And
I
think
one
of
the
important
things
that
that
I've
heard
and
I'm
sure
we
all
have
you
know
because
we
engage
with
citizens.
All
the
time
is
the
fact
that
we've
had
open
conversations
with
citizens
and
listen
to
their
ideas
and
their
their
visions
and
their
hopes
for
the
future
of
the
City
of
Des
Moines,
and
they
have
been
very
supportive,
at
least
the
ones
that
have
shown
up
here
and
I.
Think
that
has
made
me
feel
like
it's.

B
Just
think
it's
important
to
note
an
item
for
the
we're
following
state
law
with
50%
of
property.
Tax
relief
and
the
other
50%
is
gonna,
go
directly
back
into
our
neighborhoods,
where
it's
needed
in
public
safety.
I.
Think
that's.
You
know
with
repairing
streets
and
plug
flood
prevention
and
improving
their
neighborhoods
and
Public
Safety
I
just
think.
B
That's
key
how
we're
going
to
spend
the
money
and
it's
going
to
be
audited
by
with
public
comment
review
each
and
every
year
and
I
think
it's
important
that
we
point
that
out
we're
not
only
I,
don't
know
for
on-air,
but
I,
know
Austin's
here
and
how
it's
going
to
be
spent
I.
Think
it's
important
that
everyone
knows
now.
C
And
that
there
are
expenses
to
your
point,
Joe
we're
gonna
be
very
open
about
it.
We're
gonna
have
that
annual
audit
and
we're
going
to
make
decisions
that
are
open
and
transparent
to
all
of
our
citizens
in
the
use
of
these
funds.
Not
only
these
but
everything
else
that
we
do
and
that's
why
we
go
out
to
neighborhoods,
have
annual
and
regular
meetings
regarding
budgets
and
in
our
city
planning
and
vision
moving
forward.
So
point
well
made
Joe.
Thank.
