From YouTube: Dearborn Heights City Council Meeting: 3/23/21
Description
The Dearborn Heights City Council Meeting taking place Tuesday, March 23rd 2021 via Zoom.
A
Good
evening,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
today
is
march
23rd
2021.
This
is
our
electronically
held
regular
meeting
of
the
dearborn
heights
city
council.
It's
a
virtual
meeting
before
I
take
roll
call,
I'd
like
to
make
an
announcement
that
there
will
be
no
texting
or
calling.
This
would
be
in
violation
of
the
open
meetings
act.
So
you
cannot
text
or
call
any
of
the
council
members.
We
are
subject
to
foia.
Even
if
somebody
decides
to
erase
their
text
message,
it
can
still
be
pulled
up
by
the
phone
company.
A
B
Just
a
reminder
to
council
members
to
state
the
city
and
state
in
which
you're
currently
located
dave,
abdullah,
muted,
oh,
which
one
he's
up
there
twice
so
which.
C
B
Hey
zuhair
alderhawk.
G
Gear
sunny
dearborn
heights
wayne
county
michigan.
F
A
A
D
A
G
Move
that
we
allow
chief
myers
to
address
the
council
and
joseph
stevens.
A
B
It
takes
a
while
right,
madam
chair,
I
know
there's
such
a
delay
in
this.
I
don't
want
to
hit
it.
B
B
A
J
J
H
A
J
A
Okay,
well,
I
I
will
do
the
moment.
I
was
going
to
do
a
moment
of
silence
after
this
kind
of
go
hand
in
hand.
So
at
this
point
I
like
to
do
a
moment
of
silence
for
the
victims
of
the
terrible
shooting
in
boulder
colorado
and
the
death
of
10
people,
including
a
police
staff,
a
police
officer
with
a
family.
At
this
time
I
asked
we
take
a.
A
A
Would
it
help
if
one
of
us
re
sent
the
agenda
to
you?
Yes,.
J
All
right,
sorry
about
that,
no
problem,
this
recommendation
for
council
citation
is
part
of
so
many
windows
open.
I
apologize
is
part
of
our
efforts
to
recognize
the
police
work
of
our
officers
and
the
dangers
that
they
face
and
the
good
work
that
they
face
every
single
day
out
here
on
may
13
2018,
our
police
department
was
faced
with
a
very
difficult
decision.
J
We
were
dispatched
to
a
run
in
the
area
of
warren
and
telegraph
in
which
responding
officers
were
notified
of
a
person
walking
around
with
a
long
rifle
in
the
area
of
the
shell
gas
station
in
the
boneyard
restaurant
at
warren
and
telegraph,
our
officers
responded
and
were
met
with
an
individual
that
was
confrontational
armed
with
a
long
rifle
during
that.
Just
during
the
attempt
to
speak
with
that
individual
multiple
officers
remain
very
calm.
J
They
remain
very
courageous
in
their
attempt
to
protect
the
people
at
the
shell
station
drivers
on
telegraph,
as
they
were,
attempting
to
negotiate
with
the
individual
with
the
long
rifle
that
individual
then
raised
up
the
long
rifle
and
pointed
his
weapon
in
the
direction
of
our
road
patrol
officers.
J
At
that
time,
sergeant
c
stevens,
who
was
actually
patrol
officer
stevens,
was
forced
to
make
one
of
the
most
difficult
decisions
he
had
in
his
life
to
protect
the
officers
who
were
in
absolute
danger
for
their
safety
and
their
lives,
and
he
engaged
that
suspect
and
stopped
that
suspect
from
harming
our
officers
or
anyone
else
in
that
area.
J
This
is
one
of
the
toughest
things
a
police
officer
does
his
actions
were
both
honorable
and
they
were
found
to
be
within
the
justifications
of
the
state
of
michigan
and
of
the
laws
of
the
united
states,
and
he
was
cleared
of
that
investigation
and
our
police
department
would
like
the
city
council
to
recognize
the
excellent
work
that
sergeant
stevens.
Then
patrol
officer
stevens
did
that
evening
with
a
the
issuance
of
a
council
citation.
A
A
Myers
is
officer
stevens
in
here
tonight.
J
Officer,
stevens
is
not,
he
was
kind
of
too
humble
for
it.
So
we're
asking
that
the
council
award
that
that
honor
and
we
will
be
sure
to
present
it,
and
I
will
continue
to
to
contact
him
and
try
to
encourage
him
to
come
to
a
council
and
be
part
of
the
presentation.
But
I
I
do.
I
do
appreciate
his
humility
and
he
appreciates
the
residence,
but
this
was
something
that
he
felt
you
just.
I
wanted
to
respect
his
wishes.
G
I
moved
that
city
council
award
council
citation
to
honor
officer
joseph
stevens
for
his
courageous
work
on
a
day
in
question,
and
may
god
bless
him
and
carry
him
throughout
the
rest
of
his
career.
C
Back
when
I
was
in
high
school
not
too
long
ago,
I
went
to
school
with
mr
stevens
officer
stevens,
and
let
me
tell
you
great
guy
football
star.
I
believe
he
was
on
mr
crestwood.
He
may
have
won
mr
crossfit
at
the
year
when
he
was
there
and
joey
stevens
what
a
great
guy
and
to
hear
you
know
this,
I'm
so
honored
to
be
able
to
be
on
this
council
with
some
being
able
to
give
him
that
so
chief.
C
Thank
you
for
that
and
thank
him
for
most
and
all
the
councils,
especially
from
tom,
hey,
I'm
real,
proud
of
him
and
for
everything
that
he's
doing-
and
I
know
that
was
something
that
was
real,
hard
hard
decision
and
you
know
what.
But
he
put
the
residence
first
and
he
put
safety
first,
and
I
thank
them
for
that.
Every
single
day.
G
E
A
G
I
move
city
council
move
to
closed
session
support.
L
A
B
K
A
M
Council
chair,
I
actually
have
to
be
the
the
host.
If
you
want
to
swap
me
and
then
I'll
swap
you
back
afterward
no
problem.
Thank
you.
N
A
A
A
A
O
A
Those
opposed
are
approved
next
we
have
public
hearings
and
comment
on
agenda
items.
This
is
in
regards
to
items
on
this
agenda
only,
and
you
have
a
two
minute
limit.
You
do
need
to
state
your
name
street
city
and
county.
A
B
P
A
F
A
By
councilman,
I'm
sorry,
I'm
not
used
to
your
voice.
Yet
is
there
any
discussion,
all
those
in
favor
say
aye
aye,
those
opposed
the
eyes
have
it.
Next
we
have
consideration
of
bids.
This
is
dpw
director,
selmy
bid
award
for
2021,
2022
street
and
sidewalk
repair
program.
A
D
I
moved
that
the
jailbone
heights
city
council
award
the
bid
for
2021
2022
street
and
sidewalk
repair
program
to
zuniga
concrete
in
the
amount
of
761
666
and
25
cents,
as
they
are
the
lowest
qualified
bidder.
This
will
be
paid
from
the
water
and
sewer
department,
as
well
as
the
highway
department,
depending
on
the
department
for
which
the
repair
is
completed.
D
L
F
This
was
the
second
lowest
qualified
bid
and
was
selected
since
the
lowest
qualified
bid
did
not
provide
some
of
the
features
that
were
required.
This
will
be
partially
funded
from
capital
outlay
and
partially
financed.
These
details
will
be
brought
forward
in
a
future
council
motion
from
the
treasurer
once
the
details
are
solidified.
E
E
Okay,
I
would
like
mr
chief
program
to
tell
me
if
he
has
enough
money
and
our
capital
outlay
and
where
he's
going
to
get
the
rest
of
the
money.
If
we
don't
have
enough.
O
Sure
so
so
we've
that
was,
if
you
look
at
the
way
that
it
was
the
motion
came
through,
was
to
finance
a
portion
of
it
and
then
put
money
down
for
a
portion
of
it
and
so
right
now
we
do
have
six
hundred
thousand
dollars
in
capital
outlay.
O
That
was
set
aside
just
for
this
purchase,
but
I
can
tell
you
that
it
takes
about
a
year
to
build
the
truck,
and
so
we
won't
be
taking
delivery
of
it
until
the
next
budget
cycle.
So
we're
going
to
be
looking
to
put
this
money.
O
I
actually
spoke
about
this
with
the
mayor
at
a
budget
meeting
just
earlier
this
week,
but
the
the
full
payment
isn't
going
to
be
until
next
year
and
then
we
would
determine
how
much
we
want
to
put
down
and
how
much
we
want
to
finance
if
we
want
to
finance
any
at
all.
This
is
how
we
purchase
the
last
few
fire
trucks
that
we've
had
to
buy
on
our
own.
O
That's
correct:
that's
how
we've
done
the
past
several
fire
trucks,
that's
how
we
purchased
them.
E
O
O
O
R
O
A
three
quarter
inch
and
three
quarter
and
a
two
and
a
half
on
our
other
trucks.
That's
the
setup
that
we
have
and
on
the
on
the
bid
that
we
got
had
an
inch
and
three
quarter
inch
and
three
quarter,
and
it
didn't
have
a
two
and
a
half
inch
head
hose
load
there.
They
they
they
moved
it
to
the
back
of
the
truck.
H
Hi
chief,
is
there
any
tip
of
money
or
grant
money
available
for
this.
O
You
know
we've
been
trying
to
get.
We
we
write
for
a
for
an
engine
every
single
year.
That's
one
of
the
one
of
the
afg
grants
you
can
write
for
and
we
haven't
had
any
success
and
that's
why
we
put
some
of
these
off
as
long
as
we
have
we're
kind
of
hoping
to
get
it
and
we
we've
submitted
for
another,
because
we
have
two
of
these
trucks
that
are
that
are
pretty
old.
O
L
D
You
know
I'll
it's
okay,
I'll
I'll
talk
to
the
chief
about
it.
Well,
actually,
chief,
if
I
could
ask
you
just
quick,
can
you
give
us
just
a
general
bird's
eye
view
as
far
as
where
you
stand
as
a
department,
as
far
as
the
trucks,
ambulances,
et
cetera,
et
cetera,
that
you
are
going
to
be
meeting
in
roughly
within
how
many
years.
O
Three
years,
I'm
saying
sure
so
so
we
do
have
another
fire
truck
that
does
need
to
be
replaced,
and
after
that
we
would
be
good
on
fire
trucks.
I
I'm
trying
to
put
that
push
that
purchase
off
as
long
as
we
can,
because
what
happened
20
years
ago
is
we
bought
several
trucks
right
in
a
row
and
then
they
all,
you
know,
got
old
right
in
a
row
and
so
they
need
to
be
replaced,
and
that
creates
a
big
burden
when
you
have
an
expense.
O
This
big
that
needs
to
that
needs
to
happen
so
close
together.
So
I'm
trying
to
extend
the
life
of
the
trucks
but
they're
already
a
1994
truck
that
you
know
they're
they're,
very
old
trucks,
but
we're
we're
hoping
to
get
a
few
more
years
out
of
it,
because
we'll
have
three
newer
engines
that
we
could
have
in
service
in
front
of
it.
O
O
I
know
you
asked
for
it
before
I
wanted
to
show
it
to
the
mayor,
which
I
did
in
our
last
in
our
meeting
last
week
and
I'll,
pour
you
a
copy
of
that
as
well,
so
you
can
kind
of
get
a
snapshot
of
where
all
of
our
vehicles
are
at
the
ages
of
every
vehicle
we
have
in
a
in
a
kind
of
replacement.
You
can
kind
of
get
a
feel
of
when
they
need
to
be
replaced.
A
C
G
This
is
very
important.
This
also
goes
hand
in
hand
with
the
movies
with
with
our
studio,
we
have
almost
900
000
in
that
fund
and
we
could
utilize
city,
council
chambers
as
part
of
the
studio.
G
I
see
where
we
have
parts
of
the
city
council
down
in
the
basement,
work
where
equipment,
electronic
equipment
could
be
put
on
racks
to
give
us
more
space,
and
I
believe
this
is
very
important
and
I
am
hoping
my
council
friends
here
will
approve
this
motion.
E
I
think
this
is
a
great
idea
of
mayor
bill,
bessey
and
it's
about
time-
and
I
know
yourself
and
everybody
I
know
on
the
city
council
have
been
pushing
for
years
for
this,
so
I
hope
we
approve
it
and
we
move
as
soon
as
possible
to
have
something
we
are
proud
of
in
the
city
council.
Thank.
A
S
D
Although
all
we
can
in
favor
of
renovations
I've,
I've
said
the
better
words
really
really
old.
Can
you
hear
me
now?
Yes,
okay,
sorry
about
that.
So
I
know
the
council
chambers
are
really
really
old
and
I've
forever
and
ever
and
ever
every
time
I've
been
on
a
council
when
this
subject
has
brought
been
brought
up.
I've
mentioned
that
I
don't
know
of
any
city
that
has
something
older
other
than
the
city
well
kind
of
city
of
greenfield
village.
D
That's
just
not
worth
throwing
money
on
and
we
have
to
start
considering
that
possibly
maybe
selling
this
particular
building
moving
into
a
different
area
or
building
in
a
different
area.
And
I
know
we
have
some
land.
We
don't
have
a
lot,
but
we
have
some
land,
even
possibly
a
warren
valley
or
another
possible
crestwood
or
maybe
anywhere
else.
But
I
I
I
have
a
concern
about
possibly
spending
a
lot
of
money
and
then
ending
up
being
thrown
away.
T
Yeah
madam
chair
yeah,
yeah
yeah,
he
came
up
broken
console
pro
tem
abdullah
thanks
thanks
for
your
thanks
for
the
question.
Actually,
you
know
since
you
and
I
had
that
discussion
the
other
day
I
just
wanna-
I
guess
you
know
from
the
the
latest.
You
know
we
have
that.
T
The
engineer
that
is
actually
gonna
come
in
he's
gonna,
look
at
the
most
economical
way
to
retrofit
the
area
just
to
make
sure
just
in
case
you
know
well
when
covet
or
when
we
get
the
clear
to
meet
in
person,
you
know
being
up
close
and
personal
the
way
it
is
right.
Now
it's
not
it's
not
acceptable,
obviously,
for
the
council
members
to
be
that
close
to
each
other
and
also
even
even
if
we
get
that
clear.
You
know.
As
you
know,
I
mean
we
have
the
cl.
T
T
So
that's
one
of
the
goals
at
the
council
chambers
for
the
council
members
to
be
separated
the
same
as
I've
seen
other
municipalities
or
other
cities.
They
have
dividers
in
between
council
members
and
you
know
they
have
a
also
a
separation.
So
that's
my
intent
is
to
make
it
most
economical
way.
So
there's
no
like
waste
of
time
and
just
to
be
able
to
utilize
that
console
chambers
and
with
the
least
amount
of
repairs
or
at
least
amount
of
retro.
D
T
Well,
we're
gonna,
obviously
with
what
we're
gonna
try
to
do.
The
first
thing
is:
we're
gonna
have
the
engineer
actually
when
they
do
a
walk-in
they'll,
do
a
walk-in
bed
for
rfps
for
people
to
come
in,
so
they
have
whatever
amount
of
companies.
T
When
you
guys
approve
the
bit,
I
mean
the
rfp
request
will
get
the
engineer
to
come
in
and
we
have
to
obviously
re
revise
that
whole
area
where
the
console
sits
and
we
have
to
make
it
ada
approved
as
well,
because,
currently
it's
not
so
we
have
to
make
it
ada,
you
know
approved
and
also
which
we
have
for
the
chairs.
T
You
know
the
old
chairs
we
have
to
get
rid
of
because
the
separation
again,
you
know
we
have
to
get
rid
of
them
and
possibly
put
you
know,
just
individual
chairs
in
in
the
chambers.
You
know
just
to
comply
with
the
social
distance,
but
we're
going
to
try
to
do
the
minimal
amount
of
retrofit
as
possible.
T
And
again,
you
know,
as
you
know,
you're
requested
what
we
don't
know
how
long
this
city,
how
we're
going
to
be
here,
obviously
has
to
be
authorized
by
the
council
to
even
make
such
a
big
move.
But
for
you
know
this
year
and
possibly
next
year,
we
don't
know
where,
where
we're
going
to
be
so,
but
for
for
now
we
have
to
make
it.
I
guess
you
know
friendly
people
can
actually
sit,
sit
there
with
social
distance,
and
you
guys
can
sit.
T
A
I've
got
a
question
if
we
are
making
changes
to
the
council
chambers
due
to
kovac.
Don't
we
have
a
grant
for
that
to
make
you
know
to
be
used
for
covered
purposes.
T
So
we
we
we
do
have
a
grant
coming
in
for
for
the
covet.
Yes,
but
right
now
we
don't.
Obviously
we
there's
no
money,
there's
no,
no
money
as
of
right
now,
so
we're
gonna
have
to
do
what
the
councilmember
mentioned
is
with
the
peg.
T
You
know
we
can
call
that
studio,
2
and
use
some
of
the
peg
money
categorized
as
studio
2
and
with
the
cameras
you
know
we
have
to
submit
something
at
the
next
council
meeting,
an
rfp
for
cameras,
so
those
will
be
mobile
cameras,
so
we
can
move
them.
Whenever
we
move,
we
can
just
move
the
camera.
We
don't
have
to
waste
any
money
on.
A
G
C
C
And
I
I
just
have
a
question,
and
I
know
that
you
know
this.
I
think
this
is
a
great
idea
having
management
it's
great
right,
but
is
this
going
to
be
something
you
know?
I
know
we're
going
on
for
a
bit,
but,
let's
just
say
we
do
bid
on
this.
We
invest
in
this
and
we've
come
to
realize
that
nothing
has
changed.
C
Everything
seems
to
be
going
smooth
sailing
from
when
we
purchased
this
and
from
the
past,
and
there
is
no
adjustments
or
changes.
Are
we
forced
to
stay
with
this?
You
know
this
fleet
management
program,
so
I
don't
know
who
can
answer
that
question.
For
me
it
may
be
a
silly
question.
I'm
just
mikey.
My
thing
is:
if
there's
nothing
changing
and
we're
still
investing
taxpayers
money
into
it,
why
keep
it
if
nothing?
But
you
know
if
we
see
changes
and
while
we're
saving
a
lot
more
money,
then
yeah
hey
it's
a
no-brainer.
G
It's
actually
a
reply
to
mr
councilman
bae
doom.
I
think.
A
You
know
going
out
for
bills,
councilman
must
get
it
was
put
on
by
mayor
bazi
and
he's
the
one
that
would
need
to
answer
that.
We
can't
assume
what
he
wanted
this
on
here.
For,
unfortunately,.
G
G
E
E
We've
been
talking,
I'm
talking
about
it.
Tom
bury
talked
about
it
few
years
back
and
liz
asias
and
everybody
on
the
old
council.
I
think
we
should
know
where
our
cars
are.
We
should
monitor
where
the
gas
goes.
That
is
a
great
idea
and
I
hope
we
approve
it
and
when
it
comes
the
contract
we
can
decide
as
a
council.
If
it
is
one
year
two
years,
then
we
can
decide
how
it
is
working
in
the
first
one
or
two
years.
C
Madam
chair,
I
just
want
to
be
clear
to
the
residents
to
mayor
bazi
and
you
know
to
both
council
members:
I'm
not
opposed
to
it.
All
I'm
saying
is
I:
if,
if
there
is
no
change
and
we're
not
seeing
anything
just
you
know,
we
want
money.
Sure,
maybe
our
you
know,
corporate
council
can
answer
that.
There's
no
calls
that
we're
locked
in.
C
That's
that's
all,
but
if
it's,
if
we're
going
to
save
money
and-
and
I
know
councilman
abdullah
said
that
he
foiled
it
and
and
there
were
things
that
were
going
on-
hey
I'm
all
about
saving.
You
know
taxpayers
money,
that's
I
want.
We
all
want
to
be
physically
responsible,
but
what
I
also
want
to
say
is.
E
Madam
chair,
the
councilman
baidun
I
have
seen
was
myself
one
of
the
employees
used
to
take
the
car
to
workplace
in
a
plymouth.
It
never
recorded
the
mileage.
That
is
one
person
and
other
people,
so
I
don't
want
to
mention
any
names,
but
I
think
this
is
a
great
idea
and
it
is
in
our
hand
to
put
the
clause
in
any
contract
that
it
is
probationary
for
one
year
or
two
years.
Then
we
can
decide
as
we
go.
Okay.
H
T
Thank
you,
madam
chair.
I
want
to
address
councilman
by
doing
so
for
this
year.
You
know
we
can
limit
the
amount
of
like
the
contract
or
what
two
years
three
years,
but
whatever
the
council
decides.
You
know
this
is
just
sending
it
out
for
rfp,
and
this
is
this
is
actually
cost
effective
to
for
for
many
things,
I've
actually
had
discussion
with
with
three
different
companies
management
companies
trying
to
see
what
options
that
they
have.
It's,
not
just
you
know,
tracking
vehicles
also
for
the
gas
usage,
also
for
maintenance.
T
So
whenever
a
vehicle
is
up
for
maintenance,
instead
of
like
say
for
oil
change,
just
give
you
something
as
simple
as
an
oil
change.
If
you
program
it,
you
say
you
want
to
oil
change
every
you
know,
5
000
miles
or
3
months
or
five
months.
Then
it
automatically
gives
you
a
ping
that
hey
this
vehicle's
up
for
maintenance,
so
you're.
Actually
it's
cost
effective
and
you
know
the
vehicles
will
last
a
lot
longer
if
you
maintain
them
properly.
So
this
is
something
very
cost
effective,
even
though
you
know
you
might
you're
going
to
pay.
T
You
know
money
for
the
software
or
for
track
for
for
the
maintenance
program
it
actually
gets
is
actually
going
to
have
more
life
cycle
on
the
particular
vehicle.
I've
seen
many
companies
use
this
this
tool.
You
know
for
the
best.
You
know
companies,
I've
worked
for,
you
know,
they've
used
them
and
it
is
very
cost
effective
for
them
because
they
do
maintain
the
vehicles
through
that
software.
That's.
C
Great
okay,
perfect,
I
mean
I
I
just
again:
I
I'm
not
opposed
to
it
and
I
would
love
to
see
this
move
forward
and
if
it's
saving
us
money,
I'm
all
for
it.
A
F
A
G
I
move
the
dearborn
high
city
council
received
note
and
file
of
the
2
2021
liquor,
license
review
and
direct
corporation
council
to
draft
a
letter
to
businesses
with
deficiencies.
If
the
department
that
cited
the
deficiency
has
not
already
done
so
request,
deficiencies
be
addressed
within
30
days
of
said
letter
as
outlined
in
9.
A
support.
F
No
just
a
statement
that
it
was
a
very
thorough
and
thank
you
clerk
lyncenia
for
preparing
this.
I
did
go
over
it.
I
remember
walter
percevich,
our
former
clerk
who's,
now
retired.
He
had
a
lot
of
discussion
and-
and
you
did
a
very
good
job,
so
thank
you.
E
Madam
chair
councilman,
we
have
item
eight
nine,
thirteen,
it's
included
in
this
one
I
just
have
to
ask
the
clerk:
did
bellagio
pay
his
taxes
and
he's
in
compliance?
Oh
I'm.
E
B
Would
you
like
to
do
that
absolutely
councilman
abduhak
when
it
comes
to
renewing
the
license?
The
only
items
or
the
items
that
have
to
be
current
on
on
tax
is
personal
property
tax,
as
well
as
the
water,
so
the
bellagio
is
good
on
their
personal
property
tax,
as
well
as
their
water.
What
they
are,
I
guess
in
arrears,
is
with
real
property
tax,
which
is
cited
in
the
ordinance
for
review,
but
currently
those
taxes
are
with
wayne
county
because
they're
only
payable
at
the
city
through
actually
this
year
march,
1st.
U
If
I
may,
madam
care,
just
briefly,
the
process
that
we
follow
with
respect
to
business
licenses
is
different
than
what
we
do
in
terms
of
the
liquor
license
review
the
process
at
this
point
would
be
to
do
as
the
body
is
has
moved
to
do,
and
then
we
will
follow
up
and
come
back
to
the
body
and
then,
if
there's
any
question
with
respect
to
these
other
issues,
they
could
be
addressed
separately
under
the
item.
As
alluded
to
your
to
you
by
you,
council,
chair
and
that's
all
yeah.
A
All
right
any
further
questions
in
regards
to
this:
all
those
in
favor
say:
aye
aye,
those
opposed
the
eyes
have
it.
Next,
we
have
treasure
hicks,
clayton
city
of
dearborn
heights,
cash
handling
procedures.
D
E
N
E
P
That
is
something
that's
not
part
of
that.
Certainly
we
can
amend
that.
I
do
have
a
big
escort
daily,
but
it
that
was
not
written
into
that
procedure.
E
Because,
in
august
the
person
who
take
the
money
to
the
bank
carries
big
sum
of
money
and
I
I
really
would
feel
very
safe
if
we
have
police
escort-
and
I
thank
him.
They
escorted
me
for
four
months,
but
I
like
it
to
be
in
the
resolution.
P
J
Miyaki,
that's
entered
into
anything
I'd
like
to
review
it
to
guarantee
that
a
police
officer
is
going
to
be
there.
It's
a
manpower
specific.
I
don't
know
anything
about
this
procedure
yet
so
I'm
not.
I
do
not
want
to
commit
the
police
to
anything
that
I
can't
be
assured
that
they're
going
to
be
able
to
perform.
So
until
that
happens,
I
I
would.
I
would
request
that
that
resolution
be
held
up
until
I
can
or
whatev
the
procedure,
and
so
I
can
actually
agree
to
it.
P
May
I
make
a
suggestion
then,
because
this
is
an
internal
document
for
the
treasurer's
office,
for
our
cash
handling
procedures,
which
is
needed.
It's
very
important
for
liability
reasons,
I'd
like
to
see
it
move
forward,
okay,
and
that
piece
was
the
escort
contingent
upon
your
review
and
discussion,
but
we
can
add
that
in
because
again
this
is
an
internal
document.
P
This
is
a
basically
a
receivable
file
is
approved
to
counsel
and
under
the
guidance
of
the
city
attorney
attorneys,
but
I
would
like
it
to
continue
because
I
don't
want
to
not
have
that
cash
handling
policy
in
place.
Just
this
one
piece,
we
can
add
it
in
again
internal
document
upon
your
review.
If
I.
U
Just
very
briefly,
yes,
the
I'm
very
concerned
about
is
speaking
about
internal
security
procedures
during
the
course
of
a
public
meeting.
If
they're
yeah,
we
can
a
little
more
cautious
about
what
how
we
do
things.
That
would
be
my
suggestion.
Thank
you.
A
C
F
A
D
Well,
mine's,
not
a
question
I
just
like
at
least
just
at
least
a
one
sentence.
You
know
maybe
from
the
dpw
director
or
maybe
from
the
police
department
or
ordinance
department,
I'm
starting
to
see
it,
maybe
because
of
the
business
that
I'm
in.
But
you
know
it's
happening
too
many
times
where
people
are
cut
down,
trees
on
fridays
or
saturdays
or
sundays,
because
they
know
they
at
least
city
hall
itself
is
not
open.
D
So
maybe
some
statement
about
that
that,
even
though
city
hall
is
not
open,
our
police
department
is
open
and
yes,
they
will
be
I'm
not
going
to
decide
that.
But
yes,
they
will
be
probably
prosecuted.
So
I
don't
know
who
in
the
city,
but
somebody
should
mention
that,
because
it's
happening
way
too
many
times
and
by
the
time
they
catch
them
on
a
monday,
it's
too
late
and-
and
you
know
maybe
some
statement
on
that-
please
council.
G
K
G
Just
to
piggyback
on
councilman
abdullah,
I've
noticed
that
happening
too,
and
I
have
called
the
police
department.
Non-Emergency
number
and
a
police
department
responds
pretty
quickly
to
it
and
they
have
stopped
throwing
some
homes
on
cherry
hill
that
were
doing
that
police
came
by
and
stopped
it.
So
I
I
believe
the
police
does
take
care,
pretty
good
care
of
it
on
the
weekends.
I
Q
Q
Q
J
We
try
to
supplement
each
other,
so
we're
going
to
do
it
here,
so
it's
kind
of
like
it's
the
weekend
now
and
the
police
department's
looking
into
the
ordnance
complaints
monday
through
friday,
the
ordinance
department
has
done
an
excellent
job.
Like
many
people
have
reminded
me,
there's
28,
you
know
28
000
homes.
I
think
in
the
city
I
think,
is
the
number
or
24
000..
We
there's
a
lot
of
people
that
either
don't
realize
it
or
try
to
circum
circumvent
the
process.
J
Dpd
our
ordinance
division
handles
it
monday.
Through
friday,
it
happens
in
the
evening
or
on
the
weekends
there's
many
times
we,
the
police
department,
can
only
document
what's
going
on
because
a
lot
of
times
we're
not
able
to
verify
certain
things
because
the
department
but
director
mcintyre,
has
always
been
absolutely
responsive.
J
Sometimes
I
wonder
if
he
ever
goes
home
or
stops
answering
his
phone.
So
between
the
two
of
us
we
try
to.
We
try
to
handle
those
with
spring
coming
up,
we're
going
to
see
a
lot
of
that
ramp
back
up,
because
people
will
start
their
yard
clean
up,
but
you
can
call
the
police
non-emergency
on
the
weekends
we
try
to
coordinate
with
director
mcintyre
and
his
squad,
and
hopefully
we
we're
we're
good
at
what
we
do.
We
believe
we
are.
J
We
can
get
we'll
keep
doing
enforcement,
we
don't
get
everybody,
we
try
to
stop
them
from
cutting
down
those
trees,
but
if
we
can't
get
to
him
for
the
tree
director,
mcintyre
always
does
his
follow-up
and
issues
violations
when
necessary.
C
Madam
chair
hell's
gonna
be
june
your
questions.
I
just
want
you
guys
to
know
that
I
actually
planted
a
tree
in
front
of
my
just
telling
this
to
councilman
abdullah
that
I
planted
a
tree
in
front
of
my
house,
and
I
spent
about
250
for
this
tree
to
see
that
you
know
director
salami
got
him
for
about
a
hundred
and
fifty
dollars.
I
think
he
really
went
out
there
bidded
for
him.
That's
a
great
deal
on
trees.
C
This
is
an
actually
unbelievable
deal.
It's
a
great
deal,
so
I
just
wanted
to
thank
him
and
congratulate
him
on
that.
H
A
A
I'm
sorry,
you
know
what
we
took
so
long.
I
jumped
ahead
there
yeah
and
I'm
going
to
ask
that
we
limit
this
to
questions
and
not
comments
anymore,
just
to
kind
of
shorten
this,
because
we
have
some
people
that
aren't
feeling
too
good.
We've
got
some
issues
privately
that
are
going
on.
F
G
I
move
the
debtor
height
city
council
approved
the
amendment
of
the
current
2020
lead
water
service
replacement
program
contract
with
the
additional
additional
41
homes.
This
would
increase
the
contract
value
by
350
000.
The
approved
budget
amount
in
a
2020
2021
lead
line
service
replacement
program,
account
number.
E
E
Just
want
to
know
how
we
proceeding
on
changing
everything
in
the
city
which
is
related
to
the
lead.
Do
we
have
a
plan
for
one
two,
three,
four
five
years.
V
V
So
once
we
get
to
the
budget
amount,
as
we
keep
doing
this,
we
keep
finding
more
our
contractors
doing
an
excellent
job.
We
I
haven't
been
in
contact
with
the
state
regarding
this.
If
this
continues
at
this
number,
you
know
obviously
we're
not
going
to
be
able
to
fund
it
at
this.
At
this
rate,
so
we
are
looking
at
some
some
opportunities
with
the
state.
V
That's
a
very
tight
market
there
of
trying
to
get
some
money
from
them
right
now.
Basically,
it's
low
interest
loans,
so
as
part
of
the
bigger
plan.
If
the
city
proceeds
with
the
meter
replacement
program
that
will
allow
us
to
get
into
every
home,
so
we
can
physically
identify
the
inventory
of
every
home
and
business
in
the
city
of
dearborn
heights.
At
that
point,
you
know,
then,
we'll
have
to
come
up
with
a
plan
b
and
how
we
fund
this
to
continue
to
replace
the
lead
service
lines
in
the
community.
C
V
So
the
a
lot
of
it's
based
on
when
the
home
was
built
so
50s
and
older
typically
are
not
an
issue.
It's
a
copper
line,
the
service
line,
but
there
are
some
other
factors
involved
right.
A
number
one
fixtures
is
a
big
one.
Faucets
faucets
before
1994
have
lead
in
them
so
piping
within
the
home.
If
you
have
galvanized
piping
right,
that's
another
contribute
to
that.
So
the
responsibility
of
the
water
supply
is
to
replace
the
water
service
if
it
is
lead
from
the
water
main
into
the
home
at
the
meter.
V
Everything
after
that
point
would
be
the
responsibility
of
the
homeowner.
So
we
do
have
filters
if
people
we
do
have
free
filters
to
give
out
that
the
the
health
department
has
dropped
off
that
we
can.
We
can
probably
find
a
way
to
get
to
them.
You
know,
but
other
than
that,
you
know
a
lot
of
it.
A
lot
of
this
is
inside
plumbing
and
fixtures
sink
faucets
and
bathroom
faucets.
W
F
A
F
Madam
chair
councilman
constant,
I
move
that
the
dearborn
heights
city
council
approved
the
contractor's
certificate
for
payment
number
four
for
seventy
eight
thousand,
fifty
seven
dollars
and
ten
cents
and
change
order,
number
two
for
an
increase
of
twenty
thousand
six
hundred
and
fifty
two
dollars
and
twenty
one
cents.
The
contract
increase,
reflected
in
change.
Order.
Number
two
is
for
removal
of
an
additional
tree,
improving
the
driveway
at
the
site,
placement
of
additional
storm
pipe
and
additional
inspection
time.
F
The
cost
of
this
work
is
taken
from
the
thirty
thousand
dollar
contingency
approved
in
the
special
assessment
district
financing
and
the
project
has
been
completed
under
the
approved
special
asset
assessment
district
amount
of
three
hundred
and
ten
thousand
one
hundred
ninety
six
dollars
and
fifty
cents
is
outlined
in
nine
f
and
then
sephora.
A
A
A
G
Today
I
received
an
email
and
they're
having
problems
with
the
flooding
of
the
clubhouse
there,
due
to
this
project
and
they're
requesting
city
council
to
hold
back
some
of
this
payment
money
until
the
contractor
is
able
to
figure
out
what's
going
on
and
to
fix
the
problem
that
was
caused
during
this
construction.
V
V
If
I
may
so,
we
met
out
there
on
site
today
with
the
chair,
the
chairperson
of
the
neighborhood
association
and,
and
I
guess
the
vice
chair
or
something
I
don't
know
his
exact
title.
We
had
met
with
them
two
weeks
ago,
as
a
group
myself
engineer
from
waitram
our
attorney,
their
attorney
and
their
two
representatives,
and
I
thought
we
had
an
understanding
and
then
mr
meyer
called
me
yesterday
wanting
some
further
clarification,
so
we
went
out
there
today
we
met
with
them.
We
identified
what
what
their
concerns
are.
V
V
Well,
so
it's
it's,
the
total.
The
total
contract
price
has
not
been
exceeded.
The
310
000
is
the
sad
and
the
sad
has
already
been
set
and
assessed
so
we're
not
going
over
any
any
type
of
budget
amount.
This
is
the
amount
that
the
council
approved,
and
this
is
this
is
where
we're
at
there
was
a
30
000
contingency
in
there
for
unforeseen
conditions
and
that's
where
it's
being
applied
to.
E
V
A
G
D
A
D
So
I
moved
that
the
debate
heights
city
council
approved
the
payment
of
aed
defibrilla.
Here,
that's
a
tough
one,
def
purchased
with
afg
grant
money.
The
purchases
was,
the
purchases
were
previously
approved
in
council
motions.
Two
two:
two:
zero
dash:
four
four:
three:
two:
zero
dash:
four,
four:
four
and
two:
zero
dash:
four
four:
five,
as
outlined
in
item
9g,.
D
F
A
G
G
101-223-706-000,
the
comptroller
salary
currently
is
budget
for
nine
thousand
five
hundred
and
twenty
five
dollars
and
the
administration
is
seeking
eighty
thousand
for
a
full-time
salary.
This
would
be
effective
as
of
march
first,
twenty
twenty
one
in
addition
approved
a
budget
amendment
of
one
thousand
five
hundred
and
forty
four
dollars,
and
twenty
eight
for
the
part-time
account
number.
Y
D
So
and
I'm
sorry,
I'm
not
raising
my
hands
from
participants
because
I'm
a
co-host.
I
can't
do
that.
Oh
okay,.
D
So
I've
got
no
problem
with
the
one
for
the
recreation
director
kim
constantly
we've
already
agreed
on
that
one,
but
in
regards
to
one
with
the
comptroller
my
personal
opinion,
with
many
other
directors
haven't
not
received
raises
recently
and
the
fact
that
we
got
a
budget
coming
up,
and
this
is
a
quite
a
drastic
increase
in
pay.
D
I
personally
would
like
to
suggest
that
we
table
that
until
budget
time,
and
then
we
decide
on
not
only
the
director
but
in
addition
to
that
any
of
the
other
directors
that
possibly
may
be
up
for
raises,
based
on
all
the
different
variables
that
we
use.
In
addition
to
that,
it's
based
on
a
percentage
of
the
salary
for
the
year.
It's
not
going
to
be
that
drastic
of
a
difference
between
now
and
the
next
budget
time.
A
Personally,
I
I
have
to
agree
with
councilman
abdullah.
We
are
so
close
to
our
new
budget
and
this
controller
is
fairly
new
and
we
had
another
controller
in
there
with
a
lot
of
experience
that
we
didn't
even
pay
this
much
so
I'd
like
to
know
more
about
the
qualifications
of
our
new
comptroller
before
I
even
consider
this,
I
think
also
that
we
should
pull
it
out
and
just
bring
it
up
at
the
next
budget.
Hearing.
T
Well,
actually,
I
want
to
make
a
comment.
We
actually
I
mean
you
had
that
discussion
with
some
with
with
the
council
members
with
the
situation
that
we
had
with
the
previous
comptroller.
You
know
it
was.
I
mean
myself
and
also
I'd
like
the
hr
director
elizabeth,
also
to
chime
in
when
she
can
we,
we
were
given
them
like
no
pretty
much
less
than
a
week
notice
that
the
previous
comptroller
was
leaving,
and
we
we
myself
and
the
hr
director
worked
around
the
clock.
T
You
know
I
mean
for
late
nights,
interviewing
different
candidates
and
we
could
not
find
anybody
and
the
current
comptroller,
mr
jawad.
He
was
kind
enough.
You
know
to
take
take
this
to
this
position
and
we've
we've
actually
interviewed
several
several
on
the
phone
controllers
that
wanted
this
job,
but
they
wanted
something
over
a
hundred
thousand
dollars.
T
So
I
think
with
the
comptroller
that
we
have
for
him
to
be
kind
enough.
You
know
to
come
in
and
help
us
out
in
the
middle
of
pretty
much.
You
know
we
have
a
budget
meeting
and
there
was
nothing
done
in
the
past
when
we
had
the
previous
comptroller
comes
in.
I
mean
you
know,
there's
a
lot
of
things
I
want
to
say,
but
I
can't
say
because
of
you
know
have
the
personnel
you
know
we
have
to
go
in
a
closed
session
for
that
one,
but
there
was
nothing
done
with
a
budget.
T
I
Well,
I
was
just
going
to
say:
I
know
that
he
is
on
a
call,
not
that
I
want
to
put
him
on
the
spot
nonetheless,
but
he
is
someone
that
has
a
graduate
level
degree,
and
you
know
he
could
speak
to
the
experience
that
he
does
have.
T
F
E
A
A
minute,
I'm
speaking,
please
I'd
like
to
make
a
suggestion
to
this.
There's
too
many
things,
bundled
in
here
and
unfortunately,
councilman
constant
has
to
abstain
from
voting
on
one
of
them.
It's
not
fair
that
he
is
not
included
in
the
other
votes
because
of
it.
So
I
think
we
need
to
separate
these
to
make
it
more
fair
to
councilman
constant,
to
be
able
to
vote
on
the
other
issues.
U
Yes,
it
is
possible,
obviously
to
separate
these
two,
the
exact
verbiage.
However,
I
would
not
necessarily
don't
have
the
guideline
motions
in
front
of
me,
so
perhaps
the
city
clerk
would
be
able
to
suggest
some
language
more
quickly
than
I
would
be
able
to.
A
You
know,
since
we
are
going
retroactive
on
director
constant,
I
why
don't
we
table
it
this
time
and
bring
it
back
in
two
weeks
separated
and
we
can
always
make
it
go
retroactive
backwards.
I
mean
that's
my
suggestion.
A
C
G
I
move
that
city
dearborn
height
city
council
refer
9h
back
to
the
administration,
to
separate
the
two
department
heads
and
as
outlined
in
my
statement
here.
Tenh.
Q
A
Okay,
at
this
time,
all
those
in
favor
say
aye
aye,
those
opposed
okay,
yeah,
yeah,
councilman
constant,
has
abstained
because
of
personal
reasons.
Okay
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
under
ordinances
and
resolutions.
This
is
mayor
bazi.
C
E
G
A
E
A
D
D
If
you
haven't
had
the
opportunity
to
go
through
that
store
and
see
the
work,
that's
done
there
to
help
people
with
different
people
with
disabilities
and
the
great
deals
they
have
on
clothing
and
many
other
materials
absolutely
take
the
opportunity
to
do
that.
It
really
is
very
heartwarming,
seeing
a
lot
of
those
people
with
employees
with
disabilities,
working
working,
their
heart
off
and
enjoying
it
and
and
again
there's
a
lot
of
great
bargains
on
clothing,
furniture
and
everything
else
so
make
sure
you
stop
by
and
at
least
say
hello
if
nothing
else.
A
C
G
Y
E
D
Just
want
to
say,
because
of
the
fact
that
my
daughter
did
her
wedding
at
this
beautiful
facility
and
knowing
the
owner
of
being
very
upstanding
citizen.
I
contacted
him
just
to
make
sure
he
was
aware
of
this.
D
I
I
found
it
very
odd
that
he
would
not
be
aware
of
the
taxes
and,
yes,
they
were
aware
of
the
taxes
that
were
due
and
when
they
went
in
to
pay
them
they
were
a
couple
days
late
and
then
it
was
found
out
that
it
was
transferred,
that's
what
they
wanted
to
wayne
county,
but
since
then,
since
I
told
them
they
have
since
and
and
you
could,
they
went
online
and
paid
both
of
them
this
evening
and
their
taxes
are
paid
and
up
to
date,
as
I'm
sure,
obviously,
the
treasurer,
slash,
clerks,
etc
will
have
to
verify
this.
D
A
Okay,
all
those
in
favor
say
aye
aye,
those
opposed
the
eyes
have
it.
Next,
we
are
moving
forward
to
comments
from
council
members,
limiting
all
the
comments
to
three
minutes
tonight,
so
councilman
paige
aka.
A
H
Well,
I
won't
take
all
that
minute
all
that
time.
First
of
all,
I'd
like
to
announce
that
I've
talked
to
the
mayor
bazi
and
we're
going
to
be
starting
up
the
city
beautiful
commission.
Again
anybody
interested
in
participating
as
as
members
of
the
city,
beautiful
commission
contact,
either
the
mayor's
office
or
myself
and
we'll
get
that
thing
going.
It's
a
pretty
cool
commission
to
be
on
ozana
for
several
years.
H
Also
we're
gonna
we're
gonna,
be
doing
our
annual
e-course
creek
rain
guard
maintenance
park
restoration
program
again
this
year,
the
date
to
be
determined,
probably
the
first
first
or
second
weekend
in
may
we're
waiting
to
get
verification
from
the
high
school
volunteers
that
see
if
their
their
weekends
are
open
and
hope
to
see
a
lot
of
people
for
that.
It's
always
a
good
time.
We're
looking
for
sponsors
and
volunteers.
H
For
that-
and
I
know
several
people
on
council,
including
our
chairwoman,
denise,
always
gets
involved
with
that
too,
and
I
noticed
I
had
a
question
from
one
of
the
residents
saying
that
the
the
voicemail
at
city
hall
is
still
having
the
old
hours
mayor.
Can
you
can
you
reiterate
our
the
new
hours
and
for
city
hall?
Please.
F
Chair,
thank
you,
and
it
was
mentioned
about
one
of
the
step
programs
that
are
available
for
developmentally
disabled
residents
and
their
families
their
services
to
enhance
potential.
They
are
located
in
dearborn
heights.
They
do
a
great
job.
F
I
attorney
that
I
practiced
with
had
a
son
who
had
some
difficulties
and
he
was
able
to
get
out
and
work
and
found
it
very
rewarding
working
with
the
services
to
enhance
potential.
They
they
do
do
a
great
job
and,
yes,
tom
will
be
having
the
cleaning
out
of
the
rain
gardens
coming
up
with
the
watershed
stewards,
and
we
can
always
use
help
and
volunteers.
F
We
read
out
the
rain
gardens
and
put
down
mulch
and
we
always
get
help
from
the
annapolis
honor
society
and
from
the
crestwood
honor
society
looking
forward
to
seeing
them
again
and
you
next,
when
we
do
it
in
may.
G
Thank
you
councilwoman
or
council
chair.
I've
got
three
items.
If
you
don't
mind,
please
the
the
first
one
is.
I
had
sent
you
an
email
pretty
much
about
a
month
ago
about
requesting
a
study
session
before
our
budget
season
come
for
act.
345.
A
G
Because
we
haven't
really
had
a
study
session
in
a
while,
and
it
would
behoove
us
to
have
have
a
right
study
session.
G
Secondly,
I
believe
this
would
be
directed
at
recreation,
director,
kim
constant
I've
received
many
phone
calls
and
requests
for
radio
control
car
tracks
in
one
of
our
parks.
This
is
a
big
ongoing
thing
for
children
and
and
their
parents,
really,
I
think,
it's
more
their
parents
than
the
kids.
They
love
these
rc
cars
and
they
really
have
no
place
to
run
these
cars
other
than
than
the
streets.
G
So
if
the
recreation
director
can
can
chime
in
on
this
I'd
appreciate
it.
Z
Hello,
I
don't
have
a
camera
right
now,
just
to
let
you
know,
but
so
you
can't
see
me,
but
that
is
definitely
something
I
will
check
in
too,
because
I've
heard
that
as
well.
G
Okay,
I
appreciate
it
and
if
you
hear
anything,
can
you
please
keep
in
contact
with
me?
I
will
and
then
my
last
item
is
I.
I
know
that
we
had
an
email
earlier
today
from
our
mayor
bill,
bazi
about
a
the
bond
approval
and
he
tried
to
get
it
on
the
on
the
agenda.
G
But
it
was
you
know
with
the
the
the
delay
at
our
treasurer's
office
being
shut
down.
They
couldn't
get
it
on
I'd
like
to
make
a
motion
to
be
able
to
include
that
today
for
a
vote
for
the
for
the
bond
council
for
the
mayor.
A
N
P
I
A
I
I
A
The
council
members,
we
need
a
majority
to
walk
the
sun
if,
for
some
reason
we
don't
have
a
majority,
we'd
have
to
put
it
on
the
next
meeting.
Agree:
okay,
oh
abdul
councilman
abdul
hawk
is
muted
hold
on
I'm.
C
A
C
A
A
G
Council
chair,
it's
very
easily
fixed
by
allowing
the
the
mayor
to
to
tell
you
what
it's
all
about.
Madame.
A
A
Counseling,
okay,
point
of
order
at
this
point.
This
makes
it
very
difficult
for
the
clerk's
office
a
lot
of
times.
They
have
to
listen
to
these
tapes
several
times
to
figure
out
what
we're
walking
on
and
it
can
be
confusing
and
in
the
past,
when
we've
walked
things
on
about
95
of
the
time
it
was
done
incorrectly
and
we've
had
to
bring
it
back
at
a
future
meeting
according
to
our
previous
clerk,
because
I
did
discuss
this
with
him
on
a
previous
manner,
not
this
one.
A
So
I'm
very
leery
in
regards
to
transparency
reasons
to
walk
stuff
on
like
this.
So
we
have
agendas.
We
have
due
dates
and
I'm
sure
this
isn't
something
that
just
came
up
overnight
and
if
it
did
it
there's
no
reason
it
shouldn't
be
able
to
wait.
I'm
not
sure
council,
I'm
sorry,
mayor
bassey.
Would
you
like
to
speak
in
regards
to
this.
T
Thank
you,
council
chair.
This
is
the
letter
from
flying.
Moran
yeah,
I,
as
stated
by
councilman
muscat.
T
The
bond
was
already
voted
on
by
by
the
council
a
few
you
know
a
few
months
back.
This
is
just
an
engagement
letter
for
for
plant
moraine
to
help
us
with
the
bond,
and
I
know
martin
is
online
as
well.
So
this
is
just
the
retentive
to
help
us
with
that
bond.
That's
all
it
is
because
we
have
a
deadline
of
april
2nd
that
we
have
to
actually
submit
this
to
bond
so
and
a
lot
of
that
it
was
it
was.
It
was
sent
to
all
the
council
members
by
the
way.
A
Hey
yeah,
like
I
said
my
concern,
is
transparency
reasons
walking
it
on.
I
asked
people.
I've
asked
several
council
members
do
not
walk
anything
on
anymore.
This
seems
to
be
a
habit
and
it's
it's
causing
issues,
but
I
will
abide
with
whatever
the
council
wants
to
do
at
this
time.
A
E
So
please
forgive
me
if
martin
from
plant
moran
is
with
us
on
this
meeting,
if
he
can
explain
what
this
email
is
about,
I
appreciate
it
for
me
for
the
resident
and
for
everybody.
A
I
got
a
concern
that
some
of
our
council
members
did
not
get
a
chance
to
read
the
email
in
regards
to
walking
the
sun
and
I'm
really
not
comfortable
with
it.
It
doesn't
matter
what
somebody
says
verbally
as
opposed
to
seeing
it
reading
it
and
researching
it
before
we
get
to
the
actual
meeting.
So.
C
C
This
is
something
that's
that
we
need
to
approve
by
april
2nd.
Why
are
we
now
just
hearing
of
that,
and
maybe
the
mayor
can
answer
that?
Maybe
plant
moran
martin
can
answer
that
or
maybe
you
know
I
know
our
corporate
council
has
had
his
hand
up
for
a
while.
Maybe
he
can
answer
that,
but
somebody
I
mean
I
swear.
I
do
not
know
what
I'm
voting
on.
U
Well,
unfortunately,
I
can't
answer
that
question.
So
if
you
need
to
redirect
the
question
to
martin,
that
might
be
a
good
idea
yeah.
I
do
have
something
to
add,
but.
A
Right
right
well,
like
I
said
my
concern,
is
councilman
bay.
Dune
doesn't
even
know
what
he's
voting
on,
and
I
mean
it's
not
fair
to
him,
and
you
know
we.
A
lot
of
these
things
are
left
to
the
last
minute.
This
seems
to
be
a
habit
over
time
and
a
lot
of
times
we
find
out
it
could
have
been
put
on
the
agenda
earlier.
U
All
I
was
going
to
suggest
is
to
first
of
all,
I
don't
know
that
there
was
both
the
motion
and
the
support
that
was
made
and,
secondly,
in
terms
of
the
underlying
motion,
it
could
make
reference
to
the
communication
apparently
council
members
had
received,
and
perhaps
the
communication
would
be
reset
to
councilman
de
dune
to
ensure
that
he
has
it,
and
those
are
my
suggestions.
Thank
you.
F
Constan
yeah,
I
believe-
and
this
is
for
gary
miyatki-
isn't
this
something
that
miller
canfield
the
bond
council?
Does
it's
for
nine
thousand
dollars?
It's
a
a
letter
from
plant
moran
saying
that
they
looked
at
the
bond
issue
and
it
financially
seems
to
add
upright.
Is
that
that's
the
extent
of
it.
U
I
believe
that
is
is
correct.
Again,
mr
elaine
probably
is
the
best
person
to
pose
that
question
to,
however,
but
it
is
not
something
that
miller
canfield.
Does
it's
something
that
plant
moran
would
need
to
do
to
certify
this
information
before
the
bond
is
issued.
L
A
E
D
C
A
C
Can
I
just
I
know
we
just
voted
on
that.
I
just
pulled
up
the
email
now,
so
I
I
do
see
the
email
and
I'm
sorry
I
just.
I
really
had
no
idea.
I
you
know
I
you
know.
I
know
mr
councilman
musket
put
this
on
and
you
know
okay.
J
Just
going
to
tell
you
in
the
interim
for
the
parks
and
rec
before
they
get
an
rc
park,
there's
an
excellent
one
on
heinz
drive
that
I
think
everybody
can
get
to
between.
I
think
it's
just
east
of
wilcox
lake.
It's
an
awesome
rc
park,
so
if
people
need
a
place
to
go
rather
than
the
street
until
parks
and
rec
can
figure,
something
out,
heinz
drive
has
a
great
rc
park.
Thank.
A
T
A
T
Okay,
well,
I
guess
I'll
talk
about
the
most
important
thing
about
the
letter
that
was
by
this
by
this
michigan
state
treasury's
office.
I
guess
yourself
you
were
here.
You
failed
to
address
this
letter
when
you
were
the
pro
tem,
and
so
anyway,
with
that
we
actually,
we
had
a
letter
submitted
by
the
state
corrective
action,
so
it's
a
nasty
letter
that
they
need
a
corrective
action
and
basically,
what
that's
going
to
do
is
gonna
hurt
us.
T
T
You
know
apologizing
for
my
predecessor
for
not
for
ignoring
this
letter
and
mr
miyaki
and
my
office
are
working
diligently
to
make
sure
that
we
we
address
their
concerns
that
corrective
action,
because
it
was
because
of
this
letters
being
ignored,
and
you
know
the
next
step
would
have
been
to
to
go
to
the
prosecutor's
office.
You
know
for
an
audit-
and
I
know
my
office
also
working
with
mr
miyaki
trying
to
get
a
procurement
procedure,
and
I
just
wanted
to
let
the
council
know,
because
you
know
this.
T
This
letter
is
public
right
now
it's
on
the
state
website,
and
I
want
to
also
commend
mr
jamal
for
he's
been
working
on
few
grants.
T
You
know
the
fema
grant
he's
closing
the
one
of
the
grants
that
was
was
supposed
to
be
submitted
few
years
ago,
he's
submitting
that
and
he's
working
on
a
grant
for
two
million
four
hundred
thirty
four
thousand
dollars
deadline
is
march
26th
and
there's
also
another
grant
that
he's
working
on
for
with
dpw
on
fema's
infrastructure
project,
and
I
want
to
commend
some
of
the
police
officers.
Actually,
we've
had.
You
know
we
recognized
sergeant,
stephens
and
officer
eunice.
T
You
know
they
had
combination
letters
in
addition
to
the
previous
one
we
read
earlier
and
there's
a
commendation
letter
also
for
officer
lloyd
and
with
the
amount
of
time
I
have
I'll
just
call
their
names,
there's
also
officer
ayub.
You
know
he
has
another
accommodation
letter.
So
I
want
to
commend
all
these
police
officers
for
doing
an
outstanding
job
here
in
the
last
few
weeks.
T
We
have
a
an
event
at
canfield
by
crestwood,
so
I
encourage
all
the
residents
to
come.
It's
free
free
of
charge
and
we
have
a
special
guest.
The
easter
bunny
will
be
there.
Thank
you,
madam
chair.
A
A
The
mayor
was
gone
when
it
did
come
to
light
under
when
you
became
mayor,
I
was
concerned
so
I
went
to
the
comptroller
and
he
said
that
he
thought
he
remembered
that
they
had
taken
care
of
it
with
a
letter
while
he
was
in
there,
so
that
was
never
brought
to
my
attention
because
that
was
possibly
taken
care
of
by
the
comptroller
bonza
when
he
was
in
there.
So
you
may
want
to
check
with
the
state
and
make
sure
I
don't
know.
A
Like
I
said
if
I
had
been
brought
to
my
attention,
I
would
have
been
happy
to
address
it
at
that
time.
We
had
a
lot
of
other
people
taking
care
of
stuff
and
I
was
never
aware
of
it
or
I
would
have
done
something
just
like
you,
because
I
know
you're
that
way
too.
C
Oh
okay,
I
I
think
I'm
I'm
a
little
lost
when
it
comes
to
where
we're
talking,
but
this
is
for
comments
from
council
members.
Correct
yes,
and
you
have
three
minutes.
Thank
you
so
much
I
just
want
this
is
going
to
be
directed
to
our
director
kim
constant.
I
just
want
her
to
know
that
I
went
over
to
the
rich
cadet
young
center.
Last
week,
saturday,
I
was
able
to
meet
with
some
of
the
residents
some
of
the
seniors
out
here.
C
Maybe
we
can
come
up
with
a
way
of
fixing
the
gym
floor
at
the
richard
a
young
center.
I
know
some
of
the
seniors
that
were
out
there
playing.
I
think
it's
called
pickleball,
I'm
not
sure
what
what's
that
pickle
ball?
Yes,
pickleball,
yes,
and
they
were
complaining
about
the
floor.
I
wanted
to
see,
if
maybe
we
can
find
a
way
of
fixing
up
that
floor
at
the
richard.
A
young
center
I
actually
went
through
the
entire
facility,
looks
like
a
lot
of
the
things
out.
There
are
outdated.
C
I
know
that
she's
kind
of
going
in
right
now
making
some
of
the
repairs,
we're
upgrading
the
kitchen
and
then
one
of
the
employees.
There
said
that
they
had
an
issue
while
they
were
leaving
the
richard
a
young
center
at
about
10
30.
There
was
no
lighting.
There
was
two
men
who
may
have
been
under
the
influence
of
alcohol
were
yanking
on
the
door.
She
said
there
was
no
lights
outside.
She
called
the
emergency
hotline
or
she
called
9-1-1
officers
came
out.
C
Thank
you
to
chief
mike
myers
on
that
one
and
helped
escort
the
custodian
at
the
richard
young
center,
but
maybe
if
we
can
also
figure
out
how
to
get
better,
proper
lighting
out
there.
I
know
she's.
Just
you
know:
she's
got
all
hands
on
deck
right
now
and
she's
extremely
busy,
but
I
think
you
know
employees
safeties
is
extremely
important.
C
So
if
we
can
really
push
for
that
and
then
I
also
wanted
to
thank
director
mcintyre
director
salami
I've
reached
out
to
both
of
them
in
the
past
two
weeks
anything
I've
reached
out
to
them
regarding
residence
issues,
they've
been
on
top
of
it.
I
really
want
to
thank
them
in
their
department
and
the
last
thing
that
I
have-
and
I
know
we've
you
know
this
was
voted
on-
probably
not
much
we
can
do,
but
I
have
to.
C
As
a
council
member,
I
promised
the
residents
that
I
would
reach
out
my
concerns
about
these
starbucks
and
what's
happening
there.
A
lot
of
the
residents
are
really
really
complaining.
They
live
in
that
area.
You
know,
I
know
that
the
kennel
elementary
school
is
going
to
be
in
session
you're,
going
to
have
a
lot
of
vehicle
a
lot
of
traffic
there
right
when
people
are
coming
and
leaving
going
to
school
and
leaving
school
a
lot
of
the
residents
are
really
really
concerned.
C
A
You
I
think
mayor
bassey
has
an
response
to
that.
Go
ahead.
T
Okay,
thank
you.
Thank
you,
councilman.
By
doing
that,
we
actually
had
a
meeting
here
with.
Thank
you.
Councilman
abdullah,
council,
pro
tem
abdullah.
He
actually
arranged
a
meeting
to
meet
with
the
owner
of
that
establishment,
and
that
person
is
was
very,
very
cooperative
and
I
also
met
with
our
director
and
our
engineer
to
come
up
with
the
solution.
We
do
have
a
proposal.
We're
gonna,
have
our
engineer
actually
put
a
proposal
together
and
it
it
sounds
like
it's.
It's
a
great
idea
and
the
businesses
around
ford
road
would
like
it.
C
C
T
A
You
yeah,
we
have
councilman
abdel
go
ahead.
Please.
A
E
E
E
I
would
appreciate
it
if
we
accommodate
each
other
in
a
civilized
manner
manner,
because
I
want
to
keep
my
friendship
with
all
of
you,
but
I
want
the
residents
to
hear
the
good
news
and
the
bad
news
if
there
is
even
if
we
exceeded
three
minutes,
I
have
couple
items
to
say
I
thank
you
bill
our
mayor
for
hiring
hassan
jamal.
E
E
E
E
W
Thank
you.
I
just
wanted
to
make
a
few
announcements,
starting
by
thinking
publicly
the
efforts
that
the
mayor's
office
has
done
with
this
past
two
weeks
with
the
distribution
of
the
water
filters.
We
have
distributed
approximately
700
water
filters
for
the
past
two
weeks.
It
was
a
non-stop
job
for
anyone
that
was
walking
into
the
city.
There
was
a
constant
line
this
past
two
weeks
in
order
for
us
to
to
help
our
community
and
provide
those
water
filters,
which
is
the
reason
we
ran
out
of
them
at
the
moment.
W
So
a
special
thank
you
to
lee
gavin
and
stephanie
shocky,
who
were
the
ones
leading
that
effort
this
past
two
weeks.
I
also
wanted
to
provide
a
quick
update
on
the
previous
grants
that
we
had
received
from
fema,
including
pdm
16,
as
well
as
the
hmgp
4195,
which
were
also
about
the
flood
zone
areas
and
the
purchasing
of
those
homes.
Unfortunately,
we
also
found
that
a
lot
of
the
reporting
that
we
had
to
do
for
those
was
done.
W
Inaccurately
in
the
past
and
once
again
mr
hassan
jamel
has
stepped
up
to
the
plate
and
is
currently
updating
all
of
those
forms
and
submitting
them
in
the
correct
format
for
them
and
moving
forward
with
closing
those
grants
that
we
had
received
back
in
2016
and
2018..
W
P
Oh
hello,
hello,
good
evening.
I
want
to
unmute
myself.
I
want
to
start
by
saying
I
just
have
three
quick
points.
P
The
treasurer's
office
is
reopening
tomorrow
on
wednesday
at
8
a.m:
regular
office
hours,
8
a.m,
to
noon
and
closed
from
noon,
to
1
for
cleaning
and
sanitizing
and
then
from
1
to
5
p.m,
and
I
want
to
express
my
most
sincere
appreciation
and
gratitude
to
everyone,
including
mayor
fazi,
hr,
director,
sabota
perry,
the
staff
of
the
treasurer's
office,
the
employees
of
city
hall
and,
of
course,
to
our
residents
for
their
outpouring
support
during
this
time.
P
You're.
I
just
I
can't
thank
you
enough.
I
thank
you.
I
also
wanted
to
address
the
letter
that
was
mentioned
earlier
regarding
the
audit
material
deficiencies.
P
When
that
was
brought
to
my
attention,
I
wanted
to
reassure
city
council
and
have
sent
emails,
and
you
will
get
updates
that
we
are
actively
not
only
reviewing
but
responding
and
developing
an
action
plan,
and
I
want
to
thank
our
comptroller
director
jawad,
as
well
as
director
jamal
and
plant
moran
and
the
mayor
for
the
efforts
as
we
bring
this
and
resolve
these
issues.
So
I
think
this
is
very,
very
important.
P
Some
of
these
issues
have
been
ongoing
for
years,
including
the
interfund
transfers,
which
does
dramatically
impact
our
cash
flow,
which
was
something
that
I
noticed
in
january
and
december
and
addressed
so
again.
You
will
get
updates
and
we
are
addressing
those
issues.
The
last
thing
I
have
for
you
is
there's
going
to
be
a
town
hall
meeting
on
thursday
april
8th
it's
going
to
be
a
live
stream
on
facebook,
social
media,
senator
alexander,
is
hoping
hosting
it.
P
The
guest
speaker
is
wayne
county,
treasurer,
eric
sabri
and
the
presentation
is
at
home
foreclosure
prevention,
and
if
you
need
assistance
with
your
property
taxes
and
tax
payment
options,
we
also
will
include
wraparound
services
and
features,
including
wayne,
metro
and
salvation
army
and
other
resources,
and
thank
you
to
our
co-hosts,
which
includes
the
surrounding
communities,
treasurers
of
inkster
garden,
city,
redford
and
dearborn
heights,
and
I'm
sorry.
I
do
have
one
more
thing.
I
would
like
to
request
a
study
session
for
public
input,
because
the
treasurer's
office
would
like
to
move
forward.
P
A
proposal
go
out
for
an
rfp
to
take
a
look
at
our
our
online
payment
platform,
we're
looking
to
simplify
it,
make
it
more
user-friendly
and
efficient
for
our
residents,
and
we
would
love
to
schedule
schedule
that
study
session
before
finalizing
an
rfp
to
go
out
for
requests
and
bid
before
the
council.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
A
Can
the
clerk's
office
please
add
that
to
the
list
for
study
sessions?
Okay,
next!
Yes,
we
can
do
that.
Okay,
just
add
it
to
the.
I
know
it's
getting
long,
but
all
right
next,
we
will
open
it
up
to
public
announcements
within
our
community,
such
as
the
library
and
neighborhood
groups.
You
have
also
three
minutes
raise
your
hand,
and
I
will
call
on
you
this
time.
I
don't
see
any
next
one.
A
N
All
right
good,
I
had
a
notice
on
the
computer
and
it's
been
acting
up.
I
just
want
to
announce
that
this
thursday,
the
25th
of
march,
we
will
have
a
real
live
in-person
meeting
of
the
south
durban
heights,
civic
association
between
seven
and
nine
at
south
beach
daily.
The
address
is
three
three
three
five:
it's
the
office
there
for
the
westwood
community
school
district,
and
we
do
have
two
spell
seven
and
nine
again,
and
it
is
this
thursday.
N
Our
main
speaker
will
be
mayor,
bill
bazzy
and
we
will
also
have
our
vice
president.
Valentine
peppers
discuss
some
details
from
when
he
was
a
911
operator
in.
N
X
X
We
donated
a
close
to
200
bags
of
books
with
in
conjunction
with
rotary
to
a
daily
school
and
to
bedford
school,
so
those
are
going
to
be
distributed
over
the
next
few
days
and
you'll
see
some
pictures
online
about
that.
I
wanted
to
thank
a
dearborn
heights,
rotary,
leslie
simmons
at
daily
school
and
carrie
macchio
at
bedford
for
her
efforts
and
everyone
else
who
cooperated
and
that's
it
thanks
for
your
time
and
see
you
at
the
library.
R
So
before
you
go
to
nancy's
meeting,
come
get
a
cupcake
or
two
and
then
go
see
nancy.
I
heard
me
once
again
it's
from
five
o'clock
until
seven
o'clock.
It's
the
calm
voice
in
the
dark
nights
your
dispatchers
come
and
meet
them.
Ask
them
all
the
questions
you
want.
Thank.
A
W
AA
W
A
AA
AA
Have
your
kids
pick
up
your
trash,
we're
spending
too
many
manpower
hours,
picking
up
trash,
it's
putting
a
a
hamper
on
getting
other
things
done,
we'll
clean
up
the
park
and
the
next
day
look
like.
We
have
even
touched
it
after.
We
spend
a
whole
a
whole
day
there.
AA
AA
I'm
aware
that
there
are
a
few
lights
out
at
the
youngster
parking
lot,
I'm
in
the
process
of
getting
led
lights
and
we
are
going
to
rewire
those
and
put
led
lights
in
to
get
rid
of
the
high
pressure
sodium
and
to
make
it
brighter.
I
just
want
to
let
you
know
that
it
is
in
the
works
and
we
are
working
on
it.
Thank
you.
A
K
I
have
a
very
interesting
meeting
here.
K
K
K
K
Look
around
plymouth.
City
hall
is
over
100
years
old
and
it's
doing
fine,
it's
not
the
age.
It's
how
well
it's
been
maintained
and
my
last
question
of
the
night.
I
don't
know
who's
going
to
answer
this
or
if
it
has
been
answered-
and
I
missed
it,
but
I'd
like
to
know
where
mayor
plecos
car
is
has
that
been
accounted
for.
J
Car
is
being
repurposed
and
it's
actually
going
to
be
used
as
the
reserve
programs
police
vehicles.
There
are
you
operating
crown,
vics
from
2,
000
and
probably
six,
so
that
vehicle
is
already
being
retrofitted
to
fit
the
reserve
program.
Okay,
I
think
it's
a
great
it's
a
great
use
of
that
vehicle.
Thank.
A
K
K
K
T
So
for
that
for
the
grant
writer,
okay,
so
the
seller
that
was
actually
approved
by
council,
we
we
had,
we
posted
it.
We
on
on
the
city
website
for
the
position,
obviously,
and
we
only
had
two
two
applicants,
because
it's
a
six
month
assignment,
it's
not
a
permanent
position
and
since
the
grant
writer
who's
mr
jamal
on,
you
know
he's
on
right
now.
Just
recently
he
got
us
a
2.4
million
dollar
grant.
So
what.
T
For
the
fema
grant
for
the
the
fema,
the
homes
that
have
been
flooded
near
the
e-course
creek.
A
K
A
Right
at
this
point,
I
have
hassan
jamal
good
to
see
you,
my
dear
you're,
back.
Y
K
O
Y
Just
quick
update,
thank
you,
mayor
bazi.
Thank
you,
madame
chair,
thank
you,
everybody
who
knows
me
and
who
will
know
me
in
the
future.
My
name
is
hassan
jamal
and
I
am
the
grant
and
budget
compliance
director
for
city
of
the
united
for
at
least
for
now.
Six
months.
Y
We
had
two
previous
grant
from
fema
to
mitigate
the
flood
issues
from
the
e
course
creek,
the
first
grant
for
15
homes,
which
was
initiated
back
in
march
15
2016..
Y
That
particular
grant
is
about
currently
about
98
done.
We
still
have
some
issues
to
close
on
some
documentation
which,
which
is
missing.
The
state
michigan
state
police
required
that
to
close
the
grant,
so
I'm
working
with
them
waiting
on
the
final
spreadsheet.
That
will
be
done.
Probably
within
a
few
days.
Mostly
in
a
week,
I
try
to
find
out
where
the
documents
are
in
submitting,
so
we
can
close
that
one.
Y
The
second
fema
grant,
which
was
initiated
back
in
2016
march,
21st
2016.,
that
was
for
12
homes
that
grant
currently
is
on
the
still
on
the.
When
I
got
on
march
8,
I
discovered
that
that
grant
is
still
on
the
infant
steps.
That
grant
is
only
very
maybe
one
or
two
percent
done.
There's
only
five
of
those
homes
been
appraised
approved
by
the
state,
no
offers
being
done
on
them
to
any
homeowners,
the
other
seven
homes.
Y
Y
A
Y
Have
a
concern
from
a
resident
about
this,
the
resident
who
likes
to
know-
and
I
appreciate
you.
A
Y
Y
Very,
very,
very
good,
amazon
chair,
so
that
grant
is
being
worked
on
digitally
right.
Now
we
have.
We
have
the
help
from
every
staff
every
a
person
in
the
city
involved.
Like
the
corporation
council,
we
have
a
you,
know,
sub
cooperation,
council
or
assistant
cooperation
council,
making
the
offer
for
those
five
rooms
recently
and
he's
working
diligently,
and
we
are
moving
with
with
completing
that
grant
by
august
30
of
this
year
you
know
to
save
the
1.1
million
dollars.
The
the
most
important
thing
is
that
I
just
apply
today.
Y
Y
That
will
be
probably
most
likely,
as
I
being
notified,
will
be
looked
at
and
approved
in
june
and
come
in
june.
We'll
have
to
follow
up
on
it,
but
the
notice
of
intent
is
already
being
put
forward.
Y
Thanks
for
everybody,
we
are
in
the
plans
we
are
in
the
plan
of
the
state
they
like
to
work
with
us.
They
like
to
help
us
and
there's
another
grant,
maybe
possible
myself,
the
mayor's
office,
the
city
engineer
and
mr
john
cena.
We
are
digitally
working
as
much
as
we
can
to
secure
if
it's
possible
to
secure,
maybe
a
project
that
dpw
can
certify
to
be
qualified.
We
don't
know
yet,
but
mr
cerny
is
doing
whatever
possibly
can
to
to
really
proceed
with
that.
Y
And
how
we
can
find
them,
I
am
only
from
the
point
of
view
as
processing
I'm
not
interfering
with
the
departmental.
You
know
functions,
that's
his
department,
every
department.
I
only
help
with
proceeding.
You
know
with
the
grant
and
the
compliance
of
the
grant
they
very
much
they.
You
know
also,
I
like
to
say
that
I
intercepted
that
letter
from
from
the
state
treasury
department
and
forwarded
to
the
mayor
for
action,
the
the
controller
office,
the
legal
department
are
taking
care
of
that
at
this
time.
Y
A
L
L
I
just
hope
that
you
will
make
it
safe
for
us
and
the
audience
as
it
is
now
we
are
sitting
on
top
of
each
other,
and
the
error
in
that
room
is
terrible.
So
I'm
just
asking
keep
keep
the
people
that
like
to
come
to
the
meeting
in
person,
keep
them
in
mind
regarding
the
safeguards
and
the
quality
of
air
and
covet
and
everything
else,
and
thank
you
very
much.
L
A
S
David
bruno
dale
street
wayne
county
did
were
in
heights,
lived
here,
29
years
in
this
house
right
close
to
telegraph
and
it's
always
been
good.
You
know,
you've
got
problems
with
traffic
and
all
the
time
you
know
and-
and
I
I
understand
I'm
close
to
telegraph
recently-
a
business
has
opened
up
behind
me.
It
has
gotten
exceedingly
popular.
S
If
this
signs
out
there
now
say
no
parking,
9
pm
until
6
a.m,
or
something
like
that
that
has
to
do
with
the
old
desoto's
bar
that
was
here
just
before
I
moved
in,
but
I
would
like
that
you
know
how
do
we
get
that
to?
S
Could
we
get
that
so
that
it's
no
parking,
because
I
and
my
neighbors
also
it's
it's
not
even
comfortable
to
live
in
our
own
house
anymore,
just
to
be
on
the
side
of
the
house,
you
feel
like
people
are
watching
you
they're,
throwing
their
garbage
on
your
lawn
or
the
street
is
full
of
grease
from
the
from
the
restaurant
because
they
just
hose
their
grease
from
the
barbecue
out
into
the
street.
S
So
it's
the
street
looks
really
disgusting,
so
I've
got
just
a
litany
of
problems
and
I'd
love
to
talk
to
somebody
about
it.
Don't
know
what
to
do
about
it.
Okay,.
A
Q
Evening,
can
you
hear
me.
N
Q
Q
It's
opened
as
a
carryout,
but
the
previous
business
was
a
pizza
place
and
certainly
didn't
have
the
kind
of
traffic
that
this
burger
place
is
getting.
So
I
have
a
follow-up
visit
with
him.
This
friday,
I've
already
been
in
communication
with
the
traffic
division.
Q
Sergeant
daughter
made
him
aware
of
it
and
we're
gonna
try
to
come
up
with
a
plan.
I've
also
been
spoke
with
john
summy,
the
dpw
director.
Regarding
the
greece.
I
gave
the
owner
a
punchlist
of
items
that
he
needs
to
correct
and
come
up
with
a
plan,
and
I
plan
to
meet
with
him
again
this
friday
to
see
where
he's
at
with
those
things,
and
then
we
can
proceed
further.
I
live
in
that
neighborhood
too,
so
I
I
see
the
the
traffic
I
see.
Q
The
issues
that
they're
experiencing
the
owner
is
definitely
very
receptive
and
wants
to
correct
these
things.
So
I
I'm
expecting
a
remedy
to
this
pretty
quickly.
J
AB
AB
Thank
you,
madam
chair,
just
real
quick.
I
just
wanted
to
thank
mo
bay
june
because
I
did
have
a
chance
to
meet
him
at
the
at
the
rec
center
and
we
talked
about
baseball
field
being
upgraded
as
I've
been
a
coach
with
the
d7
dads
club
for
22
years.
So
much
appreciated
yes,
hi
bob
and
bob
a
neighbor
and
friend
for
over
25
years.
AB
But
my
my
problem
is:
I
live
on
the
last
block
of
party
avenue
again.
My
name
is
steve:
berry,
pardee
avenue,
dearborn
heights
wayne
county,
the
last
two
blocks,
there's
only
two
homes
on
one
side
and
on
the
other
side,
an
apartment.
Building
that
street
is
a
is
a
snow
emergency
route.
AB
It's
a
school
route,
many
buses
come
through
there.
Many
cars
make
many
people
taking
their
kids
to
school.
If
somebody
parks
on
one
side
of
the
street,
it
turns
the
the
street
into
a
two-lane
highway.
If
somebody
parks
on
both
sides
of
the
street,
it's
one
lane
and
bob
you
can.
You
can
certainly
confirm
this.
It's
a
nightmare
and
everybody's.
V
AB
My
my
proposition
is:
this
is
not
for
my
own
personal
use,
as
I
have
two
driveways
and
I
have
sufficient
parking
for
me.
My
family
and
I
is
is
possibly
to
limit
one
side
of
the
street
to
no
parking.
I
don't
really.
AB
AB
That's
that's
the
basis
of
of
my
comment.
I
I
know
I'm
talking
to
the
right
people
that
can
make
things
happen
again.
It's
not
from
my
personal
gain.
I
and
you
know
the
other
issue.
Is
they
don't
move
on
trash
day
and
when
the
street
cleaners
are
coming
by?
AB
F
We
don't
want
anyone
parking
on
that
side
of
the
street
going
to
and
coming
from
the
apartments,
because
that'll
obstruct
that's
the
first
block
off
of
van
bourne
on
party
and
there's
some
nice
homes,
mr
berry's
home
and
another
gentleman's
home
they've
been
there
for
a
long
time
well
kept,
and
we
want
to
keep
that
thoroughfare
open
during
the
winter,
especially
that
road
was
broken
up
and
just
recently
repaved.
