Jason,
Van

with
the
city
planning
staff,
the
applicants
requested
continuance
to
the
next
meeting.
I
shall
allow
further
design
development.
We
had
a
very
productive
meeting
with
them
today.
I'm
sharing
ideas,
so
we're
very
excited
about
the
opportunity
to
keep
keep
that
conversation
going
to
ask
that
you
continue
it
to
the
next
medium,
which
is
your
work.

B
B
The
Drake
University
recreation
cuties
is
this
area
generally
founded
in
yellow.
It
includes
the
Knapp
Center
and
the
tennis
area,
as
well
as
the
parking
lot
to
the
southeast.
The
scale
or
the
hearing
tonight
only
relates
to
the
full
five.
That's
the
only
change
that
they're
modifying
at
this
time
so
I
know
there's
been
some
questions
about
the
proposed
soccer
stadium.
However,
that's
not
part
of
this
appeal,
so
the
only
thing
that
mission
is
considering
tonight
is
the
replacement
of
a
time
that's
located
at
the
corner
of
Forest,
Avenue
and
27.
B
Originally,
they
had
submitted
this
design
that
showed
the
replacement
signs
as
such,
and
these
were
the
dimensions
that
the
agenda
was
based
on.
However,
as
a
fifth
amended,
the
shine
to
appear
like
this,
where
they
would
have
to
brick
columns
that
would
complement
the
NAP
center
and
the
face
stadium.
B
So
that
is
why
I
revised
the
dimensions
on
the
agenda
and
they
would
be
replacing
this
monument
sign
of
that
is
here
today,
as
you
can
see
on
this
photo
the
university
stained
designs
in
poor
condition
and
it's
blocking
traffic,
so
their
funding
to
install
this
new
sign,
which
would
have
an
open
bottom.
So
motorists
could
see
through
the
time
when
waiting
at
the
stoplight
at
27.
3
here
is
another
rendering
defended
emitted.
B
And
shows
and
then
here's
a
of
the
sign.
The
top
portion
here
would
be
electronics
and,
as
noted
in
the
staff
report,
since
it's
an
Events
Center,
they
are
allowed
to
have
video
displays.
As
you
may
know,
citywide.
You
know,
I
try
and
kind,
very
typically
on
the
allowed
to
display
static
images,
but
our
new
code
does
allow
for
event
centers
to
display
full
video
here's
another
site
photo.
B
G
B
B
B
B
And
you
can
see
the
people
closely,
you
can
see
where
the
supporting
parts
where
one
is
from
a
neighborhood
association.
So
as
far
as
our
staff
recommendation
goes,
we
do
understand
great
universities
need
to
replace
the
sign.
However,
we
do
feel
that
the
entire
space
should
be
a
brick
or
other
masonry
materials
that
complement
great
stadiums.
As
you
may
know,
it's
been
the
city's
initiative
of
these
last
several
years
to
really
up
our
standards
on
finest
we're
trying
to
get
all
freestanding
science
to
be
a
monument
science
with
masonry.
B
So
we
have
this
here.
Our
recommendation
is
approval,
subject
to
one
finishing
number,
one:
that
the
sign
is
a
monument
style
of
the
masonry
base
that
complements
the
exterior
of
the
Knapp
Center
to
the
proposed
by
Hamas,
be
located
with
any
vision
within
any
vision,
clearance
triangle
and
three:
any
electronic
display
shall
be
from
there
permitted
to
display
video,
since
the
sign
is
for
any
spent
sentries.
C
B
C
C
B
Do
believe
that
this
ear
is
a
step
in
the
right
direction,
because
originally
they
were
just
showing
two
metal
post
and
I
believe
that
this
was
on
the
screen.
Now
is
actually
an
improvement
from
what
they're
on
the
ground
land.
Today,
however,
I
still
staff
would
still
like
to
see
the
entire
base.
The
film
ends
with
masonry
I.
A
G
E
C
G
C
Concur
with
Greg
sign
that
was
proposed
in
the
packet
that
we
got.
What
is
a
disappointment
to
me?
Let
me
put
it,
you
know
a
Mike
thanks
fun
like
it's
a
huge
improvement,
it's
just
a
huge
improvement,
and
my
one
thing
I
like
particularly
about
it,
is
that
this
is
at
night.
This
can
be
a
highly
pedestrian
oriented
area
and
if
the
base
is
completely
paid
and
I'm
not
saying
this
in
any
way
to
disagree
with
the
neighborhood
nor
the
city,
but
you
know
somebody
could
hide
behind
the
sign.
C
You
know
that's
what
might
happen
this
way.
You
can
actually
see
if
someone's
behind
the
sign,
if
you're
walking
from
one
way
or
the
other
way,
you
don't
have
the
feeling
that
there
might
be.
You
know,
I,
don't
know
why
I'm
trying
to
say,
but
Public
Safety
I,
like
the
way
that
this
is
a
transparent.
C
A
E
F
G
G
G
C
C
Jen,
just
real
quick,
our
next
meeting
June
4th
will
either
be
entirely
virtual
or
it
may
be
a
hybrid
meeting
where
we
actually
have
a
location
where
any
sensor
that
wants
to
participate
could
go
to
I.
Don't
know
that
for
a
week
or
so,
we
did
spend
that
general
information
out
in
the
notices
that
went
out
and
asked
anybody
who
gets
a
notice
to
call
us
to
confirm
the
format
of
the
meeting.
C
But
a
27th
is
when
the
current
proclamations
by
the
governor
expire,
and
so
we
are
waiting
for
direction
on
how
we
are
to
proceed
with
the
next
meeting,
so
be
looking
for
an
email
from
staff
on
the
procedures
for
the
June
4th
meeting,
but
assume
at
this
point
that
we
will
be
basically
a
virtual
meeting
in
some
cart.
Thank
you.
