
checked
to
this
point
and
I
have
yet
to
see,
and
it's
been
about
a
year
now
and
I
think
I've
asked
for
it
before
we
need
to
have
that
report
of
what,
where
they've
gone,
where
they
have
inspected
it
and
what,
if
they
have
found.
So
that's
all
I
can
say
about
the
issue,
but
I
do
agree
with
you,
director,
Zimmer
that
that
everything
gets.
You
said
it
100%
actor,
Thank.

A
Other
discussion
hearing,
none
all
those
in
favor,
say
aye
aye,
those
opposed
the
eyes
have
it
in
motion
is
carried
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
number
seven
consideration
of
goods.
7A
is
tabulation
of
bids
and
return
of
bid,
bonds,
new
carpet
for
the
Carolyn
Kennedy
Library
Program
room
and
youth
area
from
library
director
McAfee
cafe,
chair
Councilwoman.
D
Hit
escape.
Thank
you,
madam
chair
I,
move
to
concur
with
our
library,
director,
Michael
McCaffrey
and
award
the
carpet
contract
for
the
program
room
in
the
youth
area
at
Carolyn,
Kennedy,
a
library
to
library
design
in
the
mountain
not
to
exceed
fifty
five
thousand
five
hundred
eleven
dollars
and
the
bonds
be
returned
to
bidding
parties
as
outlined
in
seven.
A
second.
L
A
C
Okay,
I'm
chair,
yes,
I,
concur
with
Mayor
Dan
Polanco.
We
had
listened
to
some
presentations
from
hype,
athletics
and
elite
sports
training,
the
last
council
meeting
on
Tuesday
and
further
mayor
hype.
Athletics
has
much
more
inclusive
programs
that
would
offer
services
to
a
wider
population
of
residents,
regardless
of
talent
or
financial
status.
Therefore,
the
mayor
recommended
the
city
of
German
heights
enter
into
an
agreement
with
hype,
athletics
and
further
recommend
the
corporation
council
prepare
contract
and
City
Council
authorized
the
clerk
city
clerk
to
sign
it,
as
outlined
in
item
8a.
D
G
N
I
Mr.
chairman,
yes,
if
I
might
I,
was
asked
by
the
council
to
make
recommendation
I
heard
both
presentations
I
think
both
presenters,
the
city
is
going
to
be
very
fortunate.
Whoever
wins
this,
however,
I
thought
that
the
hype
organization
and
how
they
service
is
closer
to
how
the
city
services
its
residents,
in
which
it's
open
to
everybody
I'm
a
little
bit
concerned,
because
the
last
couple
times
that
the
can't
field
center
has
been
contracted
out.
I
We've
had
private
people
and
it
really
has
been
open
to
the
residents
and
we
will
be
very
concerned
if
award
it
to
the
other
company.
We're
gonna
put
provisions
in
there
that
it
doesn't
become
solely
for
none
residents
and
also
for
the
Dearborn
Jaguars
soccer
and
may
put
the
different
height
soccer
out
of
business.
So
I
want
to
make
sure
that
it
is
open
to
our
regular
residents
and
that
all
people,
regardless
of
their
skill
level,
will
be
able
to
participate
in
the
structure.
Okay,.
A
D
G
G
You
know:
you're
you're,
saying
that
you're.
If
the
other
person
gets
the
contract,
you're
going
to
put
you're
gonna
happen
and
I,
don't
think
that's
fair
either
corporate
council
I'm
sure
is
well
aware
of
how
to
do
this
and
I
know
your
input
is
greatly
appreciated.
Theirs,
don't
we
have
stands
or
what's
about
it,
but
to
say
that
I
think
is
that
little
while
personally
I'm
lying
a
little
okay
now
I
may
be
wrong
and
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
but
that's
the
way
I
see
it.
I
G
I
I
agree
with
that.
Mr.
mayor,
but
I
think
both
parties
are
willing
to
put
a
lot
of
their
own
money
into
this
project
and
we'll
be
able
to
see
that
right
from
the
start.
If
they're
gonna
they're
gonna
fulfill
their
their
terms,
I
mean
we
could
put
four
visions
in
if
they
don't
upgrade.
The
facility,
like
they
said,
they're
gonna
I,
think
we
can
pay
for
the
collection.
If
I
make
people
say
that
or
not
so
I
think
either
one
is
going
to
be
perfectly
fine
it
and
what
they
do.
G
D
Clayton,
thank
you.
Ma'am,
chair,
councilman,
Muscat
I,
concur
with
everything
you
just
said.
I
think
both
are
very
reputable.
Both
there
needs
to
be
improvements
made
both
will
do,
would
do
that.
Obviously,
a
building
that
is
condemned
and
we
need
to
get
it
open
and
safe
and
operational,
but
I
am
I
want
to
show
that
I
encouraged
by
the
fact
that
the
other
RFP
elite
has
already
been
engaging.
C
Just
just
want
to
say
that
I've
looked
into
this,
you
know
pretty
pretty
detailed
and
we
listened
to
a
presentation.
Last
week
in
both
parties
made
excellent
presentations.
I
think
I
can
tell
you
myself
personally
I
think
either
organization
I,
don't
think
we'd
necessarily
go
wrong,
because
I
know
both
leaders
of
the
organization
they're,
both
people
of
high
character,
both
good
people
I
know
all
of
them
have
very
good
intentions.
My
biggest
concern
and
I
think
this
is
too
important
of
a
decision.
C
I'm
glad
we
did
a
study
session
on
this
is
we've
had
this
particular
the
camp
field
center
practically
stay
vacant
for
the
last
year,
I
near
there,
myself,
personally,
I
practically
didn't
even
know
it
existed,
because
the
last
entity
and
I
know
I'm
putting
myself
online
by
saying
this,
like
the
mayor,
said
for
all
intensive
purposes
really
wasn't
for
the
residents,
it
was
pretty
much
for
people
from
the
outside.
It
was
for
a
for-profit
center.
C
So
with
that
being
the
case,
I
want
to
make
sure
that
whoever
goes
in
there
now
is
gonna,
be
doing
a
lot
of
stuff
for
the
residents
of
the
area
and,
more
importantly,
for
the
children
and
seniors
of
the
area.
I
also
would
like
for
whoever
wins
this,
that
they
make
sure-
and
we
mentioned
this
last
time
at
the
study
session,
that
they,
even
though
from
a
physical
standpoint,
it
is
in
the
North
Heights
that
they
include.
C
You
know,
residents
of
the
South
Heights
area,
for
whatever
activities
that
they
have
also
an
additional
that
they
include
the
senior
centers
in
the
area.
We
have
one
in
the
North
one
in
the
South
include
them,
and
then,
in
addition
to
that,
the
children
in
the
area
make
sure
that
there
are
things
that
are
going
to
be
done
for
the
children
in
the
area.
I
do
know
their.
You
know.
Hype
athletics
sent
us
a
new
proposal
via
email
right.
C
I
just
like
to
make
a
comment
on
it,
and
I
am
NOT
an
attorney
as
far
as
legalese
but
I
can
tell
you.
This
we've
not
said
no
matter
which
organization
we
go
with.
We
haven't
signed
a
contract
with
them
and
once
we
pick
organization,
A
or
B
or
whatever
it
is
at
that
particular
point.
We're
gonna
be
negotiating
the
specifics
of
the
contract
and
at
that
point
we
can
put
in
provisions
based
on
possible
proposals
of
what
we
want
in
there
and
then
and
then
bring
up
the
new
dollar
figures
possible.
G
G
C
Okay,
as
long
as
we
get
a
buck
on
that
on
that
statement
after
analyzing
both
organizations-
and
this
is
not
the
official
vote
but
I
definitely
am
swinging
towards
hype
just
because
of
their
experience,
not
from
the
brigade
from
the
beginning.
I
had
a
very
open
mind
about
this
and
try
to
say
as
impartial
as
possible,
but
hype
does
have
the
proven
track
record
with
the
building
that
they
built
from
scratch
on
Warren,
Avenue
and
I.
Think
for
all
of
us
they
have
been.
C
A
C
A
I
A
O
I
A
A
G
A
C
A
H
Just
got
a
question
that
the
original
proposal
or
approval
for
$100,000
promotion
and
I
mean
I
understand
about
the
appraisals
coming
back,
but
it's
kind
of
significant
significantly
high
from
what
was
proposed
from
a
hundred
thousand
to
one
hundred
twenty
two,
then
127,
that's
like
20
to
30
percent
higher
each
facility.
So
what's
why.
I
These
are
residents,
we
hope
to
get
as
high
appraisal
as
we
can
and
we
went
up
for
bids
for
a
appraiser
and
then
the
State
Police
is
an
agent
for
FEMA
approves
the
amount,
so
it
really
I
guess
we're
on
the
side
of
the
residence,
the
more
they
can
get
the
better,
and
this
is
the
amount
that
was
approved
by
the
State
Police,
and
so
that's
why?
But
the
difference
is
a
budget
amount
versus
a
natural
appraisal.
Okay,.
A
E
D
K
L
A
D
A
C
C
A
G
Confer
with
department
head
bill,
Zimmer
and
the
purchasing
of
to
2018
for
transit,
specific
travel
bans
from
signature
for
for
twenty
nine
thousand
three
hundred
and
sixty
four
dollars
each.
This
is
a
special
pricing
to
Macomb
County
contract,
which
is
lower
than
a
state
contract
pricing,
as
outlined
in
19th
of
court.
Any.
G
C
A
A
C
G
Various
races
across
the
board
I
would
think
that
this
should've
came
to
Council
for
approval
before
we
even
decided
to
vote
on
it.
I
don't
even
know
who's
getting.
What
and
what
they're
getting
I'd
like
to
see
a
breakdown
of
what
everyone
is
getting.
We
just
can't
hand
out
raises
without
knowing
who
they're
going
to
agree.
A
G
I
Yeah
we
had
to
start
to
discussions
relative
to
this,
so
consequently
this
has
been
put
on
the
this
would
be
incorporated
in
our
continuing
operations.
So
consequently
we
looked
at
the
finances.
The
GPO
M
is
receiving.
These
increases
with
the
approval
by
the
council
last
year
in
December,
so
those
and
I
don't
think
there's
a
dispute
as
it
relates
to
the
finances
and
I
said
the
subsequent
memo
that
that
amount
is
exactly
what
is
on
that
two-page
you'll
be
signed,
so
it's
in
accordance
nobody's
objecting.
Today.
I
Would
I
would
suggest
if
you
want
to
have
for
next
Tuesday
committee,
a
hold
we
will,
but
there's
a
couple
things
you
should
be
aware
of
is
that
there
is
a
mouse
for
we
look
at
positions,
not
necessarily
the
individuals.
I
would
hope
this
council,
but
also
there
was
a
lot
of
study
put
in
through
HR
in
regards
to
what
neighboring
communities
that
are
our
size.
We
are
vastly
lower
than
everybody
and
will
be
vastly
lower.
Even
with
these.
I
So
even
if,
if
you
put
in
like
eighty
thousand
in
a
couple
instances
and
I'll
go
through
this
with
everybody,
but
if
we
had
to
get
someplace
to
get
started
right,
understand
phones
that
I
hate
to
get
too
specifics,
but
I
have
to
have
one
case,
we'll
use
the
new
controller
she
hired
in
on
January
1st
a
particular
price.
We
are
not
paying
the
controller,
what
controllers
get
paid
in
like
say,
Clair,
Shores
and
neighboring
communities
of
our
size,
I
will
look
at
in
six
months.
An
increase
for
her.
I
We
put
in
a
dollar
amount,
it's
kind
of
a
placeholder
for
her.
Now
what
she
gets
will
be
determined
on
how
much,
because
sometimes
with
employees
I'll
give
them
an
increase,
maybe
three
months
six
months
and
then
at
a
year
they
might
and
I
use
that
as
kind
of
a
motivation
and
see
how
everyone's
working
the
amount
for
the
deputy
and
the
clerk
and
the
deputy
in
the
treasurer's
department.
Once
again,
those
two
office
holders
will
decide.
What's
appropriate,
raises
I
input
from
our
city
clerk,
mr.
I
Hirsh,
Evitts
and
I
think
standard
I
seen
the
deputies
made
a
lot
of
sense,
so
there
was
an
attempt
to
do
that,
but
there
are
oddities
if
you
will
on
some
of
them.
So
even
even
though
there's
dollar
amounts
in
here,
you
will
find
that
that's
not
necessarily
what
that
particular
individuals
going
to
get
because
of
this
professional
circumstance.
I.

D
I
H
H
It's
a
good
cause
and
I
mean
I
like
what
I
see
here,
but
the
only
issue
that
we
had
that
I
had.
Is
you
guys
recommend
for
the
next
board
of
directors
who
are
really
going
to
be
leading
the
board?
We
got
to
make
sure
I
mean
they're.
They're
leaders
of
that
of
this
organization
or
any
leader
of
an
organization
has
to
be.
You
know
careful
what
they
say.
You
know
especially
I'm
reading
this
thing
here.
It
talks
about
diversity.
G
A
G
A
On
the
council
study
session
from
February
20th
2018
for
the
Campfield
Ice
Arena
I
would
like
to
recommend
that
the
city
of
Dearborn
Heights
enter
into
an
agreement
with
elite
sports.
I
also
recommend
that
corporation
council
prepare
a
contract
and
City
Council
authorized
the
city
clerk
and
the
mayor
to
sign
it,
and
this
is
Ray
musket.
A
G
I
A
L
Know
I
was
not
involved
in
the
discussions
with
regard
to
the
contract.
I
prepared
a
very
specific
RFP
to
make
it
as
easy
as
possible,
but
I
not
necessarily
feel
comfortable
with
just
preparing
an
agreement
without
it
coming
back
to
this
body
so
that
you
can
vote
on
what
I've
prepared.
So
if
someone
says
you
missed
something
because
I
I
don't
know
what
I
would
miss,
because
I
wasn't
involved
in
the
discussion,
I
would.
G
A
R
Presentations
were
very
well
done,
my
pastas
on
site
being
from
the
south
end.
I
specifically
asked
questions
about
the
south
end
and
the
best
answers
I
got
were
from
elite,
some
of
it,
which
can
included
transportation
of
residents
from
the
south
end
to
the
center
and
trainers
and
coaches
going
from
the
center
to
the
south
end.
Those
are
just
two
of
the
things
that
I
thought
were
really
important.
It
made
up
my
mind
any.
H
A
S
Good
evening,
mr.
mayor
City
Council,
madam
chair,
first
of
all,
this
has
been
a
long
process
for
me
and
Ally
for
me
dates
about
16
months
ago,
when
I
came
to
the
city
and
asked
them
if
I
can
improve
the
ice
arena
and
do
some
community
functions
during
the
process
mean
Ally
always
showed
each
other
a
lot
of
respect
in
class
on
how
they
want
to.
Thank
you
very
much
for
that
and
I
want
you
to
know
that
this
Center
is
your
center,
just
like
it's
mine
and
every
other
resident
in
the
city.
A
G
A
A
D
H
L
Now,
as
a
charitable
solicitation
license
is
specific,
we
have
a
specific
section
that
allows
for
this.
It
regulates
it
so
that
people
don't
end
up
going
into
the
roadway
and
they
have
to
end
up
having
appropriate
approval,
and
so
that's
the
nature
of
these.
You
see
them
for,
say,
good,
fellows
and
other
such
organizations.
R
A
R
On
behalf
of
myself
and
fellow
watershed,
steward
Commissioner,
Bob,
constant
and
all
the
other
watershed
steward
commissioners
I
would
like
to
announce
the
25th
annual
peak
Horse
Creek
cleanup
and
Ray
Richard,
a
young
rain
garden
maintenance
day,
that'll
be
on
Saturday
May
5th.
Last
year
we
had
over
a
hundred
and
thirty
volunteers
showed
up.
Each
of
them
received
a
custom-made
t-shirt.
R
The
day
starts
with
the
team's
registering
at
8
a.m.
and
going
out
to
various
locations
throughout
the
city,
at
the
eCourse
Creek
cleaning
up
the
banks
and
debris
out
of
the
creek,
and
some
teams
go
into
the
rain
gardens
and
if
everyone
hasn't
seen
the
rain
gardens
at
the
Richard
a
young
center,
they
should
go
see
him,
and
it
was
mentioned
on
our
van
burn
corridor
project,
where
the
rainwater
is
diverted
out
of
before
it
gets
into
the
sewer
system.
H
I
have
a
question:
I
know
if
it's
ordinance
or
the
building
department
there's
to
get
some
complaints,
two
areas,
one
is
the
Kroger
parking
lot
with
potholes
inside
and
we're
trying
to
beautify
our
city.
That's
one
area
that
needs
improvement
and
also
it's
there's
a
lot
of
I
want
to
visit
that
area
last
night
and
there's
a
lot
of
trash
actually
right
in
the
east
side
of
the
parking
lot
and
there's
huge
potholes
right
by
the
gas
station,
the
Kroger
gas
station.
H
T
The
property
manager
that
handles
that
first
Stewart
Franko
who's,
the
owner.
We
actually
have
an
appointment
with
him
this
week,
he's
coming
out
and
we're
gonna
walk
around
the
property.
We
do
it
a
couple
times
a
year.
We
have
to
do
it.
It's
a
very
busy
parking
lot.
I
know
what
you're
talking
about
it's
up
on
the
embankment.
That's
all
those
bags
get
blown
it's
kind
of
a
wind
tunnel
there
they
all
get
sucked
up
there.
T
Kroger's
usually
has
one
of
their
a
couple
of
their
employees
that
go
at
the
end
of
the
day
and
try
to
get
as
much
as
they
can.
They
do
a
better
job
in
the
spring
and
summer,
but
now
that
everything's,
melted,
they're
gonna
do
a
cleanup
but
we're
meeting
with
the
property
management
company.
This
week,
we
we
were
out
there
last
week
and
got
communication
to
them.
So
thank.
H
D
I,
don't
want
to
be
the
bearer
of
bad
news
or
say
the
S
word
here,
but
I
understand
the
weather
forecast
for
us
we're
looking
at
two
to
four
more
inches
this
week,
so
with
that
I
just
want
to
remind
our
residents
that
we
do
have
complimentary
snow
removal,
services
for
our
senior
citizens
and
disabled
residents.
So
let
us
know
if
you
are
unable
to
do
your
snow
removal.
D
A
G
I
would
like
to
get
an
update
on
the
warm
Valley
why
this
hasn't
been
consummated.
Yeah
I
mean
we
just
should
have
been
done
a
long
time
ago,
and
we
don't
own
it
yet,
and
golf
season
is
right
around
the
corner
here
and
I'm.
Getting
phone
calls
from
people
who
golf
that
I
used
to
work
with
they've
got
a
nice
rope,
a
brand
new
rope.
They
said
that
they're
gonna
tie
up.
Warn
me.
L
We've
had
a
problem
with
getting
the
legal
description
updated
and
some
of
the
things
having
to
do
with
the
easements.
These
should
be
taken
care
of
by
the
end
of
the
week,
and
after
that
we
have
two
other
things
we
have
the
liquor
license
and
we
have
an
assignment
agreement.
County
Commission
is
going
to
be
putting
that
onto
their
agenda
very
soon
and
with
respect
to
the
and
then
the
other
thing
we
have
is
just
to
end
up
having
a
sufficient
time
from
the
Liquor
Control
Commission
to
get
back
to.
L
G
I've
asked
ordinance
about
these
before
reported
a
few
they've
they've
come
out
and
they
they
seem
to
get
it
cleaned
up
for
a
while,
but
these
commercial
vehicles
are
usually
parked
after
seven
o'clock
at
night
and
there's
no
one
there
to
come
and
see
them
just
around
the
corner
from
me,
there's
six
commercial
vehicles
parked
at
after
seven
o'clock
at
night
we're
starting
to
look
like
an
industrial
Parkway
instead
of
a
residential
area.
Some
of
these
people
have
paid
a
lot
of
money
for
their
homes
and
we've
got
vans
with
ladders
and
material
in
them.
G
G
Don't
see
why
we
should
adapt
to
having
vehicles
like
that
on
our
streets,
we've
also
having
a
hard
time
now
with
people
calling
and
complaining
about
neighbors
cars
in
front
of
their
homes
on
trash
pickup.
One
guy
called
me
up
and
told
me
that
it
was
City
Council
that
refused
to
put
up
the
street
signs.
That
said,
no
parking
at
tracks
day,
I,
don't
think
that's
true
I
advocated
for
street
signs,
okay
and
it
wasn't
council's
decision
for
the
police
to
stop
ticketing
vehicles
on
the
street.
People
are
being
told
that
it's
council's
decision.
G
G
We
go
back
to
this
from
a
few
years
back
when
I
was
on
the
other
side
of
this
table
and
I
wanted
it
done
two
or
three
years
for
for
this,
because
to
get
these
citizens
acclimated
to
no
parking
on
trash
pickup,
and
it's
come
now
that
we're
having
about
we
got
neighbors
who've
been
friends
for
15
20
25
years,
arguing
with
one
another.
Now,
we've
caused
a
dilemma
here
that
needs
to
be
fixed
and
we
have
an
ordinance
on
on
the
books
right
now
that
needs
to
be
enforced.
G
G
People
are
starting
to
fight
with
one
another.
We
can't
have
that
anymore
and
I
and
I
told
the
people
that
that
emailed
me
and
called
me
I
bring
it
up
and
I'm
gonna
leave
it
into
the
administration's
hand
to
find
out
what
we're
gonna
do
about
this.
Okay,
because
I've
even
went
and
talked
to
to
the
record
administrators.
The
judges
I,
don't.
K
G
So
I
don't
know
where
the
answer
is:
that's
up
to
corporation
council
to
figure
that
out
as
far
as
the
legal
part
of
it
goes
and
the
other
thing
is,
is
we
have
a
lot
of
people
selling
vehicles
from
their
homes
to
many
I
reported
it
again
to
the
Ordnance
Department
about
one
particular
moment
bringing
a
car
in
there.
You
have
no
license
plate
on
the
vehicle.
Then
ordinance
goes
out
there,
it
does
their
job.
The
person
puts
a
license
plate
on
it,
but
I'm
not
sure
that
license
plates
registered
to
that
vehicle.
G
We
need
to
limit
the
amount
of
cars
being
sold
by
people
from
their
homes
to
baby
three
and
year,
and
that's
no
exception,
that
is
for
everybody.
We've
got
people
who
are
actually
running
dealerships
out
of
their
homes.
This
is
residential
area
and
one
of
those
car
lot.
Let's
go
go,
get
a
used.
Car
dealership
somewhere
leave
our
residents
alone.
That's
my
rant.
A
C
He
said
that
did
I
really
done
Beach
daily,
as
I
drove
by
it
or
on
it,
I
told
most
still
pretty
bad,
so
I
just
wanted
to
give
him
a
shout-out,
because
today,
as
I
was
driving
on
Beach
daily,
there
was
the
trucks
over
there
and
then
filling
in
all
the
different
potholes
so
and
I
sent
him
a
text
message
thanking
him.
So
I
was
trying
to
give
him
a
public
shout
out
to
thank
him
for
the
stuff
that
he's
doing
on
beach,
daily,
specifically
and
I'm
sure
he's
doing
in
other
streets.
P
I
There
first
off,
we
had
at
7
o'clock
meeting
and-
and
some
of
you
attended,
dealing
with
the
Vanhorn
quarter
in
a
streetscape
residents,
will
learn
more
about
this
particular
project.
But
we're
really
excited
it's
a
joint
project
between
the
city
of
Taylor
and
the
city
of
Dearborn
Heights
to
help
beautify
and
do
a
really
nice
job
on
a
streetscape
for
Van
Boram
quarter.
I
Secondly,
one
can
better
appreciate
the
amount
of
risks
that
our
firefighters
and
our
police
handle
every
single
day.
I
received
a
call
right
around
lunchtime
today
there
was
the
garage
fire
in
the
city
and
one
of
our
firefighters
as
a
result
of
an
explosion,
was
sent
back
about
30
feet
from
the
entranceway.
I
He
is
going
to
be
ok
and
it
just
is
a
reminder
that
those
kind
of
jobs
in
the
same
way
that,
when
our
DPW
I
think
there
was
a
casualty
in
another
community,
but
when
they
get
into
those
repair
work
and
we
used
to
mesh
and
everything
that's
required,
but
those
are
very
dangerous
jobs
and
so
keep
that
firefighter
in
your
prayers.
But
he
seemed
to
be
ok
but
very
sword.
The
nurse
and
the
doctor
told
both
the
chief
and
I
that
he's
really
gonna
feel
it
tomorrow.
So
that
was
a
major
concern.
I
Lastly,
I
want
to
thank
attended
a
meeting
last
Thursday
at
d7
and
I
want
to
compliment
superintendent
Jennifer
mass,
because
it
was
well
attended
the
anxiety
shown
by
the
students
and
the
parents,
one
when
I
was
growing
up
one
took
for
granted,
you
went
to
school,
it
was
safe
and
you
have
to
worry
about
the
kinds
of
things
that
now
students
have
to
worry
about
and,
like
I
said,
the
the
amount
of
emotion
that
was
expressed
there.
So
our
Police
Department
is
working
very
closely
with
all
of
our
schools.
U
Hello,
council,
chair
and
mayor
I
just
wanted
to
talk
about
a
couple
of
upcoming
events
at
the
library
on
Monday
March
5th
at
7
p.m.
at
Carolyn,
Kennedy
Library.
We
will
be
discussing
hydrangeas
101.
Did
you
know
that
hydrangeas
are
the
number
one
googled
plan
on
the
internet
about
that,
but
the
beauty
of
hydrangeas
are
unmistakable
and
a

Next
Saturday
March
10th
at
2
p.m.
at

U
We
invite
you
to
spring
clean
your
life.
Does
your
life
need
a
spring
clean?
Do
you
find
yourself
saying
I
should,
and
this
should
never
happens.
Yeah
this
fun
workshop
gives
you
the
time
to
review
what
is
important
to
help
forward
move
forward
from
procrastination
to
action
so
join
and
make
a
difference
in
your
life.
That's
all
for
now.
Thanks
for
your
time,
man
see
at
the
library.
G
V
Good
evening,
everyone,
mr.
mayor
City
Council
a
member
of
the
public,
just
a
quick
reminder
that
in
two
weeks
on
march
13th
Community
Development
will
be
doing
their
second
public
hearing.
We
would
really
like
to
encourage
the
public
to
show
up,
hopefully
we'll
have
as
many
people
at
our
meeting
in
two
weeks,
I'll
be
set
up
at
seven
o'clock
right
before
City
Council.
Thank
you
very
much.
Thank.
W
A
Q
Evening
I've
been
involved
with
youth
and
my
in
this
other
city
nearby
here
for
a
long
long
time
was
40
years.
I
commend
this
council
and
administration
for
looking
to
put
together
Commission
on
women
and
girls.
It's
a
catchphrase,
we
always
use.
We
want
to
empower
our
girls,
we
want
power,
young
people,
but
then,
as
politicians,
not
only
any
disrespect
them
involved
tools
and
politics
we
get
away
from
that.
So
I
know
there's
some
work
to
be
done.
Q
Minor
details
we
put
together,
but
for
my
experience,
if
you
trust
and
empower
these
young
people,
especially
the
young
girls,
they
will
not
let
you
down.
They
are
free
thinkers.
I've
learned
that
I
learn
from
them
to
be
honest
with
you,
so
do
not
put
hurdles
in
front
of
them.
Do
not
tell
them
how
to
think
or
what
to
think
guide
them
they're
your
future
guide
and
they
will
make
you
proud.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Q
A
N
It
was
actually
supposed
to
be
postponed
to
today,
but
within
that
time,
I
had
the
chance
to
personally
speak
with
Councilman
David
ala,
Bob,
constant
and
Rhema
Scott,
who
showed
their
support
for
the
Commission
and
I
really
appreciate
that
I
know
that
you
guys
all
have
very
busy
schedules
so
yeah.
This
week,
I
was
told
if
the
first
reading
of
the
ordinance
would
be
today
and
it's
not
on
the
agenda.
N
This
is
because
now,
apparently,
there
are
issues
with
the
ordinance
issues
that
were
not
established
or
resolved
when
the
draft
was
first
submitted
almost
a
month
ago.
During
this
time,
I
also
had
the
chance
to
speak
with
Mayor
Paulette
Coe,
and
he
also
voiced
his
support
for
the
Commission,
but
he
also
voiced
his
concerns,
which
included
wanting
to
have
full
control
over
all
Commission
chair
appointments.
In
fact,
I
was
told
over
the
phone.
N
He
would
do
everything
in
his
power
and
this
is
quote-unquote
to
not
let
this
Commission
go
through
unless
he
had
the
sole
right
to
appoint
all
of
the
Commission
members
on
this
Commission
than
they
are
also
earlier
stated
that
he
was
excluded
from
the
meetings.
That
is
not
true
and
it
was
not
anybody's
intention.
We
actually
made
efforts
together,
as
we
both
discussed
to
meet
three
weeks
in
a
row
and
the
meeting
kept
being
postponed,
because
you
had
some
issues
that
you
had
to
deal
with,
which
is
totally
understandable,
but
to
say
that
being
excluded.
N
N
Who
has
the
power
to
appoint
whoever
it
is
as
long
as
everybody
on
the
Commission
is,
is
well
equipped
to
do
the
work,
but
I
do
not
care
who
has
power
over
what
so
long
as
it
is
fair,
and
it's
just
I
just
want
this
Commission
to
go
through
doing
something
great
for
my
city
should
not
be
this
difficult,
and
it's
been
extremely
difficult
for
reasons
that
should
not
be
I
should
not
have
to
jump
through
a
number
of
political
Hoops
to
do
something
good.
It's
very
embarrassing.
N
I
I
I
And
this
particular
woman
is
very
active
in
women
issues
and
I
thought
would
be
an
excellent
person
as
a
individual
for
the
particular
Commission
and
I
had
provided
are
actually
Elizabeth
had
provided
her
name
and
her
phone
number.
We
actually
made
a
call
from
my
office
three
weeks
ago
and
less
ago,
and
no
one
has
contacted
her.
I
hope
that
she
still
isn't
hurt,
but
I
don't
want
to
get
for
a
tip
triad.
K
I
But
there
were
issues
that
came
up
that
the
latest
thing
in
January
this
thing
it
really
got
off
in
the
wrong
foot
and
there
were
a
whole
bunch
of
issues.
I
thought
that
one
of
the
things
that
might
satisfy
all
the
council
members.
If
the
mayor
made
the
appointments,
if
one
of
you
had
a
difficulty
or
any
of
us,
had
difficulty
with
something,
it
would
be
easy
to
make
the
change
the.
I
S
D
Don't
celesta
be
put
on
agenda
then
and
I
know
and
I'm
not
gonna
be
tit
for
tat,
but
you
know
there
was
communication
and
I
have
not
heard
of
your
person,
but
certainly
that
is
welcome.
You
know
to
the
discussion
that
we
will
have
with
Gary
Miyake,
but
I
had
from
the
very
beginning
had
asked.
Would
that
be
added
on
the
agenda
even
back
in
January,
so
that
correspondence
was
always
there,
including
the
emails
and
conversations
everybody
was
included
in
the
conversation
I.
I
D
G
Believe
this
is
going
to
come
about
one
way
or
another.
We
have
to
be
patient.
Let's
not
get
carried
away.
We
will
come
to
a
head
somewhere
down
the
line
here.
Hopefully
sooner
than
later,
I
spoke
with
Dana
on
the
phone
for
a
guy
I
think
was
over
an
hour
one
night
and
at
one
point
it
got
heated.
Then
it
got
cooled
off
and
then
we
kind
of
saw
eye
to
eye
and
I
appreciate
her
calling
me
or
I
called
her
I.
G
Don't
know
I
forget
now
who
did
what,
but
it
was
a
pleasure
speaking
with
you,
you're
in
a
very
intelligent
young,
lady
and
somewhere
along
the
line.
This
is
gonna
get
resolved
so
just
be
patient.
Please,
let's
go
through
the
process.
Sometimes
it
takes
longer
than
what
we
want.
I
can
assure
you.
There's
been
many
times
where
I've
sat
in
that
seat,
that
you're
sitting
now
and
try
to
go
up
there.
The
second
time
it
got
shot
down.
Okay,
so
don't
feel
like
it's
to
you.
It
gets
for
everyone.
Okay,.
L
B
L
In
terms
of
sequence,
if
I
could
clarify,
I
have
received
direction
from
yourself
to
work
on
this
with
the
Councilwoman
Councilwoman
and
I
talked.
She
said
that
heating
it
for
the
first
meeting
in
February
would
be
fine.
I
submitted
it
mayor,
recognized
that
he
saw
some
things
that
were
very
problematic.
My
cover
letter
even
said.
Look,
this
really
needs
revisions
and
that's
how
we
ended
up
getting
to
where
we
are
now
so
there's
been.
L
O
My
name
is
Mohammad
I,
just
a
sixth
floor,
105
Coleman
I'm,
a
resident
of
Dearborn,
not
given
heights.
My
still
not
to
speak,
yes,
sure
go
ahead,
so
I
just
wanted
to
talk
about
the
Commission
I'm,
a
very
good
friend
of
Donna
and
Dom
I
just
wanted
to
speak,
not
regarding,
like
the
actual,
like
Commission
or
the
process,
but
just
the
fact
that
there's
been
some
very
disturbing
activities.
O
Five
people
in
the
City
Council
and
the
mayor
himself,
and
these
activities
include
pretty
much
blackmailing
and
threatening
an
initiative
that
a
citizen
from
the
city
of
Dearborn
brings
up.
Donna
has
worked
hard
in
almost
everything
that
she
has
ever
wanted
to
yeah
whether
it
was
at
University
of
Michigan
Dearborn.
She
brought
up
all
these
different
organizations.
O
I
understand
all
of
that
and
I
tell
her
that
you
just
sometimes
you
just
gotta,
wait
a
little
bit,
but
the
problem
that
I
have
as
a
friend
and
when
I
see
one
of
my
friends
getting
blood
of
their
phone
is
getting
blown
up
by
people
who
you
expect
to
be
professionals
now
talking
about
and
at
like
10
11
p.m.
their
phones.
Getting
there
blowing
up
her
phone.
O
A
O
Alright,
it's
alright,
it
doesn't
need
to
be
said
it
just
not
now,
there's
no
I
don't
know
how
these
people
know
that
there
are
people
out
there.
That
supporter
and
we're
not
afraid
to
put
them
on
blast,
show
some
respect.
Show
some
respect
for
your
citizens
show
respect
for
yourself
for
real.
Thank.
A
K
A
K
W
W
A
good
thing
when
the
city
of
Dearborn
decided
mayor
guide
to
decided
to
review
the
salary
of
the
elected
officials.
He
put
it
on
the
ballot.
The
residents
of
Dearborn
elected
the
Commission,
who
changed
the
salaries
of
the
people
in
the
city
council
approved
it
now.
I,
don't
want
to
be
aggressive
toward
anybody,
but
the
mayor
said
he
likes
to
be
included
in
the
Commission
for
the
girls
I
wish
that
we
do
the
same
thing.
We
include
the
City
Council
from
the
Commission
to
review
the
salaries,
not
to
be
your
appointment.
W
G
W
W
Want
to
say
last
thing:
if
you
allow
me,
the
resident
of
this
city
gave
the
Hadley
override
to
increase
the
property
tax
to
help
the
city
get
out
of
the
hardship
we
the
same
way
you
give
the
elected
officials
and
the
heads
of
the
departments
increase
of
salary.
Please
give
us
back
a
portion
of
what
we
gave
before
you
give
everybody
else.
That's
what
I'm
asking
okay.
