From YouTube: Dearborn Heights City Council Meeting: 5/25/21
Description
The Dearborn Heights City Council Meeting taking place Tuesday, May 25th 2021 via Zoom.
A
Good
evening,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
today
is
may
25th
2021.
This
is
our
electronically
held
regular
meeting
of
the
dearborn
heights
city
council.
This
is
a
virtual
meeting
at
this
time.
Madam
chair,
can
you
please
take
roll
call?
Yes,
council
members,
please
state
the
city
and
state
in
which
you're
currently
residing
I'm
going
to
start
with
dave,
abdullah.
C
A
A
A
Thank
you.
Everyone,
please
be
seated
before
I
start
with
the
agenda
approval
at
this
time.
I
ask
we
take
a
moment
of
silence.
15
years
ago
on
may
24
2006,
corporal
jason
makowsky,
was
shot
in
the
line
of
duty
and
he
died
from
his
injury
on
may.
25Th
2006,
which
is
today,
is
the
anniversary
of
his
death.
Please
keep
corporal
mikowski
family
and
friends
and
his
colleagues
in
blue
in
your
thoughts
and
prayers
at
this
time.
Let's
take
a
moment
of.
A
Silence.
Thank
you
at
this
time.
Before
I
move
forward
with
the
agenda,
I
have
noticed
some
people
raising
their
hands
out
of
order.
Please
understand
this
portion
of
the
meeting
is
for
council
members
to
discuss
the
agenda
and
vote
on
certain
issues.
If
we
feel
it
is
necessary
to
ask
someone
from
the
administration
to
clarify
something,
we
will
direct
the
call
the
question
to
that
individual.
If
you
raise
your
hand-
and
I
don't
call
on
you-
please
don't
be
offended-
I'm
not
ignoring
you.
It's
just
not
appropriate
time
for
you
to
speak.
A
A
We
shall
confine
ourselves
to
question
under
debate
and
that's
it
we're
just
supposed
to
question
what
is
ever
before
us
and
not
go
off
on
anything
else
and
that's
in
our
maintenance
of
order
policy
and
procedure.
502
debts,
two
three
that
was
brought
to
my
attention,
so
I'm
reading
that
so
we're
all
aware
of
it.
At
this
time
I
like
to
start
with
agenda
approval.
A
E
I
move
at
the
dearborn
heights
city
council
approved
the
may
25th
2021
electronically
held
regular
meeting
agenda
is
submitted,
support.
G
Yes,
it
came
to
my
attention
that
there's
a
property
at
24127
courier
that
needs
to
be
put
on
the
agenda
in
item
8a
for
the
purchase
agreement
it
well.
The
property
owner
signed
the
purchase
agreement
for
this
home
and
would
like
to
move
forward
with
the
process.
So
if
we
could
add
that
address
to
8a,
it
would
grant
great
be
greatly
appreciated.
G
G
This
was
just
the
other
day.
I
I
became
aware
of
it,
and
I
you
know
I
figured
I'd,
be
able
to
just
to
put
this
on
here
today,
since
it's
a
property
that
that
needs
to
be
put
on.
A
G
Called
me
to
add
to
the
agenda,
you
know
this
is
one
of
the
homes
that
that
again
is
is
in
a
flood
area,
and
I
don't
think
any
of
the
council.
People
will
object
to
having
this
home
sold,
so
the
property
owner
can
get
out
from
underneath
it
and
that's
why
I'm
bringing
it
up
now,
because
I,
I
truly
believe
that
the
council
people
won't
have
a
problem
agreeing
with
this.
This
is
okay.
A
Because,
like
I
said
it's
not,
you
know,
we
could
have
added
this
yesterday
and
give
everybody
time
or
even
the
day
before,
if
you
knew
a
few
days
ago,
putting
it
on
at
the
last
minute
to
purchase
a
home
that
nobody's
had
a
chance
to
research.
I
leave
that
to
council.
I
I
question
it.
I
like
to
be
able
to
check
on
those
properties,
because
I
already
did
on
the
other
ones
and
to
put
it
on
at
the
last
minute
like
this,
doesn't
really
help
us
at
all.
Well,.
G
Council
chair,
yes,
I'm
putting
forward
the
the
the
idea
to
put
it
on
now.
If
it
requires
another
motion
afterward,
I
will
be
glad
to
make
a
motion
and
have
the
council
people
vote
on
it,
but
I
I
just
think
that's
just
going
up
and
beyond,
and
I
think
that
if
you,
if
you
canvass
the
council
people
now,
I'm
pretty
sure
that
they
would
agree
with
me
that
the
property
owner
would
love
to
have
this
put
on
the
agenda.
A
B
Council
chair,
I
I
I
agree
with
you
100
as
much
as
I
do
want
to
help
out
every
single
resident,
including,
sadly,
the
situation
on
courier
non-hanover.
I
do
agree
100
percent.
We
we
got
to
get
that
a
little
bit
ahead
of
time,
so
we
can
do
some
research
on
our
end.
Just
to
make
sure
everything
is
all
t's
are
across
all
eyes
that
got
it
in
addition
that
the
different
department
heads
treasurers
comptroller,
the
mayor's
office,
et
cetera
et
cetera,
has
done
what
they
need
to
do.
B
So
I
honestly
I
personally
would
not
feel
comfortable
last
second
like
this,
just
approving
it
just
based
on
you
know
the
emotional
part
of
it,
which
I
do
sympathize
with,
but.
A
Yeah,
I
agree
with
you
this.
I
have
no
problem
putting
on
the
next
agenda.
I'd
be
more
than
happy
to.
If
somebody
had
called
me,
we
could
have
done
it
yesterday
with
the
amendment,
because,
apparently
it's
been
this
way
for
a
few
days.
Can
you
tell
me
councilman
muscat?
Why
no
one
reached
out
to
me
in
regards.
G
Well,
it
was
the
the
mayor.
A
Okay
yeah,
he
has
my
number.
If
he
would
have
called
me,
I
would
have
been
more
than
happy
to
put
that
on
there
for
him.
Okay,
next,
we
have
councilman
wenzel
go
ahead.
Please.
H
G
G
A
Do
we
have
the
contract
and
we
have
the
contract
in
our
packet?
Let's
look
at
it
and
see
what
it
says.
A
L
M
Thank
you,
council,
chair.
Yes,
this
is
with
regards
to
the
fema
grant
that
is
due
on
august
20th,
so
we
are
kind
of
in
a
time
crunch.
This
is
the
exact
same
documentation
that
you
received
at
the
previous
council
meeting
for
the
five
homes
that
we
were
going
out
for
purchase.
M
The
only
reason
we're
adding
it
again
is
because
now
the
owner
of
the
house
has
actually
signed
the
purchase
agreement
and
agreed
for
us
to
move
forward
with
the
process
and
if
we
could
have
the
time
to
do
it
now,
it
does
give
us
two
weeks
to
start
with
the
entire
process
reaching
out
to
the
title
agency
and
starting
the
demolition,
the
purchase
and
demolition
process.
So
it
does
take
multiple
steps
and
we
are
kind
of
in
a
time
crunch.
M
A
I
do
have
a
possible
suggestion.
We
didn't
put
the
budget
on
today
and
the
reason
for
that
is
we
got
it
yesterday.
I
know
our
comptrollers
knew
and
I
took
it
off
the
agenda
to
not
put
them
in
a
crunch
situation.
Where
he's
got
to
get
it
out
right
away,
we
will
be
having
a
special
meeting.
We
were
thinking,
maybe
this
thursday.
A
M
Everything
again
and
you've
seen
it
last
council
meeting
as
well.
Nothing
has
changed
other
than
now.
It's
signed.
A
A
A
We,
if
we
can
agree
to
put
it
on
in
a
couple
days
that
would
work
it's
still
within
the
timeline
right.
Okay,
that
way,
council
members
have
a
chance
to
look
at
it
and
everybody's
happy,
because
I
know
they
don't
like
things
at
the
last
minute.
I
will
warn
you
on
that.
D
Thank
you,
madam
chair.
What
is
the
harm
to
the
city
if
this
is
put
on
and
my
question
to
mr
jamal?
I
believe
we
have
to
pay
25
percent
of
this
grant
from
the
city
and
I
believe
he
is
trying
to
get
through
the
fema
somehow
that
they
give
us
the
25
percent
back,
so
the
city
doesn't
pay
anything
to
work
pushes
in
those
homes.
Okay,.
A
Right
now
we
are
approving
the
agenda
when
we
get
to
8a.
We
can
ask
mr
hospital.
A
We're
going
to
be
we've
agreed
with
chief
of
staff
to
put
it
on
thursday
in
a
special
meeting,
we're
going
to
be
having
to
avoid
any
conflict
and
make
the
council
members
happy
that
they
can
verify
it
before
wednesday.
A
So
at
this
time
I
don't
really
see
a
need
to
have
a
motion.
Councilman
abdullah,.
B
Council
chair,
I
just
want
to
say
for
the
administration
and
and
again
and
they're
saying
they
don't
want
to
be
delayed,
but
one
of
the
things
that
you
can
do
and
I'm
just
telling
you
based
on
my
experience
in
my
real
estate
business
you
can
get
the
process
started
right
now
with
the
title
company
since
that
purchase
stream.
It
was
signed
by
all
parties.
No,
no,
it
wouldn't
be
official
title
work,
just
send
it
down
time.
I
want
to
get
the.
B
I
don't
know
about
fema,
I'm
talking
about
in
terms
of
title
companies
and
time
when
I
get
the
title
work
started
I'll,
have
the
official
approval
on
thursday.
It
shouldn't
delay
you
any.
If
you
send
a
thumb
to
you
know
today
or
tomorrow
or
whatever
and
again
that's
just
based
on.
You
know
my
business
if
I
don't
have
a
purchase
stream,
it's
signed,
but
I
know
it's
going
to
be
signed
on
thursday,
but
I
need
title
work
I'll.
Let
the
title
company,
no
he's!
Here's
the
terms!
B
M
B
M
By
the
mayor
and
that's
why
approval
from
city
council
to
be
approved
by
the
mayor
to
move
on
with
the
process?
But
we.
N
G
N
F
A
O
H
Yes,
I
I
my
question
from
a
few
minutes
ago
was
why
13b
was
removed
from
the
agenda.
A
Yes,
I
did
explain
that
the
reason
we
move
remove
13b
is
council
needs
more
time
to
look
over
the
budget.
The
budget
is
the
most
important
thing
we
as
a
body
vote
on
throughout
the
whole
year
and,
as
you
know,
from
experience
when
we
push
through
the
union
contract,
there
was
things
that
were
not
correct
in
it
and
it
took
us
almost
a
year
to
correct
it.
We
were
thinking
of
doing
a
budget,
I'm
sorry
a
special
meeting
on
thursday
and
we'll
vote
on
it.
A
H
Okay,
I
mean
this
isn't
going
to
cause
us
to
delay
this
any.
You
know
because
it's
come
june
or
is
it
june
6
or
something
six.
A
H
Okay,
I'm
just
concerned
about
people
having
to
work
over
the
weekend
and
to
get
stuff
done
for
next
week,
because
I
think
what
is
it
next?
It's
the
sixth.
The
sixth
is:
what
is
that
one
next,
a
week
from
monday.
B
Well,
I
I
just
want
to
say
a
council
chair
that
I'm
in
agreement
with
you
on
on
holding
off
on
this
for
a
little
bit
at
least
a
couple
days,
so
that
we
can
have
an
opportunity
to
review
it.
I
I
did
not
complain,
but
I
did
make
some
calls
just
started
to
understand
why
I
was
being
taken
off
the
agenda
and
I
do
agree
with
the
thought
process
of
having
a
day
or
two
to
look
over
so
that
we
can
make
sure
that
everything's
on
board,
with
what
we're.
Looking
for.
Thank
you.
A
Yeah
and
I
want
to
say
too,
I
took
it
off
at
12
noon
yesterday,
because
we
didn't
have
the
budget.
I
also
thought
it
would
maybe
relieve
some
pressure
from
our
new
comptroller
to
maybe
give
him
a
little
extra
time
to
make
sure
he
had
everything
done.
I
didn't
realize
he
was
ready
to
bring
it
out
in
the
afternoon
because
no
one,
let
me
know
that-
and
I
have
next
councilman
eva
hawk
and
I'm
sorry
you
were
before
councilman
abdullah,
but
as
soon
as
I
say
abdel
I
won.
D
A
D
D
G
A
G
I
would
prefer
a
tuesday
myself
coming
up
to
the
holiday
weekend,
and
people
want
to
get
out
of
town
and
and
do
things
personally,
but
I
will
do
whatever
the
majority
of
the
council.
People
want.
That's
that's.
Definitely.
I
will
do
that.
H
E
G
G
A
I
A
I
H
A
P
Damn
dear
one
hi,
it's
michigan
wayne
county,
I
would
like
to
would
like
you
to
clarify
a
couple
of
things
for
me
number
one.
You
mentioned
to
counseling
musket
that
before
you
tried
working
with
some
resident
regarding
the
flooded
property
having
a
flooded
property
on
the
agenda
today
and
moving
the
process
a
little
bit
faster
for
those
residents
who
are
really
affected
with
the
floods
will
not
affect
anybody.
P
That's
number
one
number
two.
It
seems
like
you've
taken
you
making
your
own
personal
decision
on
some
agenda
items
without
any
authorization
from
other
council
members
number
one.
We
have
an
issue
of
that
budget
that
several
meetings
took
you
over
five
hours
to
get
it
done,
and
now
we
decided
to
remove
the
agenda.
P
I
don't
know
who
told
you
that
the
assessor
will
have
a
problem
with
council.
Members
will
have
a
problem,
so
if
I
may,
after
I
finish
up,
I
would
like
to
ask
councils
if
they
are
willing
to
put
it
back
on
the
agenda
today
or
not.
My
third
point
is
forget
about
any
budget
issues.
Anything
there
was
another
item
that
was
removed
of
the
agenda,
which
was
the
firework
to
be
taken
care
of.
Q
A
Q
Q
A
Q
A
M
Thank
you,
council
chair.
I
would
like
to
ask
for
item
I'm
sorry
7b
to
be
referred
back
to
the
administration.
A
R
Yes,
good
evening,
madam
chair
good
evening,
mayor
bazi,
I
respectfully
ask
that
we
move.
We
remove
item
nines
here
from
the
agenda.
Please.
R
A
A
A
D
Yes,
madam
chair
those
a
and
b,
apparently
they
they
belong
to
the
same
property
from
google
earth.
From
looking
at
it
now,.
B
A
Council
chair,
would
you
like
me
to
unmute
the
assassin
yeah
go
ahead?
Please,
okay,.
A
C
I
get
okay,
so
I
heard
there
was
a
question
I
I
don't
have
what
their
project
is
on
this
one
exactly.
I
think
he
just
wants
to
repave
everything.
As
far
as
I
know,
because
they're
already
kind
of
using
this
as
parking
back
there,
it's
just
never
officially
been
theirs
and
they've
never
paid
for
it
now,
but
now
it
would
basically
just
be
converting
what
they're
already
using
as
a
drive
entrance
and
parking
into
a
tax
payable
land.
Okay,.
J
C
J
B
So
there's
two
different
businesses
there.
One
of
them
is
a
medical
facility,
and
one
of
them
is,
I
think,
physical
therapy
or
doctors
sound
like
that
they're,
both
something
medical
and
they're.
Both
from
what
I
understood
from
the
last
meeting,
we
had
maybe
a
few
meetings
back
and
also
spoke
with
our
assessor.
They
were
using
that
particular
parse
parcel
of
land
anyways.
It
just
not
becomes
officially
theirs,
but
I
do
want
to
point
out
to
the
council
and
I
drove
by
it.
B
This
is
a
it
goes
from
waverly
and
it
ends
at
the
cemetery.
So
really
it's
it's
an
it's
an
alley
to
nowhere.
It's
just
for
those
two
businesses.
If
you
want
to
use
the
alley
to
get
into
their
businesses,
it's
right
behind
the
state
center.
I
think
in
this
particular
case.
I
think
it's
a
great
idea
honestly,
just
give
it
to
them.
Let
them
maintain
it
they're,
using
it
anyways
and
and
be
done
with
it
and
an
accessory
time
agreed
to.
C
Yeah-
and
I
would
say
the
only
other
thing
is
you
just
have
to
guarantee
easement
utility
access
for
that,
because
we
do
have
for
both
of
these
coming
up.
They
both
need
to
be
accessible
by
different
utilities.
B
One
there's
this
first
one
is
one
block
east
of
by
the
car,
wash
there
one
block
east
of
telegraph
and
then
the
other
one
at
the
corner,
west
side
of
telegraph,
but
google
maps
somehow
screws
it
up.
E
Man,
I'm
sure
thank
you
so
much,
and
I'm
just
going
to
also
piggyback
on
councilman
abdullah
just
to
answer
some
of
councilman
abdelhax
questions.
I
do
know
that,
speaking
with
the
owner
that
he's
looking
to
pave
the
entire
parking
lot.
I
know
that
there's
I
mean
it
comes
kind
of
like
councilman
abdullah
said
it's
an
alley
that
comes
up
and
it
goes
right
into
a
dead
end,
and
so
you
know
I
mean
if
we
can
tax
and
have
the
city
you
know
allocate
some
money.
E
S
S
So
yeah,
both
of
you
are
correct.
Council
chair
pro
tem
abdullah.
I
also
spoke
with
the
owner
he's
concerned
also
about
dayana
a
daycare
over
there
and
they're
concerned
about
the
the
safety
of
children.
You
know
in
a
lot,
so
that's
why
they
want
to
do
that
say
vacate.
So
nobody,
nobody
goes
through
their
area
just
like
anybody
with
their
vehicle.
So
I
think
that's
a
good
idea
and,
as
mentioned
you
know,
also
generates
more
tax
revenues
for
the
state
or
for
the
city.
Sorry,.
D
I
my
question
was
answered.
Thank
you.
A
A
A
T
Yeah,
I
was
just
going
to
note
it.
It
sounded
like
you
had
a
motion
to
go
into
the
open
hearing,
but
I
know
that
you
ended
up
actually
having
a
vote
on
that.
A
A
E
E
Move
that
the
city
of
dearborn
heights
city
council
closed
the
public
hearing
as
outlined
in
5a.
A
A
E
I
move
that
the
city
of
dearborn
heights
city
council
approves
the
ali
vacation
off
of
waverly
behind
warren.
It
is
a
20-foot
wide
alley
of
off
of
waverly
adj
on
the
south
side,
lot
134
and
153
and
adj
on
the
north
side,
lot
154
through
166
and
the
maxwell's
warren
telegraph
sub,
t2s
r10e
l51
p53,
as
outlined
in
5a.
T
A
G
E
A
B
I'll
comment
either
as
a
resident
or
as
a
councilman,
whatever
you
prefer,
it
doesn't
matter,
but
either
way.
I
I
do
want
to
say
that
I'm
glad
that
that
particular
parcel
of
land
is
going
to
be
developed
because
that's
been
kind
of
an
eyesore
for
a
lot
of
the
residents
right
near
there.
A
gas
station
was
shut
down
there,
approximately
10
12
15
years
ago,
and
it's
been
nothing
but
just
empty
land
with
a
whole
bunch
of
rocks
all
over
the
place
and
I'm
bad.
B
A
A
We
have
tom
from
tiffa
here.
Let's
ask
him:
that
would
be
his
expertise.
N
U
You
know
it's
not
in
the
tiffa
zone.
The
tiffa
zone
is
basically
everything
south
of
michigan
avenue
and
west
of
telegraph.
G
I
move
the
dearborn
heights
city
council
close
the
public
hearing
as
outlined
in
5b
the
park
part.
I
A
F
A
B
A
D
Yes,
definitely
we
do
have
eighty
thousand
dollars
for
waitram.
I
would
refer
this
back
to
the
administration,
to
have
a
city
engineer.
Look
at
it,
because
there
is
a
possibility
of
saving
lots
of
money
on
on
this
portion
of
it.
I
don't
mind
to
approve
the
the
portion.
The
other
portion
of
the
you
know
request,
but
the
engineering
part
has
to
go
through
the
city
engineer.
I
refer
that
portion
back
to
the
administration.
Please.
D
That
is
very
possible
that
we,
you
know
we
don't
have
to
put
both
of
them
together
in
the
same
motion.
He
could
have
put
him
separate,
but
mr
selmy
put
both
of
them
to
approve
both
of
it
together.
I
rather
since
it
is,
you
know
big
sum
of
money
and
we
have
city
engineer
who
is
professional
engineer
I
like
him
to
look
at
it.
Maybe
there
is
few
thousand
dollars
saving
it.
G
Can
we
is
the
cop
is
mr
dave
available
to
see
if
he
even
look
has
looked
at
it
already?
I
don't
know
that,
so
we
could
ask
him
if
he's
already
looked
at
it
and
we
can
solve
this
real
quick
if
he
said
he's
looked
at
it.
A
W
Be
here
yeah,
I'm
here!
Thank
you
good
evening.
You
know
this
is
only
a
recommendation
for
me
for
the
council,
so
whatever
the
council
council
like
to
do
with
it
will
be
their
pleasure.
A
We've
got
a
motion
on
the
table.
We've
got
to
vote
on
that.
Yes,
we
do.
I
think
you
could
amend
the
emotion
to
refer
it
back
to
administration
and
that
would
be
councilman
of
doubtless
you're
right.
A
T
Technically
you
could
just
refer
it.
It's
considered
an
incidental
motion,
so
you
can
make
a
motion
to
refer
just
so
you
can
make
a
motion
to
table.
You
don't
have
to
then
bring
the
main
motion.
You
can
vote
on
that
motion.
It
refers,
it
takes
precedence
and
then
it
can
end
up
being
brought
back
by
the
administration.
T
A
B
Okay,
so
I
I
have
had
I've
heard
good
things
about
mr
allah,
deeb
and
I'm
sure
he's
very
well
qualified
and
I've
also
spoken
with
our
dpw
director
john
selmy,
in
regards
to
weight
trim.
Specifically,
I've
also
heard
different
comments
here
and
there
throughout
the
city
in
regards
to
the
charges
that
are
going
out
to
wait,
trim-
and
I'm
just
wondering
if
this
is
not
the
right
time
for
us
as
a
council
to
assess
this.
How
much
money
is
going
out
to
weight
trim.
B
I'd
be
the
first
to
tell
you
that
I
am
not
an
expert
in
engineering
or
by
any
stretch
of
the
imagination,
but
maybe
the
experts
in
charge
that
we
do
have,
whether
it's
alidi,
whether
it's
john
selmy,
you
know
et
cetera,
et
cetera,
look
into
this-
maybe
some
sort
of
a
way
to
be
able
to
save
money.
Because
one
of
the
concerns
that
I
have-
and
it's
just
maybe
it's
a
salesman
in
me.
B
But
whenever
we
get
bids
like
for
in
this
case-
and
this
is
what
due
respect
to
weight
trim
whenever
we
get
bids
like
in
this
case,
firmware
trim
on
an
engineering
budget
for
a
project
and
it's
a
just
a
random
number
of
80
500.
That
makes
me
think
it's
just
the
the
the
conspiracy
theorist
to
me.
I
just
want
to
call
it.
You
know
just
a
number
that
would
yeah
that
would
make
them
make
a
profit,
but
it's
not
necessarily
dollar
for
dollar
assessed.
As
far
as
how
much
it
would
take
to
complete
that
project.
B
With
that
being
the
case,
I'd
like
to
have
a
second
eye
on
this,
and
it
would
not
be
myself.
That's
not
my
field
of
expertise,
maybe
mr
alideeb,
like
councilman
of
the
huck,
suggested,
maybe
dpw,
I'm
not
sure,
but
again,
this
is
what
do
respectfully
trim.
I
picked.
The
numbers,
at
least
from
my
ignorant
assessment,
seem
to
be
on
the
high
side.
Thank
you.
A
Director
selmy
here
yep,
I
think
he
wants
to
speak
on
that
go
ahead.
Yeah.
W
A
X
X
And
so
so
you
know,
clarity
is,
is
key
and
we're
not
wait.
Trim
is
not
hiding
anything
and
the
numbers
that
you
see
there
are
within
the
range
like.
If
you
look
most
most
engineering
firms
will
for
contract
administration
and
construction
engineering.
X
They
will
be
somewhere
in
the
range
of
seven
to
eight
percent
of
the
of
the
bid
amount
and
then
an
additional
one
and
a
half
percent
one
to
one
and
a
half
percent
for
for
testing
and
and
if
you
you'll
note
that
the
numbers
are
are
well
within
that
range
and
and
so
to
answer
your
question.
Yes,
it's
not
it's
not
a
random
number.
We
I
put
a
lot
of
effort
into
that.
B
Sure,
and-
and
I
totally
respect
that
and
again,
I
have
no
reason
to
suspect
that
wait.
Trim,
god
forbid,
is
up
to
no
good,
but
with
that
being
the
case
at
the
same
time,
us
as
council
members
at
least
helps
become
my
behalf
again.
B
This
is
not
my
field
of
expertise,
so
when
we
receive
a
packet
and
we
get
the
the
bidding
from
white
prim
and
here
like
I'm
looking
right
in
front
of
me
right
here,
you
got
about
a
good,
easily
60
70
lines
of
three
four
different
brackets
of
numbers
and
all
kinds
of
twenty
thousand
earth.
Three
thousand
that
twenty
hundred
does
two
hundred.
That's
one
hundred
dollar
that
I'm
just
saying
I'd
like
to
see
another
set
of
eyes,
objective
eyes,
look
at
those
numbers
just
to
make
sure
that
the
numbers
are.
B
You
know
going
in
the
right
direction
in
addition
to
that,
if
money
can
be
saved
by
having
one
of
and
it
can
be
done
efficiently
and
the
logistics
can
be
worked
on
a
way
where
it
would
not
affect
the
project.
Obviously,
but
if
we
had
somebody
from
within
our
building
department,
take
a
look
at
that
and
save
us
some
money.
I
think
it
would
be
a
great
idea
if
he
or
she
or
whoever
it
is,
is
not
able
to
save
us
some
money
at
the
very
minimal.
B
I
would
request
that
administration
have
somebody
that's
on
our
behalf.
Of
course,
john
selme
is
one,
and
maybe
mr
al-adib
is
another,
take
a
look
at
those
numbers
and
make
sure
they
are
correct
because
else
as
council
people,
that
is
not
our
field
of
expertise
to
be
able
to
determine
if
those
numbers
jive
or
not
and
again,
with
due
respect.
B
X
T
I
just
wanted
to
since
there's
been
a
delay
to
maybe
recommend
the
language
for
the
motion.
If,
if.
N
T
You,
if
you,
if
you
amend
the
main
motion,
then
you
don't
have
to
end
up
actually
doing
the
rest
of
it
there.
So
thank
you.
If
you're.
A
All
those
in
favor
say
aye
aye
those
opposed
the
eyes
have
it.
I
know
there
were
some
other
council
members
in
the
mayor
who
had
their
hand
raised,
but
this
is
going
to
come
back
before
us,
so
we
might
as
well
discuss
it
fresh
when
it
comes
back
again.
Instead
of
answering
our
questions
now
and
voting
on
it
and
for
transparency
for
the
residents
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
dpw
director
sami
bit
award
for
lower
rouge
csol
dash
42
sewer
separation
program.
A
They
were
asked
councilman
abella
to
re.
Refer
it
back
to
administration.
H
A
Somebody
would
just
have
to
make
I've
got
eight
eight
b,
going
back
to
the
administration,
I'm
on
seven
b,
you're
on
seven
b,
that's
the
one
that
they
wanted
to
go
back
to
administration.
Oh,
I
had
okay,
because
I
had
it
marked
as
eight
b
7b.
Okay,
then
that
would
be
further
back
yep.
Okay
7b.
Can
somebody
make
the
motion
to
refer
that
back
to
the
administration.
A
H
D
S
Well,
there's
that's
twice
somebody
brought
this,
so
I
guess
you
know
for
transparency.
As
you
always
say,
you
know
I
wanted
to
let
the
residents
know.
I
know
councilman
abdul
brought
this
and
also
council,
chair
protem,
brought
this
question,
so
we
had
a
meeting
several
days
ago
with
way
trim
and
we
are
actually
looking
at
a
lot
of
things
and
as
as
mentioned
to
the
council
a
couple
of
months
ago
that
were
assessing
all
contracts
and
all
companies
that
were
currently
doing
business
with
so
okay.
S
A
F
A
T
J
G
Is
this
going
to
be
the
same
kind
of
sidewalk?
We
had
about
a
program
we
had
where
the
amount
is
reduced
per
flag
of
cement
replaced,
or
is
this
going
to
be
at
the
premium
cost
to
the
homeowners?
S
Sure
so
this
is
something
that
again,
you
know
what
I
mentioned
earlier,
with
companies
being
awarded
jobs
with
having
no
contract
with
the
city.
S
So
this
is
one
of
the
things
that
we
wanted
to
make
sure
that,
as
as
you
know
as
transparent
as
we
can,
you
know
make
sure
that
all
companies
that
do
business
with
the
city
they
have
to
go
out.
All
contracts
have
to
go
out
for
bed,
so
the
previous
company
that
was
doing
work
for
that
particular
work,
never
had
a
contract
and
they
were
just
being
awarded
a
job
for
years
and
no
contract,
nothing,
no
bidding.
S
We
get
a
company
that
actually
can
bid
jobs
for
a
cheaper
price
than
you
know.
Whoever
you
know
can
bid
on
this
to
do
sidewalk
program
for
the
residents
so
that
we
have
a
stack
of
jobs
that
were
line
that
lined
up
for
that.
Actually
volunteered
the
residents
volunteered
to
do
the
work
want
us
to
do
the
work.
S
So
that's
that's
what
this
is.
You
know
we
want
to
make
sure
that
we
send
it
out
fairly
to
all
companies
that
they
can
bet
on
this.
So
it's
going
to
be
the
best
bidder.
Obviously
they
have
to
follow
the
specification
and
make
sure
that
the
residents
they
have
the
best
you
know
the
best
quality
best
price
and
then
the
city
actually
controls.
Who
who
does
the
work?
You
know
under
the
proper
bidding
process,
so.
A
Y
Yeah
good
afternoon
this,
the
second
thing,
the
the
mayor,
this
particular
program-
gonna,
be
a
non-federally
support
program.
It's
it's
gonna,
be
paid
by
the
resident
as
you
go
or
if
they
choose,
they
want
to
put
it
on
their.
You
know,
as
as
you
know
on
when
they
pay
their
taxes,
they
pay.
It
will
have
a
multiple
latitude
with
this
program
because
it's
not
federally
supported,
so
we
will
come
back
later.
Y
You
know
with
more
more
information
as
as
long
as
we
are
trying
to
help
the
people
they
have
too
many
different
needs.
We
talk
to
the
mayor
about
that.
We
will.
We
will
come
later
on
you.
You
know,
with
with
a
lot
of
other
venues,
to
to
use
that
particular
contractors.
Y
If,
if
the
city
decide
they
want
to
do
their
own
inspections,
they
manage
the
administration,
so
will
be
a
very
little
charge
to
just
cover.
There
is
no
profit
from
this.
This
is
this
is
actually
a
very
transparent
and
will
will
try
to
do
the
best
for
the
resident
with
it.
Y
E
Man
chair,
thank
you
so
much.
I
will
be
very
brief.
Thanks
to
director
hassan
jamal,
he
actually
answered
some
of
my
questions.
I
you
know,
and
I
had
a
couple
of
residents
reach
out
to
me.
Some
happened
to
be
in
the
south
end
of
urban
heights
and
they
simply
said
like
a
concrete
in
front
of
their
house.
It's
just
torn
up,
you
know,
and
then
you
have
some.
You
know
residents
that
just
they
can't
afford
to
pay
250
or
500
per
slab
or,
however
much
money
it
is.
E
Do
we
offer
anything
from
the
city?
Regarding
that
I
don't
know
if
this
is
something
we
can
discuss
on
this,
but
I
you
know,
I
told
him
that
I
would
be
reaching
out.
How
do
we
go
about
that?
What
do
we?
What.
Y
Councilman
vegan
there
will
be
a
supplement
program
me
and
engineer
alodi
we're
trying
to
develop
that
under
the
federal
grants,
supportive
grant
and
that
will
include
cdbg
include,
maybe
other
grants
that
we'll
be
receiving
from
alp,
which
we
wish.
You
know
to
maybe
also
include
in.
But
you
know
myself,
the
chief
of
staff
and
the
mayor
we're
trying
to
see
how
much
we
can
spare
from
cdbg
money
we
didn't
spend
over
the
years
and
that
will
be
coming
the
councilman
by
doing.
N
Y
Y
If
people
are
within
the
limit
of
the
income,
they
will
qualify
also,
so
whoever
in
the
area
will
qualify
automatically
whoever
outside
the
area
will
be
based
on
their
income
limitation.
So
yes,
there
will
be.
You
know
help
I'm
also
trying
to
reach
to
fifa
to
see.
If
I
can
can
also,
you
know,
give
us
some
money
also
in
the
different
area,
and
I
will
I
will
specifically
talk
to
you
about
other
venues
that
we
may
be
able
to
do
with
the
rp.
E
Y
You
know
myself
the
mayor's
office,
including
the
engineer,
the
mayor
staff.
We
opened
to
all
your
suggestions
and
I
am
suggesting
the
mayor
right
now
mayor.
If
we
can
include
mr
baedun,
I
mean
councilman
vader,
I'm
sorry
and
our
committee
for
the
sidewalk.
I
will
come
back.
E
Thank
you
so
much
to
that,
mr
director
jamal,
and
so
I'm
just
going
to
leave
with
some
final
statements.
I
ended
up
looking
at
the
map,
and
maybe
I
know
director
hashim
helped
me
out
with
this,
where
I
looked
at
some
of
the
residents
that
were
calling
about
their
sidewalks
that
needed
to
be
replaced.
It's
in
the
low
mod
area,
which
means
that
we
can
receive
grants
through
cdbg.
E
Maybe
we
can
you
know
we
can
entertain
that
avenue
to
see.
If
you
know
we
can
fix
that
whole
strip
of
that
sidewalk,
if
there's
any
money
in
there,
but
I
I
know
that,
maybe
it's
not
our
director
jamal
or
director
hashem-
can
answer
that
for
us.
Y
Yes,
councilman
they
don't.
You
are
absolutely
correct.
That
will
be
the
second
bit
going
in
front
of
you,
probably
a
couple
weeks
after
we
iron
out
myself,
engineer
director
hashim
and
the
mayor,
we'll
iron
out
how
much
money
we're
looking
in
how
much
money
we
can
scrap
out
from
the
leftover
from
over
the
years
cdbg
and
just
at
the
same
time.
You
know
we'll
we'll.
Also
by
that
time,
we'll
see
a
little
bit
more
about
we'll
know
a
little
bit
more
about
erp.
Y
So
we
can
see
if
we
can
receive
from
erp
money.
It's
gonna
be
different,
but
it's
little
bit.
You
know
expensive
than
this
bit
because
it
includes
a
lot
of
regulations.
It
includes
you
know,
prevailing
wages,
and
it
include
you
know,
so.
That's
gonna
probably
raise
the
budget
for
that
particular
program
about
20
25.
D
R
Good
evening
hustling,
yes,
the
the
the
mayor
and
myself
have
met
and
talked
about
this,
and
I
believe
that
once
we,
if
our
budget
is
approved,
we
will
look
into
which
areas
we
have
to
put
some
work
into
and
we
might
be
able
to
spare
some
money.
Yes,
we
have
discussed
this
and
like
director
jamal
and
I'm
sure
the
mayor
would
mention
would
say
that
we
are
working
on
this.
R
Most
of
these
money
are
already
allocated
to
those
departments
and
they
do
have
a
little
bit
of
time.
We
don't
press
them
on
it.
However,
when
I
met
with
the
mayor
and
I
talked
to
him,
I
said
we
can
probably
get
some
money
from
some
line
items
that
have
not
been
used
in
a
couple
of
years
and
that's
what
we're
talking
about.
R
Give
the
department's
benefit
of
the
doubt
and
let
them
work
with
the
money
that
they're
allocated
that
we
allocated
to
them.
But
we
will
come
up
working
with
mr
jamal
and
the
mayor
and
the
administration
and
and
the
council,
obviously
to
you,
know,
with
cbg
helping
out
as
much
as
possible.
Absolutely.
H
Yeah,
just
a
quick
question
from
the
mayor
of
councilman
muscat
asked
there'd
be
a
discount
on
several
sections
of
sidewalk.
I
know
back
in
our
last
program.
H
I
had
to
replace
24
sections
of
my
sidewalk
living
on
the
corner
and
I
was
charged
24
times
the
one
rate,
instead
of
giving
a
break
for
having
a
big
large
section
removed.
I
know
I've
been
in
the
construction
business
for
over
40
years.
I
know
when
you
do
one
little
section
you
charge
so
much,
but
if
you
do
a
lot
you
can
reduce
the
rate
a
little
bit.
I
hope
we
look
into
a
contractor
you'll
be
willing
to
work
with
us
on
that.
S
Mayor
so
yeah
we
can.
We
can
ask
that
and,
as
you
know,
with
a
construction
equipment
and
everything's
gone
up
in
the
last
few
months,
yeah
they
have
so
we're.
We
will
be
discussing
that
with
the
future
contract,
whoever
actually
bids
on
these
contracts.
S
We
will
make
sure
that
we'll
bring
that
up
councilman
once
all.
Thank
you.
F
Thank
you,
madam
chair
and
councilman
may
doom,
often
the
contractor,
whoever
it
is,
the
squares
on
your
sidewalk
get
marked
and
you
can
get
it
replaced
for
like
sometimes
as
low
as
60
70
dollars.
F
But
I
I
would
like
to
also
look
at
removing
trees
that
are
are
the
roots
are
pushing
the
sidewalk
up
yes
and
and
causing
it
to
be,
have
to
be
replaced.
There's
a
lot
of
residents
that
and
I'm
talking
about
trees
on
the
tree
lawn
because
they
can,
if
they
get
overgrown
and
destroy
the
concrete.
B
B
The
contractor
that
was
getting
the
people
out
for
the
estimate
went
through
about
23
and
I'm
not
kidding
23
contractors
before
someone
was
finally
able
to
do
it
and
got
paid
for
it,
and
I'm
just
throwing
it
out
there,
just
as
a
thought
based
on
the
fact
that
there's
not
many
people
doing
this
type
of
work
right
now,
because
of
pandemic
et
cetera,
et
cetera,
we're
probably
going
to
get
either
high
bids
or
maybe
very
little
bits
that
are
going
to
come
in
just
maybe
tabling
this
for
another
month
before
we
go
out
for
bids
and
keeping
the
current
contractor
in
just
until
it
opens
up
a
little
bit
where
we
can
get
hopefully
cheaper
bids
when
people
have
less
jobs
out
like
right
now,
they're
in
high
high
high
demand
and
with
that
being
the
case,
they're,
probably
going
to
bid
a
little
higher
prices.
B
S
I
I
like
the
idea,
however,
we're
in
a
if
we
go
with
where
we
were
before
we're,
in
violation
of
especially
the
letter
that
we
got
from
the
state
that
we
we
brought
to
your
attention
several
months
ago.
We
can't
do
that,
obviously,
because
we
have
to
comply
with
a
lot
of
requirements
and
we
do
have
to
go
out
for
bed
for
anybody
that
does
any
work
for
the
city.
So
I
would
like
to
do
that.
A
A
G
A
G
If
this
is
approved,
will
it
affect
the
home
at
two
four
one,
two,
seven
courier
or
will
that
be
taken
on
again
like,
as
you
said,
tuesday,
because
if
it's.
X
G
That's
the
one
that
I
brought
up
earlier
at
the
beginning
of
the
meeting
that
I
wanted
to
add
in
the
amount
of
105
000
to
this,
and
then
we
said
we
would
look
at
that
on
tuesday
at
the
at
a
study
session
or
at
a
just
a
special
meeting.
A
A
You're
welcome.
Is
there
any
further
questions
in
regards
to
this
before
we
vote
on
it,
all
those
in
favor
say:
aye
aye,
those
opposed
the
eyes
have
it.
Next
we
have
planning
commission
appointment.
We've
been
asked
to
refer
this
back
to
administration.
A
B
A
E
B
B
Just
just
want
to
make
a
little
comment
just
want
to
thank
mr
wassam
fedler
for
all
his
time
that
he's
put
into
the
planning
commission.
I
know
he's
been
on
there
for
a
few
years
and
I
know
he's
done
a
good
job
wish
him
the
best,
and
I
thank
him
and
also
I
want
to
say
mr
olivieri,
I
know
he's
a
upstanding
citizen.
I
know
he'll
do
a
great
job
on
the
planning
commission.
Thank
you.
F
G
E
Madam
chair
councilman
baedun
did
did
mr
berry
resign
and
that
we
just
appointed.
E
F
E
E
E
T
E
D
E
A
F
A
B
I
moved
to
the
general
heights
city
council
authorized
the
treasurer's
office
to
open
new
bank
accounts
for
the
restricted
funds
and
authorize
the
comptroller's
office
to
create
a
new
gl
account
for
expenditures
for
each
of
the
following
restricted
accounts,
as
outlined
in
item
9a,
and
that
would
be
american
relief
plan
act.
Tax,
administration
fees,
one
percent,
cable
reimbursement,
dispatch,
911,
reimbursements
act,
general
fund,
sanitation
act,
278
and
epa
account
support.
E
E
K
G
We
we
were
received
a
string
of
emails
today
from
the
treasurer
lisa
hicks.
Clayton
is
all
this
included
in
here,
and
I
was
trying
to
make
heads
and
tails
of
all
of
those
accounts
that
you
wanted
to
do.
Can
you
briefly
explain.
K
Yeah
well,
I
can-
and
you
can
find
this
in
the
charter
which
is
listed
here
and,
of
course
this
is
under
the
recommendation
of
the
budget
and
grants
compliance
director
as
well
as
the
compiler
is
part
of
this.
These
are
restricted
funds
that
need
to
be
separated.
It's
actually
a
best
governance
practice
to
separate
them,
because
when
it
comes
to
looking
at
revenues
and
expenditures,
we
don't
have
to
try
to
pull
them
out
of
general
fund.
K
They
have
their
own
accounts
and
it
is
separate,
and
it
actually
helps
with
the
audit
process
and
reconciliation
from
what
is
actually
in
the
bank
account
the
fun
side
versus,
what's
in
the
general
ledger
side.
So
that
should
again
be
great,
for
you
know
your
accountability,
but
also
increasing
transparency
and
making
sure
that
we're
in
compliance.
That
has
been
the
focus
of
this
whole
piece-
and
I
know
council
members
have
expressed
interest
in
that.
K
A
G
Go
ahead,
if
you
don't
mind,
can
we
briefly
hear
from
jamal
on
this
to
to
get
his
insight
on
all
of
this.
N
Again
good
afternoon,
thank
you,
madam
chair.
Responding
to
inquiry
from
councilman.
Y
Mascot,
the
separation
of
fund
and
and
opening
their
own
account,
it
doesn't
really
have
any
effect
on
the
way
we
do
business.
We
do
business
correctly.
Y
So
when
you
receive
every
month,
as
demanded
as
required
by
the
charter,
you
the
council
need
to
do
that
and
to
receive
it
you,
you
will
be
informed
totally.
Thank
you
very
much.
B
I'm
church
just
want
to
thank
the
resident
that
came
to
our
council
meetings
for
the
last
eight
nine
ten,
whatever
years
and
every
single
meeting
it
seemed.
He
asked
for
this
he's
now
our
councilman
of
the
huck.
So
thank
you
for
very
much
for
pushing
for
this,
and
I
think
it
was
a
great
idea
you
had
and
continue
to
push
for
it
and
and.
D
A
Y
Okay
to
answer
that
question
briefly,
right
now,
the
city:
do
the
administration
in
the
processing
of
the
active
45
fund,
through
its
general
ledger
and
through
the
payment
by
the
by
the
the
treasurer
of
the
city.
Remember
that
the
treasurer
of
the
city
is
at
the
same
time
the
treasurer
off
the
active45.
D
Y
Way
we
supposed
to
do
that
is
by
the
account.
Receivable
comes
to
the
controller,
the
controller
check
them
up
the
controller
post
them.
The
controller
generate
warrant
warrant
supposed
to
be
signed
by
the
controller
then
sent
to
the
mayor,
if
not
available
to
the
clerk,
then
then
sent
back
to
the
treasurer
to
be
paid
the
the
mechanics
of
the
accounting.
It's
all
kosher.
Y
We
are
in
compliance,
the
the
signature
part
of
it
who
sign
what
it
is
kind
of
questionable,
and
this
is
required,
our
corporate
attorney,
to
coordinate
with
the
active45
attorney
to
iron
out,
who
should
sign
what,
because
right
now,
some
of
the
account
being
processed
and
being
wired
by
the
by
the
treasurer
of
the
city,
which
is
I
mean
from
the
from
the
process,
point
of
view
from
the
state
treasury
charter
of
accounting.
We
are
in
full
compliance.
Y
It's
just
a
matter
of
the
signatures,
because
the
city
council
doesn't
have
nodular
rejections
over
the
act
of
45.
Actually
45
may
or
may
not
be
authorized
indirectly,
because
active45
said
you
know
that
two
two
two
board
members
must
sign.
You
know
every
penny
expenditures
expanded
by
the
active
45
that
would
be
actually
the
chief
of
the
police,
the
chief
of
the
fire
chief
then
signed
by
the
treasury,
so
actually
45
in
it.
You
know
a
nutshell:
you
always
have
a
quorum
because
it's
it's
it's
it's
five.
Y
Three
of
them
are
within
the
city,
so
it
this
is
really
not
my
my
level.
I
I'm
not
gonna
interfere
with
this.
I
let
the
cooperation
council.
We
have
a
great
cooperation
council
nominees
party,
one
of
the
best
around
same
thing.
You
know,
with
the
cope
with
the
with
the
attorney,
miss
mushad,
for
the
act
345,
I
let
them
that
iron.
I
let
them
iron
that
out
and
tell
us
how
the
process
of
the
signature
will
be
other
than
that
have
a
great
day.
D
My
my
second
question
to
the
treasure
treasure,
madam
treasurer,
somebody,
I
believe,
posted
the
drop
account
statement
for
several
people
who
are
exiting
the
program
and
it
said,
interest
rates,
five
percent
during
drop
participation,
five
and
a
half
or
half
of
market
rate
after
exit
and
drop.
D
K
Right,
so
to
answer
your
questions,
that's
one
of
the
questions
councilman
of
bellhacks
that
you
submitted
that
was
placed
on
the
ad
345
board
agenda
recently.
That
item
has
been
referred
to
their
attorney,
to
treat
it
as
a
foia.
I
cannot
answer
that
question
for
you.
As
a
trustee,
I
will
tell
you
that
it
is
not
something
that
the
treasure
has
oversight
of,
at
least
from
what
I
have
seen
since
being
in
this
office.
D
Madam
treasurer,
my
concern
is
my.
You
know
I
might
be
wrong
that
the
city
flipped
close
to
two
million
dollars
in
interest
to
the
dropper
program
and
nobody
seems
to
have
record
of
how
this
is
distributed,
except
it's
on
individual
basis,
but
who
cuts
the
checks
who
signs
him?
Do
you
sign
any
of
them?
You're
supposed.
D
I
would
like
you
please
to
follow
up
on
my
letter,
because
really
there
is
big
amount
of
money
that
taxpayers
pay
and
I
like
to
know.
You
know
how
it
is
distributed,
and
I'm
going
to
be
very
blunt
if
the
previous
administration
gave
the
key
to
the
of
the
treasury
a
way
I
would
like
you
know
to
see
that
we
can
correct
it.
This
is
our
duty.
Thank
you.
K
A
Okay,
so
at
this
time,
are
we
ready
to
vote
on
this?
E
A
J
E
Madam
chair
councilman
baidu.
Thank
you
so
much
to
our
treasurer
for
doing
this
and
not
having
people
to
come
in
on
a
sunday
but
allowing
them
coming
on
a
monday.
I
think
that's
very
high
level
of
you,
so
just
some
kudos,
I
know
we're
not
supposed
to
be
giving
compliments
or
speaking
unless
we
have
a
question,
but
I
just
want
to
shoot
that
out
there.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
F
A
E
Z
G
I
refer
this
back
to
the
administration
support.
A
G
I
moved
to
dearborn
night
city
council
approve
pay
year;
two
zero,
two
one,
two
two
zero
two
five
five
year
consolidated
plan
along
with
all
supporting
documentation,
including
prior
years,
two
zero,
two
one
through
two
zero,
two
two
cdbg
action
plan.
In
addition,
authorize
the
mayor
to
sign
the
certifications.
A
Y
A
E
Chair
chair
councilman,
they
do.
I
move
that
the
dearborn
heights
city
council
approved
change
order
number
one
in
the
amount
of
59,
943
and
63
cents
and
certificate
for
payment
number
seven
and
the
total
amount
of
three
hundred
fifty
seven
thousand
one
hundred
and
sixty
nine
dollars
and
five
cents
as
prepared
by
ray
trim
for
the
cso
cso
dash
l43
combined
source
separation
project,
as
outlined
in
9e
support.
D
Yes,
I
would
like
director
selma
to
explain
why
this
changed
order.
What's
the
justification
for
it.
C
W
So
if
you
go
to
the
change
order
itself
within
the
packet
that
was
included,
item
number
one
is
concrete.
Pavement
removal,
there's
additional
quantities
of
710
concrete,
drives
and
sidewalks
removal
additional
quantities,
some
additional
quantities
of
12-inch
pre-chlorinated
pipe
bursting
concrete
pavement
with
curbs
of
an
inch
some
additional
quantities
and
go
to
this.
The
next
page.
Then
it's
putting
those
quantities
back
in
concrete,
drives,
sidewalks
ada
ramps
unit
for
pavers,
remove
and
replace
for
pavers,
and
then
some.
D
Directors
tell
me
why
this
was
not
taken
into
account.
Is
this
something
wasn't
foreseen
when
we
bit
this
job
out.
W
That
that
is
correct.
They
they
actually
had
proposed
a
change
order
six
times
the
amount
of
that-
and
we
disagreed
with
that-
and
this
is
where
we
landed.
W
On
a
three
and
a
three
and
a
half
million
dollar
project,
59
000
in
today's
marketplace,
personally,.
H
W
So
when
we
replaced
the
part
of
this
project
was
that
we
replaced
all
the
water
mains
in
that
neighborhood
pre-pre-chlorinated
as
the
pipe
is
chlorinated
tested
for
bacterial
samples
once
those
pass,
then
we
take
a
a
burster
that
goes
into
the
old
water
main,
basically
splits
it
in
half
and
we
pull
the
new
water
main
through
now.
You.
H
Did
these
did
you
do
these
on
the
on
the
south
end
where
you
were
doing
the
lead
replacement
or
when
where'd
you
do
those
at.
I
A
J
F
Constant,
I
move
that
the
dearborn
heights
city
council
approved
the
extension
of
the
tree
trimming
contract
with
dearborn
tree
in
the
amount
of
90
000
for
the
term
from
july
1st
2021
through
june
30th
2022.
W
B
Okay,
I
had
a
question
on
on
page
two
of
the
form
of
proposal
really
not
so
much
question
really
more
of
a
concern,
and
I'm
just
wondering
if
you
can
enlighten
me
on
this.
I
didn't
notice
that
proceeding
for
tree
cutting
per
tree
on
a
12
inch
36
inch
diameter
was
750
and
a
36
inch
was
1500.
But
then,
when
you
look
at
the
emergency
price
per
tree
on
one
of
them,
it
doubled
and
now
the
other
one
they
almost
doubled
during
an
emergency.
B
And
then
when
we
look
at
tree
trimming
it
tripled
during
an
emergency
and-
and
my
concern
was
the
either
a
taking
advantage
of
an
emergency
or
b.
I
I
I
want
to
be
convinced
that
those
are
regular
or
normal
numbers.
So
I'd
like
to
get
your
sense
of
expertise
on
this,
please
because
it
seems
to
be
pretty
extreme
for
for
an
emergency,
especially
when
somebody
like
us
has
given
them,
obviously,
multiple,
multiple
jobs
throughout
the
city.
B
W
So,
and
and
again
this
was
bit
out-
this
was
the
lowest
bidder.
The
emergency
work
is,
you
know,
would
be
after
hours.
That
would
you
know,
have
that
contractor
to
call
his
people
in
mobilize,
so
those
other
factors
involved
in
that
do
we
rarely
do
use
them
on
an
emergency
basis
unless
it's
something
that's
beyond
our
scope,
we're
not
taking
a
tree
down
in
a
storm
event
in
the
middle
of
the
night,
we'll
clear,
the
road
in-house,
if
it's
too
big
for
us
to
handle
we'll
bring
them
back
in
on
straight
time.
W
W
Time
the
date.
W
B
W
G
W
W
W
H
Thank
you
yeah.
I
have
no
no
problem
in
extending
this
contract.
Yeah
dearborn
tree
does
outstanding
work.
They
did
some
work
in
my
neighborhood.
Recently
they
cleaned
up
very
professional,
no
complaints.
I
don't
know
I've
never
got
a
complaint
about
them,
but
also
I
have
no
problem
at
all
in
extending
this
contract.
A
H
A
D
This
just
madam
chair
just
councilman
about
the
delinquent
portion
of
the
of
this
budget,
who
pays
it
or
how
they
collect
it.
A
Okay,
let's
ask
tom
and
tiffa
he
is
in
here
somewhere,
I'm
looking
for
him!
U
U
E
Chair
and
if
it
just
one
question.
E
No
big
deal,
I
know
you
said
that
we
have
some
big
expenses
and
changes
coming.
Were
you
able
to
kind
of
reflect
on
that?
A
little
bit.
U
Oh
sure,
one
of
the
projects
that
we
were
asked
to
help
cover
this
coming
year
is
the
westwood
schools,
the
the
walking
track
or
the
running
track
years
ago.
Sometime
around
2010,
we
paid
to
completely
rebuild
the
track.
It
wasn't,
it
was
just
it
was
like
gravel
is
what
it
was.
So
we
put
in
a
brand
new
track.
Well,
it's
coming
time,
for
it
needs
maintenance,
so
we're
allocating
around
eighty
five
thousand
dollars
to
help
cover
the
they
have
to
scrape
off
the
top
surface
and
put
a
new
one.
U
So
that's
one
of
the
items.
Another
one
is,
as
you
know,
tifa
is
going
to
be
helping
to
pay
for
the
the
led
conversion
for
the
street
lights
in
the
within
the
tifa
district.
So
we've
allocated
money
to
help
cover
that,
and
then
we
put
some
extra
money
into
the
van
borne
project
as
things
progress,
we're
hoping
we'll
be
at
a
point
where
we
can
start
doing
some
projects
down
there
and
we'll
have
the
money
ready
and
available.
Thank
you
so
much.
F
U
Kind
of
the
the
simplest
way
I
usually
put
it
is
basically
we
we
we're
allowed
to
capture
funds
that
would
otherwise
go
to
other
places,
the
state
the
county
and
keep
them
locally
in
the
tiffa
district.
We
can.
We
invest
in
infrastructure
improvements,
economic
development
improvements.
We
have
varying
projects
over
the
years.
U
We
help
support
the
dpw
headquarters,
which
is
in
in
there,
so
we're
able
to
help
the
city
that
way
too
by
using
that
money
to
help
say,
like
recently,
we
helped
pay
for
the
security
and
fire
system
that
needed
to
be
installed
in
there.
So
that
way,
the
city
can
use
their
money
on
other
projects.
C
D
U
A
A
T
Actually,
I
was
going
to
address
another
issue.
I'm
sorry,
council
chair,
it's
understanding
that
the
zoning
map
actually
needs
to
be
changed
and
that
the
zoning
ordinance
should
be
changed
as
well,
and
so
actually,
your
motion
probably
should
be
to
refer
this
to
myself
and
or
see
chris
wardle.
I
would
have
them
do
it
since
they've
been
attending
these
meetings
to
prepare
the
appropriate
ordinance
for
adoption
by
the
by
the
council.
Thank
you.
A
I
just
wanted
to
briefly
say:
we
did
bring
that
the
attention
corporation
council
of
director
wetland,
and
he
said
it
was
just
changing
it
back
to
an
old.
A
A
B
G
H
C
T
My
understanding
is
is
that
it
would
allow
for
some
use
or
development,
but
the
specific
development
would
probably
be
best
addressed
by
ms
zamet,
if
she's
in
the
meeting,
since
she
would
be
very
familiar
with
this,
but
I
don't
know
exactly
what
the
the
change
was
and
vision
to
do.
I'm.
B
Until
you
find
her
I'll,
just
give
a
little
clarification
in
regards
to
the
zoning,
the
one
that
it's
going
from
is
cx,
which
is
commercial,
residential,
mixed
use,
district,
okay
and
the
one
that's
going
to
is
general
business
district,
and
I
guess
what's
most
important
is
what's
going
to,
and
I
could
read
you
guys
about
three
sentences
that
kind
of
describes
it.
If
you'd
like
me
to.
B
B
Careful
planning
is
required
to
integrate
general
business
districts
with
adjacent
areas
of
less
intensive
uses.
I
do
want
to
point
out
that
in
general,
the
the
zoning
that
it's
going
to
is
more
auto,
but
I
do
want
to
point
out-
and
let's
not
forget
that,
for
years
and
years
and
years
there
was
always
a
gas
station,
so
it
was
already
in
the
auto
now
they
may
have
kind
of.
I
don't
know.
I
don't
know
what
happened
way
back
when
you
know
80
years
ago
when
they
built
it.
B
But
I'm
just
saying
it
was
always
auto
for
a
long
time
until
that
gas
station
was
torn
down
and
this
particular
ordinance,
I'm
sorry
not
ordnance
motion
is
directly
tied
as
well
I'll
point
out
to
everybody
to
9j
or
that
yeah
9j
correct,
9j,
yep
9j,
and
it
is
directly
tied
to
the
original
one
that
originally
presented,
which
would
have
been
5b.
These
are
all
interconnected,
which
is
the
corner
of
warren
avenue
and
telegraph
south
west
corner
directly
across
from
tim
hortons.
Thank
you.
H
Yeah
being
I
was
on
the
planet,
commissioner,
for
like
15
years
and
the
the
referral
to
more
autumn
automotive-
that's
just
the
traffic,
it's
not
it's,
not
necessarily
the
the
type
of
business
that
goes
there.
Just
it's
that
type
of
business
in
a
in
a
c2
tends
to
generate
more
more
traffic
than
than
the
cx
cx
is
like
you
could
have
a
store
with
a
little
apartment.
H
Above
it
type
thing,
it's
a
mixed
use
and
they
say
it's
not
necessarily
an
automotive
like
for
a
used
car
lot
or
gas
stations.
It's
just.
It
generates
automotive,
automobile
traffic,
more.
A
B
Where
that's,
where
that
one
particular
sentence
is,
it
uses
usually
generates
larger
volumes
of
of
auto
traffic
and
typically
require
a
greater
off
street
parking
and
loading
areas.
So
the
councilman
is
correct.
Thank.
J
B
B
Vacate
it
now
whatever,
but
right
directly
behind
where
the
gas
station
was
and
then,
after
that
there
was
a
residential
home
which
has
been
torn
down.
It's
a
flat
vacant
land
at
this
particular
point.
Not
that
I'm
saying
this
particular
motion
is
not
for
all
three,
but
I
just
wanted
to
point
out
to
connect
the
dots
that
those
three
different
motions
are
all
for
the
same
area,
at
least
not
not
same
lot,
but
the
same
parts
they're
all
connected
well,
they're,
not
they're,
three
different
persons,
but
they're
all
well.
B
A
A
AA
Like
to
yes,
I'd
like
to
say
good
evening
to
all
of
you,
I
own
both
parcels.
My
name
is
ziad
nasser.
I
reside
in
northville
michigan
county
of
wayne,
so
I
own
two
four
zero
three
five
warren
and
I
own
the
parcel
which
would
be
next
on
your
agenda,
the
7018
neighbor,
and
to
answer
councilman
musket's
question
specifically,
we
are,
our
intentions
are
to
put
a
gas
station
up
there.
D
E
E
A
E
G
No,
that
was
he.
The
gentleman
from
iz
properties
answered
a
question
of
what
was
going
to
be
built
there
and
I'm
looking
forward
to
pumping
some
gas.
F
Thank
you,
madam
chair,
and
actually
yeah
about
15
years
ago
I
had
was
involved
in
some
litigation
which,
with
the
station
that
was,
there
was
a
carl
knight
station
and
I
don't
think
he's
in
business
anymore,
but
the
there
was
a
total
station
where
the
tim
hortons
is,
and
I
believe
owned
by
a
member
of
the
turfy
family
that
was
developed
into
the
tim
hortons,
so
that
corner
would
make
an
excellent
location
for
a
gas
station
hope
to
see
it
developed
and
and
on
the
tax
rolls.
I.
B
So,
okay,
so
let
me
let
me
just
state
this
again
here:
I'm
making
a
motion
on
9i
to
refer
the
resulting
of
two
four
zero
four
five
warren
avenue
from
cx
to
c2,
back
to
our
council
with
seacrest
and
mortal
support.
A
G
A
Thank
you
any
questions
directly
related
to
this.
All
those
in
favor
say
aye
aye,
those
opposed
the
eyes
have
it
next
item
on
the
agenda
we're
under
ordinances
and
resolutions.
This
is
mayor
bazi,
second
reading
of
proposed
ordinance,
h-21-01
establishment
of
the
e-course
creek
commission,
councilman.
E
E
I'm
sorry
for
its
commission
terms
and
administrative
support,
defending
its
defining
its
purpose,
duties
and
responsibilities
and
regulating
its
meetings,
be
its
ordinance
by
the
city
council
of
the
city
of
dearborn
heights
that
the
code
of
ordinance
of
the
city
of
dearborn
heights
michigan
is
is
hereby
amended
by
adding
divisions.
Seven
under
chapter
two
article
five.
I
think
that
I
know
that's
six,
as
well
as
by
adding
a
section
to
be
number
numbered,
2-593,
be
considered
ready
for
the
second
time
and
become
effective
upon
publication,
as
outlined
in
11-a
support.
E
This
going
to
be
a
commission
that
the
administration
and
the
marin
is
putting
together
for
for
the
e-course
creek.
Is
this
what
we're
doing
right
now.
S
Yeah,
this
is
the
one
we
discussed
at
the
first
reading
two
weeks
ago,
and
it
is
that's
going
to
be.
Basically
we
we
wanted
to
make
sure
we
put
a
commission
since
there's
a
lot
of
things,
a
lot
of
discussions
right
now
with
our
congressional
delegates
about
the
funding
for
the
e-course
creek.
S
You
know
I
talked
at
the
last
meeting
that
there's
two
funding
that
we're
going
after
one
there's
a
cleanup
funding
and
the
second
one
there's
actually
it's
more
expensive,
so
that's
gonna
be
hard
to
get
the
second
funding
which
is
trying
to
widen
it.
You
know
deep
in
that.
S
You
know
dredge
it
all
kinds
of
work,
so
that's
the
one
that's
gonna
be
entails
army
corps
of
engineers,
so
what
we
wanted
to
do
is
get
actually
establish
the
the
excuse
me
the
ordinance,
so
we
can
get
people
that
are
affected
by
this
by
the
flooding
to
be
the
eyes
and
ears.
You
know
to
be
in
just
pretty
much
the
liaison
between
the
administration
and
the
residents
and
also
the
congressional
delegates.
That's
amazing.
A
Actually,
I
have
hassan
director
jamal
also
would
like
to
chime
in
on
that
go
ahead,
sir.
Y
Y
That's
a
long
shot,
but
you
know
the
mayor
forwarded
that
request
from
senator
peters.
To
me
I
did,
you
know
populate
that
to
the
department,
so
the
equals
creek
one
of
the
projects.
I
did
ask
the
department
of
public
work.
You
know
to
to
work
on
it
for
a
little
bit,
and
so
we
can
submit
a
combined
combined
project
proposal
to
the
senator
through
the
mayor.
Y
One
of
the
other
ones
is
lieutenant
lisa
martin
working
also
on
the
dealing
with
the
fire
station
on
the
beach
daily
and
ford
road,
with
engineer,
ali
and
and
myself
to
to
present
also
that
particular
project
hoping
that
we
can
get
some
funding
through
the
upper
senate
appropriation
to
you
know
center
peter
those
are
different
than
the
apr.
Those
are
separate.
Y
You
know
thank
you,
mayor
for
forwarding
that
I,
I
guess
you'll
forget
the
hat,
but
you
know
I
I'm
ready
to
make
sure
everybody
know
that
so
please
directors,
you
know,
answer
answer
that
particular
email
and
give
us
the
project
you
you'd
like
to
include.
Thank
you.
A
Thank
you.
Next,
I
have
councilman
abdul
hart.
D
I
hope
he
includes
councilman
constant
and
councilman
winslow
on
this
commission,
because
they
know
probably
more
than
lots
of
people
about
this
issue
and
thank
you,
maya
for
bringing
this
forward.
A
B
I
move
that
the
dearborn
heights
city
council
move
that
proposed
ordinance
number
h-21-02,
an
ordinance
of
the
city
of
dublin
heights,
establishing
a
commission
on
business,
providing
for
its
composition,
terms
and
administrative
support,
defining
its
purpose,
duties
and
responsibilities
and
regulating
its
meetings
via
ordinane.
I'm
sorry
be
it
ordained
by
the
city
council
of
the
city
of
dearborn
heights
that
the
code
of
ordinances
of
the
city
of
dublin
heights
michigan
is
hereby
amended
by
adding
division.
D
Yeah
I
want
to
thank
the
mayor
for,
for
the
first
time,
he's
bringing
this
kind
of
commission,
because
the
city
needs
to
expand
the
tax
base.
We
need
to
attract
more
businesses
into
our
city,
and
you
know.
I
hope
that
the
appointees
will
be
business,
oriented
people.
A
Thank
you
any
further
questions
before
we
vote
on
this,
all
those
in
favor
say:
aye
aye,
those
opposed
the
eyes
have
it.
Next
we
have
mayor
bassey,
first
reading
a
proposed
ordinance
h-21-03.
This
is
amendment
to
chapter
7,
building
and
building
regulations.
Council,
chair,
councilman,
muscat,
remove.

Support.
H
A
F
D
D
I
know
I
really
have
been
to
all
these
places
and
I
really
encourage
our
residents
to
support
our
local
businesses.
Those
are
good
businesses,
good
food,
good
locations
and
they
are
safe.
I
hope
the
residents
support
them.
A
H
H
It
was
I
like
to
give
kudos
out
to
a
watershed:
steward
commission,
chair
person,
barb
gorka
for
doing
a
great
job,
dana
johns
from
the
crestwood
high
school
and
organizing
all
the
youth,
the
students
from
crestwood
that
attended,
probably
about
50
or
so
kids,
showed
up
mayor
bill
bozzi
and
his
wife
nadia,
pitched
in
denise,
malinowski,
maxwell,
council,
chair
and
mayoral
candidate,
tony
camilleri,
great
great
worker,
also
a
mayoral
candidate.
H
Also
a
fellow
councilman
and
fellow
washington
steward
commissioner
bob
constant
and
our
city,
treasurer
lisa,
hicks
clayton
showed
up.
We
had
rachel
lapointe
and
nancy
breyer
council
candidates
for
city
council
this
this
coming
election.
H
H
Kurt
whitmore
from
the
the
dpw
came
in
great
job
hassan
jamal,
john
zadekian,
claire
gerard
and
tony
sterlini,
and
a
special
thank
you
to
all
the
our
honorary
council,
honorary
commission,
washington
steward
commissioners
from
crestwood
high
school,
been
with
us
for
several
years,
four
or
five
years,
some
of
them.
This
was
their
last
year
going
on
to
college.
Most
of
them
we're
gonna,
miss
them
great
great
workforce.
H
Special
super
super
turnout.
We
had
a
great
time
and
quickly
I'd
like
to
thank
our
sponsors.
We
have
studs
hardware
mayor
bill,
bozzi,
dearborn,
heist,
firefighters,
local
1355.,
deborah
knight's,
tiffa,
board,
wade,
trim,
dnl
garden,
lisa,
hicks
clayton
treasurer.
We
had
cordy's
collision
elite
sports
training,
vip
car
wash
plant
moran.
H
B
Manchester's
question
is
for
the
administration,
the
mayor's
department.
So
first
of
all,
I
have
a
concern
specifically
the
vanborn
corridor,
and
I
want
to
start
with
this.
This
is
no
reflection
on
on
on
the
current
mayor,
or
god
rest,
his
soul,
the
previous
male
mayor,
but
I
do
know
that
we've
had
multiple
meetings
on
this.
S
Thank
you
for
that
question.
Council
chair
pro
tem,
so
what
happened?
Late,
late,
okay,
so
recently,
we've
had
obviously
we've
had
several
meetings.
Since
I've
been
appointed
to
this
position,
we've
had
we
had
a
meeting
about
two
weeks
ago.
Again,
you
know
we're
meeting
with
the
folks
from
taylor
and
wade
trim
and
the
latest
is
we
had.
Actually
we
were
brainstorming
ideas.
S
You
know
on
the
ordinance,
so
the
first
thing
we
have
to
do
is
we
have
to
incorporate
an
ordinance
for
the
van
borne
cord
or
before
we
do
anything
on
the
street.
So
we
there
was
a
few
communities
where
a
few
communities
were
looked
at.
You
know,
so
we
looked
at
some
other,
like
best
practices.
You
know
we're
benchmarking.
You
know
the
best
ordinance
and
we
have
actually
a
draft
copy
that
we
we
reviewed
at
the
last
meeting.
S
Our
building
director,
mr
deeb,
was
involved
with
that
meeting
and
mr
selmy
was
involved
and
also
the
the
taylor
team
was
was
as
well.
You
know
they
were,
they
were
in
a
meeting,
they
had
also
their
building
department,
their
dpw
and
also
again,
you
know
way-
trim
was
kind
of
the
mediator.
You
know
going
through
the
process,
so
they
do
have
a
proposed
ordinance,
but
it
still
needs
a
little
bit
of
tweaking.
S
So
before
we
do
anything,
you
know.
Obviously
you
know
we
have
to
make
sure
that
it's
it's
done
and
we
will
bring
it
to
your
attention
once
it's
approved.
You
know
we
go
through
all
the
iterations
make
sure
that
it's
we
could
be
presented
to
the
console
both
taylor
and
dearborn
heights.
S
No,
I
I
do
agree
with
you,
council,
chair,
potem
and,
as
like,
I
said,
the
several.
The
three
meetings
that
we've
had
already
they've
been
very
productive
and
a
lot
of
information
was
shared
and
it
looks
very
positive.
So
we
have
to
the
phase.
One
is
try
to
get
the
ordinance
done
and
it's
taylor
is
very
excited
about
the
project
and
we're
excited-
and
I
know
tiffa
folks
are
also
excited
so
we'll
we'll
keep
you
updated.
You
know
once
we
get
the
ordinance
you
know
before
we
present
it.
B
So
if
you
had
to
guess
today
see
I
always
like
to
take
things
from
a
resident's
perspective.
So
if
I
was
joel
resident
living
a
block
away
from
vampore,
when
can
I
expect
to
start
to
see
visually,
not
meetings,
not
drafting,
not
pictures,
not
drawings,
not
nothing,
just
visually.
If
I
drive
on
vanborn,
when
can
I
start
to
see
work
being
started,
and
you
may
not
be
the
one
that
may
be
able
to
answer?
I'm
not
sure,
but
what
do
you
think
I
might
at
least
have
a
chance
of
seeing
work
started.
Actual
work
started.
S
Yeah
well,
the
first
first
phase
is
the
ordinance.
You
know
we
have
to
make
sure
that
we
have
an
ordinance
in
place
so
for
any
any
business
that
actually
starts.
We
we
bring
any
businesses
on
or
future
businesses.
We
have
to
make
sure
we
have
a
proper
ordinance.
That
you
know
is
is
very
lengthy.
You
know
I
mean
there.
There
was
so
it's
very
extensive.
You
know
what
the
amount
of
information
that
was
in
it
and,
again
again,
you
know
it's
like
a
lot
of
best
practices
that
were
incorporated
into
the
ordinance.
S
So
I'm
hoping
you
know
once
we
get
it
done,
then
any
future
businesses
that
come
to
the
area.
It's
I
mean,
I'm
I'm,
I'm
very
optimistic.
I
have
a
great
feeling
that
a
lot
of
businesses
it
would
be
excited.
You
know
when
they
see
what
we
have
to
present
and
they're
going
to
want.
You
know
a
lot
of
investors
will
actually
want
to
come
into
a
vanborn,
but.
S
S
Well,
let's,
let's
see
what
what
happens
with
the
ordinance
first,
you
know
that's
the
phase
one,
then,
the
other
phase
that
we
have
to
move
into
is
with
the
funding
to
see
what
funding
that
we
need
for,
as,
as
you
know,
you
and
I
seen
several
years
ago
with
the
different
phases,
so
that
has
to
be
brought
back
to
the
agenda
and
we
have
to
discuss
that.
You
know
to
see
what
phase
or
what
projects
we
want
to
actually
pursue.
So
that
would
depend
on
the
council.
A
S
For
sure,
mr
deep,
because
he's
been
part
of
that
he's,
having
he's
been
having
extensive
and
he's
the
city
engineer
so
I'd
rather,
you
know.
A
V
Go
ahead,
please!
Yes!
Thank
you!
Thank
you.
Ma'am.
As
the
mayor
indicated,
this
is
this
is
going
to
be
a
gradual
councilman
pro
tem
abdullah,
it's
not
going
to
be
we're
not
going
to
demo
anything.
It's
going
to
be
gradual.
So
once
the
ordinances
are
adopted
by
the
communities
and
we're
going
to
gradually
move
into
the
new
standards,
so
the
project
is
called
van
borne
overlay.
V
The
changes
will
be
very
visible.
So
in
terms
of
putting
time
time
limit
on
this,
we're
going
to
bring
back
the
ordinances
to
you
for
approval
and
and
taylor
will
do
the
same
thing
and
then,
once
that's
adopted,
we
you'll
start
seeing
results
immediately.
So
processes
will
have
that
as
a
condition.
The
new
businesses
will
have
that
on
their
approval
and
then
design
reviews
we'll
take
that
into
account.
Okay,.
B
V
So
if
we
adopt
the
ordinance
this
year
say
in
two
months,
then
it
will
go
to
the
building
departments
of
both
communities
and
then
the
results
will
be
immediate,
because
anytime,
someone
pulls
a
permit
for
for
renovation
or
new
construction.
The
new
standards
will
apply
immediately,
so
the
short
answer
will
be
yes,
okay,
thank
you.
You're
welcome.
G
Yes,
I'm
I'm
going
to
speak
again
about
blight
in
the
city
and
it's
getting
to
be
pretty
bad
out
there,
and
while
I
I
say
that
I'm
just
wondering
if
corporation
council
gary
miyake
can
give
me
a
rundown
on.
Why
does
it
take
so
long
from
the
time
a
complaint
is
registered
to
the
time
someone
actually
pays
a
fine
or
has
to
clean
up
their
product?
Why
does
it
take
so
long?
I'm
constantly
speaking
with
you
know,
ordinance
department.
G
G
T
Well,
councilman,
I
frankly,
some
of
these
issues
are
handled
actually
rather
quickly,
many
of
them,
but
the
difficulty
is
is
that
if
someone's
going
to
contest
something
or
if
we
have
a
situation
where
there
is
a
particular
difficulty,
for
example,
we
had
an
issue
with
someone
who
is
disabled.
T
T
So
this
you
know,
that's,
perhaps
not
the
best
example,
but
it
is
an
example
of
why
things
can
end
up
being
delayed
in
terms
of
going
over
to
court,
because
we
are
trying
to
be
reasonable
and
fair
with
all
these
individuals,
because
the
people
who
are
affected
are
residents,
and
typically,
that
includes
people
who
are
given
a
citation
and
the
court.
T
The
judges
are
very
aware
of
that
as
well.
If
it's
just
a
matter
of
a
fine
and
someone
wants
to
contest
something
at
this
point,
we
have
been
very
limited
in
terms
of
hearings.
We've
actually
ended
up.
The
court
might
believe
that
it's
fine
at
this
point,
but
we
haven't
been
able
to
conduct
in-person
hearings
in
over
a
year.
T
So
if
we
do
hearings,
they
can
end
up
being
done
electronically,
but
the
court
only
started
doing
that
more
recently
like
since
about
the
beginning
of
the
year.
Meanwhile,
you
have
all
the
other
violations
that
ended
up
being
issued
so
councilman.
I
hope
that
helps
somewhat,
and
certainly
you
have
my
number
and
if
you
have
a
particular
issue,
I
will
follow
up
on
it,
or
mr
roberts
or
ms
hill
from
mr
robert's
office
will
follow
up
as
well.
We
certainly
contacting.
G
You,
mr
miyagi,
because
you
know
we
we
spoke
about
one
particular
one
and
it
still
hasn't
been
resolved.
Yet
this
is
going
on
for
over
a
year
and
all
it
is,
is
a
junk
car
sitting
on
city
property.
This
is
so
blatant.
It's
not
even
an
unlicensed
junk
car.
Okay
and
to
me
a
tow
truck
pull
it
out
of
there
see
you
in
court,
bye,
okay,.
T
G
Will
give
you
a
call
on
that?
If
you
don't
mind,
sir,
and
with
permission
from
council
chair,
you
have
my
permission
and
so
that
way
we
can
cover
any
any
legal
fees
that
may
acquire.
If
you
don't
mind,
sir.
A
G
And
one
other
item:
you
know
we're
at
that
time
of
year,
where
we
always
bring
this
up
again.
The
fireworks
issue
they're
already
starting
and
I
know
chief
myers-
is
in
the
audience
and
every
year
I
asked
the
police
department
to
put
everybody
all
hands
on
deck
and
get
more
patrol
vehicles
out
to
me.
G
If
I
know
where
they're
coming
from
it
should
be
pretty
easy
for
a
police
car,
that's
that's
patrolling
a
neighborhood
or
an
area
to
see
where
they're
coming
from
and
do
their
due
diligence
and
and
start
enforcing
the
law
as
it's
written.
G
Many
of
us
are
just
done
with
this
situation
and-
and
I
know
their
hands
are
tied
a
little
bit
because
of
the
state
allowing
this
to
happen,
but
we
do
have
laws
on
it
of
when
it
can
be
done
and
how
long
it
can
be
done.
I
want
dell's,
ordinance
and
laws
enforced
to
the
fullest
okay
and
we
can't
do
it
without
the
police
department
going
a
hundred
percent
out
for
it
and
so
I'll
I'll
speak
later
about
another
issue
at
comments
from
citizens.
Thank
you.
D
Man,
I'm
just
tweeting
how
many
times
they
going
to
speak
anyway.
I
I
agree
with
council
protam
abdullah
on
vanborn.
I
think
we
should
be
created
as
city.
Maybe
we
give
tax
abatement
to
some
businesses
if
they
come
and
buy
properties,
five
years,
tax
abatement
or
10
years
every
other
years.
You
know
they
don't
pay,
so
we
can
attract
some
business
small
businesses
to
come
and
start
reviving.
That
area.
D
D
You
know
for
a
few
seconds
for
people
to
make
turns
and
some
people
they
just
keep
going
through.
You
know,
yellow
and
several
accidents
happen.
I
want
to
see
if
our
police
department
can
contact
somebody
either
the
county
or
the
state,
so
we
can
put
some
left
or
right
signals
there
for
the
people
who
want
to
make
turns
and
the
last
thing
the
charter
mother
mature.
You
are
the
champion
of
the
charter,
we
always
the
last
three
years
you
and
I
and
everybody
on
the
city
council,
including
the
mayor.
D
We
agreed
on
review
the
charter,
and
it
is,
I
spoke
to
the
mayor,
I
think
yesterday
and
I
spoke
to
you
and
you
did
not
object
that
we
should
start
asking
our
legal
counsel.
Mr
mayatki,
that's
in
your
lap
now,
if
he
can
start
on
a
plan,
please
within
the
next
30
days,
to
guide
us
how
to
start
reviewing
our
charter
and
the
reason
I'm
saying
this.
D
D
A
T
If,
if
I
may,
there
are
two
things,
the
the
scope
of
the
amendment
is
what
basically
ends
up
determining.
What
you
need
to
do
so
part
of
it
is,
is
learning
what
it
is
that
you,
as
a
body
would
like
us
to
look
at
if
it
comes
down
to
just
an
amendment,
a
change
in
something
that
doesn't
have
an
effect
on
the
character
of
the
municipal
government.
T
And
that
means
you
have
to
have
a
charter
revision
commission,
which
is
not
composed
of
city
council
members
or
any
elected
officials.
There
are
actually
people
who
are
chosen
by
a
vote
of
the
residents,
so
I
my
recommendation
would
be
to
end
up
actually
having
a
study
session,
which
I
would
attend
and
finding
out
what
the
feelings
are.
D
D
T
P
A
Yeah,
let's
discuss
when
we
can
fit
that
in
because
we've
got
a
study
session
already
next
tuesday
and
I
don't
think
that's
anything
we
want
to
add
to.
H
A
H
Yeah
that
that
you
know
I
mean
the
dedicated
entire
meeting
to
instead
of
having.
A
F
Thank
you,
madam
chair.
This
monday,
we'll
celebrate
memorial
day
which
commemorates
our
men
and
women
who
died
in
military
service
to
our
country,
particularly
those
who
died
in
battle
as
a
result
of
wounds.
The
purpose
of
memorial
day
is
to
memorialize
those
veterans
that
gave
the
ultimate
sacrifice.
F
So
I'm
sure
everyone
will
keep
that
in
mind
as
we
enjoy
a
hopefully
fairly
warm
and
long
three-day
weekend.
I
want
to
thank
councilman
abdullah
for
bringing
up
the
vanborn
corridor.
I
was
at
a
function
with
alex
garcia,
the
state
rep
and
candidate
for
mayor
in
taylor.
The
current
mayor
was
not
placed
on
the
ballot
because
he
had
some
campaign.
F
Finance
violations
and
a
second
candidate
may
also
not
be
on
the
ballot,
so
it
looks
like
it
will
be:
alex
garcia's,
the
next
mayor
and
he's
very
interested
in
developing
the
vanborn
corridor.
F
The
big
issue
with
the
vanborn
corridor
is
going
to
be
the
funding
for
some
of
the
improvements
like
the
course
pavement
and
so
forth,
but
really
look
forward
to
working
with
the
council
and
the
mayor
and
council
in
taylor
on
the
vanborn
corridor.
S
Thank
you.
I
also
want
to
recognize
this
weekend
the
memorial
day
weekend,
and
you
know
for
the
for
the
veterans
that
paid
the
ultimate
sacrifice,
and
I
know
for
the
last
several
years
we
partnered
with
first
responders
to
also
pay
respect
to
the
first
responders
that
also
died
in
the
line
of
duty
and
which
you
know
with
corporal
jason
mccaskey,
one
of
them
from
from
here
from
from
our
city.
S
S
I
wanna
also
give
shout
out
for
our
budget
team.
They
actually
work
tirelessly
to
get
this
budget.
You
know
when
we
came
came
into
to
this
office.
The
budget
was
a
was
a
mess
and
we
continue
continuously
working
on
a
budget.
S
S
I
mean
there's
there's
a
bunch,
but
the
big
one
was
a
three
million
dollars
that
we
were
the
the
payments
were
being
deferred
for
for
a
long
time
and
finally,
we
had
to
actually
come
up
with
paying
the
money
to
three
million
dollars.
So
I
want
to
thank
our
budget
team
director,
elizabeth
perry,
our
director
jawad
director
zimao,
and
also
our
chief
of
staff
mariana,
and
also
our
deputy
comptroller
shantae,
for
tirelessly
working
around
for
long
long
hours,
even
on
the
weekends
to
get
this
budget
you
know
finished.
Thank
you
so
much.
S
Today
I
found
out
that
she
submitted
by
the
fema
grants
for
2.5
million
dollars
that
we
were
supposed
to
get
in
grant
money,
that
she
did
a
great
job
in
submitting
the
paperwork
and
they
actually
commended
her
for
the
the
way
that
she
submitted.
The
everything
was
complete
and
we
expect
expect
to
get
some
of
the
funding
sometime
in
the
fall.
So
thank
you
lieutenant
martin
for
always
going
way
and
above.
A
Okay,
are
you
down
there?
Yes,
thank
you.
Okay
thanks.
I
wasn't
sure
I
have
a
question
back
when
I
was
inter
mayor.
We
had
a
lot
of
leaking
in
city
hall
with
the
roof,
and
I
know
back
on
december
8th.
A
We
voted
to
replace
the
city
hall
roof
and
I
haven't
seen
any
work
start
yet,
and
I
wondered
what
kind
of
schedule
we
have
for
that
because
I
know
when
I
was
there,
it
was
leaking
on
copiers
and
other
office
equipment,
and
I
know
we're
really
stretched
thin
on
that
roof
mayor.
Can
you
tell
me
when
they'll
be
starting
that
work
we
had
given
it
to?
It
looks
like
advanced
roofing,
incorporated.
S
So
we
actually
put
we
we
put
a
hold
on
that
first
for
for
a
short
time,
you
know
with
a
clovet
and
a
budgeting
again,
we
wanted
to
see
you
know
with.
You
know
how
much
money
we
have
left
over
with
with
revenue
loss
and
everything
else,
and
but
right
with
assessing
everything
right
now
with
the
current
budget.
You
know
we,
I
know
director
xiaomi
and
I
discussed
it
about
three
weeks
ago
or
so
so
we
asked
that
you
know
they
put
us
in
a
queue
to
do
the
roof.
A
Is
good
because
I
know
prices
of
materials
are
going
up
and
I
you
know
that's
good
to
know
that
we
still
have
the
contract
with
them
and
they're
still
going
to
honor
it.
So
you
don't
do
you
have
any
estimated
date
when
we'll
be
doing
it.
S
A
Next,
I
have
director
hassan
jamal.
Oh
wait
a
minute.
Wait
a
minute
wait
a
minute!
Everybody
only
gets
to
speak
once
councilman.
Sorry,
I
just
wanted
to
say
something
about.
A
A
Y
Okay,
I
will
yield
some
of
my
time
as
much
time
as
council
man,
tom
winston
need,
go
ahead.
Tom,
okay,.
A
A
Y
Back
in
2005
this,
you
know
talk
about
the
van
bond
corridor.
We
tried
that
back.
We
started
that
myself.
Late
may
platko
fred
zone
director
zone
now
is
the
manager
city
manager
for
southfield
and
mayor
griebe.
Y
We
we
had
a
lot
of
meeting
with
basco
at
that
time.
I'd
like
all
of
you
to
know
that,
usually
we
we
do
root,
cause
analysis,
so
we
know
what's
the
problem,
please
all
of
you,
a
public
official
resident
in
that
area.
A
lot
of
my
friend
the
issue
over
there
is
a
flawed.
Y
The
area
over
there
will
flourish
by
itself
when
the
flood
issue
of
the
ecosystem
is
done,
which
is
which
is,
which
is
the
third
time
need
to
have
a
basin
and
try
to
control
the
flood
of
that
particular
right
now
we
call
it
creek
it's
a
drain.
It
used
to
be
a
river
under
the
fed
it
developed
over
the
time
to
become
a
drain
under
the
county
during
commission.
Y
So
please,
if
anybody
really
like
to
help
that
area,
please
help
us
the
new
commission,
the
e-course
creek
commission,
to
really
try
to
push
the
basin
area.
Like
the
you
know,
call
of
engineers
that
that
area
will
flourish.
Naturally,
by
itself,
we
did
try
to
push
the
wall
in
business
that
I'm
sure
back
in
2006.
Y
It
was
a
great
effort
to
push
the
warren
business
district
about
17
meetings
in
my
office.
When
I
was
with
the
city
we
we
ended
up
actually
almost
almost
approved
to
levy
taxes,
to
clean
that
that
particular
we
failed
when
the
people
decided
that
that
area
support
their
businesses
now
the
properties
over
there
are,
I
don't
know,
maybe
tenfold-
please
focus
on
them,
born
above
the
flood.
Y
Y
We
had
the
opportunity
to
force
the
county
to
levy
taxes
on
the
involved
community
and
we
drop
the
ball
and
we
let
it
go
and
we
focus
on
grant
from
the
fed
it's
a
great
area,
it's
a
great,
a
great
opportunity
to
get
federer
grant,
but
it
is
really
the
responsibility
of
the
drain
commission
of
wayne
county
to
resolve
this
issue.
It's
too
much
money
trying
to
get
money
from
the
count
from
the
fed,
excellent
and
right
now
we
have
an
opportunity
to
submit
that
project
to
the
the
the
our
senator
peters
to
see.
Y
Maybe
maybe
he
can
push
that
within
descent
appropriation
all
together.
We
need
to
work.
So
I
am
very
happy
and
very
very
fortunate
to
to
to
actually
see
the
mayor
moving
on
with
this
e-course
creek-
and
we
have
a
lot
of
you
know
very
solid
people
who
knows
the
area
there.
They
know
what's
needed
to
be
done.
A
lot
of
resident
who
works.
There
worked
very
hard
on
that
particular
issue
and
I
promise
all
of
you
I'm
going
to
be
the
ex-official
for
that
eco-script.
Y
You
may
already
ask
me:
I
will
I
will
personally
you
know
from
the
misery
I've
seen
that
area
I'll.
I
will
do
whatever
I
can
to
propel
this
particular
project
and
not
only
take
the
people
from
their
home
and
give
it
up
to
be
a
land
deeded
to
fema.
I
will
help
actually
resolve
the
flood
issue.
It's
a
different
issue,
build
that
particular
you
know
wetland
over
there
basin
and
the
houses
over
there
will
be
triple
the
prices
and
the
businesses
will
be
flooding
to
that
area.
You
can't
even
buy
property
later
on.
Y
T
Just
very
briefly,
I
just
wanted
to
note
that
the
way
in
which
the
county
would
end
up
funding
such
a
project
would
be
to
impose
assessments
on
the
whole
watershed,
but
primarily
those
areas
that
would
be
receiving
the
greatest
amount
of
improvements,
and
that
would
mean
that
our
residents
would
end
up
bearing
the
greatest
cost
without
there
being
federal
assistance
and
federal
funding,
and
that's
one
of
the
reasons
why
that
has
been
pursued
since
we
ended
up
receiving
and
obtaining
and
negotiating
the
consent
judgment.
Thank
you.
J
O
Wanted
to
inform
that
we
are
open
to
full
building
grab
and
go
at
both
libraries.
Full
building,
browsing
computer
use,
study
rooms
and
limited
meeting
room
use
will
be
available.
O
Social
distancing,
screening
and
masks
are
still
required
and
will
be
enforced
in
future
weeks,
we'll
be
looking
to
expand
hours
close
to
pre-pandemic
level,
including
nights
and
then
further
expand
services
from
there.
I
also
wanted
to
remind
residents
that,
if
you're
hesitant
to
leave
your
house
for
pickup,
our
delivery
service
is
up
and
running.
If
you
have
a
hold,
you
can
call
us
at
313-791-3800
at
carolyn,
kennedy,
library
or
313-791-6050
at
john
f
kennedy,
junior
library,
and
we
will
bring
it
to
you.
O
E
A
I
wait.
This
is
community,
I'm
trying
to
keep
them.
Everybody
separate
anything
like
nancy
breyer,
usually
announces
the
meetings
at
the
south
end
all
right.
E
Oh,
you
know
what
I
know
that
it's
going
to
be
a
memorial
day.
I
just
want
to
wish
everybody
a
happy
memorial
day
and
you
know
just
giving
you
know
my
appreciation
and
my
blessings
to
all
those
who
served
who
were
wounded
or
hurt.
I
mean
on
the
time
of
battle
or
serving
in
this
great
country,
so
god
bless
you
all
and
just
a
shout
out
to
our
our
councilman
once
so.
I'm
sorry,
I
was
not
able
to
be
there
on
saturday.
I
want
you
to
know.
E
I
did
attend
it
a
couple
of
times.
I
really
wanted
to
be
there.
I
will
hope
to
god
there's
an
extra
medium-sized
shirt.
I'd
love
to
have
one
I
know
before
we
used
to
have
them
in
green
now,
they're,
red
I'll,
take
a
red
shirt,
even
if
that
means
I
have
to
go
out
there
and
kind
of
still
clean
up
for
a
couple
of
hours.
I'd
also
be
willing
to
do
so.
E
So
thank
you
great
job,
for
a
great
service
that
you
did
out
there
with
the
e-course
creek
and
everybody
have
a
great
day.
H
Okay,
you
know
just
echoing
what
the
customer
made
baidu
just
said.
You
know
he
thanked
me
for
this
event,
but
you
know
you
can
plan
the
the
the
best
event
you
can
have
the
best
weather
you
can
have
the
best
tools
you
can
have.
You
know
the
food
donated
and
tea
best
t-shirts,
but
it's
nothing
unless
these
people
show
up
it's
the
people
that
make
it
thanks.
Thank
you,
everyone
that
showed
up
for
that
everybody
showed
up,
but
anyway
the
council
chair
pro
tem
abdullah.
H
A
lot
of
you
know
he's
concerned
about
the
vandenberg
corridor
and
for
years
we've
always
asked
the
mayor.
You
know,
give
us
an
update,
we're
all
concerned
about
it,
and
I
had
the
honor
of
being
included
on
the
overlay,
commission
and
I'll.
Tell
you
what
I
was
getting
chills
about.
The
progress
that's
being
made.
The
talk
that's
going
on.
The
big
thing
is:
is
this
ordinance
and
it's
not
just
an
ordinance
for
different
heights?
It's
a
combined
ordinance
with
dearborn
heights
and
taylor
they
have
to.
H
H
The
first
thing
you're
going
to
see
is:
if
this
this
ordinance
comes
into
effect
real
soon,
I
hope
is
when
someone
gets
a
permit
for
a
building,
then
they
have
to
comply
with
the
new
or
vanborn
improvement
ordinance.
That's
the
first
thing
you're
going
to
see,
and
it's
going
to
be
great
things
are
really
really
happening.
I
mean
I
can
testify
to
that.
Just
to
let
everyone
know.
It's
a
great
thing
got
a
lot
of
great
people
involved
in
this,
and
it's
going
to
be
it's
going
to
be
something
special
believe
me.
Thank
you.
E
E
E
That
the
city
of
gilbert
high
school
ahead
adjourn
this
meeting
support.
E
I
believe
we
have
some
residents.
A
C
A
L
Can
you
hear
me?
Yes,
okay,
my
name
is
leslie
winless.
My
address
is
23469
annapolis
street
in
dearborn
heights,
michigan
48125.
I
am
just
here
to
give
updates
from
the
community
and
cultural
relations
commission.
So
we
have
a
ton
of
things
going
on
the
first
being.
The
hate
has
no
home
in
dearborn
heights
campaign,
where
we're
selling
15
lawn
signs
and
we
have
pictures
of
them
on
our
facebook
page.
L
The
next
thing
we're
doing
is
a
rainbow
garden
in
support
of
pride
month
and
the
lbgtqia
plus
look
at
me
community
and
that's
going
to
be
saturday
june
5th
at
10
a.m.
At
city
hall,
we're
also
fundraising
for
a
juneteenth
event,
which
will
be
on
june
19th
2021
from
11
a.m,
to
2
p.m.
At
the
parkland
c2
pavilion
there's
a
gofundme
account
set
up.
L
Additionally,
we
are
hosting
what
we're
calling
the
soul
food
sundaes,
which
are
the
first
two
sundays
in
june
june,
6
and
june
13th,
we'll
we'll
be
selling
dinners
for
15
a
piece
from
12
to
5..
The
dinner
will
include
salad,
fried
chicken
candy,
yams,
macaroni
and
cheese
and
dinner.
Rolls
I'm
sorry
to
make
you
guys
hungry.
I
know
it's
10
o'clock
and
all
this
information
is
available
on
our
city,
facebook
page.
We
also
meet
virtually
every
first
thursday
of
the
month
at
seven.
L
So
our
next
meeting
is
next
thursday
june
3rd
2021
at
7
pm,
and
I
also
want
to
wish
everybody
a
happy
happy
memorial
day.
Thank
you.
P
A
I'm
sorry,
sir
you've
attended
a
lot
of
our
meetings.
You
know
at
that
time
we
are
not
allowed
to
comment
back
to
you.
That
is
procedure.
It
always
has
been
for
years.
J
N
P
P
Let
me
clarify
something
for
let
me
clarify
something
for
you.
You
are
an
elected
official
you're,
not
doing
me
a
favor
when
you're
trying
to
explain
something
for
a
taxpayer
who's
been
involved
in
the
city
for
way
more
than
you've
been
in
the
city.
Man.
That's
number
one
number,
two,
it's
your
duties
to
do
whatever
a
taxpayer
s.
You
should
ask
you
to
number
three
when
you
are
violating
the
charter
or
you
are
violating
the
charter
and
you're
abusing
your
power
by
making
a
wrong
accusation,
you
must
clarify
that
to
a
tax,
fair,
okay,.
T
This
I'm
sorry
council,
chair
specifically.
What
are
you
asking
me
to
advise
you
on.
A
He
is
just
bashing
and
you
know
that's
against
policies
and
procedures.
I
think
we've
already
addressed
that
we
are
going
to
have
the
budget
meeting.
We
had
discussed
that
amongst
ourselves.
A
T
Council
chair,
I
think
it's
usually
a
good
idea
to
err
on
the
side
of
allowing
people
to
have
their
ability
to
speak
so
that
we
do
not
have
further
issues.
I
understand
what
okay.
A
T
P
If
you
want,
if
you
wanted
to
answer
the
proper
question,
rather
you
stand
it
behind
your
finger.
I
had
two
different
questions
for
you.
I
ignored
there's
nothing
funny,
mama
sure
and
believe
me,
if
you
want
to
keep
laughing
about
it,
I'll
definitely
make
you
cry
when
it's
time
to,
I
asked
you
a
question.
Q
T
She
is,
she
is
permitted
to
do
so,
provided
the
council
goes
along
with
her
on
that
council
ultimately
has
the
ability
to
change
the
agenda
by
its
vote.
It
ultimately,
as
the
deliberative
body
has
that
authority.
The
council
chair,
sets
the
initial
agenda.
The
council
is
the
body
approves
it,
the
council
is
a
body
can
change
it
if
they
so
choose
to.
P
T
T
N
A
I
Hi
good
evening,
I
am
relaying
a
call
from
nancy
greyer.
She
wants
to
real
relay
we're
having
a
meeting
at
the
southwest
dearborn
heights,
neighborhood
association
at
the
westwood
board
office,
3335
south
beach
daily
thursday
evening.
What
time?
I
Seven
to
nine
seven
till
nine
tom
roscoe
is
going
to
speak
and
hassan
jamal
is
also
gonna,
speak.
J
A
E
Z
It's
been
mentioned
a
little
bit
ago
that
this
weekend
coming
up
this
memorial
day
and
while
everybody's
out
having
a
barbecues
and
a
good
time,
I
would
like
to
encourage
everybody
to
stop
and
think
about
what
this
holiday
is
actually
about.
It
is
for
the
veterans,
it's
fast,
it's
exactly
what
it
is.
There's
plenty
of
activities
going
on
that
can
be
found.
I'd
also
like
to
remind
the
city,
council
and
the
city
citizens.
There
are
two
memorials
in
front
of
dearborn
heights
city
hall
to
honor
the
veterans
of
the
city.
Z
Z
I
brought
this
up
before.
There
is
still
no
mention
of
those
memorials
on
the
city
website.
There
are
no
photographs
of
the
memorials
on
the
website.
People
cannot
see
this
stuff
or
acknowledge
it
unless
it's
acknowledged
by
the
city.
If
I
could
get
that
back
into
the
motion
again
to
get
that
done,
then
we
would
probably
see
a
lot
more
people
out
there
at
city
hall
for
these
kind
of
events.
D
Yes,
as
a
resident,
I
learned
that
we
have
three
million
dollars,
deferred
payment
for
health
care
and
it
it
is
due
to
be
paid.
I
am
going
to
ask
our
treasurer
of
the
city
next
meeting
to
put
on
the
agenda
to
remove
the
two
million
dollars
assigned
for
the
ope
to
go
back
to
the
general
fund,
the
general
government.
Thank
you,
madam
chair.
G
I
was
going
to
say
the
same
thing
as
councilman
zohar
abdel
hawk
and
just
to
make
a
quick
comment
about
the
agenda
items.
I
think
it
would
be
a
little
hard
to
go
against
our
own
rules
that
have
been
placed
for
I
I
don't
even
know
how
many
years,
but
it's
good,
to
know
that
we
as
a
council
can
put
things
back
on
the
agenda.
G
If
we
vote
on
it,
I
was
under
the
impression
that
we
weren't
and
I'll
have
to
keep
that
in
mind
for
the
next
time.
Thank
you.
