C
E
Past
week,
our
city
went
through
a
difficult
time
and
I
would
ask
that
we
have
a
moment
of
silence
for
those
who
lost
their
lives
in
our
horrific,
very
heinous
heinous
crime,
and
also
for
our
first
responders,
who
had
to
deal
with
that
horrendous
crime
I'm
sure
that
they
were
shaken
up
as
bad
as
anyone
could
possibly
offend.
Yeah.
F
G
A
A
A
I
Go
I
just
wanted
to
consummate
must
get
brought
up
at
the
last
meeting
about
the
sewer
cleaning
and
we
found
out
that
the
City
of
Canton
has
something
called
a
grease
inspector
and
we
are
thinking
of
utilizing
something
like
that.
So
I'm
going
to
have
mr.
Miyagi
drop
in
ordnance,
that's
going
to
be
restrictive
as
it
relates
to
excessive
grease
accumulation
for
commercial
cooking,
salas,
restaurants,
deli
convenience
stores,
institution
cooking,
kitchen
schools,
elderly
care
facilities,
so
we're
going
to
move
on
there.
But
those
good
suggestion,
codes
and.
I
A
A
J
I
The
Canton
ordinance
says
it's
punishable
for
violation
of
the
ordinance
of
a
fine
of
two
hundred
fifty
dollars
for
each
subsequent
violation
of
this
ordinance.
The
responsible
person
or
entity
shall
pay
a
fine
of
not
less
than
five
hundred
dollars.
I
will
leave
that
up
to
corporation
counsel,
who
will
draft
it
in
regards
to
dollar
month,
but
that's
what
the
Canton
one
is.

To

and
grant
permission
to

their

That
the
council
declare
that
it
is
unlawful
pursuant
pursuant
pursuant
to
section
22
through
34
of
the
city
code
for
any
mobile
or
transitory
food
truck
to
operate
any
part
of
the
city
where
the
conduct
of
such
a
business
will
constitute
a
public
nuisance
by
reason
of
the
list
of
traffic
conditions
and
the
character
of
the
city's
neighborhoods.
Until
such
time
as
the
city
has
an
adequate
ordinance
in
place
to
regulate
such
mobile
or
compensatory.
C
A
F
You
mr.
chairman
I
move
that
council
approve
the
assessment
contract
city
of
different
heights
between
the
city
and
Anthony
foucault,
assessing
consultant
inc
and
authorized
the
mayor
mayor,
pleco
and
city
clerk
pressure
ebbets
to
execute
on
the
contract
on
behalf
of
the
city
as
outlined
in
nine,
see
some.
H
Have
a
question
for
console:
Oh
miyake:
oh
actually,
I!
Guess
that's
for
the
mayor!
Okay,
it's
a
last
paragraph
on
page
one.
It
says
that
originally
they
were
working
for
us
for
150
thousand
dollars
a
year
payable
and
12
equal
installments,
and
the
next
paragraph
goes
on
to
say
now
that
the
full-time
person
that
we
had
working
in
the
city-
it's
gone.
It's
going
to
be
all
mr.
Foucault
and
he's
going
to
have
two
people
in
the
assessor's
office
during
normal
City
Hall
business
hours,
but
his
cost
has
gone
up
a
hundred
thousand
dollars.
H
I
Yeah,
it
also
included
the
French
benefits
and
then
the
stature
of
the
type
of
personnel
that
he
has
in
the
office,
so
yeah
there's
also
vehicle
use,
so
he's
taking
care
of
the
vehicles.
We're
not
going
to
come
back
in
here
and
ask
for
vehicles.
They're
gonna
drive
vehicle.
So
it's
a
complete
package.
Sure.
M
Also,
this
was
what
was
agreed
to
in
general,
with
the
original
that
there
was
going
to
be
an
extension
that
was
going
to
take
place.
It's
just.
The
time
frame
has
been
moved
up
because
the
full-time
employee
left
and
technically
we're
supposed
to
be
providing
that
full-time
employee
and
when
I
discussed
this
with
mr.
Foucault
I
said
well,
did
you
just
make
it
a
start
date
for
October
the
first
instead
of
going
retroactively,
and
he
is
agreeable
to
doing
that.
I
said
just
make
it
cleaner,
so
I
think
he's
being
very
reasonable
in
this
situation.
N
Just
want
to
get
a
clarification
as
far
as
who's
handling
the
additional
administrative
costs.
So
beyond
the
three
people,
beyond
the
assessor
and
the
two
additional
people,
is
there
any
additional
administrative
people
that
will
be
in
assessor's
office
handling
phone
calls
etc
and
who's
paying?
For
that
he.
M
N
I
Know
he
they're
getting
more
than
we
were,
providing
simply
because
most
of
the
staff
in
there
has
to
be
at
a
particular
level,
and
so
we're
going
to
be
we're.
Gonna
have
more
in
a
higher
professionalism
amongst
the
staff
but
I
more
than
one
occasion,
I've
seen
poor
people
plus
him
back
there,
and
he
in
he
said
that's
what
he
needs
he's
going
to
sign
the
roll
and
that's
what
we
need
cuz
mr.
chair,
I've,.

City

concur
with
director

recommend
that
a
I,
a
document,
a

contractors,
contract
between
the
city
and
Brock
and
associates,
be
approved
with
authorization
being
granted
by
the

with
the

On

of
I'm
getting
a

here,
the
same

M

F
So
I
read
through
the
the
agreement,
the
document
a
few
times
and
im
looking
at
the
table
contents
again
on
page
two,
the
warranty
on
the
workmanship
as
far
as
I
would
imagine,
the
material
would
fall
on
the
the
caught,
the
contractor,
but
the
provider,
but
the
quality
of
the
work.
The
warranty
is
I,
don't
see
that
covered
in
here
did
I
miss
that
an
imagined
it
would
be
online.

the

we've
been
using
since
the
facility
was
built
again,
like
I
said
before,
and
these
heating
cooling
issues
I
don't
have
much
knowledge
of
them,
so
we
kind
of
take
their
word.
They've
been
dependable
over
the
years
and
kind
of
limited.
You
know
with
my
knowledge
of
that
system,
so
system
comes
in
with
quotes
and
in
we
run
it
by
our
custodian.
Who
is
what
is
most
qualified
out
there
and
you
know
they're,
usually
pretty
good.
So
that's
why
we
use
system.
Okay,.

item
on
the
agenda
from
public

administrator

the

for
the

has
increased
eight

per

on
residential
to
$35
commercial
to
twenty-six

and
debris
Holloway
to

to
forty

as
outlined
in

Second,

R
R
N
R
R
R
R
All
of
the
properties
have
been
sold,
all
of
the
homes
were
sold
and
many
times
the
amount
of
the
investment
exceeded.
What
and
I
realize
councilman
you're
in
the
real
estate
and
there's
the
value
of
the
property,
but
it
was
a
Neighborhood
Stabilization
program
that
was
investment
to
stabilize
the
home
the
neighborhood
and
get
responsible
homeowners
in
those
homes.
So
yes
with
those
federal
dollars
that
subsidize
those
properties
on
many
occasions
the
amount
of
rehab
exceeded
what
the
home
was
eventually
sold
for.
R
I
I
might
mr.
chairman
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
Chris
everyone,
let's
to
complete,
get
done
with
nsp?
We
have
a
deadline.
As
of
nine
thirty
through
Chris
and
the
director
debt
retired
run
Eamon
we've
gotten
an
agreement
that
if
we
demo
this,
then
it's
done
and
it's
over
with
if
it's
still
around
after
September
30th
under
the
provisions
of
the
agreement,
I'll
be
coming
back
here
asking
for
about
a
hundred
and
fifty
thousand
dollars
out
of
the
general
fund,
so
I
don't
want
to
spend
our
money
for
this
particular
proposal
am
I
correct.
Yes,.
R
Mista
has
requested
that
we
would
reimburse,
and
the
nsp
correct
mayor
is
in
the
process
of
clothes
out
and
we're
pretty
much
in
the
twelfth
hour
of
that
on
that
program
is
being
closed
out
by
HUD
and
mishta
was
our
grant,
or
so
we
want
to
close
this
out.
Mishta
has
agreed
with
us
and
with
your
approval,
we
can
proceed
with
the
demo
and
we
proceed
and
there
will
be
no
further
requests.
We
keep
the
lot
as
the
city's
a
correct.
R
We
we
have
the
lot
already
the
property
technically,
but
under
the
agreement
it
will
be,
it
has
to
be
disposed
of
to
either
someone
paying
fair
market
value
or
non
profit.
In
this
case,
the
property
is
been
agreed
by
mishta
to
be
turned
over
to
the
habitat
for
humanity,
for
redevelopment
as
a
non-profit,
okay,.

not
to
put
you
on
a

on
this,
but
I
know
that
you
didn't
draft
up.
This
form
did
you.
These
are
forms
that
have
been
used,
I,
know
and
as
I
say
so
in
saying
that
I
think
you'd
find
it
logical
that
we
remove
that

Maybe
the

I,
don't
know
the

in
there.

Real

yes

Yes,
we're
having
some
ordinance
issues
with
that
property
right
now,
including
a
lack
of
a
certificate
of
occupancy.
So
I'd
ask
that
you
put
that

I
can

you
once
those
things
have
been
corrected
so.

Question
for
the
mayor,
I
was
coming
in
the
side
door
this
afternoon
in
I
used
to
saw
the
card
swipe.
Have
we
I,
don't
think
we're
using
X
I,
don't
have
a
card?
No,
are
we
going
to
put
it
into?
Are
we
going
to
use
I
mean?
Are
we
going
to
start
using
it
or
what's
what's
happening?
Mr.
S
E
Got
something
that
I
want
to
bring
up
and
I
think
I'm
gonna
have
to
direct
us
to
mr.
mayor.
If
it's
possible,
I
received
a
somebody
put
this
in
my
mailbox
and
it's
nothing,
that's
not
known,
but
it's
about
a
private
invitational
e
party
that
you're
given
to
two
people
who
are
deserving
of
it.
But
the
question
comes
in
to
play
us
of
why
city
assets
were
being
used
for
this
clearly
on
a
dearborn
heights
male
head
and
the
RSVP
was
going
to
the
recreation
department
and
that's
city
assets
for
a
private
party.
I
Periodically
the
Recreation
Department
has
events
that
they
provide
to
seniors,
and
this
is
really
directed
towards
seniors,
predominantly
if
not
totally,
and
so
the
Recreation
Department
and
I
had
talked
about
and
I
just
thought.
We
have
two
people
who
have
served.
The
community
for
many
years
have
done
a
fine
job
and
given
so
in
order
it
not
to
be
called
a.
You
know,
maybe
like
a
fall
fling
type
party,
I
thought
it'd
be
nice
to
honor
those
two
council
members.
I
So
that's
why
they're
there
the
center
of
it,
but
it's
really
to
to
show
in
and
give
them
some
acknowledgement
and
recognition
for
the
work.
They've
done
so
it's
it's!
It
could
I,
don't
know
that
this
is
something
that
I
would
encourage
to
be
doing
on
a
consistent
basis,
but
I
thought
these
two
individuals
deserve
that
and
that's
how
it
came
about,
rather
than
it
being
more
generic
all
right.
Thank
You.
Mr.
mayor
for.
B
A
few
comments
on
the
election,
our
new
video
regarding
the
november
eighth
presidential
election-
is
now
up
on
youtube.
I
don't
know
if
it's
showing
on
television
is
it
Bob,
mr.
and
prep
it
is.
It
is
also
showing
in
a
cable
I'd
like
to
thank
our
cameraman
mr.
Stan
Gore
narrow
for
a
outstanding
job.
He
made
his
time
available
to
us,
made
the
process
painless
of.
B
B
Contrary
to
those
of
you
who
may
have
read
the
Detroit
News
ballots
were
not
mailed
out
on
Saturday.
I
can
only
assume
that
that
information
got
a
bit
garbled
because
we
were
required
by
law
to
provide
the
military
balance
45
days
before
I
want
you
to
know
that
we
did
not
even
get
enough
ballots
on
Thursday
to
fulfill
our
current
requests.
The
printer
is
behind
I
had
to
go
today
to
personally
pick
up
around
over
5,000
ballots.
We
will
have
them
stuffed
and
in
the
mail
tomorrow,
so
you
shall
be
receiving
them,
probably
friday.
B
So
please
understand
that
that
information
was
erroneous.
Lastly,
we've
got
a
few
angry
people
at
us.
Our
phones
are
experiencing
difficulties.
We
are
not
hanging
up
on
you,
so
please,
please
understand
that
it's
beyond
our
control,
one
lady,
thank
goodness

times
and
all
I
was
able
to
do,
is
get
her
name
and
a
time
to
train
her
for
the
election.
So
we
are,
we
are
doing
our
best,
so
we
don't
hang
up
on
anybody
and
we
answer
are
all
our
calls
and
the
clerk's
office.
T
P
Chief
Karen
I'm
just
going
to
make
quick
comment.
I
know
mr.
chair
and
another
council
member
already
addressed
the
sad
situation
that
occurred
in
our
city
earlier
in
a
week,
so
I
just
wanted
to
thank
our
first
responders
from
the
police
department
and
also
the
fire
department
for
the
professionalism
they
displayed
during
the
situation.
I
got
numerous
calls
from
residents
from
the
hospital,
some
chaplains
faking,
the
professionalism
in
the
courtesy
that
first
responders
extended
to
the
family
and
all
the
people
involved.
P
So
I
just
wanted
to
thank
first
responders
and
a
lot
of
members
in
the
community
came
forth
and
sent
us
emails
complimenting.
You
know
the
professionalism
of
the
officers
during
a
situation
like
this,
that
you
know,
we've
never
experienced
in
different
heights
before
so
everyone
aggregated
in
a
professional
and
in
turn
we
got
the
job
done.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
This.
E
A
A
G
J
Oh
I
think
it
then
appropriate.
Follow-Up
to
that
comment
is
we're
all
called
to
serve
whether
we
serve
here
or
elsewhere.
Councilwoman
Horvath
has
served
over
half
of
her
life
attending
to
the
needs
and
affairs
of
our
citizens.
So
if
your
genetic
code
is
what
I
think
is-
and
your
stamina
persists,
don't
promise
me
don't
promise
me
or
the
other
people
that
you're
living
in
December
17.
A
J
O
Deb
Brown
England
on
the
run
silver
lane,
first
of
it
to
urge
you
all
to
still
vote
in
favor
of
changing
the
agendas
what
the
residents
speak
before
vote,
even
though
certain
council
members
are
trying
to
stop
this
with
some
misinformation
and
complaining
about
being
here
till
3am.
This
warm
it
does
work
in
other
cities,
I've
seen
it
work,
I've
gone
to
these
council
meetings.
Other
cities
and
I
just
had
that
sad
that
it's
just
sit
there
and
argue
or
to
interrupt
somebody
when
they're
trying
to
do
the
right
thing
for
our
citizens.
O
It's
important
that
the
residents
and
the
people
who
vote
for
this
body
are
heard
on
issues
that
affect
their
lives
and
safety,
even
though
certain
council
members
don't
want
to
hear
we
have
to
say
when
we
educate
ourselves
on
the
subject,
we're
considered
to
be
coached.
When
we
speak
out
on
a
subject
and
have
an
opposing
viewpoint,
we
are
campaigning
to
foster
a
negative
opinion
again
more
misinformation,
because
the
definition
and
standards
of
the
city
of
different
heights,
City,
Council
policies
and
procedures
campaigning
applies
to
running,
announcing
or
advocating
for
support
of
a
political
candidate.
O
Not
speaking
out
on
a
subject,
these
are
all
comments
from
members
of
this
body.
Again,
I
find
it
disgraceful
that
these
members
are
trying
to
trample
on
the
First
Amendment
rights
and
our
rights
as
Americans,
but
please
rest
assured
that
we
will
not
let
our
campaign
against
the
takeover
of
our
911
dispatch
to
be
shut
off.
We
will
fight
against
the
selling
of
our
safety
and
we
will
not
be
intimidated.
Q
Suzanne
taught
academy
street
first
of
all,
I'd
like
to
thank
our
first
responders
to
it
must
have
been
awful
and
I
can
only
hold
you
in
my
prayers
and
thoughts.
Thank
you
for
being
an
anvil
one
and
showing
what
a
great
place
Dearborn
Heights
says.
Oh
the
second
thing,
I'd
like
to
make
a
shout
out
to
Jack
who
picked
up
a
wandering
beagle
wearing
the
cone
of
shame.
Q
He
he
was
he'd
gotten
loose,
and
this
was
a
Friday
evening
and
Jack
come
over
to
my
house
and
he
says:
can
you
please
help
this
poor
dog
I
just
picked
him
up
he's
wandering
around
I
know
he
belongs
to
somebody,
because
he
has
that
cone
of
shame.
Shame
on
so
there
was
Jack
going
out
going
that
extra
mile
to
find
this
little
dogs,
home
and
I.
Just
I
know.
I
come
up
here
and
I
complain
a
lot
but
I'd
like
to
say
that
I
thought
that
was
very
nice
of
him
to
do.
